Chapter Text

The Start.

Wednesday, 01:47

Dark, somber clouds covered the sky.
Pink rain falling down on the school, killing every living creature around it. Wind that blew, thunder that clashed. Another mysterious stormy night that wouldn't end till the morning.

The huge, heavy doors of the castle got pushed and slowly creaked open. A familiar figure entered the school, wet and steaming, burn wounds on her skin. She dropped on the floor, exhausted.
"I told you not to go outside anymore at this hour." Yellow said, appearing from the shadows of the dark halls. She walked to the person, the sound of her heels filling the quiet empty halls.
"I had to..." The person looked up, her cloak revealing her blue eyes.
"I had to try it again Yellow." Blue said exhausted. Yellow kneeled and grabbed her lover's hands. "Blue...darling..." She said as she removed the cloak of Blue.
"You're only hurting yourself if you keep doing this. Look at you! You're a mess! Your old wounds didn't even get the chance to heal..." Yellow's hand softly caressed Blue's face "if you keep going to do this...you'll never get better..."

"But i am the one who control the waters! Blue interrupted. She stood up and got frustrated "I am the strongest watergem out there and i should be able to control the rain!"

"But this is 'rain' isn't water Blue!" Yellow stood up as well "We don't even know what it is! We only know WHO created it and we know that we CAN'T control it! Even you can't..."
Yellow made sure she stayed close to Blue, looking in her eyes. Her gaze soft and filled with care, but slowly showing annoyance in her eyes.
"I have to Yellow! The shield is getting weaker everyday because of the rain...if it breaks she can enter the school...i can't let that happen!"

"But it won't happen! The shield is strong enough!" Yellow fisted her hand as she grew more annoyed by Blues stubbornness.
"You can't stop me! No matter how many times you try. I will keep going, and i don't care if i get hurt or die."
Blue looked pissed off, she understood that Yellow just wanted to take care of her and that she meant well, but this was serious. And out of all gems, Yellow should understand it.
"FINE! Go out there! Get hurt! Be burned! I don't care! But don't come to me to help you, because i will not do it anymore!"
And by that, Yellow turned around and walked away, fading away in the shadows.

Blue sighed. She had messed it up again, she knew that, but she couldn't stop. She walked the other way to her chambers to cover her wounds up.
______________

The morning arrived and Blue had slept through her alarm clock.
She stood up and put on her stockings, skirt and blazer and grabbed her heels. After quickly dressing up, she rushed out of her chambers. Only 5 minutes left till her class started. Of course it started at the other side of the school, so she would be late. This would be the first time and she didn't want that to happen, it would look bad for her image.
Even tho using magic or flying in the halls was strictly forbidden, she decided to use her wings to fly so that she could come in time.
Of course with her 'luck' she almost crashed against one of the Elite's members: Grizzelda Griffin. Blue quickly stopped and landed on her feet. "Shit."
She thought.
"Grizzelda! I didn't know you were visiting today...! How are you?" Blue asked the half human, half griffin. She was nervous, hoping she wouldn't get in much trouble.
"Miss Diamond! Don't you know the rules this school has!? It's strictly forbidden to use magic or to fly in these halls!" Grizzelda snapped. Blue looked embarrassed and her cheeks got a little dark blue. She noticed students staring and giggling a little bit. "You've worked here for thousands of years! Do you not understand your OWN rules?"
Grizzelda tapped on Blue's gem, her claw-like hands scratching against it but not leaving any mark. "I do" Blue softly said, and looked at Grizzelda's nail on her gem, feeling humiliated. "What did you say? I couldn't quite hear you..." Grizzelda said bitterly and slightly bended over so that her face got closer to Blues.
Blue could smell her breath. It smelled like death, as of she just came back from a hunt.
"I said i DO." Blue said pissed off, trying her best not to gag.
"Good. Now hop hop, go to your class or you will be late."

Blue bit her tongue as she didn't want to snap at her. She walked past Grizzelda and cursed under her breath, still feeling humiliated. She wasn't a student Grizzelda could just scold! She was the headmaster of this school for stars sake!.
"Blue!"
Her thoughts got interrupted as she heard Yellow call her name. Yellow walked to her and looked confused.
"What happened? It's unlikely for you to get in trouble?" Yellow asked, slightly concerned.
Blue sighed "I was late for my class so i decided to fly a little to be faster..." she looked at her watch. "...but i guess that is useless now as i'm 5 minutes late.
Blue groaned and sighed, still feeling annoyed.
"Wait, flying? Blue you know that is strictly against the rules! And as one of the headmasters, you should know!" Yellow said, sounding strict.
"I know, but i was already late! I slept through my alarm..." Blue started to feel more annoyed by Yellow and
kept walking through the halls.
"Late? You? How!?" Yellow looked surprised and walked with Blue.
"It just happened alright!? I barely got any sleep these past weeks..." the blue gem answered, getting more pissed off by every word she spoke.
"Stars! I wonder why..." Yellow answered sarcastically and rolled her eyes.
"If you just listened to me, this wouldn't hav-"
"Look Yellow." Blue interrupted and stopped in front of her classroom door.
"I don't need your sarcasm or advise. So just go away, and do your own thing."
Blue quickly entered her classroom and closed the door behind her so that Yellow couldn't answer. Stars, how she hated these small 'arguments' she had with Yellow. She looked around and saw that her students were already in their seats. Some were reading in their books, some were just messing around and others were asleep. They haven't noticed Blue yet and kept doing what they were doing.
"Okay..." Blue sighed and sat down behind her desk. She clapped her hands and the students stopped, sitting down on their seats. The ones who were asleep, stayed asleep but Blue didn't care enough, she was to tired. She wanted to be the one asleep right now.
"Alright open your books on page 245 and we'll start learning about the Great War or how some call it "The Revolutionary War..."" Blue said.

Chapter Text

The year was 660. The war has been going on for hundreds of years and it was predicted for it to last another thousand of years. Different species were at war to fight for power, to be the strongest species. Gryffin's, Dragons, Phoenix's, and more. Even the smallest creatures participated in the war: Fairies and gnomes. It all started when the Dragons were still the most feared creatures. The Dragons forced every species to go to war and fight against each other, just so that the dragons could have entertainment. Until one creature decide to come out of the dark to show her light. A gem, many thought those were extinct, until one of them decided to show her face after many years. With her light she tamed one of the most feared dragons and showed her full control over him. With that, everyone got confused and started questioning things. They decided to stand up and live no longer in fear. The war started. As it kept going, people started to wonder: "Who was the most powerful?" Confusion and curiosity was created and the people fighting in the war had a new purpose: finding out which species is the strongest and who deserved to lead? It was a gruesome war, every place was a massacre. Limbs and organs were scattered everywhere, but the war was still going on. After many years. The 5 strongest came together for a truce. A dragon, a griffin, a phoenix, a Chimera and a Diamond. They all promised to work together and to keep the peace they promised each other and-"

Suddenly Blue got interrupted by the bell and the students started packing. "Make sure to finish your homework for tomorrow on page 245!" Blue quickly said knowing they probably didn't hear her at all.

13:00 It was finally break time and Blue walked around in the school's park, enjoying the sun. She walked further away from the school, to a place students weren't allowed to come, where she could be alone for a moment. She sat down on the grass and felt the soft breeze going through her hair. The sound of birds chirping and the students laughing in the background felt peaceful, but she didn't feel it completely. She laid down on her back and closed her eyes.

"Your skirt is going to be dirty if you keep laying on the grass." Blues eyes shot opened as she heard the familiar voice and saw that it was Yellow. Blue sighed. "I know..." "So how was your day?" Yellow said, sitting down next to Blue. Immediately, Blue moved over and rested her head on Yellow's shoulder.

"Exhausting...and it's not over yet." Blue sighed and yawned. Yellow chuckled and wrapped her arms around her beloved's waist, keeping her close and comforted.

"I could fall asleep like this..." Blue said with a soft smile and had her eyes closed. Yellows fingers went through the snowy hair of Blue and she sighed. "Sorry if i acted like an ass yesterday." Yellow said as she looked at the grass. "W-what?" Blue looked surprised and looked at her lover, confused.

"I know you do it because you want to protect this school and everyone in it...and instead of helping you, i'm trying to stop you-" Before Yellow could finished her sentence, Blue placed her index finger on her lips. "My darling..." the azul gem started and cupped the golden gem's cheek. "I understand your reasons...you're trying to protect me from harm..." Blues face got closer and blushed as she spoke. "And i appreciate it, i really do...i might not always accept your help, but that doesn't mean i will never need it...because i will..." She sighed and her fingers brushed against her lover's lips. Yellow felt her face burn, and placed her hand on Blues that was on her face. Their fingers interlocked and Blue slowly pulled Yellow into a kiss. Their kiss deepened as Yellow wrapped her arms around Blue's back, pulling her closer and almost on top of her lap. Blue wrapped her arms around Yellow's neck as the heat between them grew but she quickly pulled away. Yellow gasped for air. "Why did you do that?" She asked flustered. Blue chuckled. "What if someone sees us? We don't want our little secret be exposed..." the azul gem said with a flirty voice and a smirk. "Besides...the classes are almost starting again." Her fingers walked on Yellow's chest and tapped on her gem. "But we can finish this later..." Blue said with a teasing tone as she stood up. She wiped her skirt, and smirked. "See you later..." And Blue left, leaving her darling flustered. Yellow watched Blue walking away. She couldn't help but stare at Blue's hips and sighed. She tried to get her focus back and laid down on the grass.

