Chapter 1: A Discussion
Chapter Text
Angel and Husk leaned against the balcony, sharing a cigarette. Fat Nuggets was snuggled against Angel’s leg, fast asleep.
“You can actually see the stars,” Angel said, looking up at the sky. “Fuckin’ miracle in this literal hellhole.” He passed the cigarette to Husk, who looked up too.
“Pretty,” he mumbled. “Almost looks like the human realm.” He took a drag of the cigarette, leaning his free arm against the railing.
“Eh,” Angel shrugged. “New York was polluted enough it looked about like this,” he said with a smirk.
“You’re from New York? That makes sense,” Husk said, passing the cig back. Angel took another drag. It was almost done.
“What do you mean by that?” he returned, graciously handing the cigarette back to Husk and letting him finish it. Husk shrugged.
“Your accent, for one. Thickest Brooklyn accent I ever heard. And even besides that, you are such a stereotypical Italian-American, where else would you be from?” Angel gasped, pretending to take offense.
“And let me guess, a gambler like you is from Vegas?” he asked sarcastically. The silence was deafening. “No fuckin’ way!” Angel exclaimed and Husk’s face contorted with frustration.
“Yup, grew up in the gambling capital of the world. Raised in a casino and all.” Angel gave him a look.
“We never had a chance, huh,” he mumbled. It was Husk’s turn to give his boyfriend a look. “All this redemption bullshit got me thinkin’…I don’t know, I was never gonna turn out okay, just bein’ raised in the mob and all that made sure of that. I was headin’ towards damnation from the moment I was born.” A silence fell between them.
“And yet you’re still trying,” Husk said eventually. “And succeeding, at that.” Angel scooped Fat Nuggets into his topmost set of arms.
“I don’t wanna talk about this anymore,” he said. Husk would’ve rolled his eyes, mention how Angel brought up the topic in the first place, but he was just glad Angel had communicated at all. The spider demon began walking back into the hotel, throwing his head over his shoulder. “I’m gonna take this little guy to bed,” he said, using his free hands to pet Nuggets. “You comin’?” He stood still for a moment until Husk got up to follow him. They walked to Angel’s room in silence, Husk watching him tuck in his pet pig like it was his actual baby. He was just going to pretend that wasn’t adorable.
“How long have you had that little guy?” Husk asked, lingering just past the doorway. It felt…inappropriate to take a seat while Angel was still standing. Angel hummed in concentration.
“Ah, hm, a few years now? A decade or so maybe?” he replied, throwing two of his arms up in an ‘I don’t know’ gesture.
“Mm. How’d you end up with him anyway? He’s kinda an unusual pet.” A pained expression crossed over Angel’s face instantly, as he wrapped his arms around himself.
“He’s…he’s from Val,” he admitted quietly. Husk couldn’t keep the shock off his face. Angel chuckled mirthlessly as he looked at his expression.
“How in the fuck,” Husk grumbled, not knowing what else to say. Angel sighed, looking down.
“Yeah, yeah, I know. Believe it or not, uh…we used to date.” Husk inhaled sharply through his teeth.
“That doesn’t… surprise me,” he admitted gruffly, “but it does make me wish I could’ve gotten in a few swipes at him.” Angel hummed, offering a genuine smile.
“Technically, I don’t think we ever officially broke up.” Husk shook his head.
“That relationship ended the second that contract was signed.” He placed a paw on top of one of Angel’s hands, the weight comforting. “You can’t have a consensual relationship in a soul contract.” Angel shifted uncomfortably.
“Did you ever-you were an Overlord, of course you did.” Husk’s mouth formed into a thin line.
“Yeah,” he admitted shamefully. “Yeah, I did.” Angel looked at him with an expression that was too close to fear for his liking.
“Would you do it again?” he asked and wasn’t that a loaded question .
“What, own demons’ souls?” Husk replied. He was stalling and they both knew it. Angel nodded, looking away from his boyfriend.
