Soul Eater Rants

Summary:

Personal thoughts on the events/characters of Soul Eater. Don't take my words for "correct" or "canon" or whatever. This is simply an autistic 17 boy spewing off of his thoughts on a nearly dead fandom.

Notes:

TW: This will contant spoliers for both the Soul Eater Anime and Manga! If you do not wish to be spoiled for one of the other, please take measures to make sure you stay safe!!! :333

Chapter 1: About the content!!!

Chapter Text

Hi!!!! This will basically be a personal ranmble board for me to gove my own thoughts/insights into each character and how I view them. This is not the say that what I'm saying is "right" or "wrong" but simply how I percieve the situations/characters of the series! I will be getting into both the Anime and Manga adaptations of the series though, so spoilers apply to BOTH!!!

Chapter 2: The Anime vs Manga debate

Chapter Text

"The manga needs to be animated!"

"The anime needs to be more manga accurate!!"

BOOOHOOOOO!!!!! Y'all keep begging for a version of the Anime that follow the Manga more, but y'all would literally have Giriko's ASS for his Manga counterpart. Like, it would make sense REALLYYYYYY fast why in the Anime, he shares the same VA as Kyoya from OHSHC (If you know then you know). And all the fans who unironically enjoy Twinkified Justin Law would go insane because of him in the Manga. They wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pool with sterlization fluids. Y'all just be glad that the Anime spared them of their fates (even with the character delepoment that y'all beg for soooo much).

Is there good things about the Manga? Hell yeah! The series falls into a most twisted and moribid sense and questioning of authority, of right and wrong, and so much more things! It shows how the mind snaps/copes with these issues of obvious religous themes and I never wanna take that away from people! But if y'all can't handle Crona's mental/emotional state in the Anime because it's "So sadddd" then the field day that (some) people would have over Manga accurate Crona. Which is sadly the biggest selling point in the Manga communitiy! Not only that, but the amout of new/developed characters that the Manga introduces fans to is INSANE!!! I mean, we get some insight of Ox, Kim, Jacqueline, and so many more background characters that we barely even see in the anime! But then we are also introduced to more manga only characters like Tezca, Gopher, and Noah! They bring so much more to the series, even if they were either fallen flat, or were not fully developed.

I feel like (some of) the Anime watching fans would latch onto Gopher like they do with Crona and Justin, and they add the worst fanon versions of them into that guy, and then justify Noah like every other villian by "He's hot so he's the exception" or some shit like "Call me Gopher fr because I'll be on my knees for this man." If you think I'm crazy for these comments or you've never heard someone say these things about a character, then consider yourself lucky..

AND THEN DECULTURIZE TEZCA'S VERY OBVIOUS CULTURAL DESIGN??? (Which follows Aztech mythology along with Central/South American roots just incase something was a bit confused on it)

Tezca Tlipoca info just in case

Chapter 3: Let's Talk about Giriko

Chapter Text

I will say this first and fore

I will say this first and foremost: I hate Giriko. Always have, even when I was in middle school and just getting into the anime. He always gave me this ick and I never understood why. But as I was re-reading the manga, it became a bit obvious to me why I disliked him so much (and why I would continuously forget "The Salvage'' Arc.)

He. Is. Horrible.

Without a second thought, anime and manga alike, Giriko has been portrayed as a bastard. And in a way, I'm glad they wrote him like this! This is a character that has been through hell and back. Soul Eater was written in the early 2000's and there's no implications of it being in the future/past as far as I'm aware of. So, we can use this time as a baseline to figure out just how long this guy has been around.

Character Profile - Giriko

It's been mentioned a handful of times that he's been "waiting for 800 years" for Arachne's resurrection, so if we take that basic number and subtract it from 2000 (2000-800), we get the base century gap of 1200. Now, obviously this is a more or less situation because after some time, I'm sure he just went to estimation to spare himself the headache of all that math.

But what does that actually mean? I mean, yeah. 800 years, right? But while that's a big number, what does this actually mean for him?

