Frisk grabbed his alarm and threw it against the wall.
Frisk got up, made his bed, and ate his breakfast.
lucky walks in.
"You're lucky that I love you, Frisk. so the rest of the week you have no chores, and before you ask, yes, you may go out with your friends but be back at a reasonable time."
“T…t..thank you lu..Mom!” When Frisk let the words escape his mouth, Lucky’s heart broke, she went up to him and hugged him. Back then he never got to say those words.
“Go out and have yourself a good time, son.”
Frisk went to his room to change. When Frisk was putting his coat on. He noticed that there was something under the bed. When Frisk went to see what it was. he was shocked.
“How did you get here?” frisk picked up anomaly 207. Frisk looked around to nothing. He put the mask in his box of wills. Abox was supposed to go to his best friend, Aubrey. Just in case Yang found him.
************
“Get up, make your bed, brush your teeth, play right with no mistakes. Boy’s don’t cry, don’t be one of those fugs.”
That was what his father told him every single goddamn day. But in the end, his moon made him happy.
Mari.
Sunny turned over to see his darling little sister sound asleep. "She must be growing out of that stage of nightmares.”
Sunny got up and went to the music room.
He cracks his hands. And he starts to play his part in the duet.
The song always seems to remind him of his sunflower.
*******************
Kelsey woke up her younger brother.
“Hey, bro wake up, come make some of those yummy pancakes!”
“Kel, sometimes I wonder who was supposed to be the oldest. But I am hungry so I guess I’ll make those pancakes.”
************************
Rowan walks into Basil's room.
“Hey, sleepy head, sunny’s here.”
Basil jumped out of bed.”WHAT! TELL HIM THAT I AM GETTING READY.”
Rowan breaks out laughing.
“Fuck off! Rowan, sometimes I wonder why I have a brother.
*******************
The sun's rays came through the Holes in Aubrey's room.
The sound of beer bottles being thrown.”WHERE ARE YOU? I KNOW YOU’RE THE ONE THAT THREW MY BEER AWAY.”
Aubrey jumped out of bed. She headed towards the latter to pull it up. But it was too late, Aubrey was grabbed by the hair and dragged to the living room.
“WHERE THE FUCK IS MY BEER!?” She yelled. Aubrey could smell the beer from her breath.
She picked up Aubrey from the hair.
“LET ME GO!” Aubrey pled.
“NOT UNTIL YOU TELL ME WHERE MY BEER IS!”
“IT'S LONG GONE,” Aubrey yelled back.
She dropped Aubrey on the floor. And proceeded to kick her in the stomach.
“THE HELL YOU THINK YOU ARE TO GET RID OF MY BEER.”
Aubrey limped back to her room. She put on her clean clothes. And head out of the house.

Mari wakes up to hear the piano playing.
‘Sunny must be practicing’.
Mari grabbed her violin under the bed and headed to the music room.
Mari crept into the room, trying not to disturb her brother.
But he heard her from a mile away.
He spun around to catch Mari off guard, he got up and scoped her in his arms.
“Moring! My beautiful sister! How did you sleep?” Sunny said as he put her back down.
“Alright,” Mari shrugged. She started to unpack her violin.
Sunny and Mari got into their playing positions.
When they reached the middle of the song. Mair had played the wrong note.
She knew it was about to come.
“Mari. my sister. HOW MANY TIMES DO HAVE TO TELL YOU? THAT NOTE IS B FLAT!”
Mari knew that the recital was a lot handle for her brother, but hearing and seeing him get angry always made her scared. it made her cry.
“A..am .s.orry,..m..my..ha…nd..h..hurts.” Mari gasped between her sobbing.
Sunny sighed.”I am sorry for yelling, how can I make it up?”
Mari looked up. And berlted ” GINOS!”
“Of course. Ok, you go get the others while I clean the house.”
Mari headed to her room to change.
“Okay, I am ready. See you soon brother!” Mari yelled at Sunny.
“Hey! Don’t forget your jack-.” too late Mari had already left.’ guess I’ll just have to bring it when we head to Gino.”
***************
Mari headed to Basil and Rowan's house first.
Mari had memorized how Sunny knocked on the door, which made Basil open the door faster.
She heard Basil running.
The swing open.
Basil opened the door, expecting to see his morning sun but to see his little moon instead smirking away as if she had won some type of award. “Mari how many times do I have to tell you to stop knocking like your brother.”
“Well if it makes it up, me and Sunny are heading to Gino! And you and everyone we know are invited!”
“Okay come in while me and the old man get ready.”
Rowan walked in.”I herded that.” Rowan flicked Basil's forehead.
Mari giggled.
*********
“Okay, lead the way, Mari.”
Sunny had Hero and Kel.
Mari had to find Lisa and Aubrey
Lisa always seems to be with Aubrey. They were the best of friends.
Speaking of the devil.
Mari saw Lisa in a big old fluff coat but no Aubrey.
“LISA! HAVE YOU SEEN AUBREY?”. Mari yelled across the street.
“WHAT!?”
“H A V E Y O U S E E N A U R B E Y?!”
“NO!”. Lisa looked both ways before crossing.
“She wasn't at the stop sign we always meet at.”
Mari walked to the plaza.
Maybe Sunny had seen her and they were back at Gino’s.
****************
Aubrey was at Hobbeez. Reading the newest capt. Spaceboy comic.
Not seen after. Sunny, Hero, and Kel had walked into Hobbez. Kel had to beg Sunny to make the pitstop.
Kel had tried to talk to Aubrey.” I don’t talk to losers!” but Aubrey was not in the mood to deal with Kel's shenanigans.
“Well, have you looked in the mirror recently? You look like a pig and your home is probably filled with trash, and you know no one likes pigs!”
Even though Kel didn’t mean those words, Aubrey had thought Kel knew where she lived.
Aubrey started to cry.
Soon the other. Rowan saw Aubrey crying.
“Hey, Aubs. what's wrong?”
She pointed at Kel.
“Kel what did you do?” Rowan kneeled, rubbing Aubrey's back.
Kel expands on what happened.
Rowan got up.
“Kelsey! You are supposed to be the youngest of the oldest. Not picking on others!”
Frisk looked up from the book they were reading.
frisk saw Kel being yelled at.
frisk knew that hand movement.
Rowan moved his hand, he was going to hit Kel on the back of the head.
Frisk got up and blocked the hit.
The slap echoed across Hobbeez
Frisk felt the heat of the hit.
“ROWAN! What the fuck did you do!” Sunny said as he pushed Rowan out of the way
Aubrey noticed something was dropping from Lisa's nose, and everyone did too.
“Lisa, are you alright, you’re bleeding from your nose?” Mari pointed at her nose.
Frisk wiped her nose. he looked at his hand.
B l o o d?
T h i s w a s n ‘ t s u p p o s e t o h a p p e n.
Lisa passed out.
Everything went dark.
*********************
“Fighting is pointless, my child.” the dark rasping voice called
Frisk looked over to see a half-decaying body with Green lights as pupils in empty eye sockets
Bare-bones arms with little tissue.
“W..w..ho are you?”. Frisk felt a goosebump run over his back.
“I am the end, and I have come for you, God of the future.” the masses of flesh started to walk over.
“W…w..what do you want from me?” frisk started to walk backward but lost his footing and fell.
“I want you to serve me as a physical body in this world.” the being was so close to Frisk, that he could smell the rotting flesh.
The being grabs Frisk's arm.
No, later than a second a rainbow shield appeared around Frisk, making the being back laughing in pain.
“YOU’RE NOT WELCOME HERE, LICH!”
Frisk looked up to see a huge blue dragon.
“Get behind me, child.” The dragon moved his wing in front of Frisk.
The Lich moved his hands together.
From here it looked like a small green dot but it grew.
It was a beam.
It stuck to the right side of the blue dragon.
Frisk looked at the wound.
Frisk was shocked to find out that it was healing already.
The dragon looked at Frisk.
“My child you must wake up, this place will eat up a god who does not know how to find for themselves.”
The dragon moved his clew to Frisk’s forehead.
A white light filled the void.
Frisk jotted up.
“She up!” Kel yelled to someone who was rushing to Frisk.
Frisk winched at that name.
‘I’ll come out to them soon.’
“Hey sweetie, my name is Polly. How are you feeling?” the young woman asked as she handed Lisa a hot cup of what looked like tea.
“Alright, I guess just a little tired.”.
Polly turned to Rowan.
“Don’t you have something to say, Rowan?”
“Yes, I am sorry that I acted on impose. I had no right to put my hands on Kel or you.”
Lisa took a sip of her tea. She got up. And started to walk toward the door.
“Just don’t let it happen again.” Lisa left.
After that. Sunny and Mari left, then Kel and Hero, then Aubrey.
“Way the go bro, you seemed to get roasted by a 12-year-old.”
Basil noticed that Rowan was watching them leave
“What's wrong?” Basil jumped out of the chair.
Basil approached the window to see that you could almost see the soleent of a young girl with glass.
“Who the fuck is that?” Rowan turned towards Basil.
Basil opens the door to comfort the girl.
The light from Basil's house showed the girl's true colors.
She had light skin but a little tan with green eyes, hair, and clothing.
But the most somber part was that her clothes were ripped and there were hand marks around her neck.
They spoke with a soft voice.
“Watch him, protect him, and beware of the man who is behind truly playing you.”
In the blink of an eye, the girl disappeared.
Rowan comes back with Polly.
“Where she go?”
“She disappeared.”
***************************
Lisa was walking home when she felt it.
The presence of a familiar person.
A single tear fell from Lisa's face.
“I know you’re watching me, I miss you too. I v y.”
Lisa closed the door.

