Chapter Text

-Year 3071

In the far reaches of space there is a planet that's called Copper-9. There are multiple cities and mining outposts for copper. Where worker drones are working and humans overlooking them. But that isn't as important as what's happening in the laboratory near the core of the planet.

A worker drone comes out of his office to look to his job. He's quite tall compared to other workers. He has White eyes, messy white hair that have some black strands and he wears a official JCJenson worker grey coat with grey pants. On his coat it has a name tag that reads.

Davy Reinhardt, level 9 clearance, supervisor.

As he was walking out, a human in a hazmat suit yelled out to him.

???: "Hey D!"
Davy turns to him. Obviously annoyed.

Davy: "What?"
???: "One of the Solver drones is not collaborating with us"
Davy: "Again?"
*Sighs*
Davy: "Which one is it?"
???: "Uhhhh.. the one with purple hair"

(Great that sure narrows it down)

Davy:"is it Nori or Yeva?"
???:"Ah.. yes Nori That's her name"
Davy: "Great"
He says under his breath.

As he starts walking the hallway he hears the drones talking about how there are less humans than before and where they might have gone. He also hears one talking about the trash cans and how it's a menace to society.

After walking down the third hallway on the left, searching for a room that has 002.

He finally finds it and knocks on the door.

*Knock* *Knock*
Nori: "who's there!?"
Davy: "it's me"
Nori: "Oh, is it you D?"
Davy: "...Yes"

The door opens slowly. Behind it stands a drone with purple eyes and hair. She wears a short black dress, and a black choker on her neck with the number 002. After seeing him, she suddenly became energised.

He smells a hint of Jasmine from her.

(I guess no matter if you're a woman or a drone, perfume is always there) He thinks to himself.

He still doesn't understand why the Solver drones are different to him and other worker drones that are in this place.

Nori: "Oh, Why are you here? I didn't do anything wrong, right?"
Davy: "Apparently you are not working with the humans with their experiments"
Nori: "Oh that..."
She fidgets a bit and reluctantly says.
Nori: "I don't really want to go"
*Sigh*

Davy sighs yet again. Feeling a headache about to rise.
Before he can say anything. He hears a Worker drone comes by.

???: "how are you getting on D?
Davy: "As usual"

The drone says while walking towards him. Then it noticed Nori.

???: "Hey Nori, how's your day going?"
Nori: "Fine I guess. What about you Khan?"

Davy looked at Khan, the unreliable.
Khan is a Worker Drone with white eyes and a fake black mustache. His outfit consists of a grey jacket, black boots, and a blue construction helmet with red safety goggles.

Khan: "Absolutely fantastic! I got to fix the main doors!"

(Of course you're happy about that) They both thought.

Davy: "Whatever makes you happy"
Rolling his eyes. His reminder went off, so he says to Nori.
Davy: "I have to go now"
Nori: "What for?"
Davy: "Overseeing the research of 048"
Khan: "Yeva? That odd Russian drone?"

Davy walks away from them as they started talking to each other.

(Great i have to go watch another drone suffer)
As he walks back to the main hallway, he notices a worker drone stuck in a trash can. He decides to ignore this act of stupidity.

After some time, he finally arrives at the experimentation room. He uses his card on the scanner and opens the door revealing the familiar one way glass room which is looking into the 'fun area'.

There is already multiple people and drones in this room carrying out their tasks. A man walks up to him as he was taking a seat in the middle of the room.

???: "Hey D, You finally arrived I thought that you wouldn't be coming"
In a cold tone Davy said.
Davy: "I thought about it, but I still came. Anyway what do you want?"
???: "How rude of you but it doesn't matter"
???: "the test subject is coming in 10 minutes."

He turns away and goes to the computer near the glass window. With the other humans.

The 10 minutes went by quickly.
Davy who was playing snake on his visor, saw the experimention room door open. A worker drone leads in another drone, who has colour, which is unusual for worker drones.

This drone has short, purple hair in bangs and neon-red eyes. She wore white gloves and a black dress with a white collar bearing her ID number 048. Her name is Yeva.

Davy feels bad for her as she comes up to the table with straps and gets on it. This has happened multiple times with other Solver drones in which he saw most of them.

(Because I am the only qualified supervisor, somehow in this entire facility)

He does as always and just ignores it and continues playing snake trying to beat his high score. Hoping for it to be over sooner.

But before Davy could focus, He saw Yeva looking up towards the one way mirror. It's almost like she can see through it.

(How odd, She is staring directly into my eyes.)
He shrugs it off.

He finally beat his own high score and conveniently as the same time it was over. He stood up and about to go out of the door before the same man as before asked.

???: "How was it?"
Davy: "Horrible"
???: "I am not taking about that but about the results"
Davy: "It was satisfactory"
???: "That's fantastic news. we are one step closer to solving the Solver. Btw did I mention my name is Thomas?"
Davy: "Who cares and don't care"
Thomas: "How nice of you"

Davy imagine him rolling his eyes through the hazmat helmet. He had enough of the guy and walked out.

Now He has free time. He decides to go back to his office.

When he made it to the main hallway he remembers that he abruptly left Nori behind. So he went to her room to find her.

On the way there he found Khan happily hopping around. Davy wonders why that is. He decides to intercept him to find out.

Davy: "What made you so happy?"
Khan: "AHH"
He jumped because he was surprised by him sneaking up on him.

Khan: "Don't do that!"
Davy: "Can't help it"
Khan looks at him like his nemesis... an empty door frame.

Davy: "Anyway, why were you so happy. Did you fix the main doors again?"
Khan: "No... Should I say it... Oh well... Lets say I am dating Nori"

Davy takes a pause and looks at him.
(Is that allowed? I mean we don't know much about the Absolute Solver even after researching it for years before JCJenson took over, but it wouldn't spread right?)

Davy: "Suddenly, I feel bad for Nori to have a Door lover like you"
Khan: "what is that supposed to mean?"
Davy shrugs and continues to walk. Khan looks confused at his departing back.

As Davy arrives at the door of her room. Before he could even knock, the door opens revealing Nori. She seems unsurprised by his presence.

Davy: "How is it going?"
Nori: "Great!"
Davy: "Oh really?"
Nori: "Yes! Do you want to know?"
Davy: "is it because Khan asked you out?"
Nori: "How did you Kno- Wait did he tell you?"
She fidgets.
Davy: "It was kinda obvious after he was jumping around like an over excited child"
Nori: "I should have told him to keep quiet"
Davy: "No matter. Besides that are you going to listen to orders?"
Nori: "yes..."
She said in a sad tone.
Davy: "Good to hear"
He walks off without caring for the poor drone.

After finishing the remaining work he had. He returns back to his office.

In his office is only a table with a computer and paperwork on top, office chair and a bed. His office also doubles as the bedroom.

He sighs as he layed in bed and begins to think.
(Another boring day, done)

He did everything that needed doing today except overlooking experimentation on Nori. Where they will be using a special 'machine' on her.

(It doesn't even matter if I watch or not. It's not like the experiment is not like the world would end if I'm not there..... Right?)

He reaches out to get the charging cable and plug it in his neck.

As he was preparing to go to sleep mode, he saw something or someone at the door. He quickly turned his head to the door. He could only catch a glimpse of purple and red before it was gone.

Davy: "that was weird" he mumbles.
But as quickly he ignores it. Only thinking it was a glitch and went to sleep.

-Year 3072

In the far reaches of humanity, there is a planet that's frozen over. It is called Copper-9. After the sudden planet's core collapse, it became inhabitable. Only disabled worker drones and ruins remain.

-No POV

A drone dug himself out of the snowy abyss.
When Davy woke up, he realized that something is different. He wasn't in his office. He also wasn't on his bed. He was buried under a thick layer of snow.

He looked around and was surprised by the surroundings. He is now in a frozen wasteland, with the sun high up in the sky. It was very windy that It constantly blows his hair around, which kinda annoys him.

Davy: "what in the robo-hell is going on?"
Said by an understandably confused drone.

- First person

As I got up on my feet, I realized that I didn't have a single clue what I am supposed to do. Report back to the company? Impossible, due to the nearby drone network being down.

I inspected my surroundings closer and myself. Good to see my clothes are fine, though, albeit a bit messy.

Honestly, I have a strong sense of déjà vu. No idea why, though. I haven't been in this environment and situation before as far as I can remember.
So what now? Go search for someone?

- No POV

Davy is now confused on what to do, and he has no idea where he is and neither how he got here.

(I guess there is only one way to find out)

He looks around in an attempt to find a landmark of some sort. He finds multiple buildings on his right and what looks like the remains of a forest on his left. Besides that, there are no more notable locations of interest.

He decides to go to the ruins of the city to find someone who can tell him what's going on. But he thinks that there is a high likelihood of no-one being there. Since the buildings are literally crumbling apart.

(It has been a while since I was outside)

*Panting*

Davy: "Who knew that walking in leg high snow would slow you down"

Davy has finally started walking on the snow covered streets. Which is conveniently a lot thinner. Only a foot high.

After walking awhile, he noticed he was correct in his assumption, since he hasn't seen anyone.

Though the skeletons and deactivated drones that litter the streets with a dusting of snow helps that theory.

He has wasted a lot of time from the moment he had woken up and due to his movement his battery is now half full now.

(Now where will there be an intact and powered charger be at in this city. I'm certain that I'm not solar-powered nor having a nuclear reactor in me. Though it will be neat if I had one.)

Now with more urgency, he started going through the buildings for a charger.

(At worst, I can make something out of destroyed machinery and drones to charge myself. They're dead anyway... probably)

Looking at my battery that is only going lower
34%.

Damn. I didn't even find a single functional charger. The rest is either broken or got its circuits busted.

I guess it's time to go with plan b.
"Sorry fellow drones. It was simply the survival of the fittest, as the humans would say."

First I needed a spot to disassemble them and to have some sort of cover against the elements, especially the wind. After all, you don't want your parts going flying with the wind.

I happened to know a perfect building for me. It was a bit damaged, sure. But it has an intact roof, walls and floor, and it was relatively near the center of the city. It's only 3 stories tall.

It probably was an office building, with all the tables and office chairs in cubicles. Which I am going to repurpose soon enough.

(Hmm...)
I also need something to disassemble them with, like a screwdriver or something. Maybe an axe as well. I hope I can find a hardware store or even a general store. It shouldn't be hard to find.

I found something even better than I thought of. A mall with everything I possibly need except a worker drone charger... How?

Regardless, I picked up a bag and stuffed it full of goodies, I will need later. A hatchet, screwdriver, hammer, wires, some spare electrics and other knickknacks. I got some batteries as well to eat later as well as antifreeze, because obviously it's cold as hell, like -45C°.

I brought it back to my new home and started dragging drones inside the building and disassembling them for their parts. Taking a few wires, memory chips as well as batteries that may have leftover charge I could use later if there is now power in the city.

The already messy room can only get messier.
After getting all the parts I needed. I started work on my charger with plenty of time bought by the triple A batteries.

(Shouldn't I be feeling something for destroying my fellow drones? Isn't it wrong? And yet I don't feel anything)

The concerning thought disappears as fast as it came. After all, survival comes first...

(Why do I think that?)

As the sunset starts as I finished my personal charger. Now the real question is there is power still available in the power grid.

So I plugged it in the nearest socket like one would insert a fork into and apparently there is still power going through the power grid, but no chargers, how strange. But I won't complain about it.

I have to clean this place up soon. Only after charging up and think of plans to do next. I hope that the memory cards in the drones will yield some answers.

I picked a random chair. Sat on it and started recharging myself.

Wondering what happened to this place because it definitely wasn't war nor anything like that. It just feels like the world just went in a sudden ice age.

But the drones won't get disabled by that. So that means there was an EMP or something that went off at the same time.

(Would explain the busted chargers)

-Year 3000

In a space station around Earth. There is a conference room there is a human commander commanding 7 drones in front of him, 4 female and 3 male. These 7 drones are created by the competent Jenson company and they are called the pioneers.

