Leonie tensed and looked taken aback, as if Lysithea had kicked her in the stomach instead of asking a simple question. It was such a knee-jerk reaction that Lysithea was sure Leonie would have started choking if she had been drinking water in that moment.
Honestly, Lysithea was freaking out too, but for her own pride she had to pretend this conversation wasn’t making her want to run away.The main war is almost over, but the battle against those who slither in the dark is still looming in the distance and with Lysithea feeling her imminent death approaching she decides she wants to have sex before kicking the bucket.
