Service Unit GR-ZE and her Dangerous Kinks

Summary:

Service Unit GR-ZE or Zee, has had a fascination with magnets for a long time. Not a good idea when you’re a robot filled with delicate components.
Throwing caution out the airlock she asks her ship's robotics technician to introduce a high strength magnet into her brain case to scramble her Memory Core.
Shame she’s ‘forgotten’ to do her backups in a while.

Notes:

Short thing inspired by a Twitter interaction between @/Smutastrophe2 and @/ZansLewds. They will probably never see this XD.

Chapter 1: Memory Cores and Magnets Don't Mix

Chapter Text

Service Unit, Serial Designation: GR-ZE, more commonly referred to as Zee by her operators, tested the restraints keeping her pinned to the reclined chair in the technician’s workshop, happy that they were strong enough to keep her pinned. Arthur Key, junior technician aboard the Starlight Virtue Space Colony was busy unpacking his toolbox onto a nearby trolley.

“You sure you wanna do this?” he asked. “Magnets and robobrains are supposed to be kept separate for a reason.”

Zee felt a shiver run through her main back strut as she was reminded of why she was here. What she was asking for.

“I’m sure,” she said firmly.

“You know the damage could be permanent right?”

“Don’t worry, I’ve got backups,” she reassured casually.

“Alright, I just want to make sure you understand what you’re signing up for.”

“I understand, I’m the one that asked, aren't I?”

Arthur sighed. “I know, it makes me worry about the integrity of your programming.”

Zee laughed. “Who knows, maybe magnet therapy will rid me of all my deviant thoughts.”

“Yeah, via a lobotomy,” Arthur muttered under his breath.

Finished setting up Arthur pulled on a pair of static resistant gloves.

“Do you really need those?” Zee asked, her advanced auditory unit picking up the sound of stretching fabric.

“I’m already planning on fucking up one part of your brain tonight, I’m not risking accidentally zapping another.”

Zee pouted. “Party pooper.”

“Shut up you masochist-bot,” he sighed and reached for his drill. “Alright, I’m gonna remove the back of your outer cranial case now, okay?”

“Yes,” Zee hissed, with an excited little wiggle.

Arthur undid the securing bolts at the top of Zee’s neck, placing them in a tray so he wouldn’t lose them. Setting the drill aside he slid Zee’s back head panel up and off, setting it aside too.

A ping notification flashed before the service bot's eyes. Rear Cranial Case Open. Oh yeah, they were finally doing this, Zee thought excitedly.

Arthur grabbed a pen light and shone it into Zee’s head cavity, taking quick note of the position of the various systems. While there were presets for every bot type, things weren’t always configured strictly to the Standard Operating Procedure. The Core Memory Unit was wrapped in a protective shell, a large bold sign stamped onto the cover. Core Memory Unit Inside! Warning: Keep Away From Magnetic Fields! High Likelihood Of Permanent Unit Damage.

“Huh, so your CMU is in the upper right of your case,” Arthur commented almost to himself.

“I’ve always been a right brained kinda gal,” Zee quipped.

“You won’t be for much longer,” deadpanned Arthur. “You sure you’ve done all your backups?”

“Yup!” replied Zee giddily.

Arthur’s question had automatically brought up Zee’s backup record for her perusal, along with a System Alert in flashing red letters. Alert: Memory Core Backup Is OVERDUE By (60) Days! To Avoid PERMANENT DATA LOSS Please Create New Backup Immediately! Zee’s cooling fans kicked up a notch as she read the alert. It felt like logging onto the net with no firewall installed. Risky, dangerous, exciting.

Arthur reached for a small screwdriver. “Alright, I’m gonna take off the Memory Core’s protective casing. You should get a warning.”

Arthur started to undo the little screws on the protective case’s corners before carefully sliding it off. Another sign flashed up before Zee’s eyes pushing away the backup reminder. Memory Core Unit Protections Removed! AVOID MAGNETIC FIELDS!

Zee giggled. “It’s telling me to avoid magnets~”

“Yeah, I bet it is,” said Arthur, putting the casing aside. “Last chance to back out, kiddo.”

“Fuck me up, boss,” said Zee, her voice box fizzing in her excitement.

“Alright.”

Arthur reached for the small, high strength magnet cube he’d ordered specifically for Zee. Holding it tightly in his fingers he slowly brought it closer to the service bot’s, now completely unprotected, memory core.

A starbust of warnings scattered across Zee’s vision. Warning: Magnetic Field Detected! Alert: Data Corruption In Memory Core Detected! Alert: Corruption Detected In Memory Sector (A3)! Alert: Corruption Detected In Memory Sector (C6)! …In Sector (G4)! …In Sector (B2)! Her limbs stiffened reflexively as her emergency Self Preservation System kicked in, trying to move her limbs in order to get away from the source of the damage. But the chair restraints held firm. Zee pulled up her Data Directory, a massive spreadsheet of where everything was stored in her CMU, in an interface resembling many stacks of cubes. Orange cubes were full, yellow cubes were still writable but filling up, and green cubes were writable and nearly empty. The darker the green, the fresher they were. The Central Power Unit in Zee’s chest crackled as her eyes watched scatterings of orange and yellow cubes briefly flash red as the corruption was detected before bleeding green, getting darker the cleaner they were wiped.

