(I don't own naruto)

Naruto looked shocked. “What the fuck did you say,” yelled Naruto, can't believe his sensai. “I'm sorry Naruto but there's nothing I could do, how about you talk to your wife about this, and Naruto don't worry it's legal to have two, especially when it's political,” said Kakashi. Naruto sighed and left his office.

Naruto got home and hugged his kids and saw Hanabi. “Where's Hinata, Hanabi Chan,” asked Naruto. “She's in the garden, do you want me to go get her,” said Hanabi. “No, can you take the kids over to the compound for a few days, me and her have to talk about an arrangement,” said Naruto.

“What arrangement,” asked Hanabi. Naruto whispered in Hanabi's ear. Her eyes widened. “Boruto, Himawari, your going to stay with Father and I,” said Hanabi. “Don't tell Hiashi yet, I'll tell him myself,” said Naruto. Hanabi nodded in understanding.

(Uzumaki garden)

He saw her in her gardening gear and blushed. "I hope everything goes well," thought Naruto. “Hinata, can you come with me? We need to have a talk,” said Naruto. Hinata looked up and say her husband's stressed face, meaning it was extremely important.

She put her gardening tools down and they walked to a bench in the shade. “What's wrong darling,” asked Hinata, sweetly. “Kakashi sensei just gave me some news that we desperately need to talk about, and before I start I wish I can decline it,” said Naruto.

Hinata nodded. “You know about the was a Incident in the Hi and Iwa borders a few weeks ago,” asked Naruto. “Yes, I heard there was an assassination attempt on Hokage sama there,” said Hinata. “Right, well it was Iwa nins who did the attempt, and came to find out it was just a person who held the same grudge before the war.

The ninja was executed but Iwa thought they were in deep shit for the attempt so they offered something Kakashi sensei could not refuse, a marriage contract,” explained Naruto. Hinata gasped and had tears in her eyes. “What would this make us, do we,” asked Hinata but was Interrupted by her husband.

“You are Uzumaki Hinata, my wife. I will not divorce you as you are the mother of my children, and the woman I fell in love with. We have to make this work ok,” said Naruto. Hinata sighed in relief. “Naruto I will walk any road you walk, as you are my husband, the father to my children, and the Man I fell in love with,” said Hinata.

“I think we need to talk to Kakashi sensei,” said Naruto. “I'll go take a shower and get dressed,” said Hinata. Naruto nodded.

(Next day Hyuga compound)

Naruto was sitting in his father-in-law’s tea room. “Hiashi Sama, there's something we need to discuss,” said Naruto. “Yes Naruto,” asked Hiashi. “I need you to understand I love your daughter so much,” said Naruto. Hiashi nodded. Naruto then began to explain the situation.

“Interesting, you need to promise me that you treat both equally,” said Hiashi. Naruto looked shocked. “Naruto, a political engagement can't be denied, and you are the only candidate. You also need to understand that you must, yes love my daughter but also need to find that same love with this girl.

It's a bitch but a loveless marriage is an unhappy marriage. They aren't asking for a direct marriage are they,” asked Hiashi. Keep this in mind he's not happy about this development but he understands the situation. Politics are different when it comes to regular life. Ninjas are often asked to do these types of things, although rare, it happens.

This isn't the first time this has happened. Hiashi chuckled remembering a story his dad once told him. “Naruto my boy, you wouldn't be the first in your situation, my dad once told me about the time Hiruzen was forced into marrying a woman. In fact he was already married, he was just starting out as a hokage and this girl from a village, I can't seem to remember the name.

Anyway they met in a boarding town, Hiruzen met a kunoichi without a village symbol though a foreign village was testing him. Joke was on him when the bastard accepted the spar and won. The marriage contract was already signed. See, her village only marries the strong, and Hiruzen won dubbing him the strongest.

He refused as he was already married to Biwako but she just wouldn't take no for an answer. It wasn't until her village said they would declare war on the village if he didn't accept, he was forced to marry her. But he took time to get to know her, and he chose to keep his wives close to each other.

That is how Konohamaru's grandmother became Hiruzen's second wife,” explained Hiashi. “Interesting, I wonder why I haven't met her,” said Naruto. Hiashi gave a sorrowful look. “She was killed in the second great ninja war, she didn't die peacefully. As she was the wife of the leader of the village, I don't want to go into details,” said Hiashi, in a sorrowful tone.