P i t t e r-p a t t e r,
The sound of rain filled the empty house.
Hero looked over to see what used to be Kel's side of the room.
Hero missed his older sister,
no one knew where she was.
It wasn’t just Kel who dissipated without a word.
After he and Mari found ‘him’, Lisa handed Kel their walkman and their two-sided cassette.
Lisa explained it, as clear as day.
“Okay so each side has different music, one side is Repasant Kel and the other is Aubrey, so when I leave for a while I remember you two!”
Kel left the walkman, but soon his parents started to get rid of all Kel stuff.
Hero was barely able to save the walkman.
Hero had no reason to keep it
So he decided to leave his home for the first time since ‘He left’
He put his coat on and headed to Kim's.
From what Hero remembered Kim and Aubrey became the best of friends after Lisa left.
Hero approached the house.
Hero placed the walkman on the front door.
Hero pressed the doorbell and ran back home.
******************************
Diiiiinnnngggg-dddddoooooooooonnnnnngggg
The bell rang through the house.
Just so happens that Aubrey was at Kim's for a sleepover.
Kim was over Aubrey, they were both berthing heavy almost clothesless
Kim stop kissing Aubrey
“Do we have to stop?” Aubrey whined.
“Yes that could be my parents,” Kim got up from Aubrey.
“Here” Kim handed Aubrey her pants.
“Thanks”
They headed downstairs.
“Aubrey open the door plz while I set the table up.”
Aubrey headed towards the door.
There was no one there, at first Aubrey assumed they were ding dong ditch.
But that wasn’t the case.
Aubrey looked down to see a spray-painted light blue Walkman with cassette tape, one side orange, the other hot pink.
Aubrey looked around before heading back inside.
Kim poked her head from the dining room.
To see tears falling off Aubrey’s face.
“Hey, am right here, Aubs, am right here.” Kim rubs Aubrey’s back.
After what seemed an entered Kim shot her question.
“Why are you crying?”
Aubrey wiped her tears.
“T..th..is…u..se ..to…be..l.on.g…-”
Kim shock Aubrey.
“Aubs get your act together, you don’t act like this. So just breathe, ok?
"Ok”
“Let's head back to my room.”
From afar a Man with white hair watches.

Lisa jumped out of bed.
She was gasping for air
She placed her hand over her head
“It was just a nightmare she reassured herself.
“Looks like you’re already getting your mana.”
Lisa looks up to see three figures with cloaks.
The one who had just spoken took their hood.
He looks like some 12-year-old with dyed blue hair.
Lisa cleared her throat .“Let’s make this quick, I’ve got things to do.”
She summoned her swords.
She moved so fast that they barely had any time to react
Except the one with blue hair
In a snap of a finger, she caught in place with dark blue strings.
That was when she noticed that he had a necklace around his neck. That necklace had one of the most powerful gems in the Realms.
The Blue Gem Of Time is also known as the Gem of the Future.
“Improvise, I will ask again, Lucky, why did.t you report her in?”
Lisa looked over to see the lucky taking her hood off right along with the other girl.
“She just a child, Dipper!”
“We need her.”
“I say we let her live until the right age.” The red-haired girl chimed in.
Dipper thought for a minute.
“No, this child could be one of the missing gods of time. We took her back to the la-”
“Ahem, Dipper, pal, do you remember when you lost your family, your sister?”
Lisa saw a man walk from the shadows.
His hair was white as snow, and he wearing a blue jacket with joggers.
Everyone kneeled before the man.
Dipper spoke up.
“My lord, we might have found one of the missing gods of ti-”
The man cut Dipper off with a single glare.
“I know this young godling, I was able to save her from Yang’s wrath.”
A purple sword materializes in front of the man.
With exact precision, he cut the strings.
Freeing Lisa
Something caught the man's eyes.
It was the drawing that the hero made for Lisa.
He learned from the best of the best sunny.
The man grabbed the drawing from the wall.
“Tell me child who made this painting?”
Lisa chuckled to herself
“That's what I keep telling him.”
“Who is him?”
“My friend hero.”
The man moved his free hand under the drawing.
In insten his hand lit on fire.
The drawing turned to crisp.
Lisa latched at the man.
“WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO THAT?”
“You thank me later.”
The man waved his hand to Dipper and the red-haired girl.
They left the room, leaving Lisa and Lucky behind.
Lucky waited for a minute before she spoke
“Frisk, honey. I am so sorry for what just happ-”
“What did that man burn it?”
“Someone is using dark magic in certain artwork like paper or paintings.”
“But that was a long time ago, we were able to gather most of the magic items in an art gallery. But before destroying them, one of the artworks was pocket dimension. A young girl and man we trap inside. Somehow with God's mercy, they were able to get out.”
“Who and where are they?”
“Who they are not important, Frisk”
“Does this involve Yang?”
Lucky stopped in her tracks.
“Listen carefully, Frisk. Revang is an awful way to live your life, it will leave no room for love.”
Lucky turned around before leaving Frisk.
“You know, you can tell me anything right, frisk?”
Lucky left the room.

