Summary
Garrick Tavis is in his second year at Basgiath. He and his best friend, Xaden Riorson, have this place figured out. They've survived first year, bonded a dragon, and set up a secret weapons exchange system with gyphon fliers.
But as second year begins, Garrick's past begins to catch up with him thanks to the arrival of Bodhi Durran, Imogen Cardulo, and others. Garrick suddenly has to confront the truth of what happened to him during his foster years. And through it all, he has to confront the reality that he may just have unwanted feelings for a certain blonde hair, green eyed first year from his past. But how will that affect his current relationships, including the one with his sort-of-sort-of-not girlfriend from first year?
This is an exploration of some of the scenes from my Xaden Riorson - Year 2 story from Garrick's POV, along with a few new scenes that give us some complexity into Garrick's character. These character "snapshots" allow me to develop some of the characters in Xaden's story that don't quite fit in with the rest of the story. And of course, we'll start getting a look at Garrick and Imogen's...er...relationship.