“I’m not sure,” Husk whispered, shame filling him when Angel pulled away.
“Seriously?” the spider demanded. “Even though you know what it’s like to be owned-“
“Not everyone is like Valentino or Alastor,” Husk interrupted, his tone firm. Angel felt rage boil in his chest, a growl escaping him.
“ So ?” he demanded. “That don’t matter! It matters that it-it’s-“ his anger gives way to something resembling fear, tears welling in his eyes, “…it’s slavery.” He looked away, unable to hold the tears back. “And not the sexy kind.” The joke was hollow, he wasn’t even able to alter his tone. Husk tried to take his hand, only to be batted away. That was fair, he supposed. Angel steeled his nerves, drawing his arms around himself. “What happened to the souls you owned? When you lost your power?”
“I…I had already gambled them away by then,” Husk admits, his voice small. Angel inhales sharply, anger passing over his face.
“Those were people , Husk.” His nails dig into his skin. “Valentino isn’t the only Overlord to treat his ‘property’ like sex toys, ya know.” A disturbingly calm anger fills his tone.
“I didn’t-”
“Didn’t give them to anyone who would? You don’t know that.” Husk shut his mouth. Angel was right. And at the time, he hadn’t even cared. Sure, he wouldn’t gamble his souls to anyone as lecherous as Val, but…he didn’t exactly run background checks. “What happened to them?” Angel demanded.
“I don’t know,” Husk admitted, shame overtaking him.
“ If you owned souls again, would you gamble them again?” Angel’s tone was accusatory. He couldn’t even look at his boyfriend.
“ No ,” Husk replied firmly. “If I still had souls, I’d keep them under my employ. That level of greed and desperation…I’m never going there again.” He let out a deep breath and Angel’s shoulders relaxed slightly.
“What did you do with them? The souls you owned?” Angel was still avoiding eye contact, but the anger seemed to have mostly given way to curiosity.
“They worked in my casino,” Husk said simply.
“And?” Angel prompted.
“And I gambled their souls away?” Husk responded, confusion clear in his voice. Angel shook his head.
“What kinda boss were you? And don’t you dare lie to me.” The spider was clearly just barely holding back his anger. Husk couldn’t blame him.
“Pretty hands-off,” he replied. “The souls I owned worked in my casino and got pay and room and board as long as they did what was expected of them.” Angel wrapped his arms around himself in a subconscious attempt at comforting himself.
“And if they didn’t?” he asked, sounding almost sick. Husk felt his heart sink.
“Depended on how many strikes,” he replied, looking away. “One was a warning, then it was continual pay docks until they learned. And if they didn’t learn, eventually, their souls would be gambled.” His cheeks flushed with shame. “Of course, eventually I gambled everyone away…” Angel gave him an odd look.
“That’s it?” he asked blankly. Husk shrugged, still avoiding eye contact.
“Like I said, not all Overlords are like Valentino or Alastor. I wouldn’t call myself a good boss though.” Angel shifted, giving his boyfriend a contemplative look.
“What if you owned my soul?” he asked, nearly sending Husk backwards.
“What?” the cat demon balked.
“What if you owned me instead of Valentino?” Angel clarified. An involuntary growl came from Husk’s lips at the idea of owning his beloved. “How would you treat me?”
“Exactly like I just said,” Husk replied firmly.
“What, no special treatment for little ol’ me?” Angel’s tone was flirtatious but there was an undercurrent of worry. Of fear . Husk shook his head.
“That wouldn’t be right, baby. If I own your soul…that’s no different from forcing you,” he replied quietly. An odd look passed over Angel’s face.
“Pshh, you couldn’t force me.” The flippancy was so forced it was painful.
“Putting you in a position where you can’t say no?” Husk muttered. “That’s the same as forcing you.” Angel’s shoulders slumped in relief.
“In that case,” he started, looking away, “I’m glad I didn’t know ya when you was an Overlord.”
“Me too,” Husk mumbled.

