FV and the pipeline…
Chapter 1
Barry's Pov
I want him to pay.
Zoom killed my father right in front of me. It was like time stood still. My body was unable to move. He rushed off with a laugh and by the end of the day my father was gone. My heart is in shambles and my anger increases. The funeral hasn't happened. Something about doing tests. My anger festers, I wanna race him. The others insist that I take a step back, except Cisco.
He's been my rock through all of this. I don't think I would be about to get through this as well as I have without him. If anything we have grown so much closer. I can honestly say he is my best friend. My best friend who I think I'm in love with. I've been staying with him as being around Joe and Iris has made everything worse. It's a little awkward but Iris keeps making comments and Joe keeps telling me not to be upset and we ended up having a fight so living with them isn't an option right now.
What's worse is the team barring Cisco constantly being weary like I'm some wounded animal ready to lash out. I'm not an animal though. I just need Zoom to pay for what he has done to me and my family. I want to beat him in a race and make him pay. To prove I have what it takes to beat him.
“Barry?” I heard from behind me. It was Joe unfortunately. He shifted from one foot to the other with a strange look on his face. I can't quite figure out what it means.
“You're still planning on going after him aren't you?” Joe asks and I resisted the urge to scream.
“I need to do this Joe. I'm sorry if you can't accept this. I need to take him down.” I stated and started to walk away. I hear him mutter something about being sorry too. I was confused and turned back to ask what he meant when I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder and my vision blurred. A wave of betrayal is the last thing I feel before i fall to the ground and everything goes black
When I wake up I'm slow to notice my surroundings. My brain slowed from the tranq dart and hunger. My shoulder hurts with every movement. I was weak. I hadn't stopped to eat much today. When I finally mustered the energy to stand I found the rest of team Flash standing on the other side of the glass each with different emotions on their faces. They had locked me in the Pipeline. I gave them a hurtful look. Just the thought that my team, my family would do this hurts.
Wait, this is not all of them. Cisco is nowhere to be found.
My eyes lock with Joe. I tried to convey all the betrayal I was feeling but he just breaks eye contact. I shifted in pain but was determined not to let them see it.
“I didn't want to do this but this is what's best til you get your emotions in check. You need to let us decide how we do this.” Joe said, still not meeting my eyes again, his voice sturn like when he wouldn’t let me visit my dad as a kid, but almost angry sounding. The others shifted but refused to look me in the eyes either.
“It was a Team decision, Allen. We are just doing what's best for you and everyone. “ Harry says and my heart drops at this.
I turned to him. He was still holding the tranq gun ready for me to make a break for it. He was ready to shoot me again without a second thought.
How could they think that locking me up like a caged animal is going to help me? They are my family and my friends. How could they think they are helping me?
Plus Cisco isn't here and hasn't been here for at least a couple hours. He was checking a lead on a Meta from Earth 2. This wasn't a team decision at all.
“We will find another way to stop him, like we always do Barry we will find a way. Then things will be normal again. ” Iris tells me and I can feel my anger rising.
“And do what? Sit around and wait for him to kill someone else?!! Nothing will go back to normal after this!!”
I told them my voice was rising with every word. Still none of their eyes would meet mine.
“All I have to do is beat him. Then I save the multiverse, the city, and those that I love.” I pleaded trying to get them to understand. To understand my need to best Zoom.
“We can't let you go race him, that's what he wants, you're letting your emotions get the better of you Allen.” Harry replied.
“You can't race him like this Barry just let us decidewhat to do about Zoom.” Joe says.
“You are going to get everyone killed keeping me in here!!” I shouted my shoulder throbs with the movement.
“I'm the only one that can stop him.” I said my voice was still angry but my energy was running low.
Harry steps forward.
“If you race Zoom on his terms you will lose.” He said and they turned to leave and my heart dropped. I got really desperate and angry.
How dare they make this choice for me??!
This was my choice to make. They had no right to put me in a cage.
“NO PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME IN HERE GUYS PLEASE.” I begged desperately to get out of this small cage that I was in.
I continued yelling, screaming, and pleading for them to let me out for what felt like hours.
I thought they cared about me.
“LET ME OUT GUYS PLEASE LET ME OUT!!” My pleas continued to deaf ears.
The cell is getting colder and my shoulder throbs as time passes.
They hadn't taken the tranq out of my shoulder and I couldn't reach it. It starts to burn and I find myself pleading once again for them to take it out but soon the blackness creeps in and I choke out a few more desperate pleas before I pass out from pain and cold.
My mind flutters in and out of consciousness. My body numb from the cold but on fire from the infection. My only hope is that If I die Cisco isn't the one to find me. Knowing him he would blame himself but I could never blame him. My breath catches and aches from the pain.
Why can't I die already? It's too much, it's all too much. It hurts, it hurts. I just want out.

Chapter 2
Cisco's pov
Well that does it, there's no sign of a meta. Or at least one in the area. I kind of felt it was odd that the team sent me all the way across the city to check out a Meta sighting but whatever I can do to help Barry with everything that has happened with Zoom. I'm so worried about him. He must have the worst luck on the planet to have both of his parents killed by an evil speedster.
Joe and Iris aren't helping Barry at all. Apparently they're making everything worse. Which is why Barpry moved in with me. Apparently i'm the only one who doesn't treat him like he's a glass doll. Or at least that's what he told me when I asked. We honestly get along as friends and roommates. He's sweet and kind. He's the best friend I always wanted and if I'm being honest he would be the best romantic partner too.
We are both nerds and work amazingly together as a team. But for right now his best friend I'll have to be. He has more important things to do and focus on. Besides, he wouldn't want to date me.
As I head back to the work van a wave of panic washes over me. It felt like my vibes but instead of visions it was pure emotion. Barry must need my help. I really haven't told the rest of the crew, But ever since Barry moved in we've grown closer. And sometimes I can tell when he is upset. It's like I vibe his emotions. It's quite interesting and I don't know why it only happens with Barry. I have a few working theories but have been unable to test them. I better get back to Star labs.
On the ride there I felt more Vibes of panic wash over me. With each passing moment the feelings get stronger and more intense. Then all at once they vanish. The only time this happens is when Barry passes out. I stepped on the gas and continued on as quickly as I could to Star labs.
When I pulled into the parking lot there wasn't anyone there. I figured at least Caitlin would be there but her car was nowhere to be seen. This worries me. The waves of panic from earlier start to make a bit more sense. I quickly park and rush to get inside.
As I rush inside I take note of nothing out of place. Once in the Cortex, I didn't find anything out of place either. There was no evidence of an attack at all.
“Caitlyn!!”
“Joe!!”
“Harry!”
“Iris!”