Well, in order, we have to figure out what was going on in his first lifetime. We know that when we are first introduced to him, it's set in Czechoslovakia. However, the Velvet Divider is relatively new to today's world and was only a product of World War 1 between the collapsing countries/empires of Bohemia and Moravia (the Czech Lands), and Slovakia (and a part of Hungary). But that's only 61 years out of 800. That's MAYBE two lifetimes out of the 30-ish that he claims for. And that's already a heavy lifetime spread for any person. I mean, historically speaking, this means that this man already faced BOTH World Wars (On Germany invasion lands at that??).That's already pretty heavy ideology like Anti-Semitism and racism and even the idea of a superior race at play. However, does this mean he fell into said ideas? Probably. Remember, this was his second to most recent life (if we say that his most recent one was in his early to mid 30's). These ideas and even worse ones that I'll mention later. This is nothing to this man.

Now, we can either count back to spare us a headache of math, or we can start from 1200 A.D and work up from there.

What was happening in Czechoslovakia before it was Czechoslovakia? Well, we have to map out an area of where he could have been geographically before we dug any further.

We can see his features right off the bat and hit the markers for the standard Bohemian man. Above average height, slender (in this case, also muscular with that scrawny ass), light complexion, and brown hair, even if it's sandy/light brown. This is the WESTERN side of the country, so we can be safe to say we can look more in that direction than the east.

It's important to note, 1200 A.D for the Czech Lands were in the Middle Ages. The High Middle Ages. This man has been in this world for THAT long all for a big titty spider lady (To that, I respect).

But what were the thoughts in the Middle Ages? How could that be affectable to someone so.. Giriko-y? Well.. it actually gives into a lot more that it seems. To start with, Bohemia in the Middle Ages, especially at that time, was one of the lands collected in the Holy Roman Empire. This already means that religion was a HUGE aspect of this man’s life even in the beginning.

Historically, this makes sense. Lord Death was already seen and represented at this time as the big guy we know in the series, just more serious. We can see the idea of Catholicism in particular falling into the Witches' structure and society (which will be a topic for another time), so a witch dominating time with Arachne on the run falls into the perfect place for everything to change. This probably started the same way the Anglo-Saxon Pagans (Christan Cletic group) tried to abdicate the Catholic church (AND VISE VERSA) in the last 1100’s to early 1200’s. Empathizes in the early 1200’s.

While there is no guess or hint on how Giriko even fell into the idea of Arachnephobia, it’s still clear he’s a strong dedicator of the cause by the sheer dedication this man put up with for 800 years.

We can start Bohemia (Pre-Czechoslovakia) with the Přemyslid dynasty. This was a time of great wealth and military leadership. Inferring what we can about the village Giriko is introduced in (while not the same town as before), we can follow these patterns of “under the radar locations” to the conclusion he probably was a warrior in at least one, if not many battles. The life expectancy for the time was 33 years old. Only 33. This is already higher than what we can count for 800/30 (which is 27 rounded up). This might be my personal thought, but I would assume he would have been a bit more reckless with his first three lives, not really feeding into the depth of the situation in his palms. Mainly because life expectancy went up and down over the years.

I won’t bore you with every dynasty details, however this is what should be known:

Luxembourg dynasty (1310) - Founded the first University in Central Europe. Introduction to mining technology

Hussite Bohemia (1415) - Very strong military times and brought both terror and religious freedom to Europe. Split into two main groups: Ultraquists (Catholic bonded communist??) and Taborites (Anarcho-Communist Protestants)

Habsburg Monarchy (1570-WW1)- Austria-Hungary Ruled territory until WW1. Through 1436-1620, it was one of the more liberal countries of the Christian World for its religious freedoms. Bohemian Revolution in 1618 leading to the Thirty Day War. “Renewal” brought German to be the second language of the country which progressively caused the split in independence and the nation re-rosed as a romantic nationalism country.

World War 1 and Interbellum - With the Austria-Hungarian rule down and dissolved, the nation was split into multiple different countries, one including Czechoslova kia (Which was Bohemia, Moravia, Czech Silesia, Slovakia and Carpathian Ruthenia into one nation.) While Germans and Hungarians lived there as well, they were deemed a “minority.”

World War Two to 2000- German occupation, WW2, and most Germans were kicked from the country unless they were valued due to their Czech history knowledge. Went communist until 1990

So.. yeah.

This man has lived through it all. And the mental scars that left on this man and he wasn’t able to express it like a normal person could? Insane. Which is why his own mental state decreased over time. Until we get this angry shell of a man we see in the anime (but more in the manga). One of the FIRST things we heard from this man was about how he “nearly forgot” who he was. LIKE… DAMN?? And then once his Mistress was returned, this allowed him to slowly let out his rage over these years in the unhealthy coping mechanisms we see throughout the series.

