Fun Facts!: -Gael is a great swimmer and a family man

-Gael will priorize the young

-Gael has a crocodile best friend, they used to chill together in a lagoon along with some birds

-Gael and Leona are nap buddies once both realized that they liked to laze around in the sun, though their friendship started a bit rocky

-Gael is a second year

-Gaels favorite stop to be in, is the dorm pool(?) On the lounge

-Gael is often found submerged in water with his head poking out to breathe, tho his mouth will be in the water

-Gael has messy brown hair with a hint of orange, Vil often scolds him because it's unkept and on the water often

-Gaels ears are smal and round

-He is an herbivore, meaning no meat

-Gael has great endurance from swimming a lot back on his homeland

-He has 2 older siblings and 1 younger one that is five

-Gaels is either lazy or too hyper to do something, no middle ground from those two personalities

NRC- Savanaclaw dorm lounge- 9PM

The sound of the water falling into the pool, the quiet chit chats between dorm mates and a certain hyena in the distance nagging a certain Lion for what was probably the twentieth time that day about seven knows what while a head was poking out of the water pool on the lounge, capybara ears twitching at the sound of other doormates talking of playfully roughhousing in the more open space of the dorm, everyone was just chilling before the entrance ceremony was to start and later welcome the new first years. 

"Yo Gael! You sure the water ain't cold for you?" One of the doormates asked playfully the capybara beastman who was chilling on his own with a towel on his head, knowing full well the other didn't really bother with the temperature unless it was really cold

Gael didn't bother to answer and just gave the student a side eye before going back to relaxing in the water, laughter was heard around him as the student loudly picked on by his own peers for being rejected by their classmate and college, the student, who started the interaction, was dejected bit still held a smile, he knew what he was getting into when he called out to one of the herbivores of their roommate in his relaxing time after school and homework

"Dude why do you always do this?" One with horse ears asked with a knowing smirk

"He really does not give you any face when he's in the water" another cackled

Some just laugh along, chuckled or simply smiled, some had been there for their second year now while others are already in their third and already used to the others antics when they tried to mess with Capybara beastman in his own 'basking in the water' time after school. 

It wasn't long into the teasing and the second years trying to get a reaction out of the rodent before Leona came down wearing his ceremonial robe with Ruggie, the lion prince was definitely napping in his room before the hyena came to remind him of the mirror ceremony and get the new freshmen who will get ranked after settling in, Leona yawned as he adjusted the black with gold embroidery designs robe and started to make his way outside and into the *mirror-way.

"Ruggie is charge of you losers, he has authority over all of you and will report to me if you air heads get out of line" The tall tan skinned male said with a half-assed glare directed to the more roudy students before sighing for what felt like the twentieth time of that day, and it still not the start of the week yet, it's not even Monday yet and the lion already looked like he wanted to see the end of it already to sleep before training in the morning. 

Everyone gave a 'Yes housewarden' as the second prince walked away and went through the mirror, a whoop noise was made and everyone's attention went to the hyena teen "Alrighty, let's just clean up a bit and get preparations for the freshies ready, that includes getting out of the water Gael" all they heard in response was 'Ah fucking damnit' and the sound of water moving as the capybara went out of the water in his underwear before wrapping a towel around himself as well as a feign annoyiece but it was broken quickly by a relaxed smile moreover making his way to the shared room to get himself dressed in the dorm uniform

Everyone was doing something, either cleaning up the lounge with a group, checking the food Ruggie had made earlier and trying not to snag a bit of it along with it, organizing the tables and chairs that where near the pool, while the more mischievous ones where setting up some...'pleasent' welcoming presents inside the vacant dorm rooms, if you get the gist of it, Gael was beside Ruggie carrying around some stuff and helping set up the table, the current hierarchy is basically

•Leona, he eats first 

•Ruggie, eats after Leona has taken the first bite of his plate

• some of the second and third years eat after ruggie is halfway through with his plate (Jack would be around here in the ranking)

•Gael and some of the 'rare' herbivore of the dorm alongside third years 

•Freshman, till they gain their positions in the makeshift pride that is the dorm

