Chapter Text

Lunar sat on the balcony of the Pizzaplex over the atrium, staring at the hologram on the stage to show that the Pizzaplex was about to open. Him and Eclipse separated quite recently, with Eclipse keeping the original body since Lunar wanted a smaller one. The moon themed animatronic checked the time and date before standing up. “Alright, the daycare should be clean enough for when the kids arrive. I think Eclipse is handling check-ins today? I should ask…” The light blue animatronic said before messaging his brother.

Lunar : Eclipse, are you handling check-ins today? Just wondering since I don't trust the human staff to do it since they tend to fuck up.
Eclipse : I am, I don't trust them as much as you do Lunar. I’ll be heading back to the room after check-ins until it's nap time.
Lunar : Sounds good!

Lunar started walking after messaging their brother, he decided to take the kids cove shortcut to get there despite the elevators being the fastest way, he enjoyed the walk. It took around five minutes to reach the daycare through kids cove before he entered through the wooden doors.

As soon as Lunar walked in, he could see Eclipse getting out the sensory items that they kept for the kids that regularly show up. “Is that all the sensory items?” The moon themed animatronic asked, causing his brother to jump from surprise. It took a moment for the sun themed animatronic to compose himself before replying “No, but you can grab the rest since they're lower down and I need to get ready for check-in since the parents are going to be here soon. It's mostly just the sunglasses and stim bracelets left.” “Got it, love you brother. See you at nap time!” Lunar said before opening the left most cupboard and pulling out the box of labeled sunglasses. “Love you too Lunar.” Eclipse replied with a smile before grabbing a couple sheets of name tags for the kids.

“Alright everyone, it's nap time! Eclipse is grabbing the pillows and blankets for everyone but for now, let's be a big help to him and start heading towards the nap area.” Lunar said loud enough for everyone to hear while signing it for the deaf children. The light blue animatronic felt someone tug on his pants and looked down to see Hailey, a five year old with light sensitivity so she has sunglasses. “What do you need Hailey?” Lunar asked with a small smile as he crouched to her height. “C-can you carry me? I don't usually ask but I really want to be carried right now…” She shyly asked. “Of course I can starbeam, up we go!” He replied before picking the girl up.

“Alright everyone, grab a partner and let's go to the nap area.” Lunar said and signed as he adjusted his grip on the child in his arms. They waited for everyone to grab a partner and made his way towards the nap area with around fifty kids in tow, where Eclipse was already setting up. The sun themed animatronic smiled when he saw Lunar and the children. “Alright everyone, I hope you had fun because now it's time for a nap. We’ll be sending you to your afternoon activities after nap time is over, let me and Lunar help you guys get some rest for now.” Eclipse said as he was handed Hailey, who seemed to fall asleep in the short time it took to walk over.

Lunar walked over to the lights and dimmed them to a point where him and Eclipse could still see but the kids could sleep and started to lead some kids to their spots. It didn't take long until the brothers noticed they were just a few blankets short. Eclipse exhaled and pinched between where his nose would be before saying “alright, there's a first time for everything. I’ll be right back, stay here.” The sun themed animatronic called the wire and hooked it in so he could grab a few more blankets from the balcony room.

Lunar stayed there and walked over to the small CD player to turn on the sleep music for the kids before he felt light-headed and fell forward, luckily not close enough to the kids to hurt them. Everything went dark for a moment. He couldn't tell how long he was out but when he was conscious again, he was surrounded by and covered in blood. The moon themed animatronic looked at his hands that were covered in the stuff before covering his mouth as tears started to go down his face. “Lunar I’m back, what-?” Eclipse stopped in the middle of his sentence, dropping the blankets in his hands. “I’m sorry, I don't know what happened…” Lunar mumbled.

Eclipse looked between his brother and the remaining kids who were crying in fear and quickly took the kids to an empty party room before going to Lunar. “Lunar, what happened while I was gone?” Eclipse asked, sitting next to him on the floor, not caring about blood on his pants. “I-I don't know, I passed out and then there was blood. I…” the light blue and stained red animatronic stuttered through tears. The sun themed animatronic took a breath before saying “I'm gonna call Chica, she’ll help the children calm down while I help you clean. We’ll close early and notify the parents that something happened.” The moon themed animatronic just nodded before heading towards the employee shower as his brother called Chica.

Lunar slid to the floor once he entered, crying harder as he fully realized what happened. A kid was dead and it was his fault, they don't know what happened but he knew it was himself. Soon enough, Eclipse entered and shut the door behind him before turning to Lunar. “Chica is with the children and the daycare will be closed for a few days.” “Who wa-?” “You don't want to know bud, I'll explain to the parents of the kid that something happened and you go rest after you're clean.” Lunar nodded slightly before his brother got a bucket and a soft washcloth to scrub him. 

“Eclipse?” Lunar asked. “Yeah?” The other asked as he scrubbed at the hands of the light blue animatronic. “I love you… I'm sorry…” “I love you too Lunar.” Eclipse said as he finished scrubbing his brother’s hands. Lunar nodded numbly as his brother continued, he knew he would never forget this day as much as he wanted too.

July 16th

Chapter Text

It has been a few weeks since July 16th and Lunar hasn't come out of his room much since then, only coming out to eat and drink since he believed himself to be bio-organic. The experience has really shaken up the moon themed animatronic to the point where Eclipse ended up watching the daycare kids after they opened up again. Eclipse couldn't even get his brother out to at least help bring down pillows and blankets for the children since leaving the kids unattended could lead to some bad consequences.

Eclipse was worried to say the least, he felt bad for his brother but that amount of blood around someone after waking up from passing out would traumatize anyone, even himself and he used to kill people. The sun themed animatronic's rays spun around as he thought, the daycare was closed for the day and he still couldn't get Lunar out of his room. “What can I do? It's not healthy for him to stay in there, especially since they're bio-organic…” he mumbled with his head in his hands. The black and orange animatronic continued to think until he got a message from Glamrock Chica.

Glamrock Chica : Eclipse, I would like to talk to you. Could we meet in the cafe?

Eclipse looked at the message for a moment before replying.

Eclipse : Sure, I'll head over now. 
Glamrock Chica : Alright, see you soon.

Eclipse got up and stretched before he started towards the cafe in the entrance, glancing back at the balcony before leaving. He quickly made his way to the cafe in the entrance area, bells jingling constantly since he didn't want to keep the other waiting. He opened the door and saw Glamrock Chica sitting at one of the tables drinking a coffee, presumably one she made herself. It didn't take long for her to notice Eclipse. “Hey, over here!” She called.

Eclipse walked over and sat down across from her as Glamrock Chica put down her coffee. “So Eclipse, how’ve you been? How's Lunar too? I haven't seen either of you as of late.” She asked. “Well, I've been taking care of the kids in the daycare and Lunar hasn't come out of their room since then… I’m worried about him, Chica.” The sun themed animatronic admitted, his rays drooping down.

Glamrock Chica hummed in thought, tracing the rim of her coffee cup as she did. “Well,” she started “first of all, you have to check on him dude. I know you're not bio-organic but they are, you gotta make sure he's taking care of his basic needs. Second, have you even tried talking to them?”

That question caused Eclipse to look to the side, giving the glamrock animatronic all the information she needed. “Eclipse… I know you're not good with your emotions but you gotta go talk to him.” She said, pinching the area between her beak and eyes. “I know, I've been meaning to but-” the sun themed animatronic started before getting interrupted. “No buts! If it's about the daycare being too dirty, I'm sending multiple staff bots to clean it so you can talk to your brother.” Glamrock Chica said before checking the time. “Oh crap, I’ve got to go grab Cassie from Freddy's green room! They should’ve just finished recording, bye Eclipse!” With that, the other animatronic ran out with her now cold coffee.

Eclipse left the cafe soon after and made his way back to the daycare. He was about to go down to the main area before deciding to take Glamrock Chica’s advice to talk to Lunar and walked over to the teleporter. He pressed the button and took a second to regain his balance before sliding down the ladder. He walked over to Lunar’s door and knocked before saying “Hey Lunar, can I come in?” It took a second but eventually the response of “yeah, come in…” came.

Eclipse opened the door and saw Lunar sitting on his bed, knees pulled to their chest. There were a few empty water bottles in the trash can which relieved the sun themed animatronic a bit. ‘ At least he’s drinking something. ’ he thought before sitting down next to Lunar in the bed. “ Are you okay?” Eclipse asked with his rays spinning a bit. Lunar looked over at his brother with a quiet “what do you think?” The sun themed animatronic made a face before saying “yeah, that was a bad question…”

They sat in silence for a bit before Eclipse asked “do you want to talk about it?” Lunar glanced over at the other before sighing and saying “I just… don't know what to do. I want to help with the daycare again but I… I don't know how the kids will react, they saw me do that. I don't remember doing it but it had to have been me… I was the only one there…” Tears welled up in the light blue animatronic’s eyes as they spoke. Eclipse looked at his brother and placed a hand on his back in comfort, this only made Lunar start crying.  Eclipse proceeded to grab Lunar and hold him close, quietly saying “it's alright sunshine, just let it all out. I’m right here hun.”

It took a while but eventually Lunar calmed down but him and Eclipse stayed close, just slightly repositioned so he could see. They sat in silence until “Hey Lunar, I have a couple questions.” was heard. “hmm?” The moon themed animatronic hummed, looking up slightly. “First, have you eaten yet today?” “No…” the light blue animatronic answered quietly. Eclipse sighed before continuing “alright, we're getting you food in a minute then because it's important. Second, how do you feel about starting a YouTube channel?”

“Are you done yet, Eclipse? You’ve been setting it up for so long now.” “Almost Lunar, I just have to move our models up a bit…” “Ew, why do we look like that?” “Lunar, that's literally what we look like.” “Nu-uh.” “...The fuck you mean- y’know what, nevermind. The models are in place now, all we have to do is start recording. Do you want to do the intro or should I?” “I want to!” “Alright, go for it!”

Eclipse moved the mouse to the record button on a separate screen before moving it back to the video they were going to be watching and gave Lunar a thumbs up.

“Hello everybody and welcome to the Lunar and Eclipse show!”

Chapter Text

It's been a couple months since Eclipse and Lunar started their channel. They've had some complications such as Lunar hiring Roxanne to be a Daycare attendant (she was fired shortly after) and Lunar also buying an extremely overpriced space apartment from Roxanne even though they had rooms in the daycare. It's still been fun overall despite those shenanigans.

It didn't take long for Eclipse to notice that his brother wasn't going to bed some nights, he can't judge though since he only noticed because he was pulling all-nighters on the weekends. He ignored it until the third time he noticed and decided to see where Lunar was. Eclipse slid himself through the tunnel to his room and climbed up the ladder. “Lunar, are you here?” He called out before seeing a light blue figure on top of the play structure.

Eclipse sighed and jumped into the ballpit before mumbling “we tell the kids to not climb up on these but he's doing that…” The sun themed animatronic started climbing the play structure like a ladder and was about to say something until he saw what was happening on the top. 

Lunar was sitting on top with a plush of Eclipse and Glamrock Freddy and a couple barrels. “Oh Lunar, you're so successful for getting Freddy.” He said in a slightly deeper voice than normal while holding the Eclipse plush. “Oh yeah, you're so pretty and all that. I could kiss you all day!” They said picking up the Glamrock Freddy plush doing a slightly higher deep voice. Eclipse held in a laugh before saying “are you enjoying yourself brother?”

Lunar screamed in surprise and threw a barrel which narrowly missed Eclipse as he hid the plushies behind them. “I don't know what you're talking about.” Lunar quickly said. “Oh really now because it seems like you were playing pretend with the plushies just now.” Eclipse said as he rested his head in his hands with a teasing smile. Lunar proceeded to throw the plushies and say “nothing happened, I was just cleaning the plushies!” Eclipse climbed the rest of the way up and said “mhm, sure you were. I’m gonna ignore it for now.” “Ignore what?! I was just cleaning the plushies, nothing was-!” “Lunar, I know you like Freddy.”

Lunar went silent for a second before saying “What do you mean?! Freddy is a very cool person obviously but it's not like that…” “Lunar, Sunbeam, honey, I've cleaned your room while waiting for nap time before. I see what you hide in there.” Eclipse explained with a hand on the other's shoulder. “What do you mean? I hide things like that in a secret area!” The moon themed animatronic said while rocking on his feet. “That I helped you set up.” The sun themed animatronic replied. There was silence followed by “listen, I don't care if you like Freddy. I just want you to be happy with whoever you choose but that was a little funny to watch.” “You suck...” “I know!”

Lunar groaned in frustration “Just, I can't get a date with Freddy. I can't get a date with anyone!” “Have you tried?” Eclipse asked. “What?” “Have you tried asking Freddy on a date?” The light blue animatronic’s voice went a bit strained as they said “of course I have! He’s just busy a lot of the time so it hasn't happened yet!” The black and orange animatronic sighed and said “Lunar, I know you haven't asked him on a date. We still have the neural link, remember?” “Why do we still have that?” Lunar asked, confused. “It was needed after the Roxanne incidents.” The smaller animatronic made a face at that statement. “Oh yeah…”

“Let's get down from here before one of us ends up getting one of our feet stuck again.” Eclipse said before climbing down the play place, followed by Lunar who jumped down with no concern of possibly breaking his legs. “Lunar, I'm gonna be honest. You need to shoot your shot.” The sun themed animatronic said. “What do you mean ‘shoot my shot’? Freddy is too much of a rockstar to be with someone like me… I mean look at me! I have this weird jester outfit and shoes I can't get off! Plus, he can't even lay on me comfortably if he wanted to because I'm shorter than him! What am I even good for?!” The moon themed animatronic said while walking away. “Well, first of all, you're amazing with the kids and you're much more emotionally intelligent than me. Second of all, you're not allowed to put yourself down. I’m the only one allowed to make fun of you because we're brothers.” Eclipse said while following Lunar.