And all was well until Arachne died.

On his watch.

Can you imagine what that does to someone normally? Let alone the fact he spent all this time for HER? And then he let two little kids drug him up and when he woke up, his entire purpose was just.. Demolished?! Like, everyone was just dead. Gone. Adios.

And then he gangs up with Justin of all people and basically tries to project his void of leadership onto Noah. All for this to be taken advantage of (Classical Noah style though) and let all of these emotions boil over until he’s literally losing his mind? Like, I will forever hate the bed scene, however, there’s the small factor at play that I don’t think that this was even a sexual matter? Now, this was not to say that this should have been the way it was projected in the story writing, but there wasn’t even.. Sexual innuendos?

“Oh, but he said how he was going to put a chainsaw through her guts!!”

WHILE ACTIVELY TRYING TO SAW HER GUTS WITH HIS HAND!!!!!

And yes, I’ll give the credit when it;s due. He referred to his dick as a chainsaw when he transformed into the previous generation, but like.. Context is very important to this scene. Majorly. And even when he was given the oppurtunity, he downright refuses because he didn't want the sex. He wanted the despair and struggle of the situation.

Soul Dwelling — Charantee submitted to soul-dwelling: (Caution:...

“Didn’t he call Soul the equivalent of a faggot in the Japanense version?”

This is the man who’s fucked so many men than he probally knows the inside and out like the outline of a boob. C’mon y’all.. He’s like the most homophobic queer character known to the media by implication (not confirmed).

And the fact his soul literally explodes because of how much anger this guy’s had over the years? Insane, yet very fitting and a very settling ending to this bastard of a character. I have always wondered if it’s like a heart attack or a stroke. Whatever it was, it was NOT a peaceful end for his body.

Chapter 5: Soul Eater and Religion!

Chapter Text

Now, is it pretty obvious that Soul Eater is circled around religion? Yes. Obviously. We have Justin's entire fit for that, but also a LITERAL GOD OF DEATH??? I mean, that's obvious. And with that, it's been killing me that I couldn't give soild proof of which sub-religion it was. That sounds stupid, I'm fully aware. However, while Christainity is the largest praticed religion in the world, there's so many sub-religions within in it that just makes you stare at it in downright confusion.

But hoenstly, that jsut amde me think more. I didn't want to instantly say Catholicism because of Justin's outfit (Mainly because it could have been on easy aesthetic purposes), but also because in Christianity alone, there are 6+ sub-religions that include nuns/religious sisters. And on top of that, Buddism also has nuns.

Nun religions include (but may not be excluded to):

- Catholism (Roman) Christians
- Orthodox (Orintal) Christians
- Orthodox (Eastern) Christians
- Lutheran Christians
- Anglican Christians
- Presbyterianism (Calvinism) Christians
- Episcopal Christians
- Methodism Christians
- Buddist

That's a lot of nuns. Like.. an ungodly amount of nuns (pun slightly intented). And while we can't really use their comparesion to Justin's behavior/actions and say "OH He's defiently Anglican!!!" or any other fun stunt like that, we can take a quick glance at his outfit and compare it to some of the other options here.

Character Profile - Justin Law

Which says just about jack shit. I just needed an excuse to add a Justin picture into this chapter. :3

But if the nun part of it doesn't give us a definite answer, what would? I mean, it's not like we can really pick apart every little aspect of the Soul Eater universe just to find the answer to ONE little answer. Can't we just say Christians and live on with life? No. No. I can't.

But seriously? What the hell can give us a clear clue if ain't got the strongest clue?

The Witches .

Witch Order EXPLAINED | Wiki | Soul Eater Amino

In the Manga, yes. It's called the Witches' Order. However, the anime was slightly more generous with their wording (In the English Dub at least) and gave us "Witches' Mass." So, it has to be Catholics, right?

...

Right?

Masses in religion include (But may not be excluded to):

- Catholic (Roman)
- Catholic (Old)
- Catholic (Independent)
- Orthodox (Western Rite)
- Lutheran
- Anglican
- Methodism

There is already the pattern of these three Churches: Roman Catholics, Lutherans, Anglicans, and Methodism.

