Chapter Text
Scarlett looked at the Shadow High building. It was her first day. She had got accepted a bit later than other students so she was very late to the party but excited nonetheless.
"Came all the way from Texas to be here." She stared at the school in front of her. She wrote in her notebook the inspiration she felt seeing the building and tucked it away in her backpack for later.
She took a deep breathe, lifting her confidence and prepping her for the new environment. "Alright, this is going to be great! No need for nervousness." She entered the school
Scarlett entered Shadow High, an edgy school with walls adorned in black and white lights. She was stunned by its beauty. The floors shun in a white glitter and the sleek purple lockers across the halls stood out. Most students with a supernatural skin tone fit perfectly with the school's creative and out-of-this-world reputation. She entered nervously, adjusting her spikey earrings and paper clip hair clips to have that Shadow High feel.
She had to go into the principal office to find out her classes. She saw a girl with blue eyes and dark purple hair enter the door. Scarlett followed and sat on a chair.
They both sat in the chair awkwardly until addressing one another. "The name is Ainsley. Are you new here too?"
Scarlett nodded. "Yep, I'm Scarlett. Today's my first day here." Ainsley smiled. "I just started going here last week. As an accessory and design focus, ~" Ainsley's vibe exuded a sense of pride in her tone but she still came across as friendly. "How about you? Oh and what grade are you?"
"I'm a freshman. My focus is creative writing. I'm working on a science fiction novel currently!"
Suddenly the principal came in. "Hello Scarlett! And...Ainsley?" She said, confused at Ainsley's sudden appearance. Ainsley had transferred to Shadow High last week and was mostly in order. She wondered what her appearance was for. "I just came to ask for an updated copy of my schedule. Since I added a class the other day."
The principal looked at her desk and handed it over.
Ainsley thanked her and went to the door. "Nice meeting you, Scarlett." She left soon after. Scarlett wondered if that would be her first friend at Shadow High. She had forgotten to ask the girl her grade though. She hoped maybe they would have a class together.
With Ainsley gone, the principal focused her Attention on Scarlett. "Here is your schedule."
Scarlett looked at the paper with all her new classes. She beamed with excitement for her new life at Shadow High.
"At the top right, it says your dorm room as well. If you're ready, the first stop I'd like to take you is to your dorm room to meet your new roommates. I've already informed them of your arrival."
Before Scarlett got to the room, Rosie Redwood and Berrie Skies sat on the couch together. Rosie beamed with excitement and joy as she checked herself in the mirror and did her makeup. She applied her red lipstick, making sure it was perfect, and smiled in satisfaction. "Berrie how is my makeup??" She asked smiling.
Berrie laughed. "Rosie this is like the 3rd time you reapplied it! It's perfect!"
"You think? I want to make a good first impression! I never expected we'd get a new roommate! What do you think she'll be like??"
Berrie stopped typing on her computer and stopped to think. "Hmmm...not sure. But Itd be cool if she was also interested in technology."
Rosie nodded. "Oh! What if she's into nature?? I haven't been on a good hiking trip in ages!"
Rosie stopped to think. She looked at the makeup in front of her. "Oh, and I guess another cosmetology focus would be cool too."
On the other side of the door, the principal and Scarlett had gotten to the dorm room. "Are you ready?" Scarlett nodded. They headed into the dorm room and Scarlett nervously opened the door.
Two girls awaited her. One with Red and Blueish green hair. The girl with the red hair ran up to her excitedly while the other girl sat on the couch, calm with a welcoming smile...
"Welcome!! I'm Rosie Redwood! I'm a cosmetology focus! What's your name and focus??"
"Scarlett!" She said, caught off guard by the immense energy of her new roommate. She smiled. "I'm a creative writing focus. How about you?" She asked looking at Berrie.
"The names Berrie Skies. My focus is computer animation nice to meet you!"
The principal spoke. "These are your new roommates starting today. As you also may know. You 3 share a group with 3 other people from different dorms.
"Let's head to out and meet the rest of your group."
....
In another room, Pinkie James, an on-the-rise youtuber stood next to Oliver Ocean, a calm friendly straightforward guy with passions in music and sports.
Across from them was Lavender Lynn, a passionate and hardworking girl that held a camera up to the two.