I called but the silence lingered. I walked up the controls hoping to find something on the cameras. The moment my hands touched the desk I was engulfed in a vision.
Flashes of events showed. Barry argues with Joe and Harry. Him turning around only to get shot with a tranq dart by Harry. The team placed him in the Pipeline. Not even bothering to pull the dart out of his shoulder.Them arguing again when he wakes up.Then they just leave. They turned the temperature dial down and leave. They left my best friend caged like some wild animal. Barry yelling, pleading, and crying to be let out. He begs for what felt like hours but none of them show back up and then I'm ripped out of the vision.
Oh no BARRY!!!
My brain panics for a split second and then jumps into overdrive as I scramble to get to the elevator. 10 minutes That's how long it will take me to get down there. 10 minutes is what I spend praying to anything and anyone that I didn't make it too late to save him.

Chapter 3
Cisco's pov
The 10 minutes it took to get to the pipeline were the worst I had ever experienced. The worry, the fear I felt was like nothing I had ever felt before.
The elevator is barely open when I rush out to the controls. Once there I quickly open the pipeline and rush over.
My first thought when the door opens enough that I can see him is how could anyone do this. How could someone be this cruel to one of the sweetest people I know.
Once the door opens fully I rush to him. His face is dried with tears. His chest still and for a moment I thought I was too late.
“BARRY!!!”
I shake him and he doesn't move.
“BARRY please WAKE UP. Please be alive, you're my best friend. I CAN'T LOSE YOU.” I said, begging him to move and say something.
A mumble breaks me from my pleading and my breath catches in my throat.
“YES it's me I'm here. I'm gonna help.” I responded and moved him so I could pick him up. His body is cold. He must have been using all his energy to keep warm. Oh my God he must be starving. He let out a pained whine and I apologized and rushed to the elevator as quickly as I could without hurting him more.
Then once again I'm waiting for the elevator to open. Barry keeps making pained noises and I feel more terrible with each whimper, like I could have done something different. When the door finally opens again I quickly rush to the med bay, setting him on a bed. I held his body in a sitting position so I could get the dart out of his shoulder first.
I grabbed some disinfectant and some clamps from the stand next to the bed and turned back to Barry who was mostly still out of it but was still making soft pained noises. I know this is gonna hurt him alot but I need to get this out so I can get him on fluids and get it bandaged up.
“Alright Bear this gonna hurt but I have to get this out ok.” I told him knowing he could probably hear me.
I took a deep breath, sprayed some disinfectant and pulled.
It was like Barry was shocked back into consciousness. He shoots up trying to move away but is too weak to move off the bed.
“Hey hey Barry it's OK. I have to get it out.” I said and he gave the smallest of nods and I pulled again this time it came out with a sickening pop. I quickly start cleaning it out and bandaging it. It was red and had begun to get infected.
Once that was done I helped him lay down the best I could given his shoulder and began hooking him up to fluids to replace what he had lost while trying to keep himself warm. His body is still cold but not near as bad as before. Honestly had I not found him, I would have lost him. I would have lost my best friend. Just the thought makes me mad. The fact that they just left him like this makes my blood boil.
He passed out sometime during this and I made sure to cover him in blankets to warm his body up the rest of the way. His face looked pained and I hate that I can't give him pain killers.
I went to move away but Barry has my hand in a tight grasp. He makes a pained noise again and my heart melts. I managed to pull a plastic chair from nearby and sit down. I'm exhausted and lay my head on the side of the bed. The soft sounds of Barry breathing lures me to sleep.
The sound of Barry's panicked voice wakes me. I snap awake, my eyes locked on his panicking face.
“NO GUYS LET ME OUT PLEASE LET ME OUT.” He screams. He must be having a nightmare. I scramble up and carefully grab his shoulders, giving them a slight shake.
“ Barry hey its ok!!!”
“NO NO LET ME OUT!!” He continued pleading.
“BARRY IT'S OK IM HERE.” I shouted.
This seemed to shock him out of it and his eyes shot open. He looked sort of panicked but his eyes met mine and all the fight left his body.
“Cis-co?”
“Yes It's me. Please take it easy, ok you're still recovering.” I said and he looked confused.
“How did you know I was here?”
“Part of my powers I think? I felt your panic.” I told him secretly thanking the universe that he is ok.
He still looked confused.
“ I don't know why or how but it's like I can feel when you're in trouble” I explained. He gave a small nod then froze. Oh no, something is wrong again. I can feel it.
“What's wrong?”
“I- Do you agree?” He whispered in a meek tone I had never heard from him before.
“What do you mean Barry?” I was confused and worried. He had maneuvered himself into a ball like a frightening animal.
“Do you agree with them putting me in the Pipeline?”
“ Berry I could never. I would never want you to run off and fight Zoom especially with everything that happened. But I would never ever ever agree to put you in the Pipeline. You aren't some craze animal that needs to be locked up. You're human with emotions and setbacks. You're my best friend. I wouldn’t do that to you.” I told him. He smiled and relaxed.
“You're my best friend too.” He said softly and I smiled. A small pocket of peace lingered after that. For a moment things seemed ok
Then buzzing broke the peace we had. I pulled my phone out to see Iris Had texted saying that their mission failed and she and the rest of them would be back soon.
Well shit.
Out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Chapter 4
Barry's pov
Cisco looked upset. Whatever message he got on his phone can't be good. There were only 2 scenarios I can think of and neither are good.
“Cisco what's wrong.” I asked kind of fearing which of the two he would say.
He looked like he was worried but also like he wanted to panic. Whichever scenario it is, we will tackle it together like we always have.
“Iris just texted they are on their way back.”
The world around me numbs And my heart starts to race. I can't. They are gonna lock me back up. I can't go back in that cage again no NO NO. The walls feel like they are closing in and I struggle to breathe. I can feel myself spiral.
I broke out of panic when Cisco rushed over and grabbed my hand.
“Hey it's ok you're gonna be OK.” He says attempting to soothe me by rubbing circles on the top of my hand.
After a moment I'm mostly calm and then Cisco begins gathering things up into a couple bags.
“ What are you doing?” I was confused. He gives me a smile over his shoulder and continues to pack things as he answers me.
“You aren't safe here and I cannot guarantee they won't try and put you in the Pipeline again so we are leaving.”
I smiled no matter what I can always count on Cisco to have my back.
Then his words registered in my brain.
He said WE.
“What do you mean we?” I asked softly. Cisco sighed and turned completely around to face me.
“Look Barry you're my best friend and I know that they will go looking for you if you leave. You're still injured and we will have a better time keeping them away from you if we leave And stick together.” He said looking kinda stressed.
I give him a smile and he quickly packs things in some bags. Then he transfers my iv fluid bags to a carrier. When he is done he quickly lifts me up like I weigh nothing.
