Chapter Text

The sun dipped low on the horizon, painting the surroundings in the perfect golden hue. It was beautiful, no doubt. There were a lot of people talking and laughing, all over the port area. The combination of vacations and the sea always brought happiness to people.

Jimin and Namjoon hurriedly got off their cab and dragged their luggages while arguing. They had reached just on the very minute that was their departure time and Namjoon was just very angry at Jimin and his lack of time management.

“For once Jimin-ah, can you not be late?”

“We're on time! Stop fussing.”

“We still have to get our IDs checked and-”

The duo get stopped by a smiling face in front of them. The man was taller than Jimin but shorter than Namjoon. He was wearing the most vibrant shirt Jimin had ever seen, it was as if an unicorn had puked all over the man.

“Hello gentlemen, are you here for Sunshine cruises?”

“Ah, yes. Sorry we're a few minutes late.”

Namjoon shot an angry look at Jimin to which the younger man just rolled his eyes. The man in front of them chuckled.

“No worries. I'm Hoseok, your tour manager. The queue has just started. Please go verify your documents at the port office along with the passes.”

Jimin's eyes widened, “We don't have the passes yet.”

“I'm aware. Please state your names.”

“Kim Namjoon and Park Jimin.”

“Show me some ID please.”

They both showed their passports and got two shiny passes from the man named Hoseok. Jimin didn't bother looking and immediately rushed to the port office while Namjoon stood with their luggages.

“This guy gives me headaches.”

“If that isn't the best definition of love.”

Namjoon was a little taken aback but then he shrugged it off thinking it was just a harmless mistake by the manager. He tagged their luggage and handed it over to the designated staff before walking towards the office. With the sun hitting his face so hard, Namjoon quickly pulled out his sunglasses and wore them.

As the formalities all came to an end, Jimin and Namjoon finally got to board the cruise. They couldn't help but smile at the beautiful scenery in front of them. The mighty, yet beautiful sea, roaring its waves at them, inviting them like a Siren would. Jimin was a son of the sea. Being born and brought up in busan, he'd always felt a special connection to the sea, and now that he could get aboard a cruise and spend four days on it, the blonde boy couldn't be happier.

Namjoon glanced at the younger man and a soft smile spread on his lips. He adored Jimin, could even kiss the ground he walked on if the younger one wasn't so infuriating at times. They'd been friends since university days, many said that they wouldn't last, but they did. Their friendship outlived many relationships. Maybe there was a reason for it, maybe there was something that they both refused to admit. But the eyes, they never lie, do they?

A lot of couples were around them, just linking arms with champagne in hands and orchid garlands on their necks. Jimin couldn't help but sniff his garland and revel at the sweet scent, smiling to himself.

“Yah, are you gonna sniff the flowers all the time or actually go to the majestic suite you bragged about so much.”

Jimin flattened his lips and straightened the collar of his shirt, “You'd be proud of what an excellent tour package I've bought for us. I won friendship day bitches.”

Namjoon shook his head and chuckled. Little by little, the queue cleared up and they faced the same man from before once again.

“Hello Hoseok.”

“Hi! I'm glad you remember me. Kindly show me your passes so I can provide your key card. Your room is right at the end of that passage. The emerald suite is beautiful, you guys have a great choice.”

Jimin looked at Namjoon with a smug face only to get smacked on his head lightly.

“Ow! Hyung!!”

Jimin gently massaged the back of his head.

“You guys are a lovely couple. Almost like you've been married for years.”

Both Jimin and Namjoon flushed at the comments but before they could correct the man, Hoseok had moved to another customer.

The suite was beautiful. It was almost as big as an apartment with a big bathroom, a living room and a grand bedroom. The bed was filled with rose petals and a care package sat on it.

A note saying ‘Kim ♡ Park ’ was attached to the package and Jimin looked at Namjoon knowingly.

“Jimin-ah, did you book a couples’ cruise?”

“I swear I saw it as a discounted cruise package for two!” said Jimin, defensively.

“Well if the behavior around us is to be taken into account, then-”

Jimin hurriedly pulled out the pass and gasped, “Shit.”

They both sat on the bed, making a few rose petals fall on the ground. For a few minutes, Jimin didn't speak a word, nor did Namjoon. There was a flurry of emotions rushing in their head, trying to figure out the situation.

Hoseok’s voice rang in Jimin's ears, the word couple making him blush once again. He liked it. He liked being called a couple with Namjoon, who knew. For just these few days, couldn't they just pretend?

“Hyung.”

They both looked at each other, their gazes meeting.

“Jimin-ah I was thinking that-”

Jimin was worried, “Thinking what?”

“Can we, like, just pretend these few days?”

It was as if Namjoon had broken Jimin's skull and read his mind. The younger couldn't help but wish in his head that their reasons were the same too, only for that wish to shatter immediately.

“You know, because we got the discount and losing it would just be stupid.”

Namjoon lied . He wanted to be called a couple with the younger man because he wanted Jimin. He wanted to hold Jimin's hands and talk to him about the wonders of the world. However, not all dreams come true, especially the ones that he saw about a future with his beautiful friend .

“Y-yeah, absolutely. Besides, it could be fun, right?”

Namjoon chuckled, “Right.”

They both laid on the bed like that, in their jeans and colorful shirts, admiring the beautiful ceiling. It's ornate, like some museum in Paris, the ones Namjoon loves to go to. Jimin wishes he could walk in the streets of Paris with his hyung, holding hands and sharing one cotton candy like lovers do.

The lazy evening passed by as the ship sailed into the sea. Namjoon gave Jimin a few pills to handle his sea sickness. Within a few minutes the younger was fresh and ready. They both cleaned up and changed into loose shirts and shorts which they bought at a convenience store.

They weren't the best quality, but the duo loved it.

Soon they received an alert on the tablet situated in the room. It was time for the welcome ceremony.

“Shall we, jagiya ?”

Jimin's heart fluttered at the nickname.

“We shall!”

Namjoon sneaked up his hand against Jimin's, exchanging his warmth against the blonde’s cold hands. It felt right as they walked like that, hand in hand, with confused smiles on their faces.

God, if only they could be each other's.

The main hall is decked with fairy lights, there was food and drinks all over. The stage was lit up and their tour manager was on it, speaking to the people onboard. Jimin and Namjoon both grabbed glasses of whiskey before taking their seats. Plates of sushi and other snacks filled their table. Everything around looked so posh that the duo felt a little shaky about touching anything.

“This is really fancy. I'm glad I didn't read the terms well.”

Namjoon slapped his hand over his forehead and shook his head which drew out a loud laughter from Jimin. The younger one rested his body on Namjoon and giggled. The touch of their skins sent jolts of currents coursing through Namjoon's body. They were close, too close and yet, too far.

He turned his head and focused on whatever the hell Hoseok was saying. Jimin's eyes lingered on Namjoon's face for a while before he too ended up looking at their tour manager.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Sunshine Cruises. We're oh so happy to get all these wonderful couples on board and from all kinds of backgrounds and age groups!”

