Summary:

"My my my... what do we have here?"

You shivered in fear at the gigantic being before you. You and your cookie friends had tried your best to seal the rift in the tree with white lily cookie. However, your actions proved pointless. White lily cookie's powers were still too weak and your time had run out. You all watched in horror at the towering cookie grinning down from above.

Chapter 1: Bird Cage

"My my my... what do we have here?"

You shivered in fear at the gigantic being before you. You and your cookie friends had tried your best to seal the rift in the tree with white lily cookie. However, your actions proved pointless. White lily cookie's powers were still too weak and your time had run out. You all watched in horror at the towering cookie grinning down from above.

"It's been so long since we've seen new faces! we were starting to get bored being by ourselves in here..." Shadow milk cookie smirked as he took a look at each cookie standing before him. When his eyes had reached you, his gaze stayed far more longer on you than the others. You trembled from his cold piercing stare, a small whimper escaping from your lips as you backed away and hid yourself behind pure vanilla cookie.

Shadow milk cookie chortled at the pathetic display. "Oh, how I have missed the faces of fear from you cookies! Never gets old!" Now that the rift had opened big enough for him to pass through, Shadow milk cookie stepped out of the silver tree that had kept him and the others imprisoned for so long. The smaller cookies screamed in terror as they scrambled to get out of his way. Every footstep he took practically shook the earthbread beneath their feet.

"Pure vanilla cookie!" Fear clouded your mind as you tugged your leader's arm in desperation. "What are we going to do?!" Anxiety gripped your heart when he hesitated to think of a solution. One of the most powerful beings in all of cookiekind has just been unleashed and is ready to bring chaos to the world once more. Just how on earthbread will any cookie be able to stop such beasts?

Before pure vanilla cookie could even think of an answer, You cried out in alarm as you were suddenly lifted into the air. The other cookies screamed your name as you watched their forms grow smaller and smaller. You gasped as you were face to face with the grinning jester.

"What a cute little cookie you are." He eagerly examined you as if he were a child that had been given a new toy, turning you this way and that. "It's been ages since I had a little pet to dote on. You'll make a fine addition to my collection!" Your mind raced as you tried to understand what you have just heard.

A collection? A pet to dote on? What on-?!

Your thoughts were interrupted as you heard a snap of... fingers? Confused, you found yourself locked inside some sort of bird cage; The bars were thick enough to keep you from escaping. Shadow milk cookie cooed as he watched you attempt to break free. "No-!" You tugged and pulled at the bars keeping you in.

"No! Y-you can't keep me in here! Please!" You cried out to him in desperation. Shadow milk cookie only giggled and shook his head, "Ah, ah, ah! You're staying right by my side, my little cookie." You shuddered in fear as he began to summon his powers once more. Shadows seeped out from your surroundings and from his body. Multiple cold blue eyes stared at you and the cookies still down below.

"Now, my dear..." With a clap of his hands, monsters of every kind stepped out from the shadows, ready to obey their master. With a manic grin, shadow milk cookie spread his arms out in grandeur to the cookies below. With a perfect view from above, you could only watch in horror as your friends were surrounded at every side by monsters of all sizes.

"Let the show begin!"

Chapter 2: Extra: Longan Dragon Cookie x Reader

Summary:

Some headcanons for those waiting for the second part!

Longan Dragon Cookie was the sole reason I got back into the cookie run world. As a treat for myself and for other Longan lovers, I wrote these. Enjoy 💛

Chapter Text

  • Getting along with the ivory dragon was a bit... difficult at first. Given that you were a cookie and they were a dragon, a tension was present whenever you two interacted. However, the small talk you two would get into would eventually ease away that tension.

 

  • They're a dragon of few words, but whenever they spoke, you would listen intently to every word they say (can't blame you, their voice is as smooth as honey). They would notice this and begin to appreciate you for doing so.

 

  • They saw you fawning over a flower that had started to grow near the entrance of their palace. Now they have a full garden for you to walk around and admire the many flowers and exotic plants in it. The both of you stroll the garden together every morning and night. All of this, just for you. 💛

 

  • Once you're both officially together, Longan doesn't hesitate holding your hand(s) and pulling you closer to them. They don't say it, but they like the obvious size difference you both have. Sometimes, when they're seated on their throne and have you on their lap, they're comparing your hand with theirs, admiring the difference you both share. "So small..."

 

  • When you first sleep together, you hesitate getting closer to them, unsure if they would be comfortable with it. "My dear cookie, come here." They'll bring you close to them, your face in their chest. You sighed at the embrace. Snuggling closer to them, your worries and fears melting away. 

 

  • For you, Longan was a pillar of strength. For them, you were a pillar of love. The bond you both share together wasn't something they had expected. Perhaps.. perhaps the plans they had for your kind didn't need to come to fruition. The age of dragons can return in a different way, and it starts with both of you.

 

  •  When they first showed you their true dragon form, all you could do was stare in admiration. "Longan..." you stepped closer to them, touching the tip of their snout. Your eyes were full of love as you gazed at their face. "You're so beautiful."

 

  • Once there's a moment where you're about to/get to be attacked, Longan is quick to get between you and the attacker, not caring the slightest if they end up getting striked in the process. They're completely silent as they use their powers to disintegrate the enemy with no second thoughts.