"Oliver! That song we collabed on for my new YouTube ending! Perfect!! I got so many comments about it! It’s 100 times more perfect than that free copyright intro I used to use."
Oliver smiled. "Thanks!"
Pinkie grinned. "Oliverr! Make a YouTube channel already! I keep getting asked what your socials are. It’s always disappointing to tell people you don't have any. More people want to see your music."
Oliver scratched his head. "i appreciate the idea, pinkie. But I want to keep my music more lowkey until I perfect it."
Lavender chimed in with her camera. "Whenever you do decide to make an account, i can be your photographer. Your banner could be the two of you celebrating your collaboration! I can take a perfect picture!" She snapped a picture and watched it print out. "See? Wouldn't that make an awesome banner picture?"
Oliver looked and Pinkie smiled, impressed. "In the future sure."
As they talked the door opened.
Rosie walked in and said, "Guys we have a new member of the group."
Scarlett walked up and said Hello. "I'm Scarlett. I do creative writing"
Pinkie smiled and took out her hand for a handshake. " My Name's Pinkie James. I'm a film focus. And a YouTuber on the side. It’s a pleasure to meet you! " Scarlett shook her hand.
Oliver also said hi. "Oliver Ocean. I'm into music."
Lavender Lynn looked curious and excited to meet a new person. "Lavender Lynn! I'm a photography focus! If you ever need any pictures taken at events, for projects, or even just for fun, I'm your girl."
The principal smiled seeing everyone interact so kindly and friendly. "Well now that the introductions, classes, and dorm arrangements are in order. As the rest of you know, It's a new semester, and thus a new project is on the way. It will be to create a presentation using all your talents for the group talent show.
"Don't worry you will have weeks to work on this. But along with your school work, make sure to plan together for this group project as it is both tradition here at Shadow High and mandatory for a good grade. Now then students....see you in the shadows..." She said leaving...
Scarlett looked around at her new teammates. She wondered how the year would turn out with so many interesting personalities. She hoped she could be friends with her group members and find a way to be more creative with her creative writing.
Chapter 2: New creativity
Summary:
Scarlet wonders what to write that will impress her shadow high teacher and classmates in creative writing.
Chapter Text
Scarlett walked into her creative writing class, her heart pounding with anticipation. The room buzzed with excitement as the teacher announced their first assignment.
Teacher: "Alright class, for your first assignment, I want each of you to share a chapter from your writing that encapsulates the essence of your story. Make sure it can stand alone and give us a feel for your world."
Scarlett shifted nervously in her seat as her classmates eagerly discussed their projects.
Classmate 1: "I'm thinking of sharing a chapter from my fantasy novel, where the protagonist discovers her magical powers for the first time."
Classmate 2: "I'm going with a chapter from my mystery thriller, where the detective uncovers a crucial clue that leads to the identity of the killer."
Scarlett bit her lip, feeling the weight of her insecurities. What could she share that would impress her classmates? She didnt want to share the plot of her main novel just yet but she remembered an old writing of hers she barely finished and decided to use that.
Later, in fashion class with Rosie and Berrie, the trio brainstormed ideas for their collaborative project.
Berrie looked at her computer. "Okay, so we need to come up with a design that showcases all our talents. Any ideas?"
Rosie smiled. "How about we incorporate elements of nature? Something organic and visually striking."
Scarlett's eyes lit up at Rosie's suggestion. "What if we design a dress made entirely of flowers? It could represent growth, beauty, and creativity."
Rosie grinned, her energy was enough to light up a room. "I love it! Let's make it happen."
Berrie nodded in agreement, already sketching out ideas on her tablet. "I'll work on a digital mockup of the design. Scarlett, do you have any experience with fabric?"
Scarlett nodded, feeling a surge of confidence. "I've sewn a few things before. I can handle putting the dress together."
As they worked on their project, laughter filled the room. Scarlett was grateful she had already started to get along with her roommates.
Once the flower dress was complete, Scarlett felt some pride wash over her. It was more than just a dress; it was a symbol of their collaboration and her creative talent at work...
As the girl's creation, Scarlett's mind raced with ideas for her sci-fi novel. The character inspired by the flower dress felt like the missing piece she needed to share her story with the class.
She got up in class and shared her story summary. ”It’s about a girl who wields the power of nature to stop the land from rotting away. Each battle she wins a new black petal is added to the dress to show her strength.”