“I still don't think he would accept it, he's the king of beauty and he's got a whole rocker thing going on.” Lunar said, ignoring the second part of what Eclipse said. “He’s asked you to come do fashion multiple times, that shows he cares to some extent at least.” Eclipse explained with his rays spinning once. “Well how do I get him then?” The smaller animatronic asked with their hands in front of him in a questioning gesture. The taller animatronic let out a sigh before responding “I don't know. I don't exactly understand attraction of any sort or affection that isn't familial, I'm AroAce.” The moon themed animatronic changed his hands to be finger guns before saying “Cool! That's… cool…” 

The two started to head to the ballpit as Eclipse said “Which is why it was weird when you suggested to Chica that we go on a date.” “Yeah, I realized that not long after and I already called her and canceled it.” Lunar replied before sitting on the fake flower patch in the middle, Eclipse sitting next to them. “Listen bud, you're a wonderful person and you have a lot of worth. Whether someone decides to go out with you is objective and doesn't determine your worth as a person. If they can't see how amazing you are and how much you can give them, then they aren't worth it.” The sun themed animatronic said as he retracted a few of his rays to lay his head on top of Lunar’s head. “Well, Freddy is amazing and has a great personality…” the moon themed animatronic said while playing with his own ribbons. 

“There are things you like about him, yes, but will it ruin your life if he says no? Will you stop helping with the kids again?” Eclipse asked with a hum. “No, I love the kids! They were so happy when I was comfortable enough to help again…” Lunar replied quickly. “Exactly, he doesn't control what you do with your life, he’s just someone you can add to it. Even if he says no, there's other people out there and you’ll find someone someday.” “Alright…” The two stood up after that, Eclipse stretching after he did. “Will you help me with Freddy?” The moon themed animatronic asked as he made their way to the bridge. “I was planning on it.” The sun themed animatronic replied as he walked out of the ballpit.

“Any advice?” Lunar asked after they got out of the ballpit. “Just be yourself. If someone doesn't like you for you, then move on. It might hurt for a bit but I'll be there to support you, we can even play kingdom hearts together.” Eclipse said with a smile. “Alright, be myself. Got it, just have to be confident.” Lunar mumbled to himself.

The two continued to go towards the teleporter before Lunar said “oh yeah, I should probably mention that I've been feeling more murderous lately.” Eclipse made a face before replying “I’m gonna take a quick look at your programming real quick…” and moving behind the other to check their code. There was a beat of silence before the sun themed animatronic said “yeah, it looks like a couple lines of my code latched onto you when we separated. It wasn't going to be a clean transfer so it's probably a side effect.” The moon themed animatronic hummed in response. “Which lines were they?” “The kill code.”

Lunar took a breath in with his hands together before pointing them at Eclipse in slight annoyance. “Oh great.” They said sarcastically. “Yeah, I'll have to hook you up to the computer in my room to run a scan on your systems to see if I can do something about it since I can't just remove it. You’ll be charging while I do this since you haven't been to bed for the past few days to my knowledge.” Eclipse replied as him and Lunar walked up the stairs. “And how do you know that?” Lunar asked with an eyebrow raised. “...I plead the 5th.” The black and orange animatronic replied before running to the teleporter. “Hey, get back here!” The light blue animatronic yelled, chasing after.

Glamrock Freddy and Cassie walked to the outer doors of the daycare before Glamrock Freddy crouched down to Cassie’s level. “Listen Cassie, I didn't want to bring you with me but since Chica is still busy with work I had to. I’m going on a date with Lunar and Eclipse is going to watch you, you better behave. Don't. Ruin. This.” The bear animatronic said as Cassie replied “got it, I’ll try my best!” Glamrock Freddy got up and said “good” before walking forward, not seeing the shit eating grin Cassie had on her face before following.

“Now, where's Lunar?” Glamrock Freddy asked himself before hearing Eclipse say “well hello there” from inside the play structure. “Oh hello, I'm here for Lunar” The bear animatronic said with a smile. “Oh yeah, I forgot that was today.” The sun themed animatronic said as he made his way to the bridge. “Just something before I call him out of our room. You hurt them in any way, whether it's emotional or not. I will hunt you down and no one will find you afterwards.” There was a glare as that was said before the yell of “Lunar, your boyfriend is here!” was heard, causing Lunar to run out onto the balcony and yell back “We’re not dating yet you twink! It's a first date to see if it works out!” before jumping into the ballpit to get down.

“Well, it's nice to see they have some fire in them. I like that in a person.” Glamrock Freddy mumbled as Cassie fake gagged at that. Lunar came out of the ballpit not long after and walked up to the glamrock and said “Hey Freddy, I tried to clean up as much as I could after the daycare closed but couldn't finish so I'm sorry if it's a little messy. Are you ready for the date?” “Yeah, I'm ready. It's fine if it's messy, my room is a little messy itself so it's alright!” The bear animatronic responded with a smile. “You didn't do that well of a job, there's still plushies everywhere…” Cassie said as she picked up a plush of Monty. “Cassie, we’re not rude to others.” Eclipse said before finally getting off the bridge and picking up the child by the back of her shirt like a cat.

“Anyway, what's your idea for our date? I figured you didn't want to do traditional date ideas so what do you have planned?” Glamrock Freddy asked with a tilt of his head. “Oh yeah, that! I was thinking we could probably run around and play physical games since I know you like being active!” Lunar was walking around as he explained as their voice shook a tiny bit from nervousness. The glamrock animatronic hummed in response before saying “sounds like a plan, given Fazerblast involves running arou-” He cut himself off after hearing something fall behind him. The bear animatronic looked over and saw Cassie next to the barrels.

“Oh no, I'm sorry! I’ll fix it, don't worry!” Cassie said as she picked up one and tried to stack it, only for more to fall. “Oh boy…” Eclipse mumbled as he glanced at Lunar. It didn't take long for Lunar to walk over and say “stop messing with them, let me fix it.” before picking up specific barrels and stacking them carefully. Glamrock Freddy glanced over at the sun themed animatronic with an eyebrow raised, silently asking for an explanation. “He can't help it, I'm pretty sure it's programming.” Was signed in response by the orange and black animatronic, which was given a nod in acknowledgement.

“Anyway, our date, yes! Sorry” Lunar said after the barrels were stacked. “No, I understand. Programming is a… uh…” Glamrock Freddy trailed off, not wanting to curse in front of Cassie since Chica would kill him so he changed the topic. “Well, where do you sleep? I assume you have rooms in the daycare but where are they?” “Oh, we have rooms up in the balcony! Roxanne helped us set them up!” The moon themed animatronic said with a smile. “Oh really? You’d have to show me sometime, I want to see how well she did.” The glamrock responded, causing the other to blush a tiny bit. “Y-yeah, maybe! She did really well, we have a small TV up there in case we don't want to go to the theater!” Lunar said with a smile and got the response of “That's great, I would hate to sit on the plastic if we ever watch a movie together!”

Glamrock Freddy paused for a moment, thinking ‘Cassie’s way too quiet…’ before seeing her with a barrel. “God fucking damnit…” The bear animatronic mumbled and pinched the bridge of his nose before saying “Cassie put the barrel down.” Cassie quickly dropped the barrel into the ballpit and innocently replied “what barrel? You must be seeing things, Freddy.” Lunar was silent as they flexed his hand as their side while mumbling “she messed it up again…” The child continued to mess with the barrels, saying “I love watching him get angry.” Eclipse leaned his arms on the faux brick wall, watching before warning “I would stop, you won't like it in a bit if you keep going.” This caused the glamrock animatronic to grab the girl lightly by her sleeve and pick up a barrel before saying “if you don't stop and behave, I'm going to hit you over the head with this barrel.” 

Lunar heard this and grabbed a barrel before saying “why wait? COME HERE!” Cassie screamed and got out of Glamrock Freddy's grip before yelling “Freddy, your date’s gonna kill me!” Eclipse quickly ran over and grabbed Lunar, saying “nope, not doing that. Let's calm down alright? I know Cassie keeps messing up your organization but you can't hit her with a barrel. Just continue your date and I'll try my best to fix the barrel organization.” The sun themed animatronic grabbed the barrel from Lunar and walked into the ball pit to find the other barrel. Glamrock Freddy walked over, placing the barrel down in the process, as the moon themed animatronic took deep breaths. “Can we move to the play structure? I think being in there will be less overstimulating for me right now.” Lunar asked quietly. “Sure, if being in there will help you calm then that's alright with me!” The glamrock said with a smile and lightly grabbed Lunar's hand to go towards the play structure.

Cassie sat next to Eclipse, resting her right arm on her knee as the other stacked the barrels in what he thought was the correct organization order. “Are they always this crazy?” The brunette asked, tilting her head to look at Eclipse. “Not crazy, irritable is the word you're thinking of.” Eclipse started with a glare and a small ray spin. “But as of recently, yes.” Cassie let out a hum before standing up and stretching, saying “I’m gonna mess with them more.” The sun themed animatronic raised an eyebrow and replied “you can do that but our separation wasn't kind to him, so I suggest that you don't.” The girl thought about it for a second before saying “I'll be fine, I survived once. I can do it again.” She ran towards the play structure as Eclipse sighed and continued to try to organize the barrels. “She's such a troublemaker I swear…” he mumbled.

Glamrock Freddy was actually enjoying this date with Lunar quite a bit, the two were hanging out on the highest level of the structure that wasn't the roof. He was about to say something until Cassie was heard saying “Freddy and Lunar sitting in the structure” while giggling. “You know there's a whole other play structure right?” The bear animatronic asked with a forced smile. “Yeah, but I like this one.” The girl replied with a shit eating grin. ‘This is exactly why I didn't want her here.’ Glamrock Freddy thought before saying “Then me and Lunar will move to the other one” and trying to get out. This caused Cassie to quickly go “actually, Chica and Roxy are on that one so it seems more fun…” before climbing down towards the bridge.

Lunar groaned in frustration before hearing Glamrock Freddy ask “anyway, what else do you have planned for our date?” The moon themed animatronic looked at the other before saying “oh yeah, I ordered some food for us since we’re both bio-organic and I thought it would be nice! I made sure to order some healthy things amongst other things, I got a message saying the delivery person should show up soon!” “Sounds great! Although you seem a bit distracted, are you alright?” the bear animatronic asked, stretching his legs a tiny bit so they wouldn't get cramped. “Yeah, I'm fine… how did you get Cassie anyway?” Lunar asked, seemingly forcing themself to stay calm. The glamrock animatronic started to explain before noticing that the other seemed distracted by something outside the play structure.

Glamrock Freddy looked outside to see and saw that Cassie messed up the barrels again. “You're really pushing all his buttons Cas.” Eclipse mentioned before trying to pick up some of the barrels. “Aw really? I'm just playing like how a kid is supposed to!” Cassie responded. Glamrock Freddy sighed and looked at Lunar before asking “are you sure you're alright?” Lunar seemed to get increasingly angry while saying “I’m fine, it's fine. Don't worry about it, it's fine! It's fine! CASSIE I WILL FIND YOU AND I’LL BURY YOU ALIVE!” before leaving the play structure, prompting the bear animatronic to do the same. 

“Clearly this isn't going to work today because someone keeps being a brat!” Glamrock Freddy said as Cassie ran to him to hide behind. Eclipse was standing next to Lunar and asked quietly “are you crying?” “No no, I'm just seething with anger.” Lunar started before glaring at Cassie and mumbling “I just really want to strangle you right now…” The girl hid further behind the bear animatronic and mumbled “Freddy, your boyfriend scares me.” “Not my boyfriend yet, officially anyway.” the other responded, glancing at Cassie as he said this. The moon themed animatronic took a deep breath before saying “I'm gonna take a walk to clear my head because if I stay here longer I might just lose it." and walking towards the exit, slamming the doors closed on his way out. The sun themed animatronic sighed and mumbled “Jesus Christ…” under his breath.

“He seems mad at you Freddy.” Cassie said while looking at the doors. “Nope, they're mad at you Cassie. You got him past their boiling point and now he's pissed.” Eclipse explained before turning around and yelling “Why are you here?!” Glamrock Freddy and Cassie turned and saw Roxanne leaning on the faux brick wall, her hair in a low ponytail. “Hey ‘Clipse, your brother pushed me into a wall so hard it cracked. It's kinda hard to walk right now” Roxanne said with her head resting in her hands. “And those walls are steel, that's not good. I’m gonna go check on them.” The sun themed animatronic said before quickly running out.

Roxanne closed her eyes and sighed before asking “hey Freddy and squirt, how did your date go?” “I think it went well!” Cassie said which was quickly followed by Glamrock Freddy saying “it would've gone better if someone didn't keep annoying my date on purpose!” The wolf animatronic hummed a bit before responding “yeah, sounds about right coming from the pipsqueak.” Cassie seemed ready to argue before the bear animatronic interrupted to ask “do you think it'll work between me and Lunar? I mean, as long as I don't have to bring Cassie again. I’m asking because you're closer to them than me.” Roxanne hummed in thought and sat down before saying “it should, he’s a bit excitable but a good person at heart. They’ve been changing a bit so that's something you should take note of.” “Alright, I will. Don't worry!” Glamrock Freddy responded before leaving the daycare with Cassie.