Blue walked trough the halls, to her classroom. She didn't want to be late like earlier in the morning, so she did her best to get there early so that she can get ready.
Blue looked out the castles windows as she she walked and looked at the sky. No clouds, the sun was shinning and birds were chirping and finding places for their nests. She sighed, everything was so peaceful at day but at night, so many animals get killed because of the rain. She had to get out there and get hurt to save the school. Getting burned again, old wound aren't healing anymore as well as they used to. Maybe she needed to listen to Yellow this time, and actually stay inside for once. The shield is strong enough to stay stable for one night, right?
Blue opened the doors to the classroom. She walked to her desk and snapped her fingers. The door closed and her stuff appeared on her desk. She sat down on the chair, checking her lesson book.

"Blue." Someone called for her. She looked up from her book and recognized the voice. She looked at the window and saw a phoenix sitting there.
"Asmea, come in." Blue said as she placed her book down. The phoenix flew in and transformed into a person before landing. A short, redhead stood in front of her, with a bow and arrow on her back. The sunlight reflected on her brown skin, her elf like ears with a bite one, and a scar across her nose. Asmea was the youngest member of the Elite's and the leader of the Hunter's group. To Blue, Asmea was to young to be part of the Elite's. She is only 1600 years old.

"I suppose you either have good news or bad news..." Blue leaned her elbows on her desk.
Asmea took a step closer. "Oh it's nothing special, just a reminder. Next week is the first school day for the new students...yada yada yada...you know the routine." Asmea said as she searched for something in her leather pouch. "That's next week!?" Blue asked surprised. "Must've slipped my mind..." Asmea looked at Blue confused, her hand still in her pouch.
"Slipped your mind? That's new..." Blue sighed and decided to ignore her comment. "Ah, here it is." Asmea said as she grabbed a letter out of her pouch. "This is all the information you need for the ceremony." Blue took the letter from Asmea and placed it on her desk. "Thank you dear." She sighed. "Is there anything else you have for me or can i do something for you?" Asmea shook her head. "No thank you, i'm just playing as the mailman today." Suddenly the bell rang, interrupting Blue's and Asmea's conversation.
"Well i better get going. Don't want any of the  students to see me." Blue nodded ans watched Asmea turn into a phoenix again, flying out the window. Shortly after, the students entered the classroom and were talking. Blue sighed and rubbed her temples. Oh how she wanted this day to end.

Finally, what felt like and eternity to end, it was over. Blue entered her dorm room and plopped down on her bed, exhausted. She yawned as she buried her face into a pillow.  She could and wanted to fall asleep but knew she couldn't. She had to stay awake since it would start storming in a few minutes. But her body felt exhausted and weak. Weeks of getting not sleeping did not do her well. She sighed and turned to lay on her back. She kicked her shoes off and took her blazer off, throwing it on a chair. She sighed again and took of her blouse, revealing the bandages underneath. It hurted to remove her blouse but she did it quickly and threw it somewhere on the ground. The Diamond stood up and walked to the bathroom. She looked in the mirror and sighed. Blue carefully removed the bandages, the wounds were mainly on her shoulders, arms, and neck. They were closed but not completely healed, even the older ones looked like they just closed. Yellow was right, she shouldn't go outside and let her wounds heal, so it was decided. She stayed inside for tonight to get some sleep. But of course she ain't doing it alone. She grabbed her blouse of the floor and puts it on, not bothering to close the buttons. Blue walked to her bed and laid down on her back. She grabbed her phone and messaged Yellow to come over for the night. Within a second, Yellow had teleported and was on top of Blue. "Sup." Yellow said and kissed Blue. Blue wrapped her arms around Yellow's neck wanted to pull her closer. The kiss lasted a few second before it broke. "Hey sweetie..."
Blue said and smiled, cupped her lover's cheek.
"So what do you need from except a kiss?"
Yellow said with a smirk and a faint blush was on her cheeks.
Blue chuckled "oh dear...i don't need something. I just wanted to say that i'm staying here tonight. You were right, i need some time to heal..." Yellow's eyes widend as she heard Blue talk. Finally her love took her advice and listened to her. "You finally decided to listen?" Yellow grinned and gave Blue small kiss. "Yes yes...anyways. i just wanted to spend the night with you. If you don't mind..." Blue said as her hand went through Yellow's dark blonde hair. The golden gem sighed, feeling relaxed as she felt her lover's touch. "You know i don't mind...and i definetly don't mind this." Yellow smirked and buried her face in Blue's cleavage. Blue felt her face heat up and felt flustered. Blue sighed and she kept playing with Yellow's hair. "Come on, get off me. I have to change." Blue said with a small giggle.
Yellow sighed. "Alright fine..." she said as she got off Blue.
Blue smiled and got off the bed. She grabbed her pyjamas of her chair and removed her own clothes.
Yellow looked away to give her some privacy, but she couldn't help but peek a few times. A few seconds later after Blue was done, Blue crawled on the bed and laid down on top of Yellow. She rested her head on her lover's chest and sighed.
Yellow's hand went through Blue's hair.
"Goodnight darling..." Blue said and kissed Yellow before going to sleep.

Chapter Text

02:45

The rain was aggressive. Animals who didn't have shelter, where dead. They either got a slow, painful death by the raindrops or a quick death by a thunderclap. Blood covered the grounds and death was in the air. Blue, who woke up by the sound of the thunder clashing, saw it happening. A deer, running towards the school, seeking for shelter. It's skin slowly melted and when it reached the shield, it exploded. It's blood and guts where spreaded everywhere. Blue sighed, hoping that all the students were asleep and didn't see this. Blue instead was used by this sight. After all she had seen worse. She looked at the picture frame in her hands, tear drops falling on it as she looked at the gem in the picture. It was a small gem smiling while hugging Blue. Oh how she missed her. Her little Pink. She remembered how she used to hold her in her arms, hugging and how she was suddenly holding a lifeless body. She sighed and looked out the window again. She closed her eyes, trying to calm down, but the faint sound of the rain sizzling wasn't helping. Blue sighed again, she could go for a cigarette now, burning that nasty feeling away. But looking over at Yellow who was peacefully asleep, she knew she couldn't. Blue promised her to stop so she tried her best to, but sometimes it was hard. Especially with the depressive episodes she could have if she didn't take her pills. Blue walked to her bed and laid down, cuddling against Yellow as she covered them both with the blanket. Yellow was still asleep but pulled Blue closer to her chest when she felt her love snuggling against her.

Alvera

Thursday 08:45

Blue was in her office, preparing some small things for the ceremony. Meanwhile, Yellow walked through the castles halls as she didn't have any class today. She was on her way to her office, to check on some things. Suddenly a Griffin, Werewolf and a Lapis ran and flew past her as they were late for their classes. "Hurry up!" The griffin said and they didn't notice Yellow at all until she shouted. "NO RUNNING IN THE HALLS." Yellow walked closer to the students and looked at the Lapis. "And no flying." Yellow looked the Lapis dead in her eyes. Quickly, the flying gem did what she got told to and landed on her feet. The group of students felt anxiety go through their bodies as they looked at Yellow. "What court do you three follow" The students felt Yellow's gaze pierce through their bodies. "Uhm...P-pink's and miss B-Blue's, ma'am..." The werewolf said. Yellow rolled her eyes. "Grade?" "What...?" The lapis asked. "Grades! I'm asking what year you are in! 7th!? 8th!? 9th!? Stars! Is it that hard to understand?!"

"9th grade!" The Griffin suddenly said, sounding anxious. Yellow sighed. "Names?" "U-uh...My name is Nora Lazuli and these are Cecil Griffin and Kronis Wolf...We-" "Alright i've heard enough." Yellow interrupted. This was taking to long and she lost her patience with them. "You three better go your classes now...you're already late..." Yellow held her hands behind her back and looked down at the students. "I wonder why..." The wolf mumbled. "WHAT did you just say!?" "Nothing!" And the three students quickly walked away. The students were turned a corner, out of sight of Yellow. "She is always so angry..." Nora said. "She probably didn't get laid by miss Blue last night..." Cecil responded and they giggled. Yellow sighed and suddenly felt a cold claw on her shoulder. An old voice with echo started to speak.