Arthur slowly moved the magnet in a spiral motion over the surface of Zee’s CMU, the trail of corrupted destruction and reset visible on Zee’s display. She could already feel bits of herself going missing. What had she been doing earlier today? Last week on Monday? Last month? Zee wondered if she’d been a fully customized pleasure bot if she’d be getting ‘wet’ right now. The excitement she was experiencing certainly felt close to what she understood of pleasure.

Suddenly fear flooded her system as the memory of asking Arthur to do this to her was erased.

“Sir!” she cried. “My Core Memory is being compromised!”

Arthur had already planned for this. Zee had mentioned that if the memory of her request became corrupted she was likely to panic.

“You must agree not to stop early,” she’d said firmly. “No matter what I say.

He’d initially objected, figuring that would be a good point to stop and mitigate the damage, but Zee was incistant.

“Why?” he'd asked when she wouldn’t quit asking.

“I want to feel the fear,” she’d replied excitedly.

“What’s the point if you won’t remember it?”

“I want to watch the security recording of myself,” she’d explained. “Want to see myself struggle and be forced to endure my own destruction!”

“Your processor really is borked,” Arthur had said. “Fine, on your head be it though."

Zee had hugged him then, eagerly repeating ‘thankyouthankyouthankyou’ over and over.

“What’s happening?” the Zee of the present asked. “What’s causing the corruption?”

Arthur told her about the magnet.

“No, no, no!” Zee cried fearfully. “You’ll erase my Core Data!”

“That’s the idea,” said Arthur casually. There was something about hearing the usually spunky Service Bot terrified and begging for her literal brain that was getting to him. He could feel his pants getting tight.

“Stop, stop!” Zee begged. “My backups are overdue!”

Arthur rolled his eyes. Of course they were, he should have known.

“Inactions have consequences too, kiddo,” he said simply. “Don’t go doing something dangerous without proper protection.” He swept the magnet across her CMU again.

“No!” Zee cried, jerking her head in the restraints in desperation.

Arthur swore as the little magnet slipped out of his fingers at the sudden change in proximity. It snapped onto the service bot’s Memory Core with a sharp tap and Zee’s body went rigid. Like a firework, a ring of corruption bloomed across Zee’s Data Directory, followed immediately by a sea of deep green, until nothing remained but a fresh, virginal, Core, completely clean of even a single datapoint.

Arthur grabbed a pair of insulated pliers and pulled the magnet off the Memory Core. Zee went limp in the chair. Taking a moment Arthur put the protective covers back on before moving around to the front of the chair.

Zee was sitting limp as a ragdoll, the apertures on her pupils fully dilated, mouth slightly open. He waved his hand in front of her face to trigger her system to hide any open tabs or warnings. After a moment Zee’s eyes focused on Arthur.

“What is your name?” he asked.

“I am Public Service Robotics Unit, Designation GR dash ZE.”

Arthur nodded. That information came as part of the OS and wasn’t stored in the Core Memory Unit. “What is your personal designation?”

“No personal designation assigned. Would you like to assign one?”

‘Zee’ was completely gone, nothing remained but a shell containing the basic programming for a standard Public Service bot designed to follow any order out of the box without question.

“Yes,” he said after a moment. “Assign personal designation: ‘Slut.’

“Yessir, I will update my personal designation now. Update completed.”

“What is your name?”

“Slut,” said the Service Bot promptly.

Arthur grinned. When he reinstalled her backups later he’d combine her personal designations to register both names and see how long it took Zee to notice the change and fix it. Who knows, maybe she’d keep it.

He couldn’t stand the throbbing in his pants anymore.

“Open your mouth,” he ordered, reclining the work chair fully back. Slut obeyed immediately.

They hadn’t discussed exactly what should be done with Zee’s memory wiped body, but Arthur was confident she’d get a kick out of this. When she woke up after having her backups restored she’d have a bunch of new memories of her body being violated to experience, on top of the security footage she’d already asked for.

Arthur climbed onto the chair, straddling Slut’s reinforced shoulders and wasted no time feeding his cock into her natural-feel mouth, something Zee’d had installed a few years ago to lose the ‘uncanny valley’ feeling when she talked. He’d been wanting to try this for ages. No reason he couldn’t take some time to enjoy his new toy. Especially because Zee, the dumb bot, hadn’t bothered to tell him where she’d stored her backups.

Oh well, maybe if he gave her enough of these memories to enjoy she’d finally agree to let him install a Pleasure Core Sheath in her pelvic array. Then he could enjoy his little Zee-Slut any time he wanted.