With renewed determination, Scarlett looked forward to the next creative writing class. She was not just the new girl; she was a writer with a story to tell.
Chapter 3: Lavender's dream
Summary:
Pinkie notices her friend Lavender looks exhausted and aloof lately and decides to help her out.
Chapter Text
In the bustling halls of Shadow High, students in edgy fashion pieces roamed the halls. As Lavender Lynn and Pinkie James sat together in the courtyard during lunch, Pinkie noticed how tired and exhausted Lavender looked lately.
Pinkie frowned. “Are you okay lav? Usually you'd be taking 50 pictures of today's lunch but now you look like you're struggling to even open up your eyes.”
Lavender: "Pinkie, there's something I need to tell you..."
Pinkie glanced at her best friend, noticing a hint of hesitation in her eyes.
Pinkie: "What's up, Lav? You can tell me anything."
Lavender took a deep breath, steeling herself to reveal a secret she'd been keeping for too long.
Lavender: "I stood up till 5am last night to do my assignments because I've been struggling with my grades. My grades have totally tanked because I've been working multiple part-time jobs to save up money."
Pinkie's eyes widened in surprise, a pang of guilt washing over her.
Pinkie: "I had no idea, Lav. Why didn't you tell me sooner? We're supposed to be best friends."
Lavender shrugged, her shoulders weighed down by the burden of her responsibilities.
Lavender: "I didn't want to burden you with my problems. It's because I've always dreamed of showcasing my photography talent in Paris one day that I'm doing all this. "
Pinkie frowned as her heart ached for her friend, her mind racing with ideas to help.
Pinkie: "Well, as your best friend, I can't just sit back and do nothing. How about we do a fundraising livestream? I'll use my platform as a YouTuber to raise money so you can fulfill your dream!” Pinkie said her eyes gleaming with excitement at her idsa.
Lavender's eyes widened in disbelief, a mix of gratitude and embarrassment flooding her senses.
Lavender: "Pinkie, you don't have to do that. I appreciate the gesture, but it's too much."
Pinkie shook her head, determination etched on her face. "Nonsense! You deserve this, Lav. And I won't take no for an answer."
Later on, Pinkie shared her plan with Berrie and looked for people to help her.
"Berrie, I need your help with the technical side of things. Can you assist me in setting up the livestream?" Pinkie asked.
Berrie nodded, her fingers already flying across her tablet as she began to formulate a plan. Berrie smiled. "Consider it done, Pinkie. I'll make sure everything runs smoothly."
Everyone in their group of 6, was together for study hall which was more of a free period.
Scarlett watched Pinkie and Acarlet making plans with apprehension. She didn't know Lavender and Pinkie well, and she felt hesitant to intrude on their friendship.
Lavender noticed Scarlett's standing awkwardly, hiding her face with her book, and went up to her
Lavender smiled. "You don't have to be involved if you're not comfortable, Scarlett. I'm already overwhelmed by Pinkie's generosity."
Scarlett nodded, grateful for Lavender's understanding. "Thank you, Lavender. But I want to help. I may not know you well, but I support your dream."
As the two spoke, Scarlett and Lavender found common ground in their shared dreams of creativity and expression.
Scarlett smiled. "You know, Lavender, I feel the same way when I'm searching for inspiration to write. Paris seems like the perfect place to spark creativity."
Lavender smiled, a glimmer of hope shining in her eyes.
Lavender: "Exactly! The landscapes, the culture...it's like stepping into a world of endless possibilities."
With newfound determination, the group brainstormed ideas for the livestream, eventually settling on a sci-fi multiplayer game to stream.
As the stream went live, viewers flooded in, drawn to the heartfelt mission to send Lavender to Paris. The donations poured in, surpassing their wildest expectations.
In the end, Lavender's dream became a reality, thanks to the unwavering support of her friends. As she boarded the plane to Paris with her family, she sent postcards to her friends, filled with gratitude and love.
And as Scarlett watched Lavender's journey unfold, she couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in being part of something truly special.

Rosie feels jealous of her new roommates friendship.
Chapter Text
Chapter 4: Jealousy
Scarlett woke up from her sleep and headed to creative writing class. She turned in her assignment and decided to study for the rest of the day.