[8:00]
grey clouds filled the sky.
Today was the day Sunny had to run some errands in the city.
Mari had begged and pleaded to go with him but when he saw that she was sleeping so peacefully.
He decided to leave her home.
Leaving a little note.
Dear moon
I am sorry to leave you home, I couldn’t bring myself to wake you up.
-your loving brother Sunny.
When Mari woke up, she knew that the worst was to come
She was stuck at home with her father.
In the past, he liked to play games that involved her getting naked.
Mari had told him that it made her uncomputable.
But more recently he also got naked and did things to her.
They would play whenever they were home by themselves
Mari started thinking.
She invites Lisa over for a sleepover
That was the plan.

Mari crept into the dining room.
There lay the telephone.
Mari’s last hope.
She picked the phone up.
She heard a door open.
She knew how heavily her father walked.
And it was him.
She heard the feedback from the phone and dialed Lisa's number.
“Thompson Resditens.”
“I was wondering if Lisa is up for a sleepover today?”
“I think that would be wonderful for her.”
“LISA!”
The lady had to walk away from the phone momentarily.
“Mari, who permitted you to invite people over?”
Her father entered the dining room.
Her father’s words send chills down her back.
“I..ju..ju..just wanted a friend over.”
Her father walked over to her.
He places his hands on her shoulder.
Mari starts to shudder.
“You know that I love you, Mari, more than a n y t h i n g i n t h e w o r l d.”
Mari stomps on his foot.
He yelled in pain.
“I don’t want to play this game anymor-”
It all came down so fast that Mari had no time to react.
Hot tears started to fall, then the heat in that one area was unbearable.
“I guess I have put you in your place, this hurt me more than you.”
Before he could take his belt off, the house was filled with the sound of the doorbell.
“We will continue this later. Now go to your room.”
Mari rushed to her room.
************************************
[a few minutes ago]
“Have fun, frisk.”
“Sure, lucky.”
Lucky closed the door.
“I’m sure that she forgive you.” the red-haired girl reassured.
“Alice, I am just scared that he is going down the wrong path.”
Alice placed her hands on top of Luckys.
“But she has you, lucky, and you’re the most beautiful person I've ever known. If you can’t save him then he lost.”
“Beautiful?” Lucky chucked
“Yes, beautiful.”
They looked intensely in the eyes.
“You know frisk won’t be back any time soon. Wanne go out.”
“I would love to.”< br//> They share a kiss before leaving.
***************
“Hello? Is there anyone home, Mari?”
Frisk peeked through the window.
Saw nothing.
Just as he was about to ring the bell again, the front door opened.
Frisk saw Mari’s father open the door.
“How many times do I have to tell you, Hero, that I don’t want you near my daug-.”
“Oh, I am sorry. Didn’t Mari ask Someone for a sleepover?”
“Yes, that would be me, sir.”
“Plz, Come in,”
“Make yourself at home, I’ll go get Mari.”
******************************
[Mari’s room]
Mari lay sobbing on her bed.
Her father came in.
“Mari, you didn’t tell me your friend that you’re inviting another g i r l.”
Mari looked up in pure horror.
“D..d..do.n.’.t…to..u..ch….h.he…her!”
“Aw, Mari, who said you were ever in control.”
He grabbed her by the head.
Squishing her cheeks.
“We going to have some fun tonight, so wipe the tears, or your friend will get it.”
********************
Lisa started wondering the house.
She entered the music room.
The gride piano.
Lisa removed the cover protecting the keys.
“It’s been a while since I have been in this room, that was so long.”
As Mari and her father left the room, they heard someone playing the piano.
“Mari, does your friend also know how to play the piano?!”
Her father smiled at her.
They made their way to the music room.
To see Lisa playing from pure memory.
“I still got it!”
‘CLAPING’
Lisa turned to see Mari and her father, at the doorway.
“Thank you! Thank you!”
Lisa said as she bowed down.
“I didn’t know Mari was friends with Beethoven!”
“Oh, I am not that good!”
Frisk saw Mari's Aura for the first time in years.
It was black. Usually, it was bright purple. Never black.
Something didn’t feel right.
Mari’s father was, what would be the word to describe him?
Oh, that's it!
A M o n s t e r
Lisa knew how to tell if a person was being R A P E
It has happened to Lisa before.
‘I will protect you, Mari.’
Lisa knew she was being stacked by Dipper or one of the other cloaked people, but her friend needed her help.
Lisa snapped her fingers, and everything around her turned gray.
Mari’s father looked at everything around him.
“What happened?”
Fisk played his walkman.
the music and frisk sang in perfect hormn..
“W.w.h..at..a.re..y..y.ou?”
“Your worst N I G H T M A R E!”
“Please have mercy!”
Frisk summons his swords.
He placed it near Mari’s father's neck.
“Why should I show you mercy? After all the things you have done to Mari.”
His eyes widen in shock.
“You might be wondering how I know, I can see things no one else can.”
Frisk pointed at his eyes.
“I can see feeling, magic, and much more than what you can comprehend, mortal.”< br//> Frisk prepared to swing his sword.
‘SL-’
Something stopped Frisk's sword.
Mare inches away from killing him.
A man dressed in all black grabbed Frisk’s sword.
“Have we met before, child?”
“WHY MUST YOU ALWAYS GET IN MY WAY?”
Frisk chanted some words before her eyes turned bright red.
“NO MATTER HOW MUCH I TRY I ALWAYS REMANDED ABOUT THE PAST, AND THAT I CAN'T CHANGE IT!”
Friskfrisk summoned all his anger into his fist and punched as hard as he could.
But his hand just went right through the man.
Frisk looked up in absolute horror.
“What are you?”
“I am the last loyal subject of hope, but this doesn’t necessarily mean am evil, I exist because I must make sure the world is in balance, I AM THIS WORLDS NOW WHERE KING.’
“Isn’t the now where king a dead horse?”
The man sighed.
“Yes, I just took the name because I liked it.”
Frisk eyes slowly turned back to a light blue.
The man smiled.
“Wipe that grin off your face!”
“My child, I know what pain feels like, but to take out on someone like him would make you no better than him. In the end, she won’t come back.”< br//> The man throws a dart with grayish liquid at Frisk.
“W h a t d i d y o u d o t o m e ?”
Frisk fell unconscious.
“No hard feeling.Kido”
The man pulled out a weird-looking gun.
“Once you wake up, you won’t remember anything about this.”
The man pulled the trigger, shooting out a blue ray at Frisk's head.
A small capsule came out of the gun, and he crushed it with his hands.
After the man was done with frisk, he turned his way to Mr. Suzuki.
“If I would you be dead right now, but this would ruin this world.”
The man in black started to malet into this monster of pure horror.
His voice became colder and waterly-like.
“As long as this kid is here, I will make sure that you never lay a hand on Mari.”
“I am always watching.”
The man snapped his finger, and color started to return.
A faded rainbow hung over Faraway.

