Beetle couldn't be any happier! They were out with their friends for the first time in a few days, happily going shopping and getting some new accessories. They never spent a lot of money on their accessories considering they have their favorite headband and accessories that were heirlooms from her grandmother. As they were walking back home with their friends they started to feel a weird tickling on their neck. Almost as if someone was breathing on them.
They turned around, being greeted by pitch darkness and hundreds of eyes staring back at them.
They began to bolt upwards waking up from the dream turned nightmare, just to be held back by someone on top of them. Their breathing quickened, their tear stained face contorting into one of confusion and distress.
Spider only groaned and looked up at them. He opened one of his eyes, peeking up at them.
"Do you normally thrash around this much in your sleep?" His head tilted to the side slightly, almost like a curious dog.
They let out a quick huff.
"Since when did you care enough to restrain me in my sleep?" They retorted back.
Spider slid his arms up their body like snakes, wrapping them around their face. He didn't even bother with the formality of human looking arms anymore.
"Since when were you so snappy with me buggaboo? Do you not love me anymore?"
The question pierced their mind like a thousand daggers, stabbing every bit and leaving them no escape from these sickening words. Love? When did they ever show love for this creep? Why should they even love their stalker? They pulled against this... things tendrils, trying to free themselves from it's sickeningly tight grasp.
This only caused him to squeeze tighter however.
He got closer to her face forcing her eyes open to look at him despite the tears that they were very poorly trying to hide. He stroked their hair attempting to comfort her.
They gave in, showing this thing the tears that it clearly wants to see and leaning into it's embrace. It started shushing at her. What does it think it is?
"I know you're upset now, but trust me! I'll treat you better than any man ever can! You just have to open up to me more sweetheart...." He started trailing off.
While it was pushing her closer into it's chest, she started to trail back off into a sleep. They didn't want to think about any of this situation. The last time they saw their friends, the last time they were alone, everything.
