Come on, get involved

Summary:

Prompt from otpprompts on Tumblr:
Person A sings the second verse of “Sing” by Ed Sheeran and Person B is just confused for the first few parts then Person A sings “One thing led to another now she’s kissing my mouth” then gives person B a quick kiss on the lips and runs away. (Bonus if person B eventually catches person A leading to a heated make-out session)

Notes:

Title from “Sing” by Ed Sheeran for obvious reasons.

Work Text:

Yuu has been known to behave strangely once the alcohol kicks in. Mika has had to endure numerous nights of Yuu trying to dance naked in front of other freshmen (despite the goading and cheers from the crowd, there was no way that Mika could let anyone else see Yuu naked), telling everyone and even inanimate objects he loved them, or getting into stupid arguments. Dancing on top of tables was an act that Mika has long gotten used to.

Mika is downing another shot of tequila when he notices that Yuu has been singing loudly for a minute or two now. It sounds like it’s in English and coupled with a different song pumping out from the speakers, it’s difficult to make out the words.

Mika returns to their table just in time to witness Yuu jumping down from it. Yuu lands right in front of Mika. He continues to sing, horribly out of tune:

“I'm in deep shit if anybody finds out
I'm meant to drive home but I've drunk all of it now, not
Sobering up we just sit on the couch
One thing led to another
Now she's kissing my mouth.”

Yuu grabs Mika’s shoulders and pulls him in. Before Mika can fully anticipate what is about to happen, he can feel Yuu’s soft, wet lips touch his for a second. Despite how short the kiss lasted, he can still taste various alcohols left on his lips. Yuu all but shoves Mika away and jets off, disappearing into the crowd.

“Yuu!” Mika yells after him. He doesn’t get a response as expected. There are people whispering and pointing at him but he ignores them for the moment. That idiot Yuu could be anywhere! He had better not be outside because the last time Yuu tried to go home alone after a night out, he got seriously lost and had to call Mika for help.

Tonight must be a lucky night for Mika, however, since he manages to spot Yuu standing at the far corner off the dance floor. Thankfully, Yuu isn’t holding a drink in his hand, nor is he making a fool out of himself.

“Hey, Mika,” Yuu greets him with a bright smile.

“Yuu-chan,” Mika returns the smile, although his smile probably isn’t as innocent as Yuu’s, “you can’t just do that.”

“Do what?” Yuu challenges.

“You need to take responsibility for your own actions, y’know,” Mika answers, ignoring Yuu’s question. He stands in front of Yuu with one hand on the wall and other on Yuu’s shoulder so that he can shield Yuu from possible onlookers. Yuu closes his eyes obediently as Mika leans in for a kiss.

Unlike Yuu’s previous kiss-and-run, Mika keeps their lips together longer. Yuu’s hands come up to Mika’s ass, pulling Mika in closer and closer until he has choice but to lean his weight on Yuu. Mika takes that as an invitation to run the tip of his tongue along the seam of Yuu’s lips, who puts up a resistance for a few strokes. Yuu’s grip on Mika’s ass tightens when Mika takes Yuu’s bottom lip between his lips and suckles on it lightly. Mika doesn’t miss a cute little moan that slips out, especially when their hips are rocking together in a lazy rhythm. The blonde trails his hand up the side up Yuu’s neck until his thumb can reach Yuu’s cheek. He caresses Yuu’s cheek, his jawline, and the corner of his mouth randomly while keeping up with their kiss.

When Mika can’t ignore the shortage of air, he kisses his way down to Yuu’s neck instead. He loves hearing Yuu’s breathing grown even more ragged as he kisses, nibbles on, and lightly sucks on various spots along the exposed skin of Yuu’s neck and shoulder. Yuu’s fingers find their way to Mika’s hair and grips it, occasionally tugging on the ends to send sparks of odd pleasure down Mika’s spine.

Mika is about to resume kissing Yuu’s lips when Yuu shoves on his shoulders for the second time tonight.

“I think we should go home,” Yuu suggests, his voice still shaky.

Mika smirks. “Home it is.”
