The Traumatized Omega Episode 1

Summary:

Wednesday has come to Nevermore. There she encounters mystery, murder, and her omega mate.

Will she accept her or deny her?

Chapter 1: Disclaimer

Chapter Text

Stop: Read this before reading the story!

I do not own Wednesday.

MGM/Amazon owns the show, but we should thank Al Gough and Miles Miller for the concept of the show.

Also, I am not going to go into the visions all that much, so I am going to put in a line break. I'll probably only do the more relevant ones.

Chapter 2: Wednesday's Child Is Full Of Woe

Summary:

Wednesday was expelled from school, from putting piranhas in the school pool during practice. Now, she is sent to Nevermore.

Notes:

I hope I can do this one justice.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Narrator's  POV

I'm not sure whose twisted idea it was to put hundreds of adolescents in underfunded schools run by people whose dreams were crushed years ago... but I admire the sadism.

We see a girl walking down a school hallway, with everyone parting ways in fear and disgust. They could sense the power from this tiny alpha. This alpha is known as Wednesday Addams. With each step is a purpose, she wants them to fear her. The thought makes her smirk internally. After a while, she saw some jocks walking away from a locker, laughing. She walked up to the locker and heard some whimpers coming from it, whimpers that she knows. She opens the locker to see her brother, Pugsley. After the locker was opened, Pugsley fell with a thud.

Wednesday's POV

"I want names," I told my brother emotionlessly. These people need to know that only I was allowed to torture my brother, I thought in my head.

"I don't know who they were, honest." Pugsley replied with a scared voice, "it happened so fast,"

"Pugsley, emotion equals weakness, pull yourself together, now," I told him sternly, he whimpers. He really needs to learn this, if he wants to survive the real world. I went to untie him, when I went into one of my visions.

~Line Break~

I came out of the vision, which thanks to it, I now know who did this to my brother. It was Dalton, and his stupid jock friends.

"You okay," Pugsley asked me with a worried tone.

I'm not about to confess to my brother that I've recently been plagued by visions. The come on without warning, and feel like electroshock therapy, but without the satisfying afterburn.

"Leave this to me," I told him, getting up to put my plan into action.

"Wednesday, what are you gonna do," my brother asked me. I stopped to look at him, contemplating telling him, but decided not too.

"What I do best," I told him, then walked off.

Non, rien de rien.

"Yo, Dalton, look," Dalton's friend # 1 said pointing towards me, "Pigsley's sister."

"Hey, freak, this is a closed practice," Dalton told me, with a smirk. Everyone smirked at this and laughed.

"The only person who gets to torture my brother is me," I told everyone with a harsh tone, raising two bags with piranhas in them. Everyone lost their smirks and looked at me with fear. I released the bags into the water, and everyone frantically swam to get to safety.

Non, je ne regrette rien. Car ma vie, car mes joies. Ca commence avec toi.

It was chaotically beautiful, nothing will top this. I slowly smirked in satisfaction. If I wasn't so adversed to it, I would be laughing right now. Though, as I watch the chaos happening, I knew that would be getting expelled for this.

~Line Break~

I close my eyes. Then I drift away.

My parents were singing again, and it greatly disgusts me of how much emotions they are showing.

I softly say. A silent prayer. Like dreamers do. Then I fall asleep to dream. My dreams of you.

I cringed at them, they really need to learn some self-control. This is why I'll never find love/mate. It all seems pointless.

I remember. That you said goodbye.....

"Mmm," my mother sighed happily after kissing my father. My father did the same. I rolled my eyes at them.

"Darling, how long do you intend on giving us the col shoulder," my mother asked me.

"Lurch, please remind my parents that I'm no longer speaking to them," I replied back. Lurch just grunts.

      "Hmm," she hums back.

"I promise you, my little viper, you will love Nevermore," my father tried to reassure me, though he was failing, "won't she, Tish?"

"Of course," she said, "it's the perfect school for her."

"Why? Because it was the perfect school for you," I shot back," I have no interest in following in your footsteps. Becoming captain of the fencing team, Queen of the Dark Prom, President of the Seance Society."

"I merely meant that finally you will be among peers who understand you," My mother told me, and then she said something I want to protest against, " maybe you'll even make some friends."

"Nevermore is like no other boarding school, it's a magical place," my father said, "it's where I met your mother, and we fell in love."

"You guys are making me nauseous, and not in a good way," I told them with disgust in my voice, yet with my face blank.

"Darling, we aren't the ones who got you expelled. That boy's family was going to file attempted murder charges," she told me, "how would that have looked on your record?"

"Terrible, everyone would know I failed to get the job done," I said, seething that Dalton is still alive.

"Hmm," my mother just hummed, and that was it for our conversation.

~Line Break~

Narrator's POV

Now we see a truck driving by the Addams hearse.

"Just over here is fine, thanks," a man said to the driver.

"You sure you want to get out here," the driver asked, "the trail might look pretty, but it runs right past Nevermore."

"That school for outcasts," the man asked.

"Huh. That's a polite way of putting it," the driver replied.

"I never had a problem with outcasts," the man informed the driver," my counselor at summer camp was a werewolf. Great guy."

"Yeah, they're just like you and men," the driver said trying to scare the man, "until they rip your throat out."

"Thanks," the man chuckles wryly. He got out of the truck and hiked on the trail. He hiked for a while until he found a good spot to take a break. He was just relaxing, when he heard noises coming up from in front of him. He looked up, only to scream in a panic as he saw something running towards him and attack him.

Wednesday's POV

It started to rain. This puts me at ease a little bit. Oh, how I love the rain, I thought.

"At least it's turning into a beautiful day," my mother seems to agree with my internal thoughts. We pulled up past the gates to Nevermore academy. I already hate it. I stare at it in disdain.

~Line Break~

"Wednesday is certainly a unique name," the principle, Larissa Weems said to me, "I'm guessing it was the day you were born?"

"I was born on Friday the 13th," I corrected her.

"Her name comes from a line from my favorite nursery rhyme," my mother informed, "Wednesday's child is full of woe."

"You always had a unique perspective on the world, Morticia," Weems told my mother with a playful tone. Though I did hear a little resentment. Wonder what happened between them, I thought.

"Hmm," my mother hummed in agreement.

"Did your mother tell you we were roommates back in the day," Weems asked me.

"And you graduated with your sanity intact," I asked, "impressive."

"You've certainly had a very interesting educational journey," Weems told me, looking through my file, "eight schools in five years."

"They haven't built one strong enough to hold me," I informed her, " I bet this place won't be any different."

"What our daughter is trying to say, is that she greatly appreciates the opportunity," my father tries to say. I really want to roll my eyes at his attempts to get me to stop.

"Nevermore doesn't usually accept students mid-term, but given Wednesday's perfect grades," Weems said, still looking through the files, "and your family's history with the school, I've spoken with the board and we've made an exception."

I didn't really like how she was able to make me an exception, as I really didn't want to attend this godforsaken school. I can already feel myself getting irritated by this school.

"Larissa, what about Wednesday's, um, therapy sessions," my mother asked in concern, "the court ordered them."

"Hmm. The school has a relationship with a therapist in Jericho," Weems replied, "she can meet twice a week, with another student, Y/N Y/L/N."

Great, not only do I have to go to therapy made by the court, but have to go with another student.

"Did you hear that, my little storm cloud," my father said, looking at me, "you're in excellent hands."

"We'll see if she survives the first session," I said, looking at him.

"I've assigned you to your mother's old dorm," Weems said looking at me, "Ophelia Hall."

My mother then gasps in enjoyment, and then chuckles.

"Refresh my memory," I said, looking at my mother, "Ophelia's the one who kills herself after being driven mad by her family, correct?"

My mother nodded her head, looking at me with joy. Ew, I thought seeing the emotions in her eyes.