"Don't worry about them Yellow." A woman said. Yellow turned around and saw that it was the leader of the Elite's, Lady Alvera. Her original form was a dragon but she was now disguised as a half human half dragon. She was wearing a red dress that had a front layer on the skirt, which was detailed with golden thread on the sides. The dress had red cape sleeves with her shoulders exposed, you could see the marks on them. Her horns were big and strong, decorated by golden chains and her claws were sharp, her finger tips had silver metal covers on them. Her brown skin was glowing in the sun and her red hair glimmered like fire. On her forehead was a scar that looked like it was caused by electricity.

Yellow bowed her head out of respect. "Alvera..." She felt her chin gently getting lifted up and she felt sharp claws almost digging in her skin. "Don't bow my dear, we're equals, remember?" Alvera said looking down at Yellow, she is like 2,35m? Yellow always felt small around her, even tho her original size is like 28m. Yellow sighed. "So? What's your reason to visit today? Need help with something?" Yellow asked, trying to sound as normal and cold as possible to hide the fact she felt intimidated. Alvera chuckles and lets go of the Diamond. "Oh dragons no! I don't need anything from you now Yellow. I'm just here for the new school year's ceremony! I'm excited to meet the next generation of witches and wizards, monsters and gems." "I see.." Yellow responded and rubbed her chin, she still felt the metal claws of her Alvera digging in her skin even tho she already had let go of her. "But that is next week. Why are you here now?" Yellow asked and raised her eyebrow. "Oh am i not allowed to visit some old friends?" Alvera chuckled. "No i am i here just because i have nothing else to do! Besides it's been to long since we hung out." Alvera said while she placed her hand on Yellow's shoulder. "Now where is that darling of yours, Blue?" "She is in her office." Yellow responded and slightly blushed by the thought of Blue. "Wait what do you mean " my darling"? We aren't a dating?" "Oh don't lie sweetheart!" Alvera said with a grin. "You can hide it from the students, but not from me." She grabbed Yellows hand and started walking, taking Yellow with her. "Now tell how's you day been?" Alvera said as she placed her hand on Yellow's shoulder again, this time slightly squeezing it. Yellow looked confused, what did this woman need? She is never like this unless she wants something. "Good i guess?" She saw that Alvera took Yellow with her to Blue's office and was even more confused.

When Alvira opened the door she let Yellow go first then bowed so that she could enter herself. Blue looked from her desk, confused. "Yellow? Alvera? What's going on?" Blue said as she walked to Yellow and stood next to her. She looked up at Alvera who has a slightly irritated smile on her face. "What have you two been doing these past years!?" She suddenly snapped and out of. reflex Yellow grabbed Blue by her waist. "WHY IS SHE STILL OUT THERE!?" Alvera said angry as she pointed out the window. Her eyes fully glowed red as she got more irritated and her wings slightly spread. "What are you talking about!?" Blue asked shocked and held Yellow tight. "You know what i'm talking about! Don't. Play. Dumb. WHY HAVEN'T YOU TWO CAPTURED WHITE!?" Alvera shouted and she slightly grew taller as she got more angry. Blue bit her lip as she was nervous and Yellow still held Blue. "We're working on it! We swear!" Yellow quickly responded and looked up at Alvera. "Well what's taking so long!? It's been years Yellow! THOUSAND of years!" Alvera fisted her hand. "She is just hard to find! She can be everywhere and just don't know where!" Blue said as she took a step back. "Well go look! What are you waiting for!? And what's with the shield!? It's getting weaker, aren't you going outside at night anymore!? "Shit" Blue thought. "I-i am! B-but..-" "BUT!?" Alvera's voice echoed trough the office, and faint red aura appeared for a second, making the room slightly shake. Yellow quickly pulled Blue behind her and looked annoyed. "No but..." Blue said. "Tonight i'm going try to stop the rain and make the shield stronger...again." Blue said with a sigh. Yellow's expression went from irritated to concerned as she looked at Blue. "Good girl..." Alvera said and she was back to her original size. Blue looked annoyed by the praise. Alvera was treating Blue and Yellow like they were toddlers. Alvera snapped her fingers and the door swung open, she bowed so that she could fit through the door frame as she left the room, the door slamming shut behind her.

Yellow and Blue stayed quiet, processing what just happened till Blue sat down on her office chair, feeling defeated. She hid her face behind her hand. "WHY are we letting her talk to us like that? A Diamond is stronger than a dragon for stars sake!" Yellow walked over to Blue and placed her hands on her lover's shoulder. She grabbed Blue's hand so that Yellow could see her face. Tears were in the Diamond's eyes and she looked at Yellow. "Why can't we just-" Blue got interrupted by Yellow who gave her a kiss on her cheek. "You know why darling. She the leader of the Elite's! Plus our powers haven't been...the same." Blue groaned and placed her hand on her gem. "Oh please...don't remind me. Only makes me feel more weak..." Yellow sighed and grabbed Blue her hands, warming them up. "Don't worry dear, we'll find a way to end all this." Blue looked at Yellow, not believing her words at all. She stood up and got frustrated. "How are you so calm about this!? Out of the two of us,YOU are usually the on who is-" Blue got interrupted by a knock on the door and only got more annoyed. Yellow sighed. "Come in." The door opened and a teacher and a student walked in. Blue sighed and sat down on her chair again. She motioned for the student to come in and the teacher left. Blue grabbed a paper from her desk drawer and a pen, giving it to the student. "Fill your name and reason why you got send here, then go to the detention room." And so the student did what they got told to do. Short after the student was done and left, it stayed silent between the two Diamonds. It felt awkward, until Blue broke the silence. "I don't want to go and try to fix the shield tonight Yellow...my haven't fully healed yet..." Blue sighed and looked at the papers the student had filled in. "Don't worry dear...you know i always stay awake just in case you need my help. I Promise to to be there when you need me." Yellow said as she looked at Blue. Hearing those words made the blue gem's heart melt. Blue stood up again and wrapped her arms around her lover's neck, holding her tight and not wanting to let go for a long time. "Yellow sighed and her fingers went through the snowy hair of Blue. "Come on Dear, we still have a lot of work to do and classes to give..."Yellow said with a sigh and slightly pulled away from the hug. She kissed Blues forehead and lets go off her. "Work can wait for a few seconds." Blue said as she grabbed Yellow's hand, pulling her closer again. "What are you-' Before Yellow could finish her sentence, Blue kissed her on her lips. Yellow was surprised but kissed her back, closing her eyes and wrapping her arms around Blue's waist. Blue wrapped her arms around Yellow's neck as the kiss grew more passionate. She bit on Yellow's lower lip and licked the same spot, making her beloved groan and feeling flustered. The golden Diamond moved her hand to Blues thigh and her fingers went under Blues skirt, caressing the fire blue skin and gently squeezing her thigh. Blue softly moaned as Yellow's tongue enter her mouth and felt her hands exploring her chest, slowly unbuttoning her blouse so that her cleavage was exposed. Blue felt how Yellow's fingers caressed every inch of her chest and her body started to tremble. She wanted Yellow to go further but their sweet moment got interrupted by the sound of the bell. The two quickly let go of each other as they came back to reality.  Blue gasped as Yellow let go of her and grabbed the edge of the desk. Her body was shaking and she was feeling flustered. She was a little annoyed but duty was calling for them. She buttoned her blouse again and crossed her legs. "Already?" Blue said with a sigh. Yellow chuckled and cupped Blues cheek. "Don't worry, before you know it, this day is over and you have me all for yourself darling." Blues cheeks turned a darker shade of Blue and she smiled. "That sounds amazing." She said as she placed her hand on Yellow's that was on her cheek and she gave her a small kiss on her lips. "Alright alright." Yellow said as she pulled away, she chuckled and blushed. "I have to go now." "I know." Blue sighed and watched Yellow walk to the door. "See you later sweetie." Yellow said and opened the door. "See you..."Blue sighed as the door closed and got up from her desk.

As the day finally started to end and the sun started to settle. Blue watched through the arrow shaped window and leaned against the windowsill, resting her head on her hand. She sighed as she looked as she watched the sun going down. "What are you doing?" A familiar echoing voice said. Blue gasped and turned around. "Alvera i-" "Why aren't you getting ready?" The dragon said as she walked closer. "It's not the time yet, i have to go in an hour." Blue said, she really didn't want to go outside tonight to fix the shield, she wanted to spend the night with Yellow. "Well why aren't you getting ready?" Alvera said annoyed and looked out the window. "I don't really have to prepare..." Blue said as she tapped her finger on the windowsill, she got a little nervous by Alvera's intimidating presence. "Do need to remind you that this shield around the school is the main one of all the shields and that if it gets destroyed, no kingdom will be protected anymore from White's dangers?" Alvera said and gave Blue a piercing look. Blue looked away. "I know..." "Then GO," Alvera said with a commanding voice. "I don't need one of Whites creeps to enter my kingdom and cause trouble." With Alvera took her leave. Blue groaned and rubbed her temples. She hated Alvera with a burning passion but she was right. If this shield gets destroyed then all the shield will be gone as well and no one would be save anymore. Blue looked at the sun again as it hid behind the trees of the forest. This place was once calm and peaceful, and now every night there was a bloodbath happening because of the rain. It wasn't safe to go out at night anymore and students weren't allowed to go further than the outer court anymore than the to protect them. The freedom everyone used to have was gone; The more Blue thought about this, the more annoyed she got. She started walking her room and tried to think of something else.