She opened her laptop to her writing blog where she had her own web novel there. She had been so busy she had forgotten to update it. She remembered its theme “Mystery”
Its title was “The Mystery of the unsightly beams”
In the title, creepy beams of light would shine in front of someone's house then the next day they would have very bad luck. The main character Janice, finds out they are Alien signals and accidentally gets caught up in an alien conflict!
What she struggled with mainly was illustrating the comic's dystopian appearance. She tried her best to draw but was no means the most talented artist.
Especially in setting design. She was stubborn about being the one to draw it. It'd be easier to ask someone else to do it but she wanted to see what she could create herself.
“Just one picture per chapter isn't so bad, right? Just to set the mood….But what would a dystopian city look like…”
Berrie Skies walked into the dorm. “A dystopian city, huh?” She walked and sat down. “I've been playing this game with really good setting art. I watched it on one of Pinkies' livestreams. We should play it.”
“Yes! That'd be the perfect way to get new inspiration!”
Rosie walked in on the two bonding and felt a bit jealous. Rosie wasn’t very into writing or video games. She felt like she didn't have much to add to the topic and it felt awkward. She silently got ready for cosmetology class instead of asking about the game.
In cosmetology class, she looked a bit silent. The teacher paired her up with Natasha Zima.
“Rosie..? You seem kind of…down. Or like we’d say terneergeslagen!”
Rosie smiled but still looked dejected. Natasha sighed, awkwardly. “Sorry, I’m not the best at uplifting moods.”
Rosie sighed. “Sorry, I know we need to work on our assignment. I just feel…i don’t know jealous of my roommates. They're talking about a lot of technical and fantasy stuff! I just have no way of adding to the conversation, you know?”
Natasha smiled. “Don’t worry about that. And even in games there still has to be elements of things you’re interested in right?’
Rosie looked up like she had a light bulb pop up on top of her head. “That’s it! Elements! I can talk to them about that! I love Nature!”
Rosie suddenly got back on task. “Natasha! Speaking of Nature! How do I make a nature-proof mascara and foundation? I need something that withstand DIRT, WATER, SWEAT! THE SCORCHING SUN! A girl's gotta look good on her hikes.”
Natasha grinned. “Oh my friend, that's simple! I have a nature-proof formula cooking right- A BANG ECHOED THROUGHOUT THE ROOM. The students shrieked for a second before seeing the cause of the explosion.
The formula of Natasha's had exploded, leaving smoke. “NATASHA! How many times do I have to tell you to make your chemistry SAFE??” Natasha frowned. “I’m sorry, ma'am! But look at this color! Even if someone who wore “LOOK BY NATASHA” survived an explosion, their makeup would still be flawless! Right?”
The teacher frowned. “Everyone we need to go to another room now and let this one air out. Natasha see me after class.” Natasha pouted in defeat and whispered. “Did you still want the formula. Most of the time it doesn’t really explode!” Natasha winks
Rosie smiled. “I…think I’m good!”
Rosie got back to her dorm room and told her roommates about the explosion. They laughed, knowing it was pretty minor after all. Rosie got more serious.
“Guys! Earlier I’ll be honest i felt a bit jealous at how into that game you were”
Berrie looked confused “Why? You can play it with us too!” Scarlett nodded. “Or we can all do something else.”
Rosie shook her head “Sorry I didn't say this to make it awkward. I'm not into games but Natasha was telling me I should focus on something we can all enjoy! And i was thinking for our big project what if we did a play?
“With Your writing and your technical effects wouldn't that be perfect for our group? I of course would handle the makeup! Pinkie could film it for YouTube, lavender can handle any photography shots and Oliver could do the soundtrack!”
Berrie smiled. “A lot of ideas all at once, huh? I’d be all in but we do have to ask the other three about it tomorrow.”
Scarlett looked surprised. “You’d want ME? To write it?? I’m honored! But I’ve never written a play before…! This will be challenging! But.. the perfect way to write something mysterious in shadow high! Rosie, you’re a genius!”
Scarlett told the girls the plot of her web novel and they decided to ask the others if they wanted to do it.
Chapter 5: Preparing the Play
Summary:
The Shadow High series 3 squad decides their big project will be a play. but is Scarlet ready to handle the responsibility and the personalities of her new actors?