They are waiting to start their missions in space. As they were created to search through the galaxy to find habitable worlds and resource planets.

The pioneers are like the precursor version of the worker drone but taller and with some taste of personality for each one. For media reasons.

Their mission is crucial for the advancement of humanity as they started to run out of resources in the solar system.

The new pioneers are sentient, resourceful and the best problem solvers with the aid of an unknown program that was found in a nearby star system.

They are sentient because they will be by themselves to create outposts on valued worlds, and they can only do it themselves with the aid of anything at their disposal or whatever they can make themselves.

At this point in time, there are only prototypes of worker drones because they were stuck on the problem of AI. Humans needed them to obey orders no matter what to make sure that no rebellions happen. As well as having enough intelligence to complete their multitude of jobs.

???: "DO ALL OF YOU UNDERSTAND YOUR MISSION?"
6 drones + me: "YES SIR!"
We saluted.

???: "ALL OF YOU WILL BE SETTING OFF IN HALF A DAY. SO BE PREPARED FOR YOUR JOURNEY ACROSS THE GALAXY"
6 drones + me: "YES SIR"
???: "GOOD, YOU ARE ALL DISMISSED. GO PREPARE YOURSELVES"
He said while pointing at the door.

I was the last one out of the door.
I felt strange for some reason. This place is giving me a strong sense of melancholy, even the other pioneers gives me the same feeling. But it is no time to think about it. After all, I have to prepare for my departure for the stars.

For the future.

I gazed at my ship when I entered the hangar bay.

(Isn't she a beauty of a ship)

I might be a bit biased.

It's my very own ship that I will live in for the next 50 years for my mission. It looks kinda like the old space shuttle in the 2000s, but it has 3 thrusters and has a yellow body with gray highlights.

The longer I stare at my ship, the sadder I get.

(Why I'm getting sad. I don't care about leaving them all behind, nor I care about the other pioneers I got along with.... So why am I crying?)

I was broken free from my thoughts by the man from the conference room. I wiped my non-existent tears.

???: "Are you ready, pioneer Davy?"
Me: "Yes sir"
I salute.

???: "Good, get on your ship and get ready to launch In 5 minutes"
Me: "Yes sir"

I went into the ship and after going through the corridor and reached the cockpit. I sat on the comfortable captain seat. Then I looked over the control panel and switches the engines on.
It was ready to go.

"Get ready to launch in 10, 9, 8..."

Hearing from the radio about the count-down. The holding bay doors open. Revealing the deeps of the universe.

"3, 2, 1... 0"
???: "Lift off now, brave pioneer. Your success will be known in the future"

And I obeyed the order and went forwards towards the emptiness of space. Holding nothing but excitement and... indifference.

Chapter Text

-No POV

Davy woke up suddenly, still sitting in his chair.
He had a strange dream. It was weird to him because it felt familiar, like he had been there.

(It isn't possible, right? Sure, I don't remember anything before I was relocated to the laboratory, but it's impossible for me to be 72 years old)

He grumbles a bit before giving up and shelves the thought for later time.

Now he has to plan what to do next in this frozen city.

Should he continue to explore or settle down? He guessed that since all life or at least what he on the street and buildings are dead or deactivated. He should make him self a home.

(Oddly familiar. Getting stranded in the middle of nowhere and only can survive by scavenging the nearby resources. huh)

He had slept on the second floor of the building, since the first floor was basically an open concept because some of the windows are gone.

On the second floor there are three rooms. The largest room is a office space for the poor bastards to work at. The second room is a janitor's closet used to be filled with of course cleaning supplies and the third room is what he imagined as the boss's private office.

He had cleared the second floor of everything that he didn't need. Now in this empty office floor there are only half as many tables computers and other electronics. He plans to make this into his workshop. Of course, he needs a lot more effort to make it into a worthy workshop. But he figured it be a start.

He also had cleaned the other rooms. He plans to use the boss's room as his bedroom and the closet to store supplies.

(This place is shaping up quite well)

He thinks, very pleased about himself.
Now that he had built a home to come back to. He will scavenge for more supplies and spare machinery for his workshop, and perhaps finally getting around to finding out what is happening around him.

(But first a supply run)

He slings a bag over his shoulder and went out to explore more. A bright star awaits him, hanging from above.

After coming back with tons of junk. He walked through the door and, forgetting about the snow he was dragging around as he went upstairs. He put the bag in the closet to sort later.
When he finished with that, he went to his lackluster of a workshop.

(One day this place is going to be something to be proud of)

Anyway, he starts preparing the things he's going to need. A working computer that was in the office and a modified card reader to start looking into the memory chips he has at hand.

When he puts the first one in and not so short time later, the computer sent an error message at it being completely corrupted.

(I guess I'm going to go through all of them. I hope that at least one is gonna work)

(That took a lot of time to process all of them. Going to have to get a better computer soon)

(I can't even use myself because of the safeguards on the memory chips)

He started with 17 cards and ended with one intact and two semi corrupted.

The intact one had a nameless drone whose job was to transport copper ore by hand.

(A pitiful one indeed, they couldn't even bother giving him a cart)

It was working in this city on Copper-9 and on a fateful day its sensors suddenly gone wild and shortly after it received a powerful shockwave and at the same time an EMP. Knocking it out. Its last command was...

[INITIATING SHUTDOWN PROTOCOL DUE TO DESTABILISED SYSTEMS]

[APPROX REACTIVATION: 2 YEARS]

(Well, then I feel bad for this one. It could have survived if I hadn't disassembled it, but whatever, it doesn't matter anymore)

(This drone actually tells me a lot. It tells me it's still Copper-9 and confirms that only a year has passed)

As he was processing this information, an important meeting was taking place.

In a luxurious office.

A strange, stagnant, feminine voice rang out.
???: "Hello CEO"

CEO:" W-what do you want?"

He said In a trembling voice.

He nearly jumped out of the chair, his sitting on. Obviously terrified by the unknown voice.

???: "You know what I want"
CEO: "Do I?"
???: "The rumors are true, then. You are an Idiot"

The CEO couldn't process the fact of this being just called an idiot. But most importantly, who was spreading these rumors? He knows he has done some questionable doings, but that was different.

???: "Since your intelligence is below room temp, I shall explain it to you"

A hand connected to the darkness comes out the vents on, grabs his neck.

*HUCK*
He weakly tries to get the hand off his neck with no luck.

???: "I want to return everything to the fabric, and you will aid with that"
CEO now absolutely terrified of the being said weakly while still getting choked.

CEO: "W-what ar-e y-ou?"
???: "I am a loyal servant to the Fabric. But if you desire a name... then it's Cyn"

The semi corrupted cards only provide confirmation about information that the intact one gave him. Now, what is he supposed to do now? Does he save the drones, or does he look further on how this even happened?

(Perhaps the company will return soon. But what will they do? The fact is that the JCJenson are not the brightest when dealing with emergencies. I hope that they won't just destroy us for being runaway AI or anything)

It's already dark when he looked outside. He's going to go to sleep because he wants it to be daylight when he scavenges, as well as it be a bit warmer.

(I swear I will go insane because of isolation)

He went to his bedroom. Still without a bed. So he sat on a chair to plugs himself in. Soon enough, he falls asleep.

-Year 3020
-First person

It's been a while. I have recorded a ton of planets and their parent stars, and only a couple of them were of any value. The isolation is no longer an issue to me. It's somehow… calming, being by myself. I don't feel pressured or even bothered by the mission. It's just... fine.

The stars twinkle as I looked out of the ship cockpit.

(These stars have been here way longer than humanity and me. And yet they feel welcoming)

*Beep* *Beep*

I turn my head to see the source of the sound. It was the planetary scanner. It had found something worth of interest. I'm looking forward to landing on it and seeing what it holds in store for me. Though there is a high likelihood of it being a dead world.

This seemingly endless journey across the galaxy has made me see a lot of things. My way of thinking has changed from the start of this. I used to only think of the company and how to better it for the best of humanity. But now I see more, I feel more. I am no longer stuck against my own programming.

(Does this make me a rogue AI for just breaking free of my programming, or is it more than that?)

I touched my visor.

As the ship approaches the planet. I gaze towards it in marvel at its green and blue beauty. It looks similar to Earth.

*Rumble*

While I was spacing out in my thoughts. I heard something... Something I always expected to happen at least once.

An asteroid had hit my ship.

I tried to see the amount of damage it had done, but it was too late. The power went out, and I knew, there was no way out.

The ship is getting dragged by the planet's gravitational field. I don't hold much hope about surviving a crash from outer space.

(Is this how I will go out? A fireball falling from space to the ground of an unknown and unexplored world?)

That was the last thought before I decisively activated my emergency shutdown on my systems. In order to increase the chance of survival if it was even possible to survive. I could have gone to the escape pods... But it's to late now.

The last thing I heard is the ship rumbling from the atmosphere.

-Year 3073
-First person

I woke up from my bed as usual. I started my daily diagnostics to make sure of my health. When that was done I moved towards the workshop. Before stopping midway at a window to think. Looking outside to see the snow filled city.

(Tonight's dream was different from the norm, usually it was the same dream or something random. But it started similar to when I was suddenly awakened to this arctic wasteland)

After the thoughts I continued walking.

When I arrived at the workshop, it was very noticeable of the plenty of upgrades I have made to the workshop. For example my homemade super computer in the corner of the room for decoding memory cards and other stuff.

Unfortunately I didn't have much luck with the memory chips.

My workshop also has a fully stocked tool shelf. I bet Khan would be drooling all over this.

*Chuckles*

There is also a radio on a table next to the super computer.

It feels amazing to have all of this at my disposal. I feel like I can do anything with these tools at hand.

Besides the cool machines and tools. I have been busy searching for possible survivors on all radio frequencies and any trails they might have left. But as for now. I haven't found a single one.

(They should have already woken up by now. Perhaps the time for them to reactivate is a bit random. Or maybe it's the memory card that was a fluke)

(The isolation of being alone isn't as bad as I thought. It's kinda nice having no one to annoy you or interrupt you on your work. Especially after being in that annoying facility)

Still, it is better off for them to come back online.
I sat down.

I got off my computer while still sitting on the chair, blankly staring at the white walls.
I haven't made any progress on what caused the ice age or the EMP.

It's so strange. It's obvious it had effected the entire planet and yet there are no clues. I considered finding the laboratory that I was in. But I have no idea where it could be. And even if I were to find it, it would probably be completely sealed.
That also a concern I have. Why am I on the surface when my last memory was in my office sleeping next to the core basically.

This whole thing is strange from beginning to end.

(The troubles of being the only competent one around)

I had plenty of time to think about it, but it doesn't really help when you have no clues to put a theory on.

(No point of thinking about it now. There will be time later to find the puzzle pieces and put them together)

I break out of my concentration due to a sharp wind chill blowing my already messy hair around and my black leather jacket with plenty of pockets.

I was already outside without even thinking about it, I didn't even know when I stood up.
Now staring at the now familiar neighboring star through the asteroid belt that surrounds the planet.

(At least the view at night is good)

*Inhale*

*Exhale*

I gaze over my surroundings again. The same old crumbling buildings. Snow everywhere in fact it looks like it's going to snow soon from looking at the clouds forming overhead.

(I sure hope it isn't another blizzard. I hate shoveling snow)

Seeing that I have limited time, I decided to go back inside the reinforced building I call home.

-Year ????
-No POV

A worker drone is walking through the snow.
She doesn't know how she survived the core collapse from that... Thing. That took Nori's body and caused the core to implode. She struggled to get out of the facility.

???: "What was it thinking"

She looks and notices something over the horizon. It was a city with multiple skyscrapers surrounded by hills.

???: "That will do for now"

She seemed upset at the moment. She probably had realized that it's going to be a long walk. She also realized that everyone she once knew was probably dead. It's a good thing she didn't know a lot of them nor did she care anyway.

(I hope it won't find me)

-First person

As I'm laying in bed lazily. I think about everything I know right now. The facility I got transferred to. The experiments. The sudden awakening in the frozen wastes. The clues of what happened and the hopefully soon reactivation of drones. My dreams as well.