Chapter Text
A knock sounded at Husk’s door at some ungodly hour of the night.
“Husky,” came Angel’s voice, tinged with fear, “can I come in?”
Husk was up in an instant, throwing his door open. Angel was standing in the hallway, his clothes torn to hell and bloodied scratches covering what was visible of his body.
“ Jesus ,” Husk mumbled unconsciously, offering his arm for Angel to lean on. He obliged, the height difference a bit awkward, but Angel visibly appreciated the support. “Do you want a bath?” Husk asked.
Angel nodded wordlessly and Husk led him into the connected bathroom. He gently set the spider demon down on the stool as he began running a bath, adding some nice-smelling salts Angel had snuck into the room at some point prior. Angel wrapped his arms around himself, a far-off look in his eyes.
“Ang?” Husk asked gently, letting out a small sigh of relief when the other Sinner met his gaze. “Are you–well obviously you’re not okay. Do you wanna talk about it?”
Angel shook his head.
“Okay, that’s fair. Is it okay if I undress you?”
Angel gave a weak nod in response.
“If you need me to get off of you and you can’t talk, feel free to push me,” Husk said seriously, garnering another nod. Angel stiffened as his boyfriend thumbed at his jacket, just barely managing to keep himself calm.
It’s just Husk, it’s just Husk, he isn’t going to do anything , he repeated to himself like a mantra. He hissed when the jacket was pulled off of him, the fabric sticking to his skin and scraping at his wounds despite Husk being as gentle as possible.
“Shit, Angel, I’m sorry,” the cat demon muttered, and that genuine apology felt so good to hear after all the bullshit ‘I’m sorry I just can’t help it’ Angel had heard on set today. The spider waved his hand dismissively, a nonverbal ‘it’s okay.’
“I’m gonna get your boots off now, okay?” Husk asked. He waited for Angel’s nod of approval before slipping the shoes off. Now mostly naked, the spider demon wrapped his arms around himself as if he was cold.
“Can I get your skirt off, Ang?”
It’s just Husk, it’s just Husk, it’s okay . He nodded after a moment and Husk pulled off the garment with so much more care than he’d been shown that day. Angel took a breath as he registered he was in just his panties now. Husk growled as he glanced at Angel’s exposed body, anger clear on his face. The spider looked down, grimacing as he realized the reason: there was blood staining his underwear and thighs. As shame crept up on him, he tried to shuffle his position to hide his…predicament. Husk frowned at him, concern in his eyes.
“I’m not mad at you, baby,” he said gently, ghosting a paw over his boyfriend’s shoulder. He retracted it when Angel flinched away. “I just…you don’t deserve this, and I’m mad that anyone thinks they can treat ya this way.”
Angel shrugged.
“Contract,” he mumbled. There was more to say, but words were hard right now. Husk’s frown deepened and he rubbed his temples.
“No contract excuses this,” he said firmly. “This is-“ he cut himself when Angel shrugged again. It wasn’t the time to have such a serious conversation. “Is it okay if-?” he indicated Angel’s underwear, keeping his hands away unless and until he had permission. The spider nodded, though his gaze was firmly on the floor. “Are you sure?” Husk asked, hesitating when he couldn’t see Angel’s expression.
“Yeah,” the taller mumbled, but his tone was sincere. Husk pulled the panties off carefully, continually glancing up at Angel for a change in expression. Once he was completely naked, the spider offered him a weak smile, tears pricking at his eyes. He was covered in injuries.
“Hey,” Husk said carefully, ghosting a claw over his boyfriend. “Are you–is it okay that I’m here?”
Angel nodded, his expression distant.
“Some of your wounds need attention, sweetheart. I’m gonna take care of ‘em before we getcha in a nice bath, okay?” Husk asked.
“Mkay,” Angel mumbled. His eyes were glazed over and Husk knew he wouldn’t be with him for much longer.
“Hey, stay with me for just a second,” Husk said as he pulled out a first aid kid.