"Ya' think this year will be different than the last?" Ruggie asked as he put down a box that contained uniforms, in-dorm and P.E "Different? Yes...I don't know what it is but something is nagging my guts saying that this year will be wild" Gael responded as he rummaged through the boxes he had helped carry as well, Ruggie groaned a bit "Just want our highness to pass already, if this continues we'll be in the same class because he failed again" the light tanned boy rubbed his temples "Eh, at least we can all cheat in the test if it happens, he already knows everything already, plus prof Trein won't retire till he sees Leona graduating and holding the damned diploma" the other jested with a laugh, it got a wide, closed mouth, smile from the smaller boy as his hyena ears twitched "Poor prof, at least he's determined to get that lion out of the school with a path for himself to live...we should probably try to address his Indisposition with him, I kinda get the whole not being able to be king, but he sure can do more stuff in life that would but just as rewarding...a bit at least" it was silent after.

Everyone who at least knew Leona a bit could tell that the root ran deeper than that but it flared the fire inside to make sure the second prince had fun and did his best to pass, even if the progress wasn't much yet, not like they didn't try, but it seemed like they were challenging the green eyed lion's authority as the superior at Savanaclaw, Ruggie could probably get away with it since he, in a way, is the second in command after Leona, maybe some third years could too...

Well, time would tell, and they sure had a lot in their hands...

"Welcome to the mato-"

"DAMN IT GAEL!" one of second year screamed from a distance as the music blasted through the speakers they had set up, all Gael did was cackle at the familiar music and the irritation of the second years who here sick of the forgein music, the third years just sighed and some smiled, shaking their heads, already used to the antics of the younger members

(**A/n:was that something he would say? I don't have quite the grasp of Leona's character yet, unfortunately...**) 

Twst Dictionary and fact!: 

*Mirror-way: mirror-way is what I call the mirror portals, I didn't remember the name the game used for them but I thought it was a cool name to give the mirror they use as transportation 

•Fact: Capybaras don't need to be in groups unless the environment is dangerous or if they have babies with them, they will make a barrier around the babies to keep them close and walk together, same thing with the water (This info is from what I observe from the local ones and the info I was given from either internet and the higher beings, my parents)

The year had started and the other new first years, with exception some, where relatively quiet and getting along well enough with the second years and some thirds that didn't torment them for fun and as a way to assert authority. 

At the moment, the new students along with the sophomore and Juniors where all gathered near Pride rock* to hear what the housewarden had to say about this year and the plans for magift; the charter slowly stopped as they saw Leona walk up to the top and look down on them 

He cleared his throat "Well, I see a lot of promising newbies here, but it doesn't mean I will leat you slack, no, on the contrary, I'll work you to the bone so you bunch of new meat don't lack behind the more experienced" The snark in the second prince's voice was clear, his voice loud so all heard him and his presence demanded respect. 

"I'll give you a run down of what you need to expect from here, this isn't all the other princy dorms, this is a hierarchy, you will compete for your spot on the table and will respect those above you, I don't want to hear about what you can't do, this dorm is about strong willed and people who can take the heat of the battle when we compete against other dorms and the beat of going against Royal Sword Academy" his bright green eyes swept across the crowd, all of them listening to each of his words "If you can't do something, train to get better at it, push your limit and remain strong minded and be a brick wall in the enemy's way" the shade casted on Leona's head almost made it seem like his eyes where glowing, gaze piercing the new students. 

"Now, Ruggie will have the floor to talk" with that he went away, climbing back down, head high and his tail swaying side to side softly as he walked away, the second prince was elegant, prideful but he was someone who you'd rather be in his good side with him, then be his enemy, Leona was smart, cunning and could be cruel to those he despised but was good man to have as friend and would fight tooth and nail if needed, it it meant he protected those he cared for if they got deep enough into his heart. 

The hyena beastman walked up to Pride rock and gave out his signature laugh, or in the ears of other beastman, a warning, his friendly grin didn't exactly match his bluish-gray eyes that held mischief if you crossed him ,but, he had been nice to them when they had gotten there the previous night. 