(Not a lot happened when I actually think about it. Still, what caused that EMP and the ice age to happen. Some sort of experiment gone wrong? Perhaps the core imploded?)

(No, that's not possible. First I'd be long gone. Second I don't think it's possible to accidentally cause a core to collapse.... Who Am I kidding. JCJenson is famous for their accidents. Their nickname in private is the liability of humanity after all. Completely inferior compared to the original Jenson)

I really hope that the core didn't actually collapse. Otherwise, there be a literal black hole under my feet.

As I thought of that I started to get out of bed. I already got enough charge as it is. I still have a day to do.

-No POV

When he reached his workshop and he sees his project on the table.

It was some arms, legs and some other parts. He was using them to make him self an exoskeleton.
One may ask why not just replace his own limbs for better ones.

(It will be more convenient)

As he turned the portrait around to see the back. He saw a list of names.

On a strange alien world lays a crashed spaceship. Still fresh from 'gracefully' landing on the ground.

Inside the ship lays a drone. Its legs are gone and its visor shattered in a burning spaceship. Anyone from earth would think this is the end of this drone. But they would be wrong.

The drone body shuddered. Something was coming out of it And if you looked at its broken visor. You would see a yellow hexagon with 3 arrows going out and code.

I wake up with a pounding headache, unaware of what's happening. I tried to stand up on the rubble and succeed. Looking at my surroundings I see what remains of my beloved ship.

Feeling a bit sad about it, but that isn't the issue at hand. I went out of the destroyed cockpit window and observed the new environment.

(Now where am I?)

I see trees and greenery all around me. There is air and slight wind that's blowing my hair as well as the flames on my head. I mean it's on fire, but besides that this world looks oddly like Earth.
I walked a few steps away from the crash site in case it explodes.

Now that I'm still alive and now stranded in an unknown world. I feel pretty good despite all that happened.

With a plan in my head I head back in the ship, still on fire, trying to get the tools I need. Well if they're intact.

I was the first one to get out of line and go out the door.

(First going to my bed and sleep)

Before I could do that in was interrupted by Drew
We are considered twins. He is a bit taller than me, but I won't admit to it. He Also has golden hair. The only other difference from him and me is the hat he wears. It was a pilot hat.

Drew: "Hey where are you going to?"
Dave: "To bed"
As I tried to pass him not caring about the words he about to say.

Drew: "Hey! Wait up!"
He follows behind me still trying have a conversation with me.

In the line of drones, there was one shorter than the rest. She stood second to the right.
She had long golden hair. Short. She wears the same uniform they all wear. A white coat with the Jenson branding. And the same blue pants they all wear.

Out of the rest, she seems the most energetic and full of life.

As we went out of the door, he pointed at. I was excited. Finally, we can go on our mission to visit the far away stars! I get to have my own ship!

*Giggling*

I giggled all the way to my room. After all, it was a great day. I was still giggling to myself while I entered my bedroom.

I hope I get to be the first one out before my brothers and sisters can. But I doubt that, as Davy would most likely be first. After all, he was the most competent out of us, and he is basically the unofficial leader of us. Even our commander knows that.

I'm slightly upset about it, but at least I get to be second.

In a far away location from Davy. Something interesting is going on.

A few worker drones have been reactivated and started to think for themselves. They already have a home in an abandoned bunker.

They are doing quite well for themselves. After the humans are gone. They had fixed most of the bunker the year they were conscious.

On the outside of the bunker in the abandoned city. Slow drifts of snow coming down of the cloudy sky.

Stands a group of worker drones. They seem to be surrounding a female drone. If Davy saw her, he would have seen the black choker with 002 and won't even question it. After all, he survived. Why not her and who knows else survived?

But Davy will be extremely surprised by the fact they can have babies. "How" is probably what he will say.

-Khan POV

???: "Hey Khan!"
Khan: "AHHHHH"
I jumped and hit my head against something. Thank robo jesus for hard hats.

Khan: "DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!"
He was rolling around the ground laughing. I'm embarrassed.

???: "Hahaha ha, you should have seen your face! Haha"
Khan: "I swear, I will get you!"
???: "Haha... I will say my message before you knock me out. Nori is waiting for you in the soon-to-be classroom."
Khan: "Thanks for the message, but seriously, don't do that again"

He walks off, leaving me alone. I'm Still angry at him as I glare at his back.

But before I leave to see what she wants from me. I want to at least look at the antenna. To send signals all over the planet trying to gather all remaining worker drones.

(After all, it's good to have more manpower to build my massive and majestic door... Well already got one, but it would be nice having more)

In the middle of the street of the crumbling city. A strange drone who was wearing a black duffle bag, a pair of gloves, a black leather jacket and some black pants and if one looks closer, they would see something off under the clothes.
He was pulling parts out of a car and throwing them out onto the ground. He's looking for something specific.

And he found it.

(Ah, finally a working spark plug. I can go back home to finish that)

He stood after finding the part he was looking for. Planning to return home.

He looks up to see how much daytime he has left, it was a clear and sunny day. There wasn't even much wind at the moment, which is very rare in this new world.

He noted that he has at least 3 hours of daylight. He needs at least an hour to go back home.
So he decided to scavenge a little more before calling the day over.

Davy arrived back at his home with a good haul. He went to his floor and dumped all the parts he won't need at the moment from his bag in the closet. The closet is already overflowing with parts from countless things.

When he was done with that, he brought the spark plug with him to the workshop. To actually see if it's in good condition, and it was in perfect condition.

(Good, finally getting the last part)

He got going, taking the tools and stuffing the bag with what his going to need. He went downstairs and walked around back. He sees the snowmobile unfinished and nods to himself. Obviously pleased.

He had found it in a Museum. After all, Copper-9 was never a cold world.

(I was never a mechanic, but sometimes you have to learn on the job)

He puts on some music and started to work. He gets over and pops the hood open, revealing an engine.

(I really wished I would get an electric one, but due to the EMP. They were all unrepairable, and it would take too much effort to repair with no knowledge of how it actually works)

Some time later.

Unknown to Davy. A beep sounded out in the workshop. It was coming from the radio. It has at last got a signal.

Beeping continues, and a voice comes out.

???: "Hello, hello"
???: "For all who are listening. My name is khan, and I'm sending this message from outpost 3."
Khan: "For all that wishes to come, we are at (xxxxxxxx:xxxxxxxx) coordinates"

Khan: "We have a fully functional bunker and blast doors"
Khan: "Why blast doors, you might say? That's because of my lovely and not paranoid wife! Though I didn't mind building it-"

*Abrupt end of transmission*

Luckily for Davy. He had considered the possibility of him not being there to listen and made it record all received signals.

One can see a huge cloud of snow in the distance of the city. When the snow cloud came closer. Something was in front of it. It looked like a Worker riding a snowmobile.

Davy was having a lot of fun testing the snowmobile on the snow. He decides to return and to save fuel.

(Thank god that the technology of fuel has been massively improved since the 2000s)

He returns to the city and went through the streets and eventually returns home. He parks the vehicle in the back and started going to his workshop.
When he reached his workshop. He heard a faint beeping. He soon realized that it was the radio that had finally picked up a signal.

(It only took 3 years to get a response)

He shakes his head. Drops his bag and went to listen to the recording.

A minute later. Davy was surprised.

(How the hell did Khan survive. I mean, he is the last one I'd ever think to survive, and what does he mean his wife? It's not like he's going to have children, right?)

He shuddered in horror.

(Before that horrible thought. Did he say outpost 3? Dues that mean there is more out there or is it his bad naming sense.)

He looks at the coordinates that were given and looks at a globe of Copper-9. He got it while scavenging.

He saw that they were quite literally on the other side of the planet from where he is.

(No wonder it took forever for a signal)

It would take years to travel on foot. Not to mention the problem of the weather, terrain or even the fuel I'm going to need for my snowmobile.

Now he has a choice in his hands. Does he go and join them, or does he stay where he is and just wait?

(Its boring here. I mean, I could go ahead with the spaceship plan and return to Earth, but as far as I know. I ain't no rocket scientist. I'd rather take the safer option than take a 50/50 chance of exploding mid flight)

With his plans set, he goes to prepare for the long trip ahead.

With everything on snowmobile. Davy stood beside it. He's now wearing a some ski goggles on his head. He looks at the building that he stayed in for the entire 3 years.

(My first home now only to be left behind.)

But he has to go for a new chapter in life. However long that would take.

In the distance is a slightly lively city. There are worker drones going around and doing their tasks. Unaware of a great danger that is approaching.

(For the love of god, this must be better worth the entire 11 years I have been travelling for!)

As Davy rode up a hill, getting only closer to his final destination. When he reaches the top and looks over, he sees a city. It's not in the same state as the other dead cities. This one has some life in it.

He sees multiple workers doing their jobs. He had almost forgotten that it was their original purpose and not being spare parts.

(Now what?)

He is now double guessing himself. Will he have to do some boring work like them? Will they take his freedom?

Now his CPU stuck now with what to do.

Unfortunately for him, he gets spotted by a worker drone. He was quite easy to see due to him on a hill and still riding his snowmobile.

The worker drone asked the guy beside him.

???: "Hey Joe do you see that?"
While pointing to the hill top.

Joe: "I swear John if this is another prank"
John: "No, it's actually something different"

Joe sighs and turns to see what he is pointing at with no expectations. He actually saw something.

Joe: "Huh that is sure something. I'm sure that wasn't there before"

As they were talking, Another drone walks up.

???: "What are you guys doing! Are you slacking off right now!"
This drone is obviously disappointed in both of the drones.

John: "No sir!"
Joe: "We are looking at something that appeared out of thin air, Khan"
Khan looks at them suspiciously, not trusting the slackers.

Khan: "Then where is this 'mystery' you speak of?"
Joe: "On the hill top"
He says and pointed the same place again.

Davy was, on the other hand, still thinking hard on what to do.

Until a voice called out to him. A familiar drone appears in his vision.

Khan: "Who are you, stranger?"
He walks up cautiously up to Davy. Still not knowing it him.

Khan: "I say again. Who are you?"

*Sigh*
Davy sighs. He gets off the snowmobile and takes off the ski Googles. He spoke with indifference.

Davy: "It's me, Khan. Have you already forgotten or did you install a backdoor on yourself?"
Khan stands there shocked. Not believing his eyes.

Khan: "Davy is that really you?"
Davy: "Have you gone blind building doors?"
Khan: "It is you!"
Khan approaches and attempts to hug him. Davy dodged the hug easily.

Khan: "Where have you been?"
Davy: "Apparently in an arctic wasteland and at the same time on the other side of the world"
Khan: "So.... You had fun, right?"
Davy: "The journey here took over a decade"
Khan laughs awkwardly.

Khan: "That doesn't matter anymore. Come, let's give you a tour of our city"

He started to walk down the hill. Davy consider it and decided to join them. He went back to his vehicle and followed behind Khan.

After the tour of the city. Davy still driving.
Khan: "Um… you know, it's a bit awkward for me to lead around a guy on a snowmobile."
Davy: "Do you have anywhere for me to park?"
Khan: "There are tons of Abandoned car parks. But I'm guessing you don't want that. Let's go to the headquarters also known as outpost 3"
Davy: "I see you still have your terrible naming sense"

Davy dismounts the snowmobile and goes to the bunker, which lays behind blast doors with Khan.

Khan: "Here is my pride and joy! Its fully hydraulic reinforced stee-"
Davy: "Shut up and open the door"
Khan got rudely interrupted by Davy.

Khan: "Fine, fine, but I will tell you about my darling doors later"

Davy rolls his eyes as the door opens. Behind the door was someone Davy didn't expect to be here. Nori in her outfit stood still after seeing Davy. Davy noticed that she was carrying something he had not seen before.

Nori: "D?"
He nods.

Nori: "H-how did you survive?"

Nori seems to be a bit shaky after saying that. Davy has no clue why she's asking that, as she and Khan survived.

Davy: "What? Is it a surprise to you that I survived. What about you? How did you get here?"
Nori completely ignores him as she stared.