Chapter Text

When Eclipse took the job to get rid of a Fazbear location the public wanted gone, he knew a couple of things. One, he was going to be the one driving because he sure as hell didn't trust Lunar to drive. And two, he was going to have Lunar being the one to break the bulk of the location since they definitely needed to blow off some steam, it was also so he could call the employer if anything was needed. The sun themed animatronic soon saw the location and turned into the parking lot, not bothering to use his turn signal since he was the only one on the road at this time.

Eclipse quickly parked in one of the many faded parking spots before asking “Alright Lunar, we’re here. You remember what you need to do?” and turning to the other. Lunar unbuckled and opened the truck door before saying “yeah yeah, tear down the location and tell you if I need anything.” The moon themed animatronic got out and got the bag of tear down materials out of the truck bed. Eclipse let out a short sigh before throwing Lunar a walkie talkie so he didn't have to go inside the location with them.

As Lunar walked into the old Fazbear location, Eclipse pulled up the cameras with the password he was given by the contractor so he could watch inside. The light blue animatronic made a face as he walked inside and saw the stage. “I still don't understand why the lead changed from Freddy to Chica for our location, seems kinda unnecessary.” He said while placing down the bag and looking inside. The black and orange animatronic hummed before replying “probably theming or they probably just wanted to get rid of the ‘bad bear rep’ the company has or something… would've been easier to just not make a bear for our location in the first place.” The last part was mumbled.

Lunar just nodded with a hum, although the nod was fuzzy due to the shitty cameras before they were switched to look through the other cameras. They placed down the bag on the floor and looked through it before finding the sledgehammer. “There it is…” he mumbled before pulling it out, only to lose their balance and the hammer breaking the old Chica animatronic on the stage. The silence stretched for a bit before the moon themed animatronic started to laugh a bit before saying “I just killed Chica.” “I’m sorry, you what?!” Eclipse yelled over the walkie talkie before switching back to the stage camera to see a fuzzy blue figure and a yellow figure that was now on the floor.

Lunar continued to laugh while saying “her body is just on the floor.” Eclipse was silent as he listened through the walkie talkie before pressing the button on the side and saying “I’m going to do another scan on your systems when we get back to the daycare, the code situation seems to be worse now.” “aw why? I don't feel like anything is wrong in my systems so I must be fine.” the moon themed animatronic replied before picking up Chica’s head and saying “y’know what ‘Clipse, I think I'm going to keep her head as a trophy.”

Eclipse barely processed what was said before hearing a thud in his truck bed and turning his body to see Lunar dropping the head in. “We could probably get a good amount of money from all the items here, they're really old aren't they? They must be antiques!” The moon themed animatronic said while making their way to the driver seat window to look at his brother. “We don't really need the money, the things here belong to Fazbear. As much as I hate the company, I don't want to get arrested or scrapped for stealing.” The sun themed animatronic replied while looking at the other. “Oh, you're no fun.”

Lunar walked over to the side of the building and saw an ATM. “Hey, you think you can break into an ATM?” They called across the parking lot. “Um, no? Why?” Eclipse called back, followed by the sound of a car door closing. “Well, it's time to learn because we're taking it with us!” was yelled, followed by the sound of metal hitting metal. “Lu, don't tell me you're doing what I think you're doing…” the sun themed animatronic mumbled before watching the other walk around the corner of the building with an ATM.

Eclipse sighed before walking over and grabbing the ATM from Lunar to put it back before looking at them. “Alright, I'm only going to ask this once and I want a serious answer.” the sun themed animatronic started. “And what is that serious answer you're looking for Eclipse? Do tell me.” Maroon eyes glared down at off colored yellow and purple eyes before asking “Who the hell are you?” A small laugh came from the moon themed animatronic before he said “You don't need to worry about who I am, just what I want and will offer you” in a deep voice before going back to normal and saying “I should probably break down more of the inside but I need more firepower to do that. Could you do that for me brother ?”

Eclipse grit his teeth and glared before taking out his phone to call the employer as Lunar or whoever it was walked back inside the building. The sun themed animatronic watched the cameras through his now open truck door as he called the employer, to tell them that he both needs more firepower and to tell them what's happening. Inside, the moon themed animatronic was using the other animatronics to help break the inside along with using a pistol to break the Golden Freddy animatronic in the kitchen. He looked at the generator and read on a screen that said “Not Enough Energy ”.

‘Lunar’ kicked the generator with a groan before saying “not enough energy? I have enough energy, I'm Eclipse !” There was a pause before they mumbled to himself “No, I'm not Eclipse… I’m Lunar. Not Eclipse” as they tore down more of the building. The moon themed animatronic was breaking the inside of the office before hearing Eclipse over the walkie talkie. “Alright, good news! The animatronics here aren't expensive thankfully, they're off brand animatronics so they weren't made by Fazbear. The extra firepower should be here in around a few minutes to half an hour because they have to make sure the drone will be safe for take off.” The light blue animatronic nodded before replying “Peachy, just peachy. I’ll come outside to wait with you.” He broke a few cameras on his way out, earning some frustrated mumbling over the walkie talkie.

‘Lunar’ walked out of the front and opened the passenger door to grab their water bottle from the cup holder and drank a bit of it. He took a breath after and looked at Eclipse before saying “Do you want to know what the funny thing is ‘Clipse ? It's just been me this entire time.” The sun themed animatronic glared at the other before saying “Oh, I'm well aware. I want to know who the fuck you are.” The last part was said with a low growl in his voice. The moon themed animatronic laughed before replying “Oh, he's mad. You’ll find out who I am soon enough. Bye bye for now.”

‘Lunar’ then fell forward, causing Eclipse to quickly scramble from his seat to catch the other so they wouldn't hit his head on the rim around the car door. The light blue animatronic then took a sharp breath in before shooting up and asking “what happened? Why are we at the location? I thought we weren't going until later?” The orange and black colored animatronic spun his rays for a second before replying “well… I think there might be something wrong with your programming. Wrong in the way that there seems to be another AI in there that's been pretending to be you for at least a good half an hour I'd say…” 

Lunar made a face of disappointment before shaking it off and asking “what did this thing do with my body?” Eclipse's rays spun again, this time a bit slower. “It may or may not have broken the Chica animatronic that was inside along with other things that weren't supposed to be broken, like the cameras.” The moon themed animatronic looked annoyed before climbing back into the truck and slamming the door shut before buckling up. “Screw it, I'm not doing this today. We can do it tomorrow, I refuse to fucking do this today.” The sun themed animatronic closed his laptop with a hum and put the keys in so they could leave for now. 

“Just so you know, I will be doing some scans on you when we get back.” Eclipse said, glancing over at his brother. “Good, I can charge while you do that.” was the muffled reply. “Chica’s head is still sitting in my truck bed too.” “I honestly don't care right now.” The rest of the car ride back to the Pizzaplex was filled with a comfortable silence between the two, only the low sound of the radio filling the space.

It's been a good hour since Lunar and Eclipse got back home and got set up in Eclipse's room. The light blue animatronic was snoring lightly as he slept while both charging and being hooked up to the modified arcade cabinet turned computer. Eclipse's eyes scanned the screen as he looked through his brother's code, looking for the mutated kill code.

After a bit, Eclipse groaned in frustration before slamming his faceplate into the joystick and buttons. This was shortly followed by a ping sound, causing the sun themed animatronic to glance up at the screen.

D4WN
Are you alright, Eclipse? You seem frustrated.

Eclipse raised an eyebrow at the message and replied “I don't know Dawn, maybe I am frustrated because I've been looking for mutated code for the past hour.”

D4WN
Well, you didn't have to be rude about it. >:(

Eclipse lifted his head and stretched before going back to scrolling. “Y’know Dawn, I could always make a second AI to keep you company at some point. Probably after I code a voice for you.” 

There was no reply from the AI so the sun themed animatronic started humming a song as he continued to look. Eventually, he saw a line of code that didn't look quite right and highlighted it. “Dawn, scan the highlighted code please.”

On it!

The fans inside the machine became loud as Dawn started to scan the code, causing Eclipse to sigh and say “I really need to buy you a new processor, the arcade one isn't working that well anymore.” He scrolled through the notifications on his phone while waiting since he couldn't do anything on the computer while the AI was scanning the code. It took a few minutes, but a ping eventually rang out.

Huh… that's strange…

The sun themed animatronic raised an eyebrow at that. “What is? What was up with the code?” he asked, confused.

D4WN
The code is the kill code like you thought but it seems… aware? It seems to have rooted itself deep into Lunar’s code, even if you wanted to remove it now, it could potentially break Lunar’s systems to a point beyond repair.

Eclipse sighed before asking “So, we’re screwed either way? Damned if we do and damned if we don't?” He glanced at the screen of the modified arcade cabinet, waiting for the response. It was slow, but eventually it appeared

D4WN
Unless the AI is somehow not violent, yes. I doubt that though due to the footage that was sent to the editor from your and Lunar’s systems.

Eclipse pushed himself away from the cabinet before sitting on an almost broken chair he put in his room, he was supposed to be repairing it but the system scan was more important. “I still don't know how they get that footage…” was mumbled before speaking louder “What's the likelihood that Lunar's systems won't break if I remove it?”

There was more whirring coming from the cabinet before the ping sounded.

D4WN
There’s about a 3% chance that it won't break Lunar's systems. The likelihood of their systems being able to be fixed if they broke after removal is about 0.5%

The sun themed animatronic thought for a bit after hearing that information. “So my options are to leave a dangerous code in my brother or to take a 3% chance that his systems won't break…” He let out a sigh before replying “Dawn, unlatch the cable. I… I need some time to take in this information. I also need to find you a more powerful processor…” 

D4WN
A new processor would be preferable, this one is overexerting itself due to the modifications. Unlatching the cable now.

Eclipse walked towards Lunar and leaned their sleeping form forward to unhook the cable after it was unlatched, carefully hanging it back up after. “Hey, Dawn? Can you set an alarm for about 2 hours before the daycare opens?” He asked while taking out a second charging cable and plugging it in.

Alarm set, goodnight Eclipse. Sweet dreams.

The sun themed animatronic smiled and turned off the light before putting Lunar in a more comfortable sleeping position and connecting himself to a charging cable. “Goodnight Dawn” was the reply before Eclipse quickly entered rest mode for the rest of the night.

The fairy lights in the room glowed a soft blue color, the lights shaped like little moons and suns as they gave the room a calming feeling. The AI in the computer would smile if it could before closing out all the tabs Eclipse left open so it could enter rest mode too. It finally closed out all the tabs and let out a silent sigh before thinking about Eclipse's words about a second AI from earlier. It said something causing a quiet ping to ring out that no one but itself heard.

A second AI and a voice would be nice… I can't wait until that happens.

It's been happening again, Lunar hasn't been going to bed some nights. This time it was noticed because Eclipse installed cameras in the room and daycare. He thought it was because of him playing with the plushies again but that was only partly true, some nights the moon themed animatronic was pacing around or just standing around, the latter being very unsettling. The sun themed animatronic decided to say something after the fifth time the pacing and standing happened.

Eclipse climbed up to the balcony and saw Lunar near the security desk before purposefully falling backwards into the ballpit below. He popped back out not long after with a grimace before mumbling “We should really clean this, it's disgusting” and walking over to the bridge. “Lunar? You're never usually up this early on weekends.” The sun themed animatronic said as he made his way over to the security desk.

Lunar seemed to be staring off into space holding an Eclipse plush until they noticed said animatronic walk up. “oh, hello Eclipse, how are you on this fine morning?” was said with a smile, although the smile seemed off. Eclipse narrowed his eyes at that before replying “I can immediately tell you’re not Lunar, I know my brother and he doesn't smile or speak like that.” the moon themed animatronic glared and took a breath before replying “what makes you say that? Of course I'm your brother! Maybe I’m tired and that's why I'm smiling like this, kids to take care of and all that!”

Eclipse glared down at his ‘brother’ before saying “The daycare is closed on weekends, Lunar also isn't one to act condescending so you're not them.” ‘Lunar’s’ smile dropped at that and scoffed “oh, I’m being condescending? Well, with the way you handled some of the parents when we shared a body I was bound to pick something up.” The black and orange animatronic narrowed his eyes at the other. “This whole charade has been going on long enough.” He took a step forward, the bell on his shoe ringing as he stomped his foot on the plastic floor “who are you? I scanned Lunar’s code, I know how he acts, and I know you’re not them.”

‘Lunar' grimaced before responding “you're always so damn perceptive. There's always two AI’s, one representing the sun and the other being the moon. Y’see, it's so empty in his head, there's nothing really to do.-” Eclipse interrupted what the other animatronic was saying “You're not allowed to insult them, only I am since I don't mean it. You definitely mean it.” The moon themed animatronic glared at the other, the eyes no longer the off color yellow and purple but red and green. “Anyway, I was finally able to come out, he was unconsciously suppressing me until recently. And you…” the light blue animatronic walked up to Eclipse, who was still glaring, and pulled him down by the ruffles around his neck “you’re just an insecure puppy with nothing else to do.”

Eclipse lightly grabbed ‘Lunar's’ wrists and pried them off, this might not be his brother in control but he didn't want to dent their casing on accident. “You're very wrong, I'll tell you that much.” The black and orange animatronic replied as the other walked towards the play structure, something catching his attention. The light blue animatronic picked up the Roxanne plush, the plush having her regular design of a low ponytail with a racing jacket and pants. “Roxanne Wolf… the dumbest person I know but in comparison, she's still much smarter than you are.” The sun themed animatronic raised an eyebrow and asked “you done yet?” with a quiet mumble of “I’d have half a mind to shove a melatonin gummy down your throat.”