"Should we go meet you new roommate," Weems said standing up. We all stood up and followed her to Ophelia hall, which took a while. Though, at one point I smelt a scent that resembles my typewriter ink. I wanted to follow it, but resisted. I have self-control, I thought to myself, still walking with my family and Weems. We finally made it to my new dorm room. My mother gasped at the bright colors when we went into the room. Great my roommate is colorful, I thought with disdain.

"It's so... vivid," my father said, hesitantly. Then, a colorful person jump up from her chair and skipped up towards us. Not only is she colorful, but also very energetic. This is not going to go well for me.

"Howdy, roomie," she said, inhaling excitedly.

"Wednesday, this is Enid Sinclair," Weems introduces us, though I really didn't care, but I did keep this information in case she becomes valuable in my escape.

"Are you feeling okay," Enid asks me, "you look a little pale."

"Wednesday always looks half-dead," my dad said, looking at Enid like she has two heads.

"Oh. Welcome to Ophelia Hall," she told me, walking up to me for a hug, which I stepped back so she wouldn't, "not a hugger. Got it."

"Please excuse Wednesday," my mother told Enid, "she's allergic to color."

"Oh, wow," Enid said, a little scared, "what happens to you?"

"I break out into hives and then the flesh peels off my bones," I replied flatly. She looks grossed out by what I said, which I took satisfaction in.

"Luckily, we've special ordered you a uniform," Weems said chuckling a little, "Enid, please take Wednesday to the register's office to pick it up along with her schedule, and give her a tour along the way."

I turned around and looked at my parents with disdain. I then proceeded to walk out of the room, hearing my roommate skipping behind me. I already feel exhausted.

~Line break~

"Nevermore was founded in 1791, to educate people like us," Enid said as we walked down the stairs, "outcasts, freaks, monsters, fill in your favorite marginalized group here,"

"You can save the sanitized sales pitch," I told her stopping in front of a case with pictures in it, "I don't plan on staying here for long."

      "Why not," Enid asks.

"This was my parent's idea," I told her, when a photo of my mother caught my eye, "oh look, there's my mother smirking at me. They've been looking for any excuse to send me here, it's all part of their nefarious, yet completely obvious plan."

      "What plan," she asked.

"To turn me into a version of themselves," I replied looking at her.

"In that case, perhaps you can clear something up," she told me, turning around with me to continue on walking, "rumor's been swirling around that you killed a kid at your old school, and your parents pulled strings to get you off."

"Actually, it was two kids, but who's counting," I asked, and she looked scared. I almost smirked at that.

"Welcome to the quad," she said when we walked into a common place. It's a pentagon, why is she calling it a quad, I thought.

      "It's a pentagon," I replied flatly.

"I t-t-t-told you E-e-e-enid," someone said behind us. I turned, to see a beautiful omega. I can tell by her scent, but another thing from her scent is that she smells like my typewriter ink. My alpha perked up at the sight and smell of her, which means one think. This omega, is my mate. Another thing about this omega is that she seems to be timid. This causes me to be more alert with her all of the sudden. Did someone hurt her, I thought, which caused my alpha to growl in anger. Normally omegas are outgoing, not timid. I snapped out of my thoughts. Why am I suddenly concerned for this random omega. Sure she is my mate, but I am not going to be like my parents.

"Hi, Y/N, how are you," Enid ask the omega. This caused me to almost growl at her for talking to this omega, knowing she is an unmated alpha.

"I-i-i-i'm good, E-e-e-enid, how a-a-a-are y-y-y-you," she replied back. I wonder if she was born with a stutter, or if it is from trauma. She has a dog with her, that has a vest that says service dog, do not touch. This really riles up my alpha, not liking that something happened to my omega mate. She then looks at me, and stopped in her tracks. Her eyes widened, and she blushed. I smirked internally, pleased with her reaction. I stopped at this, not liking what this omega is doing to me. This is when Enid remembers me.

"Y/N, this is Wednesday Addams, my new roommate," she told her. She nodded he head towards me shyly, "anyway, the whole snarky Goth girl thing might have worked at normie school, but here things are different."

We continued walking around, with Y/N following us.

"Let me give you a wiki on Nevermore's social scene," Enid told me, which I defiantly didn't want to know, as it was useless.

"I'm not interested in participating in tribal adolescent cliches," I said blankly. I saw Y/N nodding her head in agreement. So she doesn't like knowing useless things as well, I though intrigued.

"Well, then use it to fill your obviously bottomless pit of disdain," Enid shot back, "there are many flavors of outcasts here, but the four main cliques are Fangs, Furs, Stoners and Scales,"

We walked by a table of vampires.

"Those are the Fangs, AKA vampires," Enid told me, which I can figure out myself, "some of them have literally been here for decades,"

Now by a table of werewolves.

"That bunch of knuckleheads are Furs, AKA werewolves, like me," she said, followed by howling, "full moons get pretty loud around here, that's when Furs wolf out, so I suggest you pick up noise-cancelling headphones."

I saw some people around a fountain, with one casually sticking her hand in the water. I automatically knew they were sirens.

"I'm assuming Scales are sirens," I asked, though already knowing the answer. Y/N nodded to me, with a small smile.

"You catch on quick, and that girl, Bianca Barclay," she said while pointing at the one with her hand in the water, "is the closest thing Nevermore has to royalty. Although her crown's been slipping lately, she used to date our resident tortured artist, Xavier Thorpe."

She pointed at someone painting on a wall, who turned around and saw Y/N, and kept staring at her. This didn't sit well with me, so I discreetly put my body in front of Y/N to block him.

"But they broke up at the beginning of the semester, reason unknown," Enid told me. I have a feeling that the reason they broke up is because he wants my mate, my omega. Damn it the family curse has its hold on me, I thought with disdain.

"Fascinating," I said blankly, and relaxed to see Xavier no longer looking at Y/N.

"I know, right," she exclaimed, which caused Y/N to flinch slightly and this caused me to frown slightly, "my vlog is, like, the number one source for Nevermore gossip."

"Yo, Enid! You're not gonna believe the dirt I heard about your new roommate," an omega boy yelled out, which caused Y/N to once again to flinch but then relax and smiled happily at the fellow omega, "she eats human flesh, chowed down on that kid she murdered. You better watch your back."

Enid moved out of the way to show this omega boy that I just heard everything he just said. This caused him to look at me in fear, even his little snakes were afraid of me, as one went back into his beanie.

"Quite the contrary, I actually fillet the bodies of my victims," I said looking at him in the eyes, "then feed them to my menagerie of pets."

"Ajax, this is my new roommate, Wednesday," Enid introduced me to him.

"Whoa, you're in black and white, like a living Instagram filter," he said, which made me want to punch him. In the corner of my eyes, I saw Y/N put her face in her palms and shake her head, probably at his stupidity.

"Ignore him, Gorgons spend way too much time getting stoned," Enid said, pushing the boy away from us, "he's cute, but clueless. It's a small school, there wasn't much online about you. You should really get on Insta, Snapchat and TikTok."

"I find social media to be a soul-sucking void of meaningless affirmation," I told her, and walked away to get my uniform and schedule.

Y/N's POV

This alpha, is my mate. This should be my happiest day, but I'm concerned. I know I'll have to tell her about my past, and she might reject me for being damaged. She also scares me, for the fact she is an alpha, I don't think I can trust another alpha that isn't Enid. I guess I'll have to watch how she acts.

Wednesday's POV

I walked out to see my family off, wearing the stupid uniform. At least it's black, my signature color. As I was walking to say bye to my family, I couldn't help but think of my omega mate. What is angering me and my alpha, is the fact that she seems to be blind in one eye, and have scars pretty much all over her face. Someone abused my omega, and I so severely want to hunt them down and make them wish they were never born. Damnit, I thought, why am I worried about her, these emotions are a weakness. As I was thinking this, I finally arrived in front of my family, who was around the family hearse waiting for me.

"Look at you, my little deathtrap," my family said happily, "seeing you in this uniform brings back so many terrible memories. Doesn't it, Tish?"

"Yes. Why don't you boys wait in the car," my mother replied looking at me, "Wednesday and I need a moment."