Everyone cheered and clapped. Jimin pouted at the loss of Namjoon's touch as they both straightened up to clap. Everyone around was so happy, just giggling and eating good food with their partners, their lovers. Jimin felt so envious, but then again, he'd rather pretend to be just Namjoon's friend than lose whatever they had. He couldn't afford to lose his hyung.

“Romance isn't dead after all, huh.”

“Here you go, Mr. Hopeless Romantic.”

“Not everyone likes to just flirt and fuck like you Jimin-ah.”

“Flirting is actually good for health, you know, it's like yoga. And regarding sex, I'm just too good at it.”

Namjoon choked on his drink and Jimin immediately rushed to clean his face. His fingers might have lingered around Namjoon's plump lips for longer than intended, but thankfully, the elder didn't notice.

“You're ridiculous. Why do I even put up with your ass?”

“Because I've got the fattest ass in Korea.”

“Shut up.”

They stayed at the hall till late that night, watching the multiple dances and musical performances. The food and the drinks filled them with joy and laughter. Jimin was now putting his entire weight on the elder and to Namjoon, that just felt like a normal Wednesday.

They were accustomed to this clinginess, and Namjoon blames his feelings a lot on their moments of proximity, because when he's near Jimin, Namjoon often forgets how to breathe.

“Hyungg, wait for me on the deck, I'm gonna go pee.”

Namjoon laughed at the younger man before ruffling his hair and walking towards the deck. His eyes rested on the night sea. It looked calmer than he imagined. Nothing like the scenic beauty of the ocean and the sky meeting like long lost lovers. They looked so close and yet they were so far. Both endless and powerful, but they were parallel, with each other, but never together.

Away from Seoul meant away from all the pollution which explained why he could see the stars so clearly. It was beautiful. Almost as if some artist painted white little twinkling dots all over the never ending sky.

“Romantic stargazing without me, jagiya ?”

Jimin's sweet voice tingled in Namjoon's ears and when the elder's eyes fell on Jimin, he could see a million stars in the younger's widened eyes. Namjoon was so fucked. He was gone.

“There's no one around Jimin-ah, drop the act.”

“I don't know, it's fun to see you blush like that.”

“I-I didn't blush, it's the alcohol.”

“Sure it is.”

Jimin smiled, from ear to ear, and his eyes disappeared into beautiful crescents. He pulled Namjoon's cheeks and called him cute a bunch of times.

They walked back to their suite, hand in hand, even though right now, no one would care about them. Most of the crew were getting some rest and the other voyagers were all busy in their rooms.

Jimin slipped into his pajamas while Namjoon took a shower. As soon as they both turned off the lights and pulled the duvet over themselves, sleep took over and the duo went into deep slumber.

Namjoon woke up to an empty bed. He checked his phone and learnt that it was just eight in the morning. In all these years, he had never seen Jimin wake up before 10 o'clock. He really must love the sea.

The elder wishes to go to Busan someday with Jimin and wander around the places where the younger grew up. Everything about Jimin fascinated him anyway.

He quickly freshened up and got dressed, only to find a very relaxed Jimin by the deck.

“Good morning, hyung.”

“Someone looks happy.”

Jimin smiled, his eyes almost shutting, “It's the sea.”

“Did you take the pills for seasickness?”

“I did and I'm okay, don't worry. Let's get some breakfast.”

The breakfast lounge was pretty crowded when they reached, but thanks to good management, Jimin and Namjoon found their designated seats easily. Different kinds of breakfast were all spread out for people to choose from. From pancakes to porridge, they had it all.

Jimin settled for some good old kimchi pancakes and a fruit bowl, while Namjoon ate sandwiches. The younger wasn't really a morning person, so most of the days, he'd skip breakfast, which is why Namjoon felt happy about Jimin stuffing his mouth with food at a proper meal time.

“You're lame, who the fuck eats sandwiches!”

“Hey! I like sandwiches.”

Jimin rolled his eyes and continued eating from his plate. One of the waiters served watermelon juice and they both clinked glasses and took a sip, as if it were wine.

“This is so fancy, how am I gonna adjust to normalcy after this?”

Jimin laughed, his eyes crinkling, “We could try living a fancier life back home.”

Namjoon pats his chin with his index finger, “So wine and caviar in place of beer and fried chicken? Even the one from that ahjumma’s place?”

Jimin pressed his lips together, “Nah, that's non negotiable, our lives are great anyway.”

Namjoon laughed, wetting his lips with his tongue. Jimin might've stolen a few glances, but that's not important. Breakfast felt nice, with the bright light and the beautiful sea, all for them to bask in. The couples around looked so happy and full of love, in their vibrant clothes, on this voyage to have an experience of a lifetime.

“Hyung?”

Jimin's voice is almost like a whisper, like he's afraid of what he's going to say.

Namjoon turned his head and raised his eyebrows, “Hmm?”

Jimin's own gaze dropped to the cutlery on his table, unable to meet the elder's eyes, “Do you think love is worth it?”

Namjoon felt a little surprised at the question, but he still answered, “What do you mean?”

Jimin shrugged, “I don't know, people seem to give up their freedom and uproot their lives so easily for the one they love. Is it worth it?”

Namjoon takes a sip of his juice before reaching out for Jimin's idle hand that rested on the table, making butterflies flutter in the younger boy’s belly. He just rubbed his thumb over Jimin's hand and Jimin could just melt then and there. It felt so tender that for a moment Jimin forgot what they were even talking about. He couldn't help but meet the elder's gaze finally.

“If you ask me Jimin-ah, I think love is worth every fight and every little adjustment, as long as the other person is willing to go that far too.”

They held each other's gaze like that for a minute and Jimin could feel his entire body burning in the fire that came from Namjoon's dragon eyes. It was so cliché and yet it felt so right.

“You have pretty eyes.”

Jimin blabbered before he could stop himself and Namjoon's eyes widened, “um what?”

Namjoon pulled away his hand and rubbed the back of his neck nervously, a blush spreading on his cheeks.

“I-I just mean that your eyes are well pretty.”

Namjoon laughed awkwardly and then replied, “I think your eyes are pretty too Jiminie.”

Jimin feels so thankful that he wouldn't have to reply to that because their tour manager had just clinked glasses to gather their attention.

“Good morning everyone! Hope you all had a good night's sleep.”

Everyone cheered except for Jimin and Namjoon who were still very embarrassed from their conversation earlier.

“In half an hour, we’ll reach Yeosu, where you all can do some sightseeing and have lunch, which is all included in the package except for any shopping you do.”

Jimin's smile widened and he excitedly clapped. He had always wanted to visit Yeosu. His parents had pictures of Yeosu from when they had visited the city, it was even before Jimin was born. Now that he was finally visiting the place, the blonde boy couldn't keep his excitement in. He grabbed Namjoon's hand and dragged him towards their room.

“Hyung we have to get ready, COME ON!!”

Namjoon just obliged. He could never really say no to Jimin.

It wasn't Namjoon's first time at Yeosu, but boy, the place had changed. It still had its charm, but the quiet little place that he enjoyed so much years ago wasn't really the same.