“Woah” I said not expecting him to be able to lift me. He carried me to the garage, placing me in the work van's passenger seat. Then without a word he quickly ran back and returned with the bag he packed in record time.
Once he was seated in the driver's seat he turns to me and says,
“Let's blow this popsicle stand.”
When we pull out of the garage he takes the back way out and as soon as we leave , to my surprise it's like the whole building shuts down.
I turned to Cisco to ask what happened and he lifts up his phone To show Iris’s car stuck at the front gate and I smiled.
“This will not only prevent them from going inside but also delay them searching for us.” He says and his phone dings.
I looked over at his phone to find that the group chat we had made for “Team Flash” was blowing up with messages about not being about to get into the gate and building.
Cisco thinks for a moment and then texted.
You will not get away with what you all have done.
He showed me and I nod, showing my approval of the message. He sends it then blocks the whole group.
Then like a bat outta hell we are out of there.
Cisco's pov
Realistically we had maybe a few hours to get the heck outta dodge before the others came after us. I know this but I have no clue where to go especially because Barry would take at least another day or so to get better after being nearly frozen to death in the Pipeline.
That being said, besides the rest of team Flash there aren't too many people who could help us.
“Oli.” Barry said, breaking me out of my thoughts.
“What?” I was confused.
“We need a safe place and the only other person I trust besides you right now is Felicity and Oliver.” Barry said with a yawn. He must still be tired after everything that has happened.
“They are probably the only ones who could help.” I said, sparing a small glance at Barry, noticing his eyes kept dropping as he fought to stay awake.
“Barry, if you're tired, sleep . I can get us to Oliver's. You've had a terrible day and could use it.” I told him.
Barry gave me a small smile but then he frowned.
“But it's like a 7 hour drive.” He protested. Even when he's had the worst day Barry still worries about others first.
“It's the least I can do. I wasn't there to stop them from hurting you. The least I can do is get you somewhere safe.” I told him I was still feeling guilty for not being there.
“Cisco I don't blame you for what happened ok. What matters is you came when I needed you and have taken steps to help and protect me since saving me. I don't want you feeling guilty.” He replied and I felt my heart flutter. He truly is one of the most caring sweet people I have the privilege of knowing.
“How about I drive and if I feel tired then I'll pull over?” I asked and he nodded and said that was fine. I can tell that he's getting tired.
“You can get some sleep and on the way I'll stop and get us food so that you don't starve and you get some rest.” I told him his eyes drooped as he nodded and covered his yawn. As he settled in his seat falling asleep I got a look at the bags under his eyes.
I know he hasn't been sleeping well. He could use all the rest he can get.

Cisco's pov
After about 3 hours of driving Barry begins to stir. He gives me a groggy smile and sits up. He looks like he's gonna say something but is cut off my his stomach growling.
“Well, it looks like it's time for a food stop.” I said and luckily there was a Belly burger nearby.
I pulled through the drive through and ordered 23 burgers and 2 baskets of fries. I know that they thought we were nuts ordering that many sandwiches but I told them we were picking up food for a small party.
Once the food was done we sat in the parking lot eating. I made sure to check Barry's IV. His fluids seemed to be normal and stable so I took it out. We sat for a while eating and enjoying the silence. Once it was time to leave Barry offered to drive. I said no that I could make the rest of the trip plus he's still healing. He reluctantly agreed and we were off again.

Chapter 5
Cisco's pov
I drove for hours after we stopped for food. Barry fell asleep again about an hour into the trip. I sat driving in silence reflecting on what had happened over the course of the week. About what still needed to be done.
Zoom of course was still a threat but at the moment Barry is in no shape to fight him. Honestly facing him so soon after Henry's death won't do him any good. Then of course what to do about Joe and the others too. Not to mention Barry's job at the CCPD.
The ride was quiet until my phone rang. It was a home phone number, probably The West's. I declined it and made sure to turn my location off. That was the last thing we needed. I quickly made sure I blocked the rest of team flash and any home phone numbers, continuing on.
I continued to drive the rest of the way, checking on Barry every hour or so watching the sun set in the sky. Soon I saw the city sign for Starling City and I couldn't be more relieved. We had made it and I am tired and upset still but ready for a safe place for Barry and myself.
Once in town I called Felicity. It rang twice before she picked up. Her voice was tired , sounding like she had been asleep.
"Hey Felicity, I'm sorry to call this late but we didn't know where else to go." I said my voice was shaky. I'm honestly so tired.
"Cisco, what are you talking about? What's going on?" She asked her voice appearing be more serious and more awake.
"The others hurt Barry. We need somewhere safe and Star Labs and Central city aren't safe. Barry suggested going to Oliver." I responded.
"Come to the house. Wait, are you in Starling?" She demanded, obviously worried. It was like I could feel her worried stare through the phone.
"Yes we will be there soon. Thank you! I'll explain when we get to you." I said. I wanted to get to Oliver's as soon as possible. I was relieved. Hopefully Oliver and Felicity would be able to help us figure out what to do next or at least help us hide for a bit.
When we arrived I went to press the buzzer for the gate but Felicity must be watching the cameras because it swung wide open and I pulled inside. I hadn't even parked before Felicity and Oliver were racing outside. I turned to Barry, shaking him awake again gently before they could get to the car. He was groggy but sat up realizing we had made it.
He blinked his eyes sleepy, looking adorable while rubbing the sleep from his eyes. We both stepped out of the car. With me assisting Barry out of the car. Felicity and Oliver got over to us both rushing to Barry and checking on him. I couldn't make out what they were saying. I kept seeing black dots in my vision, all the not sleeping and stress from the day was catching up to me and the last thing I remembered was seeing black and hearing Barry yell my name.
Barry's Pov
I was assuring Felicity and Oliver that I would be ok when I noticed Cisco wasn't looking so good out of the corner of my eye. He didn't look good at all. I turned back to him to make sure he was ok and then he dropped to the ground and I yelled his name rushing over to him with Felicity and Oliver right behind me. My heart raced as I rushed over.
Felicity turned to me with a worried look on her face.
“Barry, was he hurt at all? We need to know." She asked me with a great urgency in her voice.
She looked scared. I couldn't blame her. I was too seeing my best friend drop to the ground.
"No, he did drive us here though, the entire way actually. I don't think he had much sleep though with Zoom and the Metas from Earth-2 running around." I told her guilty that my best friend and the person I trusted the most was suffering because I couldn't beat Zoom. Cisco was always there for me and now he is hurt because I'm not fast enough. Just like how I wasn't fast enough to save my father.
"He's most likely just so exhausted he collapsed. Let's get him inside." Felicity responded and Oliver nodded, picking him up and we headed inside.