My father gave me one last hug, then walk to the hearse and got in. Pugsley walks up to me, and hugged me. I didn't hug back.

"Pugsley, you're soft and weak," I told him, and he stopped hugging me, "you'll never survive without me. I give you two months, tops."

"I'm gonna miss you, too, sis," he said, then walk to the hearse. My mother walked up to me next, and our conversation went like this.

"Any plans you have of running away end right now," she told me, "I've alerted all family members to contact me the minute you darken their doorstep. You have nowhere to go."

"As usual, you underestimate me, Mother," I replied, irritated, "I will escape this educational penitentiary, and you will never hear from me again."

"You are a brilliant girl, Wednesday, but sometimes you get in your own way," she said with a sigh, "I'm sure you'll grow to love Nevermore, and find it as life-changing as I did."

I just stare at her as she was talking. I did notice, that she has something in her hands.

"Oh, I got you a little something, W... M," my mother said holding a necklace, "our initials, it's made of obsidian, which Aztec priests used to conjure visions. It's a symbol of our connection."

"Which one of your spirits suggested this toe-curling tchotchke," I asked holding the necklace," I'm not you, Mother, I will never fall in love, or be a housewife, or have a family,"

"I'm told girls your age say hurtful things, and I shouldn't take it to heart," she said.

"Fortunately, you don't have one," I told her.

"Finally, a kind word for your mother," she said with a smile, then turned to Lurch, "Lurch, the crystal ball, please."

Lurch walked up to her and gave my mother a box, which I know has the crystal ball inside of it.

"We can't talk to you for the first week while you're settling in, so we'll call you next Sunday," she told me, while handing me the box. She then walked to the hearse and got in. I just watched as they leave.

Narrators POV

We now see Gomez and Morticia, with Morticia with tears in her eyes. Gomez then looks at his wife and saw her tears. He then reaches in his suit jacket to retrieve his handkerchief to hand to her.

"Don't worry, my love," he says to reassure his wife, "our little scorpion won't be alone."

He then proceeds to push a button, which sent a hand to land on the ground to scurry back to the school, to keep an eye out for Wednesday.

~Line Break~

Now we are back where the camper was killed. We then see two people, who seems to be police, looking at the scene, talking.

"Where's the rest of him," the man asked his colleague.

"Well, the torso and are are over there, we found a leg by the lake," she replied then pointed at something, " there's an arm in that tree over there, and the rest of the parts are so far unaccounted for. It matches the profile of the other two attacks last week."

"All right, issue a warning, keep hikers out of the woods," he told her, "don't approve any more campfire permits for the foreseeable future."

"What do you want me to tell the press," she asks him, which made him turn to her with a frown, "you know they're going to be swarming like mosquitos in July."

"Tell them the bear is back," he told her.

"You don't believe that, Sheriff," she replied to him.

"No, I don't, whatever did this wasn't human," he told her, then pointed in the direction of the school, "look, I know these murders are connected to Nevermore, I just can't prove it yet. So until I can... it's a goddamn bear,"

Wednesday's POV

I was almost done with dividing Enid's and I's room equally, when she walked in with Y/N. Why was she with her, I thought angrily.

"What the hell did you do to my room," Enid asked in a raised voice. Y/N looked at both sides, and slowly crept into my side.

"Dividing our room equally, it looks like a rainbow vomited on your side," I replied blankly, though I did notice Y/N trying to hold back her laugh. My alpha beamed in joy at getting out omega to laugh.

"I--," Enid tried to say, before I interrupted her.

"Silence would be appreciated, this is my writing time," I told them, though my mate perked up at this.

      "Your writing time," Enid asked.

"I devote an hour a day to my novel, perhaps if you did the same, your vlog might be coherent," I replied, "I've read serial killer diaries with better punctuation."

"I write in my voice, it's my truth," she told me, and I saw Y/N roll her eyes, she must hear this a lot, "it's what my followers love."

"Your followers are clearly imbeciles," I told her, "they respond to your stories with insipid little pictures."

I was walking up to her, trying to intimidate her.

"Uh, you mean, emojis, it's how people express their feelings," she told me with a frown, "I realized that's a foreign concept to you."

"When I look at you, the following emojis come to mind," I told her, "rope, shovel, hole."

I saw in the corner of my eye, my mate was looking at me with a frown on her face. She just shook her head, and walked into Enid's side of the room. This upset me greatly. I decided to ignore this feeling, and walked back to my typewriter.

"By the way, there are two D's in Addams," I told Enid, "if you're going to gossip about me, at least spell my name correctly."

After I said that, I heard music coming from her side of the room. This is the most distracting thing I've ever heard. I quickly turned around to see Enid dancing, and Y/N looking at her with wide eye.

"Turn that off, this is your final warning," I told her, walking over with a purpose to get her to turn off the music.

"Rawr! Don't mess with me," she told me, with her claws out, "this kitty's got claws, and I'm not afraid to use them."

Just then the door opens, and in comes a woman carrying a plant.

"Good evening, girls. Oh, sorry about the mud, I wanted to make sure that Wednesday was settling in," she said, then notice the thick atmosphere, "ah, is this a bad time, I'm Ms. Thornhill, your dorm mom. Apologies, I wasn't here to greet you when you arrived. I trust Enid has given you the old Nevermore welcome,"

"She's been smothering me with hospitality," I told her, "I hope to return the favor, in her sleep."

"Well, here's a little welcome gift from my conservatory," she told me, handing me the plant, and I already knew what it was, "I try to match the right flower to each of my girls. When I read you personal statement in you application, I immediately thought of this one,"

"The Black Dahlia," I said. She looked at me in surprise.

"Oh, you know it," she asked.

"Of course, it's named after my favorite unsolved murder," I informed her, "thank you."

"Okey-dokey, before I leave, I want to go over a few house rules," she told me, "lights off at 10, no loud music, and no boys, ever."

Well, she wouldn't have to worry about that.

"What's the story about going into the local town," I asked.

"Passes to Jericho are a privilege, not a right," she replied, "it's a brisk 25-minute walk, or there's a shuttle on the weekends. The locals are a tad bit wary about Nevermore, so please don't go making any waves, or perpetuating any outcast stereotypes. That means keep your claws to yourself, and no smothering people in their sleep. Are we clear?"

She looks at us to see if we understand, then she chuckles.

"Great talk," she then proceeded to walk out of the room. That is when Y/N decided to also leave. I was just watching her leave.

"I-i-i-i have to g-g-g-go Enid, see you la-la-la-later," she said, and with a wave left closing the door.

Notes:

Hope you guys had an amazing Christmas.

Chapter 5: Wednesday's Child Is Full Of Woe Pt. 4

Summary:

It's fencing class, and Wednesday saw how good Y/N is at fencing. How will she react?

For fencing, I have no idea how many rounds they do in practice, so I'm just doing three rounds.

Wednesday's POV

It was the next day, and I have fencing for a first class. I quite actually enjoy fencing, as it is quite relaxing. Unfortunately, we have to wear protective gear and have blunt tips. As I was walking to class, I feel myself look around for Y/N. I feel upset that a random omega has such effect on me, as I do not want any form of romance. I know she is my mate, but this is going to hinder my escape plans. Though I could just take her with me, my traitorous thoughts said to me. I could feel my eyes twitch ever so slightly and ignored my thoughts about the omega. I finally arrived to class, and I could smell my mate is here. This caused to look around for her, and saw her sparing against Enid. I can tell that she was taught well, for she is beating Enid brutally. I could feel a small amount of pride for the omega as she won.

I kept walking toward who I assume is the coach overlooking the self-acclaimed queen bee, and a weak alpha. He is loosing quite harshly, he has not been trained well. I could see so many openings he is missing. I just arrived to my destination, when the weak alpha tripped and fell in front of me. I stopped and look at him.

"Coach, coach, she tripped," he said, though I know she didn't.

"It was a clean strike, Rowan," the coach told him, but I could tell this has happened many times.