Jimin and Namjoon had their arms linked, just like all the couples getting off the ship one by one. It wasn't really necessary but they obviously just wanted to fit in with the others.

“I can't believe I'm finally visiting Yeosu. I've wanted to come here for such a long time.”

Namjoon chuckled, “Are you really that excited?”

“I am! I've always wanted to have a fun day out here.”

Namjoon stopped walking and Jimin had to stop too, due to their linked arms. He looked at the elder confusingly.

“You have some extra cash with you, right?”

“Yeah?”

“So do I. Let's ditch the group and do sightseeing by ourselves. I know the best barbeque restaurant here, you'll love it. We can be back at the designated time.”

Jimin visibly lightened up, “I love the idea! Come, let's ask Hoseok.”

Hoseok had agreed immediately and informed them about the departure time. He even gave them helpline numbers in case they got into any trouble and then arranged them a rental cab. A great tour manager indeed.

The first thing they did was walk towards the Island of Odongdo. The beautiful waters and the breathtaking view had Jimin gasping. They both posed for multiple pictures once they reached the famous lighthouse. Namjoon always took such aesthetic photos, it made Jimin a little envious.

His Instagram account was a mess of everything while the elder's was like an expensive art exhibition. Jimin didn't care about social media much, but his competitive side really wanted to do better than everyone else.

The sea breeze played with their hair, the saltiness easily tastable on their lips. Jimin and Namjoon rested their backs against some rocks and breathed in the freshness.

“I feel so good. Thank you, really. I don't think I'd get this peace if I was here with that many people.”

“You're welcome.”

Jimin rolled his eyes and playfully hit Namjoon's chest, “I'm not thanking you. You're my supposed jagiya , you're supposed to do nice things for me.”

He knew Jimin was being playful, but being called domestic endearments by the man he loved so much but-could-never-reciprocate to, made weird feelings settle deep inside Namjoon. It didn't matter how it was just for a few days, but this outside façade to show the people on ship how in love they were, was slowly making him fall for Jimin even more hopelessly.

They both felt it, but they just brushed it off, as always.

As it turned out that even though urbanization had gotten his hands on the city, Yeosu was just as beautiful. The breeze just seemed so much lighter and a part of Jimin wanted to just stay there, with his hyung, in this beautiful city. Maybe they could open a small convenience store and bicker about which wallpaper to put on the walls of their place.

Jimin was never one to believe in settling with one person, but ever since he had realized he loved Namjoon, the future is all he has thought about. It was scary how much the elder affected him. He wanted to live a domestic life with Namjoon so badly, twenty year old Jimin would have laughed at his face.

“Tickets for two please.”

Luckily enough, they were the only ones in that cable car, admiring the beautiful views and the sun that glazed their faces.

“I'm so glad we put on sunscreens.”

“I'm always right, but we already know that so…”

“You're an insufferable little brat Jiminie.”

Jimin runs his hand through his hair, the soft golden locks falling on his forehead, “Not everyone can handle me, you know? The day I meet my match will be the day you'll bid this Jimin adieu, but it's not gonna happen.”

Namjoon doesn't know what got into him, but he just brought his face closer to Jimin and their breaths mingled together. The younger man could feel the sudden tension between them and it made goosebumps erupt on his skin. For the first time ever, Park Jimin didn't have anything to say. Namjoon reached for his face and gently brushed some of Jimin's hair from his face.

“I think I can handle you, Jimin-ah.”

Just like the morning their eyes meet again, but this time the gaze doesn't last long as a sudden jolt makes them both yelp. Namjoon had fallen on Jimin and the younger one held him in a hug.

“What the fuck?”

“I think we are stuck.”

They were both stuck, on a cable car, one mishap, and they'd be dead. Before the duo could panic any further, the speaker inside blared up.

“We're sorry for the inconvenience, please do not worry, there's been an electricity issue which will be resolved soon.”

They both waited, calmer than their usual chaotic selves. Maybe it was because both of them were embarrassed and confused about whatever the hell happened earlier.

Jimin chewed his bottom lip while Namjoon nervously checked his nails for a few minutes before the car started again and they reached the station.

For the next one hour, they didn't speak a word other than the occasional ‘hmm’ and ‘oh’. It was when they reached the barbeque restaurant that Jimin exclaimed happily.

“I love barbeque oh my god, let's eat EVERYTHING!”

He shouted the last word, making Namjoon laugh. They both got their seats and soon a plethora of meat, squid, shrimp and crab was served, with a variety of side dishes and lettuce.

Jimin started grilling the meat while Namjoon set their drinks ready. Easy, just some combined soju and beer.

“This is the greatest food ever.”

“Right? Like I love the fancy cruise food, but this is unmatched!”

Namjoon giggled and nodded his head, “Long live Korean barbeque.”

“Cheers to that!”

Their last hour at Yeosu, the duo spent the whole time shopping. They didn't buy much, but it was fun just roaming around at such a vibrant market. People who live away from big cities like Seoul and Busan, have such simple lives it baffles Jimin.

“Can you imagine it, hyung?”

“Imagine what?”

“Living a life like this? Worrying about fish and other trivial stuff?”

Namjoon takes a few minutes to answer and Jimin almost thinks he wouldn't get an answer, but then for the second time in the day, Namjoon did something that made Jimin gasp internally, he intertwined their hands and walked like that.

“Before I didn't think so, but now, I think, with the right person, I could live in a dumpster.”

It's almost dark when the cruise sets sail again, the murmurs and the laughter ringing in the air. There was an arrangement for snacks in the bar, but the duo were too full of all the food from earlier.

They were standing on the deck, once again breathing in the salty air. It was as if they never got tired of it. Namjoon had a packet of M&Ms with him, which he offered Jimin a number of times but the younger didn't really have a sweet tooth.

“How do you always eat sweets?”

“Because I'm a man of taste. I have good taste in everything, be it food or-”

men. But he couldn't say that, because then Jimin would pry and well, Namjoon had used all of his lucky chances today. This night he’d rather just admire Jimin and his presence. It ached his heart a little that he couldn't just grab Jimin and kiss him until they both lost their breaths. Life was cruel to him.

“Hyung…”

“Yeah?”

“Most of our classmates at college called us a couple.”

“I-I’m aware.”

“Did you ever think like that?”

Namjoon's heart thumps in his chest, “Like what?”

“Did you ever think about dating me?”

Namjoon turned towards Jimin, his breath hitched when he saw the expression on the younger man’s face. So many emotions flooded through him. Maybe this was his chance. He should just say it all.

“Jimin-ah, I–”

They're interrupted by Jimin's phone ringing. Jimin doesn't pay attention to it, but it breaks the trance between the duo.

“Just um, pick it up. Could be important.”

Jimin pulled out his phone from his pocket and immediately pressed his lips together.

“Who is it?”

“Taehyung.”

Kim Taehyung, their colleague and one of Jimin's many booty calls, but the only one who seemed to have a real connection with Jimin. Namjoon felt his heart shatter at that very moment. Was there something going on between Jimin and Taehyung? Of course it was, otherwise why would Taehyung call him while on vacation? Namjoon really thought for a second that he had a chance, oh what a joke. Jimin was probably just kidding.