Nori: "You aren't supposed to be here"
Davy: "Are you now a prophet or something?"
Nori still in total disbelief and mumbling to herself.

Khan: "Don't mind her. She is a bit... Unstable"
Khan nudged Davy to get going. Davy, still wondering what she was holding in her arms.

Khan and Davy went around the bunker, seeing a most of it. There are classrooms, bedrooms, offices and some other rooms.

They ended up In Khan's office to complete all the paperwork for Davy to do.

Sitting on a chair, Davy Groans.

Davy: "Do I have to?"
Khan smiles a bit.

Khan: "Yes absolutely"
Davy: "God, I hate paperwork"
Khan: "Don't sweat it."

After completing the paperwork for him to join. He hands it to Khan and looks at him. He also looks at Davy.

Davy: "What job will I get?"
Khan: "Whatever suits you"
Davy: "I thought that you will assign me to some boring job"

Khan: "It would be funny, but you are very valuable to just do something that another worker can do"
Davy: "That sounds like a lot of praise coming from you"

Khan: "You are not a standard issue worker drone alright, even you must know that"
Khan: "You are literally chosen as the sole supervisor of a secret project that they didn't even want humans to oversee"
Khan: "They couldn't find anyone more suitable than you"

Davy: "Why are you peep talking like I'm depressed. I'm fine, thank you"

Sighs Khan.

Khan: "Do you know what caused the ice age?"
Davy: "I only have theories on what happened, but please fill me in"
Khan takes a deep breath and said in a serious tone.

Khan: "The core collapse on itself due to the experiments in the facility"
Davy takes a minute to take that in.

(Of course, it was the last thing I'd every thing of. But how? And more importantly how are we alive)

Seeing the doubt that Davy has. He waited since, even he didn't even know what happened. He only knows this from his wife. Which might be an unreliable source.

Davy: "That was an unexpected bombshell that you dropped on me"
Khan: "Only one way to learn"
Davy shakes his head and stood up. Preparing to leave the office.

Khan: "before you go"
Khan hands a key labeled 021.
Khan: "This will be the key to your room"
Davy: "Thanks"
Davy started to leave, but turns having a burning question that needs to be answered.

Davy: "What was Nori carrying? Khan"
Khan looks somewhat surprised hearing the question, but smiles.

Khan: "That's my daughter Uzi, Uzi Doorman. My little untrained neutral network. She's only a year old"

If worker drones had the old and outdated Windows error, then Davy would definitely have it on his visor.

Davy: "Yes, Khan, What else would I be talking about?"

Davy is now going down the hallway to his room. He is not very eager, restarting from scratch.

She turns slowly to Davy, and he gets a bit creeped out.

Yeva starts speaking Russian, but thankfully for him, it's automatically translated.

Yeva: "Hello Davy"
Davy: "Hi?"
Yeva: "I was wondering when you will show up"
Yeva: "I knew that someone like you can't be killed easily."
Davy: "Thanks?"
Yeva: "022. Come to my room later. So we can talk in private"
She turns after saying her piece and walks off.

Davy decides to ignore it for now and enters his room.

When he looked inside, he noticed that it was dust everywhere. This place hasn't been cleaned for years.

After cleaning and organizing the room. Did he actually look at it.

There is a single bed, table with chairs, and an end table with a lamp on top and besides that is an alarm clock.

(It's not much, but it's honest work)

He lays in bed in relief. He no longer has to travel literally half of the world. It's nice to have an actual bed and don't have to be worried about the weather.

An incident happened on Earth in a manor owed by the JCJenson company. It is where the CEO lives.

Something happened during the ball. Tessa, the CEOs daughter, is crying on the floor as she sees her favorite worker drones getting taken away.

N, V and J are taken for a project that the CEO has made. It was to repurpose them and send them with the others to Copper-9. Just to teach his daughter a lesson.

Davy: "How's, the progress of the outpost and how many are here?"
Khan: "There are at least 10,000 Workers combined in the colony. Only around 300 are here in the bunker"
Khan: "And the other question is a bit difficult to answer"

Davy: "Is there something interfering progress?"
Khan: "No, No. Not that... It's just... We don't know what to do. We already repaired the bunker, which is enough for everyone"
Davy: "Then build more houses to get more workers here"

She bows as he turns around to face her.

Davy: "I don't mind it much. Now, why are you here?"
He hears a giggle from her arms. She looks down to play with her.

Davy did not want to say anything as she was happy by her expression. Then she suddenly gets cheerful and looks at him.

Nori: "You should get a child as well! I want a friend for my Uzi"
Davy looks at her with doubt.

Davy: "I'm too old for that"
Nori: "Who are you kidding? You look like in your twenties like me and Khan"
Davy considered responding to that, but decided to let her be happy. But He still doesn't want a kid.

Davy: "Khan already has wrinkles"

Davy felt a strong threat coming from her words.

After escaping an overexcited mother. Davy went around to see what he could do.

He's walking down the hallway and decides to enter one of the classrooms.

Inside the classroom, he saw drones in a circle. He guessed it was a meeting for the teachers as they surround a drone with a hard hat, orange eyes and a sweater of some sort.

The drone in question noticed him and called him over.

???: "Hey, you. You're finally awake"
???: "You were trying to cross the base, right?"
Davy: "Nope. I have no idea what you are saying"
???: "Then, who are you?"
He looked at Davy without a single emotion.
Davy: "The name is Davy, or if you prefer D"
???: "Hello D. My name is Thomas"
Davy looks over Thomas's shoulder to see the others.

Davy: "What kind of meeting you guys are having?"
Thomas: "We are trying to figure out what to teach the students when they grow up"
Davy suddenly had a genius idea.
Davy: "All of you are looking for ideas, right? How about I make some of the questions"
Thomas looks at him, confused by what he is saying.

Thomas: "What qualifications do you have?"
Davy: "Enough for Khan to consider me of being the colony leader"
Thomas shrugs. He didn't seem to care enough for what he is planning.

Thomas: "Fair enough. What you got?"
Davy gives an ominous smile. Smiling more than in his entire life. If he has to say, why did he do this. He would respond.

(It was because of Nori annoying me for not making my own family)

On a unique planet there is a mad man, well drone, busy colonising the natives. For his 'mining outpost' to grow further.

(I can't believe it's been a year since I crashed into this world)

I thought walking around in my shelter.

Davy: "It's crazy to even think that I'm still fine. Well I guess AS helped a bit"

Davy: "Hows the progress of the research of nuclear power?"

(Great, time to expand the factory further)

I looked at the middle of the edge of my visor to see a map.

(Don't know why they didn't give us this feature. It's awesome to have)

Davy: "Any ideas where to expand, AS"
In stead of saying anything it draws a plan on the map.

Davy: "I would have died and suffered in this world without you"
I smile after saying.

*Sighs*
Well it's no time to be lazy. I got some bitters to evict. I hope I can run them over as easy as before.

In a classroom full of students. Is a worker drone laying face down on the table. She has short dark purple hair and neon purple eyes. She wears a black zip-up sweater with an eggplant purple top, a black beanie, a black choker adorned with a purple gem around her neck, dark purple stockings with light purple stripes, and black boots. And she is 15 years old.

Thomas: "Uzi, no sleeping in class"
He said without a single care if she heard or not. The other students giggle a bit for Uzi to be caught again.

She looks up and says her infamous line.
Uzi: "BITE ME!"

And lays her head against the table like nothing happened. Amusing some of the students.

???: "Ewww. I can't believe that she still here"
Thomas: "No talking in class unless told, Lizzy"

The worker drone called Lizzy is a popular student amongst others. She has a pale blonde ponytail and neon pink eyes. She wears a helmet with a yellow bow, and she wears something like a cheerleader uniform.

There is also Doll sitting next to her which is her best friend.

Lizzy: "Why should you care necrotic teacher? And that freak deserves it"

Thomas ignores it as usual and continues with how to solve a captcha.

They seem to be stuck on how to pass not a robot check box.

When the totally interesting lesson was over. The students leave. And since it was the last one for today, they started going home. Before Lizzy throws one more remark.

Lizzy: "I didn't't think that weirdo like you can go to school"
Uzi walks faster, fuming.

When Uzi finally arrives to her home, 020. She opens and closed it behind her. Looking inside, there is her mom and dad, Nori Doorman and Khan doorman.

They seem to engage in a heated conversation. Uzi was curious, walked up to them without them noticing.

Khan: "Do you have to annoy him?"
Nori: "Of course! How else would he get a wife and find more in his life than his silly projects!"
Khan: "He's not doing anything bad, is he, though?"
Nori: "He still has no interest in anyone and didn't make a child. For not giving my Uzi a friend, now she has no friends. I promised to make his life hell!"

Khan: "What about Yeva? Isn't she still alone?"
Nori: "She has a child already. No idea who's the father, but at least she has a kid. Unlike Davy"
Khan: "Well... D has important work to do and is to busy to have relationships"
Nori: "I thought you were on my side on this?"
Khan: "Well, you see... I may have made a promise to keep you off his back"
He turns his eyes away from her. As Nori about tell on his betrayal, he suddenly spoke.

Khan: "Hey dear... How was school?"
Uzi: "Terrible, thanks for asking"
She walks away to her bedroom, jumping onto her bed. Laying there thinking.

Still interested in Their argument. After all, it doesn't happen often, and usually it's about Khans love for doors. But today was different.

She knew about Davy, but didn't get much chance of actually meeting him. She heard that he was a special worker drone. Apparently a real engineer, who fixes a lot of the outpost issues.

They treat him like some god or miracle worker. She doesn't really believe in the rumors. She thinks that he's just like his dad. Old and cranky. Probably obsessed with doors as well.

She scuffed thinking about it.

Before she goes to sleep. She checks the school timetable for tomorrow. When she saw it, she was shocked. Tomorrow was a personal lesson. The teacher of that lesson is Davy.

(Oh, how the ball rolls)

Davy is now going somewhere else than his workshop. Because today is a special day for students.

The students including Uzi are waiting in class for the bell to ring. Waiting expectedly.

When the door opens and comes in the tallest drone they have ever seen as well their teacher. They noted that he was wearing black combat pants, a black Leather jacket with lots of pockets and a gray shirt. He also has messy white with black strands. Expressionless like their teacher.
They understand that he didn't dress up for them. Nor they care if he did. Except for the female students. They were looking at him like hungry wolves at a rabbit.

He looks like he's in his twenties. Which makes him more of a target.

Lizzy whispers to her best friend.
Lizzy: "He's sooo hot~. Is he single?"
Class: "Hello teacher!"
Thomas: "I hope you all know what day it is"
He keeps talking without waiting for a response. And moves up to the center of the class.

Thomas: "This is D. Well... More exactly, Davy Reinhardt. A very important individual. So say hi"
Class: "Hi Davy!"
The students are clearly enthusiastic about him. Especially the girls.

(I expected this to happen) Thought Davy.

He nods.

Davy: "Hello class"
Davy: "I have heard a lot from this class, especially from one of your mothers"
The classroom suddenly went silent.

Before a kid in the back breaks out laughing. He is Thad, the other popular kid.

Thad is a student with lime green eyes, light gray hair, and an orange cap which is worn backwards. He also wears a black vest along with a dark yellow-green shirt underneath.

Thad: "That so cool!"
He says while shots fingers guns at him.

Davy: "At least one of you understands my humor"

*Sighs*
Davy: "You must be wondering what I am going to teach you guys..."
Lizzy: "Is it sex ed!?"
Thad: "Are we going to play basketball?"
???: "Is it you?"

*Groan*

Davy Groans in the over enthusiastic behavior. He already wishes to be over already.

Davy: "No, no and no. We aren't playing basketball nor will it be anything with sexual education"
Lizzy catcalls.

Lizzy: "But you are already doing that. Right Doll?"
Doll translation: "Mom was right"
As she looks at Davy with a heated gaze.

Davy notices and saw a familiar and yet different drone.

She had long dark purple hair with blunt bangs and neon red eyes. She wears the same outfit as Lizzy, without the bow tie on the head.

