Summary
Harley Baker never wanted to be a hero. He wanted to go into the creative industry. Make music, maybe. But after being caught up in a fatal accident, he ends up involved with Vought - specifically a mysterious benefactor high up the food chain, who seems drawn to his powers. Helpless by the whim of those more powerful than he is, Harley soon finds himself at God U, the university for Supes like himself. Except most of them want to be there.
Despite everything, things take a turn for the better as he meets some of his classmates. He ends up the roommate of the disgustingly perfect Luke Riordan, whilst simultaneously finding himself drawn to classmate Cate Dunlap, who shares the same issues he's always faced, thanks to their similar touch-based powers.
As his life at God U develops, the trauma that tore Harley's life apart rears its head. When the rogue Supe who destroyed his life turns up on the news, Harley will stop at nothing to get his revenge, even risking his closest relationships to do so.