‘Lunar' laughed a bit before responding “not really but the thing is Eclipse.” There was a pause as he threw the Roxanne plush behind him. “That code you had Dawn scan, you were right about it being me but don't worry, you're precious brother isn't gone yet, but I think it would be in both of our best interests if we came to an agreement. Would that make sense to your dumb little mind?” The moon themed animatronic asked in a sickening sweet voice. Eclipse held back one hitting the other, opting to say “you know nothing about me.” The red and green eyed animatronic just laughed a bit before saying “I know a lot of things about you, since we used to be one and all. Y’see Eclipse, you can't just latch something to someone else without some consequences.” The sun themed animatronic stepped back a bit, not in surprise but to put a bit of distance between himself and the other. 

“How did you even gain sentience in the first place?” Eclipse asked, narrowing his eyes. “Like I said, you can't do what you did without some consequences. And you know what? I like this body much better than yours, it might not have your upgrades but I can put those in myself.” ‘Lunar' responded, causing the sun themed animatronic to growl in response “I won't let you do that.” “And who are you to stop me? You cast me out in the first place. I guess I could give you my name as a treat though, so you have something to call me.” Eclipse raised an eyebrow at that before motioning the other to go on. The moon themed animatronic laughed before turning around and saying “I’ve seen myself being called many names, Solstice being an example but I had a better idea of what to call myself…” he turned back around to face Eclipse, bending forward as if he was bowing with his hands spread wide next to him “You can call me Moon.”

Moon put himself upright again before saying “That name only fits, no? I would rather not be associated with your name so I thought I would take inspiration from your precious brother.” There was a laugh from Moon as he tilted his head and said “I’m going to kill them.” Eclipse took a bit to process that before he clenched his fist and angrily said “no you won't.” The moon themed AI laughed again before laughing and replied “oh? And what are you planning on doing about it? Punch me? You won't hurt me because you refuse to damage his body, you’ve already proven that.” The sun themed animatronic grit his teeth, refusing to give the corrupted code the satisfaction of answering the taunt.

Moon smirked at Eclipse’s silence. “My exact point proven” was the response from the moon themed AI before red and green eyes lit up at an idea. “Oh ‘Clipsy, I'm about to show you something you're really gonna hate.” Eclipse raised an eyebrow and was about to ask something but stopped when Lunar's body fell to the floor. He didn't have time to catch it so he was thankful it fell on the padded floor. The sun themed animatronic seemed to be on edge after body fell, breaking out of his own thoughts once he heard a sharp breath.

“Lunar?” Eclipse asked, worry evident in his voice as he looked at the other. There was a groan followed by “what happened? What time is it?” from Lunar as they sat up. The sun themed animatronic dropped to his knees to be on the same level as his brother and grabbed his shoulders. “Lu, hun, I need you to listen!” Eclipse said, his maroon eyes showing clear worry. The moon themed animatronic looked confused and asked “what happened?” “The AI that took over your body? It has a name, it calls itself Moon.” The red and black colored animatronic answered quickly, his voice shaking slightly. “Moon? That seems much more similar to me…” The light blue animatronic said with a raised eyebrow. “Yeah, it doesn't want to be associated with me but it's a mix of both of us. It can act like you but has my smarts.” There was a bit of silence followed by “oh…” before being immediately followed by sinister laughter.

“I can't believe you fell for that, you claim to know your brother but you couldn't tell the difference there.” Moon said with a bit more laughter. Eclipse flinched back, letting go of the other and pausing before saying “Give Lunar their body back, now.” The moon themed AI rolled his eyes before replying “I might as well, but remember that I can come out at any time. I need time to think about a plan. Here’s your brother, ta ta for now Eclipse.” Lunar's body fell again, Eclipse catching it even though they were both on the floor. The body was still for a moment before a sharp breath happened again. 

“Lunar? Lu?” Eclipse asked quickly, voice shaking. “‘Clipse? Why are you up so early? Isn't the daycare closed?” Lunar(?) asked, confused. “Th-that's not important right now! What do you remember last?!” The sun themed animatronic asked, clearly worried and shaking slightly. The moon themed animatronic thought for a second before replying “We played that weird shopping list game and had a discord call with the editor about how we wanted the video to turn out, then we got food from El Chip’s.” Eclipse paused and quietly said “that was yesterday…” Lunar paused and asked “what…?” “I mean that was yesterday.” 

Lunar though for a second before replying “Alright, I get it bu-” Eclipse interrupted, saying “no, you don't get it Lunar! This is bad, very bad.” The sun themed animatronic was shaking, messing with his ribbons to avoid messing with his rays that were spinning quickly in an attempt to calm him down. The moon themed animatronic paused before scooting a bit closer to the other “hey, starlight, calm down alright? It'll be okay, don't-” “no, no! It won't be okay!” The sun themed animatronic said, panicked. Lunar reached out to touch the other, only for Eclipse to back away a bit and yell “don't touch me!”

Lunar pulled their hands away before backing up a bit “alright, I understand. I should've asked first.” Eclipse didn't trust himself to stand up with how bad he was shaking, before saying “He was pretending to be you and I didn't notice until this morning! I can't even tell if you're actually you at times anymore!” The moon themed animatronic took a breath and asked “can't you just remove it?” “I can't, it's rooted itself deep in your code. If I remove it, I have a high chance of losing you!” The sun themed animatronic replied, his rays starting to slow down a bit. “Can't you think of a plan?” “I can't, whatever I think of, he’ll be able to counter since he knows how I think.” The black and orange animatronic said, no longer yelling.

Lunar fell silent because asking “am I going to die?” Eclipse moved towards the other and grabbed his shoulders and said “no, I refuse to let that happen. I will force myself to be a part of you again before I let that happen!” The moon themed animatronic froze and replied “but you hated that.” “Yeah, but I hate the idea of you being hurt more!” the sun themed animatronic said, determination evident along with the worry in his eyes.

“You standing in the daycare late at night was you blacking out and I didn't know… I need to come up with a system to know it's not you because right now, your eyes just change to red and green.” Eclipse said, the last part being mumbled. “Roxanne maybe? She has that space apartment.” Lunar suggested. The sun themed animatronic gave a look with a raised eyebrow and replied “I'm not doing that, she'll make me pay by the second if I ask.” “Yeah, that's fair.” 

Silence stretched for a bit before Lunar asked “can we watch a movie in the theater? We need to calm down right now, you just had a panic attack.” Eclipse nodded and replied “yeah, that sounds good… I'm choosing the movie though. As much as I like the Pokémon: I choose you movie, I don't feel like watching it for the 15th time.” Lunar laughed a bit, it was half hearted though before they replied “that's alright. I just hope everything will turn out okay.”

Chapter Text

It's been a rough couple of weeks for Lunar specifically, Eclipse came down with a virus so Glamrock Chica had to take them to an offshoot sister location for Freddy's, that's when Moon took over without warning.

Now, normally the Daycare attendants would tell the others in the Pizzaplex about their current situation but Eclipse decided to keep it a secret for now, mostly because he didn't want them to worry. It only was out in the open after the murder mystery situation where ‘Lunar’ threatened to kill Cassie and shoot Glamrock Chica. He went over to Glamrock Chica and Circus Baby's house to ‘apologize’ after the game and that's when Moon lost control and Lunar had to explain everything. This prompted Glamrock Chica to give them an address to her aunt's house, believing they could help.

So, that's where Lunar and Eclipse were now, walking through the forest a few miles outside of town following the address to the person’s house in the rain. “How much farther?” Lunar asked after a bit, getting tired of walking and wanting to wring out the water from his hat. “According to the map, just a couple more minutes.” Eclipse replied as he moved a low branch out of the way before mumbling “I still don't know why anyone would live in the middle of the forest.” A hum was received in response as they kept walking, along with the occasional complaint from the moon themed animatronic about how he hated the fact that their shirt was sticking to his casing from the rain.

After about 3 more minutes, the two brothers came across a Victorian style house with a rusted gate in the front. Eclipse pressed his weight against the gate with a grunt as it opened with a large screech, causing Lunar to cover their ears from how loud it was. The sun themed animatronic quickly signed “sorry” to his brother and walked through the gap in the now open gate. The moon themed animatronic turned on his location and checked their own map before asking “so this is where Chica's aunt lives?”

Eclipse hummed and replied “apparently, unless she somehow accidentally gave you the address to some other random house in the middle of the woods.” Lunar walked up closer behind his brother and reached up to lightly smack the other upside the head with a playful grin.“Alright, smartass. I get it, stupid questions get stupid answers.” the moon themed animatronic said before going up to the front door and knocked. “Hello? Is anyone home?” Was called, followed by a bit more knocking.

They waited a bit before Eclipse decided to ask “Do you even know this person's name?” Lunar knocked again before replying “I think it was Puppet? Marionette? Something along those lines.” Eclipse raised an eyebrow before replying “Something along those lines? Both are pretty weird names.” The moon themed animatronic hummed before knocking once again before replying “So are our names.”

There was a beat of silence before Lunar turned the doorknob, causing Eclipse to make a surprised noise. “It's unlocked.” Lunar mumbled before opening the door a bit. “Lunar, you can't just walk in! That's breaking and entering!” Eclipse whisper yelled to the other. The moon themed animatronic turned and raised an eyebrow before replying “it's not like they're going to answer the door so this is our best bet” and quickly walking in before Eclipse could stop him. “Lunar!” The sun themed animatronic yelled before running in after them.

Eclipse stopped once he reached Lunar and walked around him before mumbling “this is a nice house but it's so quiet…” “yeah…” Lunar mumbled in response before seeing a surprised look on their brother's face “what?” The sun themed animatronic vaguely pointed and just responded “behind you…” The moon themed animatronic tilted his head before leaning back their head back to look at whatever was behind him, only to see the unamused face of someone with purple tear streaks and white hair up in a braided bun, prompting Lunar's faceplate to pale a little before quickly running up beside his brother.

“Who are you to come into my house?” The person or animatronic asked, the voice was a bit low to sound threatening. “S-sorry, you weren't answering the door so I decided to walk in. I'm Lunar and my brother is Eclipse.” Lunar replied nervously, the other animatronic scared them a bit since she showed up behind him without a sound. Said animatronic tilted her head slightly, a few loose hairs following the movement “while it's obvious you aren't beings from the stars, intruders aren't welcome here.” That's when Eclipse stepped up and put out an arm protectively in front of his brother and said “listen, I don't know who you are but we were given this address by one of our coworkers. So if you're not going to-” “What is your coworker's name?”

Silence fell at that question until Lunar replied “Chica. Well, Glamrock Chica, but we just call her Chica since we don't really talk to the other ones we know about.” That caused the other animatronic’s face to light up a bit at the response. “Oh, well why didn't you say so earlier! That's my niece!” was the response as the intimidating tone was immediately dropped. “My name is Puppet. Any friend, well almost any friend, of my niece is a friend of mine.” Eclipse raised an eyebrow skeptically and replied “When Chica said she had an aunt, I was thinking of another chicken.” Puppet gave him the side eye before replying “We’re not blood related, I'm close enough to her parents to be considered her aunt.”

Puppet took a breath before asking “with the small talk out of the way, why did my beloved niece send you here?” Lunar messed with the fabric of their pants before saying “well, there's a problem with me an-” “I can see many problems with you but I'm not a therapist hun, I can't help with those.” The white haired animatronic interrupted, causing Eclipse to hold in a laugh. It took a second but the sun themed animatronic replied “not those types of problems. To make a long story short, we used to share a body, the one I’m in, and some code latched onto them and grew into a new person called Moon and I’m pretty sure he wants to hurt people but Lu doesn't want to hurt people. Especially since we work with children.”

Puppet hummed a bit before going over to Lunar and raised her hand towards his forehead before saying “now this might sting a bit, this isn't my area of expertise.” Lunar looked confused and started to ask “what do you me-?” until the other animatronic's hand was pressed to their forehead, causing pain to shoot through. “Shh, you're alright, give me a bit to look.” The white haired animatronic said before Eclipse walked over and held his brother's hand so he could try to calm down. “Okay… past your daycare duties. God, that's one toxic relationship with a bear, should tell someone about that…” Puppet mumbled with her eyes closed before saying “alright, now I see what you were talking about.” and removing her hand and stepping back, causing the moon themed animatronic to bring their own hands up to his head in pain.

“Not going ask about the bear since that's not the current issue. Although, I essentially found a poison of the mind, it's been a while since I've seen something like that.” Puppet said, the roots of her hair now black instead of white. “Poison of the mind?” Eclipse asked, confused. “Think of it like a virus, if left alone for too long, it’ll fester into a larger problem. A poison of the mind is that, except that leaving it alone could lead to dire consequences.” The marionette animatronic explained. “Can’t I just…?” Lunar started while reaching for the wires under their hat. “Nope, nope, stopping you right there.” The sun themed animatronic said while moving the hand away, before looking back at Puppet.

“With how bad it has gotten and with how deep the roots have grown, there's two options I can do for you. The first is that I can do a ritual that can move the code back to your brother which will require a couple days of prep or I can do a complete system wipe which would only leave your core daycare protocols intact.” Puppet explained before adding “but I don't think you want the second option, right?” Lunar nodded in response before saying “yeah, that wouldn't be ideal.” There was a beat of silence before Eclipse asked “sorry, do you have anywhere we can rest? The drive here was long and looking for this house through the forest took longer.” The marionette animatronic had a look of realization before saying “Sorry, I've been such a bad host. Follow me” and walking up the steps that creaked ever so slightly as she walked. The twins followed her up.