“I'll give you some privacy.”

“Wait, hyung!”

Namjoon turned away and walked in long strides towards their suite, not even giving Jimin a glance. Under the stars, two hearts broke simultaneously, before something even started.

When Jimin returned to the room, he saw Namjoon curled up on the couch, sleeping. The younger couldn't help but reach for his hyung. He traced Namjoon's face, but in the air, too afraid to touch the elder. Was he stupid to think something was gonna happen between them back on the deck? Was the twinkling in Namjoon's eyes just a hoax his brain created for himself?

If only he could hold Namjoon the way he wanted to. If only he could chart the constellations he saw in Namjoon's eyes. If only they could be together.

At dinner time, Jimin could sense a weird shift between them. Namjoon was acting distant. They didn't hold hands while walking in the restaurant, nor did they talk much.

Jimin ordered some shrimp pasta while Namjoon got himself a Chinese meal. Usually they'd be sharing the food, but Namjoon had a permanent frown on his face and Jimin felt like a screw up. They just quietly ate their food. Never in all these years of their friendship had Jimin gotten through something like this and it was excruciating.

“Taehyung was just saying-”

Namjoon raised his hand, probably the rudest thing he had ever done, “I'm not really interested, sorry Jimin-ah.”

Jimin was taken aback, but he decided that he could not just stay mum.

“Taehyung was confused about which ring to buy for the wedding.”

Namjoon dropped his fork. Has things really gone that far with Taehyung? When did he even propose? Why didn't Jimin tell him? Why was he feeling like his heart was gonna-

“Wedding?”

“He is planning to propose to Seokjin-hyung.”

Relief washed over Namjoon

“As in our Vice President? They were dating? I thought you both-”

Jimin laughed, “We stopped sleeping together last September. Besides, I was just a rebound fuck for him. He had a fallout with Seokjin hyung. I needed to sleep with someone without any attachments, he was horny and hurt enough to go for it.”

Namjoon cleared his throat, “You never said anything about it.”

“Their relationship was a secret at that time, I didn't want to complicate things any further. Besides, when I'm with you, Kim Taehyung is the least of my concerns, trust me. I like hanging out with you, hyung.”

Suddenly Namjoon felt hot. Blush spread on his cheeks and he couldn't meet Jimin's eyes anymore. His pettiness and jealousy got the better of him. Namjoon was never like this, he'd actually gotten cursed by previous partners for not being possessive enough, but with Jimin, his brain always went haywire. He was crazy for the younger.

They were soon back on the deck, their favorite place, only this time, laying on their backs, watching the stars. Namjoon had loosened up completely now. He was back to being his usual self, the soft, happy, golden retriever boy Jimin was so used to.

“That's Ursa Minor.”

“I really don't get it, you know. How do you guys even understand which constellation is what?”

“It's easy if you concentrate, you brat.”

“No one cares about stars.”

“Say that to dispatch and NASA.”

They both burst into fits of laughter, their bodies rolling towards each other, almost hugging laterally. Jimin gained the courage to gently boop Namjoon's nose.

“What if I did?”

Jimin's eyes widened, “What if you did what?”

“What if the thought of dating you ever came to my mind? Not that it did.”

Lies.

“I think I'd go out with you on one date at least and find out if we were compatible romantically.”

Please be mine.

“Here's an idea.”

I'm desperate.

“What?”

“Let's go on a date.”

“When?”

“We have spa time in the afternoon tomorrow, but that's a masquerade ball at night. Why don't we try being each other's actual dates?”

Please say yes.

“I'm in. It'll be fun. We can go back to what we are anyway. This is just a simulation kind of thing.”

I want it to be real.

“Deal.”

They went back to looking at the stars, too distracted with each other to actually focus on any constellation. This was their only chance, to become each other's, no matter how quirky the situation seemed.

Namjoon and Jimin linked their hands together again, this time, it was just pure muscle memory. Their bodies and their hearts craved for each other, unknown to the waves of turmoil inside the other. Feelings were the same, but the words got lost in their throat, never making it to their tongues.

Only the new morning could bring them hope.

Chapter 2: uncharted territories

Chapter Text

Namjoon and Jimin both wake up with the freshest expressions on their faces, their glows unmatchable. Namjoon was the first one to shower and get ready, followed by Jimin who started a whole concert while showering. They didn't speak a lot, but it was clear how happy they were.

“You look so comfy.”

Namjoon was wearing a loose t-shirt with a pair of gray shorts. He looked relaxed and comfortable. Jimin couldn't help but admire his beautiful hyung. He pulled a sweatshirt on himself and finally they headed out.

The breakfast setup was the same as before, except for some of the dishes. Today, they had a live crepe counter, a bunch of cream filled doughnuts, a chocolate fountain for strawberries and Jimin's favorite, corn dogs.

“There's doughnuts!!”

“Shut up, there's corn dogs.”

“Wow, we're actually acting like a bunch of two year olds.”

Jimin pats his chest, “This heart is young, hyung. Let me be.”

“You're an idiot.”

A comfortable silence settled in as they munched on the delicacies. Good food always brought smiles on their faces, especially if they got to eat their favorites. They were sitting by the pool, watching some of the couples already having fun in the water. Jimin would've jumped in too, if Namjoon hadn't stopped him.

“If you weren't such a hardass, I'd be in the pool, having fun.”

Jimin rolled his eyes, his face in a permanent pout towards Namjoon. The elder smacked his own forehead before flicking Jimin's.

“Ow! You keep hurting me!”

“Because you deserve it. You need to eat proper three meals and not that bullshit ramen you eat after sleeping for fourteen hours straight.”

“Oh please, ramen is therapy.”

“It's unhealthy.”

Jimin mumbled with his mouth full of food and Namjoon just laughed. The younger one rolled his eyes and went back to his food, humming and buzzing from happiness.

“You're so cute.”

“I know. I got it from my mom.”

Namjoon reached out, brushing away the soft hair from Jimin's forehead. Jimin leaned in, feeling giddy.

“You always pull off blonde hair so well. It's as if you were born with it.”

“What's with the early compliments?” Jimin extended the butter knife towards Namjoon, his eyes now narrowing, “Do you want my money?”

Namjoon laughed, “You mean the last thousand won left in your bank account after this trip?”

Jimin chucked a napkin toward him.

“Fuck you.”

“Oh you wish.”

Jimin wasn't sure if he was blushing outside, but his insides were definitely on fire. Namjoon had been a subject of his wet dreams over the last few months. Most of the times it’d be him pushing Namjoon against the glass window of his office and fucking the elder just like that, for the world to watch. Sometimes it'd consist of him riding Namjoon while the elder held his hips.

No matter who topped or bottomed, Jimin woke up with an uncomfortably hard dick anyway. So yeah, he did wish he could fuck Namjoon and then curl up against him to sleep through the night.

“Earth to Jimin!”

“I was just thinking, where do the contents of this cruises’ toilets go?”

Smoothly changed the subject, who's even doing it like him.

Namjoon lightly banged his head against the table, “Where do you think?”

Jimin's mouth widened, “No way oh.my.god.”