"Competition for a spot in the hierarchy is through arm wrestling against the upperclassmen and the last one standing will have a match with our Housewarden"  Ruggie explained, and went on with more details about rooming, some more ground rules and especifcally saying that everyone in the dorms will respect females and to at least be civil with the few herbivores they had inside the dorm. 

With that everyone was dismissed and directed by a upperclassmen to their rooms, the chatter loud as ever and some of the more sensitive to smells took it slow to acquaint themselves with their new surroundings, it was safe to say no problems arouse from the dorm except for playful fights between friends, well, no problems except for a certain Heartlabyul duo and a 'normal' human accompanied by a fire breathing cat burning the statue of The Queen of hearts and later breaking a chandelier, truly, a roller coaster ahead of everyone in NRC.

It was the morning after and everyone had woken up early, it was the introduction of the Magift, everyone lined up on the field that was inside the dorm, P.E uniforms on, flying brooms on standby and Leona was just analyzing everyone. 

"We'll start with a few laps around the filed, and then do some push-ups, squats and stretch a bit more before you newbies get a taste of what you'll be expecting here in the field"

It was safe to say that by the end of the warmup the new students where dripping with sweat and panting, they where told to sit down and pay attention as some of the juniors and sophomores got on the flying brooms, the first years where impressed and excited to get a chance to play, be in the spot light, get future opportunities to play in team leagues and feel the adrenaline running through their blood, a certain wolf was exited to get to play with the one he looks up to this year.

TWST DICTIONARY!:

Pride rock: you guys know that in Savanaclaw there's a Waterfall in the common lounge and there like, a great smooth structure there? Yeah, Leona was on top of it while everyone else was on the other side, the only thing in the way was the pool Gael and other like to cool off for a while, but just imagine Leona's eyes somewhat covered by shade and the slight glow of the water when the sun hits the surface reflecting on Leona's eyes, making them pop more and seem like their glowing

The first few classes where relatively good and now it was lunchtime, Gael was just eating his salad with chestnuts his mom had shipped to him with some juice he got from the machine, it was relatively normal until a confused but scared scream was heard

"H-HOUSEWARDEN ROSEHEARTS!?" 

Gael, like a good foreigner he was, immediately looked towards the commotion, his capybara ears flickering a bit as his brown eyes looked at the table that had three freshmen and two classmates he knew, Trey clover and, the social media addict, Cater Diamond. "This is better then the six pm novella....psst...Azul! What is that all about?" He asked the octopus merman who was a few seats away with Jade and Floyd eating and half paying attention to the commotion a free tables away

"Freshman seemed to have been talking too much and Riddle just happened to walk by to hear and decided to give the idiot a scare, plus prolong the collar punishment" definitely checked out with what was happening on that table. 

"...Think riddle was actually going to be merciful for once?" Gael asked, already knowing the answer

"With how much trouble those tow freshman are causing and it's just the second day? Absolutely not after that fiasco" Azul replied

Jade chuckled as Floyd's sharp grin extended ear to ear, sharp teeth at full display "Fufufuhu~ kingyo-chan sure is more angry this year~ hey Jade I think this year will be more fun than the last~!" Floyd continued to laugh at the thought of the chaos that awaited all of NRC and Jade agreed with his Twin, both in it for the chaos that would come with the magicless student.

As soon as Riddle left, the Heartlabyul students began to murmur about rules they broke and how they where scared and tired of the tyranny they where under, a certain Ace of hearts was mad but quickly brightened up at some Trey had said and all of them ate fast before getting up and walking out of the cafeteria in high spirits and determination.

"You recon that whatever plan they have will trigger something?" The capybara beastman asked amused but having a bit of hope for the trio and seniors

"With how strict Riddle is? Something is bound to happen and, I'll be right there to...lend a helping hand to those poor unfortunate souls~" Azul said, a slight undertone of mischief that you at least had to have talked to him long enough and known him for a while before actually picking it up on the changes os his voice, but Azul's eyes where also a dead giveaway, the octopus like eyes and the slight blue tone on the white sclera just screamed mermaid, Jade and Floyd weren't any better, the yellow eye glowed slightly in response to Azul's magic, their sclera had a pale yellow pigmentation to it and their brownish eye's sclera had more of a dark grey color instead of white. 