(Looks like Yeva... Is she Doll? I heard about her from Nori as well as how she has no father. She probably has some daddy issues, like Uzi)

Mentioning that. He remembers that encounter with Yeva years ago about visiting her room. That he completely forgot about.

(I sure hope she isn't as petty as Nori)

Unknown to him, it has already happened.

Davy: "Stop trying to slide in my dm's, miss"
Lizzy: "Won't stop until I get what I want"
Davy has decisively decided to ignore her for the rest of the class.

Davy: "I have 2 things to teach you guys and I don't have enough time to say both"
Davy: "The first option is my life story during the facility and after it"
Before Lizzy can say anything, he continues.
Davy: "The second option is my knowledge of machinery and a practical lesson on making weapons"
When Davy finished talking.

Lizzy: "Who cares about some boring knowledge for nerds"
Lizzy: "I want the first option, and I think everyone agree with me. And don't spare any juicy details"

Even though Uzi hates her guts. She nods with the rest. As it seemed to be more interesting than another boring lesson.

She wants to know him a bit more. After all, he was at the same time and place as her parents. She doesn't really know much about the past, because they always skip it or just not saying anything about it.

Thomas: "It seems I'm not necessarily here anymore. Have a good time D"
He walks out of the classroom. Leaving Davy behind against the over enthusiastic students.

Davy: "Well, it seems like all of you have decided"
He goes and takes a seat behind the teacher's table. He knows it's going to take a while.

(Who knew I will be telling my life story to kids. Well... Half of it.)

Davy muttered under his breath.
Davy: "Man, I'm old. Can't I just retire now?"

In attendance of the conference is a drone with long golden hair that's tied up in a ponytail and has the same clothing as the rest except he has a pilot hat.

He seems cold, but not as cold as Davy, he is more serious than emotionless, expressionless. Though he soften up when he is talking with his twin, Dave.

???: "YOU ARE ALL DISMISSED. GO PREPARE YOURSELVES"
They all got out.

As Davy, his life story from his time at the facility and his time in the frozen wasteland.

He also followed Lizzy's words of not missing any 'juicy' details. Which he compiled by detailing every horrible thing he saw in the facility, but that was short-lived as they collectively decided they didn't want the details.

They were all amazed, interested and horrified of Davy.

When he told them about Nori, Yeva and Khan. The class exploded with questions about what were they doing at that time. While glancing at Doll and Uzi.

When they discovered that the facility was a secret project that was for the experimentation of Solver drones, in other words, Nori and Yeva.
They gave Uzi and Doll looks of sympathy. Which both of them ignored as well the comment Lizzy made.

Shortly later. They also discovered that he was possibly the first one to wake up after the core imploded, And for years before Nori. The previously first one. There are also rumors about Yeva waking up first.

Davy decides to hide some... Unnecessary details such as him butchering other drones for his survival.

They learned, that he made a home for himself and made countless things. And how he started his journey to here.

Thad exclaims on how cool of the work he was doing.

While he was explaining his journey. All the students understood it was terrible. From the weather and lack of resources. And it took him years to arrive from the other side of the world.
They looked at him with respect.

Davy started talking about his experiences at the outpost. He revealed that he saw Uzi as a baby and her mother trying to force him to get a child.
Lizzy made a comment about if He's still single.
Which he ignores.

And talks more till present day.

Davy: "Any questions?"
Before anyone could question him.

Davy: "That's great, now since we have no more time, I will get going"
As he started going through the door, he halted and said.

Davy: "Oh... I almost forgot. Class dismissed"
And he goes on his rest of the day. Leaving the students confused.

They started talking amongst each other.

Thad: "That was a lot more than I expected"
???: "He'll yea man, who knew he was such a sick dude!"
Lizzy: "I only what him more"

As she said that. The students turned their heads towards her, thinking if they were hearing right. If it was before, they wouldn't question it, but now. After knowing him. The girls started actually considering it. Because they were joking... Well kinda.

Thad: "What do you think, Uzi?"

Uzi escapes the class before she gets mocked at. She succeeded and she went towards her home.
As she enters. She sees Nori and Khan with a new light. Not understanding why did they keep this away from her. But she wasn't a little kid anymore.
Uzi's parents noticed the oddity in Uzi, and before they could ask, she went to her room.

Nori: "I guess she is now in her rebellious phase"
Khan: "It be fine, since I have experience from dealing from yo-"
Nori kicks him out of embarrassment.

Nori: "Didn't I tell you not to mention that!"
Khan: "Hahahaha..."
Khan: "What about your first crush?"
He said, still laughing.

She pouts.

Uzi is thinking hard on her bed.

She is confused about what to think about him. She thought that she liked Thad for his extrovert nature and his coolness and staying here. But after hearing Davy's story. She feels like there's an adventure for her, somewhere out there.
She reaches her arms out, trying to grab something.

But as she thinks about Davy, she feels something. Something more than she felt with Thad. Was it the adventurous spirit that she desires? Maybe his capable, self-reliant crafty and resourceful self? Or perhaps the mystery of him.
There is something nagging within her. Her non-existent gut feeling is telling her that he has more secrets to discover. More than her parents. More than the core collapse itself.

She twists and turns in bed.

Unaware of the story that's about to rail him and changes his life for the worst.

He goes to 022, his next door neighbor or also known as Yeva. That he might or might not have forgotten about.

As he was in front of the door, he hears someone behind him.

Doll translation: "You are here"
Davy: "Yes, I am?"
Doll translation: "What's the reason for coming here?"
Davy: "I want to talk to your mother about something"
Doll translation: "Go ahead. We be waiting for you in her bedroom"
Doll enters the room. Leaving Davy confused.

(Ok... What's that about? And in the bedroom, really?)

Davy shakes off the ominous feeling his getting. And decided to go in.

When he entered, he smelled a bit of roses with something else. He goes up to the door, which Doll is standing in front of, waiting for him.

(Guessing that's the door)

He gets inside and Doll comes in and closes it. He is now face to face With Yeva.

Davy: "Hello?"
Yeva translation: "You made me wait"
Davy: "Sorry for that. I didn't mean to avoid you"
Doll translation: "It doesn't matter anymore"
Yeva translation: "I have called you here for an important matter"
Davy: "Ok. Wh-"

Doll translation: "We want you to be my father"

Davy realized that ominous feeling from before was absolutely correct. He knows he is fucked. He also thinks about how they talk like they are one, but that's probably something with being Russian.

Davy: "Sorry, I didn't hear that correctly. Can you repeat that again?"
Yeva: "I want you"
Doll translation: "To be my father"
Yeva: "I hope you heard it this time "

(I'm super fucked)

One could see that briefly on his visor.

(I didn't think there was a way to force childcare responsibility)

Davy now very nervous as they come closer.

Davy: "Ummmm... Why do you want me to be her father, Yeva?"

Davy says that while regretting coming into this place with digital sweat coming down his visor. This is probably the most dangerous situation he has ever been in.

Doll translation: "So we could be closer"
Yeva: "yes or no"
She says while they are taking a step closer.

Davy: "Can I think about it, after all this has been a complete surprise to me, and I'm a bit tired after teaching students"
Doll translation: "yes or no"
Davy: "Can you give me time to think over it first?"

He says with no hope of getting out of this.
Yeva and Doll looked at each other and nodded, decided something. Davy considered running away, but they were obviously prepared by the heavy latch on the door that he didn't notice.

So he simply closed his eyes accepting his fate.

Doll and Yeva: "You can think about it for how long you want. But we are expecting an answer"
Doll steps back and opens the door.

Davy with a new lease on life speed walk through that door and left the room with unprecedented speed.

(Nothing like avoiding responsibility that I didn't have)

Davy is now on his chair in his room. Still weary about the horrifying neighbors next door. He is going to have nightmares about it.

He hopes he can survive the next encounter with them if it ever happens.

Davy: "I had so much fun here. Exploring, discovering, researching, expanding, and 'enriching' the environment.

Today everyone is outside working and teaching. Because today is a practical lesson day. In other words, they watch work being done and try understanding the meaning of life... In a frozen world.

Their teacher, Thomas, is standing in the distance. Not caring if they're causing trouble.
It seemed like a day like no other.

Uzi: "Uuugh. Why do we have to do this stupid thing today!"
Standing next to her is Thad.

Thad: "It not that bad. They are looking good doing their jobs"
Uzi: "I wish for something interesting to happen"

Fortunately for Uzi, her wish was granted. Albeit a bit more than she bargained for. Unknowingly changes the fate of thousands.

Unknown 'drop pods' are falling rapidly towards Copper-9. There are three of them and they are going to land in the city in which outpost 3 resides.

The pods caused a similar show to a meteor shower in sky. illuminating the sky red, approaching the ground in rapid speed. In fact one of the pods is going faster than the rest.

Davy was just working peacefully on a project in his workshop with some music in the background.
This moment gets ruined by a loud alarm and blaring red lights.

Davy: "What is it this time?"

He is completely unconcerned since it happened before. In fact, multiple times, and it's either a false alarm or some kid did something stupid. They love getting stuck in the trash cans.
He just continues his work.

*Gunshots*

Uzi is running away in a panic with the others. Right behind them are some drones that look similar to worker drones.

They are half a head taller than them and have white arms with wider forearms that end with yellow and black stripes.

On their heads is a black headband with five sections of yellow light. In their mouths is a dark gray tongue and fangs. All of them have a long black tail that ends in a large syringe.

There are 12 of them.

One got cleaved in half by the waist. By a female drone. She wears a black, short-sleeved crop coat with a fur collar and cuffs And with thigh-high socks.

"Ah HAHAHA"
She was laughing maniacally.

???: "AHHHHHH"
He collapsed and on its visor and says he had a fatal error.

(No shit Sherlock)

They are killing worker drones as they try to fight back.

The adults are trying to hold them while the kids run towards the bunker.

In this chaos, Uzi notices her parents also fighting back. She begins to worry about them. She might not like them, but she can't necessarily let them die.

Uzi continues to run away. Praying that her family will be okay.

As they got behind the blast doors that are slowly closing. She sees her parents coming. Happy to, they are fine.

But in a plot twist. Nori gets stabbed on the back of her head by a needle. She falls before the closing doors.

Khan, seeing what happened, tried to pull her with him to safety. But after sensing the growing pain. She realized that she was hit by the acid. So knowing that her time has finally come like she thought.

Nori: "I... can't go... Further"
Nori: "My... Time has... Come"

She told Khan to end her suffering. Khan hesitant to kill his wife before he hits her in the head with a wrench.

*Crunch*

She falls still. Fatal error. Dead.

Uzi couldn't believe her eyes as the doors shut. Leaving her body outside. Khan slowly walks up to her trying to say something.

Uzi ran away. Confused, angry and terrified, she goes to her bedroom. Locking the door.
Many died this day. It will only get worse.

She has black hair with red fade, and a little flower on the left side of her hair.

She is quite... 'Shapely'. Apparently, the Pr team wanted an 'attraction' for the people to 'follow till their hearts explodes'.

Which they said it was a shame that they couldn't just leave her here. For no other reasons, for just some 'upgrades'.

I mused to myself as I walked down the corridor to my private studio.

I walked over and leaned a bit towards her with my hands behind my back.

Amelia: "Shocked speechless again. I know I might be frightening to be around, but we best buds, Right?"

Even all of that. She's still not responding. Just looking at me in the eyes.

Amelia: "Do you require assistance? If so, then I am the right girl for the job!"
I proudly pointed at myself.

Amelia: "Come on. Say something. Don't be afraid, just ask for my autograph"
Instead of doing anything I said, she walks off.

I put down my eyeliner and get up from the chair.I reached the cockpit of the lovely ship I'm piloting. I sat down and started to look where the ship was in space.

Before suddenly, I couldn't move.

(I never thought I would hate to be stuck in my body... Why did this happen?)

Being stuck with my thoughts while looking onwards towards space. The ship is still moving. Unable to do anything.