Three days until the rectile.
[The Other Night]
A car pulled in front of Sunny’s home.
“Thanks, Rowan.”
“Whenever sunny.”
Before exiting the car Basil grabbed Sunny by the shirt and kissed him.
They looked at each other in the eyes.
“Bye, basil.”
“~~Bye, my sunflower.~~"
Even though Sunny was walking away, Basil knew Sunny was blashing.
When Sunny entered the house, he had expected that Mari would come running.
He hung his coat and headed to their room.
He heard very loud music coming from the room.
The type of loudness that comes from headphones.
When he opened the door he found that Lisa and Mari made a fort, and sleeping away.
“I guess I take the couch!”
****************************
{Three days until the recatle}
Mari woke up to Lisa’s Walkman playing.
‘Let me turn this off.’
Mari felt a huge weight had been removed from her chest.
The words her father said he was going to do.
They never came true.
Mari grabbed her violin and headed to the music room.
Today felt different, today she was going to do better than last time.
When she entered the music room, Sunny was waiting there.
“Hurry up, Mari, we’ll waste daylight.”
Mari flinched, Sunny’s words were cold and harsh.
They started playing.
Barley a minute in, Mari had cut her finger on the bow string.
“Goddame, Mari.”Sunny slammed his hands on the piano
“ Am sorry, I cut myself by accident, let me get a bandaid.”
“just get out my face, I don't want to see you.”
Mari was hurt.
Tears starting to fall.
“I.. I…i.f….y..y..ou…d..d.do..n..’t….wa…n..n.t…t..o..s.s…s.ee..me, t..t..h.an..i..i’ll…r..r.run..away.”
“THEN RUN AWAY THEN, YOU CAN’T GET ANYTHING RIGHT!”
Mari ran out of the room.
“World's number one brother goes to not you!”
Sunny turned around to see Lisa leaning against the wall.
“Do you want to talk about it, sunny?”
Sunny gave her a confused look.
“What would a 12-year-old know?”
“You be surprised!”
Lisa chuckled to herself
Notes:
things are falling in place.
(I have posted a new story labeled Timeline 0, which takes place in the future while this story takes place in the past. Feel free to read in any order.)
Chapter 10: The run away
Chapter by blue J (sanstimer)
Summary:
Ouroboros
-is an emblematic serpent of ancient Egypt and Greece represented with its tail in its mouth, continually devouring itself and being reborn from itself.
A neverending cycle that will repeat itself until someone stops it.

Chapter Text
Lisa sat next to Sunny on the piano seat.
“You know I once had a sister?”
Sunny looked at Lisa with a face of disbelief.
“Don’t look at me like that.”
“Her name was Ivy, she was my younger twin.”
“What happens to her?”
“Our father killed and raped her, then he thought he could do to me, boy, he had another thing coming to him.”
Sunny didn’t know how to process what he heard.
“I am truly sorry for what happened to you, Lisa.”
“I was supposed to older one, what type of brother am I if I can’t protect my sister!”
It had just clicked that Lisa came out to Sunny, the one watching and listening to everyone.
Lisa's face soon was covered with red.
“Uh, sorry I did-”
“Don’t try to hide it, Lisa, I’ve been picking up on the signs.”
“So you’re fine about it?”
“Lisa, you do know I date Basil, right?”
“Okay, what am trying to tell you, Sunny, is you may never know when your time is up, so go find Mari and apologize to her.”
Sunny nodded.
“One more thing, Lisa, your secret is safe with me.”
**********************
Mari ran and ran until her legs could not carrier her anymore.
She found herself at their secret hideout.
There was something or someone there waiting
A man with black hair.
Something about this man made her feel comfort but a familiar presence filled the area.
“good to see you again! fallen star.”
The man pointed at the lake.
Mari walked to the lake to see what he was talking about.
When she looked at the lake's reflection.
She looked older with purple hair with what looked like stars and galaxies in it.
“Soon, I will break the cycle that traps you and your friends.”
“But it will cause great pain and suffering.”
“Well, when I mean by suffering, by the side effects of me breaking the timeline even more.”
Mari didn’t understand a single word the man said, but what he said sounded what Kel would only talk about.
Mari would have to ask Kel about what these words mean.
“MMMMAAARRRIIII!”
Mari turned her head to Sunny running toward her.
They brace in with a hug.
“What were you doing here?”
Mari pointed to where the man was, but he was gone.
“Just thinking.”
“Let’s head home and hang with the others.”
*********************
Yang and Mr. K watch.
but they didn't notice the black gilching that was slowly eating Faraway.
The man in black was about to pull the biggest jail break in history.
Notes:
"Remember, the same outcome will happen over and over and over, maybe when we get tied we chang things a bit, Lisa."

Notes:
Things are not the same anymore.
the timeline becomes more corrupted each time the world changes.
Basil and Rowan are twins. both 14 and Sunny being one year older.
Since Frisk died and Kel, (to be honest, Kel just left without a trace, maybe they are still alive or died?) before The Man in black came. everyone will think that they've disappeared without a trace. so basically not even exist on the other side of the barrier.