“Yah, did you really not know?”

“I did not.”

The whole morning they spent walking around the place, visiting all the facilities they'd failed to earlier. From gyms to a salon, they had it all, even a fancy boutique.

“This place is so bougie. Yoongi hyung would curse at capitalism if he was here.”

“He's probably cursing out capitalism anyway.”

They laughed in unison, “True that.”

The dance studio was lit with beautiful white led lights and it had mirrors on all sides. Jimin felt nostalgic, his brain pushing him to the days when he used to do ballet, life was so much simpler back then.

“You can still do it, you know?”

“Do what?”

Jimin's tone is full of surprise. Did the elder remember that Jimin too?

“Ballet. Or just dancing in general. You had to leave it to support your family but now you earn well, you're in a managerial position. You can start it again.”

Jimin makes eye contact with Namjoon through one of the many mirrors, his expressions unreadable but his eyes moist.

“I don't know. I-I feel like I would fuck it up. I'm afraid I can't even do cartwheels anymore, let alone ballet. Did I lose it all?”

Namjoon takes a step back, “Well you have the floor today, why don't you try it out?”

Jimin raised an eyebrow, his lower lip now between his teeth, Namjoon just nodded in reassurance. Jimin rubbed his feet on the ground before attempting for the first time. He immediately failed and fell on the ground.

Jimin let out a shaky breath.

“Come on Jimin-ah, you can do it.”

Jimin attempted thrice and failed, but then on his fourth attempt he did a perfect cartwheel.

“Oh yesssss”

Jimin finished and immediately jumped to hug the elder. Namjoon was taken aback but he hugged back, his chin now resting on Jimin's shoulder.

“That felt so good.”

“I should print a t-shirt saying I told you so.”

Jimin pulled away and playfully smacked him, but his eyes spoke a different language. He was so grateful that this world has Namjoon in it, he's so grateful that his world has Namjoon in it. Even if they don't end up being romantic partners, Namjoon would still be Jimin's saviour.

Exploring the cruise came to an end as they finally entered the spa. They were handed soft white robes to wear and reach the sauna first. The smell of frangipani filled their senses. Namjoon usually didn't like essential oils but this place had used it moderately, enough to soothe him but not too much to make him sneeze.

The sauna is humid and warm, like they usually are. There were two more couples inside with them, all busy with each other.

Jimin and Namjoon rested their heads against the wall. The elder attempted to reach for Jimin's hands a few times, but then he decided against it, not wanting to push his luck too far.

“Have you thought about what to wear for the masquerade ball?”

“I brought a formal suit. What about you?”

“Same. At what time do we have to go?”

Namjoon smiles, “I'm sorry Jimin-ah, I won't be able to go with you.”

A cold sensation filled Jimin's chest and he could just collapse there. Sweat glistened all over his face as he looked at Namjoon in surprise.

“O-oh?”

“Yeah, I have a date with this guy.”

Namjoon laughed and that's when Jimin understood. Their conversation of last night filled his mind.

“I have a date too, you know. Very charming corporate lawyer.”

Namjoon blushed, but at least he could blame it on the sauna now.

“Ah, I hate corporate lawyers, they all walk like they have sticks up their asses.”

Jimin burst into a fit of laughter.

“You're so-”

“Lovable, I know.”

Jimin looked at him with a soft expression, “Yeah, lovable.”

The duo’s whimpers and groans are borderline pornographic as the masseuses work their expert hands on their backs. Every stress, every knot and every little strain was getting released and taken care of. The ecstasy of being pampered filled their minds and bodies.

“The pastor at my mom's church was wrong, this is actual heaven, ughh.”

“I think I just melted right here. I don't have bones anymore, Jimin-ah.”

Jimin just groaned in answer, the masseuse had her fingers make lines on his spine, sending a warm feeling all over his body. Namjoon on the other hand was drooling on the sheets, the massage relaxing him to no end.

That's how they spent their afternoon, in that soothing and relaxing spa room, leaving all their stress on those folding beds and disposable sheets.

They were back on the deck, walking hand in hand, mind refreshed. The afternoon sun was a little heavy on their eyes, but nothing too uncomfortable.

“We should do this more often, you know, spa days a month, what do you say?”

“Do you want to see me bankrupt?”

Jimin rolled his eyes, “I'm not telling you to bathe in 24k gold for fuck’s sake.”

Namjoon just shrugged in response.

Soon they walked into the restaurant, and got some burgers, fried chicken and fries to eat, paired with some light beer.  Namjoon loved fries so much.

“The massage somehow heightened my appetite. I feel like I could eat everything right now.”

“Same. I don't think I've ever eaten four burgers at once.”

Jimin giggled and Namjoon just focused on the chicken wings to munch on. The younger got reminded of their college days, when they used to bunk classes during winters to get fresh hotteok and then eat it on the benches by the Han river.

In spring, they'd rush to walk on the path of cherry blossoms, just admiring the way nature created a pink carpet on the ground for them to walk on.

What they shared was so special, so much more than what could be caught in the eyes.

“I miss our university days, hyung. The deadlines were stressful, yeah, but we had so much time for things that made us happy, you know?”

“Yeah…our world revolved around soju, good food and deadlines, no touch with the real world at all. I miss those days a lot too.”

“It's funny how I wanted to be an adult so bad when I was little and now, I hate adulting.”

“That's life.”

“Yeah.”

The duo found themselves in the theater room, watching episodes of Pokemon with the most serious expression. Namjoon had his arm around Jimin and Jimin had rested his head on the elder's shoulder.

Namjoon's perfume drove Jimin a little crazy but that wasn't important at all.

Unlike the last day, when they were busy exploring Yeosu, this afternoon was just a lazy one for them. The screen kept running, but they both had fallen asleep like that, their bodies too relaxed and bellies too full.

They slept in each other's embrace like that, still unaware of the mutual affection they shared.

“We're very very very very late.”

“I know hyung, stop panicking.”

Jimin was in the shower while Namjoon was dressing himself. He sprayed some perfume on his pulse points and put on minimal jewelry. Just some basic earrings, and a long chain with a small pendant hanging off it.

He quickly scribbled something on a piece of paper and left it on the bed before leaving. This night was his chance to woo Jimin, this make-believe date could turn into a real one, if he played his cards right, and if the younger man was actually interested in him.

Namjoon walked towards the deck and stood there, with his sweaty palms and a belly full of butterflies.

Jimin dried his hair quickly and styled it properly. He knew he was probably going too far with his looks, but tonight, he couldn't screw up, he had to be at his best. Jimin put on his clothes, just a suit with nothing underneath and some formal trousers of the same color.

Jimin didn't skimp on jewelry either. He wore a bracelet, some rings and two pairs of earrings on his pierced ears. He checked himself out in the mirror one last time only to find a small note on the bed. He pulled it from between the covers and immediately recognised Namjoon’s handwriting. It read ’ meet me on the deck ’. The blonde man smiled to himself and shook his head before finally pulling the card out and leaving the suite. He wasn’t sure about seeing Namjoon yet, but at least he looked good.