"Maybe if you whined less and practiced more, you wouldn't suck," Bianca said, mockingly, "seriously, coach, when am I gonna get real competition? Anyone else want to challenge me?"

"I do/I-i-i-i do," both Y/N and I said. This caused me to whip my head around to look at Y/N. She doesn't have any emotions on her face as she looks at Bianca. Bianca also looks at her with a shock and fear expression, and I could tell she didn't want to go against her. I wonder why she is scared of Y/N, but this also makes her even more intriguing. She then looks at me and smiles.

"Oh, you must be the psychopath they let in," she says, looking me up and down. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Y/N glaring at her harshly. This made me want to smirk.

"You must be the self-appointed Queen Bee," I replied, to which she just nodded, "interesting thing about bees, pull out their stingers, they drop dead,"

"Ooh," everyone said. She frowned and looked around when she heard everyone. I saw Y/N trying to hold in a laugh, this almost caused me to puff my chest is happiness, which I then squashed to pieces.

"Rowan doesn't need you to come to his defense," she told me, and quite honestly, I wasn't doing this for Rowan, I just want to go against her," he's not helpless, he's lazy."

"Are we doing this or not," I asked, which she just got into position. I let Y/N to go first, confident in her ability to win. She nodded her head and got into position. I could tell Bianca was feeling less confident, seeing Y/N going first. The reason I wanted her to go first, is to observe some more of both my opponent and my mate.

"En garde," the coach said, and there they go. Y/N is not leaving any openings at all, which was completely different to how she was fencing against Enid. She was vicious in her movements. My opponent was good as well, but not as good as Y/N. The first point went to her, which made me proud of her. They reposition themselves, and began again. Bianca was trying with all her might, but it was enough for the second point went to Y/N again. I could tell that this was angering Bianca, and I just reveled the fact. Once again, they reposition themselves, and began. This time, Bianca just went all out, trying to win. This time, I could tell that Y/N was just toying with her this time, until once again the point went to her. I smirked a little at the fact that she just put Bianca in her place. Now is was my turn, though the coach asked her if she wanted to go against me. She just nodded her head. We got into positions, facing each other.

"En garde," the coach once again said, and Bianca went first. We went at it for a while, when I was able to hit her, " Point to Wednesday."

We reposition, and I went first this time. I saw Y/N watching us with a blank face, and I wonder what was going on in her head. I get this strong feeling that she doesn't like Bianca very much. I went back to focusing on my opponent and she landed a hit on my this time. This made me frustrated.

"The score is even," the coach said.

"That first point was clearly beginner's luck, let's finish this," Bianca said, walking around me.

"For the final point, I would like to invoke a military challenge," I said, and I could tell everyone was surprised by my challenge, though Y/N was smirking at me a little, "no masks, no tips, winner draws first blood,"

      "Ooh," everyone said.

"It's your decision, Bianca," the coach told her.

"Let's see if you bleed in black and white," she told me. We got into position and began. We were pretty much all over the place, trying to make one of us bleed. We were evenly match it seemed, when she finally lands a hit above my eyebrow. We stopped, and I ran my finger on where I got hit. Looking at the blood on my finger in shock.

"Your face finally got that splash of color it so desperately needed," she said with a smirk on her face. I saw Y/N running towards me, though she seemed pale and she was shaking. She has this far away look as she took me to the infirmary. Once there I saw the nurse look up towards us and came over. She guided me to one of the beds and have me sit. Then she turned towards Y/N and have her lay down on the bed and put headphones on. This seemed to calm her down, and that is when I knew that she had some sort of a panic attack. I wonder what caused it, as she was fine a while ago. After a while, Y/N got up and gave the headphones back to the nursed and left. I frowned, not liking how she left.

Y/N's POV

I just watched Wednesday go against Bianca. She was so awesome. I did smirk a little when she challenged her to a military stance. She was doing so well, when Bianca managed to land a hit, just above her eyebrow. This made me think of my abusive parents, as they liked to cut me. It was one of the reasons I'm blind in one eye. I know that a panic attack was coming on, and I needed to go to the infirmary, so I just took Wednesday with me so they could patch her up as well. I think I blacked out, because the next time I'm aware of my surroundings I was in the infirmary. I sat up, took the headphones off my ears, and left to get some fresh air. I just hope Wednesday is okay, and she wouldn't ask me what had happened. I didn't want to tell her yet.

Wednesday's POV

I watched as Y/N left. I was finally checked out but was stopped by the weak alpha, known was Rowan.

"You're Wednesday, right," he asked me, I just stared at him, "Rowan. I know how you feel."

      "I guarantee you don't," I replied.

"My mother promised me I'd finally fit in somewhere," he told me, which I didn't really care for, " I never though it was possible to be an outcast in a school full of outcasts. But it looks like you're gonna give me a run for my money. Uh... Sorry about the... nick."

"No good deed goes unpunished," I told him and got up to leave. As I was walking past the water container (I don't know what it is called) it bubbled. This caused me to turn and look at it for a moment, then continue to walk outside. When I walked outside, I saw Y/N just standing there in the rain, getting soaked.

"Y/N, why don't you have an umbrella, you're going to get sick," I asked worried, then mentally beat myself up. I shouldn't worry about her. But she is our mate, my alpha told me. I ignored him.

"He-he-hey Wednesday, the ra-ra-rain helps me c-c-calm down," she replied, smiling shyly. I find this action cute. I walked up to her and held the umbrella (Y/N is shorter than Wednesday) over the both of us. We both walk in silence, and I find myself enjoying the moment. After a while, we heard stone scraping against each other. We both looked up and saw a gargoyle falling towards us. I went to push Y/N out of dangers way when I heard someone screaming towards us.

"Wednesday! Y/N!" Someone shouted, and both Y/N and I was push out of the way, and everything went black. I woke back up in the infirmary. I sat up and looked around, and saw Xavier standing over Y/N. I didn't like this one bit, so I growled at him to back off. He took the warning and walk to a seat and sat down.

"Welcome back, and you should take it easy," he told me, I just stared at him, "nurse said you don't have a concussion, but you should probably have a nasty bump, huh?"

"The last thing I remember, I was walking outside with Y/N feeling a mixture of rage, pity and self-disgust," I told him, getting up to go to Y/N to make sure she is okay, "I never felt that way before."

"Losing to Bianca has that effect on people, I think," he replied, getting up and try to get close to my unconscious mate. I glared at him to sit back down, and stay away from her.

"Then I looked up and saw that gargoyle coming down and I though," I continued, "at least I'll have an imaginative death. Then you tackled Y/N and I out of the way. Why?"

"Call it instinct," he told me. This made me want to roll my eyes.

"So you were guided by latent chivalry," I told him, turning to face him," the tool of the patriarchy, to extract my or Y/N's undying gratitude?"

"Mm-hmm. Most people just say thank you," he said.

"I didn't want to be rescued," I told him harshly.

"I shoulda just saved Y/N and just let that thing smash you to mush," he said, raising one eyebrow at me.

"I would have rather saved both her and myself," I told him, tensing up at the thought of him touching her.

"Good to see you haven't changed, if it makes you feel any better, let's just say I returned the favor," he scoffed. He must have seen the confusion on my face as he continued, " Xavier Thorpe? You probably don't remember. Last time we met, I was two feet shorter, 40 pounds heavier."

"What happened," I asked, trying to remember.

"Puberty, I guess," he said. I wanted to facepalm at this (and so did I, he was very stupid in this scene).

"What happened the last time we met," I corrected him.

"Oh. Uh. Yeah, it... it was my godmother's funeral," he replied. I tried to remember a funeral, "she was friends with you grandmother, and they spent their twenties in Europe, and swindling the rich and notorious. I don't know, but we were ten, and we were bored, decided to play hide and seek. I had the inspired idea to hide in her casket, I got stuck as it was headed to the crematorium."