Chapter Text
it is said without the mind magic can not exist.
But it is the other way around.
Think about it.
In the beginning, there was only raw magic.
Then magic made the mind, body, and soul of the first five beings.
Then the beings bend and mand magic.
The five beings create the first two types of magic.
To think that all this came from a single dream.
So in retrospect, they can only exist if both parties are one with each other.
While I am on the topic of the mind, there are some things to do to protect the mind.
There will be demons and darkners that will use your deepest fear or take the form of a former loved one.
I have encountered one darkener that can enter the mind of a person.
His name is Bill Cipher.
This man will trick people into dealers with never-ending complaints.
He even tried to get into the realm of Earth but lost form in battle.
He has entered a few of my dreams,
Trying to get me to make a deal, in his words it’s a ‘once in a lifetime deal!’
So after a while, I just started to wear a foil hat.
Then he gave up.
I have a spell that allows one to enter the mind and another one for dreams.
There are two ways to enter one’s mind.
The first way, you will need a white egret orchid,
the sap of a tree,
A picture of the person you’re trying to enter.
Milk of a goat.
Waring for future readers, please, for everything that’s HOLY! PLZ PASTIZE THE MILK!
Ok, grand the white egret orchid and mix it with the sap.
Pour it into goat milk.
Then drink it.
Then, place the picture under your pillow.
Then you are in the mind of that person!
See, even humans can learn simple spells.
But be careful in mind. Sometimes alter egos or fears can be confused with the inner self.
But if a person with a powerful soul, their magic can take the role of their inner self.
While I am on the subject of alter egos, every person has an alter ego, only people who can freely ‘walk’ in their mind meet with the alter selves. People can control or make their alter selves giving them different purposes.
Plus, there can be multiple inner selves.
Fears also take form in the mind.
As long as the inner self is with you, you most likely be safe.
Now to enter one’s dreams one must chant these words.‘Third being of this world, here is my call, I wish to see behind the mask of lies! Let me fellow inside their dream! May my thoughts fellow you in your dreams
Then that will be it for today's entry until the next time this Sans Timer signs off.

thanks for reading!
Chapter Text
[five weeks ago]
Two children have been reported missing, 12-year-old Lisa Thompson and 13-year-old Kelsey Desoto, last seen–”
The words from the T.V. faded as Mari heard them.
Mari rushed to the phone.
Surely this was a misunderstanding, right? Mari had a sleepover with Lisa the other day. And Kel would never leave Hero alone. She always told everyone where she was headed.
Mari dialed Lisa's number.
“The number you dialed does not exist, please try again.”
Sunny placed a hand on Mari’s shoulder for comfort.
“No one could have known.”
Because of this everyone pushed the recital date to find these children.
*************************
[There Day Until The Recital]
“Mari, we need to practice, maybe if we get a good rating, they come back.”
Mari froze in place, Just as she was about to head to the kitchen. “WHAT IN ACTUAL FUCK IS WRONG WITH SUNNY! DO YOU THINK THAT I AM THAT STUPID?HM, HM, Y...OU DON’T C..AR.E ABO..UT ME OR A…NYO...NE EL..SE, JU..ST YOURS.ELF!”
Mari was barely holding herself together.
“ME? ME BEING SELFHIS? AM THE ONE WHO WASTED FIVE WHOLE WEEKS LOOKING FOR OUR FRIENDS! WASTING OUR TIME, OUR PRACTICE TIME TO LOOK FOR THEM!”
” I wish that you were missing instead of them!”
Mari ran to her room, slamming her door. Grabbing a bag, she started to put clothes and money in the bag. She made enough room for her most valuable item, Her telescope, kel and Lisa both knew that Mari was a star gazer and loved to compare them with stars. So they(Kel did the bare mini by paying the shipping fee. ) bought Mari the telescope for her 11 birthday.
‘Lisa, Kel. I will find you and when I do you have a lot of explaining to do.’
Mari ran and ran when she finally stopped, she was behind the Other*Mart.
Mari broke out in tears, crying herself to sleep.
********************************
[sometime later]
Mari felt something poking her face, at first she thought it was Mewo, but heard a rather beautiful voice instead.
“~Hello~?”
Mari slowly open her eyes, blocking the sun light form entering her eye.
Mari saw a young girl around her age, with light brown skin, hair, and eyes. Her eye made Mari think of brown sugar.
“I thought I was the only one to come here to get food!”
“Oh, wait! I didn’t introduce myself! My name is Daphne Baker. And your name is?”
“Mari, Mari Suzuki.”
Notes:
My fav ship is going to be in the next few chapter.
Next chapter will be about Daphne.
I am open to sugggtens on how to plot the story.
Chapter 14: Run away Love
Chapter by blue J (sanstimer)
Summary:
{Backstory: Daphne Baker}
Daphne Baker, youngest and twin to Borwen Baker.
Older brothers: Borwen and Mikhael Baker.
For as long as Daphne can remember she has never felt love for anyone or anything, for example during 3rd grade, Daphne got a Love letter from one of her classmates, she didn’t know how to feel,’ Shouldn’t I feel happy? ‘.
So she turns him down for not knowing how to feel. Daphne always had something with girls, always feeling anxious and nervous (sweat too), and sometimes she’d catch herself staring, taken by the beauty.
So fast-forward a few years, Daphne fights with her father. Daphne figures herself out but it’s a ‘sin’ to love who you love, so she runs away.
Living at ‘The abandoned blue house’, she heads to behind the Other*Mart for food but to her surprise she sees the most beautiful girl she has ever seen.
For the first time, her heart beats and flutters.

Chapter Text
Daphne feels love.
-------------------------------------------
Daphne cleared her throat,” So if you don’t mind me asking, why are you sleeping behind the Other*mart?”
“This is the only place I can hide from my family.”
“If you don’t mind me asking, why?”
“I do mind.”
“Shush, sorry.”
Daphne was pretty alone back at the abandoned house.
‘Maybe she’ll come back with me.’
A loud growl erupted from Mari
“Uhm, do you have any food?’
“Not on me, but I’ve had some back at the place I am staying.”Daphne realized that They didn’t know Mair, in Mari’s eyes Daphne was a stranger. “sorry, I understand if you don’t trust me but I think that we are both in the same boat, I have food and a place where you’re safe but the choice is yours.”
“No, thank you. I am fine here.”
“Okay, I’ll be on my way just know my offer still stands, look for the abandoned blue house.”
Mari watches Daphne walk away.
*********
[few hours]
The sun started to set. The rays hitting Mari remind her what she is in for tonight. A cold night
with no warmth.
No Sunny.
No Kel.
No, Lisa.
And No Hero.
Mari walked into the mellow night.
The next two days would be close to Mari’s heart. But a blur to those around her.
Notes:
So sorry for disappearing for weeks,
been going through to identify ceris.
I'll tell the story of these two love birds in a later chapter.

