Being with Noodle was always an experience for Lani. It was never one she hated, though. It was just another small way to get an insight into her girlfriend's personality and the band's lifestyle, too. Especially after tours. These were their favorite moments after being away from each other for so long. The stories were one of the highlights, hearing about all the odd and off-handed things the band did in their downtime away from home.
The best part, however, was when she got to wake up beside her, be it morning afters, late afternoons, or even at night. She cherished these little things, but even then, they couldn't last forever. Reaching over Noodle, she noticed the time on her phone and quickly rushed out of bed.
She ran over to the closet to find an outfit to wear when she heard a faint rustle from the bed. "Hm, ダーリン, what are you doing?" Noodle asked, a hint of amusement in her voice. She turned to see Noodle sitting up in bed, rubbing her eyes sleepily. She couldn't help but smile at the sight of her girlfriend looking so adorable. "Getting ready," she replied, walking back over to the bed and leaning down to give Noodle a quick kiss. "Why don't you join me?" Noodle grinned and nodded, climbing out of bed to join her.

"Y'know, it's totally crazy how I ended up getting a first date with you. It's even crazier how I managed to get two years," Lani muttered while deep in thought, chewing on the prongs of her fork. Noodle snorted, walking over to the table in the middle of the kitchen. Sitting down in the chair next to her, Noodle said, "Well, I'd say it's a combination of our amazing personalities, your killer smile, and that you just can't get enough of me." Lani chuckled. "Oh, really? So my charm hasn't gotten to you before?" She playfully challenged. Noodle smirked, reaching over to grab a piece of bacon from her plate.
"No, I don't believe it has." Noodle continued their little flirtatious banter, causing Lani to giggle even more. "Well, I have plenty more to give." Kissing her cheek, she snagged the piece of bacon from Noodle's hand, taking the last bite. Noodle gasped dramatically before giving her girlfriend a sickly, sweet smile. Lani knew that it only meant trouble would come after it, yet even she couldn't say that she wasn't intrigued by what was running through her partner's head. "So, what—,"
Grabbing her by the collar, Noodle pulled Lani in for a passionate kiss, cutting her off mid-sentence. Lani's heart raced as she melted into the embrace, feeling the warmth of Noodle's lips against hers. As they pulled away, Noodle whispered, "I don't think it can beat mine though." Lani stuttered, then smiled like a schoolboy talking to his first crush. She turned to face the sunlight seeping in through the small kitchen window to hopefully hide how flustered she was in that moment. "That was not fair," Lani said, speaking into her hand. "すべてが公平になるわけではない." Noodle responded, taking the dirty plate from in front of Lani, walking over to the sink, and washing the dish.
Lani walked over to her, wrapping her arms around her waist, enjoying the comfortable silence settling over them. Then, a shrill ring interrupted the silence. "Who is it now?" Lani asked, placing her hands on her hips, slightly annoyed that their time together was interrupted. Picking up her phone, Noodle looked at the caller ID before showing Lani. "ラッセルだよ." She spoke, answering and bringing the phone to her ear.
Lani sighed, proping herself onto the counter, hoping that the call wasn't the inevitable end to the two's time together. After Noodle finished her call, she turned to Lani with a wistful expression, "Gotta go, apparently something came up, and we have a 'band practice'." She said with air quotes. "It's not like you to just go along with whatever, most likely, Murdoc says." Lani pointed out the oddity, she never really cared for whatever the walking celery stick had to say. "Besides, you guys just got back from a tour!".
Noodle shrugged, a mischievous look and a small smile playing on her lips. "I know, but it's not like I'm going straight away," she replied, taking Lani's hand.

Walking out the front door towards Lani's car, she was, again, intrigued by what Noodle had decided to do before going back. Noodle walked to the other side of the car and looked back at her expectantly, waiting for her to get into the car. Opening the door, Lani got in, and Noodle followed soon after. Smiling over at her, Noodle suggested that they take a stop at a nearby ramen shop on the way there, and other things on the way.
Handing over the keys, Lani started the car and drove off. As they drove to the ramen shop, Noodle shared stories of the things that happened on tour.
Yeah, being with Noodle would always be an experience, but even then, Lani would never be able to deny that she could really hate it. It's one of her favorite experiences to have, and she hopes that there are even more that they could have together.