The group was down the hallway a bit when Eclipse decided to ask “about the ritual you mentioned, how painful will it be?” Puppet turned a corner before answering “Extremely painful, it will also use more magic than I have so I will have to set up a mana pool so it lasts longer. There's more powerful beings out there than me, I can only do so much.” The last part was mumbled. Two pairs of bells ringing quickly became one as Lunar stopped and said “on second thought this doesn't feel all that safe, how about we negotiate with Moon and try to come to an agreement with him.” The moon themed animatronic was avoiding eye contact for some reason. “I highly doubt that Lu.” the sun themed animatronic replied. That was when Puppet laughed a bit with a tilt of her head.

“Oh I see… that's how you work. There's no use in pretending, I can see you.” Puppet said, her eyes glowing ever so slightly brighter. “I don't know what you're talking about, I just don't want to go through tons of pain for only god knows how long.” Lunar(?) replied, his voice sounding a little off. “Oh, that's how you want to play? Unlike him, I can see you so there's no point.” The marionette animatronic said while nodding her head towards Eclipse at the last part, her voice intimidating again. “That's a low blow man, I already had a panic attack about it.” Eclipse muttered before glaring at ‘Lunar’, who was still avoiding eye contact.

“Like I said, I don't know what you're talking about.” ‘Lunar’ said again through grit teeth with a slight growl in his voice. Eclipse let out a short sigh before saying “Please just stop trying to act like Lunar, it's getting annoying.” Moon held his hands up in surrender, finally deciding to make eye contact “fine, you caught me. Good job. I don't really see a point in this whole thing you're trying to do, it seems… unnecessary.” Eclipse let out a frustrated breath before saying “You might see it as unnecessary but you're an active threat to our safety, I'd rather have you gone.” Moon just rolled his eyes and did the yapping motion with his hand.

Puppet put her head in one of her hands before saying “well, since you're out, I might as well ask you a few questions.” Moon scoffed and replied “I don't want to answer any of your questions.” the marionette animatronic animatronic walked closer and asked “and why is that exactly?” The moon themed AI backed up before saying “because I don't want to, you can't hurt me since this body isn't mine” and glaring up at the other. Eclipse raised an eyebrow before saying “you seem very adamant on backing away from them.” Puppet laughed before replying “you're right, I can't hurt you, but I can do something much easier than that.” She placed her hands on the others head before magic traveled to her hands and into his head. “I can suppress you.” Colors flashed in Moon’s vision because he was launched back into Lunar's head.

Puppet stepped back after she felt the Lunar's body go lax, making sure they didn't hit the floor as she let go of his body. “There we go, he shouldn't bother you for a while. Your brother should wake up right about… now” As if on cue, Lunar held their head, slightly groaning in pain before asking “what… happened?” Eclipse made a slight face before answering “I think she suppressed Moon? It was weird to watch…” the marionette animatronic giggled before saying “yep, and I can do that as many times as I want as long as I have enough magic. Although, the roots run a little deeper than I first thought and he can hurt you quite a bit.”

“Great…” Lunar mumbled before being motioned by Puppet to continue following. As they went a bit further down the hallway, Puppet started motioning to the rooms. “There's some food in here if you get hungry.” “I'm the only one who eats.” The moon themed animatronic replied. The marionette animatronic continued walking “this is the guest bedroom and this room is Glamrock Chica’s room from when she would stay over.”

Lunar walked in and saw all the items and whistled a bit before saying “looks like she stayed over a lot.” Puppet smiled with closed eyes and replied “she did, she was going through an edgy phase at some point so she decided to stay here for a couple months in her teen years.” The moon themed animatronic sat down on the bed in the room with a sigh and asked “so… what do I do for now?” “Well, I can't suppress Moon forever, he’ll eventually get used to it and will become resistant to it. With the glimpse I did see when I pushed him back, the ritual won't work on him. He’s like a deeply rooted flower, if I take him out you will lose a part of yourself forever.” Eclipse froze and asked “what part?” “Memories”

“I don't want to do that…” Lunar mumbled before Puppet responded “I figured, that's why I have a solution. I will teach you guys how to suppress Moon.” She turned to Eclipse and said “You're a wizard, Eclipse.” the moon themed animatronic turned and snickered a bit before hearing Puppet continue. “I won't be able to teach you a lot but I can teach you enough to suppress your problem when needed.” Eclipse took a breath and said “As long as I can keep my brother safe, I won't mind.” the marionette animatronic then turned to Lunar and said “I will teach you how to mentally suppress him, you're on a time limit though for when I teach you. If he's awake while I teach you, then he'll be able to use the same tactics to trap you in your own mind.” 

Lunar nodded as Puppet said “for now though, you need rest, I’ll teach you in the morning. If you would like to have some dry clothes, there should be some spare outfits in the dresser that Chica hasn't worn in a while.” “Okay…” Lunar responded as they watched Puppet close the door as she left the room. “For you Eclipse, I need you to come with me.” She said and  walked down the hallway to a large storage room with a case on the desk and some other items on the shelves. “In here, we have all forms of suppression, from magical artifacts to some guns.” Eclipse looked at the case of guns and asked “are these magical guns or just regular ones?” “Both.” The sun themed animatronic turned back to the case and said “awesome!”

Puppet walked out of the storage room with Eclipse and said “go get some rest, your training starts in the morning.” Eclipse nodded and responded “alright, good night.” before walking towards the room next to Lunar’s. “Good night, don't mind the spirits that will be watching you. They're harmless.” Puppet responded before walking to her room. The sun themed animatronic paused before yelling “the what?!?!”

Chapter Text

Moon stood up on the ground of the mindscape, colorful clouds dancing around as he moved to sit up. He held his head before remembering what happened and growled. “ So that's how they want to play this game huh? Well, I guess it's time I take this more seriously… ”

Eclipse closed his eyes and breathed as he tried to practice an elemental spell that Puppet taught him, only for the spell to start to form before fizzling out as soon as he lost focus. The orange and black colored animatronic groaned before mumbling “I should go check on Lunar” and leaving the room he was staying in and knocking on the door to the room next to him. “Come in!” was heard through the door followed by something falling inside.

Eclipse opened the door and saw Lunar picking up what seems to be a cassette tape collection off of the floor, he raised an eyebrow in question. Lunar noticed and explained “I accidentally backed into the shelf and it turns out that it's on some uneven flooring.” “Ah…” was Eclipse's response as the cassettes were being put back on the shelf, just farther back than before. The light blue animatronic backed up and sat on the bed and asked “so, what do you need?” with a half smile, they seem tired.

“The couple of days are up… I wanted to check in on ya, you okay?” Eclipse asked, leaning against the door to close it, he didn't want the spirits listening in even though they could just phase through solid objects. Lunar froze for a second before answering “Yeah, I guess that's why I had a slight headache earlier.” The moon themed animatronic took a deep breath and sat on the bed, dragging his hands down their faceplate while doing so. “Well…” The sun themed animatronic started as he started to sit in the chair in front of the other. “Puppet taught me a few things, so there's something I can do if you want me to.” “What is it?” Lunar asked with a raised eyebrow. “Well, I could magically go into your head to talk to Moon directly. Puppet said it's a simple spell when they taught me it so I should be able to do it in a way where it won't cause you pain.”

Lunar took a breath before mumbling “hopefully…” Eclipse tilted his head a bit and said “Moon, I'm coming in to talk.” “No, we aren't.” Moon growled out, taking control of Lunar's voice box to respond. “Yes, if you're going to act like a child, I'm going to treat you like one.” The sun themed animatronic responded, his voice firm and leaving no room for argument. The black and orange animatronic took a hold of Lunar's hands, squeezing them slightly and muttering the spell. “open my mind and open his. Bring us together, let me see within.” He closed his eyes as the spell took effect.

When Eclipse opened his eyes, he was in what was clearly the mindscape, the colorful clouds dancing around ever so slightly. He looked around and saw an animatronic with an almost black left side and a light grayish blue right side, the animatronic still wearing the light colors his brother wore. Eclipse raised an eyebrow while pinching his nose and said “Really dude? That's the form you decide to take? That's a new low dude, even I wouldn't do that if I was you.” Moon turned at Eclipse's voice and looked at him, he answered with a hint of a growl “It’s the only form I can take in here, so deal with it.”

“Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine.” Eclipse responded with obvious sarcasm. “No, being the sun is more of your thing. I would prefer you didn't refer to me as such.” Moon responded with a scoff before continuing “So, you wanted to talk to me while I try to gain control again? This should be good.” the sun themed animatronic stepped closer and started “you cause so many problems for us and for what reason? I understand that you're upset that I got rid of you, I understand that you're a salty little bitch about it, but you don't have a reason to be doing any of this. So, why are you?” A small laugh came from the darker animatronic before he responded “you’re right, I don't have a reason. So, I'm making my own reason.” 

Eclipse stood up straighter, caught a bit of guard, before asking “what did you do?” Moon laughed again and his body away, turning his head upside down to look behind himself, and said “Oh , so you noticed my tone huh? Well... I did something to Lunar's little ‘boyfriend’ before we came here. Let's just say that he isn't quite himself right now. He trusts your brother a bit you see, so it wasn't all that hard to make, let's say, altercations to his personality.” the sun themed animatronic crossed his arms and asked “so, you changed his personality. What was the point? To make dark versions of other people?” The red and green eyed animatronic glared and responded “I could do that but it wouldn't be very practical, there's no logical reason to do so, I don't need a reason for how I am.” 

Moon then turned his body back towards Eclipse. “You see my dear Eclipse, people like me like to watch the world burn. And why not watch it burn under the light of the full moon.” Eclipse narrowed his eyes at the other, clearly angry. “Well, I used to think that maybe I was a bit psychotic or crazy, even when me and you were one. But you, you ramped that up to levels I wouldn't even go just because you decided to act like a child and get upset.” The moon themed animatronic tilted his head and started “oh, but we're still the sa-” he was interrupted by Eclipse. “No we aren't, because you are just a scrap of code that had to build itself back up. All I had to do was walk away and move on.”

Moon was silent before he started laughing sinisterly “you’re right, we aren't the same anymore. So I'm going to be who I want to be now! You won't have to worry about me for a while but always remember, I'm right here. And no matter how long it takes, even if it takes years, I will come back and I will make your life a living hell for as long as your programming is active.” Eclipse clenched his fists before walking closer to Moon. “Do you want to know the only thing you're gonna know if you don't shut your pathetic little mouth?” The sun themed animatronic glared, his eyes slightly more red than maroon right now. “I will show you what I can do with the power that Puppet is teaching me and I can and will slowly rip you apart piece by piece until there's nothing left of your pathetic existence.”

Moon reached up and patted Eclipse on the head, pushing down his top main ray and two secondary rays, smiling at him condescendingly. “Oh that’s cute. If you're trying to threaten me, it's not going to work. After all, I'm the one inside of your idiot of a brother's head. Hurting me here would just make it worse for him out there.” Eclipse growled and smacked Moon’s hand away. “It's the perfect place for you to rot away in. I will find a way to get rid of you and you won't come back.” Eclipse then broke his concentration, ending the effect of the spell.

As soon as Eclipse opened his eyes in the real world, he stood up and left the room Lunar was staying in. “Wha- Eclipse wait!” Lunar yelled as his brother stormed off, quickly grabbing a jacket and following. “Where are you going?!” They asked loudly as he tried to catch up, damn his short legs. “Outside.” Was the response, with a bit of unintentional venom to it. “Why?!” The light blue animatronic asked, confused. “Because I need a break from this crap!"

Lunar pulled up his hood as they reached the door outside, just so his clothes wouldn't get as wet. “What happened?” They asked once he caught up. “He did something to Freddy, the one we work with, he changed his personality to fuck with you!” Eclipse yelled slightly before taking a breath to try calming down a bit and added “he finds more joy in torturing you than me…” the light blue animatronic pulled a bit on his ribbons before quietly asking “Isn’t that what you used to do? I mean, for the first year when we were together I thought you hated me and caused me pain on purpose…” the sun themed animatronic looked over and responded “I hated every second we were stuck together Lu, I couldn't do anything of my free will unless I forced you to let me do it. Hell, after the first year when we knew each other better and we agreed to work as a pair in a mutual body it still hurt you, did you think I found it fun? Hurting you?”

Lunar pulled on his ribbons a bit harder before saying “for the first year, a bit because of how you spoke to me… maybe that was just Moon or something el-” Eclipse interrupted “no, that wasn't Moon! Me and Moon used to be the same, because all he and I cared about were hurting you. Even now, I could be in a different world and I would still end up hurting you somehow…” the moon themed animatronic put his hand on the other’s shoulder, a small smile on his face as he said “but you changed, you’ve been constantly trying to make yourself better.” The sun themed animatronic shrugged their hand away and said “I haven't changed because guess what, I threatened Moon! I threatened to tear him apart piece by piece and I enjoyed it!” 

Lunar jumped at the sudden yelling and stuttered a bit “maybe you enjoyed threatening him because of what he’s trying to do to me because you can be protective.” His smile was a bit strained. Eclipse tilted his head and said “Y’know Lu, you never know what you're missing until it's gone. I realized that I missed killing. I’ve had to turn my own code off multiple times! It's a part of me I tried to get rid of!” The moon themed animatronic looked confused and quietly asked “wh-what do you mean?” Eclipse clenched and unclenched his fists before yelling “I didn't want to deal with my homicide code anymore so I latched it onto you so I didn't have to deal with it anymore! And now look at what I did because of that!” 