[1 ½ days until the recitle]
Sunny and the others walk an empty Faraway, looking for Mari.
The weather was going to be harsh for the next few days with rain and hail.
They need to find Mari before she gets herself hurt or worse kidnapped.
There is only one place where he and his friend need to check.
The west side of Farway.
The west side never was a place where Sunny and his friends went because it was just plain out creepy.
There was said to be weird light that would come from the forest of the west in the middle of the night.
Then these weird black bugs always seemed to have it out for Sunny and Hero.
But they noticed it was close when they made it to the entice.
“Sunny,” Basil placed his hand on Sunny shoulder,” We can come back in the morning and look, I think the best thing is that we get some rest.”
Sunny closed his eyes and sighed,” She’ll come back soon, she knows what will happen if she doesn’t.”
Everyone looked sunny with all eyes on him.
“Sunny?” Aubrey pulled his sleeve,” what did you mean by that?”
Sunny looked at everyone with innocent-looking eyes,” I mean that we’ll be greatly saddened by her missing presence.”
Basil pulled Sunny over.
“Sunny, I don’t know what happens at home but I am here for you if you ever need anything.”
“You won't understand.” Sunny words were cold and full of HATE.
“Then help me understand, Sunny.” Basil reaches for Sunny’s hand only to be pushed away by Sunny.

Three Hours ago
Clouds started to form over the setting sun.
Wind blowing hard, trees move as if they were about to be pulled out of the earth.
‘Keep moving’
‘Stop being a burden’
‘Stop thinking all about yourself’
The voices grow louder and louder, Mari looks down at herself, seeing herself as a burden to everyone she knows.
That was when she looked up to see the gates to the west side of Faraway.
“I must have spaced out” Mari muttered to no one.
Mari entered through the gate.
She wondered and wondered looking for that blue house, to no aveAvep>
The night was closing in and Mari needed to find somewhere safe to sleep tonight, a bright flash of light, something about that light made Mari drawn to the old roundabout. Mari entered the wooded area, as soon she stepped into the woods, the area around Mari changed to woods with a small blue house, around it were plants of all types some that she didn’t even know, and the trees all bent to make an open to let the moon to shine on the house makin' it more beautified in color? no aure was the right word.
Mari crept toward the door, Mari took a deep breath and knocked.

Daphne was making her homemade PB&J sandwich when she heard a Rat-a-tat on the door.
Daphne was quick to react, she picked up the knife that had the red jelly.
Daphne looked through the peephole,

Chapter Text
A loud whining and creaking echoed throughout the realms, as days and nights slowly became forgotten. Droughts and no crops were all signs to the man in black to start his plan.
Emma looked at the man in black.” Are you sure this is going to work because the other mechanism didn’t work?”
The man gave a small grin, "If the previous options were unsuccessful, it is crucial to consider this alternative. Without a singular god of time to maintain stability, the world and its realms are at risk of disintegration. Emma, it's essential to understand this dynamic to prevent further chaos.", a my god! He went full-on nerd.
“And grabbing that purple soul out of their timeline is better than what Yang is doing? Don’t get me wrong I want all of this to end too, I died last time and you had to kill the blue-haired kid!" Emma looked at the man in black into his cold black eyes, as she felt sympathy for the girl no younger than Emma, for Mari was about to be pulled out of her timeline.
The Man In Black was engaged in the development of a machine designed to call upon the divine assistance of the god of the present. He argues the moral dilemma of sacrificing a single life to save thousands, emphasizing that once the god of Time is restored, the previous state of things will be reset.
Emma, watching the situation, noticed that The Man In Black had been laboring tirelessly on this machine for an extended period without rest. She is aware that while the machine aims to summon a deity, no single god is as powerful as the combined authority of the Gods of Time, which include the gods of the past, present, and future.
Currently, the status of these time gods is precarious. The god of the past has died, while the god of the future has endured significant trauma, rendered unable to assist due to suffering by Yang. Meanwhile, the whereabouts of the god of the present remains a mystery, with no indications of their existence and all references to them seemingly erased.
Emma kicked the machine softly, regardless of whether she kicked it softly or not, and sent the man in black in a worried state. He rushed to the machine, holding it as if it were his child. Emma rolled her eyes. "This machine is supposed to help find the god of the present?"
"yes, I suspect that they may be lost and require a beacon of sorts. To make their way back to the realms." the man said nerdily way.
Emma sighed and looked at The Man In Black, she had always seen him as a father figure but never knew anything about him.
“Being honest boss…… IneverheardanythingaboutitandItoldyoumylife!" Emma spoke with urgency, her words tumbling out in a rush.
"You want to know my past, kiddo?" The man glanced at Emma and offered her a gentle smile, sensing her curiosity.
"My life story is filled with mistakes, and I’m just trying to change my ways now," he admitted, his voice softening.
Emma puffed out her cheeks, a mix of frustration and earnestness in her young eyes.
"If you’re not ready to share your past, then please tell me this: What is your name?"
He smiled warmly at her; he had raised her well, and she deserved to know who he was.
"My name is Erebus," he replied, his expression kind.
Emma nodded thoughtfully. "Well, Erebus, is everything ready?" Her innocence shone through, and he felt a surge of pride for the girl he had watched grow up.

The wind was howling, and the rain was as hard as rocks, This storm was the worst Farway had faced in years.
Sunny stared out the window, hoping that Mari would appear out of thin air and run back home to her big brother, However, that was not the case. Sunny heard someone approaching; it was Basil.
"Sunny, you tried. I am tired; that's what matters too. Look at the others; they are tired, and so are you. If you could tell me what's going on-"
Sunny shot a glare at Basil, making the hair on Basil's neck shoot up
"NOTHING IS GOING ON!" Sunny said with a hashed voice filled with anger.
Basil scanned Sunny's face, searching for any hint of emotion. Anger and guilt were evident in his expression. However, just momentarily, Basil noticed a flash of fear flickering in his eyes, an exposure that betrayed Sunny's tough facade. It was swiftly masked by his signature cliffhanger face, leaving Basil both curious and concerned.
Basil turned around, curious about the origin of Sunny's sudden fear. Glancing behind him, he spotted a tall figure emerging from the kitchen—Sunny's father—with thick air and unspoken tension.
"Basil! What brings you to visit us today?" His excitement-filled voice was clearly phony, which Basil could easily sense.
The sight of Mr. Sukize sent a wave of fear through Basil, tightening his chest and stirring a disgusting feeling in his stomach. For reasons he didn't understand, the encounter made him feel like he needed to escape the moment, prompting an overwhelming desire to leave the room.
"I'm just talking to Sunny!" Basil said to Mr. sukize while moving towards the door. Basil paused briefly before leaving and added, "In case you didn’t know, Mari is having a sleepover with Aubrey. I thought you should be aware." With that, Basil stepped outside.
Mr. Sukize stood quietly next to Winddow, watching as Basil moved farther away from the house, his footsteps growing fainter on the pavement, Mr.Sukize grabbed Sunny by the hair, yanking him off the couch. Sunny let out a surprised gasp, his eyes wide with shock. Without giving him a moment to react, Mr. Sukize dragged him up the old staircase, the creaking wood beneath their feet echoing in the otherwise silent surroundings.
Sunny kicked and screamed as he was being pulled up the stairs.
"Please let me go; I didn't know Mari was sleeping at Aubrey's. I swear, I don't want to go to the attic again!"
But Sunny pleas were in vain.
" You can think about how you failed to practice for the recital and don't worry Mari has what is coming for her too."
Mr. Sukize said with a scowl, as he closed the attic door.
Darkness is all Sunny could see.
Before he slips into unconsciousness.