“Oh, shit I never knew the old man had it that rough. Did he get his revenge,” asked Naruto. “I've haven't seen such a bloodbath in my whole career as a ninja. They were massacring everyone in their path,” said Hiashi, remembering the second great ninja war.

“You mean like both the old man and Biwako Basan,” said Naruto. “Lady Biwako wasn't known as a ninja, but she was taught the ninja arts by both lord third and his second wife. She was blind with anger, it filled her drive to avenge her best friend. She was known as the White Tiger of the West after the war. Out of all the shinobi only she got close to your father's kill count. I shivered at the malice in that woman's eyes,” shivered Hiashi.

“What was her name,” asked Naruto. “Sarutobi Toki,” finished Hizashi.

(The next day)

Naruto and Hinata were in full ninja gear, Hinata who forgoed wearing her Hyuga Crest infaver to wear the Uzumaki Crest. Yes, she was born a Hyuga but to support her husband she needed to wear the Crest of the clan she represents. Hinata was wearing a new kunoichi gear.

Her hair was past her ass, and ended at her mid thigh. She wore shorts stopping past her knee. She wear flat kunoichi sandals. (Just look at Tsunade's sandals but minus the high hill.) She wore a standard kunoichi top with a diamond cut out at the belly button, topped off with a jacket similar to her parka she had as a kid. Except for Hyuga Crest on the shoulder, they were replaced with Uzumaki Crest.

Naruto wear the similar get up from the last except the pants. The pants were black with two horizontal orange stripes on each side. Naruto also grew out his hair a bit. (I like Naruto with long hair.) Making him look similar to his father a bit. They were escorting the sixth Hokage to the diplomatic meeting with Onoki the third Tsuchikage.

Kakashi was wearing the standard Hokage robes. He wore the Kage hat and his signature mask. He read his erotic novel and chuckled in a perverted manner. “You now yall never get a girlfriend reading Erosanin's books,” said Naruto. Kakashi got quite, and started to sweat for some reason.

“I was a horny bastard once, Naruto,” said Kakashi. Naruto was confused until it clicked. “Get Sasuke to find your children if they exist,” sighed Naruto. “I only use the one in the village so I'll probably hire Shika,” said Kakashi. Naruto sighed deeper.

As they made it to the meeting place, they saw the Tsuchikage. By him was his son and granddaughter. Kitsuchi was fully dressed in his shinobi gear. He was holding his daughter's hand as a protective father.

Kurotsuchi was dressed in a red battle kimono that ended at her mid thigh, it had black seams. She had fishnet leggings. She wore a red pair of sandals similar to what Hinata was wearing. Her Hitai Ate Around her neck.

What was different about her was her hair. She had grown out her hair, she groomed it to look like she did in the Fourth Great Ninja War. The back had a large braid that went to her mid back. “Uzumaki Sama come close please,” said Onoki. Naruto came close, he stood close to Onoki.

“Kitsuchi wishes to have a spar, he want to test that you're worthy of his daughter's head,” said Onoki. “I accept, you make the rules as this is about your granddaughter,” said Naruto. Onoki nodded. Naruto and Kitsuchi stand in a circle of rocks.

“This is a taijutsu spar, the first to get knocked out or pushed out the ring loses. Killing is not allowed. Do you accept these rules,” asked Onoki. Both men nodded. Onoki raised his hand and chopped his hand down and both men shot towards each other.

They went fist to fist with both of them silently agreeing not to use weapons. Naruto refused to use Kurama's Chakra and even sage mode. Mostly because of the fact it would show he wasn't strong enough on his own. The fight was fears, but none backing down. Naruto was confused why he was fighting so hard.

The fact he is actually trying to win was shocking. He then palmed Kitsuchi's stomach hard, pushing the heavy set man back far. Kitsuchi landed twelve inches away from the ring. Naruto winning by ring out. Kitsuchi smiled and walked towards Naruto.

He puts his hand out. Naruto went to shake his hand. “I know you are already taken but as a father I can only trust a man stronger than me. I know we are giving you a stressful situation but I only trust you. You helped us in the Fourth Great Ninja War, but just now you gained my respect. You better make her happy,” said Kitsuchi.