Chapter Text
Rosie tells the whole group her idea of everyone doing a play as the big group project.
Scarlett’s plot of “The mystery of Unsightly Beams” The plot was: creepy mysterious ufo beams of light would shine in front of someone's house then the next day they would have very bad luck. The main character Janice, finds out they are Alien signals and accidentally gets caught up in an alien conflict!
Pinkie looked excited! A play huh? Honestly, I was going to suggest a movie however everything being live in action sounds awesome too! I’m down! I can have a roll too right?” she said.
“Of course!” Scarlett said. “Though we do have to discuss characters and auditions. Are you guys okay with the plot? If not I could go through and show some of my other novels”
Lavender shook her head. “No need! I think an alien mystery sounds pretty cool! I’d love to get a lot of great shots of the setting design and makeup!”
Oliver was in deep thought “You want me to make a supernatural soundtrack? Hmmm sounds experimental! I can definitely try that!”
Berrie smiled “And I can handle the setting design. I’m thinking I can conjure up some digital art and we can use the projector to have it as the background!”
Scarlett smiled excitedly at their plan for a play.
She decided to discuss the plot.
“Well the main character is Janice. She's headstrong, courageous, and tactical. But also kind and altruistic. Her role will have to be played by someone bold!”
Pinkie smiled. “Well not to toot my own horn but…I have done plays back in middle school and I’d love to play the role!”
“Awesome!” Scarlet smiled and continued to read from her notes
“Next we have the aliens. A powerful duo named after the elements. The fiery alien adorned in red is Cyra, She goes to Earth to try to become a god. She causes misfortune to those who she believes deserve punishment. The second is Marina. Although she is not in it for punishment, she goes along with cyra's misdeeds to research Earth and the ways to take it over. We would need 2 people who work well together to take on the role. Tomorrow we should host an audition-”
“No need! The perfect candidates are standing right in front of you.” A voice said.
The Storm twins appeared. The room's lights started to flash slowly purple as if a runway was lit up for them upon their arrival. The stage lights shun on the two in dazzling glory, As if they were already the main characters of their own drama.
‘A duo of two powerful and undefeatable supernatural sisters? Puh lease there's no better people at Shadow high for a role like that!”
Veronicas bubblegum popped. “For real. It's like they wrote it just for us to star in it.” She snickered.
Scarlet looked confused. “And you two are..?”
Naomi looked offended. “Are you SERIOUS right NOW?” Veronica frowned in disapproval. “Wow..”
Naomi dramatically cleared her breath. “Ahem! YOU better get a good look at us. We are stars from the hit tween drama Tv series Wonder Models obviously. You must not have had cable if you've never seen it.”
“And besides our stardom, we RULE shadow high,” Veronica said smirking in confidence. “Veronica and Naomi Storm. Don’t forget it”
Naomi smiled. “You freshman are looking at two STARS who have CHOSEN to star in your play. Consider yourselves grateful!”
Scarlett looked impressed. “Ah, I’m sorry! But you guys want to be in the play??”
Naomi smirked. “We merely heard it in passing and think it sounds way more interesting than the other plays people have been coming up with.”
Scarlett looked excited and handed the girls some forms. “Our first auditions! I’m so excited. Could you two read some lines?”
Naomi grabbed the script with confidence. “With ease!” she said, smirking with pride.
Naomi in the role of Cyra the alien goddess princess read out the sample lines.
“Mortal Janice! For interrupting my punishment of earths sinners you will be my next victim! Flames will fall upon you. I swear on this planet!” Naomi's character shows fiery anger and passion and a relentless will, hard to shake!
Pinkie read some lines in response. “But How can you as outsiders truly understand the hearts of us humans if you haven't even given us A CHANCE??” She reads it with emotion and courage showing Janice's struggle as she confronts something out of her element!
Veronica in the role of Marina sighed. “We don’t need to stoop down to humans. We’ve seen enough as observers! Earth will become a better place under our control.” Veronica as her character exudes a vibe of cruelness but rationality as well as an intimidating factor.
After the next weeks auditions. The twins had scored the role of alien princesses. With Pinkie being Janice.
Chapter 6: The Day of The Play!
Summary:
With preparations complete, the Series 3 squad is ready for the play! the big night is approaching but will nervousness overcome them?