Daphne grabbed Mari by the collar.
Mari tumbled inside the house, and Daphne closed the door.
"Hello, didn't expect you to actually come!"
Daphne walked to a small wooden table in the living.
The house looked like it had seen better days, there were a few holes in the ceiling nearly the size of a golf ball. The house had a light grayish-blue color similar to Basil's house very identical with a wall separating the dining room and kitchen, which was made with an opening in it.
"Don't worry, whoever lived has left a long time ago."
Daph explained how she found the place when she first ran away from home. It was a few months ago when she and her father had an argument about how Daph felt about her father's control over her life. Her father said he would throw her out of the house and Daph did him the favor of leaving, she ran and ran until she stumbled upon the house,
" There's something to this place!" Daphne said as she grabbed Mari by the shoulders
Daphne leaned in next to Mari's ear. Mari's heart started to race, and she felt the heat rise to her cheeks. No one had ever made Mari feel this way toward anyone before.
"Do you believe in magic?"
Daphne leaned back and stared into Mari's eyes,
Mari's thoughts bounced inside her head, leaving her face with flash cheeks and an anxious look.
'her eyes look like brown sugar'
'magic? That is just a fairy tale.
'but do I want to hurt her feelings?'
'focus Mari !'
Daphne reassured Mari, "It's okay if you don't believe." As Daphne spoke, she placed her hand on Mari’s shoulder, She then posed a question to Mari: "If I were to show you something that could make you believe, would you want to see it?" Daphne adopted a serious expression, emphasizing the importance of her offer.
In response, Mari, overwhelmed with curiosity, began to stutter, exclaiming, "Y-y-yea, I w-would like that!" Her undying love for Daphne was evident as she practically raised her voice.
Daphne playfully reprimanded her, "Geez! You didn't need to yell, just follow me," and she gestured for Mari to join her as she walked toward one of the three rooms in the house. Notably, the door to this room stood out; it was made of metal, designed to deter unwanted entry, unlike the wooden doors elsewhere in the home.
Upon opening the door, they were greeted by a surreal sight: various items floated around the room, amidst a display almost a duplicate of the "Capt. Spaceboy" comic. Among these peculiar objects, one stood out—a Polaroid photo.
As Mari picked up the photo, ignoring Daphne as she spoke,a wave of unease washed over her. She recognized the familiar figures in the image, and a sinking feeling settled in her stomach. The photograph was not taken by Basil but by Sunny, capturing a moment at the hideout after a flower crown-making session followed by a picnic. Basil had gifted this photo to a girl named Lisa, intending to provide her with a tangible memory for when she felt lonely.
However, the condition of the house struck Mari as odd; it appeared neglected and abandoned as if it hadn't been lived in for years. This contradiction raised several questions for her: Why was Lisa's living space in such disarray? What had happened to cause this unsettling transformation?
“Who’s that?” Daphne whispered over Mari’s shoulder.
“An old friend,” Mari said

Chapter Text
Mari's gaze lingered on the photograph, a bittersweet mix of nostalgia and sorrow washing over her. Each detail seemed to spark flashes of the past, memories that danced in her mind like flickering shadows. Daphen's relentless questions only intensified the emotions bubbling beneath the surface. Mari's heart weighed heavily as she thought about Lisa, a friend who had illuminated her life in the darkest of times.
The memories flooded back: the bustling halls of middle school, filled with laughter and an infectious energy that seemed to bind them all together. Lisa was the winter star. She effortlessly drew people into her orbit, creating a vibrant tapestry of friendships that felt almost magical. Mari remembered how she'd shared laughter and secrets, how those moments had mended the loneliness she sometimes felt. Yet now, in the comfort of those memories, there was a profound ache, a realization of how deeply intertwined their lives had once been.
Mari could not say goodbye to Lisa, as she had gone missing just a few weeks before. Despite the short time frame, it feels as though much longer has passed since her disappearance.
Daphne, sensing Mari's need for solitude, turned to her with a soft smile. "Take all the time you need, Mari," she said gently. "I promise I won't ask any more questions." With that, she stepped back, allowing Mari to immerse herself in her thoughts and the enchanting environment that surrounded her.
In this dimly lit room, filled with an eclectic mix of advanced technology and whimsical artifacts, Mari stood mesmerized by the assortment of magical, floating devices that danced gently in the air. The walls were lined with intricate blueprints, each detailing futuristic inventions that seemed to blur the line between science and sorcery. Shelves crammed with unrecognizable tools and gadgets added to the atmosphere of wonder and curiosity.
Mari scanned the room, looking for anything Lisa might have left lying around to see what had happened to her. Something caught her eye: a cassette player.
Mari approached the damaged cassette player and noticed that, while the player was
In disrepair, the cassette inside was still intact. She decided to examine the cassette more closely.
"Play Me" was written on the cassette.
Suddenly, there was a 'thud.'
Mari turned around to see a purple staff rolling toward her. She walked over, picked it up, and inspected the staff. Mari observed that it was adorned with star constellations. Though the staff had seen better days, the patterns engraved on it all seemed to originate from a single star. This particular star was the most detailed; it was four-pointed.
Mari noticed that it was a button and, driven by curiosity, pressed it. To her surprise, the staff collapsed, transforming into a pocket-sized version.
"Why would Lisa have all this?" Mari wondered aloud, her mind racing with possibilities, but nobody answered.
"It doesn't make sense," she thought, feeling a mix of confusion and curiosity.
Determined to uncover more, Mari decided it was time to explore further. As she moved toward the door, her eyes caught something intriguing.
In the corner of the room, near the door, there was a present adorned with little yellow stars that seemed to shimmer with potential. Mari approached it, excitement bubbling as she inspected the mysterious gift. She shook it gently, her heart racing as she looked for a name, but found nothing. The anticipation grew stronger, filling the air with possibilities. Finally, unable to contain her curiosity any longer, Mari decided to open it, eager to discover what awaited her inside.
Mari picked up the gift and took it to the living room, where Daphne was thoroughly enjoying her PB& J.
"Whatchagottherepal?" Daphne mumbled as she chewed on a mouthful of peanut butter and jelly.
"I found this gift box in the study room. We could open it," Mari said, her eyes sparkling excitedly.
Daphne swallowed her bite, her curiosity piqued. "Are we about to unwrap something amazing or something completely weird?"
"Only one way to find out!" Mari grinned, eager to dive into the mystery.
"Let's just hope it's not a creepy porcelain cat," Daphne chuckled, wiping her hands on her shirt.
As they settled down next to the present, Mari asked, "So, which of us is going to open it?"
"I think you should open it since you found it," Daphne replied matter-of-factly.