“If I may ask, can she stay with us so my wife and her bond? I don't want to have two wives that hate each other,” asked Naruto. “Sure, no kid is making before the wedding ya hear,” said Kitsuchi, his grip tightening. “I wasn't thinking of it, I just want a similar relationship between Biwako and Toki Sarutobi,” said Naruto.

Kitsuchi understood, and waved his daughter over. “Kurotsuchi, this is the man you will marry, come over here and meet him,” said kitsuchi. Kurotsuchi was still holding her frustrations. She walked up to her husband to be, and bowed. “I don't think we probably met in the war,” said Kurotsuchi. “Nope I don't think we did,” said Naruto.

(I don't really know how they met in the Manga. I think it was the time Manda 2 flipped Genmu but I'm uncertain. I could be wrong. I know Naruto shippuden they met in the land of water but again I don't think this is canon)

Naruto called his wife over. They shook hands. “I'm Uzumaki Hinata, I'm Naruto's first wife,” said Hinata. “I know, it's nice to meet you Hinata. You're kinder in person,” said Kurotsuchi. Hinata and Kurotsuchi walked away to talk in private.

“I know this situation isn't anything new, but I'm new to this situation. It latterly took the moon falling to earth to realize my feelings for Hinata. But this is different, when I was fighting you just now. I somehow wanted to win with my own strength alone. Why did I think like that,” explained Naruto.

Kitsuchi stood wide eyed. “You mean that was your full strength without any influence. Kid you pushed me further than anyone has ever pushed me before. Your strength is hard to match. I was just trying to win as well, don't get me wrong I'm not angry you didn't use your powers to fight me. I'm relieved that my daughter is in the right hands. Promise me, you'll protect her with your life,” said Kitsuchi.

“I promise on my will on being the next hokage I'll protect her tell my very last breath. I, Uzumaki Naruto, never go back on my word, ya now,” said Naruto.

Chapter Text

Naruto, Hinata, and Kurotsuchi were walking to konoha with the Hokage. More like Naruto giving them space as the girls talk. Kakashi saw Naruto sigh. “What's on your mind Naruto,” asked Kakashi. “We choose not to tell the kids about this, I wonder how to explain this situation without negative reactions,” sighed Naruto.

“Oh, I'm not sure about that. I guess rip off like a band-aid,” said Kakashi. “I don't think that's a great idea, Boruto is a little difficult to change. I don't want him to hate me for something I couldn't control,” said Naruto. “Naruto remember when I had to explain a situation to you. I had to sit you alone and explain that situation in detail,” said Kakashi.

Naruto nodded. “But my kids are different, I don't want my kids to hate this situation. It's hard to explain this situation to anyone, much more for a child,” said Naruto. Kakashi just nodded and went silent. Naruto sighed in annoyance.

(Konoha Uzumaki Residence)

Naruto was left alone with the children. He called his children to the family room. He took a deep breath as his children were comfortable. “Ok, we will have a new resident here, as of today. Do you have any questions,” asked Naruto.

“How long will they be staying,” asked Himawari. “Indefinitely, she'll have to live with us because of a conflict in a foreign village,” said Naruto. “Why is she going to stay here,” asked Boruto, with a scowl. Naruto only sighed. “Look it's not whatever you are thinking but close. You see, she is going to be my second wife.

Now before you ask no nothing about your mother and I will change. I know this will be weird but treat her just like you would treat your mother, but please don't make her feel unwelcome. Neither her nor I wanted this, we both are the victims of this situation. I don't want any drama between us.

Why, because I want this to feel comfortable for all in this situation. That means you two. I'm not going to stop loving your mother. But I need to learn how to love her just as much as your mother. Do you understand,” asked Naruto. Boruto nodded and shrugged. Himawari shook her head.

“Could you have said no to this agreement,” asked Boruto. “Well Yes, but if I said no it would be war against our villages because that's how these situations go. Meaning even if I had a choice in this matter, the risks were pulling me towards this option. Boruto I had a day to think this over and it was your mother who had the final say.

I wanted to have her part in this choice. I was going to make a big change if I'd accept this engagement. We came to the conclusion that the engagement would gain benefits to both our villages. Plus the fact that I was the strongest person in the village I was forced to take the offer. We both agreed to this situation together.

Is that all,” asked Naruto. Everyone shook their heads. “Please just give her a chance, that's all. Just keep in mind to be polite to her. Don't treat her like she's a wedge in our family. We want her to be part of this family. Blood or not. Ok,” explained Naruto. Boruto nodded with Himawari doing the same.