“Mm?” Angel replied.
“Is it okay if I touch you, darlin’? Nothin’-nothin’ bad, just to clean up your wounds and give you a bath. But, I will have to touch you in…private areas to clean you up. Is that okay?” He knew he was rambling a bit, but he wanted to make sure Angel got the message. His spider blinked, taking a moment to process what he said.
“‘Kay,” he whispered after a moment. “Trust ya.”
Husk felt his face warm at the simple words. He set to work cleaning out his spider’s wounds, watching as Angel slipped away from reality. He hated seeing that happen in real time, but he knew better than to try to drag him back. He still felt a prick of guilt from seeing Angel naked while he didn’t know what was going on, but he reminded himself that he was genuinely trying to help. Angel had given him permission, and he was just cleaning and dressing his wounds. That didn’t do much to quell the sobering thought of how used Angel was to guys touching him when was unconscious or otherwise incapacitated. Throughout the entire process, Husk talked to him aimlessly. He knew the spider wasn’t getting any of it, but it felt better than leaving him in silence.
Angel remained out of it throughout the entire process of Husk cleaning and bandaging his wounds and bathing him. His eyes were still glazed over even as Husk pulled comfortable clothes onto him and tucked him into bed. In the morning, Angel would take a minute to process where he was, who he was with, what had happened. Maybe he’d whisper a ‘thank you.’ And then they’d act like it never happened until the next time Angel came home in this state.
Chapter 3
Summary:
Just a short fluff chapter
Chapter Text
It was late at night and Husk had somehow been talked into letting Angel paint his nails. Claws. Whatever he had.
“I’m a pro at this, don’t worry,” Angel said as he opened a bottle of black nail polish. He’d at least left picking the color up to the cat. Husk begrudgingly held out an arm and Angel set to work. “Ya seriously never done your nails before?” the spider asked. Husk shook his head.
“Nah. Why would I?”
Angel used a free hand to boop his boyfriend’s nose.
“Because it’s fun!” he replied. Husk glanced at the spider’s hands. They weren’t covered by gloves for once, and Husk noted that they held the remains of pink nail polish.
“Why do you paint your nails if you’re always hidin’ your hands?” he asked. Angel tapped his nose again, smirking in a playfully condescending way.
“I just said,” he chirped. “It’s fun!” Husk rolled his eyes. “Now give me your other hand,” Angel instructed. “Paw.” Husk chuckled a bit at the correction, giving his boyfriend his other
paw
.
It was a simple night. A rare time where neither of them had been fucked over. And Husk found himself thinking. Maybe he could do some prodding.
“Hey, Ang,” he said.
“Hmm?” Angel hummed in response, his concentration fully on his boyfriend’s claws.
“What’s your real name?”
Angel blinked in confusion, but fortunately didn’t seem offended by the question.
“Anthony,” he mumbled. “Don’t use it in public though,” he added, gesturing with the nail polish brush for emphasis. Fortunately, it was dry.
“Of course,” Husk replied easily. He wasn’t about to just go shouting Angel’s real name down the street. “What about when it’s just us?” he asked, and his spider’s face turned completely pink.
“I’d-I’d like that,” he choked out, avoiding his boyfriend’s gaze. Husk smiled up at him, enjoying his adorable reaction.
“Could I call you Tony?” he asked, causing Angel– Anthony –let out a squeak.
“Yes!” he gasped, almost sounding breathless. He took a deep breath as if to calm himself before holding up one of Husk’s paws for the cat’s inspection. “Whatcha think?” he asked, his face still a bit red. Husk hummed as he checked his claws, surprisingly okay with the situation.
“Not bad, Tony,” he praised, enjoying the way his spider turned several more shades of red.
“Shut up!” Angel yelped, no malice in his voice. Husk just chuckled.
“Could I ask you another question?” he asked.
“Nope!” Angel responded playfully, peeling off his gloves. “Your turn!” he said in a singsong tone. Husk rolled his eyes playfully.