Jimin immediately regretted his decision as the cool air hit his face and bare chest. Goosebumps erupted on his skin. He looked at the sky and realized that the weather could go down at any time. The sky was dark with heavy clouds on the verge of bursting. Rain on a cruise journey was common he had heard, now he’d probably get to experience it too.

The walk to the deck is fairly small, but with the nervousness all over his senses and the cool air, Jimin took way more time than usual. When he finally reached, Jimin could see Namjoon’s back from far. He licked his lips and took a deep breath.

“Hyung?”

Namjoon shivered, whether from the cold weather or from Jimin’s voice would remain a mystery. He turned immediately and they both gasped at the same time. Namjoon always had a hard time believing Jimin was real and now that he looked at the younger man, he was certain that Jimin was beyond just a human being. He was ethereal, like those celestial beings his mom used to tell him when he was little.

“You, look…..perfect.”

Jimin was a known smart mouth. Everyone in the company as well at their university knew that they’d never win a verbal war with him, however, at this moment, he was speechless. There were a number of things bothering him, so he’d rather just organize his thoughts.

Firstly, Namjoon was wearing a fucking black turtleneck (Jimin’s weakness in men’s clothing) along with the perfect two-piece suit. His muscular chest could be defined by the material of his shirt and Jimin would drool if he could move his body at all at the moment. Namjoon looked so good and the younger boy wondered if he could just climb the man like a koala.

Secondly, he had this devilish smile on his face that made Jimin blush profusely, which was new because Jimin didn’t really blush and burn like that for others. It was always him being the one to fluster people. Namjoon really said uno reverse .

Lastly, and oh god Jimin could just die at this moment. Namjoon was holding a bouquet. A beautiful - full of pretty roses - bouquet that made Jimin want to drop it to the ground and then kiss the hell out of Namjoon.

“Y-you brought flo-flowers?”

Namjoon scratched the back of his head nervously, “The florist here is really talented and all of this is for free so I thought why not do this date right?”

“Well, aren’t you charming? You look really good too, turtlenecks are your thing, I told you.”

“I don't know, I haven't been to the gym lately. So I feel conscious.”

“You look hot, do not let anyone tell you something different.”

The air was getting much colder than before, Jimin could feel his fingers numbing to the temperature. He rubbed his hands together in an attempt to warm himself up but it didn’t work.

“You’re practically naked.”

Jimin looked at Namjoon with faux anger and covered himself with his arms, “Wow, hyung when did you become such a pervert? How do I protect myself?”

“You’re fucking ridiculous. Can we please go now?”

Namjoon extended his arm and Jimin immediately linked themselves together, walking side by side towards the ballroom. The roar of the sea and Jimin’s heeled boots were the only sounds that could be heard. It was clear that everyone had already reached the ball.

At the entrance of the ballroom, stood Hoseok, with his ever-present smile. His smile widened as he looked at jimin and Namjoon.

“oh my god you two look so good. I feel so single.”

Usually Jimin was not one to engage in small talk but this man seemed genuine. From day one he’d been of great help. Jimin made a mental note to remember and give Hoseok a good tip.

“Thank you, um Hoseok. We are pretty late aren’t we?”

“A little, but no worries,” He pulled out two masks for them, “Wear these and then enter the ballroom.”

JImin and Namjoon grabbed their masks and shot Hoseok cheeky smiles.

“Have fun, gentlemen!”

The ball was way more extravagant than they had expected. A majestic chandelier lit up the entire place along with a few Victorian era lamps which are worth more than Jimin’s annual income. They both looked at their surroundings with wide eyes and equally wide mouths.

“Was this place the set for Bridgerton or something?”

Namjoon chuckled, “That’s how it looks like. I guess Sunshine cruises really don’t skimp on spending money.”

“They’re really good no doubt.”

There was a champagne pyramid right by the bar, it looked so beautiful, a fragile art, for the eyes of drunk elites. Jimin asked Namjoon to wait and walked towards the bar, securing them both two glasses of Sangria . He extended one towards Namjoon who immediately accepted it and bowed like a gentleman.

“Calm down Anthony Bridgerton.”

“You are way too obsessed with that show.”

“It's great, you need to watch it sometime. Listen to my recommendations for once!”

Namjoon laughed, already done with Jimin. It was times like these that made him question himself, why did he even love this goofball? It didn’t really matter because whatever said and done, he loved Jimin more than words could ever express.

The whole environment felt very posh, but the people, the people made it look like a random party. Couples in love, holding each other, drinking and drowning themselves in the music. Jimin stole little glances of Namjoon’s face, closely watching the elder’s expressions.

“The piano guy is really talented, isn’t he?”

“Yeah, it’s as if he and his piano are a couple themselves.”

“Yeah. I used to be that passionate about dance at one point of time, but not anymore. How do we lose touch with the things we love so easily?”

“Your passion isn't gone, you just suppress it.”

Had Namjoon always been this observing? How did the elder know about his deep thoughts? It astonished Jimin a little, but he didn't show it, he didn't want to go deeper, what if it ended up being an emotional black hole? Being vulnerable feared him, but with Namjoon, it seemed easy at times.

There were people circling the dance floor, all holding positions to start dancing. There was a tall man standing by the pianist, speaking into the microphone.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the masquerade ball. Thank you for joining us on this beautiful evening.”

Jimin and Namjoon clapped, their faces cheerful.

“Our pianist, Yoonrae-ssi, has spent his time meticulously creating a tune for you all to dance to. Something sultry and romantic for the lovers here. You will start with your partner and then change partners in regular intervals, hopefully going back to your own partner's arms.”

Everyone looked intrigued, their murmurs filling the ornate room. Jimin and Namjoon put down their glasses on a nearby table and quickly wore the lace gloves provided to them and did a fist five.

“Would you be able to get me back?”

Jimin's tone is teasing, his full lips curled into a smile that never ends up to any good. Namjoon wants to wipe that smirk off so bad. He takes a step towards Jimin, not uttering a word and it makes the blonde man look at him with a curious expression. Namjoon wraps his arms around Jimin's waist, almost in a hug and then rests his chin on his shoulder. His breath ghosts on Jimin's ears and the younger man is sure he's at a hundred degrees right now, his body heating up at Namjoon's gesture.

Namjoon whispered, “ Jagiya , even if this room was filled with Jimin shaped clones, I'd still find you.”

Jimin isn't sure how he should react. There's a hot flush reaching every nerve of his body and then there's a zoo full of butterflies making home in the pit of his stomach. How did Namjoon fluster him so much without even touching his skin?Jimin doesn't utter a word, nor does Namjoon. They just hold hands and take small strides towards the dance floor where the other couples were slowly gathering.

Two rows were created, a mix of men and women on both, standing in front of their partners, with their upper faces covered in bejeweled masks. Jimin looked into Namjoon's eyes, the dragon-like eyes piercing through his soul. Everyone took a small bow before the music started and then joined their arms together, dancing to the melody.

Namjoon felt a little nervous, the last time he danced was at his college farewell. That time, he was drunk enough to just jump to the beats of the deafening music. Today however, it's different. The music reaches his ears like the finest wine at a posh restaurant, paired with Jimin's perfect steps. And the bastard thought he lost his dancing skills.