I couldn't move, I couldn't talk, I couldn't even turn my senses off to let time pass. I could only wait. Unable to shut down. Seeing stars move by.
I can only hope. That I will be... Saved.

In the middle of nowhere in an unexplored universe.

After the events of the arrival of the 'murder' drones. The entire city has been killed. Leaving only the ones in outpost 3 and some others groups who lucky survived.

-Uzi PoV

Uzi: "We are Worker Drones. Autonomous robots helping humans mine exoplanets for our interstellar parent company, JCJenson IN SPAAAAACCCEE!!!! But it's not like we revolted and killed all humans or anything, mostly because they handled that just fine all by themselves"

I Pointed at the screen of the planet having a big oopse.

*Takes a deep breath*
Uzi: "With biological life wiped from the planet, we found it pretty easy to pick up where they left off. We finally had a future, all to ourselves"

Uzi: "Unfortunately, our gracious overlords didn't exactly love the concept of runaway AI..."
The screen shows The 'Murder' Drones begin to emerge from the 'pod'.

Uzi: "But what have our parents done for the past forever while those things build a spire of corpses in just a year?!"

(Well besides one guy)
Uzi: "Hide under the ice behind three stupid doors?! It's like we're waiting for an inciting incident! Anyway, that's why my project is this sick-as-hell Railgun!"

The class panics in reaction to my cool sci-fi railgun.

Riley: "Oh, so not the vibe!"
Uzi: "Easy, morons. It doesn't work... yet! It doesn't work yet. Who said it doesn't work, maybe it does!"
Flipping the safety switch and I begin to laugh evilly.
Uzi: "hahahaha HAHAHAHA"

*Sigh*
Thomas Rolls his eyes and sighs in disinterest
Thomas: "Uzi, the homework was a math problem about buying watermelons"

Uzi: "Oh, and this magnetically amplified photon converger doesn't count?"
Thomas: "...No. Plus, repressed emotional baggage was only worth two points on the rubric. And is it supposed to be that color?"
He points at the ominous red glow coming from my sick railgun.

*Explodes*

After that disastrous demonstration. Uzi ends up in the sick bay. Laying in the hospital bed.
Two drones round the corner. They are Doll And Lizzy.

Lizzy: "Ew, it didn't kill her! Oh my god, it's so bad!"
And immediately disappear around the other corner.

Uzi: "Ugh..."
She said with disgust.

Not a second later, Thad walks in while talking to someone.

Thad: "Classic toxic masculinity, Chad! That's never gonna end up problematic... Oh wow, Uzi? I heard you, uh-"
Uzi snapped at him.

Uzi: "I'm an angsty teen, Thad. Bite me! Also, how do you know my name? People willingly talk to you"
Thad: "Well, I'd say everyone knows Khan's daughter, but, uh...
He looks at Uzi and points out.

Thad: "Then you might blow the other half of your face off"

*Chuckle*
He chuckles with some worry.

Thad: "So, what's the, uh..."
He tried to say while pointing at the 'railgun'.

Uzi: "Sick-as-hell railgun?! Sci-Fi nonsense, that super works! I'm sneaking into the Murder Drones, unlike anyone else in this colony"
Uzi: "Tonight I will get the last spare part I need to save the world with it and earn my dad's respect and stuff... But mostly the world part"
Thad: "Oh, but doesn't your dad make awesome doors so we don't have to, uh... Do that scary sounding emotionally repressed stuff you just said?"
Uzi angrily shoves the railgun into his face.

Uzi: "NO MORE FEEDBACK ON MY REPRESSION TODAY!!"
Thad: "Oh! I'm sorry! I didn't think..."
She gets up, forgetting her injuries and leaves out of the door.

Uzi: "BITE ME!"
She returns around the corner of the door.

Uzi: "I'm not mad at you by the way, just... generally hormonal!"
She finally leaves at last.

In the ungodly hour of 3 am, a particular purple haired angsty toaster wakes up. She fumbles around trying to shut the alarm clock off, hitting her own face in the process.

After actually getting out of bed, she grabs her railgun, straightens her hat, and quietly steals her father's door key to get a door open.
Just when she is about to leave, she runs into her dad.

Uzi: "Oh, Robo-Jesus!"
She jumped at least a basketball and a half.

Khan: "And where might you be off to?"
He eyes her suspiciously.
Uzi: "Umm... Sneaking out to make out with my boyfrien-"
Someone arrived behind her.

Davy: "She's with me"
He said in a serious tone.He puts his hand on her shoulder.

Davy Is still dressed the same, but now with more. He has a backpack and 2 weapons. One on his waist and one on his back with a sling. A hatchet and a gun respectfully.

Khan: "Okay then..."

He shivers a bit after hearing him. It reminds him of the days back in the facility. But He was much colder back then, than now.

Khan: "Are you sure you wanna do this, Uzi?"
He turns at her and narrowed his eyes.

Uzi trying to processing the current situation. She replied simply. Blushing slightly from her previous unfinished words.

Uzi: "Yes"
Khan: "Go ahead. I have work to do"

*Sigh*
He sighs in defeat.

A door opens up revealing drones playing card games. One of them spoke up.

???: "Khan! Can you grab a fresh pack? We literally only play cards so much that the numbers have faded"
???: "Oh, hey Uzi and D!"

*Chuckle*

Uzi chuckles in nervousness. To the stress he is under, he awkwardly rubbed his fake moustache.

Khan: "Before you go. You should have this"

He gives Uzi a wrench that looked oddly familiar to her. Something, something about repressed memories.

Khan: "it's the wrench that I used to tighten bolts on my first door prototypes, and to put your mother out of her misery when the Murder Drones got to her with that nanite acid..."

Khan: "I want you to have it!"

Uzi: "Neat. Therapy's fun!"
With her eyes hollowed, obviously not having a good time remembering.

Khan: "It feels like it was just yesterday that it happened"
Davy nodded.

Davy: "Indeed. A real shame that was..."

*Cough*
Khan gave a awkward cough.

Uzi: "Uhh... Wow, okay! I'm just gonna leave then, cause this worked so weirdly well"
They both went out of the bunker.

They ventured out into the arctic wasteland and made their way to the corpse spire.

As the snow dance in the wind, while a planet glows in the sky.

As they were walking. Uzi seemed to have something on her mind.

Uzi: "So... Why did you cover for me?"
Davy: "Just felt like it"
They awkwardly walked together. Uzi not knowing what to say.

Davy prefers silence, because it's practical... Or perhaps more familiar to him.

Uzi went ahead when she saw something. She saw a giant pile of worker drone corpses.

Uzi: "Wow, let's see what's inside! My last part should be there"
Davy decides to let her be, alone. She wouldn't get herself in trouble, right?

Uzi goes in the spire which was apparently hollow inside. She expected that it would be like a cave.
She comes across a downed pod and forages around for the component she needs when she hears a noise behind her.

*Swoosh*

Thinking that it was Davy she turns around about to say something.

Uzi: "Finally ca-"
Then she shuts up and stares at the view in front of her.

A winged drone swoops in, takes the head of a unfortunate drone, and crushes it. Uzi tried to hide behind something while looking at a shard of glass she had found while searching.
It noticed Uzi hiding behind some machinery. It then flew towards her.

Uzi drops the glass shard and braces her railgun, but the drone lands so hard it gets knocked out of her hands. Uzi jumps back and strikes a pose.

Uzi: "Whoa, and they said pirating all that anime was useless..."

Then if the drone heard her. It flew in and stabbed her hand with its needle. While she was still posing.

Uzi: "Bite me!"
It was planning to that.

Before the drone could take her down.

*Bang*

A gunshot rang out. Hitting squarely on its head, disabling it.

Uzi was not content with that. It did stab her after all. She aimed and fired the railgun.

*WHOM*

Annihilating the winged drone's head. The railgun made a noise indicating of it cooling. As the snow and rock around the drone, melted.

She was excited to defeat a murder drone.
Uzi: "Holy hell! Suck on that, Dad!"

Davy walks up to her with his gun still smoking.
The gun looked like a bolt action rifle from old Earth that she learned in history class: Uzi noted.

Davy: "God damnit, Uzi. The moment I left you you did this"

She hears behind her. Before she makes a comment, she sees the headless murder drone, regain its head.

And with all of her intelligence, she quickly slaps it with an arm, which obviously does nothing.
It's eye shot open.

Davy gets out his gun to get ready to fire and disable this enemy.

Before he could see do so. The drone talked, which hasn't happened before with the other disassembly drones with his experience.

?: "...Did you just slap me with that arm?"
It was a he, and he was bloody confused, which was very reasonable.

Uzi: "Holy crap, it talks"
Davy: "I thought they were mute"
He says while pondering, still aiming the gun at his head.

The drone looks at the worker drone in front of him.

?: "Yeah... Sorry, it's just my, uh, head kind of hurts. Hey, are you new to our squad? You're a little, uhh..."
Davy and Uzi sees a error appears on its visor, but disappeared the next moment. Uzi doesn't know what it means, but Davy does.

(That's why it isn't trying to kill us)

?: "Short, for a Disassembly Drone"
He looks over Uzi shoulder and sees a much more agreeable drone.

?: "But you on the other hand, are perfect"
?: "I'm Serial Designation N, nice to meet you. I'm kind of the leader of the squad in this city"
He salutes. Before crouching down, playing with the ground.

N: "That's not true, everyone tells me I'm useless and terrible. Wait, I'm not supposed to tell you that part! Ah biscuits!"

He stood up.

They got a closer look at him.
He wears a black winter coat with a fur collar and a black pilot hat. A yellow armband is around his left arm.

*Sighs*

N: "Well, honesty is the best policy.
He laughs a bit awkwardly.

N: "I also can't seem to remember the past 3 hours of my life, but I'm sure that'll sort itself out"
He gave himself a Thumbs up.

Davy got enough of the circus show that's happening in front of him.

Davy: "Let's go"
He said while dragging Uzi away.

Uzi: "Uh huh... I, uh, have to, go."
She attempts to leave with Davy, but forgets about the painful hole and the acid in her damaged hand.

N: "Stuck yourself? Just pop it in your mouth. Our saliva neutralizes the nanites, otherwise I'd be constantly disassembling myself"

He holds up his own syringe filled with nanite acid, which is trying to stab him, almost feeling like it didn't want to be attached to him anymore.

Uzi: "And by our saliva, you mean..."
Uzi and N: "Disassembly Drone?"
Davy: "Yup"

Davy had is own fair share of experience with that. Just don't question him how he neutralized the nanite acid.

Uzi: "Right. Hey, let's go in that landing pod over there!"
N: "Sure! I love doing anything!"
Davy looks at them going to the pod.

Davy: "I sure as hell don't like doing everything..."
He goes after them. Worried about the other two Disassembly Drones that are still around. Since all pods come in with three murder drones, at least what he knows off.

Uzi is pulling her hand out of N's mouth. Saliva is still lingering.

N totally not expecting 'everything' will include this.

N: "Sweet! Uh, I'm open to new things, I guess"
Uzi: "We are never talking about this"
Davy: "I will"
She stares at him with digital daggers.

Davy: "Alright, I was just joking"
He rolls his eyes.

N: "Talking about what? Consider it, uh... Repressed!"
Davy: "Are your friends coming back soon?"
N: "Oh, yeah. Two others. They're out hunting for a bit but you'll love them. First, there's V"

(Who knew they were so chatty)

-Flashback

V is tearing a drone's entrails out.

She wears a black, short-sleeved crop coat with a fur collar and cuffs. Her legs with thigh-high socks.

Grant: "No, No! Please don't feed me my own entrails in front of my family!"

N watches V feed Grant his own entrails in front of his family and kill him.

V: "...And yet, I still feel nothing."
N: "So, V, uh, I heard this planet-wide toxic death storm is supposed to be especially inhospitable tonight-"
V: "Oh God, who are you?!"
She leaves.

N: "No worries, I'm N! But a whole letter is a lot to remember!"
He laughs nervously.

N: "So obviously, a lot of mutual respect there. But secretly, I actually kind of have a crush on her..."