That's still too much for my comfort. So, I was looking around, grasping at stuff in the anime to give me more clues. I mean, there were still a few Biblical references, but vague ones that would still apply to most Christianities. So, where else could I look? The Manga? But that's stupid. I mean, yeah, we get more ideas of some things, but I don't think there is a clean cut answer to the answer.

Wrong again. Noah and Gopher!!!

While at first glance, these two are just a simple reference to the Noah's Ark story, that's exactly why this is so important! While there will be more to come, I'm focusing on two parts in particular: Noah's The Book of Eibon (and the implications of such) and the Demon Belt in Gopher's possession.

Noah

The "Icons" and the Chapters:

Only few sub-religions actually map out what the Deadly Seven Sins are about and how they affect a person. These are still the same four from before, however, there is one little detail about the sins that are not added into the three of the four groups; Acedia (mental sloth/surrender) and Vainglory (empty dedication/pride). While these two are not shown as chapters, they are very well sprinkled into "The Salvage" Arc.

Lust:

A longing sin, one that was shown to expose one's true colors (in Soul Eater, in the form of gender-swapping below) and can still be shown and lived along with other sins. A sin that makes you a "slave to the Devil" (As shown as the Succubus being entrppaed in the Book)

Soul Eater] : r/animenocontext

Wrath:

Irrational anger and resentment towards an innocent person (such as Wrath!Noah/Gopher's dynamic) for an ungodly long time and the rage overpowers the reasonable punishment or to the desire to kill (Giriko/Maka/Soul). These sins can bottle up for an unnumbered extent of time, however the focus will only be targeted at the person in question. This is shown as the bottled resentment Black𖤐Star had at Excalibur in the Wrath chapter. (Because while bro way annoying in a comedic way, he ain't deserving of the abuse.) These sinners are victims of themselves.

Excalibur | Soul Eater Wiki | Fandom

Pride:

Pride is defined by the desire/mentality of the "anti-God" itself. It's deemed as the worst of these sins and the root of them all. It lives in harmony with all other sins, however the leader of the spite of God himself. Black𖤐Star himself shows this trait in both the Chapters and all other times. He lives to spite his past and his future. He, himself, strives to grow stronger than any God he shows. (Liz was the mirror of the sin in the actual Chapter*). These sinners are victims to their minds.

Soul Eater, Chapter 74 - Soul Eater Manga Online

Gluttony:

Well, we all know Gluttony has to do with food/consumables, however it's not always overeating (" Nimis" - like shown in the Manga's adaption of the Chapter). This sin could include eating over expensive foods ( Laute) , eating foods for beauty purposes or pleasing manners ( Studiose) , eating too soon ( Praepropere) , and eating too eagerly ( Ardenter ). These sinners are victims to their hearts.

Soul Eater, Chapter 73 - Soul Eater Manga Online

Greed:

Greed is the idea and desire for respect and power through materialistic matters. This Sin is shown both through Black𖤐Star for his desire for power (to protect/save) and through Noah's Greed form for the desire to be seen as a God himself. The Chapter was full of Wealth, ones that would disappear when they stepped out of the Book of Eibon itself. However, the end of said Chapter gave the opportunity for grabs.

Soul Eaterpedia's Admin Blog — Things you probably didn't know in Soul Eater

Envy:

A sinner who engulfs themself in purposeful sorrow for their own unfulfillment. This sin was shown in the Chapters through Soul and Maka eyes separately yet these two show the full roundedness of the sin. It is not just sadness, but a cycle of three things: Depression, Joy, and Hatred. Soul reflected the Depression side of this matter, his inferiority complex hitting to his personal life and self identity. Maka's showed the Joy fator this is sin in the opposite manner than it was intented. Envy can cause people to find joy by other's downfall, however we can see the "girls" find joy off of Maka's failure.

Book of Eibon | Soul Eater Wiki | Fandom

Sloth:

Sloth is defined in a few different ways, however in the finalized version of it (noted by Thomas Auqinas) was sorrow of worship. Now this seems.. different than how we've imagined Sloth in media. Not caring. No fighting. Just.. rest. Laziness. But this version of it in particular is shined through Maka during the Sloth Chapter because of her indifference to the situation. She didn't care what was done to her. She didn't care if Soul had a different partner or not, and this reason is largely because of sinners who fall into Sloth neglect thier own minds. In Maka's case, she fails to see or grasp the idea that she could do what she wanted to be or could do (rooted from Envy), and the outcome of it turned into a disregard of the world around her.