"I'd heard muffled screams," I said, finally remembering, "I just figured your godmother had cheated death and was trying to claw her way out,"

"Either way, you hit the bid red stop button," he told me, " and saved me from being flame-broiled. So... now we're even."

He decided to leave after that, and that was when Y/N woke up. She sat up and looked around. She saw me standing there and smiled up at me. I nodded at her and helped her back to her dorm, so she can rest some more. I finally made it to my room, and started my writing time, while listening to La Llorona playing on my Gramophone (I hope I'm correct on what this is called). I was so into my writing, until I heard my bed squeaking. I turned towards it. I got up to walk towards my bed. When I reached it, I threw the covers off, to reveal Thing, a disembodied hand.

"I knew it," I said to the now terrified hand, "hello, Thing."

He tried to flee the room, but he wasn't fast enough, and I caught him.

"Did you think my highly trained olfactory sense wouldn't pick up on the faint whiff of neroli and bergamot in your favorite had lotion," I told him, holding him in front of my face, "I could do this all day."

I then slammed him into my desk and pinned him there.

"Surrender," I asked him, which he signed yes and I let him go, "Mother and Father sent you to spy on me, didn't they?"

He tried to deny it, but I can see through it.

"I'm not above breaking a few fingers," I told him, which made him to stop, "that they thought I wouldn't find out proves how mush they underestimate me."

He tried to defend them, by saying that they care for me. I'm not buying this either.

"Oh, Thing, you poor, naive appendage," I told him, "my parents aren't worried about me. They're evil puppeteers, who want pull my strings from afar. The way I see it, you have two options. Option one,"

I picked him up, while opening a drawer in my desk.

"I lock you in here for the rest of the semester, and you go slowly insane trying to claw your way out," I told him, with him shaking in fear, "ruining your nails and your smooth, supple skin. And we both know how vain you are. Option two."

I then closed the drawer and set him back on my desk.

"You pledge your undying loyalty to me," I told him. It took a little bit, but he eventually bowed down to me, to show me that he chooses the second option. This greatly pleases me.

"Our first order of business is to escape this teenage purgatory," I told him. He signed, asking me if I have a plan, "of course I have a plan. And it begins now."

Narrator's POV

We now see an overview of the town Jericho. It looks like they are setting up for a festival. We zoom in on a van stopping in front of a building. We see Principle Weems, with two other people with her. They are Wednesday and Y/N, as they both have therapy session at the same time. Y/N was not happy with the arrangement of sharing her session with someone, no matter the person she is sharing it with is her mate. She doesn't want her mate to know about her baggage this early on.

Y/N's POV

Why do I have to share my sessions with her, I thought in my head. Principal Weems knows I don't want anyone to know about my past, and she does this shit. I thought I could trust her, but apparently not. Maybe, with Wednesday there, Dr. Kinbott won't talk about me. That could be a fucking miracle. Wednesday turned around and looked at me, probably sensing my mood. She saw the scowl on my face and frowned. I sighed and looked away, and that is when Weems started to talk to Wednesday.

Wednesday's POV

I could feel Y/N mood turning sour, so I turned around to look at her. I saw a scowl on her face, and I frowned as I didn't like that face on her. She should be smiling, I thought then shook that thought away. I saw that she sighed and looked away. I'm wondering why she is like this. This is when Weems started to talk to me.

"Dr. Kinbott's office is on the second floor," she told me, "other Nevermore students swear by her."

"You'll be here until we're done," I asked referring to both Y/N and I. I have decided to take Y/N with me. She is my mate, so she will come with as she is mine.

"Perhaps afterwards we can visit the Weathervane for hot chocolate," Weems said with a smile. I saw Y/N perk up at this. So she likes hot chocolate, I thought.

"Principal Weems, this feeble attempt at bonding is beneath you," I told her, while getting out. Y/N did the same, still with a scowl on her face. I turned around to continue, "and chauffeuring your students around is below your pay grade."

"Given your history, I'm sure you're intent on running away," she told me with a smile, "I'm here to prevent that from happening."

"I wish you luck," I said, shutting the door. I walked with Y/N towards the building to begin my session.

~Line Break~

"I read the notes from your school counselor," Dr. Kinbott told me as we all walked up the stairs. Y/N was fidgeting, so Dr. Kinbott gave her something to mess with.

"Mrs. Bronstein. She had a nervous breakdown after our last session and had to take a six-month sabbatical," I responded flatly. Y/N looked at me, raising one of her eyebrows.

"Go ahead and take a seat," Dr Kinbott told me, to which I did, "how did you feel about that?"

"Vindicated," I replied, "but someone who crochets for a hobby isn't a worthy adversary."

"Adversary," Dr. Kinbott said looking at me, "I hope we can forge a relationship based on trust and mutual respect, like Y/N and myself have."

At this I looked at Y/N and she just kept fidgeting with her fingers and this spinner, that I heard is called a fidget spinner. She really looks uncomfortable, and I don't know why.

"This is a safe space, Wednesday," Dr. Kinbott told me, probably in hopes I would cooperate with her, "a sanctuary where we can discuss anything. What you're thinking, feeling, your views on the world, personal philosophy."

"That's easy. I think that this is a waste of time," I told, and I heard Y/N snort a little which caused me to stifle my smirk a little, "I see the world as a place that must be endured, and my personal philosophy is kill or be killed."

I caught Y/N looking at me with a slight frown and furrowed eyebrows. I really wish I could hear what goes through her head. Yes, then we'll know what's wrong with her and who has hurt her, my alpha spoke up. I'm unfortunately loosing my will to fight this mate bond. I am getting closer to accepting her.

"So, for instance, when someone bullies your brother," Dr. Kinbott said, and I saw Y/N tense up at the word bullies. This makes me think that she was bullied, and this does not sit well with me. Before I could continue my monologue, Dr. Kinbott continued, "your response is to dump piranha in the pool."

At this Y/N looked at me with this look in her eyes, that I couldn't quit place the name of.

"You know the old saying, never bring a knife to a sword fight," I replied to her, "unless it's concealed."

"Point is, you assaulted a boy, and show no remorse for your actions," Dr. Kinbott told me, "that's why you're here. He lost a testicle."

Out the corner of my eye, I could tell Y/N was trying to hold in her laughter. Probably so she wouldn't get in trouble.

"I did the world a favor. People like Dalton shouldn't procreate," I told her, which I saw my omega nod slightly in agreement, " I've answered all your questions."

I told her, and got up to leave. I was getting quit tired of this session already.

"We're not done yet. Therapy is a valuable tool to help you understand yourself," she told me, and I sat back down, "it can teach you new ways to deal with your emotions. It can also help you build a life that you want."

She then looked at Y/N, who quickly sat up straight. I didn't like that she sat up quickly, like she is being forced to do so.

"Like how, Y/N here, found out she wants a psychologist, though we are working on her stutter to help her out with that, or a jewelry maker, as she is fantastic with creating I mean look at her rings, she made them herself," Dr. Kinbott told me with what sounded like pride in her voice. I looked at the rings on my omega's hand, and they are like professionally done. Though I already know what I want to do.

"I know the life that I want," I told her.

"Tell me about it. Everything said in these sessions is strictly confidential," she told me. I found this to be hypocritical as she just told me what my mate wants to do in her life, and I saw Y/N looking at Dr. Kinbott with a frown at what she said, "do your plans involve becoming an author? I understand you've written three novels about a teen girl detective, Viper De La Muerte. Can you tell me about her?"

"Viper is smart, perceptive, chronically misunderstood," I told her, not liking how she brought my novels into this.

"Any luck getting your work published," Dr. Kinbott asked me.

"Editors are short-sighted, fear-based life forms," I replied flatly, "one once described my writing as gratuitously morbid, and suggested I seek psychiatric help. Ironic, isn't it?"

"Hmm. How did you take that," she asked.

"I sent her a "thank you," I replied, internally smirking at what I did to the woman who dared say that about my novels.

Narrator's POV

A seen is showed Wednesday putting multiple mousetraps in a box. Then it showed a woman opening said box, sticking her hand in, which caused a mousetrap to set off on her hand and causing her to scream in pain.