When she arrived at her dorm, she looked out the window again, it was almost time. Her outfit started to glow and changed into her old blue dress again. She grabbed her cloak and puts it on. Suddenly her phone buzzed and she grabbed it from her desk. It was Yellow who sended her a message.

"Good luck tonight again sweetie, you know i'm awake just incase you need me♡"

Blue smiled. "Thank you love, but i think i can handle it♡"

The peacful silence got interrupted by the sound of soft raindrops. Blue looked out the window and saw that it was dark outside, pink raindrops falling on the windows making a sizzling sounds. Luckily Yellow's spell protected to whole school from harm. Blue place her phone on her desk and teleported to the rooof of the castle. It was time.

Clouds covering the land, wind that blew through the trees, making a uncomfortable sound. The pink acid rain that dropped, making the ground burn and sizzle. Animals were either harmed or death, the carcasses slowly burning away. Trees fell down and birds fell from the sky. Small fairies flying for their lives and trying to avoid to get hit by the acid droplets as one hit was already enough to kill them.

Blue stood on to roof and tried her best to either stop or slow down the rain while she also tried to keep the shield stronger. The rain hit her skin and burned its way through, but luckily her cloak catches most of the so called rain. She was already doing this for a few hours but it wasn't going to stop soon. Suddenly thunder stroke the shield, making the ground shake and Blue dropped on her knees. She was exhausted and tried to catch her breath until she suddenly heard a rustling sound coming from the bushes. Blue stood up again and looked around, trying to ignore the pain the rain was causing. It wasn't a student that was still out right? It's to late for them to be awake. "Who's there!?" Blue shouted, hoping for an answer she wasn't going to get. Blue got more concerned and held her cloak tight. She jumped of the roof and landed on her feet, she walked to the source of the rustling noise, hoping that it was just an animal and not a student or someone else. As she got closer to the bushes, a monster jumped out on Blue, she shrieked and fell on her back. The monster growled as it stood behind her, hidden in the shadows. It's sharp teeth were showing and saliva was dripping from it's blood covered mouth. It's eyes were bloodshot and it's claws were long and blood covered. Blue turned and tried to stand up. She looked at creature and tried her best to identify it. It looked like a type of wolf, but mutated and infected, and who's blood was that? Blue got nervous by the thought and kept staring at the monster who slowly revealed itself. It had white, short fur and it's body was covered in bloody scars. A big strange shaped wound was on its forehead and it looked like it had a heartbeat, as if the wound was a different creature. Maybe that was infecting the wolf like monster? Blue fully stood up and took a step back. The rain was still harming her but all she could focus on now was the corrupted wolf in front of her. It a flash, jt charged towards Blue and jumped on her. It's long claws scratched her eye and in a second Blue moved her hand to impale the monster with a beam of light. The wolf fell on it's back and shrieked. Blue couldn't make any noise as she kept staring at the floor. Her hand covering her eyes as she felt the warm liquid stream out of it. She was frozen in fear and she couldn't feel anything because of the shock. The wolf slowly stood up again and a big hole was on it's body because of Blue's power and blood was flowing out. The wolf looked like it wasn't affected by it and suddenly flesh started to grow on the hole, it slowly healed itself and when it was done a big scar was left on it's stomach. It turned around and ran away as a faint familiar laughter was following it.

Then the pain kicked in.  Her eye was bleeding yet she couldn't scream as her voice was stuck in her throat. Her breathing got faster and hitched, tears streamed down her face, mixed with the dark blue blood coming out of her eye. Her body felt weak and she couldn't stand up, her arms were shaking and weren't able to support her anymore, she was panicking and couldn't scream for help. "Why can't move!?" "What's happening!? "I'm a Diamond! Why can't stand up!? I had worse than this for stars sake!"  Blue's head was filled with questions and confusion but mostly panic. Her vision got more blurry and all she could hear was a ringing tone that only got louder and louder. "Why can't i-" Blue's thought got interrupted by an electric noise and the last thing she saw was a blurry person walking to her before she blacked out.

08:15
Her heartbeat was calm and her breathing was slow, all she could see was black and she felt that she was laying on something warm and soft and not on the cold, hard ground anymore. She didn't want to wake up but the bright light shining from the window didn't help. Blue sat up straight and yawned. Her eyes opened but her vision was still a little blurry as she looked around the room, realizing it was hers. Her eye started to hurt again but less then last night. Blue stood up from the bed and realized she was wearing her pyjamas, Yellow must've brought her here. By the thought she felt relieved that it was her darling who took care of her and not someone else. She took her shirt off and ;grabbed a blouse that was hanging on the vanity chair and she puts it on, realizing it wasn't hers but her beloved's. She walked to the bathroom as she buttoned it and looked in the mirror. Her eye was all patched up and she gently touched the bandages. By the memory, she felt the sharp claws of that blood driven monster again, how sharp and cold they were. What was that thing and why did it attack her? Blues thoughts got interrupted my noise coming from outside. She walked to the window and opened the curtains, seeing thay every teacher was in front of the forest, even Yellow. Some teacher were gagging or walking away, and with confusion, Blue tried to focus her vision more as it was still Blurry. There was blood on the grass and limbs of dead animals were scattered. Trees were broken fallen down from the storm Blue gasped, she didn't remind that from last night, what happened? She looked at Yellow who was talking to Alvera, and she seemed furious.

"WHERE IS SHE!?" Alvera shouted. "WHERE IS BLUE!?" "She is on her room healing right now!" Yellow answered and sighed. She looked at the bloody mess, what type of animal could've done this?
"We have to get rid of this as quickly as possible." Alvera said "ASMEA!? Where are you girl?" Soon as she said that, a phoenix appeared in front of her and transformed into a more human like person. "What is it? Asmea asked. "Please deliver this message to all students. The lessons will keep going and they still have to go to the courtyard for training! We-"
"Are you stupid!?." Yellow interrupted Alvera. "The students are not allowed to see this at all! If they see this they will freak out and will find out about the current situation we are in!" Yellow said and turned around, walking to a corpse of an animal. She crouched to inspect what could've killed it. "Don't go near that?!" Alvera said disgusted and slightly freaked out. "This school is supposed to be a safe place for the students. They can't start doubting us." Yellow said as she was still looking at the dead deer in front of her. "The forest area will be closed till this is all cleaned up. No further discussion." And with that statement, the teachers and Asmea left. Yellow looked at the body of the deer. She noticed huge claw marks on the stomach, she snapped her fingers so that gloves appeared on her hands and she slightly opened the wound on the dear more. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Alvera said freaked out and looked away. "I want to find out what killed it." Yellow said as she looked at the claw marks. She noticed a something black in the scar and it looked like it was pumping, as if it has a heart beat. She grabbed a test tube out of her pocket and opened it. "I'm out." Alvera said as she turned around. She spreaded her wings and took flight, leaving Yellow alone. The Diamond rolled her eyes and looked back at the strange black thing. She grabbed tweezers out of her chest pocket and carefully grabbed the black, fungus looking thing. It was holding on on the deer's body with it's tentacles and made a squeeky noise as it got grabbed by the tweezers. Yellow managed to remove it from the dear's body and placed it in the tube, closing and bubbling it. With a tap on the top of the bubble, it got send to her room and she looked back at the place that fungus like thingy was. It had left small holes behind as it was feeding of the deer.
Yellow sighed and stood up, her gloves disappearing again.