“Let me guess, pink?” he said teasingly. Angel gasped in mock surprise.
“How did you know?” he asked jokingly. Husk chuckled, affection clear even in that small sound.
“You practically exude pink,” he said with a smile. Sure enough, Angel passed him a bottle of sparkly pink nail polish. “I’ve never done this before,” Husk warned as he opened the bottle. “So don’t be surprised if it looks like shit.”
Angel waved a dismissive hand, and it hit Husk just how many he had. And what he had gotten himself into.
“Don’t worry, baby,” Angel said, but worry he did. He concentrated harder than he had in his entire afterlife as he took his boyfriend’s hand and opened the bottle. He paid attention to nothing else, determined to get this right.
“Hey,” Angel said.
“Hm?” Husk grunted.
“What about you? What’s your real name?”
“Oscar,” Husk blurted out. His cheeks tinged with embarrassment as he realized what he said. “So that was your plan too?”
“Mhm,” Angel hummed, smiling. “I like ya name, Oscar.”
Oh that went straight to Husk’s heart. He gasped, jerking instinctively and accidentally spilling nail polish on Angel’s fur. Fortunately, the spider just chuckled as Husk rushed to clean it up.
“Could I ask you another question?” Angel asked, repeating his boyfriend’s words. Husk lightly tapped his nose.
“Nope,” he replied with a smile. His spider giggled at the imitation and the two returned to their activities, enjoying just hanging out.

Chapter Text
Angel walked into the hotel, accompanied by a bull-like demon. They seemed to be having a pleasant conversation, smiling and laughing together.
“Alright Rocky,” Angel said lightly. “This is my stop. See ya Monday!”
“Yeah, see ya, Angel!” the other demon, apparently named Rocky, replied, and the two waved at each other. Smiling, Angel approached the bar, plopping down on a stool. “Hey, baby,” he greeted.
“Hey, kid,” Husk returned. “How was work?”
“Not baaaad,” Angel replied easily. “Val was in a decent mood today, and there was no gangbangs. I did have to work with an annoyin’ fuckin’ coworker, but overall decent day.”
Husk hummed in response.
“Was it that guy?” he asked, nodding towards the door.
“Hm? Nah, I actually like that guy,” Angel replied. “He’s one a my work friends.” There was a nervous edge to his voice.
“Huh. Didn’t know ya had work friends,” Husk commented neutrally. Angel shifted uncomfortably, not looking at his boyfriend.
“Not many, but I got a few,” he replied, his voice tight. “Is that–is that okay?” he asked. Husk tilted his head curiously.
“Of course it’s okay, baby,” he said.
“Are you sure?” Angel asked, his voice barely a whisper. “I-I mean, it’d be understandable if ya didn’t want me hangin’ out with guys who fuck me.” His shoulders tensed.
“Angel, baby, I know what you do for work,” Husk said evenly, reaching a paw out. Angel took it hesitantly. “I’m glad you have coworkers you get along with.”
Angel looked down, not quite believing what he was hearing.
“You really don’t mind me cheating on you all the time?” he whispered, his voice breaking. Husk squeezed his hand gently.
“It’s not cheating,” he said, his voice firm. “You’re a sex worker. You’re doing your job.” It was said casually. Like it was that simple. And maybe it was.
“Can I kiss you?” Angel blurted out.
“Of course, kid.”
Angel pressed a gentle peck kiss against his boyfriend’s lips.
“I love you,” Angel whispered.
“Love you too,” Husk replied. “Hey, baby?”
“Yeah?”
“Would you want to introduce me to your coworkers sometime?” Husk asked. “At least, the ones you hangout with?”
Angel stiffened.
“You don’t have to if-“
“I don’t want you to come to my work,” Angel said abruptly. Husk tilted his head.
“That’s not what I said,” the cat demon said neutrally.
“Oh,” Angel whispered, looking away in embarrassment. “Um, how did you want to go about it then?”