Oliver led us to a room with a big bed in the middle. There was a dresser and it was decorated very plainly. I spotted a door that probably led to a bathroom too. Oliver carefully sets Cisco on one side and turns to me. While Felicity checks Cisco over Oliver leads me to the corner of the room.
"Barry I can tell what you're thinking and you're not at fault for this, now you need to get some sleep."
Before I could say anything he cut me off.
"And I know you're still tired. I can see it. We can talk in the morning. You can stay in here with Cisco so he doesn't freak out if he wakes up."
He says giving me a pat on the shoulder as he passes me leaving me in the room.
I sigh not wanting to sleep but heading over to the bed anyway. I layed down on the other side opposite of Cisco. I thought about the day and what we would do next. And most of all I thought about finding a way to stop Zoom so hecwon't hurt Cisco or anyone else I care about again. I turned to look at Cisco. His face looked peaceful. I don't know why but when I looked at him it was like butterflies were fluttering in my stomach. I smiled and I turned away from him and slowly fell asleep again.

Chapter 6
Cisco's pov
I woke up with a jolt, my heart racing. I found myself lying on a big soft bed. I turned over to find Barry laying on the other side of the bed. His arm curled up under his head. He looks cute all curled up like that.
Wait what???
Oh no, nope, feelings and thoughts go away. I can't deal with everything that has been going on and feelings surfacing too. They will just have to wait. Besides, we have more important things to deal with. Barry still has his job at the CCPD to go to plus Central City needs the Flash especially with Zoom running around. Plus we still have to figure out how to deal with the rest of Team Flash.
"Stop thinking so hard." I heard. Barry had woken up while I was thinking. He reached out and poked my cheek. I stuck out my tongue and he gave me a smile. We laid there for a second and then got up.
Surprisingly it wasn't awkward waking up next Barry. To be fair he's like my best friend and nothing we say or do is awkward. He makes me happy and I'm always smiling when he's around.
Nope, I can't start thinking like that again. We have to go talk to Oliver and Felicity.
We quickly headed to the dining room where Felicity and Oliver were waiting. They both looked tired but then again we had shown up late at night. Barry and I took a seat. There was food laid out all over the table. There was everything from fresh fruit to breakfast sandwiches. Barry and I got some food and began eating.
After all of us had gotten our fill Felicity turned to us.
"So explain what happened from the beginning." She said and Barry and I looked at one another and I gave Barry a nod.
Barry told them everything we knew about Zoom and about the night he killed his father. Barry tears up at this part and I grabbed his hand as a silent comfort. He explained how he was upset and how the rest of Team Flash bar me didn't like this. He told them how they used a dart ,one powerful enough to knock out a full grown elephant, and then locked him in the pipeline.
Oliver then turns to me and asks, "Where were you in all this?"
"I had been sent to check out some reports of metahuman breachers but I'm positive that it was a distraction because they KNEW that I wouldn't agree with their decision." I explained. I told them how when I got back how I got a vibe of Barry being put in the pipeline and raced down there to get him out. I explained that if I hadn't come back when I did Barry wouldn't have survived much longer because of how low the temperature was and how much energy Barry had been using to keep himself warm and alive.
Felicity gasps and Oliver looks angry once I'm finally done getting them fully caught up.
"First things first Barry I'm going to call CCPD and fill them in without putting your secret identity in danger hopefully. Then I'm going to take a trip to Star Labs to make sure that they didn't mess with anything or take anything." Oliver said standing up looking mad and ready to punch someone.
"Star labs is currently on complete lockdown." I told him and he nodded.
"Last thing is I'm gonna have Felicity take you to get new phones and clothes, don't argue the rest of the Team could still track you through them. Plus you guys are going to need spare clothes and I don't think you're going to be back in Central City for a while." He finished giving Barry a look when he tried to protest. Oliver then headed off to call Barry's boss.
___I'm a line break fear me!!!!___
Captain Singh pov
Today has already been hell. First one of my best detectives called out and now my Csi is nowhere to be found and his phone is going straight (haha my story definitely isn't straight) to voice-mail. Joe is not answering at all. He didn't even tell me why he called out.
With Zoom around, crime levels have skyrocketed. Not to mention the fact that Zoom hospitalized Henry Allen.
Apparently it was touch and go for a while. Joe made a point to have no one tell Allen that his dad was alive which is a decision that I didn't really agree with. Honestly Joe really has changed recently and not for the better.
My phone rings and I pick it up.
"Hello CCPD this is Captain Singh." I said and a gruff voice came on the phone.
"Hello Captain Singh this is Mayor Queen calling. I needed to speak to you on an urgent matter." The voice now identified as Oliver Queen said.
" At the moment I am trying to find where my CSI is." I began and he quickly replied, " That's what I'm calling to talk to you about. He is currently resting and recovering in Starling City.
I felt fear run through me like ice water. Allen was the youngest of all my workers and I pushed him alot but I never wanted anything to happen to him.
"Explain." I demanded the truth. I heard Mr Queen talking to someone else for a second then someone else's voice came through the phone.
"Captain, " a voice said in a meek voice that I knew belonged to Barry Allen said.
" Allen what's going on why are you in Starling City?" I asked.
"Captain, can I trust you?" He asked me and I was shocked but said yes. Allen sounded afraid and I'm concerned as to why.
He told me about the night he got struck by lightning and how it gave him powers. How he used those powers to save people as the Flash. He told me about how Zoom came from an alternative earth and was intent on taking Barry's speed. He was the reason that all these doppelganger metas were roaming the city. He explained how Zoom killed his father to get to him and I felt a twinge of guilt.
Then he explained that he was angry and wanted to go after Zoom. How the rest of his team barring Ramon had locked him in the Pipeline under Star Labs with the temperature turned deadly low.
This infuriated me. How could they just do that? I thought I knew Joe working with him for so long. Then I hear a third voice take over that I recognize as Mr. Ramon.
He tells me how he also gained powers but took a while to develop. How he gets flashes of stuff. The truth about Harrison Wells. The breachers when they come to this earth and similar things.
He told me the rest of Team Flash sent him on a wild goose chase for a breacher that didn't exist. How he came back found Barry in terrible shape helping heal him and driving him to a trusted friend who oddly enough was Oliver Queen. When did Barry have time to make friends with the mayor of Starling City?
"Allen before we go any farther I need to tell you something." I told him. He sounded uneasy but told me to go ahead.
"Your father isn't dead," I began and I heard him gasp. " It was a touch and go a while but he's recovering. Joe didn't want you to know until we were sure you were gonna make it or thats what he told me. " I heard him sob and Ramon comforting him.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you before." I apologized and after his sobs subsidies he began talking again.
" It's not your fault you thought you were doing the right thing."