"True...and do hold back on the naive minds of the freshman 'zul, and I'll be a bit late to my shift today, have a family call to make and participate but I'll take the closing shift as well to make up to my tardiness" Gael explained and offered himself, the closing shift was never a good one, there was cleaning to do on the tables, floor and the dishes, store everything back and make the tables presentable again for the next day as well as collecting tips to put them in the register. 

Azul agreed to those terms, the bell rang and all the students got up to start walking to their classes, Gael caught up to one of the new first years that he remembered the names was Jack, Jack was bulky for his age, taller than most kids and was a silver wolf Beastman 

"Yo Jack!" He was tempted to make a nickname for Jack on the spot but Gael knew some people preferred nicknames as a sign of intimacy/close friendships alike 

Jack perked up and looked behind him to see the second year "Ah, Gael Senpai, what is it?" 

"Just wanted to check on how you've been settling in, you seem to be more adequate for cold climate than the heated temperature that the dorm has"

Jack seemed kinda surprised that a senior was asking him how he was settling in into the dorm with so much people and new smells, the roommate was...nice...to an extent but the guy acted like he already knew more and wasn't a freshmen as well like Jack.

"I've... I've been settling in nicely, the dorm seems to be dedicated when it comes to the Spellfrive tournament and it's interesting to hear the others tell stories about their first year here during study time" both now where walking together, Gael seemed to want to only part when jack was at his classroom dorm, both made small talk and Jack learned that Gael had a small cactus that he had since he was 15, apparently it was a present from his older brother's wife and that it was still alive and well even now that he was 17, Jack also mentioned wanting to take care of a plant, just to see how it was like but he wasn't too keen on the idea of it just yet. ((A/N:His dear plant will be coming in later, maybe after Leona's overblot as a type of therapy for Jack.))

It was a fairly normal day for classes, Gael had taken his seat beside Jamil in the middle rows and Azul sat a bit more at the front due to his sight, Jamil, safe to assume in Gael'spoint of view, the latter didn't seem to really like him at all, but he was determined to make a friend out of the Viper, trade Fo

od recipes, dance moves, cultural music...maybe Jamil would like *Samba? *Capoeira? Maybe Jamil would be more interesting in capoeira, it was technically a fancy type of fighting and had deep roots in Gael's home history that was still practiced today as a form art, and represents Combat and resistance! 

Professor Crewel soon came into class and told them to open their books on page 60. The topic they would go over today was 'how to alter an herb's poisonous property to be used for medical purposes ((A/N:Wth am I writing about??? How the f do I go about this???... it's another dimension, so f it:)) if you can get the poison out of the leads and add a bit of healing herbs to it to make the concussion 

Professor Crewel soon came into class and told them to open their books to page 60. The topic they would go over today was 'how to alter an herb's poisonous property to be used for medical purpose

"Pair up pups! The person beside you is your partner for this lesson" 

Gael looked at Jamil and Jamil looked at him with a neutral but constipated face

"Viper"

"Santos" for Jamil, saying Gael's second name was a bit strange to the tongue, but he pronounced perfectly nonetheless 

"How are we going to do this? We need a plan first and some research before we actually go into action with the herbs"  Gael said seriously to him, it was surprising since Jamil thought of him as a moron, someone lazy or too hyped up like Kalim, it was annoying but he surprised the dark skinned teen with such a serious front...hm, maybe he was useful after all, but maybe not too much, Gael was too much of an wild card for Jamil and he didn't know Gael's unique magic or how strong willed the beastman was if the viper decided to use him as a pawn, decisions decisions decisions...

"We could get an already existing poison and see if we can reverse it to a healing? Or a stun agent even" 

"That does sound good, say, how good are you with smashing?" 

"Eh?" 

Gael smiled with a mischievous glint in his eyes, that could compare to Ashengrotto's own when that octopus found something interesting or had a scheme cooking up, but his posture was in a way that Jamil would either like the idea or be stressed about it 

"I'm listening..."