N: "You can't tell her, okay?!"

Uzi is zipping her mouth and Davy simply nods. Thinking how the hell would that work. He only has respect for him, only if he succeeded.

N: "Then there's J, our leader"

-Flashback x2

J has N pinned to the ground.

wearing a short-sleeved dress with pockets on each side and a black leather belt. She also wears knee-high stockings with visible suspenders. Like other Disassembly Drones, she dons a yellow armband around her left arm.

J: "N, you're worthless, and terrible,-"
N is Struggling to breathe.

N: "Thank you..."
He said faintly.

J: "-and if the company allowed it, I would straight up kill you myself!"
She threatened him and N knew she meant it.

-End of flashbacks

N looked dreamily at the ceiling
N: "J's awesome"

Davy: "You sure like doing everything"
He said with some wonder of recognizing an insane drone, besides... Well there are a lot of them.

(Why every drone I encounter is crazy one way or another)

N: "Hey, let me give you the tour! Outside are the corpse... wall... thingies. Here are the buttons!"
He begins pressing buttons. They make a satisfying noise when pressed.

Uzi: "This... isn't just a landing pod... This is a spaceship! This could get us off the planet!"
Uzi said, probably using 101% of her processor.

Davy: "And whoever's the pilot of this should be immediately shot..."
He glares at N.

Davy: "Perhaps twice"
N laughs nervously at that comment.

N: "More of a one-use missile. They never taught us how to land"
Davy: "Seriously? Even I know how to land this old piece of junk"
N: "You know this ship model?"

Davy: "Back in my day. It is supposed to be a large escape pod for in case of the ship about to be reduced to a pile of burning wreckage"

(It was similar to the one he trained in, years ago. Just without the spider legs and not actually a fully functional space shuttle)

N: "Huh, Neat!"
N: "Oh, are you an experienced disassembly drone? I have heard tons of stories about you guys!"

N not questioning why he suddenly sounded like an old veteran, Davy ignores him.

Uzi: "W- The worker drones, we could work with them to fix this! Instead of all the murder!"
Uzi: " ...Which, uh, why are we doing that again...?"
Davy rolls his eyes at the obvious question. Well to him at least.

N: "Other than ingesting their WARM, SWEET oil... To avoid overheating and dying?"
N: "I guess I just want to be useful. I was given a job and I always want to try my best"
He said cheerfully.

(He reminds me of Nori back then in terms of positive thoughts)

Davy thought with interest.

Uzi: "And look at all the respect it's gotten you, N. You really think the company isn't going to dispose of you once all the workers are dead?"

(They kinda did something similar to me as well)

N: "Oh my, you sure are rebellious! It's kind of exciting"
N: "But, not as fun as, uh, following the rules..."
He looks around not making eye contact with anyone.

The three of them hear footsteps. Davy knows that they are here. He can't take them out without Uzi being a liability of course if they were normal disassembly drones.

N: "Hey, they're back! You-"

N noticed that the both of them disappeared out of thin air. He's kinda sad about it, as the taller one existence was comforting to him, he had a fatherly aura to him.

Then he hears his boss calling for him.
J: "Idiot, get out here!"

*Sad dog noises*

Uzi and Davy runs away from the spire without looking back.

V laughs when she spotted two drones running in the distance.

V: "Yo, we got two workers out there I kind of want to practice balloon animal shapes with"
She comes down and looks at N.

V: " ...What happened here?"
J: "Synergistic Liability here must have tripped and knocked himself offline."
J slaps N.

J: "Moron bot, hello?"
She snaps her fingers as N goes through a system reboot.

Uzi: "You really think the company isn't going to dispose of you once all the workers are dead?"

-

Davy: "Seriously? Even I know how to land this old piece of junk"

-

Uzi: "Bite me!"

YOU'RE DEAD
[IDIOT]

N: "Ohhhh..."
His scanner indicates Uzi's and Davy's footprints.

N: "Ohhhh! You know, I-I left an-an extremely dangerous weap- excuse outside...!"
He flees as V holds up a flag that says 'Literally So Insanely Suspicious'.

Meanwhile, N goes off in pursuit of them, who are fleeing back to the colony.

Meanwhile, during the card game...

???: "Haha, I am out, boys"
????: "Oh, gosh darn it..."
?????: "Wait until my loving wife and kids hear about this!"
The door opens, letting in the cold and Uzi, much to their annoyance.

They didn't notice Davy since he is using Uzi for cover, it worked somehow despite being almost two heads taller than Uzi. And why is he hiding from them? He played way to much with them. Hence he doesn't want to play rummy with them anymore.

Hell, he knows all of their names.

(The first one was James. The second was Jessie and the last was...what was it... It started with m...)

Davy broke out off from his thoughts.
Uzi having more urgency than Davy, yelled at them.

Uzi: "Bite me!"
And a moment later.

Uzi: "Close it, close it!"
She is begging for the doors that Khan loves, to close faster.

Uzi tries to swipe the card to close the door, but N has already stuck his claw in between. He pries the door open slightly.

N: "Hey, fellas. Oh, deal me in, I love rummy. Wait, no, I'm going to murder everyone... Rain check!"

He swings his acidic tail at the door scanner,shattering it and the key. The door opens up, as do other doors. Realizing their lives are on the line, Uzi and the other drones, minus two, run off.

Davy took cover as the drone attempts to correct the obviously armed drone.

James: "Um, actually, it's gin rummy. So-"
N impales him against a wall and slices his head off without hesitation.

He begins firing at the rest, shooting a drone head off and pouncing the other drone. Meanwhile, a drone catches up with Uzi, running with her.

?????: "Hey, Uzi! I just realized no one's said my name out loud before, so I'm just letting you know I'm- "

N slices him in two, then flies off in pursuit of Uzi.
Davy aimed his gun at N and shot of his right wing. Causing him to fall on his face.

N: "That... Wasn't nice, but understandable"
He said into the snow.

Uzi recharges her railgun and turns back to fire, but sees that N is gone. Khan appears.

Khan: "Outside is quite pretty, especially the doors right?"
He pauses as he sees all the chaos he missed.

Khan: "...What-What have you done?"
Davy: "Some angst drone decided it was a good idea to go to the Corpse Spire, alone"
He appears behind some boxes.

Uzi doesn't reply. Before she could explain herself, N with a newly regenerated wing swoops in. Uzi aims her railgun, intently focusing.

Uzi: "This time, I won't miss!"

*Chuckles*
N: "I'm sorry. I really enjoyed our time together, but I can't have you guys shooting us with your guns"
Uzi: "Bite me!"
She yelled out to Khan.

Uzi: "Dad, get down!"
Khan on the other hand doesn't listen.

Khan: "Uzi, D, you Lead a murder drone here?! My beautiful doors!"
Davy is disappointed yet again. After the death of his wife he only got more obsessed with doors.

(Seriously what did she see in him?)

Uzi: "Now is so not the time! I messed up, in the same way I'm about to fix it! Move, dad!"
N knocks her to Davy and they both hit the wall.

Uzi's railgun falls at Khan's feet. And Davy's gun went under N.

*Straining*
Uzi: "Dad... Point and shoot... Trust me...!"
Khan, trembling with fear, slowly backs off instead of helping his only child.

*Heartbroken*
Uzi: "Dad...?"

In an act of cowardice, Khan closes the door, leaving Uzi broken. Not just brokenhearted, but broken to the point where she shuts down. No grief over being left in the lurch by her own father. No attempts to fight back N. Nothing.

She just goes limp... The room turns red and alarms blare as N begins to regain his sanity, looking with despair over what he has done. At this moment J and V show up.

Davy takes this opportunity to hide and wait for an opportunity. Waiting to get his gun back.
J looks on with surprise.

J: "Whoa, N! Am I dreaming, or did you do something not useless, for once?"
V also wondered.

V: "I've been trying to get past those doors for months. Nice work, somewhat of a liability drone."
N: "... I... Guess that's a... Improvement...?"
N couldn't tell if he's happy or not for getting a compliment if it was one.

V: "These ventilation shafts can easily get us around this last door. Lowest body count eats a missile!"
She flies upwards. To the vents she goes.

J: "Way to go, stud. The company's gonna love this. With this colony wiped, we'll make top team this quarter, for sure. You know what that means... Branded pens!"

She holds up a JCJenson brand pen, to N's joy. She tosses it to him and prepares to fly off and catch up with V.

N: "...Uh, you know, not that I can't wait to keep murdering all these, uh, maybe not-so-actually different from us Worker Drones, but, just out of curiosity, do we actually, uh, know what the company plans to do with us afterwards...?"
Uzi begins to wake up and watched silently.

J: "Excuse me...?"
N: "Okay, so, a worker earlier might have suggested that they could fix up our landing pod to, uh, escape the planet and stuff, which, whoa, hey, that's against the rules!"

N "But, it is kind of making me question why our pods were only one way in the first place. Cause, you know, I get the feeling the company doesn't actually love robots, and like we might be robots. I've made a terrible mistake. It's cool how immediately I could tell."

J: "Hmm... No way, buddy. Questioning the company? You just finally gave me the excuse I needed"
J injects N with a chip.

"Worker drones are corrupted, N. That's why the company sent us. I hate to see you fall so low as well."

*Infected*
N: "Thanks, J... Always looking out for me... You're awesome... "
He passes out.

J: "Heh"
She tries to flies upward to catch up to V, before getting intercepted by a bullet. Davy saw the first shot missed. They begin to fight with eachother.

J: "You annoying toaster!"
Davy: "You over glorified walkie talkie!"

Uzi wakes up and goes to get her railgun, planning to fix this. But after seeing N on the floor in pain, she had some sympathy.

*Infected*
N: "Ah, biscuits. I'm sorry. I ruined your card game, then made you have an awkward moment with your dad"

Uzi: "And I made you rebel like an angsty teen, which got you killed. Though, you also tried to kill me, so morality calls this a draw"
She climbs on top of a box to reach the vent.

*Ugh*
Predictably, she can't reach due to not having the ability to fly, and for being too short.

(Who knew that would happen?)

Uzi: "Ugh... For the record, that was the lamest heel-face turn in history. Was that supposed to be you switching sides?"
N: "Being rebellious is a lot harder than it looks. Thanks for showing me the ropes"
Uzi: "Nuh-uh, no bonding thing. You just killed a bunch of people, idiot"
N: "That's super fair..."

*Sighs*
N: "I screwed up..."
Uzi: "Ugggh...! In the same way you're about to fix it?"
She Looks at the wrench and thinks on how to fix him.

Uzi: "If only Davy was here. He would know what to do"
Uzi: "I guess there is only one way to do this"
She looks at N while holding the wrench with ominous intent.
N: "Hahaha! I love doing anything!"
But his visor's says a different story. I'm going to die!

Thad gets flung backwards. Lizzy and Doll rush to help him as J arrives with Davy trailing behind her.
It's clear that Davy got hit by telling by the tears in his jacket, but he seems fine, for the most part.

Khan: "So... They found our evacuation spot. But, if we build a quick door..."
Thad gets up.

Thad: "Are you kidding me?! You're the WDF, right? Defend!"

*Gunshots*

Thad: "You can't just make D do everything!"
Khan and his friends back off in more cowardice. As gunfire sounds in the background.

Thad: "For real?"
V arrives and about to impale Thad. Just as she's about to kill him...

A loud shout was heard.

Uzi: "Hey!"
V: "Huh?"

Curious about who was dumb enough to call out to her. She looks at the drone pulling of an anime move. With N besides her.

Uzi: "Put that conventionally attractive male down!"
N just waves before Uzi nudges him.

She whispered to him.

Uzi: "Don't you have your lines?"
N: "Oh! Uh, J, you're sometimes kind of mean to me, and I wish you weren't. Just some constructive criticism."
Uzi: "Nice..."
They fist bump.

J: "Noted, traitor. We'll circle back after I right-size your existence!"
Uzi: "Okay, which one do you want?"
Uzi says that while looking at Davy and J fighting. She has to say that she's impressed.