"I will make it right though. I'm gonna tell Queen to call Starling City hospital and have them prepare a private room. I'm gonna make sure Dr. Allen arrives there safely you have my word." I tell him wanting to make thing up to Allen. I hear him give a small thank you and he hands the phone back to Mayor Queen who quickly gets the details of Dr. Allen's transfer and we hang up. After the call I was reeling and thinking over the massive amount of information that was revealed today. I knew one thing: I will be making a visit to the West's household soon. But first I need to talk to the rest of the staff and get Dr. Allen over to Starling City.

Chapter 7
Captain Singh pov
Alright time to get a move on it. I flagged down one of my officers to gather everyone in the front. He gave me a weird look but did what I asked. I sighed. How could things go wrong so quickly? How could Joe do that to Barry? Regardless it's. time to fix things, starting with Dr. Allen.
I made my way to the front overlooking all of the officers and workers of the CCPD. Confused faces greeted me and I sighed but remained calm.
“So it has come to my attention that one of our own has hurt a very vital person to the CCPD.” I began my voice unwavering. Whispers and more concern broke out at this.
“Mr. Allen was injured by the actions of Detective West.” Gasps broke out and a few curses were let out. Despite all the grief everyone gives Barry, he is considered the little brother of almost everyone here. As the youngest CSI and worker for the CCPD we can be a bit protective. He's been put through more than enough grief in his life at this point.
When he was in a coma at least one person was checking up on him on a daily basis even when he was moved to Star Labs. When he returned to work everyone walked on eggshells not giving him as hard of a time including myself. None of us thought he should be back to work so soon but he insisted.
“He is currently recovering with a trusted friend in Starling city. However as I'm sure you all know that this all comes after the death of his father. That is false. They were able to stabilize doctor Allen earlier this morning. Detective West kept this from him until they knew he would make it. I have to confirm that he is stable enough to be moved to Starling City, however given the circumstances of Doctor Allen’s injuries,it goes without saying that this ONE needs to be kept under wraps, and TWO I need volunteers to help me do a police escort to make sure he arrives safely.” I finish and the entire precinct is angry but looks eager to help.
I start giving out orders until I get a game plan together. I called the hospital, only to find that Major Queen had already called and confirmed the move. All they were waiting on was the escort.
I quickly got a team together handing over temporary control of the precinct to Officer Edwards, an older man that had been with the CCPD long before I had. I knew he would take good care of things while I handled the transfer.
Once at the hospital I ordered the few officers I had to follow and protect the ambulance. I myself sat inside it. Surprisingly Doc Allen was awake. He didn't say anything until we got on the road.
“My son speaks very highly of you, you know”
I was honestly shocked. I'm a hardass, only because I expect the best out of my employees, but still.
“Have no idea why, honestly.” I told him. He smiled kindly and explained.
“He said that although you are quote on quote ‘a hardass’ to everyone you only want to protect your employees and your city. He finds that very honorable and brave. He respects you a great deal.”
“I respect Mr. Allen a great deal as well honestly. He's a very smart man and he is going to and already has done so many amazing things.” I said, Doctor Allen nodded in agreement.
“I always knew he would.” He responded.

Leonard Snart's POV
Although we didn’t have a heist planned we find it beneficial to keep an eye on the CCPD. Mick of course thinks that it's a waste of time and Mark and Hartley think it's too risky. However it's times like this that it comes in handy.
The CCPD are providing an unscheduled escort which is odd all in itself especially since Scarlet hasn’t been seen in the last couple days and Barry Allen didn’t show up for work today not that we thought he would will the death of his father at the hands of that evil speedster named Zoom. Couldn’t blame the kid. Doc Allen was a good guy even while in the slammer. A Lot of us respected him.
Hartley quickly hacks into not only the hospital records but CCPD’s as well and what he finds makes us all freeze. Looks like Doc Allen survived and is being transported to Starling City Memorial Hospital. That answers one question but leaves us with a few more.
“Hartley, see if you can hack into Star Labs and find out anything about where Allen is. Mark, Mick, Lisa we’re going hunting for a speedster.” I said and they all jumped into action. Time to show a certain speedster that Central City belongs to us.

Felicity’s Pov
As soon as we finished the call with the Captain I quickly drug Cisco and Barry to the car and we set off to get them some new clothes and phones. The both of course tried to protest but Oliver put a stop to that by insisting that Barry was like his little brother and needed nice things and Cisco did as well.
We went and got both of them new phones and then headed to a clothing store that Oliver had privately rented out so that they could shop without people bugging them. I dragged them from section to section, both of them picking a few things here and there. I quietly grabbed a couple things I had seen Barry or Cisco had looked like they had wanted. Once we had been to every section I dragged them to the changing rooms to try on the stuff and maybe play a bit of matchmaking.
Honestly i don’t know how they hadn't realized their feelings for one another yet i mean it’s obvious to everyone around them but them. Time for a little bit of a matchmaker move.
I grabbed a pair of skinny jeans that were black and a red kind of showy shirt and shoved them at Barry telling him to put them on. He looks weird to me but goes into the changing room. While he is changing I turn to Cisco who was fiddling with his new phone.
“Cisco is everything ok?” I asked. He didn’t look up at first furiously typing on his phone. When he stops he frowns at his phone but looks up briefly, nodding. Just when I’m about to ask if something is wrong Barry comes out of the changing room and Cisco looks up, his face blushing when he sees Barry.
“Do I look ok?” Barry asked hesitantly.
“Yea Bar you look great.” Cisco manages to say his voice only slightly stuttering. Barry give Cisco a big smile and happily turns to the changing room to try on another outfit. Cisco curses and starts typing frantically on his phone. Man this is going to be harder than I thought that’s for sure.

Hartley Pov
To my surprise, Star Labs was in lockdown mode. While that made things difficult to hack into it, it was not impossible. I did have to deal with someone fighting my attack on the server, but they must not be physically in Star Labs. I temporarily block their access to the server and continue my way into the Star Labs server. Once in I noticed that most of the files were gone but the camera files were not.
I quickly scan the camera footage from the last 72 hours on fast forward and find something that shocks and horrifies me. Quickly I pick up the burner phone i was left and call Snart. As soon as he picked up I told him that he needed to see something. We may be criminals but even we wouldn't do this. Looks to me like Snart’s gonna have a couple more on his hunt list. Things are about to get very interesting.

Chapter 8
Len's pov
I was hunting that boogeyman of a speedster when Hartley called. He said that it was important so I called the team together in one of our safe houses. The entire way there I was thinking about Barry, the Flash, the fastest man alive. He has had such a difficult life, but he never stopped trying to do good and convince others to as well, even if you're a criminal like us rouges.
Once we got there we found Hartley by the computer in the corner of the main room. He had a grim expression like he had seen something very disturbing which is shocking considering almost nothing rattles him anymore.