 

  • You know they're powerful compared to many beings on Earthbread, but you still worry whenever they get hurt by an enemy. You're quick to look at their injuries, asking them many questions: How are you feeling? Where were you hit? Are you bleeding? Does it hurt?

Chapter 3: Extra: Pre-Corrupted Shadow Milk Cookie x Reader

Summary:

Before his fall, Shadow Milk Cookie met someone on his last journey as the virtue of Knowledge.

💙 Before his corruption, he was known as Light Milk Cookie. You first met him when he stopped to rest at your village. You were absolutely mesmerized at his appearance, barely catching onto his question. "I've traveled quite a distance. Is there perhaps an inn around here that I could rest at?"

You stuttered as you offered him a room to stay in your home, informing him that your village had no inn, just a few shops. Hearing your offer, he gave you the most beautiful smile you have ever seen from a cookie, thanking you for your generosity. 

💙 Light Milk Cookie had meant to stay in your village just for a day or two, in the end, he ended up staying for 3 whole weeks! Word had gotten out to the other villagers that one of the Five Great Cookies had arrived to their humble little town. Some believed he had stayed to show and tell the villagers of his knowledge that he recieved throughout the years, in truth, he had stayed for you. 

💙 During his stay, he spent most of his time with you. You would both talk about your favorite hobbies, your dreams, and the places you wish to see. Light Milk Cookie would listen to you with great interest, mentally keeping notes of what you like, what you didn't like, things you yearned for, and so much more. 

💙 Your village is founded in the middle of a forest with a river nearby. You were a bit more adventurous than those in your village, so you would show him the many hidden spots that had the best sceneries in the forest. There was eventually a moment where the two of you had confessed your feelings for each other. The gentle sound of running water of the nearby river and the soft chirps from the birds among the trees only made the moment even more intimate and romantic. 

The two of you practically spent the whole day in that quiet little spot. Hidden away from prying eyes, the two of lay close to each other, your hand entangled with his as you listened to his many stories of his past adventures with his friends. 

💙 Before he left to continue his journey, he left you an enchanted scroll. He laughed softly at your confused face, "This scroll will allow us to communicate, even when we're far apart from each other." Reaching inside his backpack, he took out another scroll and a quill pen. He took a moment to write something and once he finished and closed the scroll, the soft chime of a bell rang from the scroll you had been holding. 

Opening the scroll, you blushed as you read what he had written for you. "This is.. this is amazing!" You gazed at the scroll with wonder and excitement. Light Milk Cookie's heart fluttered at your praise. The enchanted scroll had been a new idea that he came up with recently. To hear this from you filled his heart with so much joy! 

💙 With an embrace and a loving kiss, you bid him a farewell. You stood at your front door, your gaze never leaving his form as he grew smaller the further he walked away. Only when he was completely out of sight, did you finally return back to your home. He had left you the magic scroll, but he had also left you with a few items of his own. You reached for the scarf that he had gifted you, you giggled as you wrapped it around your neck, the sweet smell of blueberries enveloping your senses.

💙 As time went on, the two of you would exchange letters to each other at every moment. The sound of a bell ringing in your house almost every minute. Weeks would go by as he would tell you about every cookie and creature he would encounter in his path. Some good, some bad, and some downright strange. As the holder of Knowledge itself, you knew he was stronger than any other cookie in this world. Still, you can't help but worry whenever he mentioned having to fight a beast or some vile bandits. 

💙 Just as he wrote you about his encounters, he wrote you many poems dedicated to you and your hometown. Some had you giggling and some had you completely red in the face. His words were like honey; He yearned to have you by his side, to join him in his own kingdom. He made promises to take you to see the vast world that is Earthbread. 

💙 Eventually, he had reached his destination and promised to send you a letter later that night. You waited a whole day, but then that day turned to weeks, and those weeks turned to months. Your mind and soul ached with worry for your lover. You would send him a letter once a day, hoping for any response. Your heart aching for his comforting words. 

Nothing. 

💙 One morning, as you were preparing breakfast to start your day, you froze as the sound of a bell chimed across the house. Rushing to your room with tears in your eyes, you quickly grabbed the scroll from your desk, your hands shaking as you read what he wrote you. 

I'm coming, my dearest.

A shriek of terror was heard outside the moment you finished reading the words. Your heart pounded with fear as you ran outside to see the commotion. You gasped at the sight before you. What once was a beautiful morning sky has now turned to complete darkness. Eyes... many blue blinking eyes, big and small, littered the dark abyss. All of them seemed to be looking straight at you. 

💙 Laughter. The sound of laughter rang out throughout the sky. "At last, at last! I've returned to you, my love!" You gasped as a cookie suddenly appeared right in front of you, causing you to stumble back and fall. Before you could even hit the ground, the strange cookie caught you just in time. 

"Be careful, my precious pearl! Wouldn't want you to crumble so soon!" His eyes twinkled at you mischievously, giving you the most biggest grin you've ever seen from a cookie. You looked at the strange cookie, no, the strange jester, with confusion. His voice, the hair, and those brilliant blue eyes. They reminded you so much of him. Surely, it couldn't be...?