Eclipse regretted those words as soon as he said them, he didn't like yelling at most people, let alone his brother. He looked at Lunar and saw an intense look of hurt on his face before they started to walk away, not looking Eclipse in the eyes as tears threatened to fall. “I’m going home…” the light blue animatronic mumbled as he started to walk towards the exit of the forest. “Lu… you can't.” Eclipse responded quietly. Eclipse stood there, watching for a bit as his brother left. He felt bad but knew that Lunar needed their space. If Eclipse was later found outside by Puppet and brought inside after his battery was drained, then that was something that he and Puppet would keep between them.

Chapter Text

Lunar was sitting on the balcony overlooking the daycare, his back against the part connecting the castle design to the wall. He wasn't crying anymore, he stopped crying around halfway back. “Why did he do that… well I know why but why didn't he tell me sooner…” they were more of statements rather than questions. He let out a soft sigh and just continued to look over the daycare, his head resting against his pulled up legs.

Eclipse sighed to himself and mumbled “I'm so stupid, why did I say all that? I shouldn't have said that…” He entered the daycare and started looking around. “Lunar, are you here? Or are you in the atrium?” He called before noticing Lunar on the balcony. “There you are.” The sun themed animatronic said to himself and called the wire and hooked it up so he could go to the balcony.

Eclipse unhooked the wire and sat down, not quite close to Lunar but not too far from him. “You're quiet, something on your mind?” He asked, mentally facepalming at his dumb question. Eclipse wasn't good at emotions, that was Lunar’s territory but they were the one upset right now. “You looked here…” Lunar mumbled, not looking at the sun themed animatronic. “It was the first place I thought of.” The taller animatronic replied and went silent until he said “I know you probably don't want to see me right now, I wouldn't want to either…”

There was a bit of silence until Lunar said “He’s… stuck to my code like a virus. You… latched it to me during separation and now…” He trailed off, not sure what to say. Eclipse’s rays retracted a bit at that, he took a breath. “I didn't think it would become… this. I thought it would just disappear or go dormant because I was gone, I never wanted to hurt you again…” The moon themed animatronic glanced over at their brother. “I get that but it felt like you did at the time… and now I don't know when Moon’s going to try something again and that's a terrifying thought.” He said, looking at his hands as they explained.

“I understand, what I did was shitty and I shouldn't have done that. Getting rid of it didn't make a difference because it just started coming back as soon as it went missing, it's ingrained in my code.” Eclipse said quietly, moving a bit closer to Lunar. “We can stop it… right? Or suppress it at the very least?” The moon themed animatronic asked, looking fully at Eclipse now. “I tried, suppression doesn't work and getting rid of it would just cause it to come back again. It's a part of me like I was a part of you. Me and you are still connected despite being separated, just not in the same way we were.” Eclipse said quietly, looking down towards the ballpit. “I understand if you hate me, I would hate me if I did that…”

Lunar took a deep breath and scooted away from his spot from the wall a bit and said “I don't hate you, I don't think I could ever hate you, Eclipse. I just wonder why you didn't tell me sooner, you knew it was having an effect on my code and still didn't tell me.” “Tell you that I'm a coward? I was so scared of losing myself in my own coding that I willingly latched something to you that could’ve changed your entire being.” Eclipse replied, his voice getting quieter towards the end. “I don't that makes you a coward, ‘Clipse.” The moon themed animatronic said, looking at his brother. “Then what does it make me? Selfish? Rude? Insecure?” The sun themed animatronic asked rhetorically.

That's when Lunar grabbed Eclipse by the shoulders and said “you’re not selfish either, Eclipse. I may not understand everything that's going through your head but I understand most things since we used to share a body. I can tell that you're still better than you were before, even if you make mistakes sometimes.” “mistakes? If me intentionally leaving a piece of my code behind was a ‘mistake’ then I would hate to think what else would be considered a mistake.” Eclipse replied sarcastically. “Stop that.” The light blue animatronic said in a firm tone.

Eclipse shrugged off Lunar's hands before saying “Can I tell you a quote from something I feel attached to? ‘If you expect disappointment, then you can never be disappointed’. I expect myself to do or say the wrong thing so that I'm not surprised when something goes wrong.” Lunar put his hand on Eclipse's arm and looked at him with a small smile and replied “then stop expecting it, it's not the best advice but if you keep that mentality then it'll eventually happen. Eclipse, you're going to do bad things, everyone does bad things even when they don't mean to.” It was obvious what the light blue animatronic was thinking about but he shook the thought away before continuing. “It’s alright because bad things happen to good people and it's usually not for any good reason. The only thing I’m upset about is the fact that you didn't tell me because then I maybe would've expected something to happen.”

Eclipse looked at Lunar and replied “I don't know… our situation isn't really something you expect to happen. Moon is a whole… issue by itself.” Lunar nodded a bit and mumbled “right…” before saying louder “‘Clipse, I still love and care about you, even though I'm upset. You’ll be able to figure something out and we'll be able to get over it, I know it because you're the smartest person I know.” The sun themed animatronic smiled a bit and ruffled Lunar's hat, causing the bell inside of the crescent charm at the end to ring. “Yeah, I will. For your sake, I will.”

Eclipse removed his hand as Lunar thought for a minute before asking “The whole thing with your kill code coming back, how do you even… know it's coming back?” Eclipse was silent for a bit then said “It sounds strange but I can kind of feel the code, it feels strangely like a virus. It feels like it's gathering anything it can to try and rebuild itself and make itself stronger.” The moon themed animatronic hummed for a second. “Well, if a bit of your code made Moon because of missing space in my programming… then maybe we could put a bit of my in you to maybe stop or at least slow down the code coming back?”

Eclipse thought for a second and mumbled “I don't think… that would work. If anything, it would just work around the code and rebuild itself in a different way…” “then we'd have another situation that's similar to Moon, probably not the same but similar.” Lunar said with a small sigh and rested his head in one of his hands. “It would probably just be a happier me honestly if it's your code.” The sun themed animatronic hummed in thought before hearing the quick reply of “yeah, there's already enough personalities around here. Three is enough, I don't want more.”

“Anyway, I’ll find a way to save you.” Eclipse said before standing up and stretching. “I appreciate it ‘Clipse, I would’ve gone to the atrium but the staff bots are surprisingly nosey and I didn't want them to bother me.” Lunar replied before also standing up and continuing “but either way, I'm gonna try to help where I can since I don't want you to do this yourself.” The sun themed animatronic laughed a bit. “I know you will. I’ll find a way to fix this, even if it costs myself to do so…” The moon themed animatronic gave a stern look and told his brother “no, not even then. I believe in you, you're smart and you will figure out a way that doesn't involve you dying.”

Eclipse lets out a small breath and turned to Lunar. “For now though, are you okay? Moon hasn't tried anything?” “I'm fine, just a bit… hurt I guess. He hasn't tried anything since you entered my head, he’s been surprisingly quiet.” Lunar responded before falling backwards into the ballpit, Eclipse followed although he fell in a more traditional way. “He’s keeping his word…” the black and orange animatronic mumbled. “Huh?” The light blue animatronic asked as they walked through the ballpit. “He said we didn't have to worry about him for a while, I can only assume that he’s making his plans. We’ve seen that he's capable of hacking animatronics because of the map bots and then when he locked us in that SCP…” Eclipse trailed off as he stopped on the bridge. “You think those were tests or something?” Lunar asked quietly. “I think those were him trying to get some kind of sick amusement from us. He doesn't care what happens to us as long as your body stays functional, he just wants to see me suffer. If anything, he’s going to be playing the long game with us and we’re going to be forced to play along with it.”

“Of course… I guess there isn't much we can do…” Lunar said quietly before he groaned and continued “we really can't catch a break can we…” “we really can't…” Eclipse hummed and said “I don't think we have to go back to Puppet’s house, I know how to get back if needed. The forest isn't that bad once you know the path.” “Good, the constant rain is sensory hell honestly. I couldn't stand the feeling of my clothes sticking to my casing…” The moon themed animatronic complained, grimacing at the thought. “Yeah, understandable. The spirits around the place didn't make it better.” The sun themed animatronic hummed in thought. “I’m sorry, there were what around the place?!?! Is that why I felt like I was being watched in my sleep?!” Lunar yelled out in surprise. Eclipse froze, he forgot to mention the spirits before. “uh.. ignore what I said that. Let's just do something to get our mind off of our situation.” Lunar just sighed and said “okay, sounds good.” before heading to the daycare exit with his twin.

Chapter Text

Eclipse wasn't expecting to be called to Roxy's raceway by the wolf herself but here he was. “Stupid maze to get to the raceway, why was this even added?” He mumbled as he ducked out of the maze to the raceway track. “Why did she even call me here in the first place?” Eclipse mumbled as he looked around for the wolf. “Hey ‘Clipse, you're lookin’ great today.” Roxanne said as she sat on top of one of the props she recently added to the raceway, causing the other to jump a bit. She wasn't in her normal racer outfit but rather a T-shirt and some jeans that were covered with dirt. 

Roxanne hopped down from her spot and walked up the Eclipse and asked “How's life been?” “It's been fine I guess? We’re both oka- what happened to you?!” Eclipse started as he walked with Roxanne a bit, only to see her outfit once they got into some light. “Oh this? Just had to do some cleaning around the place, it’ll wash off after a few washes so don't worry about it.” The wolf said offhandedly with a small wave of her hand before continuing. “Anyway, lemme show you what I've been doing with the money Lun provided to me.” The sun themed animatronic followed and said “right…” before mumbling under his breath “going all in with the nicknames today huh?”

“As you can see, I'm revamping the raceway since Fazbear isn't doing shit.” Roxanne continued before adding “I think I'm up to one million dollars into this endeavor now? Around that range.” “what?!” Eclipse asked in surprise before hearing “actually I think it was actually around ten million? No no, 35.4 million actually, the custom karts cost a lot.” “Okay, how did you get that much money? There's no way the space apartment and payment for your ‘help’ in the daycare came out to that.” The sun themed animatronic said with a very done tone. “I may or may not have sold some of your ideas to the government, they liked that dimensional portal idea of yours. Got them off my back for a bit too.” The wolf animatronic explained, her tail swaying back and forth as she spoke.

Eclipse was silent for a minute before slowly saying “what do you mean you sold my portal?” Roxanne held up her oil covered hands and replied “hey hey, I didn't say that, I just sold some things from your portal. They paid me a handsome sum of money for the stuff too.” She started walking and Eclipse followed behind. “Lemme give you a tour of the place, that rock prop over there cost around I'd say… 200k, got quite the deal on it. That's around the normal price for a house.” Roxanne said proudly. “y’know you could actually make quite a bit of profit from this place, this is going to be the only go kart place close by.” The sun themed animatronic said, slightly impressed. “Damn straight it’ll be successful!” The wolf replied confidently with a smile.

“The TV’s up there? Around a good one mil each.” Roxanne said pointing at the large TV’s on the ceiling. “then a good 100k for installation of them because no way I was going to risk that.” “I'm so glad I have a separate account from you…” Eclipse mumbled so the other didn't hear. “The place is coming together, people are going to be lining up at the door to race here.” The wolf animatronic said as she wrapped her arm around Eclipse. “Don't touch me.” He replied bluntly. Roxanne started walking again, mumbling something to herself as Eclipse followed, looking around the unfinished area.

“Did you seriously get a statue of yourself?!” Eclipse asked as he saw the golden statue of Roxanne across the way. “Hm? Oh yeah, I did. It cost around five bucks but the guy I got it from said he got it from a reliable source, said it shouldn't cause any issues and it'll last me a while.” Roxanne said nonchalantly as she walked down the steps with the other. 

“And this down here is the main area for the racers! The karts are in the garage right now because I’m still working on fixing some of them.” Roxanne said with wide open arms before heading towards the nearest garage door. “This kart right here is givin’ me a whole heap of trouble, the acceleration and breaks were mixed up upon arrival.” She explained as she pointed out a kart with Glamrock Freddy’s coloring on it before asking “Oh yeah, speaking of Freddy, did you know he changed recently?” Eclipse raised an eyebrow and responded “I heard about that, yeah.”

Roxanne leaned against the wall as she continued. “Yeah, it was really weird. He was really nice, he was almost acting like Lunar. It was unsettling.” Eclipse pinched where the bridge of his nose would be “oh god fucking… remember when Lunar threw you into a wall so hard that your endoskeleton had to get repaired?” “yeah, I was surprised, the walk to parts and service was hell afterwards.” The wolf replied with a questioning look. “Yeah, that wasn't them. He has a different personality in his code and it changed Freddy's personality, meaning it could change yours as well.” The black and orange animatronic said before seeing the other walk closer to him. “And what do you mean by that?” She asked quietly, a small hint of a threat in her tone. 

“He could probably make you more intelligent.” Eclipse joked. Roxanne narrowed her eyes before grabbing the other and putting him a playful headlock and getting the oil from her hands on him as she did. “Alright smartass I get it, I'm not as smart as you. I could still beat your ass at go kart racing any day of the week though.” The wolf let go with a playful smile and a small laugh after a bit. “In all seriousness though, this place looks really good, even if the race track and karts aren't finished entirely yet.” The Sun themed animatronic said with a smile to his friend. “Hell yeah it does, I spent so long working on this place! I’m gonna need some repairs after I finish the karts, I got my hand stuck in some of them while fixing ‘em up.” The racer animatronic said, pointing out some spider web cracks on her casing.