Wednesday's POV

"I've always been open to constructive criticism," I told her. Y/N looked at me, like she didn't believe what I just said.

"I'm glad to hear that. Because I was sent the manuscripts as part of you psych evaluation (which pissed me off, like, just because someone wrote something with stuff that is morbid, doesn't mean they are psychotic or something). The relationship I found most intriguing was that of Viper and her mother, Dominica. Why don't we dig into that," she told me. I didn't want to get into this detail at all, and for the first time, I was very uncomfortable, which alerted Y/N as she sent me calming pheromones, "part of this journey requires us going to uncomfortable places emotionally."

"I don't travel well," I told her, "would you mind if Y/N and I use the powder room first?"

She nods her head and points me towards where it would be. Both Y/N and I went to the rooms. I have decided that Y/N needs to come with me, as I don't think I can live without her. I locked the door and looked around. I saw the window in the back and went to it, and accidently knocked something over.

"Wednesday? Is everything okay," I heard Dr. Kinbott call out, "you can't hide for the rest of the session."

"I'm all right," I replied, "just preparing myself for our uncomfortable journey. Nail file."

After I said that, Thing gave me a nail file, and I heard Y/N gasped in surprise at Things entrance. I ignored her and worked on getting the window open, which finally I did and climbed out. Y/N followed me out and we both made our way to the ledge of the roof. We slid down the gutter. We walked around and saw Principal Weems talking on the phone, completely oblivious to our presence. We continued to walk, when I bumped into a man, which thew me into a vision.

The farmer was on his phone while driving, when he looked up in fear. It changed to a bunch of apples falling onto the road. Then it showed the farmer with his neck broken.

I finally came out of the vision with Y/N looking at me with a concerned look. I was about to tell her she didn't have anything to worry about when I was rudely interrupted by the farmer.

"Who let you out? You goddamn weirdos," he said to both of us.

Y/N's POV

I was really concerned about Wednesday. When she bumped into the farmer, her head threw back, that I thought she had hurt it. Now she seems to be fine. I so wanted to ask her about what had happened, but it could be something that she didn't want to talk about. We eventually arrived at the  Weathervane, where I saw Tyler. I greatly dislike Tyler, for he is very pushy in trying to court me. I also get a very bad feeling about him, like he isn't a normie that he is trying to be. Because of all that, I tend to try and go to the Weathervane when it isn't his shift. As we got closer to the bar (is that what it's called in coffee shops) I scooted closer to Wednesday. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw her look at me slightly.

Wednesday's POV

When we got closer to the bar of the coffee shop, Y/N got closer to me, and I could sense that she was very uncomfortable. This was putting me on edge, so I allowed her to get closer. We finally made it to the bar, when their machine started to act up. The machine hissed and spewed out steam. The barista was having trouble getting the machine to stop and to work properly. I could feel Y/N slightly laugh at this and it almost caused me to smirk. When the steam finally let up, the barista jumped back, startled by our appearance.

"Holy crap," he exclaimed looking at us, though his gaze was set mostly on my omega, which I didn't like at all, "do you make a habit of scaring the hell out of people?"

"It's more of a hobby," I replied to him. Y/N looked at me with a small smile, but I could tell that she doesn't want to be near this person. I wonder why she doesn't like this person, but I will do my best in keeping him away from her.

"You go to Nevermore," he asked, then looked at my uniform, "didn't realize they changed the uniform."

"I need a quad over ice," I told him, ignoring the question and comment, "it's an emergency, plus a hot chocolate for Y/N."

I saw him give me a confused face, and this really irritated me, for he should know how to make this since he works here.

"It's four shots of espresso," I told him.

"Yeah, I... I know what a quad is, but, spoiler alert," he explained to me, "the espresso machine's having a seizure, so all we have is drip."

"But drip is for people who hate themselves and know their lives have no real purpose or meaning," I told him, not wanting drip, "what's wrong with your machine?"

"It's a temperamental beast with a mind of its own," he told me, "and it doesn't help that the instructions are in Italian."

"I need a tri-wing screwdriver and a four-millimeter Allen wrench," I told him, while looking at the instructions. I saw out of the corner of my eye,  that Y/N was looking at me with awe on her face. This made me want to puff up in pride, but resisted.

"Wait, you read Italian," he asked, stunned.

"Of course. It's the native tongue of Machiavelli," I told him, "here's the deal. I'm going to fix your coffee machine, then you're going to make my coffee and call a taxi."

"Uh, no taxis in Jericho," he told me, "try Uber?"

"I don't have a phone. I refuse to be a slave to technology," I said flatly.

"Then you're out of luck," he said, "where you going anyway?"

"That's on a need-to-know basis," I told him, for he doesn't need to know anything about this, "what about trains?"

"Nearest station is Burlington," he told me, "it's half an hour long away."

"You have a valve issue," I told him, finally seeing what the issue is, "I've seen it before."

"Where? You have one of these monsters at home," he asked, looking at the machine disdainfully.

"Steam-powered guillotine," I replied, still working on the machine, "I built it when I was ten. I wanted to decapitate my dolls more efficiently."

"Sure," he said, looking creeped out, while Y/N looked at me like I grown a second head, "Grim Reaper Barbie, makes perfect sense."

I finally got it to work, then proceeded to put everything back in order. I looked up and saw both Y/N and the barista looking at me in awe.

"Wow, thanks," he said, "I never met a Nevermore kid who got their hands dirty. I'm Tyler, by the way. I didn't catch your name, or is that on a need-to-know basis too?"

      "Wednesday," I told him.

"Tell you what, Wednesday," he said, smiling, "to show my appreciation, how about I drive you to Burlington?"

"Perfect. Put that quad in a to-go cup," I told him. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Y/N shaking her head in disbelief. This confused me on why she was shaking her head.

"Uh, but I don't get off for another hour," he said.

"I'll sweeten the pot," I told him, handing a twenty.

"Twenty whole dollars," he said, looking at the money, "tempting, but no."

"I'll make it forty," I said, getting another twenty out.

"Uh.... Listen, Wednesday, one fun fact about me," he said, looking at me, "I can't be bought, so either wait, or find someone else to drive you."

I sighed, and turned around. Y/N and I just went to a booth to sit down and wait. As we wait, I got my book out to read, while Y/N just laid her head down. She does look exhausted, so I let her rest, while reading and keeping my eye out for any form of danger.

Narrator's POV

Now we are back seeing Principle Weems on her phone. She looks up in time to see Dr. Kinbott exciting the building and looking around. Weems got out of the van and went up to her.

"What happened," she asked, but got no reply. She knew that her students have escaped the therapy session, so she went looking for them.

Wednesday's POV

I was getting into my book when I head some boys, so I looked up and saw some people in Pilgrim clothes.

"Hey, boys, check it out," one said to the group.

"Who's that? Bro...." the other said.

"Come on," the first one told them, and they walked up to the booth.

"What's a Nevermore freak doing out in the wild," one asked me.

"This is our booth," the other one said.

"Why are you dressed like religious fanatics," I asked, not comprehending why someone wanted to dress like people who have wrong so many other people.

"We're pilgrims," the one who seems to be the leader told me.

"Potato, po-tah-to," I told them uninterestedly.

"We work at Pilgrim World," he said, putting a flyer down in front of me. This caused Y/N to wake up, and look at them with a scowl on her face.

"It takes a special kind of stupid to devote an entire them park to zealots responsible for mass genocide," I said looking at the flyer.

"My dad owns Pilgrim World." he said, with an angry face, "who you calling stupid?"

"If the buckled shoe fits," I replied.

"Guys, back off," Tyler ran over to stop what is about to happen.

"Stay out of this, Galpin," the leader told him.

"Yes, stay out of this," I told him, while getting up from the booth. I saw Y/N also get up.

"So tell me, freak," the leader said, while looking at my mate, "you ever been with a normie?"