“You could bring them to the hotel?” Husk suggested. “Or we could all go out for drinks?”
Angel’s eyebrows furrowed in consideration.
“Can I ask ya somethin’ first?” he asked.
“Of course, schatz.”
“If I-” he tapped his fingers together. “If I don’t have youse guys meet up, can I still hang out with ‘em?” He shrunk in on himself, visibly nervous. Husk tilted his head.
“Of course, kid,” he said evenly. “You’re a grown ass man, I don’t control who you hang out with,” he added with a casual shrug. He hoped he wasn’t laying it on too thick, but Angel’s reaction had made him a bit worried.
“Right,” the spider mumbled.
“Val?” Husk asked.
“Val.”
Husk passed him a drink and he took it gratefully.
“Thanks, babe. So, guys night?”
“Guys night,” Husk confirmed.
Angel, Husk, and three of Angel’s coworkers sat huddled in a booth at Consent. There was an awkward silence surrounding them.
“So,” the purple goat said, tapping his fingers on the table. “You’re Angie’s boyfriend, yeah?”
“Yeah,” Husk replied. “My name’s Husk.”
The goat nodded.
“I’m Nikki. That’s my boyfriend, Lucky.” He gestured to the winged rabbit, who waved shyly.
“And I’m Rocky,” the red, bull-like demon greeted.
“Why do all of your names all end in ‘key’,” Husk grumbled.
“Guess we’re all… lucky ,” Lucky mumbled, smiling to himself at his own stupid pun. Husk was not impressed by that being the first thing out of his mouth.
“Right,” he mumbled. Angel rolled his eyes.
“What do you want to drink, boys?” he asked. “Round one’s on me!” He stood up as all his friends placed their orders. And then it was Husk, and three porn stars he wasn’t dating.
“Hey,” Nikki said firmly, narrowing his eyes at Husk. “You better be treating Angel well. He doesn’t need his heart broken again.”
“Or bones,” Rocky added grimly.
“Yes, thank you Rocky.” Nikki’s tone was flat.
“I’m not Valentino,” Husk grumbled. Nikki’s mouth formed a thin line.
“Make sure he knows that,” he said firmly. It was at that moment that Angel returned, drinks in all of his hands.
“Hey boys,” he greeted. “You been talkin’ about me?” His tone was teasing, but the accusation was accurate. He distributed the drinks and reclaimed his spot.
“Maybe,” Husk said with a teasing smile. Angel pressed a casual kiss to his lips.
“Are all my boys gettin’ along?” the spider asked with a grin.
“Your boys?” Lucky repeated, blushing. He was not subtle. Angel shrugged.
“My favorite boys to get fucked by,” he teased, wiggling an eyebrow. Angel seemed to regret that immediately, his entire body tensing. “Fuck,” he mumbled. “Husk, I didn’t mean-” Husk shook his head.
“It’s okay, baby,” he said. “I’m not offended by you having sex with other people, I know what your job is. I’m just happy you have coworkers you like, I don’t want your job to suck.”
“My job involves a lot of sucking, actually,” Angel joked weakly. His coworkers all glanced at Husk.
“So uh,” Nikki began, swirling the ice in his glass. “Something going on here?” He wasn’t doing a good job of hiding his suspiciousness. Husk sighed.
“No,” he replied. “But Ange seems to think there is.”
Angel frowned, giving Husk a sidelong glance.
“I haven’t exactly had a good boyfriend since I got down here,” he mumbled. “Forgive me for bein’ a little concerned.” Husk nuzzled against his cheek.
“I don’t blame you for bein’ worried,” he said. “Just know I’m nothin’ like him.”
“I know,” Angel whispered, and Husk kissed one of his hands. His coworkers all smiled at them.
“You guys are cute,” Lucky commented. Despite his blatant crush on Angel, there wasn’t a hint of jealousy in his voice.