Book of Eibon | Soul Eater Wiki | Fandom

That was all seven. All seven sins, but what does this actually show? This could still be the many different sub-religions of Christianity, right? Well.. not exactly. The Seven Sins we know are basically the "final draft" of sin. There was initally eight/nine different ones and these is only one grouo that does acknowledge these sins, even if not added to the final Seven.

Acedia:

Acedia is the Historical Sin of neglegence and ennui (boredom). The sin of self isolation and the apathy. This was later on added into Sloth's response to sin, however it's important to understand the difference. As I said before, Maka was a prime example of Sloth's end result. However, in Acedia's case, there is actually a character that mirros the mentality greater than simple Sloth. A charcter that was so trapped inside their own head that the world just looked like an undifferent mess in the Salvage Arc.

Soul Eater Soul And Blackstar Vs Kid

It wasn't that he was lazy and was upset over the idea of his place, but it was that his mind said not to worry. It spaced it's to this place of lack of effort. Neglect of the situation and context.

and then there's the other one..

Vainglory:

Otherwise know as vainity, this Historical Sin was defined as empty boost or pride in own's self, or without the greatness of God. It wasn't always one of self praise, but a lack of self orignality. Or in a simpler tone of text, it was one's pure lack of Pride. Which is why vainity is shown with that mirror. It's a reflection of yourself, but it doesn't actually show anything. And if you stare too long, you become obessive. The Salvage Arc sprinkles in this little prize into itself with someone who's spent their time decicating both somehting and nothing for so.. long that it at end, was the reason they lacked the importance of self dependence and how one's detachment from dedication could be explosive for the mind, body, and soul.

Villain Psychology- Giriko | Soul Eater Amino

He shows both the defientions of Vain; 1) "having or showing an having or showing an excessively high opinion of one's appearance, abilities, or worth (Vaniety)." He's always been a bit overzelous in his moments in fights. However, the results of his mentality also shines the reader with the other definiton; "producing no result; useless." He doesn't.. actually get anywhere in his attempts. He turns into.. nothing. He is a character of vain.

Now, what religion acknowledges from.. all of these sins? Well..

The Roman Catholics.

Not the funnest answer. But in all fairness, these sins could be seen as odd coincidence. There was no way these could have been ALL planned out. Which to that, I respect. I mean, really? It probably seems like I'm grasping at straws for ideas like Matpat (no disrespect on my man like that but still.. he's a lil crazy sometimes).

Which is where Gopher comes in. Obviously, Noah and Gopher are refences to the story of Noah's Ark, and Gopher is to refence the wood used to hold the ship together (gopherwood). However, I find it a bit interesting that Gopher is the one who goes and collects what Noah desires. Biblically, Noah supplies the needs and the Ark would simply hold and support it, no matter the situation. This change in context of the Catholic Bible though, in a slight manner. In many versions, the Flood was worldwide. However in the Catholic Bible, they do not say one way or another if it was or wasn't and allow either interpication. So, if this was the truth, then gopherwood was truly a material of convenence.

In the Manga, Noah is only grabbing what he desires (For Greed at least) and Gopher is the balance for that need. When Noah is in his Wrath!Icon, Gopher has to be that pillar. Gopher is stuck as his tool of convenence. And the Demon Belt literally acts on this part for him. The Belt collects. The Belt is used as a weapon.

Ok, I'll shut up now. It's been 29 hours writing this and I'm so done...

But yeah. They're Roman Catholics.

He can wax me, tease me, break my bines, cause bone decay because of lack of blood flow, bite me, pull my hair, use a knife on me, eletrocute me, use fire, waterboard me, use me like a fleshlight, use any or all of my (working) holes and I'd thank him.

I need to worship him.

I need Christmas to get here sooner so I can get the custom made merch my bf got me (thank you always bbg)

Chapter 9: I FOUND THIS ACCOUNT AGAIN!?!

Chapter Text

It's been OVER A YEAR since I've been on this site, oh my God?? I haven't grown out of Soul Eater, thank god but have DEFINITELY looked into a few more aspects so keep an eye out for a few new things there soon (??) And happy turkey day for all who celebrates it!