This angered me greatly, but as I go to put him in his place, my mate has already done so.

"I've n-n-never found one th-th-th-that could h-h-handle me," she replied, and this made me proud of her.

"Boo," I suddenly said, while moving forward a little bit. They jumped back in fright, then went to attack me. Before they could touch me, Y/N jumped in with an open palm hit to the face. This caused a fight to really happen.

~Line Break~

We were victorious in the fight, though I did see a bruise happening on Y/N's face. This caused me to become very protective of her. I went up to her, and took a hold of her face to examine the bruise better. She just looked at me with a smile. Tyler came up with an ice pack, but as he got closer, I growled at him to not get too close to us, more specifically my mate. He stopped, and I went up to him to get the ice pack. I held it up to her face.

"So where'd you learn those kung fu moves," he asked me.

"My uncle taught me," I replied, still taking care of Y/N, "he spent five years in a Tibetan Monastery."

"Was he a monk," he asked.

"Prisoner," I told him, getting bored of the conversation.

Then in walked the town's sheriff. He looked around at the boys and walked up to Tyler.

"Dad," Tyler said, looking at him.

"Tyler, the hell's going on here," he asked Tyler.

"They were harassing the two customers, and they put them in their place," he explained. The sheriff looked over at Y/N and I. He looked us up and down in disbelief.

"These little things took down three boys," he asked, "did you help them?"

"Dad, I swear, I wasn't involved," he told him.

If that wasn't bad enough, here comes Weems coming in. Most likely coming to look for both Y/N and I. When she spotted us, she walked over.

"Apologies, Sheriff," she told him, "these two slipped away from me. Come on, Miss Addams and Miss Y/L/N, time to go."

"Wait a minute, hang on," the sheriff said, stopping us from leaving, "you're an Addams? Don't tell me Gomez Addams is your father? That man belongs behind bars for murder."

This confused me for a moment, as this was never mentioned to me before.

"Guessin' the apple doesn't fall far from the tree," he told me (I hate it when people assume someone is going to be bad people for what their parents did), "I'm gonna keep my eye on you."

"Okay," Weems said, putting her arm in front of me to guide me out of the Weathervane. We finally got in the van and went back to Nevermore, but on the way, Weems decided to hold a conversation with me.

"Your first day and you're already on Sheriff Galpin's radar," she said, "wish I could say I was surprised."

"What did he mean about my father," I asked.

"I have no idea, but a word of advice," she said, "stop making enemies, and start making friends. You're going to need them."

It was maybe about thirty minutes (I'm just guessing at this point) after she stopped talking when we was fixing to pass a wreck.

"Looks like an accident," she said with a worried tone, "I hope the driver's okay."

"He's dead," I replied, recognizing the truck, "broke his neck."

"How can you tell from this angle," she asked me, but decided to ignore her. I took the necklace that my mother has given me, and just held it.

Y/N's POV

I think I figured out what happened to Wednesday when she bumped into the farmer. She had a vision. I don't quit like people who can have visions, for sometimes they'll take them as fact, and bad things happen. This happened when my mom saw a vision about me, and everything became horrible for me. Though, I'm going to not judge her for her visions.

Y/N's POV

I was just laying down, thinking why Wednesday wanted me to escape the therapy session with her. It just doesn't seem like her to want others with her. I am thankful that she did let me, but I'm so confused. I need to talk to Enid about this, maybe she'll have some advice on what to do. I also need to make sure she doesn't gossip about it either. I love that girl, but she is a gossip queen, and in my opinion the gossip queen. I'm really falling in love with Wednesday Addams, and I hope she accepts me as her mate, even when I tell her about my past.

Before I could finish my thought, I heard someone playing the cello, and it was very beautiful. I love instruments like the cello, and I have a feeling on who is playing it. So, with that thought I got up to go over to Enid's and Wednesday's room to listen to her better. On my way there, I ran into Enid, so we just walked together.

Wednesday's POV

I was just finishing up playing my cello, when Thing asked me if I feel better.

"No, I don't really feel better," I replied to him, "there's just something wrong about this place. Not just because it's a school."

Just then the door to the balcony opened and revealed Enid and Y/N. They walked over to us.

"How the hell did you get that oversized violin out the window," Enid asked. I saw Y/N glare at her, and shaking her head.

"I-i-i-it's a ce-ce-ce-cello E-e-e-enid," she told Enid with a tone that says that she was offended by the comment. This almost made me smile at how cute she was being.

"I had an extra hand," I told her, with Thing showing himself. Enid looked at him with awe and slight fear.

"Whoa. Where's the rest of him," she asked, coming closer.

"It's one of the great Addams family mysteries," I told her. Then we heard howling in the distance. It's the full moon, so the werewolves have turned, but Enid is also a werewolf. She didn't turn, so I'm intrigued.

"Why aren't you wolfing out," I asked her. She looked down in what I assume is sadness.

"Because I can't," she replied, then she extended her nail towards me, "it's all I got. My mom says some wolves are late bloomers, but I've been to the best Lycanologist. I had to fly to Milwaukee, would you believe it. Yeah, she says there's a chance I may never..... you know."

       "What happens then," I inquired.

"I'd become a lone wolf," she told me, still looking down. Y/N just walked over to her to comfort her, which didn't sit well with me.

"Sounds perfect," I told her, but Y/N just glared at me. I don't understand why, as being alone, well not completely alone with her, is a bad thing.

"Are you kidding me? My life would be officially over," she told me, with slight anger in her voice, "I'd be kicked out of my family pack with no prospect of finding a mate."

"I'm failing to see the problem here," I said, confused why someone wants to be with other people. I saw Y/N roll her eyes, and I had to hold my anger in, as she shouldn't be concerned about Enid at all, only me.

"I could die alone," she replied.

"We all die alone, Enid," I said.

"You really suck at this. Cheering people up," she said, then started to silently cry.

"Why are you crying," I asked her, completely uncomfortable with the situation.

"Because I'm upset," she told me, raising her voice a little bit, "haven't you ever cried, or are you above that too?"

"It was the week after Halloween. I was six years old," I replied, and I don't know why I was telling her about this. Y/N also was listening as well, "I took my pet scorpion, Nero, out for his afternoon stroll, and we were ambushed. They wondered what kind of freak would have a scorpion for a pet. Two of them held me down and made me watch.... while the others ran Nero over until.... It was snowing when I buried what was left of him. I cried my little black heart out. But tears don't fix anything, so I vowed to never do it again."

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Y/N holding her mouth, with tears rolling down her face. I could also sense that she was very pissed off (I was also pissed off, I do not condone animal abuse and I wish I could legally hunt animal abusers down).

"Your secret's safe with us. Still think you're weird as shit, though," Enid said.

"The feeling is incredibly mutual," I replied, and I saw Y/N smile, "how would you like your single room back? You just need to show me how to use your computer."

I saw Y/N with a frown, so I walked up to her and whispered in her ear.

"I'm taking you with me, I don't think I can survive without your," I told her. To this she beamed and nodded her head.

Narrator's POV

Now we see Thing crawling up someone's house. He crawled up to the window and knocked on it. Inside, we see Tyler walking towards his window to investigate the knocking at his window. He opened the window, when Thing crawled inside which caused Tyler to startle.

"Holy shit," he exclaimed. He got his bat to swing at Thing. Thing just crawled, dodging the bat, until he got to the desk. He then got a hold of the bat and threw it away. He showed his palm, which had a message from Wednesday to call her.

"Okay, I'm taking orders from a hand. This isn't weird at all," he said, and proceeded to do what Thing showed him.

Wednesday's POV

I heard the computer ring, so I went up to answer. After looking for the button to answer, I finally saw Tyler.

"Uh... hi," he said, looking off to the side.

"That's Thing," I told me, and nodded at that.

"Is he, like, your pet," he asked, though this caused me to be mad at him, but I wouldn't show that. I also heard Thing flipping him off.

"He's sensitive," I told him, which was true.