“Aw thanks, babe,” Angel said, before stiffening. “Fuck,” he mumbled. “I didn’t mean it like that, Husk, I swear!” He held up all four hands as if in surrender.
“Hey, hey,” Husk muttered. “It’s okay, baby.” He gave one of Angel’s hands a reassuring squeeze. “I know you weren’t flirting. Well, not seriously flirting,” he addended. “I’m not mad.” Angel’s shoulders visibly slumped with relief.
“Thank you,” he whispered but Husk shook his head.
“No need to thank me, kid.”
The rest of the night went well. Angel’s coworkers were easy to get along with. Angel had gotten very drunk though. He was leaning against Husk’s shoulder, barely conscious.
“Well,” Husk said once they were outside the bar. “I should probably take this home.” He gestured towards Angel, an affectionate look on his face.
“Yeah,” Rocky mumbled. “I should probably head home too. It was nice to meet you.” He nodded towards Husk.
“Yeah, you too,” the cat demon replied.
“I’ll head out too,” Lucky said. “Nikki, are you coming with or not yet?”
Nikki shook his head.
“I think I’ll accompany these guys if that’s alright?” He looked around the group, as if asking permission. Husk shrugged.
“Sure, kid,” he replied. Nikki joined his other side, helping him support Angel.
“How much of tonight do you think he’ll remember?” the goat asked and Husk stiffened instinctively.
“I swear to fuck if you lay a single hand on him-“
“No, no, no!” Nikki exclaimed, shaking his head rapidly. “Nothing like that. I just hope he remembers all of us having a great time and doesn’t start worrying about you approving of his lifestyle again.”
Husk chewed at his lip. Lifestyle. That was an interesting word for it.
“I hope so too,” he replied. “Hey, on a similar note. Your boyfriend has a really obvious crush on Angel. Does that bother you at all?”
Nikki shrugged.
“Nah. Why would I be? For one, Angel’s fucking hot and everyone knows that.”
“Including Angel himself,” Husk agreed.
“ Especially Angel himself,” Nikki said with an affectionate chuckle.
“No kidding,” Husk agreed, smiling.
“And besides that,” Nikki continued, “I ain’t the jealous type. I was polyamorous before I was a porn star and becoming one didn’t change that, obviously. Lucky’s always been interested in polyamory but has been too shy to talk to any partners about it; fortunately I did all the talking for him about that.” The corners of his mouth were turned up in an affectionate smile. “I know he’s into Angel, he knows I know he’s into Angel.”
“Does Angel know?” Husk asked neutrally. Nikki shrugged.
“Yeah,” he replied. “We all know it’s not goin’ anywhere though. Angel doesn’t like him like that. They’re friends, yeah, and we all have a good time fucking each other, but romantic feelings? Those are rare from Angel.” He bapped Husk lightly on the nose. “So I hope you realize how lucky you are.”
Oh he definitely did.
“Don’t worry,” the cat demon said. “I ain’t about to drive him away or nothin’.”
“Good,” Nikki said firmly. “If you break his heart-“
“I know,” Husk said with a chuckle. “I got the lecture from Cherri already. Kid’s got a whole army defending him.”
Nikki’s face softened into a smile.
“Yeah he does. Well,” he said as they arrived at the hotel. “I oughta head home.” Husk adjusted Angel so Nikki could let go of him without him falling. “We should hangout again soon though. Night!”
“Night,” Husk called back as the goat walked away. “Alright, kid,” he said as he carried Angel through the doors. “Let’s get you to bed.”

Chapter 5: Drunk
Notes:
Just something small
Chapter Text
Angel swiped eyeliner on, looking at himself in the mirror. If you asked him, he looked downright sexy. Of course, that was almost always the case. He was wearing a short red dress with a halter top that looked like a bondage harness. The o-ring choker ensured it was extra slutty, just how he liked it. He had brushed up his chest to more resemble tits. Garters peeked out from his usual thigh-high boots. He had on two different sets of gloves, one fishnet, the other translucent black. His makeup was done intentionally messy, like he was already fucked out. He practically skipped out of his room.