The second Yellow teleported away, Blue looked at the door of her room, as if she was expecting her. And she was right, Yellow stood there. "Ah you're finally awake! I knew i felt eyes pricking in my back." Yellow said with a slightly annoyed voice. Blue looked confused. "Y-yeah, i just woke up 10 minutes ago. Are you alright?" Blue asked with concern in her voice. "Yeah i'm fine." Yellow said and walked to Blue. "How does your eye feel?" she said as she cupped Blues cheek.  "It feels better, it still stings a little." Blue smiled and placed her hand on Yellow's. "I see. Your healing abilities aren't the same anymore..." Yellow said. She let go off Blue and walked to the bathroom. "I suppose that's because i got.harmed a lot these past months..." Blue said with a sigh and sat down on the vanity chair. "I think i have something that can help you with that." Yellow said as she grabbed a small bottle out the medicine cabinet and walked back to Blue. "Really?" Blue asked with hope and curiosity in her voice. "Yep, just take a spoon once a day till the bottle is empty." Yellow said as she placed the bottle down on tbe vanity. She stood behind Blue and placed her hands on the other diamond's shoulders, gently squeezing them. Blue looked at the bottle. "What even is it?" She looked at Yellow through the mirror. Yellow looked deep in thought till she heard Blues question and snapped back to reality. "Uhh it's a new medicine the nurse made. It's to heal your wounds or powers. In your case, both."  Yellow answered. "Now sit still, i'm going to remove the bandages."  Yellow said and crouched next to Blue to meet her eye level. She gently cupped Blues chin and tilted her head a little. "This might hurt a little..."  Yellow said carefully removed the bandages, revealing a scar across Blues eye and her eye color was lighter. Blue flinched a little as the scar started to sting more. "How does it look?" Blue asked hoping it wasn't horrible. "Not that bad, just a scar that needs to heal and your eye color needs to go back to normal. Usually it should've been fully healed by now..." Yellow said and let go off Blues chin. She walked to the bin and threw the bandages away. Blue looked in the mirror inspecting the scar. It was closed but not fully. She could still feel the claws by just looking at it. She looked at Yellow who was looking out the window, looking at the bloody mess that was getting cleaned by small goblin-like creatures. Yellow sighed. "Do you know who or what caused this?" "No, sorry." Blue said and stood up. She walked to Yellow and placed her hand to the other woman's shoulder. "Do you even know what attacked you?" Yellow asked and looked at Blue. "No..." Blue said with a sigh and looked at the floor. "It looked like a wolf, but not completely. As if it was a new type." Blue said and leaned against Yellow. Blue wanted her affection, not to talk about what happened yesterday even tho she knew it was important. Yellow sighed and was clearly not in the mood for this. "A new type you say? Can you describe how it looked like?" She asked bitterly and looked at Blue. "...well like i said before, it looked like a wolf. But it had very short, white fur and bloodshot eyes...it had something weird on his head and it looked like it was...pumping? Like it had a heartbeat!" Yellow's eyes widend a little as she heard Blues description of the creature. "A heartbeat..." Yellow repeated for herself. It reminded her of the black creature that was in the deer's wound this morning. Yellow sighed frustrated, it looked like she was slowly losing her temper and could explode any second now. Blue noticed and wanted to help and placed her hand on Yellow's shoulder "Do you maybe want to cuddle? I could-" No." Yellow interrupted and kept looking out the window. Blue looked suprised but didn't want to give up. She grabbed both Yellow's and in hers and gently squeezed them. "Yellow darling... Blues voice was filled with concern and she noticed that Yellow's hands were trembling a little. "Are you alright?" Blue tried to read Yellows face and she got slightly worried. "You're not going out there anymore. No matter what Alvera or who else will say!" Yellow suddenly said pissed off. "Yellow what are you talking about!?" Blue looked confused. "If you're talking about the fact i have to go out tonight for the shield...you know i can't just-" "LOOK AT YOU! That monster could've harmed you more!" Yellow interrupted again and she got more frustrated and worried by every word she said. She looked in Blues eyes and cupped the azul gem her cheek. "You are lucky that it's claw only hit your cheek and eyebrow! What if it hit your eye!? You could've been blind forever Blue!!" Yellow said angrily but was still holding Blue gently as she didn't want to hurt her beloved in any way. "I should've come with you...i could've protected you!" "I'm fine Yellow!" Blue answered. "I don't want you to go out with me at night! And you know i can't just stop-" "I DON'T CARE about what you want and what you can or can't do now.  Right now you are going to listen to me and i say you aren't going out there anymore!" Yellow stated and looked in Blue's eyes. Her gaze was piercing and it felt like it was going through Blue's soul. "But..." the Diamond tried to say but Yellow interrupted her again. "No buts! You are going to stay here and take as long as you need to heal! I will take over your work, wether you like it or not!" With this, Yellow couldn't be convinced anymore by whatever Blue would say and she didn't bother to try it as she knew. Blue sighed and fidgeted with the end of the blouse she was wearing. "Alright Yellow..." Blue felt defeated but she also understood Yellow's point, she was hurt badly by that monster and it could've been worse. All Yellow wanted was to protect her beloved and she wanted to do it now.
"So what now? Do you want me to stay in my room or..." Blue said and also got a little annoyed. "Well actually yes." Yellow said strict and held her hands behind her back. "I want you to stay here and take your time to heal!" Yellow looked in Blues eyes. "Wait you want me to stay in this room till my eye is healed? Yellow i'm not some little kid!? And what about the ceremony that is in a few days!? We both have to do the intro to help the new students for their first day!" Blue said and crossed her arms. "By then your eye should be healed." Yellow said. "And the reason i want you to stay in here is because i don't want to the students to see their principal who is a DIAMOND for stars sake, wounded! They'll start to question things! It's a pretty big scar that you can't just cover up with a lie!" Yellow said as she cupped Blues chin, gently lifting her face up so that she could look in Blues eyes. "Alright fine!" Blue said with a annoyed sigh. "Good. Now if you'll excuse me, i have a class that starts in 15 minutes." Yellow said as she let go of Blue and walked to the door, leaving without saying anything anymore. Blue sighed and walked tot he bathroom. She was pissed off by Yellow's strange behaviour and it was bothering her a lot. She grabbed her anti-depressants and opened the bottle. "How could she just leave like that? No kiss or goodbye."Blue thought and took a pill out the bottle. All she wanted to now was to be in her beloved's arms after everything that happened, but nooo she had a class to teach even tho she could ask a different teacher to do it. Blue only got more annoyed and she filled a glass with water, swallowing the pills immediately after. "Now i have to stay in this room till my eye is healed" . Blue sighed and walked back to her bed, plopping down on it. She grabbed a pillow and hugged it. She stared blankly at the ceiling and didn't know what to do now.

09:17

Meanwhile Yellow was on her way to the exit of the castle. What Blue said was actually quite useful, she was able to get a subtitute for her class and was now able to do something more important. When she was outside, the sun hit her face and the sound of birds flying past interrupted the silence. No one was outside since it wasn't allowed, that was because of the incident that happened last night. Yellow looked around and everything was clean, like it never happened. The closer she got the beginning of the forest, the stronger the feeling got of eyes pricking in her back. This time it wasn't Blue, this gaze felt stronger and far more dangerous and she had a feeling of what or who it was. Yellow walked in the forest and looked around till she saw red, bloodshot eyes looking at her through the shadows. She stared back and felt shivers running down her spine but she tried to stay calm. She stood still and watched the creature getting closer with careful, wobbly steps and soft growls. It slowly came out the shadow and Yellow's feeling was right. It was the wolf walking towards her on it's two back paws, towering over the gem. "You know, if you want to appear like a wolf, you need to walk on all fours." Yellow said and took a step closer. The wolf growled and did what she said. It's mouth was covered in blood from all the victims it attacked last night and it's paw was covered in dark blue blood. Yellow crouched and stared at the claw as she gently patted the wolfs head, avoiding to touch the weird beating thing that was on it's head. She sighed. "You know...if you were hungry, you could've just gave me a sign and i would've come and feed you, as always." The wolf didn't say anything and was breathing fast and uneven. "And you promised you wouldn't lay a hand on her." The wolf growled and stood back up om it's behind paws. "You don't get to say anything..." it's voice was shaky and sounded like a distorted radio signal, it softly echoed through the forest. "It was a promise!" Yellow said. "You promised if i let you roam around the forest freely, you wouldn't touch anyone or make yourself noticeable!" Yellow said as she stood up. "And guess what, you failed pretty bad since you not only harmed Blue, but you also killed almost every living thing!" The wolf's body twitched and saliva dripped from it's mouth. "I was hungry..."
"Then kill the animals that are further away from the forest..." Yellow said and held her arms behind her back. "They aren't there...they knew it wasn't safe there anymore." The wolf said, sounding like it was out of breath. "Then find a new spot! In a different kingdom or whatever!" Yellow and sounded annoyed. "I can't hide you in here forever! Summer is coming close and lessons in the forest are starting soon again! You need to find a different place and leave us alone." Yellow sounded commanding. She wanted to protect Blue and the students but if that wolf never listens, it was going to be hard and a lot of problems would come. The animal paced around in cirkels. "I'll leave for now. But remember the deal Yellow." The wolf said as it took her leave and walked deeper in the forest. "How can i forget..." Yellow mumbled and sighed, she couldn't believe she was doing this. The Diamond walked back to the school and looked at the watch on her wrist, a few minutes left till her next class starts.