“Hartley what did you find?” I asked slightly afraid of what he found.
He looked pained, which means it was BAD.
“When I hacked into the Star Labs database most everything was gone.” He started.
So then what could he have found???. Wait he said most that means something was found. I motioned for him to continue.
“What was there was the camera logs and it's probably best if I show you.” he finished and motioned us over to the computer screen.
All I could do was stand as watch as “Team Flash” shoots Scarlet in the back LITERALLY. Apparently the whole team voted on it.
Wait…
Ramon isn't there…
There is NO WAY he would agree to that.
We watched as they locked Barry in the Pipeline. Watched him beg and plead and wither as time went on. Hell they didn't even take the tranq dart out. Barry tries and fails to try and take it out but soon gives up. He begins to shiver and I see red. Knowing his metabolism he was probably starving and unable to heal himself due to the lower temperature. If he isn't gotten out soon he will die.
“And they call us monsters.” I heard Mark say.
Eventually he passes out and Hartley switches to the Cortex cam. A couple hours later it shows Ramon walk through the doors and call for the others getting no response. We see him walk up to the computers and then he freezes when he touches the computers. Then in an instant he's rushing down to the Pipeline frantically.
We watched as he waited in the elevator to take him to Scarlet. He looked really worried with each passing minute. I glanced at Mick, Lisa, and the rest of the rogues. They looked as worried as I am but I could tell their anger was rising. When the elevator finally opened Ramon rushed to the doors of the Pipeline quickly bringing the cell Scarlet was in up.
The moment the doors opened he rushed over pleading Barry to speak, to move, to show any sign that he wasn't dead.
“BARRY please WAKE UP. Please be alive, you're my best friend. I CAN'T LOSE YOU.”
For a moment I thought Barry was dead. I took a quick look at the others.
Lisa was silently crying.
Mark looked ready to murder the rest of team Flash.
Shawna looked horrified.
Axel actually looked ready to throw up.
Mick's eyes were fiery with anger.
Hartley's face was ghost white.
Then when I turned back to the screen, Barry woke up just barely.
Cisco reassures him and bridal carries him to the Med Bay.
I turn to Hartley for an explanation but he shakes his head and motions us to continue watching as he switches to the Med Bay cam.
We watch as Ramon runs around trying to heal Barry. He tries to pull the dart out. Barry shoots up in pain and Ramon reassures him.
“Hey hey Barry it's OK. I have to get it out.”
On the second try the dart comes out and Barry passes out.
From then on he hooks Scarlet to an IV and covers him in blankets. He grabs his hand but when he goes to pull away Barry looks pained so Ramon pulls up a chair, and rests his head on the bed falling asleep.
I thought this was it but some while later Barry starts having a nightmare from the look of it and Ramon jolted awake by Barry's screams.
“NO GUYS LET ME OUT PLS LET ME OUT.”
My heart broke at this. People called us monsters. But only a monster could do this to someone like Barry.
We may be Villains and criminals but I don't enjoy hurting those who don't deserve it.
I watch as Ramon gets Barry awake and gets his attention.
Cis-co?”
“Yes It's me. Please take it easy, ok you're still recovering.”
“How did you know I was here?”
“Part of my powers I think? I felt your panic.”
Barry looked confused at this.
Wait, Ramon has powers?!?!? Why didn't he use them when Mick and I kidnapped him and his older brother?
It sort of makes sense given he was so close to the initial explosion. I went back to watching the screen.Barry still looked confused.
“ I don't know why or how but it's like I can feel when you're in trouble”
Barry froze, something else was wrong.
“What's wrong?”
“I- Do you agree?” Barry asked in such a meek unsure way that I couldn't help but want to tear the others apart for what they had done.
“What do you mean Barry?”
Barry was curled into a ball like a frightening animal.
I wouldn’t do that to you.”
At least Scarlet had someone else on his side. Ramon is a good person and a true friend from what I could tell.
Barry smiled and relaxed.
“You're my best friend too.” He said softly.
“Awwwww they are adorable.” Lisa says fawning over the two. Oh no she's gonna go into matchmaker mode.
Then the moment is lost when Ramon's phone buzzes. From the look on his face it isn't good.
Barry asks him what is wrong and his answer sends Barry into a panic attack. Once Cisco calms him he then rushes around and starts packing things up.
“You aren't safe here and I cannot guarantee they won't try and put you in the Pipeline again so we are leaving.”
“What do you mean we?” Barry asked him. Ramon sighed and turned completely around to face him.
“Look Barry you're my best friend and I know that they will go looking for you if you leave. You're still injured and we will have a better time keeping them away from you if we leave And stick together.” Ramon said looking kinda stressed.
Ramon quickly packs things in some bags. Then he transfers Barry's IV fluid bags to a carrier. When he is done he quickly lifts Scarley up like he weighs nothing. Which he probably doesn't at the moment.
He carried Barry to the garage, placing him in the work van's passenger seat. Then without a word he quickly ran back and returned with the bags he packed. Then like a bat out of hell they are gone.
I turned to the rest of the Rogues.
“Looks like we have work to do.”

Chapter 9
The reunion
Barry's PoV
I'm nervous as I'm pacing the floor. The escort that was with my dad was supposed to be here an hour ago. Did they get into a car wreck? Did Zoom find out he survived? A million bad things race through my mind. I feel a comforting hand on my shoulder in the middle of my panic. I turned to find Cisco giving me a comforting smile that made my heart flutter. I'm so glad that I am not alone in all of this. The past year and a half has been crazy and difficult. I do not know what I would have done had I not met Cisco.
“Look, I'm sure he's fine. No one but us and CCPD knows he survived. He has a full escort and Singh is harsh but he seemed serious.” he told me and my worries lessened a bit. His smile was comforting. Honestly Cisco's presence in itself was comforting. We stood there in silence until the sound of multiple cars flooded our ears.
Within seconds 5 cop cars and an ambulance pulled up. The back of the ambulance opens and Captain Singh steps out and comes over while paramedics begin preparing to move my Dad. He smiled softly in a way I had never seen before. Honestly I really can't say I've ever seen him smile, especially at me.
“I want to apologize. When Joe told me not to tell you I thought it was just him trying to protect you.” He started looking very guilty. Once again I am shocked by his behavior. Who is this, and where is my stern boss?
“Joe said that it might make things worse if you knew he was alive and then he didn't pull through. I believed him because believe it or not I knew all along that you were trying to prove your dad innocent,”
I started sputtering in shock. And Captain Singh continued.
“I secretly hoped you would. That case never quite seemed right. I'm glad that you were able to do it the right way. I know you could have gotten him out at any time in the last year or so but you did the right thing. I'm so proud of the person you've become and the person I hope you will continue to become.”