“Hey Husky!” he called as he entered the lobby. The cat looked up, eyes going wide as he spotted his boyfriend. “Like whatcha see?”
The way Husk’s eyes roved his body answered that question.
“Yes. Definitely. Are you goin’ out with Cherri?”
“Mhm! We’re headin’ to Consent, if ya wanna join.”
“I’m at work, Angel.”
The spider smirked at his boyfriend.
“So? Ya wanna piss off Al, maybe?”
Husk sighed.
“I mean, I want to. But I have been gettin’ too comfortable with that lately. I..shouldn’t risk it.”
Angel pouted.
“Laaaaame. But I get it.” He shrugged with two arms. “I’ll be back tonight. Maybe you’ll wanna help me out of all this?” he lilted, his tone sultry. Husk gave him one last look-over.
“ Definitely .”
It was far past midnight when Angel stumbled back into the hotel, his dress hanging on by a single strap. His makeup was even more ruined than before, and he was holding his shoes loosely in his hands. His walking couldn’t have been less straight if he tried.
“Angel? Are you…okay?”
“Mm?” The spider looked up, his eyes vacant. “Yeah. Y-yeah, I’m great. Never better, whiskers.” He stumbled towards Husk. He practically laid across the bar. “You wanna head upstairs? Help me outta these clothes?” He waggled his eyebrows suggestively. Husk took a closer look at him. His eyes were glassy. He reeked of alcohol.
“Angel?”
“Yeahhhh?” His speech was slurred.
“What do you wanna do?”
Angel attempted to push himself up, but ended up falling on his ass, laughing. Yeah, definitely in no state to consent.
“I wanna–I wanna have sssssexx!” he trilled. Husk came around the other side of the bar, scooping up his boyfriend.
“Yeah?”
“Yeaahhhh!” Angel cheered, squirming in Husk’s arms.
“Alright, I’ll take you to bed then.”
“Yesssss!” Angel weakly pumped a fist. His eyes were already fighting to stay open. Husk carried him up the stairs, maneuvering to open the door without putting him down. “Mmm, this is sexy,” Angel mumbled, groping at Husk’s chest fur.
“Yeah?”
“Yeahhh, you’re so-so strong!”
Husk smiled at him as he set him down on the bed.
“Thanks, kid. Now, let’s get you out of those clothes, hm?”
“Yesss, yes, yes!” Angel chanted, trying and failing to pull himself into a sultry position. Husk delicately pulled off Angel’s shoes, stockings, and dress, leaving him in a thong. Hm, that couldn’t be comfortable. After a moment of deliberation, he took those off too. The accessories came next. Then, he opened the nightstand drawer and pulled out a pack of makeup wipes. Angel made a questioning noise as Husk began to dab at him. “Hm? Husky, what’re ya doin’?”
Husk pressed a soft kiss to his temple.
“Gettin’ you out of these clothes.”
Angel made a confusion, but didn’t protest. Once Husk was done removing his makeup, he backed away from Angel. It seemed to take the spider a few moments to notice, then he held his arms out, pawing at the air.
“Husk–where…” He trailed off.
“Don’t worry, I didn’t go far. I’ll be right back.”
“...ngh, okay.”
Husk dug through Angel’s dress, pulling out some soft cotton panties and an oversized sleepshirt. Perfect. He made his way back to his doe-eyed boyfriend. Angel reached out to try to grab his suspenders, but missed by a wide margin. Husk chuckled affectionately.
“Alright, kid, let’s get you to bed.”
“Wh…”
Husk slid into bed next to him.
“Yeah, changed my mind. Don’t want sex, just want to cuddle. That okay?”
“Mmm? Yeah, yeah, that’s…” Angel trailed off, laying his head on Husk’s shoulder.
“Goodnight.”
“G’nigh’ Whiskas.”