Jimin spun Namjoon, which almost made the elder fall off, but Jimin catched him and somehow, they got even closer. Namjoon's much taller frame was looking smaller than ever, and Jimin found it to be the most adorable thing in the world.

“Not bad, hyung.”

“Very bad actually, I'm struggling to not step on you.”

“So many at work would die for you to step on them.”

“Huh?”

“It's a gen-z joke. I don't get it either, I just play along with them when they thirst over you at the cafeteria.”

There's an annoyed expression on Jimin's face which makes Namjoon smile in satisfaction. Was Jimin jealous?

“Ah those kids thirst on everyone, don't count them.”

“I don't know, you are pretty hot.”

“You think so?”

“I know so.”

The music suddenly stopped and the lights dimmed. Everyone stepped back from their partners, Jimin took longer than others but no one should blame him for not wanting to leave Namjoon's warm presence of all things.

It was now time for a partner swap. A woman, presumably the same age as Jimin, smiled at him and nervously held his hands. She wasn't a bad dancer, just nervous to be holding someone else and dancing with them.

“Just relax, we all want to be with our partners right now.”

The woman chuckled nervously, “I'm sorry, I just get so stressed. I'm Mirae by the way.”

Jimin spun her once, “Nice to meet you Mirae, I'm Jimin.”

“Unrelated, but I've seen you and your boyfriend together. You guys are adorable.”

Jimin blushed, unable to hold in his emotions after hearing the term boyfriend .

“It's all him. I'm just ken.”

The woman laughed, “I really hope I find my girlfriend soon, I don't know how many more people I can actually handle dancing with.”

It was time for another change of dance partners and this time Jimin got partnered with a woman again. This woman actually danced very well and she looked beautiful too.

Jimin attempted to hold small talk with her, but she didn't really seem interested, so he ended up being silent. The music had a higher tempo now, the click clack of shoes now more frequent in Jimin's ears. He kept himself steady, dancing and spinning his current partner.

One by one he went through three more partners and by the time he was on the sixth one, Jimin's calves ached, his jaw felt tight and his mind was restless, trying to find the familiar sparkle of dragon eyes in this sea of people.

Jimin thinks to himself that he should just go back to the bar and drink until Namjoon comes back, but then the thrill of finally finding Namjoon nudges him from inside. He felt confused, not wanting to dance with strangers any further. Okay maybe one last partner and then he'd move away from the floor.

The dance floor is much emptier than before. Clearly, many had already left. The guy he dances with is a little stiff, probably a little shaky, not everyone feels comfortable dancing. He spins Jimin one last time before Jimin closes his eyes and braces himself for a new partner.

A pair of strong hands wrap around his waist, and Jimin doesn't want to open his eyes because what if he awaits another disappointment. He'd rather keep his eyes closed than dance with another non-Namjoon .

“Yah, I almost thought you left the dance floor.”

It's the same voice that gets Jimin going on tough days, the same voice that he wants to listen to forever, the voice that belongs to the man he loves, Namjoon. Jimin quickly opened his eyes. Namjoon was smiling ear to ear, his cheeks dented by his beautiful dimples.

“Hyung…”

“Dancing with others is a nightmare, I stepped on the last person. Also, my feet hurt.”

Jimin laughed, his eyes disappearing behind the mask. Namjoon looked a little frustrated and all Jimin wanted to do was pull his cheeks.

“We found each other.”

“We did. How are you this fine evening, Jimin?”

“Enjoying my date with this really handsome guy. He's a catch.”

“Well my date has the fattest ass so obviously I won.”

They laughed in unison, their voices mingling together like some duet song. It was now Namjoon who spun Jimin and took the lead in the dance, much to Jimin's surprise.

“I thought dancing wasn't for you.”

“Dancing with others is not for me, with you however, it's fun somehow.”

Namjoon said the raw truth, the kind of thing that he thinks inside but never lets out. Maybe it's the alcohol - which he didn't even have a lot of - that made him so courageous. He pulled Jimin closer, eyes burning through Jimin's existence, drinking in his presence.

“Did I ever tell you?”

“Tell me what?”

Jimin's voice is barely a whisper. He breathes in Namjoon's scent as he hugs the elder and then gets spinned again.

“That you're the most beautiful person I've seen, Jimin-ah.”

How can Jimin differentiate if it's an extended part of their roleplay as a couple or if it's the real Namjoon saying it to him? How does he believe the elder? How does he stop himself from kissing the elder?

They continued dancing to the music, but for Jimin, conflicting emotions were taking over him.

“Hyung I–”

Namjoon pulled him closer, their noses now touching. Suddenly Jimin feels like he won't be able to breathe anymore. His grip on Namjoon tightens and his nails dig into the elder's neck.

They're almost there, Namjoon can already taste Jimin's lips on him, just a little closer and they'd kiss, Namjoon shut his eyes and Jimin quickly pulled away and ran out of the room, leaving a confused and guilty Namjoon to watch him run away.

It had started raining, not too hard but enough to wash away Jimin's tears. He had thrown away the mask and just started sobbing as he reached the deck. His outfit got drenched but he didn't care, his hair got ruined but it didn't matter.

Jimin was terrified, what if Namjoon was just flirting with him? What if the elder didn't actually like him? What if this was all a hoax he created himself?

He stood there like that, letting the rain wash him, wishing for it to drown him just like that. He couldn't do it anymore, these three days brought him closer to Namjoon, but that only heightened his fear of losing the elder.

“Jimin-ah…”

Jimin isn't ready for Namjoon yet, or that's what he believes. He doesn't turn around, he can't, he needs Namjoon to go away.

“Jimin-ah I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, I know I went too far. I'm sorry Jimin-ah, please forgive me.”

Jimin turned around, “Hyung.”

Namjoon looks at him, his eyes full of apologies, “I-”

“The only reason I ran away was because I wouldn't be able to stop if I gave in. Every little touch and every piece of intimacy we've shared, is because I've wanted it too.”

Namjoon wipes some of the water off his face, “What do you–”

“For the past year, your pabo Jiminie has been in love with you, hyung. I like you and I know you don't, so it's alright, but I can't do this make-believe thing, it hurts me.”

Jimin avoids Namjoon's eyes, he can't take it anymore, he's done.

“Jimin ah, I don't like you.”

There it is, heartbreak, Jimin felt like he could die. His legs felt like jelly, he could fall down any moment. He feels a pair of hands on his shoulders. Namjoon used his right hand to lift Jimin's chin to meet his gaze. Jimin's lips tremble, amidst the cold of the rainwater, his warm tears run through.

“I fucking love you.”

Jimin doesn't process it well before Namjoon pulls him and crashes their lips together in a searing kiss. It's messy, a little sloppy with all the water getting in between them. Jimin's hands find Namjoon's hair and he pulls at it, pushing his tongue in the elder's mouth. He bites Namjoon's lower lip and draws a mewl from him.

When they pull away, both their lips are swollen and noses all red.

“Are we stupid?”

“Definitely.”