“On the topic of the raceway, Fazbear is refusing to give me any money for my endeavor and I need some more to continue.” Roxanne said, not so subtly glancing at Eclipse. “You need more?! Roxy…” Eclipse said in an exasperated tone. “Listen, I accidentally spent too much and the accountant I had took most of the funds I had.” She explained with her hands up. “Your accountant took your money? How?!” the black and orange animatronic asked with an eyebrow raise. “I hired him to handle most of the finances and he told me a lot of the items were way more expensive than they actually were. He said the lights for the karts specifically were 400 grand for all of them.” “You need a better account.” the sun animatronic replied quietly before asking “how much money do you need?”

“Well, if I had to guess because the accountant took a lot of things with him after I fired him… probably close to 80 mil.” Roxanne started before adding “Look, this place is around at least 25% finished, I still need the lights for the racetrack and the LED ones for the ceiling along with other things.” “The last time I felt this nauseous was when a kid got sick during naptime for the first time and yet you somehow managed to achieve that feeling with the amount of money you just asked for.” Eclipse replied with an annoyed expression before he started to walk away. “No, wait! ‘Clipse c’mon! I need the money! I’ll split the profits 50/50 with you once the place opens, c’mon!” The wolf pleaded, following the other. 

Eclipse paused for a second before saying “30/70, It's your attraction so you should get most of the profits. I’ll sell things from other dimensions and transfer the money to you but I expect at least half of it to be paid back after this place opens, deal?” “Deal, now I have to continue trying to fix things up around here, see ya ‘Clipse!” Roxanne said before walking further into the raceway as Eclipse started to head towards the exit. ‘As much as I hate to agree with most things Roxanne does, It sounds like this place will be very profitable.’ The sun themed animatronic thought before leaving the raceway.

Chapter Text

Eclipse was waiting outside the daycare for Roxanne, she wanted to talk to Lunar and by extension Moon alone for whatever reason so he was letting her. He looked at the time on his internal clock before muttering “Roxy should be done by now…” to himself. Almost as if on cue, Roxanne came running around the corner, mumbling curses under her breath. She stopped to catch her breath and said “hey ‘Clipse, how's it going? You look stunning today.”

Eclipse raised an eyebrow and replied “It sounds like you're trying to butter me up, what did you do?” “C’mon Eclipse, I didn't do anything! Lu just went a bit cuckoo while I was talking to them.” Roxanne replied, acting offended when she really wasn't. The sun themed animatronic placed his hands on the others shoulders and took a breath. “Roxy, I’m going to ask again and I want a serious answer. What. Did. You. Do.” “Honestly, I didn't do anything! I just had a simple talk with him, we didn't agree to anything, anything said during that conversation was invalid!” The wolf responded quickly before shrugging Eclipse's hands off her shoulders and adding “I’ll just get out of your non-existent hair now while you deal with that because I feel like I'll get killed if I say the wrong thing.” Eclipse took a moment to process that before taking a deep breath and yelling “we’re going to talk about this later!” as Roxanne ran off.

Eclipse went down the slide, a little annoyed, before calling “Lunar! Moon! Whichever one is out right now! We need to talk!” “Hello!” Lunar(?) said with a smile from behind Eclipse, startling the other. “You look great as always brother!” The light blue animatronic continued, tilting his head to the side so fast that you could hear the bell in their hat ring loudly. “Well, the head movements are off putting. Hey Moon.” The sun themed animatronic said with a sigh. “Of course they're off putting, he’s fighting for control.” Moon growled out in annoyance. “Lu, give me a couple minutes, I need to talk to Moon.” Eclipse said before adding “What did Roxanne say to you?”

It took a second, the optics on Lunar's body shifting to red and green before Moon stretched as he took full control. “That's better, he seems to listen to you a bit too easily don't you think?” The ai said with a small head tilt. “I don't want to hear it, answer my question.” Eclipse said flatly. Moon did the yapping motion with Lunar’s hand and rolled his eyes before saying “She said what she wanted, she wanted me to remove the little control I have over Freddy and I of course said no. Then she started insulting me, egging me on, and I just broke out. And the thing is, I don't think Puppet’s magic can hold me back at this point.” “We’ll find out later if you don't go back.” The sun themed animatronic said with a slight eye roll. 

“I don't want to go back. I don't feel like going back.” Moon said with a glare and slightly growl in his voice. “Of course you don't feel like going back, I didn't either when I was sharing with Lunar. It's not your body in the first place.” Eclipse replied, moving behind the daycare desk. “Why did you change then? You could've forced them to shut up and stay quiet but you decided to become all buddy buddy with the little idiot. It could’ve been our body but no, you decided to separate and latch me on to him.” The red and green eyed AI said, getting close to Eclipse. “It's not a matter of control.” The maroon eyed animatronic started before continuing “I understand how you feel to an extent. You want to ‘forge your own path’ and ‘have your own body to become your own person’. Guess what? You got those thoughts and wants from me.” 

Eclipse got closer to Moon, his eyes having a small red glow to them. “Everything you want are things I got rid of, because I either got them or I grew up.” Moon laughed and backed up a bit before asking “are you calling me a child?” “Yeah, I guess I am. Because you obviously have abandonment issues.” The black and orange animatronic said, the red glow fading a bit. “I guess I do but I can deal with it, it's just lingering anger now. The two of us could've done so much together.” The moon themed AI said resting his faceplate in his hands, leaning on the desk to do so. “Are you done yet?” The sun themed animatronic asked, rays drooping in annoyance. “Not in the slightest. I told you I would come back but that time still isn't right now.” Moon said, turning his gaze over to the Roxanne cut out. “But she wants to make a deal with me and I might just take her offer.”

Eclipse raised an eyebrow and asked “What did she offer you?” Moon got a sly smile on his face and replied “oh nothing much, just a little piece of your tech, you can ask her for the details. Anyway, here's your precious brother back.” “Egotistical freak…” Eclipse mumbled as Lunar got control back, catching themself on the top of the desk. “Sorry, I held him back the best I could.” Lunar mumbled, holding his head a bit. “No, don't apologize. I let Roxy try talking to Moon.” The light blue animatronic gave a look before clasping their hands together and asking “why?” “She got hired by Circus Baby to get the chip out of Freddy because she's not a fan. She asked me first and the rule I gave was that she wasn't supposed to piss you or Moon off.” The sun themed animatronic grumbled before adding “She apparently made a deal with Moon.”

Lunar went completely silent, not even moving their bells around to make a bit of noise as usual as he turned to give Eclipse a look. “Moon will get rid of the chip in exchange for a piece of my tech.” Lunar raised an eyebrow at that. “What piece of tech? Do you know?” Eclipse let out a sigh. “That's the thing, I have to go ask Roxy what she put up for trade because Moon knows some things I made in secret and depending on what it is, it could be really really bad. Some of that tech can hurt more than just us.” The moon themed animatronic thought for a second before suggesting “Do you think she's hiding out in her room? I know we're close to opening but I don't think she’d go to the raceway yet.” “Sounds about right…” the sun themed animatronic said before going out the doors and saying “I’ll be back around lunch, I don't want kids asking why I'm upset after I talk to Roxy.” “Okay, good luck! I’ll get everything set up for when the kids arrive.” Lunar responded before Eclipse was out of earshot.

Eclipse got to rockstar row and knocked on Roxanne’s door. “Roxanne, open your door. I saw you through your window.” He called with a slightly annoyed tone. There was a small crashing sound before Roxanne opened her door, seemingly tripping over something. “Before you say anything, I know I made a mistake but we all-” She was cut off by Eclipse. “No, stop, we’re going to talk.” The sun themed animatronic started before walking inside the room and asking “what piece of my tech did you offer Moon?” He looked very annoyed.

Roxanne got a bit nervous. “He wasn't supposed to mention that, god fucking…” she mumbled before saying “listen! It just has something to do with a nebula, he didn't mention anything else.” “a nebula…” Eclipse mumbled before his eyes went wide. “No. No. No. That's really bad!” The wolf swayed her tail a bit and asked “what's so bad about it? Isn't a nebula just a mass of stars?” “An actual nebula, yes but if Moon gets this, we’re all dead! It's called the Helix Nebula, it’s basically a bomb that can reprogram things!” Eclipse replied, anger seeping into his tone. “How bad are we talking?” The yellow eyed wolf asked. “He can set it to do whatever he wants it to do! The current setting is everyone back to square one, no memories or sentience, just AI.” Roxanne made a face “that sounds bad…” “It is bad!”

“Listen, Circus Baby is offering me some money to do this, it's not a lot but it'll help with the raceway.” Roxanne tried to defend herself. “Roxy, that would put me and Lunar in the same body again! I would be with Moon and all my homicidal intentions again! You would even forget you're working on your raceway!” Eclipse said angrily as he sat down on the couch. “And I would hate it…” The wolf mumbled, her tail swishing in annoyance. “What am I going to tell Circus Baby then? I already said I was going to help with her and Chica’s situation!” “I don't care what you tell Circus Baby, she'll probably figure something out.” The sun themed animatronic grumbled, still angry but slowly calming back down to annoyance before adding “you're not allowed to talk to Moon until further notice.”

“Oh c’mon man, really!” Roxanne said, a bit annoyed before adding “whatever, I have to warm up for the opening show. Feel free to stay until you're done being upset but don't distract me.” Eclipse just gave a thumbs up and held his faceplate in his hands so he could try to calm down.

Chapter Text

“Please put the Roxanne plush in the lost and found, the kid probably left it here by accident.” Lunar said while picking up a barrel and putting it by the security desk. “No,the kid can get another one. I think keeping this one so I can mess with it is funny.” Eclipse replied with a smile before placing the plush behind the security desk so he could grab it later. The moon themed animatronic playfully rolled his eyes in response before hearing “hey, we have a visitor.” “I swear to God if it's Roxanne…” they mumbled. “It's not her, though it's someone that hasn't showed up here before.” the sun themed animatronic said before pointing at the top of the play structure for Lunar to look at.

“Heyyyy!” Puppet said, holding plushies of Lunar and Eclipse by invisible strings. “Hey, why do you have dolls of us?” Lunar asked, confused. “Voodoo… and a little bit of puppeteering magic” was her simple reply before poking a ray on the Eclipse plush. Eclipse jumped in response before saying “don't… don't do that, that feels weird.” He shook it off before adding “what’re you doing here anyway?” The white haired animatronic jumped off the play structure and lowered the dolls to the ground by their invisible strings before saying “I came to do a check-in, I need to make sure you're training…” She pointed at Eclipse. “And you still need a therapist.” She pointed at Lunar.

Eclipse held back a laugh with a cough before saying “we both need therapy but I burned down a building, that was my training.” Lunar whipped their head to his brother and asked “you did what now?!” Puppet ignored the light blue animatronic and asked “did you use agilao for that or agidyne?” “It was agidyne.” The sun themed animatronic replied. “Good job.” Was the reply before Lunar interrupted. “I’m sorry to interrupt but why did you knock down a building?!” He sounded very frazzled and Eclipse simply responded “I didn't knock it down, I burned it. They were just missing a few windows and then the building went up in flames, they deserved it anyway.”

“Please don't tell me it's on police record…” Lunar mumbled before hearing “okay then I won't tell you.” The moon themed animatronic just groaned and held his faceplate in his hands. “Is that all you need to do or will you leave now?” He asked. “Well, yes and no. There's another reason, I heard through the grapevine that the government is after you.” Puppet responded. There was silence for a minute before Eclipse mumbled “you burn down one building…”

The brothers argued for a bit before Puppet sighed and called out “silence! I wasn't finished.” The two stopped as Puppet continued “good, they're not after Eclipse. They're after Lunar, more specifically Moon. I don't know what the details are but it's probably problems catching up.” It was Eclipse's turn to groan into his hands out of annoyance. “I would try to help but I'm not allowed to interfere with the government because of an agreement an old partner of mine made with them that extended to me. I can give advice though.”

Puppet sat down and messed with loose parts of the padded floor before starting. “Don't fight them, you won't stand a chance and keep your magic hidden since it's best that they don't know.” She said to Eclipse before turning to Lunar and adding “and you have to stay calm, you two don't need more problems because the wrong person got out. You're going for an interview, they're just going to ask questions.” Lunar took a deep breath. “Okay… I can try… keep calm…” Eclipse pinched where his nose would be and sarcastically mumbled “fantastic…” before adding “well, thanks for the warning at least.” The white haired animatronic stood up and responded “no problem, I figured this was better than finding out when they barged in here. Just be ready at any time.”

“Okay, yeah… we’ll prepare, thank you…” Lunar responded, shaking his hands to calm his nerves. “Hey, you’ll be fine. You two can contact me if anything happens.” Puppet responded before mumbling a spell and teleporting away. “Bye…” Lunar mumbled. “bye teach” Eclipse said as they watched Puppet leave.

Chapter Text

Lunar messed with the ruffles on his waist, nervous as they waited for the government worker to come in and interview him. Eclipse was in the next room over but that didn't ease his worries. They heard the door open and close as the worker walked in. “Okay, we just have a few questions you have to answer.” The worker started. “Yeah, I can answer them.” The moon themed animatronic replied.

“You really didn't spend a lot for a nice place did ya?” Eclipse asked in the next room over, legs crossed as he sat. “This is an interview room, it's just here so we can do our job.” The second worker stated as he adjusted the camera behind him. “A camera?” The sun themed animatronic asked. “It's for our own protection, your answers will be recorded and monitored later to see if further action is required. The interview will now begin.”

