Work Text:
O, merry maiden of the Millennium Tree,
Songbird of Summer, Queen of all that is wild,
She who ushers in Spring with the light of her smile,
May your song never be silenced, may your joy never cease.
O, gentle goddess of the mountains above,
Winter's white child, Queen of all that is gone,
She who brings Autumn by the sound of her song.
May your kindness never falter, may you never lose your love.
O, dearest daughter of the rising Sun,
Princess of the skies, angel of fire and flame,
She who creates new life from the old ashes of our shame.
May your hope never die, may you watch over us till all is done.
O, humble herald of the silvery Moon,
Child of darkness, Prince of the shining sea,
He who shall be the one to signal the end of all things.
May your courage never fail, may you never meet your doom.
O, four great Gods of the world we call home,
Gracious Queens of the earth, of the seasons and time,
Regal twins of the night and day, of the sea and sky,
May you always be merciful, may your powers ever grow.