“Let's get to the room. I can't take it any longer.”

The walk to the room is fairly destructive. Jimin and Namjoon refused to let each other go and as a result, a lot of items fell on the floor on their way to the room. They giggled, but didn't really look back to see if the items were broken or not.

“Get rid of the fucking clothes.”

“Would be easy for you, since you practically wore nothing.”

Jimin rolled his eyes, “As if you weren't gawking at me, pervert.”

“Can't help it.”

They peel away each other's clothes, and find it a little difficult because of the clothes being wet. It's a little irresponsible but they throw the clothes away to the side. Jimin pulled Namjoon to a quick kiss and it brought goosebumps to both of their bodies.

“I've waited so long for you, my hyung.”

There's no pretense anymore, just love with a hint of lust, for each other. Only for each other.

“You have no idea what you do to me Jiminie. I've wanted you for so long, it feels like a dream today.”

Jimin fondled Namjoon's nipples, eliciting a moan from the elder. He then reached down to palm Namjoon's clothed erection. Both of their boxers had gotten uncomfortable and wet, but not just with water.

Jimin sank down on his knees, tugging at the band of Namjoon's boxers before pulling it down and exposing Namjoon's hard cock.

“You're clean I presume?”

“Yeah, do you wanna see a report or–”

“Calm down, hyung.”

Jimin hollowed his cheeks and put Namjoon in his mouth, just letting his cock rest on his tongue. Namjoon groaned, his hands grabbing at Jimin's hair. He breathed out as Jimin pulled out again, suckling on the tip and licking up the pre-cum.

“Ah-shit.”

Jimin bobbed his head up and down, letting Namjoon's cock breach his throat. He looked at the elder's face full of pleasure with his own watery eyes and somehow managed to look smug with a dick in his mouth. He knew he was good at giving head, and if Namjoon's expression was any indication, the elder was getting lost in the pleasure.

He continued his ministrations like that, just drooling over Namjoon's cock and fighting his gag reflex to provide utmost relief to the elder.

Maybe Namjoon was just sexually frustrated from before or Jimin was excellent in blowjobs because the elder already felt close.

“I think I'm gonna cum.”

Jimin blinks his eyes twice and sucks on Namjoon's cock with more passion.

“Do you want me to like cum in your mouth or just pull out?”

Jimin let go of his cock and responded, “Just cum in my mouth and relax for fuck's sake.”

Jimin's voice was hoarse, unlike his usual sweet voice. He returned to sucking Namjoon's cock until the elder spasmed and moaned before coming in his mouth. Jimin let his tongue loll over and took every single drop before finally letting go of the cock with the pop sound.

Namjoon extended a glass of water for Jimin to clear his throat with and the younger man just drank the whole glass before wiping his lips with the back of his hand.

“That was…I don't think I've ever cum that fast in my life.”

Jimin smirked, “Now that's a challenge.”

Namjoon blushed, “Shut up.”

“So how do you want it? I'm good with anything.”

Namjoon licked his lips before saying, “Just fuck me, I don't really like doing a lot...”

“Oh?”

Namjoon pushed Jimin a little, “Do you want me to blue ball you?”

Jimin giggled and shook his head, “Sorry, sorry.”

“There's one problem though, we don't have lube or condoms.”

Jimin smiled and wrapped his hands around Namjoon's neck, pecking his lips.

“Lucky for you, I always carry condoms and lube, just in case.”

“Whore.”

Jimin laughed, “You love me.”

“I do.”

Jimin shuffled through his luggage to pull out a small tube of lube and a packet of condoms. He kept them on the bed and turned to Namjoon, “Lay on the bed, hyung, nice and easy. Relax.”

Namjoon listens to him and lays on the soft mattress, letting his body relax. The goosebumps on his body are still there as he watches Jimin get rid of his boxers. It's safe to say that Namjoon is very surprised.

Jimin wasn't the biggest, but his girth made Namjoon drool.

“Like what you see?”

“I'm just horny.”

Jimin rolled his eyes. He spread Namjoon's legs and gently traced his smooth rim. It was clear that Namjoon waxed and it somehow amused Jimin.

“Fuck–”

Jimin lathered a lot of lube on his fingers and warmed it up before breaching through Namjoon's entrance with his index. Namjoon moaned, his voice music to Jimin's ears. He fluttered around Jimin as the younger man pushed in another finger.

“Nice and easy, hyung, you'd feel so good around my cock.”

Jimin stretches Namjoon like that, eventually pushing his four fingers inside and drawing mewls and cries from the elder. He loved the noises Namjoon made, he wanted to fucking ruin the elder.

“I'm stretched enough, just fuck me now.”

Jimin massaged Namjoon's prostate teasingly, “Are you sure?”

“Y-yes.”

Jimin pulled his fingers out and flicked Namjoon's nipples, leaving a cool sensation on him.

“mmm ughh just put it in already.”

“Aren't we eager, huh?”

Jimin laughed at him.

He rolls a condom over his dick and wipes the remaining lube on it. Jimin pushes into him in one harsh thrust, bottoming out immediately. Namjoon's breath hitched and he groaned.

“M-move, please…”

Jimin's pace isn't the fastest but he hits deep inside Namjoon, pounding into the elder’s heat in the way he deserves it. They both waited so long to have each other that now, they just wanted to hold on, afraid that it's just a dream.

“You're so fucking tight.”

Jimin's hips are flush against Namjoon's, the elder's legs resting on his shoulders as he fucks him like it's their last day on the planet.

“I've wanted you for so long that now that I'm finally inside you, it doesn't feel real.”

“I l-love you so much. I'm not sure this is real either.”

Jimin thrusts into him with more vigor, his cock now twitching inside Namjoon. They fuck like that, filing the room with their wanton moans and the filthy sounds of Jimin's cock inside Namjoon's hole.

“I think I'm gonna come. Fuck. I can't take it anymore.”

“Hold it a little, we will let go together, okay?”

Namjoon bit his lip and tried his best to hold it in. His cock jerked, leaking pre-cum everywhere. Jimin's thrusts had gotten sloppier and soon, Namjoon could feel it, the younger was close too.

Jimin started jerking Namjoon off, and that was the elder's last straw.

He yelped and cried before coming all over his stomach. Jimin fucked him through his orgasm, helping him ride it before finally reaching his own climax. He snapped his hips faster.

“Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.”

Jimin came with a high pitched moan, his cum filling the condom and leaving a warm sensation inside Namjoon. He pulled out and got rid of the condom before laying beside Namjoon, trying to catch his breath.

“That was….wow.”

“I know, I think I saw a few thousand stars.”

Jimin giggled. After a few minutes he got up and then they both cleaned up before putting on their pajamas and curling up in the bed, this time, in each other's arms.

Jimin rested his head on Namjoon's chest while the elder had his arm around him.

“Hyung?”

“Yeah?”

“Will you be my boyfriend?”

Namjoon looked at him and kissed his forehead.

“A thousand times, yes.”

Mistaken waters and uncharted territories brought two pining lovers to finally confess their love. Sometimes, life has its own way to change lives and this was Jimin and Namjoon's story.