Chapter Text
Berrie worked on her computer. She had been staying up late for days working on the digital setting art for the play. She digitally painted woods with dark mint green appearances and mysterious lights flowing throughout the forest. The UFO in the sky where Janice meets and confronts the aliens. Scarlett looked at the art “Berrie this is amazing! It’s just like what I imagined in my head as I wrote the mysterious vibe. But with my limited art skills, I was never able to translate it into a comic”
Berrie smiled. “I’m glad you like it! That game we played really inspired me to take my art to the next level! I have you to thank for my improvement!”
Demi Batista had auditioned as Janice's friend “Abbey” A courageous and nerdy girl who helps her with the power of technology to defeat the aliens.
Her audition was flawless. “Ahem here is my audition!”
“Janice! We can use the power of our humanity to show these aliens we will never give earth up! have hope!” Demi smirked happily and proudly. “Well then! How do ya like it? I’ve seen and directed enough spooky movies to perfect my delivery!”
Scarlet and the rest of the Series 3 group clapped. “You've got the part!’ Rosie said.
The day of the play was approaching but the series 3 squad was a bit on edge.
Oliver sat with Pinkie and showed her the soundtrack. “Are you sure it's good enough, Pinkie? Making a YouTube credits song was one thing but a play sound track! How can I make it my best when I’m so out of my element?” He says looking conflicted. “What if the audience doesn't think it matches the play?” he asks.
“Oliver it's fine! I told you it definitely sounds spooky and fitting for the setting! Oliver as a musician you'll have to step into the spotlight eventually.”
Oliver sighed. “You’re right. Maybe I just need to stop overthinking it. And speaking of spotlight, how has rehearsal been going?” Pinkie sighed. “Well, I know all the lines by now. But this does feel more nerve-wracking. I've been in a small play in junior high. Don't tell Scarlett but my role was minor. I never expected it to feel different from the camera. In a movie and a YouTube video, you can edit things. I guess it will be just like a livestream! Only in real life”
Oliver sighed and smiled. “Looks like I'm not the only one who's nervous then.”
In another room, Scarlett sat and read the scripts looking anxious as the play was tomorrow.
Rosie saw her staying up at night on the dorm couch looking nervous. Berrie had already finished her art and went to sleep. “Scarlett! If you stay up too late you’ll sleep through the play.” Rosie said sitting next to her, she could tell Scarlett was anxious. “What's wrong? Tomorrow is going to be amazing! You’ll want to have lots of energy for it!”
Scarlett sighed. “You’re right but…What if people don’t like the play?” She sighed again. “It was always something i considered but didn't want to say out loud. What if my play isn’t Shadow High enough for Shadow High? What if my writing doesn't live up to the spooky and edgy and groundbreaking reputation Shadow High is known for?” Scarlett said, burying her head in her knees.
Rosie frowned. “Of course, it's Shadow High Enough for Shadow High! Shadow High isn't just black and white lights and cool clothes! It's a place where our creativity and our heart shines! You've put your all into this play. Into your creative vision! It's what being a shadow high student is all about!” Rosie smiled and hugged Scarlett. “So cheer up, okay? As a student of Shadow high, you've already impressed me and everyone else who's putting our all into the play! So have faith in not only yourself but us too!” Rosie said smiling.
Scarlett looked up smiling at Rosie and feeling reassured. “You’re right! Thank you so much, Rosie! Honestly, I couldn't do it without you! And everyone else too.” The two smiled. “Let's get to bed now! I think I’ll be able to sleep now!” Scarlett said.
On the day of the play, Eliza Mcfee did the special effects for Naomi and Veronica's alien appearances. Despite being aliens they still resembled humans only more supernatural and definitely more stylish! Naomi was adorned in black and red gems with firey sprayed tips of her hair and makeup done by Rosie and Eliza.
“I’d say this is some of my best work! You two look like you’ve truly stepped out of a film into our world!” Eliza said, proud of her special effects work. Rosie looked at the twins in awe after finishing their face ups. “You two look beautiful!” she said.
Naomi looked at Veronica confidently in the mirror. “We don't look bad! Look at us! Ruling TV, Shadow High, and even earth!” Naomi said. Veronica smirked. “It feels so strange to see you play a role that actually fits your personality!”