I had tears in my eyes by the time he was done. I wanted to say something but he cut me off with the wave of a hand and motioned for the cops to pack it back up.
“You don't need to say anything. Just promise me when you go to fight that monster again you won't go in without backup.”
“Yes Sir.”
He nodded and turned to get into a police car ready to leave but turns back around.
“And Allen don't worry about work til this all is over with Zoom and you're well rested. We need our top CSI well rested when he can come back.” he says back to his stern face.
Wait, what? First he smiles at me then he compliments me and now I get a break off of work.
I go to sputter out a thank you but the captain just turns and gets into a cop car to leave. I shook my head trying to process what had happened today. I turned to the ambulance ready to see with my own two eyes that my dad was OK but deep down I was terrified. What would I say?
Sorry I nearly got you killed playing superhero??
“Barry just breathe and go to him.” I heard Cisco say and with a breath I slowly moved towards the ambulance.
I round around the door and I see him alone and awake.
“Hey slugger.”
Meanwhile at the CCPD
The force had made a unanimous decision to hold one Joe and Iris West in holding cells till the captain got back. They had sent out someone to get Dr Snow and Harrison Wells' doppelganger, yes they knew about him, too. The department may tease him from time to time but Barry was the youngest of the department and they didn't quite appreciate someone hurting him. The fact that Joe was supposed to be part of the department and was partly responsible made it even worse.
When they finally got Snow and Wells, they placed them in a different cell which was a good idea in the long run, because once Wells and Snow started talking it was over for the Wests.
Snow didn’t want to but had her own powers start to surface. They had threatened to lock her in a Meta Cell if she didn't cooperate. They had told her he was only supposed to be there long enough for him to calm down but Joe and Iris lied. Why?? She said that Barry wasn't listening to them and not being an obedient little puppy in love with Iris.
Apparently all of the planning started with them. Barry had a fight with them before Zoom even came. On what she didn't know but she had a theory. After the fight Barry moved in with Ramon and grew distant from the two of them. He grew closer to Cisco and they didn't like that or more like Iris hated that. Zoom's arrival had jump started their little plan. From there they made Henry a target by calling him back to the city under the impression that Barry wasn't doing so well and needed his father.
From there the pieces fell into place. When Barry started getting upset about his dad they used it as an excuse to lock him up. The only problem was her, who they threatened, and Cisco. Cisco they couldn't fool or threaten, not without him warning Barry or seeing it in a vision of his. So they send him on a wild goose chase. The only thing they hadn't counted on was him coming back earlier than expected.
Wells has only because he was told that Barry was being reckless. With how Barry was acting it made sense because Wells didn't know him very well. Wells only wants to stop Zoom and go back with his daughter to their Earth after.
When it was time to interrogate the Wests they stayed silent not speaking which made sense with Joe being a cop. You know the whole anything you say can and will be used thing. Eventually though, Iris got impatient and opened her mouth.
She spilled how Barry was in love with her but had been brainwashed. How she was gonna make him see that he belonged with her and not Ramon. How he needed her father and her to keep him from running wild. She just sounded more crazy the more she kept talking. They definitely had enough proof to lock the Wests up and prosecute them for what had been done.
In a safe house across town
“That takes care of them. Now to contact Ramon's family.”

The Ramons, Dante, and the Rogues
Dante's pov
(Day after the escape)
Damn it! Where is he? Cisco should be here by now. He knew about this family get together. He said he would be here and I'm honestly worried. After the whole kidnapping thing with Cold we made up and started talking and hanging out more. I've tried talking to our parents about their behavior towards him but they as always didn't listen.
My mother and father begin to make their way over with some random coworkers of theirs. I groaned and mentally prepared myself for the prodigal son speech. The one they should be singing praise about is Cisco. Then before they can get to me the back gate busts open and in walks Captain Cold and his villain friends. There is a smirk on his face as he points his cold gun at random people as he turns and makes his way closer to me and I tense. After the run in with him I started having panic attacks when my body got too cold.
He stops a couple of feet from me and I feel my heart ready to beat out of my chest. A panic is unavoidable at this point.
“ Looks to me you are missing a family member…” He says and my heart stops and I'm filled with dread. No no no he couldn't, The Flash would have stopped him.
I take a step towards him in anger. The panic of the cold disappears and is replace with a growing worry for my little brother.
“What did you do to my little brother??!!!” I demanded my hands shake in anger.
He smiles in a twisted, crazy way and laughs.
Oh no he couldn't. Why would he come to gloat if he had? At the moment nothing is making sense.
“I can see that you all are confused. Allow me to shed some light on some things but before that. Everyone who isn't a direct family relative needs to get out before I make some ice sculptures.” He warns and aunts, uncles, cousins, and others scramble out the back gate. I look to my parents who look terrified but are safe at the moment. Well as safe as they can be at least in this situation.
“Now that It's just the family. I have something to show you. Rathaway the video.” He said gesturing to some guy with glasses and a green and black outfit that reminded me of Green Goblin from that Spiderman movie Cisco likes.
A weird hologram-like screen pops up showing the inside of some scientific looking building. We watch as Who we assume is some of the workers shooting the Flash in the back with a sleep dart of some kind. They move him to some underground prison. They don't even bother removing the dart from his shoulder. He eventually wakes up arguing with those who put him in there. Then they walk away with him pleading for them not to leave. This is sad but what the hell does this have to do with Cisco?
“What does this have to do with my brother Cold?” I said, voicing my question.
“Keep watching and you'll find out….” He says pointing to the screen. I notice he wasn't happy about the Flash being locked up. It's weird you would think that would be something that he would like given he is a villain.
The screen changes to the camera showing a control room of sorts. Time has passed as the timestamp is different. I'm about to ask about what this has to do with Cisco when he walks into the control room calling for people I didn't know. He makes it to the control panel, places a hand on the desk and just freezes. His face pales for a second or two And then he just snaps out of it and rushes to the elevator.
The screen changed again showing the Flash in the cell. Cisco rushes to the cell he begins to check to make sure that the Flash is alive. Once he does he drags him to the elevator and they end up in a medical area with Cisco helping the Flash. His mask is off but his face is blurred. The video ends after that. What the hell is going on?????
What the hell since when is Cisco friends with the Flash? Also that did nothing to explain where Cisco is.
“He helped Flash and then they both headed to a friend's place in Starling city. Go to Oliver Queen and he'll know where they are.” the guy in the green and black said and with that Cold and his buddies left before I could say a word.
What the hell?!?!??!?
Looks like I'm going on a road trip to Starling City. I gather my things and go to leave when my parents snap out of their frozen shocked state.
“ Where are you going?” my mother asks panicked.