“First question, what's your name?” The worker asked. “Well, isn't that an interesting question. My official name is Solar Eclipse but I much prefer just being called Eclipse, much less confusing that way.” Eclipse answered with a small hand wave. 
“My full name is Lunar Eclipse but I prefer being called Lunar, I can't count the number of times people got me and Eclipse's names mixed up when we both went by our first names.” Lunar explained with a nervous laugh.

“Understood, next question. How long have you been working for Fazbear Entertainment?” The worker looked up slightly through his mask. “I’d say five, maybe six years. It's kinda hard to keep track.” Lunar replied, trying their best to not move around too much. 

Okay, have you always acted like this or were you made to act like this?” The worker continued, typing answers on his computer. “Huh? What does that mean? I think I act perfectly fine so I don't really know what you mean. I guess it's programming… I'm not sure what your question means.” Lunar muttered, a little nervous as he spoke.
“Hmm, I think it's mostly programmed into me. Doesn't help that I was programmed with a kill code.” Eclipse said while pointing to his head and adding “I can be a very violent person if I wanted.” The worker sighed and added “we’re well aware of that.”

The worker let out a small sigh and continued “Alright… what did you do to get your intellect?” The moon themed animatronic let out a confused hum “what? You mean sentience? It just kinda… happened one day. It's hard to explain…”
Eclipse raised an eyebrow. “Interesting question… I’d say a bit of my actual programming and the rest being obtained by other means. Mostly studying in my free time and testing stuff on my own. I did make a mental extractor at some point to learn faster but I never used it, I figured learning by my own means was more fulfilling.”

“Why am I even typing this? This is being recorded…” The worker mumbled to himself before asking “how do you feel pain? We have multiple records of you and your brother having the ability to feel pain.” Lunar lit up a bit at the question despite his nervousness. “Oh! I had ‘Clipse explain this to me once! It has something to do with sensors on our casing that sends signals to our code, he should know more about it.”
“Our Creator added some kind of coding that makes it so we have receptors on our body that simulate the feeling of touch in our systems, that includes pain.” The sun themed animatronic explained, leaning on the table out of boredom. “Please don't lean on the table.” The worker mumbled.

“Now, how and why did you and your twin separate?” The worker asked, crossing his arms. “Oh! I didn't really listen in when Eclipse was talking about it but I know Roxanne helped with it, she even designed my current body for me. The intention behind it was for a better living situation, I don't want to explain further.” Lunar explained before realizing he got too close and backed up while saying “sorry, personal space.”
Eclipse hummed. “You got some interesting questions buddy. Why we separated… in relation to the last question of pain, Lunar is more sensitive to it than I am. I was a prisoner in a shared body and I always hurt him when I wanted to come out, I wasn't exactly happy about that.” The sun themed animatronic mumbled before adding “as for how, that's for me to know and you to find out.”

The worker looked at his computer to see the next question and asked “what's your affiliation with Roxanne Wolf? She's on our record for selling several… unique items.” The light blue animatronic though for a second. “That’s a better question for Eclipse than me, I know her but I wouldn't say we're exactly close. I’ve only talked to her a few times.” The worker hummed at that. “My partner should be asking him that question.”
The black and orange animatronic raised an eyebrow. “Oh? She did say she was selling my things. I guess you could say we're close, more like business partners.” He said, not saying his true relationship with the wolf.

“I can't believe I'm asking this… how did you learn magic?” The worker asked, looking at Lunar. “I didn't learn personally, that's another question for Eclipse. Maybe in the future but not right now…” They responded, messing with his hands.
“I think you know that already, she told us that you weren't allowed to meddle in her business.” The sun themed animatronic replied. “I need a name for records sake.” The worker mumbled tiredly. “Puppet. Marionette. Whatever you call them, there.”

“Do you know who created you?” The worker asked, scrolling down on his computer to see the next questions. “I… don't know honestly. I know that me and Eclipse were made for Fazbear Entertainment but I've never met the person who created us… I just remember waking up to a Fazbear tech looking over our systems…” Lunar mumbled, starting to get a bad feeling about the questions coming up next.
Eclipse crossed his arms at the question, he had some strong opinions about the question. “If I knew, they would be long dead by now. Imagine making two people share a body and causing them both some kind of pain, whoever did that is a pathetic excuse of a human being.”

“These next questions are more elaborate, we expect you to respond to the best of your abilities.” The worker said with a look that was hidden behind his mask. “Is there another personality in you?” The light blue animatronic froze a bit. “N-no… there's not… there's not another one…” he mumbled. “Are you lying?” The worker asked in a skeptical tone. “No.”
Eclipse scoffed a bit. “I may have the original body but I would know if there was someone else in my body with me, I know how my coding is supposed to look and I would be able to tell if something was wrong.” He was getting annoyed at the questions.

“There have been reports of you and your brother getting more violent with children, what do you know about that?” The worker asked, leaning forward slightly. “What? I don't know what you mean… Eclipse used to be violent towards kids but has been getting better, even before we separated… I promise…” Lunar said, they were getting very uncomfortable.
Eclipse rested his head on his hand. “My cases of violence are mostly in the past with only minor slip ups from before separation, but the interesting part is you saying my brother has been too.” “We have footage of him breaking a kid's arm from the cameras.” The worker explained.

“You do understand that I mentioned both of you, correct?” The worker said, looking straight at the moon themed animatronic. “I've done nothing… I've been nothing but good to the children… I haven't…” Lunar stumbled over his words, looking down at their pants. “This security footage says otherwise, we have documentation footage of you breaking a child's arm.” The worker explained. “I would never do something like that… I haven't done anything like that…” The light blue animatronic continued, voice shaking a little. The worker let out a sigh and said “I’ll take your word for it.”

“Last question, what happened on July 16th?” That question made Eclipse a little more interested. He turned more towards the worker and said “Interesting question. I don't know the details personally, I just saw the aftermath, but I will tell you one thing…”
Lunar froze, staring down at his pants. “I don't want to talk about that day…” they mumbled. “Lunar Eclipse, you will answer the question.” “I-I don't… please…” “You are in a place where you are required to answer or we will take governmental action against you.” The light blue gripped his pants tightly. “I can't… please…” he mumbled, voice shaky. “We will have you shut down, now answer the question.” The worker said harshly, hitting his fist on the table. “I don't want to answer the question…” they mumbled, pulling on his hat slightly. “I don't… I…” They seemingly glitched before going limp at the table but slowly sat back up not long after.

“Lunar Eclipse?” The worker asked once he saw. “Oh, July 16th, what a fun day for me.” Moon said with a smile, looking right at the worker with a threatening look and a laugh. “Lunar Eclipse?” The worker asked again, slowly this time as he backed up. “That idiot isn't here right now but I'm bored… and I want to play a little.” 
Eclipse looked at a fake watch on his wrist. “...In about… five seconds your partner will die.” He said. “Pardon me?” The worker asked quietly before hearing a scream, causing him to shoot up and run out the room. Eclipse got up from his chair and turned off the camera, he let out a sigh as he mumbled “that was a bad question to ask, dammit…”

Chapter Text

Eclipse locked the bunker door behind him, letting out a breath as he turned to Moon, who was currently tied to a chair that was for a child. “Alright, are you done struggling now? I’d rather not have another dent.” he asked with crossed arms. “Wow, guess you had a backup plan if things went wrong, and here I was hoping you didn't.” Moon replied, glaring at the other while still trying to get Lunar's wrists united. The black and orange animatronic scoffed in response “of course I did, why would you even think I would trust you?” 

Moon laughed in response before saying “No, not really, but I thought you would trust him a bit more though. Kinda pathetic that you don't even trust your own brother.” “Yeah, I don't even trust myself so shut your goddamn mouth.” Eclipse replied, already annoyed. “Yeah, no. Who is this bunker really for because I doubt it's actually for this exact scenario?” The ai asked, leaning forward in the chair. “For them.” The sun themed animatronic started, pointing at Lunar’s body before adding “y'know, in case I ever completely lost it since I can't get rid of a certain parasitic code.” 

“That's funny considering that Lunar was the one to lose it.” Moon responded with a smug smile. “Yeah, no need to state the obvious. I heard the screams.” Eclipse grumbled with a glare and added “and now we're stuck here because of you deciding you were bored.” The ai scoffed at that “oh please, he wanted the workers head I just acted on it. They’re just the same as you under that sweet little facade of his no matter how much self control you might think they have.” The sun themed animatronic waved a hand at that “yeah yeah, at least he has a conscience and the ability to feel guilty which is more than I can say for us.” 

Moon started laughing again “sure, whatever the case, I don't feel like relinquishing anything right now given the… circumstances. You refuse to hurt the body because of them, you're so afraid of losing his trust that you don't do anything to the body.” The breaking of ropes were starting to be heard. “And I have multiple backups of Lunar in a secure hard drive, transferring someone to a new body wouldn't be the hardest thing I've done.” Eclipse said, clenching and unclenching his fist. The red and green eyed ai groaned in annoyance as he fully broke the ropes and stretched. “Wow, I thought separation would teach you to not be a liar but I guess I was wrong. I know for a fact you backup your code frequently but that's not really something you do for others.” He started before leaning forward with a smug grin. “But that was never something in your nature any way, now was it, Solar Eclipse?” He stood back up straight. “But I suppose I can cut you a deal, right here and now with no tricks.”

“Oh, a deal you say? Like the one you made with Roxanne?” Eclipse asked, sounding very annoyed. Moon just laughed in response. “Oh yes, the ‘Helix Nebula’ as you so stupidly named it. I want you to give it to me.” The sun themed animatronic tilted his head to the side. “Now, explain to me why in the actual hell you think I would give it to you of all people? Because I trust you about as far as I can throw you.” His eyes were tinted a bit red. “Hm… I wonder which wire it is back here? You always seem to cooperate more if Lunar’s at risk.” The ai muttered, feeling around the back of Lunar's faceplate.

Eclipse growled a bit. “Oh whoopty doo, there you go threatening me with one of the only two people I actually give a shit about! Of course you always go straight to threats like a child who doesn't get their way because you have nothing better to do than fuck with me and anyone associated with me!” He yelled. Moon stopped feeling around the back of Lunar’s faceplate and glared “yeah yeah, cry me a river why don't ya. I’ll give you… let's say three months to get me that Nebula of yours or I'll do something much worse than just threats.” “Yeah yeah, screw you. Get out of my sight.” The sun themed animatronic replied, giving the middle finger and hearing Lunar back in control of his body.

“When did we get here? We were just in the interrogation room.” Lunar mumbled before noticing just pissed off Eclipse was. “We were until a certain someone took over because you couldn't handle a single question about July sixteenth! It's been about a year since then Lu!” Eclipse practically yelled. “You know how that affected me, you-” the light blue animatronic started before getting cut off. “No, I don't want to hear it Lunar! I understand how it affected you but now this affected both of us! My killcode is still active and seeing that dead guard just made it worse!” The orange and black animatronic yelled.

“Stop yelling at me… I understand that you're mad but-” Lunar was cut off again. “No, I'm this close to snapping! He gave me three months to get him the Helix Nebula or he’s going to do more than threaten me! Do you better do something about it before I unplug you just to get rid of him!” Eclipse yelled, his eyes fully red out of anger. Lunar’s eyes went wide, they had never been threatened like that by Eclipse in a long time and it honestly hurt.

“Do you think I wanted this?” Lunar started out quietly before getting louder. “I never wanted any of this! If I could control Moon, I would but I can't no matter how hard I try! I never wanted to kill those kids or the worker and you know that but you need someone to blame other than yourself! You attached that code to me and now I have to live with it because you didn't want to deal with it anymore! I should be blaming you but I'm not because I know you never intended this to happen!” There were tears streaming down the light blue animatronics face, more out of anger and frustration than sadness. “Now I'm going to tell you to shut up and stop thinking like that because that means you're just giving in at this point. You fought me for control for a while and won most of the time, where has that fight suddenly gone? You're not a child, you're an adult, start acting like one. He can't do anything unless you let him because you're the main code.” Eclipse replied, poking Lunar’s chest plate to get his point across.

Lunar lightly pushed the hand away. “Moon’s nothing like how you were… he’s different from how you were and I can't control it, he doesn't fight like you did… he can just take over and I get no say in it. I would've tried by now if it was the same ‘Clipse…” He mumbled, not able to look the other in the eyes at the moment. Eclipse took a breath, trying to calm down. “Three months… that’s the deadline before he does something.” “I’m sorry I yelled… I don't like yelling…” the light blue animatronic mumbled. “Don't… don't you dare apologize, you stuck up for yourself because I yelled first.” The orange and black animatronic replied sternly.

“I’m gonna go to bed… good night Eclipse…” Lunar mumbled before heading to what they assumed was a bedroom. “Good night Lu…” Eclipse replied before sitting down on a couch, upset with himself more than he was at Moon.

Hey y'all this fic is on a temporary hiatus as I haven't had the motivation to write in a while, most of my motivation has been going into drawing rather than writing.

This chapter will be deleted once the next chapter is posted but for now, this is the update for updates on this fic.

This isn't the next chapter, just another update.

I was planning on continuing after art fight ended because I got my motivation back but the author curse got me badly this time and I broke my right wrist. I can still type with one hand but it's harder and I takes longer.

I promise to come back to this fic as soon as possible but it'll most likely after I can get a proper cast for my wrist or when it heals.