The bell rang and students were walking and talking in the halls. Teachers were on their way to their classrooms or to take a break. Yellow walked past them and could feel some students staring at her with slight fear. The Diamond wasn't really proud of the fact that students were scared of her, but at least they knew that they couldn't just fool her and disrespect her. The halls slowly got emptier as the students arrived at their classes. Yellow looked around to see if some were skipping class and were hanging around in the halls. As she looked around while she walked, she saw in the corner of her eye a full black and white creature smiling creepily at her. She quickly at it's direction and it was gone. Yellow was confused but thought it was her mind playing tricks on her, it always happened when she was stressed or overworked. She walked to her class and pushed the doors of the classroom over. The moment she entered the room, students immediately sat up straight and stopped messing around.
"Alright then..." She mumbled and sat down on her desk chair, starting the lesson.

12:45

Blue was walking around in circles in her room, thinking of what she could do to pass the time. She was stilled pissed off at Yellow's behaviour this morning and it bothered her a lot. She looked at her vanity desk and saw the bottle with the healing potion Yellow gave her. She sighed and grabbed the bottle, looking at it. "A spoon a day..." she repeated Yellow's words for her herself and shrugged. Blue opened the small bottle and grabbed a spoon, pouring the gold colored medicine in and brought the spoon to her mouth. Blue thought it would probably taste horrible but to her surprise it tasted like blueberries. Blue sighed and placed the spoon back down on the vanity desk, she sighed and looked at the clock on the wall. It was only 12:47 and it felt like time was passing so slow.
Blue thought about what Yellow said, that she should stay in this room till her eye was full healed, she ain't doing that. Blue grabbed her clothes and quickly changed.
She buttoned her blazer and wiped her skirt, now she only needed her heels. She had threw the corner because she hated those shoes, she rather walk on barefeet lile she used to. Not to mention she that fell a lot when she first walked in heels. Yellow made it seem so easy. Blue sighed and grabbed her heels, putting them on and walking to the vanity mirror, checking her hair. When she was done she checked the.time again, 13:00. By this time Yellow would be either outside or in her office. Blue teleported to the school's garden and looked around. The sun was shinning and students were allowed to go outside again. Blue walked closer to the forest were she was attacked, maybe Yellow was there? Looking around she saw no one until she heard a familiar stern voice. Blue looked at the direction of the voice and chuckled when she saw Yellow when she saw Yellow addressing students. She recognized the group of students because they got send a lot to her or Yellow's office for trouble making. When the group left Blue walked to Yellow and sat down on her knees behind her. Yellow must be in deep thought as she didn't notice her.girlfriend behind her. Blue wrapped her arms around Yellow's waist "BOO!" Yellow froze in place and recognized Blues voice. "Blue! Don't scare me like that!" Yellow said annoyed. The other Diamond chuckled and hugged Yellow tight. "Oh sorry baby..." she said in a teasing tone of voice. She moved to sit next to Yellow and smirked at her lover's annoyed look. "Aw did i scare you that bad?" Blue said and wanted to annoy Yellow as much as she could. "Shut up." Yellow said annoyed and looked at the forest on the other side of the lake in front of them. Blue chuckled and wrapped her arms around Yellow, pulling her closer and giving her a big smooch on her cheek. Yellow blushed and sighed. "I thought i asked you to stay in your room till your eye was fully healed?" She said with a formal voice. "Well...yes..." Blue said and looked at Yellow, waiting for her to look her in her eyes. Yellow sighed and kept her gaze at the forest, as if she was staring at something. "Well then why aren't you?" Yellow said, still keeping her focus at the forest. Blue looked confused and stared at the same spot, seeing nothing but trees and bushes. "I was bored."  Yellow couldn't help but chuckle a little as she expected that answer and  kissed the blue gem's cheek. Blue felt her face heat up and her cheeks turned a darker shade of azure.  She smiled and rested her head on Yellow's shoulder. "Now don't be to clingy...what if a student sees us like this?" Yellow said. "Yes yes i know. Gotta keep this a secret....but how can you expect me to not touch you when you're so close...i love you." Blue said with a smile and closed her eyes as she leaned against Yellow. "I love you more..." Yellow said as she looked back at the same spot of the forest. She felt fear creep through her whole body as she saw red, bloodshot eyes stare back at her. The wolf stood on her back paws, staring with dead in her eyes at Yellow until it suddenly faded away in the shadows. Blue looked up at Yellow eho was still staring at the place where the wolf was standing. "What are we looking at?" Blue asked  as she  looked at the same spot. Yellow snapped out of her thoughts. "Uh nothing, don't worry." She stood up and stretched. "Well i have to get back to class. I guess you aren't going back to your dorm?"  Yellow said and placed her hands on her hips, looking at Blue with a smile. "Nope, i'm going to my office and prepare some stuff for the ceremony." Blue said "i can't sit still and do nothing the whole day. I need something to distract me...from everything." Blue sighed and noticed Yellow held het hand out for her to grab. Yellow pulled Blue up and chuckled. "Of course..." the two stared in each others eyes, getting lost. Blue cupped Yellow's cheek and kissed her on her lips. Even tho they should.hide their relationship from everyone, they couldn't keep their hands off each other. The reason why they didn't want to get caught was quite bizarre. They were both Diamonds, the strongest gems alive. If their secret got revealed that they have a weak spot, then there would be a big chance it will be used against them.

Yellow was in her class and the students were doing their job. The Diamond was checking some papers about the ceremony that will happen in 3 days. Blue had already organised some stuff and now it's Yellow's task to finish it. She was focused on some document until she saw the black faint figure staring at her in her eye corner again. She looked up and it was already gone. Yellow got uncomfortable and felt it's presence, as if it was invisible. She looked around and saw the creature behind a student, smiling and looking at them with murder in it's eyes. Yellow immediately stood up from her chair. "Class is over! I want you all out, now!" She said as she pointed at the door. The students looked confused but they quickly grabbed all their stuff and quickly left, leaving Yellow and the black figure alone.  Yellow looked at it and electricity surrounded her arm, ready to attack.

"Take form." Yellow commanded. "Alright alright, no need to attack me, Yellow." The figure said and changed to it's original form. It was a woman with a full black and white theme, she looked like some type of jester.  "A mimic, great." Yellow said annoyed. "This mimic has a name, and you know it." She said and laid down a table, kicking her feet. "Why are you here,  Celena" Yellow asked and crossed her arms. "To take the souls of students so you could shapeshift into them!?"  "No...yes...who knows!" Celena said and hummed. "Did White send you?" The Diamond asked and was slowly losing her patience with that mimic and her stupid games. "Maybe. I just had to keep an eye on you." The mimic said and transformed into a cat. She jumped of the table  and walked towards Yellow. "What do you mean with that? Does White not trust me with me doing my part of the deal?" Yellow's eyes followed the cat walking towards her desk. "Maybe." The cat jumped on the desk and licked it's paw. "Well then tell her that i'm doing it and that there is no need to send her little spies!" Yellow said pissed off and looked in the cat's eyes. "Uh no, i'm not a little message birdie or whatever." Celena said as she transformed into an owl and flew to sit on Yellow's shoulder. "Plus she ordered me to stay here with you till your part of the deal is done!" The owl said with a chuckle. "Great..." Yellow said sarcastically. "I know right!" Celena smiled and got more comfortable as she sat on Yellow's shoulder. "Get off." Yellow looked at Celena who looked disappointed. "But i just got comfortable!" Celena answered and looked with big eyes in the golden eyes. Yellow didn't respond and just stared. "Alright fine!" Celena said as she jumped of Yellow's shoulder and transformed back to her original jester form. Yellow said back down on her desk chair and leaned her elbows on it. "If you are going to stay here,  do not want you to bother me or anyone else. Got it? You're only here to do what White asked you..." Celena rolled her eyes at Yellow's words and sighed. "Yeah yeah i get, don't worry." She said as she crossed her arms. Yellow looked back at the papers in front of her and started writing things down again. The mimic watched Yellow do her job and sighed, trying to get her attention. Yellow ignored her, she forgot how annoying mimics were. They're like spoiled children with the ability to transform into people they stole their soul from. Celena sighed again but this time louder. "What do you want!?" Yellow said as she placed her pen down. Celena smirked. "Nothing. Just wanted to annoy you..."  she said as she spun body around in different directions.  "Well you're doing a good job." Yellow sighed and knew that Celena was going to be a pain in the ass.

Monday
07:45

Blue looked in the bathroom mirror and fixed her hair as she got ready for the day. She looked at the scar on her eye, it had almost faded, but her eye color hasn't completely returned to normal yet. She grabbed the medicine bottle and took another spoonful. The taste started to get worse every day, but at least it healed her eye and her healing abilities. Just as she was about to put the bottle back in the cupboard, she felt arms around her waist and someone kissing her neck. "Hey sweetie..." Yellow said as she rested her head on Blues.

“Oh hi honey.” Blue said as she looked at Yellow through the mirror with a slight blush. “What are you preparing for?” the golden Diamond asked, raising her eyebrow.

"Well, I know you don't want me to teach for a while, but I can't sit still. So I thought I'd just do my stuff in my office." Blue said as she looked up at her love.

"Ah okay." Yellow said as she held her lover tightly. Blue leaned against her, closing her eyes and enjoying the warm embrace of her personal heater.