“Just promise you'll be nice to her, okay,” said Naruto. “We promise, and a Uzumaki never breaks a promise,” said the children, with a salute. Naruto hugged both of them. “I'll be holding you both to that, ya know,” said Naruto.

(Next day: Academy office)

Naruto was tired, so very tired. It was like the previous teachers gave the children a pound of sugar and energy drinks today. Naruto somehow thought that the rest of the staff was getting back at him for taking the last two weeks off.

Naruto heard the door slam open, but ignored it as some of the other Academy teachers have one of those days. “Naruto,” yelled a loud banshee. Naruto looked up and had a pinky in his ear. “Sakura, what is it, you don't have to yell,” said Naruto, in a pained tone. Sakura looked at him, she had never seen Naruto so tired.

“I heard about your engagement,” said Sakura, with a bet of venom. “And you think I had something to do with it, yeah no,” said Naruto. He then explained the entire situation to his situation. “So Hinata is ok with this,” asked Sakura. “We talked about it, we weighed our options.

When we accepted the fact that it was to stop another war, I told Hiashi. He gave me advice, the advice I'm currently taking. I'll be taking her on a date every other week. But I want Hinata and Kurotsuchi to bond with each other. Hinata is helping Kurotsuchi with taking care of the kids,” explained Naruto.

“I see you are taking this seriously,” said Sakura. “I have to, I can't explain what I feel. I asked Kurama but he just said figure it out. It's kinda tiring actually, my mind goes slowly and fast all at the same time,” said Naruto. Sakura nodded. “How's Sarada,” asked Naruto. “She is fine, I took her to an optometrist the other day. She got glasses, she looks cute with them,” said Sakura.

Naruto laughed. “The girl that is from a powerful clan with powerful eyes, needs glasses,” chuckled Naruto. “Yeah, yeah, laugh it up. Harem king,” joked Sakura. They both laugh. Sakura saw Naruto sigh and look tired. “You look stressed,” said Sakura. “It's a rough day. All the kids were running a mock like they had a sugar rush,” sighed Naruto.

“That's rough, I thought dealing with parents was the default part,” sighed Sakura. “I think I should head home. I don't want anyone to worry,” said Naruto. “I should head home too, to cook for Sarada,” said Sakura.

(Konoha streets)

*I don't get it, it feels weird,* thought Naruto. “Kit I suggest meditating on it, I can't help you figure this out,” said Kurama. *your right I'll tell Hinata where I'm going so she doesn't get worried,* thought Naruto. He got home and easily found Hinata who was drinking tea with Kurotsuchi.

“Hey, I am going to Jiraiya's grave, I just wanted to let you know where I am going,” said Naruto. “Ok, Naruto, be safe,” said Hinata. Kurotsuchi nodded and watched him go. “I'm a burden ain't I,” said Kurotsuchi. “Not at all, he's confused,” said Hinata. “About what,” asked Kurotsuchi.

“Naruto's parents died protecting him from Kurama's claw, that was also the day he was born into this world. He never knew what love was. He's trying to sort his feelings, he loves me, but he now has feelings for you. He's trying to let you in,” said Hinata. “But he doesn't know me, I don't get it,” said Kurotsuchi.

“I see a lot of him in you. You're similar to him in many ways. You talked about your dream of being the Tsuchikage, it's the same with Naruto's dream of becoming the Hokage,” said Hinata. “I never thought about it, but it makes sense,” said Kurotsuchi. “I believe Naruto could be a great Hokage just like his father,” said Hinata.

“His dad was Hokage,” asked Kurotsuchi. “Namikaze Minato is his father, he was given his mother's last name to protect him from your village as we were dealing with the Third Great Ninja War and Kyuubi Attack at the same time. Mix that with Naruto being an orphan it was necessary,” said Hinata.

“I bet he was spoiled,” said Kurotsuchi but her eyes widened when she saw Hinata's face get solemn. “Quite the opposite, he was scored, due to some information leaking he was neglected and ignored, some store owners wouldn't let him in their stores. Either he was thrown out or over priced,” explained Hinata.

“What changed,” asked Kurotsuchi. “He saved the village from Pain. He gained the villagers respect that he deserved from taking the burden of being the third Jinjuriki of Kurama,” answered Hinata.