A sudden, sharp, piercing sound erupted in Mari's ear, l. She instinctively covered her ears with her hands, desperately trying to block out the unsettling noise. As the sound reverberated through her head, a wave of nausea rolled over her, making her stomach churn uncomfortably. Mari's heart raced as she struggled to steady herself, overwhelmed by the moment's intensity.
Mari rushed to the restroom in a desperate attempt to avoid vomiting, but it was in vain. She recalled the food she had eaten earlier. Daphen quickly rushed to her aid, but the loud noise made it impossible for Mari to hear what Daphen was saying. The sound seemed to be coming from straight ahead, so Mari lifted her head to see what it was. To her surprise, a worried-looking woman stood there; she was the source of the noise and seemed to be trying to talk to Mari. Just then, Mari passed out.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Friska Timer was her name. She was the daughter of Sans and Chara Timer and the sister of her troublesome sister, Yang. Friska couldn't remember how she had ended up in this situation. As a ghost, she felt an overwhelming sense of isolation, drifting through the world without a purpose. But amidst her loneliness, she discovered a glimmer of hope—there was someone who could see and hear her. Yet, in her desperate attempts to connect, she inadvertently caused pain to the young girl. That realization weighed heavily on her heart, deepening her sorrow and longing for a way to reach out without causing harm.
"Maybe if I enter her mindscape, I could talk to her?" Friska thought. It was worth a shot, right? At that moment, she wasn't sure anymore.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Daphne didn't know what had just happened. One moment, she and Mari were about to open a strange present that Mari had found, and the next moment, Mari was on the ground, covering herself. Daphne was confused about what had occurred. Then, Mari ran to the restroom and ended up vomiting on the floor before passing out.
Daphne quickly cleaned up the mess and carried the unconscious Mari to one of the spare rooms, where she placed her in bed. Now, Daphne sat in the living room, pondering the unfolding events. Surely Mari would be all right. Deciding to have Faith in Mari's speedy recovery, Daphne resolved to open the present herself.
When Daphne unwrapped the present, she discovered an expensive telescope inside. Upon inspecting the telescope further, a note unexpectedly slipped out.
Daphne inspected the note, which was labeled for Mari...?
Daphne left the note alone for now, deciding it would be better to open it with
Mari.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The wind gently brushed against Mari's face, and bright rays of sunshine filtered through the canopy of the trees, casting a golden glow that danced on the ground. "Maybe everything would be better if I just gave up," she thought, a heaviness settling in her chest. Mari felt exhausted—tired of the monster lurking in her mind, missing her friends, weary from life's relentless challenges, and troubled by a strange, ghostly presence that seemed to whisper in her ear.
Just then, a voice broke the silence, ethereal and enchanting.
"̸W̷i̶n̷n̷e̴r̶s̴ ̸n̷e̴v̷e̸r̶ ̸q̶u̴i̸t̷ ̵a̷n̴d̵ ̸q̷u̷i̵t̶t̸e̵r̷s̷ ̴n̶e̷v̴e̴r̵ ̶w̵i̵n̴.̸ That's what I've been told, at least. What do you think, Mari?"̴ ̸
The familiar ringing sound filled the air, but it was no longer a screech; it transformed into a soft melody, reminiscent of a mother's comforting tone. Each note wrapped around her like a gentle embrace, guiding her to open her eyes. When she did, she could hardly believe what she saw.
The same woman from earlier sat before her, bathed in radiant sunlight that flickered like fireflies around her. She was cross-legged on the lush grass, which shimmered with a vibrant glow as if sprinkled with stardust. The air was thick with warmth and magic, swirling gently around Mari, encouraging her to let down her guard.
The woman smiled, her eyes sparkling with an otherworldly light. As she reached out a hand, Mari could feel an unseen energy blooming between them, a connection woven through the fabric of time and space. It was as if the universe conspired to bring comfort and hope back into Mari's life.
Soon, the energy swelled, expanding to envelop the entire area in a mesmerizing spectacle. Mari glanced around and realized that she was generating a subtle glow of lighter purple energy, in stark contrast to the deep, dark purple aura surrounding the other woman. The atmosphere crackled with magical intensity, leaving Mari in awe of the forces at play.
When the two made physical contact, their magical energies intertwined. Mari felt a profound sensation as the woman's energy permeated her being. It resulted in a painful reaction throughout her body, causing her to fall to the ground. The woman subsequently withdrew her energy from Mari, making her gasp for air.
"I apologize, young one. I sense a significant magical energy within you. I initially believed you could manage my power, but it seems your soul may not be prepared for it at this time." Mari was confused. Was all of this otherworldly, or was she simply dreaming? She wanted to hold onto the hope of escaping the dreadful reality she called home, but why should she trust a stranger—even one who seemed friendly? Before Mari could respond, the lady spoke again. "Oh my, it seems we got so carried away that we forgot to introduce ourselves. I am the goddess of mana, but my family calls me Friska. What is your name?"
Goddess?...
Mari was flabbergasted; her dreams typically corresponded with her dream versions of her friends. Upon reflection, Mari realizes she is not in her familiar white space. The goddess, noticing Mari's panic, reassures her by stating, "It's alright, Mari; we are still in your little room." With a snap of her fingers, the vibrant surroundings—trees, grass, and bright sun—transition into a vast expanse of white. After this change, Mari takes note of a door in the distance, prompting a sigh of relief as she processes the situation.
"Am I dreaming?" Mari was sure that this was not part of her dream.
"Yes and no. We are in your mind, but you are unconscious, so it's somewhat true. However, explaining that is a topic for another day. Mari, I am in desperate need of help. What do you say?" Friska extended her hand, ready for a handshake. Mari's thoughts were racing, but in the end, her instincts took over, and she shook the goddess's hand, and she disappeared.
Mari knew what to do next; she pulled out a stake knife and stabbed herself.
Mari woke up.

{somewhere else}
He was watching as his home fell apart, and his family was torn apart and manipulated.
It devastated him to witness this.
But he saw two individuals preparing to fix the world.
They were opening a portal for him.
He let out a sigh, knowing there was a chance it might not work... unless he helped out. Rather than relying solely on a soul, he had a better idea, but he needed to wait.
So, the Prophet had awakened and was ready to restore balance.
Notes:
Wow! I wonder how that might be?
p. S. 2K words! What! When did that happen?