“To find my little brother.” I state leaving them. I may not have been the best brother but I'm trying to change. If he is in trouble then I'm going to be there to help him. I only have one question. Where is his roommate in all of this? They were kinda close. It doesn't make sense that Cold knows about this but Barry doesn't.

Chapter 11
Dantes pov
I drove through the night only stopping once or twice. A million scenarios played in my head. When I arrived in Starling City early in the morning, I stopped at a café trying to figure out how I was going to find Cisco when I ran into a thin woman with blonde hair. She reminded me of Cisco's roommate Barry.
He had moved in with Cisco awhile back. He was a total nerd just like him and totally my brother's type. He isn't out to our parents but he is one hundred percent head over heels for one Barry Allen.
“I'm so sorry.” I tell her and she gives me a surprised look.
“Cisco?!” She exclaimed.
Wait!!! She knows Cisco!!! She should be able to help me find him.
“No! I'm his brother. I'm looking for him and was told I could find him here in Starling City.” I tell her and her face goes from one of confusion to worry.
“Come with me. I know where he is .” She says grabbing several drinks on our way out the door. Once outside she leads me to a very fancy car. She motions for me to get in and we are off.
“My name is Felicity by the way.” She offers, keeping her eyes on the road.
“Dante.” I say and the rest of the ride is silent. I think about my brother and how I've been trying to be a better brother about how much I've learned about him from being a better brother.
We don't go far, maybe 8 or 9 blocks when we pull into a hospital and my heart drops. I must have made a face because Felicity reassures me that Cisco is fine. We get out and head in past the front desk and into an elevator. We keep heading up until the door opens. We head down a hallway til I see my little brother pacing outside a hospital room.
“Cisco” I say and he turns quickly, looking very shocked.
“Dante, what are you doing here?” He asked and I went over to him and told him everything. How cold showed up during the family reunion and for some reason seemed to care about Cisco. How I know he was working with the Flash and how the rest of his team had literally shot The Flash in the back.
He stood there as I told him everything that I knew. He was silent and had a look that made it look like he was trying to piece everything together. He had that thinking face on that he always has when trying to piece a problem together.
“Weird that Cold would go out of his way to tell your family about what happened but he has a strange way of showing he cares.” a voice says from my left and I jump looking to find Barry, Cisco's roommate, in the doorway of a room. He looked calm but his stance said he was stressed and hiding it.
Wait, why is he here?? Why are they in a hospital to begin with? How does Cold fit into all of this?
“Sorry Bar, I might have to tell him.” Cisco says apologetically and grabs my arm dragging me into the hospital room. Barry shuts the door behind us and I get a look on who's hospital room this is. On the hospital bed in the middle of the room was an older man maybe in his late 50s. When I looked closer I realized that It was Henry Allen. He was recently proven innocent of murdering his wife and was supposed to have died by an attack from Zoom. Wait What???
Cisco had told me about him. He was very worried about how his roommate was taking his father's death.
“Do you know who the Flash is?” Cisco asks.
Why is he asking me that?
I shake my head no and shoot him a confused look. Cisco and Barry sigh and suddenly Barry is vibrating like the Flash does.
Oh
Oh fuck
Shit
Shit
Shit
I feel a laugh come sputtering out. My brother's roommate and crush who he's totally In love with is the Flash….
“You never do things by halves little brother.” I say and Mr Allen chuckles from his hospital bed.
“Welcome to my world.”

Chapter 12
Matchmaker
General pov
Two weeks passed since Cisco's brother found him and Team Arrow plus Barry, Cisco and Henry, who was released a couple days after his transfer, had been trying to come up with a plan to take on Zoom. Well Cisco, Barry and Oliver were. The rest of them were playing Matchmaker…..
So far Barry and Cisco had been locked in a closet, which didn't last long due to Barry's powers. Barry had been purposely tripped which resulted in him and Cisco falling to the floor in a heap despite his superspeed. Both quickly got up with noticeable red faces. Barry had been sent to get Cisco for dinner. He had just gotten a shower and was shirtless. Barry came to dinner, his face beet red not meeting Cisco's eyes all night.
Other than some red faces and shy glances they hadn't gotten any closer to what they wanted to accomplish. It is time for that to change.
Singh’s pov
I'm sitting here with Team Arrow aka Oliver Queen and his team, Barry, Cisco, a couple of Rogue criminals, Cisco's brother Dante and a man the public thought was dead. Barry and Cisco were trying to come up with ways to defeat Zoom with Team Arrow while surprisingly Dr. Allen was chatting with the Rogues and not about Zoom.
“How long do you think it will take before my son dates that boy?” Henry or Dr Allen asked.
“It's honestly gonna take a miracle to get those two together.” Snart remarks his eyes watching them.
“There is no way they are that oblivious,” Hartley remarks.
“As much as I loathe to admit it, Ramon is too intelligent.” he finished reluctantly.
“ I think it will be Cisco that makes the first move.” Lisa says as she observes the two trying to come up with a plan with now just Oliver. The rest of team Arrow had somehow managed to make their way over.
“There is no way my brother will make the first move.” Cisco's brother says shaking his head
“ I agree it's going to be Barry.” Felicity states with confidence. The group starts going back and forth and I sigh. We were here to fund a way to take down Zoom. But they do have a point as much as I hate to admit it those two were perfect for each other. Honestly I think knowing the both of them and seeing how they interact that they both would confess if pushed the right way. I turned to Dr. Allen who wasn't a part of the arguing.
“Those two are going to need the right push. What do you say to a bit of matchmaking?” I asked and he just smiled.
“Aren't we a little too old to play Matchmaker.” He teases.
“Maybe so but there is no way those two are getting together otherwise, despite being constantly late to work Allen is a good guy and deserves a happy ending.” I finished.
“Well then let's go get something set up while they are distracted then. I'm not getting any younger and would like to see my get married before I die.” Dr Allen jokes. We need some help if we are going to pull this off.
Oliver's pov.
I'm discussing ways to help takedown Zoom when I notice Barry's dad and boss sneak out of the room While everyone else was arguing back and forth. My phone buzzed and it was Dr Allen.
We need a dinner date set up for tonight to make sure that Barry and Cisco are distracted long enough for us to get it together.
Of course this was what it was about. Everyone had been trying to get them together all week without success. As much as I hate playing Matchmaker, especially with Barry who I consider as my little brother, it looked like they would need help. I sent a quick text to the family's private chef and made sure he could get everything ready in time.
While I looked away long enough to get everything squared away Barry and Cisco had come up with the solution to taking down Zoom. I asked them to explain it again before texting everyone else in my team to go help with setup. Once done the Rogues have planned some controlled mischief to keep the two of them occupied. If this doesn't work I don't know what will.