"You never told me who took over my lessons?" the azure Diamond asked, opening her eyes and looking up at her love.

"Oh, Grizzelda did that." Yellow replied simply and started playing with Blue's hair.

"WHAT!?"

Blue turned quickly and looked at her lover. "Why her!?" she asked nervously and shocked. Yellow took a step back as she was quite surprised by Blue's sudden reaction.

“She was the only one available.” The taller woman said as she became confused by Blue's nervousness. Blue let out an irritated groan, "Nooo…why her." She sighed. "I'm probably going to get lectured about how I'm not doing my job properly or how I need to 'grow up'" Blue said irritably and hid her face behind her hands. Yellow placed her hands on Blue's shoulders for comfort.

“Well, it's not your fault you're hurt. You just have to take the time to rest.” The azul Diamond moved her hands away. "You're right... it's your fault!" Blue said as she pointed to Yellow.

"Wait what?"

"Yes! You want me to stop teaching for awhile, and now i will get lectured by that old BIRD!" Blue said as she became even more irritated. “A teacher getting lectured sounds ridiculous!” her hands waved around in the air.

Yellow chuckled when she heard Blues words. She grabbed the other Diamond's wrists. "Don't worry honey, I'll take care of it. For now, relax and do your thing." Yellow said as she pulled Blue closer to her by her wrists and wrapped her arms around her neck. Blue blushed as Yellow pulled her closer and felt her warm hands touch her waist.

“Yeah okay.” She said with a sigh and looked at the floor. Yellow kissed Blue's forehead and let her go.

"I'm almost done getting ready, I just need to put on some makeup." Yellow said as she walked out of the bathroom. She walked over to the vanity table, grabbed her makeup palette and brush from the vanity drawer and sat down on the chair.

“Oooh, let me do it for you.” Blue hummed as she quickly followed Yellow and sat on Yellow's lap. She took the brush and palette from Yellow's hands. "Close your eyes." Blue commanded as she tapped the powder with the brush. "Yes Madam."
.
Yellow said and did what she was told to. She placed her hands on Blue's hips and let Blue apply her eye shadow. The golden powder was carefully applied to Yellow's eyelids, one and then the other. When she was done, she placed the palette and brush back on the desk. "Wait, something's missing..." Blue said as she grabbed her lip gloss.

"Hm? And what is that?" Yellow opened her eyes and looked in the mirror to see the eye shadow. "Just a little something..." Blue said and applied the lip gloss to her lips. Yellow raised her eyebrow and before she could say anything, she felt Blue's hands on her cheeks and she was pulled into a big kiss.
Blue pulled back and smiled. “There, nice and shiny!” She caressed Yellow's cheek with her thumb and looked into her eyes, where she got lost. "Thanks darling..." Yellow said and blushed. She rubbed her lips together, spreading the gloss more. "Always..." Blue said and kissed Yellow on the cheek, leaving a faint mark. Unable to control herself, Blue kissed Yellow a few more times all over her face. "Blue please..." Yellow said, chuckling. Blue gave Yellow one last kiss on her lips and got off her lap. "Well...now you're all set."

Yellow chuckled and stood up from the chair. "Well then… I guess I'll see you in your office?" She asked as she fixed her tie. "Mhm. I'm going to prepare some things for the ceremony because it will take place in a few days." Blue twirled a strand of hair around her finger and sighed. Yellow's eyes widen. She had forgotten to start preparing for the ceremony because she was too busy with other things, preparing lessons, etc. "Oh yes! I forgot..."

"You haven't started yet!?" Blue asked in surprise. “Were you that busy with your classes?” She raised her eyebrow and tilted her head slightly, looking a little confused. "Uh yeah, I guess...sorry, I'll help you when I finish my work." Yellow fixed her sleeve and looked at Blue. "I'll see you later." She turned and left the room, closing the door behind her. Blue was left alone and she looked in the vanity mirror.

The sound of heels filled the empty school halls. The students were either at home enjoying weekends with their parents or in their dorm rooms doing whatever. Yellow's fingers ran over the stone walls, tracing the cracks and she muttered something under her breath. Suddenly black smoke appeared behind her, forming the same annoying figure she saw yesterday. Yellow sighed and stood still. "What do you want, Celena?" She asked rather annoyed. The smoke took the shape of the facial expression, first her smile and then her eyes, then, her full form was visible and she was floating excitedly around Yellow.

“Well, I'm just seeing how my favorite gem is doing!” Celena smiled creepily at the Diamond, showing her greyish teeth. Yellow sighed and started walking again. She was glad the school halls were empty, otherwise she would get in trouble if anyone saw her walking next to this annoying floating mimic.

“Soooo, what's the plan for today?” Celena asked as her head turned a full circle.
"Can you stop that? And it's none of your business." Yellow sounded irritated and a little weirded out by the way Celena could twist her body like that. She pushed the floating mimic away before turning to a darker hallway.
“Oh, come on, don't be like that!” The mimic quickly caught up with her and pouted. "You're so mean..." She sounded childish and pleading. Sharp claws placed on Yellow's shoulder stopping her in her tracks.

In a quick move, Yellow faced the mimic.
"Can you leave me alone!?" The gem snapped before trying to push the creature away. The torso turned into smoke as Yellow's hand went through her. With an annoyed sigh Yellow turned away and started walking again. Maybe if she made some pace that thing will leave her alone, a quick turn and walking downstairs might help. Yellow arrived in one of the smaller basements of the school and she pushed the heavy wooden door open. Yellow looked over her shoulder to check if Celena stood behind her and sighed relieved when she saw no one. She closed the door and when she looked in front of her again, Yellow gasped as she saw Celena standing in front of her with that dumb smirk on her face.
"Will you EVER leave me alone!?" Yellow asked, getting more irritated by the mimic's presence.

"Nnnnoooo" Celena's body spun in different directions as she moved to stand next to Yellow. She stretched her arm and wrapped it around the other's shoulders, pulling her closer and squeezing her.

"Sooo....what is this place?" Celena said with a big smile and her eyes looked around in different directions, inspecting every corner of the room. It wasn't big and it was quite messy. The bug desk in the middle of the basement had scattered papers and different types of bottles and other experimental stuff on it.

"That's...none of your business..." Yellow placed her hand on Celena's face and pushed her away. The Diamond walked a little further in tge basement till she arrived at a smaller desk, wiping the papers she had used for older experiments away and opened her vest, grabbing the testing tube with the strange black creature in it. She opened it and dropped the strange squeeking creature on the desk, snapping her fingers so it got pinned down by force. She turned on the fire underneath a bottle to heat the bright green liquid in it up and grabbed a jar with purple colored herbs of the shelf. Carefully plucking a few leaves of the purple plant and carefully added them to the heated up potion. Yellow's focus was completely on the bottle and adding the leaves one by one.

"What ya doing?" Celena asked as she suddenly appeared next to Yellow. With a startle Yellow dropped the purple leaves, makung a small explosion in the bottle.

"That's it." Yellow thought and snapped her fingers, her magic lifting Celena up and taking her out the castle with quick speed.
"I should've done that sooner..." she mumbled and her finger traced the top of the of the bottle, reversing the explosion and the dropped leaves. With another try, Yelllow opened the jar of the the purple herbs and carefully and succesfully added them to the potion, making it go from bright green to bright purple. As final touch, the Diamond added a glittery tpe of powder, instantly turning the potion black and a skull shaped puff of smoke escaped the bottle

Yellow grabbed gloves and a serringe out of the desk drawer, putting the gloves on and gently placing the needle in the bottle, filling it with the deadly potion. She looked at the creature that was squeeking loud and aggresivley, trying to get it's little tentacles free. "Stay still..." Yellow placed her finger on the creature and stabbed the needle in it's little body, the potion killing it instantly. She could've used her powers on it since that would be faster, but the effects of her electricity were unknown, it might explode and she needs the little thing for research. Besides, it was more fun this way. Just as she was about to put her gloves away, she heard that soft familiar voice behind her back.

"I knew i could find you here..." Blue said as she walked through the doorframe, closing the door behind her. "How did you know i was here?" Yellow asked and looked over her shoulder. "You weren't in your office or in the school at all, so i had a feeling..." Blue wrapped her arms around Yellow's waist and buried her face in Yellow's back. The other Diamond placed the gloves on the desk and took a deep breath in, enjoying the touch of her lover. "Do you need my help with something?"

"No." Blue said with a smirk and placed her chin on Yellow's shoulders. "I just wanted to see you."

"Missed me?"

"A lot." Blue kissed Yellow's neck and gave her a soft squeeze. "What are you doing here anyways? It's been awhile since you've done some of you spooky experiments." She tickled the other Diamond's side, hearing the soft giggles as she said that and went to stand next to her.

"Remember what happened a few days ago?" Yellow said as she looked at her lover.