Chapter 10: Gopher Rant

Summary:

This isn't a full analysis on Gopher's character, this is simply something I've been thinking about in regards to Gopher's jealousy.

Chapter Text

Okay so we know how Noah created Gopher somehow and Gopher's main "sin" would probably follow Envy? Through his interactions with Death the Kid (the whole Kid-napping) and Maka (in the Grigori Arc). I wonder how much resentment or just jealousy he feels towards DTK because it's like

They're both not human.

Gopher actively tries calling Maka a primitive ape as an insult and while he has an soul unlike his creator, he doesn't follow the same classification. He's a Demon Tool but wasn't raised with the same sort of "human nature" we see from DWMA students, Arachnophobia members or even characters like Eruka or Free. He's a tool through and through. And before Giriko and Justin, what all DID he have?? While those two definitely ain't good role models, they collectively share more than him. And while his stewing overly emotional state, that sort of anger and madness being around him could easily be an insulator for a lot of that sourness.

And then there's DTK?? He's nowhere near the same sort of "humanity" that a "regular" meister or weapon hone but yet he's treated the same. An equal. What sort of right does he have and why does someone like him get higher value to Noah than the damned tool he made himself all because of the fact he's so "special." Something that Gopher has been so drilled into his mind isn't normal or right and needs corrective is suddenly praised by Death' child?? And why? Because he's somehow more important. Hell, even a "lowly" meister like Maka is somehow more important than him. The Kishin? Sure, whatever. Hell, he'll gladly help. But this is a kid who's freaking out because you're not hitting both sides of his body.

Chapter 11: The Tragedy of Justin Law

Summary:

This isn't a full character analysis, this is simply a note of the rise and fall of his character in regards of "worship" and dedication.

Chapter Text

While I could go into a great detail about how Noah found some of the most codependent people in the entire series to be in his group, I find it odd how Justin was in the group.

Because yes, while he checks the markers like Giriko and Gopher do, his reasoning isn't even to fill the same void like the others. He knows who he's loyal to now and even went OUT of his way to drag Giriko along into the group. Meaning he found the gang (or duo at the time) before Giriko and was probably there during the Arachnophobia infiltration. There could be a number of reasons why he might have gone to those two.

I mean, he's on the run from the DWMA. But Noah was IN Arachnophobia at the time under the ruse of Eibon so that doesn't make sense. We don't know Gopher as a character either at this time so we can't instantly go ahead and say that Justin was watching him during the whole feud. He was already with those clowns but why did Justin take Giriko and the clowns to Noah straight after the infiltration?? It wasn't like after Noah snagged Death the Kid, they were still under the radar. Gopher's mission for Maka only sets that fact in the stone yet he stays until Death the Kid was grabbed back from the DWMA. Because while we can see Gopher, Noah, and Justin on the moon, it's within different groups. All are after the Kishin yet Justin has this huge group with him and the other two are by themselves.

So why Noah? I like to think that because he was only a recent refugee from the law (no pun intended), he still knew that the DWMA was going to go after Arachnophobia, even if he didn't know the full details. That's how he came across Eibon (Noah) and started keeping notes in case he needed to go with them. He never really detached from the DWMA and what he learned. It's all he knew, even if that's not who he wasn't anymore. He stuck around when they got DTK because it was an outlet for him. The up and coming gem of the Shinigami bloodline being right there and he can watch him get humbled and humbled and overall mistreated. And when that toy was taken back, that was a big thing for his separation from the group. Along with the lost of the one person who caught onto his oncoming crisis (Giriko).

But then he fights Tezca. The one guy who was there for him thick and thin. And all this guy is doing is yelling and yelling and yet Justin just doesn't.. understand him. There was always a barrier between them, sure. But when he goes out of his way to understand Tezca, he's telling him that it's not too late?? That stupid line he's heard from every other person who's tried and capture him. And for what? He knows that's not his home anymore and when his one somewhat friend is saying that?? That was the nail in the coffin because that means Tezca never knew who he really was. Or at least, that means that he was so much of a lost cause that this encounter was the tread that snapped him. As much as the DWMA ran through his mind, that was the last thing that made him detach himself straight to the Kishin.

He knew that the DWMA was probably going the Kishin as well but that wasn't his issue nor focus. Justin was fully devoted to him now. "Blinded by Madness"
