Chapter Text
In the whispered corners of Hollywood's mysterious sets, the unfolding tale casts Trina alongside another actor, their destinies intertwined on the covert canvas of an undisclosed series. Behind the scenes, a genuine friendship blooms into a dance of shared laughter and lingering glances, weaving a flirtatious connection that transcends the confines of scripted lines.
As they navigate the uncharted waters of their emotions, the boundaries blur between the roles played on and off-screen, unveiling a deeply personal narrative of concealed desires, authentic connection, and the enchantment of a love story discreetly playing out in plain sight.
"I'm almost as good as you when it comes to this secrecy thing," Trina complemented Spencer as she entered the set in her character's costume. "It'll get better in time," Spencer replied as he peeked at her from his script. Trina chuckled as she passed her script to her assistant after the call for silence was heard across the set.
"Rolling! Camera Mark! Action!" The director's voice was heard across the silent set followed by the collision noise made by the slate.
"I've always been in love with you. That's a fact that you cannot deny," Spencer — in character as Felix — voice cracked as his eyes became slightly teary from the confrontation.
"It's a reality that I can, and will deny," Trina — in character as Zara — spoke through her teeth as she swallowed back emotions.
"You betrayed me, Felix."

It was the event of the year.
The Oscars.
The actor's red carpet experience was a whirlwind of glamour and excitement. As they arrived, the flashing lights from cameras illuminated the entire scene, creating an electric atmosphere. Dressed in a stunning ensemble crafted by a renowned designer, the actors confidently strutted down the carpet, exuding poise and charisma.
Fans lined the barriers, eagerly screaming and cheering for a glimpse of their favorite star. The actors graciously paused for photos, striking poses that showcased both their style and the intricacies of their outfits. Journalists and reporters clamored for attention, thrusting microphones forward to capture every word.
Amidst the frenzy, the actors engaged in interviews, discussing their roles in the latest film, sharing anecdotes from the set, and expressing gratitude for the support of fans. The air buzzed with excitement and anticipation as the actors navigated the sea of well-wishers, creating a memorable and star-studded moment on the red carpet.
“So, Ms. Robinson, the people want to know. Is it true that you will be starring alongside Mr. Cassadine in the latest murder mystery series by Mr. Parker?” The journalist queried as Trina Robinson, the triple threat of the industry paused for her short interviews. "It would be a blessing to work alongside Mr. Cassadine one day. He's quite the actor," Trina replied softly before she was guided away by her team.
The camera light rapidly flashed at the sight of the two young adults suddenly crossing paths on the red carpet. "Mr. Cassadine, always a pleasure to see you" Trina greeted as the young heartthrob smiled down at her figure. "Likewise,"
The greeting was brief. One of the chaos of the red carpets was its fast-paced environment. Trina depicts it as a blessing in disguise. A moment of attention — yet introverted as greetings and interviews are kept brief.
Her eyes trailed their way to where loads of screams were heard as another actress made her way onto the red carpet.
Beatrice Anderson.
A female who is considered a 'nepo baby.'
But, she's also a breakout actress who shot to A-list fame after starring in the modern recreation of a well-known romantic film. Her relationship with Hollywood's heartthrob, Spencer Cassadine was also a factor in her fame. There was no denying that.
She's more known as his girlfriend than for her talent.
Trina rolled her red-painted lips together as she held back a negative expression. She's never met the female but she knows about her. Her entitled attitude, her bullish behavior, and the possessiveness she holds over what she feels is hers.
Despite it all, she was America's sweetheart. The feigned innocence she portrays to the public — it's no wonder she's great at her profession.
She's practicing her method of acting on a daily scale.
Spencer's head suddenly turned her way, he felt the stare from his secret costar. The costar...The friend he abandoned since the filming for the first season of the newest network television series wrapped. Their eyes met and the connection of their gazes lingered on what seemed like forever as the chaos suddenly slowed down. The speed of the rapid camera lights was delayed. The people crowding the carpet disappeared and the noises became muffled in the short moment before Trina was pulled away.
Spencer blinked rapidly as he snapped from the trance he suddenly was in. "Ms. Anderson, you and your boyfriend, the infamous Mr. Cassadine here are nominated for the same award. How do you feel?" The journalist asked the baby-faced brunette who's eyes beamed at the attention. "Proud! Very proud!" She spoke in the mic before looking at Spencer, who gave her a small smile.
"I'll say the same," He kept it short before moving away from the journalist. The couple made their way inside the stadium, where many were already sitting. They passed the table where Trina and her family sat, in a swift movement Spencer stretched his hand outward, squeezing the bare shoulder of Trina softly as he sent her a small smile unbeknownst to the female on his arm.
Trina flinched softly before looking up at the culprit that suddenly invaded her personal space. She couldn't help but return the smile despite the hurt she felt after he ghosted their friendship post-filming.
There was a surprise screening tonight for the new series that was disclosed. A trailer and sneak peek, one of the many reactions needed before the show was given the final green light.
Trina's leg bound rapidly as the time for the unveiling of the series quickly arrived. She felt Portia's hand on her knee as she tried comforting her anxious daughter. "Sweetheart, everyone will love it," Her mom reassured as the host began introducing the trailer and preview for the most prestigious actors in the industry. Trina nodded as he lifted her head as the lights dimmed before whispering.
"I sure hope so,"