And that was how both found themselves in the botanical garden collecting herbs and pots made of stone sitting near them, they would crush the leafs and separate the 'juice' from the 'body' turn the body into powder and then start separating the poison deject from the rest and try to go from there.

Gael was looking at some of the poisonous herbes, that where separated in a section from the rest of the garden and under lock and key, looking at their names and poisonous properties on the cyclopedia they borrowed from the professor "We could used Bellanosis for this...or maybe ichiling flower?" The beastman suggested to the charcoal eyed boy

"I think we could use Bellanosis, it's a bit harder but we can make it, well, I know I can, what about you, Santos?"

"Oh ho, you should know now that, If you challenge me, I plan to do it and rub it on your face later, but in this case, want to rub it on Azul's face~?" He smiled with a mischievous glee in his eyes, Jamil got to fully see the two slightly bigger front teeth that he had 

They both looked at each other for a moment before getting to work, goals aligned and a prize in mind to win, even if there was none, they bantered a bit, more of Gael poking at Jamil and Jamil giving sass back the whole process until the timer was up, 

They had two separate containers, one holding a dark purplish pink liquid, the poison, and another that held a pink liquid, the healing properties  where In a lesser quantity then the poison, but it was still a bit more than the rest of the class, clashing with Azul and and his partner

"Good job pups, now, you call can leave the gear, folded, in the desks and got to your next period, I'll give your grades next class" said crewel as he watched the students fold the lab gear and slowly leave, Gael stayed as he corrected some of the students folded lab coats before giving crewel a smile and walking out as well

Crewel shook his head with a small smile and a huff, chuckling at the exchange student antic's 

"Silly pup"

TWST -MULTY CULTURAL EDITION- DICTIONARY!

*SAMBA(Sam-ba): is a music genre, Samba, also known here as urban samba or Rio samba, is a genre of Brazilian music that originated between urban communities of afro-brazilians on Rio de Janeiro at the beginning of the 20th century, it's very fun do dance and is often used on a celebration we have here known as Carnaval (Car-na-val) whitch happens every year and have parades, people getting dressed up colorfully, wearing masks, and bring out foods and drinks

*Capoeira(Ca-po-ei-ra): Capoeira has history here back from the colonization era we had, is a form of expression that also comes from the afro-brazilian community, is a mixture between martial arts, dance and music, developed here on Brazil by African slave descendants, possibly around at the end of the Century XVI Quilombos dos Palmares that resisted for another century of the old Pernambuco Capitinga, but now it's considered a sport and we even have schools that teach the moves, Capoeira was a form of the black people to resist being oppressed and train in secret with the cover up that they where 'dancing' back in the colonization times midst slavery era

(A/n: The plant names are basically Belladonna and poison ivy, I just decided to use out irl plants and give them other names, does this count as creating another biology? Dunno, hope you liked it and sorry for the wait! I had fun writing this, and soon, Savanaclaw to Scarabia arc, you'll see the love interest! I love him <3)

Heartlabyul was a mess, a lot of the new and older members where being collared left and right, Riddle had gotten upset about some people not following the rules and not knowing them, one went to try for help, he was talking with Carter when a second year went to him crying and looking stressed.

"Trey senpai! You gotta help!" The black haired boy cried out in distress, a familiar magic blocking collar around his neck, it was heavy and uncomfortable with little room to move and made everyday tasks difficult, like putting on shirts or getting comfortable when it was time to sleep

"Roseheart senpai is going crazy! One of us forgot to do the right kind of tea, and Housewarden caught us! He's mad! Furious even, six of us got beheaded!"

Trey looked conflicted, and Cater looked dejected at the news. Both knew that Riddle was in a mood over the entrance ceremony and the fiasco it was with the magicless student and the monster that had snuck into the school grounds, said monster put fire in the mirror Chamber, leaving some students with burns and damages to school property.

Trey sighed and signaled Cater to help him calm the red head and minimize the number of students getting collared left and right with the 'Queens' anger.