Naomi frowned. “Are you saying I’m not really a sweetheart model??” Veronica laughed “pffft hahaha. You’re anything BUT sweet.”
Noami frowned and smirked again. “Your role is fitting too, sidekick. Maybe your character will appear on stage 1 minute after me!” Veronica rolled her eyes at Naomi's joke.
Everyone gathered to watch the play. Berrie stood behind controlling the projector and art. Oliver had control of the speakers and music while Rosie and Scarlett watched te play unfold. She had a wide smile. “You look happy!” Rosie said. Scarlett could hardly contain her excitement!. “I can’t believe I’m seeing my writing come to life! This is the best day ever!” She said. Lavender showed up with her camera. “And I’ll be recording the entire thing! The memory will last forever!”
Behind the curtains stood Pinkie James. She sighed to herself. “I can do this! Its like a live stream in real life! No need to be nervous I've got this!” She walked onto the stage with her had hld up high.
The stag lights glistened like white glitter onto Pinkie. Her character Janice went to investigate the UFO. Intense music plays as Naomi shows up with her fiery hair blowing and moving for effect. Veronica shows up next as smooth as water in a black dress with blue trim and iridescent sleeves adorning it. The perfect contrasting duo!
Cyra (Naomi) Scowls at Janice for stopping her UFO before she could cause a fiery wrath on her newest human target! Marina comes in and uses her smooth agility to fight Janice. Veronica captures the characters calm yet ruthless energy perfectly, seeming even scarier than Naomi.
Demi comes in playing the role of Abby who told Janice she was too scared to confront the aliens with her. She shows up at the last minute to help her friend. “I was scared but…I know IK need to do what's right!”
With the help of her friend and the technology to oppose the alien princess powers, Pinkie shows off her gorgeous makeup showing her bright and courageous persona in a moment of hardship! “Abbey I knew you would come! I’m going to show them that Earth can never be taken from us! Are you with me?” Abbey aka Demi grabs Janice aka Pinkies hand.
And they cause a Lazer powerful enough to destroy the princesses. With Berries' animation playing on the projector, the two princesses fade into particles before saying their final words!
Cyra (Naomi): The ashes will regrow anew one day! I will be back to punish you….!”
Marina (Veronica): Like a parasite lurking in the waters..! When you least expect it, you will fall by our hands!”
Janice and Abbey stand together.., The play ends and the action music fades into the credits sound as the credits play on the projector. All the actors come out and do a bow.
Naomi and Veronica in the center. Naomi says proudly “Autographs will be held in the cafeteria in 5 MINUTES. Be there or BEWARE!” Veronica looks among the crowd. “One at a time”
After the actors leave the stage Scarlet the director, Berrie the stage designer, Oliver the soundtrack specialist, And Rosie the makeup artist come out.
Scarlett thanks them. Lavender goes on stage as well followed by Pinkie!
Lavender beams excitedly “I got the BEST footage!” Pinkie hugs her and Scarlett hugs everyone.
“Thank you everyone!! Without you my story would have never come to life!” Rosie smiled, a bit flustered at the touching moment. Her cheeks perfectly encapsulated her name, beaming red.
“Oh it was nothing..!” Scarlett broke off from the group hug and hugged Rosie.
“Thank you so much Rosie! Your ideas are why we’re all here!”
Everyone hugged and received an amazing grade on their project their big assignment was a hit!
Pinkie recorded a vlog recounting the play as Lavender showed behind-the-scenes pictures for the YouTube audience. “And that was our play make sure to subscribe not only me but my talented roommates! Oliver just launched his music channel be sure to show him some love!”
Oliver smiled. “Thanks for the promo.” Pinkie looked proud. “Its no problem!
Pinkie went up to Scarlett. “My fans ADORE the play!! I was thinking about making MERCH! And ofc we would split the revenue from that if you want.” Pinkie said. “What do you think, Scarlett?” Scarlett smiled. “I have some art concepts from the webcomic I've been fixing up with Berrie that we can use!”
Berrie showed the art. “What do you think of these touch-ups?” Pinkie looked excited. “They'd go so well on a hoodie!” Lavender chimed in. “And I can take the modeling pictures!”
The group all laughed among themselves and enjoyed each other's company at Shadow High.