"Look, I know Nevermore is ground zero for all things weird," he said, "but this is next-level. So, what happened to not wanting to be a slave to technology"

"Desperate time. Are you still willing to help me escape," I asked him.

"After what happened today, I figured they'd have you in solitary," he told me.

"There's the Harvest Festival this weekend," I replied, "attendance is mandatory. I'm going to use it as a cover. If you're willing to drive me to the station, I can make it worth your while."

"I'm in. And no charge," he told me, though I was confused why he would do this with no charge, "consider it a freebie."

       "Why," I asked.

"Cause I wish I was going with you," he said in a serious tone, "at least one of us will get out of this hellhole town."

Chapter 11: Wednesday's Child Is Full Of Woe Pt. 9

Summary:

It's time for the Harvest Festival and there has been a murder... Dun Dun Dun!

Notes:

Sorry it took so long to write, I was busy getting things ready for my birthday. Now I'm officially 27 years old.

Narrator's POV

It's now time for the Harvest Festival, and the two roommates plus Y/N are saying their goodbyes. When Enid and Y/N saw Tyler, they made a face. Enid doesn't trust him, as she remembers how he was (this is just a theory, I don't know if this is true). Y/N doesn't for she doesn't like how he looks at her like she is a piece of meat, and something just doesn't seem right about him.

Y/N's POV

I don't know why she has to trust this normie, there's just something off about him. I am surprised that she wants me to come with her, as she seems to be the loner type, but I'm happy that she wants me to come with her. I also decided not to tell Enid about Wednesday being my mate. I love her, but she's too gossipy.

Wednesday's POV

I was saying bye to Enid. I'm glad Y/N decided to come with me.

"Are you sure you can trust that normie," Enid asks me, and I saw Y/N nodding in agreement. I need to ask her about this, and see if I need to torture Tyler.

"I trust that I can handle myself and keep Y/N safe," I replied, and I saw Y/N smile, though she did try to hide it.

"Well, good luck and safe travels," Enid told me and went to hug me goodbye. I stepped away, only allowing Y/N to hug me though she doesn't know yet, "still not a hugger. Got it."

With that both Y/N and I went over to the dart throwing stand. Y/N is just watching me dominating the game with awe in her eyes, so I just kept going. Well, until we were interrupted by Xavier.

"Jeez, you get any better at this, you'll be taking home a whole pack," he said, while also trying to get close to Y/N. This caused her to get uncomfortable and scoot closer to me. I glared at him, telling him to back off.

"Pandas don't travel in packs. They prefer solitude," I replied.

"All right. Subtle hint taken," he told me.

"You should know we're waiting for someone," I told him, in hopes that he'll leave us alone.

"Oh yeah, who's the lucky guy.... or girl," he asked, though that isn't his business.

"What does it matter to you," I asked him, but that is when Tyler shows up, walking towards us. I felt Y/N come even closer after seeing him.

"Didn't mean to interrupt," Tyler said, looking at all of us, but his stare seems to linger on my mate, my omega. I glared at him, as I didn't like him looking at her like that. I'm starting to realize why Y/N seems to be uncomfortable around him.

"You're not," Xavier scoffs and walks away.

"This is gonna be trickier than I though," Tyler told me, "dad hit me with a curfew. we need to go if I'm gonna make it back in time."

"I've got some dead weight I need to lose first. Meet us behind the parking lot when the fireworks start," I told him. I handed the stuffed panda to the vendor, "you see that sad, lonely woman over there? She needs this pathetic validation more than I do. Would you mind distracting her?"

Once the vendor has Weems distracted, I help Y/N's hand to sneak away to the parking lot. We finally saw the parking lot and Tyler. We walked up to him, and saw that he had something in his hand.

"Hey, before you leave, I wanted you to have this," he told me handing me the file, "it's your dad's police file from when he was at Nevermore. I think it's the reason my dad hates him. You okay?"

"I'm not used to people engaging with me," I told him, " most see me coming and cross the street."

"You're not scary. You're just kinda.... kooky," he told me.

"I prefer spooky," I told him flatly. I felt Y/N silently laugh at this. I looked towards her with a smirk on my face.

       "Oh," he just says.

"Now my train leaves in an hour. We're burning moonlight," I said, still holding Y/N's hand.

"Uh, right, right," he said walking with us. We continued on, until the group of boys that was bothering Y/N and I showed up with bats. I went to fight when Tyler stopped me.

"Hey. Come on, Wednesday. Wednesday," he tried to get my attention, "we can lose them in the crowd."

And that is what we did. We ran into the crowd hoping to lose them soon. I kept a tight hold on Y/N, so I wouldn't lose her in the crowd. As we ran, I ran into Rowan and was sent into a vision. In the vision, a lot was happening, but I did see Rowan die. I finally got out of the vision, and looked towards Rowan. He looked back at me, then walked into the woods. I knew I had to go after him.

"Shit. Wednesday, we need to go," Tyler told me, with Y/N looking at me in concern, "Wednesday, come on. Wednesday!"

"Rowan, come back," I yelled to him, running after him. I could hear Y/N running after me, which I didn't like at all but I continued to run after him. We were now pretty deep into the woods, "Rowan, wait!"

"What do you want? Why are you following me," he asked me in an irate tone. I felt Y/N stop next to me.

"I don't have time to explain, but you're in danger," I told him. He started to chuckle, and I stared at him confused.

"I think you've got it backwards," he told me, then used his power to send me into a tree, but he also did the same thing to Y/N. This caused me to growl at him and to fight against his power, "You're the one who's in danger."

"What are you doing," I asked him.

"Ro-Ro-Ro-Rowan, this is-is-is-isn't you," Y/N told him, and I could tell she was scared, which caused my protective instincts to go into overdrive.

"Saving everyone from you," he told me, completely ignoring Y/N, "I have to kill you."

"The gargoyle, that was you," I asked him, now realizing what was happening.

       "Yeah," he replied, smiling.

"It's always the quiet ones," I said. Rowan then used his power to bring a drawing, of what looks like me, with Y/N hiding behind me, surrounded by fire. Y/N looks shocked at see the drawing.

"The girls in the picture. That's both of you," he told us.

"You want to kill us because of some picture," I asked him.

"My mother drew that picture 25 years ago when she was a student at Nevermore," he told me, "she was a powerful Seer. Told me about it before she died."

"Rowan, put us down," I told him.

"No! My mother said it was my destiny to stop the girls if she ever came to Nevermore," he told me, "because she will destroy the school and everyone in it. Of course, it it was only Y/N then I didn't have to kill anyone, but you had to show up,"

"Rowan," I pleaded with him, "Rowan."

Just then, behind Rowan, a beast showed up and attacked Rowan. This let both Y/N and I down from where we were pinned. I heard Y/N scream, and this caused me to get to her and shield her from the scene. She grabbed my jacket and held on tight. After the creature was finished with Rowan, it turned to look at us, then ran off. I crawled towards Rowan's body to look at him in shock.

~Line Break~

I was back in my dorm, with Y/N sleeping on my bed. I couldn't let her back to her dorm, with my instincts running wild at the moment. I was sitting at my desk looking at both the drawing and my father's police file, when my parents called my on my crystal ball.

"Hello, my little black cloud," my father said.

"So tell us darling, how was your first week," my mother asked.

Let's see. I narrowly avoided death twice, discovered that my father may be a murderer, learned that I could potentially destroy the school, and was mysteriously saved by a homicidal monster.

"As much as it pains me to admit, you were right, Mother," I told them, "I think I'm going to love it here."

Chapter 13: I'm Back

Summary:

Serious stuff.

Chapter Text

Hey, I'm sorry for not posting anything. I have not had a good year. I had been going through some major mental breakdowns, that caused me to be hospitalized, and because of that I have been losing motivation to writing stories. I even lost motivation to post videos on my YouTube channel. I've had breakdowns before, but never to this intensity, but I am sorry for not posting, and I hope you guys forgive me.

Thank you for reading my stories, even if I think they are trash.