Both third years walked, one looked pained and stressed, and the other was serious and taking deep breaths, the poor second year went away from sight, wanting to hide from the storm that was about to happen

A new day rose, the Ramshackle duo woke up early and already had materials to clean, both reluctant but wanting to least get to the library at the end of the day when the 'shift' is over

Crowley cleared this thorat. "Now that you are both handyman, you can start by cleaning from the entrance to...hmmm the first floor, and since I am oh so gracious~, the own school ghosts will help you between classes, when lunch comes, you guys can use this," he handded Yuu a employee pass, it was a small card, looked like an ID, it was black with the schools insignia at the front with the words 'Lunch ID' in the corner on a fancy font "With this, you can use to grab enough for you and your companion to eat before going back to work" as the crow fae spoke, the feathers on his coat puffed in a dramatic way to emphasize each word he spoke and made you pay attention to him 

"Understood? Brilliant! Now off I go, I am a very busy man! Ta~ta!" And with that, he disappeared out the door 

"Mwaahhh, that crow is being unfair! When am I going to learn crazy spells?! And be all like 'BOOM!' 'BAM!' 'WHOOSH!!!' And the other would see that I, The Great Grim!, am The best and first monster to go down in all of magic history!?" Grim complained, his tail swishing side to side in an agitated manner

The human sighed but made sure Grim followed them as they picked up the cleaning supplies the ghosts of the doorm left by the door. 

They could already tell it was not going to be a good or easy first day. "If higher power exists, then they gave up on me" they grumbled and began the long trekk to the main entrance 

The scenery was calm, surprisingly, and as soon as they got closer to the main school grounds, they started to see students. Some had fish like characteristics that were subtle, some had animal ears and tails and some looked like they came from a fairytale book, statues where seen, one looked like a Queen, strict, the second was of a lion on top of a rock, determined, the third was of a octopus lady, cunning, a sorcerer holdinga snake staff, wise, another Queen that seemed to be the most beautiful, the fairest, a God like figure with fire hair, persuasive, and a dragon lady that the statue oozed off an aura, powerful. 

While the duo was distracted, a ginger boy with a heart on his eye sneaked up on them. "What'cha doing?" When the student said that both the cat and human jumped from fright with a yell 

"Hahahaha! Should've seen your faces!" He laughed, using a hand to wipe a tear drop

"Hey! what's your deal?!" Grim growled 

The ginger ignored him. "so, you went from a possible student — to a janitor? LAME! you're stupid enough to get THE Dark mirror to tell you you're soulless, talentless, AND Magicless?!" He laughed, his laugh taunting them, Yuu kept quiet, and Grimm was getting angrier. "And you, the reject fiery weasel, you think a monster can get in? Please, you're better off as a fur scarf for an old lady." 

"Just who do you think you are?!" Grim snarled, his fur fluffed up in anger.   

The ginger boy just smirked, clearly enjoying the reaction he was getting out of Grim. "Oh please, don't get so offended, I'm just stating the facts."

Yuu tried to stay calm, but it was hard not to get angry. "You have no right to judge us like that."

The ginger boy just laughed. "Oh really? And what are you going to do about it?"

Grim growled and hissed but stayed quiet while Yuu had a frown on their face

"How about this! We race, from the gates of the school to the last statue!" He pointed at The Statue of the Queen of Hearts 

Grim, of course, being a bit cocky, agrees to the race immediately. But as they race towards the statue, Ace takes the lead. He was almost winning when Grim puffed out fire ball, Ace, feeling the heat on his back, dodged and tripped, falling down, and the ball of fire hit the statue, burning it black 

"Gah! Oh no... No- no no no no no-! Now the Queen of Hearts's statue looks like it's been flame-broiled!" The Ace card said horrified as he stumbled up to look at the damage 

Grim huffed and puffed as he touched the base of the statue, no paying much mind on the damage he did. "Haha! I win! Now you can't make fun of us anymore!"

"What is going on here? Cease this at once!" Crowley shouted in rage

"The headmage!" Ace attempted to scramble away, but he was caught by a wip wrapping around him like a snake.

"Gah!" Both he and Grim exclaimed in pain

SO, my focus is currently on Twst and Aliens, and recently, I've been listening to alien stage (Ruler of my heart to be exact) and so I thought, why not combine the two when I get further out into the current story?