"You mean that bloodbath just outside the forest?" Blue shivered, even after the great war and seeing many creatures and animals die, seeing an animal die a gorey death still send shivers down her spine. "I do, why?"

Yellow looked back at the dead fungus like creature. "I found this thing in a wound of a dear." She tapped her gem, showing the memory she had.
Blue gulped as she saw how the memory showed Yellow opening the wound more and trying to get the weird thing out. She felt the bloody scene play with her stomach and she looked away, closing her eyes. "Okay, i get it." Blue said, trying her best to not get ill.
Yellow looked at Blue confused. "We have fought in a war yet this is what gets you?"

"It's still unpleasant to see it Yellow." Blue tried to compose herself and took a breath in, hearing the other Diamond chuckle. The memory closed and Yellow wrapped her arm around her lover's shoulders, guiding her back to the door.

"I have to finish this, but i'll help you with the preperations later." The Diamond grabbed the other's cold hands in hers and kissed them. Blue smiled and her cheeks turned a darker azure.
"Alright, good luck..."
With that Blue left and closed the heavy door with a creak behind her.

Once Blue was gone, Yellow went back to what she was doing, she stared at the dead creature as she put her gloves back on and grabbed a scalpel out the drawer. The knife's tip carefully touched the creatures stomach, it felt like there was pressure on it like it was a balloon filled with air to it's max. Yellow pressed the tip harder on the stomach and thick red liquid shot out of it, that must be the blood of the deer she got the fungus like thing out of. Disgusted by the smell, Yellow placed the knife back down on the desk and watched the red, clumpy blood flow out. To figure out what's in the blood, Yellow would have to pick the clumps out of the blood, but even for the Diamond herself it was a little too much.

As one Diamond was busy with experiments in one of the basements, the other was in the mainhall, giving instructions to the last year's students who helped her with setting everything up. Three long tables with each a long narrow table cloth that had their own color, representing the Courts of the four Diamonds. Blue checked her clipboard, ticking off what had been done. The gem was deep in thought until she got snapped out of it by Alvera's voice . "Ah Blue, everything is going well isn't it?" The Dragon smiled proudly.
Blue looked up at the taller woman then around the room. "Oh yes, I suppose. Just hope that it will stay like this." She placed the board on a table next to her.

Alvera places her claw on Blues shoulder as a ressuring action. "What's bothering you. I've never seen you so nervous for a school's resumption. You're usually thrilled to organize these type of ceremonies."

Blue sighed and let her arms hang. "I know...but it's the fact the shield has to be down for the whole day. It doesn't feel good especially after what happened these past few days."

"Oh i'm sure it'll be fine." Alvera responded. "I assume you've been going out every night to make the shield stronger? So a day without it's extra layer should be okay."
Blue swallowed at Alvera's words, she hasn't been going out at all. The shields 'extra layer' was basically gone. Blue bit her lip, how the hell was she going to explain this to that dragon that has zero anger management? She held her hands behind her back, not responding at all.

"You have been doing that like i asked you to, right?" Alvera asked skeptical.
Without thinking, Blue blurted out a "yes!" Quickly realizing she was lying. "I have..."

Alvera smiled and clapped her claws together. "Great! Then there's nothing to worry about!"

Blue nodded with an awkward smile and watched Alvera leave. "Fuck!" Blue cursed to herself. "What have i done. Why did i listen to Yellow!?" I have to go out tonight no matter what she will say."

Blue paced around in circles lost in thought about how she was going to make the shield stronger in a few nights. A sudden tap on the shoulder got the Diamond out of thought with a gasp and she looked to her side, seeing a confused student by her sudden shock.

"Uhm, ma'am, there are still some chairs left, what should we do with them?"
The boy asked.

Blue blinked as she tried to refocus on what she was doing before and sighed.
"Just put those in the corner, incase more people come."The student nodded and walked away. Blue grabbed her board of the table and looked at it with a deep sigh. There was still a lot to do for the upcoming days.

The day was slowly passing and the last bell of the day rang. Students walked out of their classrooms with their bags in their hands, chatting and laughing. Some were running out the class and got scolded by Grizzelda.

Yellow Diamond just finished examining the fungus' blood and was writing everything down in a small journal. Turns out the little blood clumps were poisonous cells fused together. The little creature would plant the cells in the animal's flesh it had crawled into and infect their brains, slowly killing them. Yellow closed the journey and placed it in her gem's storage, deciding to head to Blue and help her with the last things for the ceremony like she had promised.

The Diamond left the basement and locked the heavy door, walking up the stairs to the mainhall. The classes were empty as students were already in their dorms or the courtyard, spending their time before dinner. Yellow looked outside, seeing the sun going down and coloring the sky orange. It was a peaceful afternoin that had to be ruined by the upcoming storming night. With a sigh by the thought, Yellow pushed the two wooden doors to the mainhall open, getting revealed to a decorated empty hall with only Blue standing in the middle who was unbuttoning her blazer and wrapping it around her middle. Yellow sneaked up to her and slowly wrapped her arms around Blue's middle, hearing her soft gasp and feeling her tense up in her embrace

"Yellow?" Blue asked and looked up, seeing her lover grin. She sighed and melted in her arms. "Don't sneak up on me like that."
The Diamond leaned into her lover's touch, feeling shivers run down her spine as she closed her eyes.

"I know i'm a little late, but do you still need help with preparing the hall?" Yellow asked and gave Blue a soft squeeze, feeling the soft curves of the woman's body.

"If you don't mind..." Blue looked up in those warm golden eyes, glad that her lover still wanted to help her since there was still a lot to do.

"I don't." The golden gem let go of her lover and moved to stand in front of her. "What needs to be done?" She asked as she held her hand out for Blue who accepted it, pulling her up.

Blue interlocked their fingers and she looked around. "Nothing much. The curtains need to be decorated and..." Blue looked up at the ceiling. "Some candles on the chandelier need to be changed."

Yellow stared at the chandelier aswell. "I can do that." She let go of Blue and removed her tailcoat, letting it fall on the floor and rolled up the sleeves of her blouse. She took a big jump up, making Blue gasp as she grabbed the arm of the chandelier.

"Yellow!" Blue looked up shocked seeing her lover pulling herself up and sitting on one of the chandelier's arms. She shook her head and grabbed Yellow's tailcoat of the floor, wiping it. "you do realize i can fly up and down to fix the candles? It's safer that way..."

"I've done this before and it's more fun this way." Yellow hung upside down. "Can you throw me the candles?"

Blue scoffed and grabbed a box if candles of tge table next to her. "If you're gonna fall, i won't catch you." She said as she bubbled the box incase it falls and breaks the candles. Blue threw the bubble up, watching Yellow catch it and sitting up straight again in the chandelier's arm.

"You don't mean that." Yellow smirked and looked over shoulder at Blue, seeing her roll her eyes. Yellow unbubbled the candles and took the old, melted ones out of the cup, carefully putting the new one in.
Meanwhile Blue walked to one of the windows, looking outside of it. She saw the sun set, coloring the sky a beautiful golden orange. Birds were singing peacefully and flying to their nests, yet this pretty sight was about to be ruined in merely an hour. Blue sighed and decided to ignore the thought. She looked up at the red curtaints, finding them boring hanging like this. With a wave of her hand the curtains got a new pattern, sewn with a glimmery, golden tread. Blue grabbed the curtain and checked the soft, a little darker red, pattern on it. With another, now more frustrated sigh she let go of it. The thought of having to go out tonight haunted her, to be burned and harmed again.

"Something wrong, my love?" A warm voice asked from above her. Blue looked up over her shoulder, seeing Yellow stare down at her from the chandelier with a little concern.
"There's a frown on your pretty face."

Blue sighed. "It's just the shield that worries me." She said as she fully turned. "The happening is in 2 days, i need to go outside tonight the make it stronger! If i don't, everything from the outside can coke in. The shield is already so weak..." Blue held her own hands and looked at the floor, nervous and worried. "But i remember what you told me, that i should rest since my body is still damaged...but i can't."

Yellow jumped of the chandelier and landed on her feet. She looked at Blue and walked up to her, reaching out for her. "My dear..." She begun as she placed a hand on the other's waist and one under her chin. "I rather not see you go outside and hurt yourself for the sake of the school...but i also know that my words can't stop you." Yellow said as her fingers gently went through to soft blue locks. She pulled her love against her, holding her in a warm embrace. "At the end, it's your choice."

Blue sighed at Yellow's words, burying her face in the other's chest as she wanted to run from her duty. "It's in 2 days...i can do it two more nights...this one and next..." Blue closed her eyes, focusing on steady rythm the other's heartbeat.

"Alright then." Yellow responded warmly and gently scratched Blue's scalp. "Then i'll be there when you're done." She then placed a gentle kiss on her head.
Blue looked up in the other's eyes. "Thank you..." Her voice was merely above a whisper and she tilted her head slightly, closing the gap between their lips.