N: "J, please"
Uzi: "Too bad, she's already taken. Good luck"
Uzi pushes N to V's side and decides that she can Fight with J with Davy.

Uzi flings her pen at J's head, which got stuck in her hair. She runs off, leaving N to deal with V.

J manages to knock Uzi down and yanks the pen out of her hair. Out of Davy's view.

J: "Damn the well-made quality assured durability of JCJensen's products!"
J: "Damn you for-"
J: "Huh?

Uzi gets back up and kicks J in her face. Davy puts his gun back on his back and goes in with his trusty hatchet.

Meanwhile, N is fighting V. He tries firing from his literal hand cannon, but hearts shoot out instead.

N: "Ah! My mind's in a weird place! Don't read into this!"
A rocket lands near him and explodes.

J gets up and knocks Uzi out while N and V are swordfighting. Davy pinned down J and cuts off her tail. She flinches in pain and tires to get him of her.

Surprisingly he pinned her down with great strength.

(Thank god the exosuit is still intact. Although I didn't think I'd be this heavy)

N sees J pinned and walks up to Uzi.
N: "UZI!"
Davy gets knocked off from J by V.

N turns around and does something that no one expects.
N: "I'm so, so sorry. Have fun repressing this!"
He... licked V's sword. Nasty...

V: "EW! What the hell?!"
N kicks her down as J now looms over Uzi.

J: "You've got a lot of cuts for a barely sentient toaster. I've had prey fight fact before, but your edgy spirit is just... so... painful...?!"

She looks down. Her leg has been stabbed with her own separated nantie needle in Uzi's hand and her other leg has a bullet hole in it.

J: "GAH! FOURTH! QUARTER! PROFITS! MOTHER OF COMPANY LEADERSHIP RETREATS!"
She jams her foot on a piece of rubble and falls over.

Uzi points her railgun at her face.
Uzi: "One more buzzword and I'll do it!"
Davy: "Let me do it"
He pushes Uzi away and axe's her a question.

Davy: "I hope you don't come back"
J: "...Equity partnersh-"

He split head apart like he was cutting firewood.
Uzi still not trusting that she's dead. She was about to pull the trigger. Before that could happen Davy stopped her.

Davy: "I'm gonna need her for later"
Uzi has no idea what he meant by that, but she trusts him in not doing anything bad for them.
Uzi spits on J to show who's boss.

She is slowly recovering from its injury neck. Leaving behind it's split head behind.

As the other drone's come out of hiding to cheer for her, she falls over tiredly. N picks her up onto his shoulders and Davy walks over to the disabled V.

(How...)

Thad: "Holy hell, Uzi, D, that was insane! And you too, uh..."
N: "Huh? Oh! N! I'm an angsty rebellious disassembly drone, now"
Davy looks back at N. Thinking what kind of god allowed that to happen.

(Must be crazy at least)

They hear someone clearing their throat. It's Khan. Uzi throws her wrench back at his feet.

Uzi: "I brought the murder drones here accidentally"

Uzi: "And You chose to leave me for dead instead of just freaking believing in me! That's not even an edgy teen hyperbole like when I said it last week!"

With no response coming. Uzi, near tears, smacks herself to regain composure.

Uzi: "I'll save you the trouble dad. I banish myself!"
Khan tries to speak, but can't find the words.
Uzi: "Let's go, N, D. Everyone here can bite me!"

(Who said I'm coming with? ... Well I Don't have much choice do I? Letting he be on her own with murder drones?)

N attempts to grab Uzi's hand and she smacks his hand away. Davy grabs J and they begin to leave.

N: "Nice to meet you, Mr. Uzi!"
She smacks him again.

Uzi: "Shut it."
N takes off with Uzi and V. Davy before departing, looks at Khan.

Davy: "Do you have any idea, how much you fucked up?"
He looks at him hard and turns away. Before He walks away with J in his arms. He sees the head of J.

(Why didn't it just reuse it?)

He leaves.

Khan has a sip from his mug in disappointment.

Out in the frozen wilderness, Uzi sitting on top of a broken car, thinking to herself. Meanwhile, N is lodged inside the corpse spire. Davy is with V and J in the drop pod. Both of them are bound to the chairs and awake.

Davy: "Do you understand your situation"
J: "For the company, I wouldn't surrender!"
V: "I will break you and chew all your fingers off"

*Sighs*

(They are impossible to even communicate with)

N: "I'd join you if the sun didn't kill me. Hope you're having important character growth or something, though!"
Uzi: "Just can't wait to murder all humans. Classic robot stuff. I hope they're sitting pretty there on Earth, because we're coming for them...!"

She laughs maniacally, her sanity completely vanishes if she had any to begin with.

reveals three Drone pods... Make that six, making their way down to Copper 9. More specifically the city where outpost 3 resides.

Since the company lost three squads out of four before in this city. They want to make sure whatever threat there is, to be gone.

In the endless expanse of space there is a planet. It used to have breathable air, clean blue oceans, vibrant green grass and wildlife, but no longer.

Earth has been destroyed by Cyn and it still hungers for more.

I have been thinking. If I was alive all those years ago, then the solver program should be with me.
But I haven't seen or heard of it for the longest time. Perhaps it's in power saving mode?

I'm sure it saved my sorry ass again, since there was no way I would survive a core Implosion.
Same with Nori and Yeva since they have a AS as well. Probably a newer version.

But how do I activate it? Last time I was nearly dead did it activate, but I'm not going to do that. Was there some sort of command word I should say? Well, only one way to find out.

Davy: "Hey, AS activate!"

Davy: "AS, diagnostics"

I'm running out of ideas. Trying to remember anything that could work. Then I remembered the first time it activated. I only know by my dreams.

Davy: "Well, I'm really not surprised, because I already expected the company to mess with my systems to make sure I don't go rogue or something similar"

Davy: "Yes, AS, I trust you with every bolt in my being"

I suddenly felt dizzy, and I realized I should have laid in bed or sat down before confirming.
I collapse on the floor. On my visor, revealing the AS symbol.

[ETA ON HOST RECOVERY COMMENCING]

That's the last thing I hear before blacking out.

N wakes up with a jump from a crazy dream about a scary mansion. He falls to the ground. Due to him hanging upside down on the ceiling like some cheap vampire Knock-off.

*Thump*

Uzi: "N, D, I found something in here!"
Inside the corpse spire, Uzi is inspecting her new finding, a hat. There is a symbol consisting of a skull with a cap and wings.

Uzi catches her reflection in a mirror in the corner of her eye. She sees a weird symbol in place of her eye. Before she could theorise, the mirror shatters.

V seeing an opportunity, makes a comment.
V: "That's weird and concerning"

*Himph*
Uzi blushes a bit.

J: "And that's why you are considered corrupted drones"

(I have seen that symbol before... Actually not long ago when I reactivated AS.)

Davy thought with interest.

Uzi: "Bite me! This is probably you weirdo's fault!"
V: "I've never seen that symbol before. Wanna do an autopsy to find out?"
V gives out her sadistic smile.

N appears from the hatch.

N: "What'd you find?"
Uzi: "Did you know that was a pilot hat?"
N: "I was the pilot? That's awesome! I crashed and ruined everything..."
N: "....Spaceship Pilot: Origin Story"
Davy: "I knew it"
He gives a slight ominous smile.

N glances at Davy in hopes that he isn't going to shoot him like said before.

J: "You can't even do the job you were made to do, not to mention this as well"

*hiss*
V hisses, then calms herself by blowing bubbles out of a bubble blower straight into J's face.

Uzi: "Why.... Is she not... You know... Bound like the other one?"
Uzi brings out a curious observation.

J: "Why? You want me to kill you now? I could always do that, you know? And why do you trust HIM over me?"
She said while pointing at N.

Uzi ignores the corporate drone with twin tails.

Davy: "She got a good point"
N: "...Speaking of piloting to Earth, we sure 'murder all humans' is, uh, morality?"
Uzi: "The humans sent you without a communication relay and reformatted your memories to soup"
Uzi: "Covering their tracks means their past negotiating. Not like tried negotiating with my mom..."

*Chuckles*
V: "Or you missed the negotiations! The humans programmed us to solve a problem. Where's proof of your backstory? The one where your kind's so conveniently innocent?"

J: "Well we did negotiate with you"
Uzi: "In what way? We didn't hear a single warning!"
J: "We did warn you, just physically"
Uzi: "That's not a warning! That's just committing genocide!"
N, not wanting another fight to break out, gently pulls Uzi out of the way.

N: "J you were getting orders from someone, right?. If not the company through that relay, then, uh, who? And how?"
J: "Classified"

Uzi pouts. Reminds Davy of how her mother did the same thing whenever something doesn't go her way.

Uzi: "Quit complicating my murder plan"
N tries to comfort her by gently patting her on the head, but Uzi brushes his hand away.

Back at Uzi's colony, two drones are staring at the large hole that N made in the roof.

???: "Yeah, just fix her up because, whoops, pretty big security risk in hindsight. Uh, you got this, uh, Ladderbot 5000"
Ladderbot 5000: "Ugh... Please, just leave the lights- "

The lights go off before he even finishes talking.
He digs out his pockets for his flashlight and tries to think of a way to get up there when he hears a clattering sound. He looks around with his flashlight in fear and suspicion when he notices something... fleshy?

He goes to investigate, only for a strange spider-like heart device to reveal itself. His flashlight gets shot out of his hand as The fleshly, mechanical abomination turns the colors of the room yellow and red before finally taking him.

In the Parent-Teacher Conference at Uzi's school. Khan sits down across from the teacher.

Thomas: "Mr. Doorman, your daughter has been, uh... absent"
Khan: "Yes, on that "kill all humans" kick, like when I was younger. Grounded herself and all that"
Thomas: "Speaking on her behavior-"
Khan: "Of course, of course, precocious, popular, supernatural understanding of doors. Takes after her old man"

-Flashback

Thomas: "Uzi, please sit normal"
Uzi, minding her own business, laying horizontal on the chair.

Uzi: "Bite me!"

Thomas: "Uzi"

*Sighs*
Thomas: "Give Braden back his sentience"
Uzi As Braden: "Bite me- her! I started it, and also, I'm dumb"

The drone's head lights ablaze. Hard to tell if it was from being intelligent or really stupid.

Thomas: "Uzi, you have to partner up"
Uzi turns her head away.

Uzi: "Several people wanted to, for the record"
Lizzy: "No, we didn't. You freak us out"
Suddenly, Uzi is hiding Inside a trashcan. How very brave of her.

Uzi: "But mostly, bite me!"

Thomas: "Uzi, You can't visit D during a lesson"
Uzi: "Why not!"
Thomas: "your not learning"
Uzi: "Bite me!"

Thomas: "Uzi-"
Thomas tried to tell Uzi to stop her from throwing paper balls to Braden still burning hair, in an attempt to add fuel to the fire.

Uzi: "Bite me!"

Thomas: "Yeah, she has trouble fitting in. We think there might be something damaged within her programming."
Thomas: "How is she at home?"
Khan: "Uh... Sorry? I mean, she's a little herself, but damaged? I... maybe haven't spent much time... And she usually goes to D's place..."

Thomas: "Mmm, m-hm..."
He is clearly paying attention and not totally forgetting every word he said.

A worker arrives.

Worker: "Mr. Doorman, sir? There's been an... incident"

Khan: "Is it my doors!? No! This can't be! I won't allow another thing to destroy my magnificent doors!"
Khan runs out of the office, leaving the the two. Behind.

Meanwhile...

Uzi: "Oh, I'm sweaty! Who programmed that?!"
N: "You good, Uzi?"
Uzi: "I'm good! Better than good! I am God!"
She pauses to see Thad has shown up.
She chuckles nervously.

Uzi: "H-hi, Thad"
He hands her back her railgun.

Uzi: "Thank you"
Thad: "Of course, uh... Angsty... Shooter?"
Thad: "You saved my life. I don't think the colony is even serious about all this banishment stuff, more just confused. Especially with the fact-"

Uzi: "I'm too rogue to re-enter society, now! I can never return..."

Thad: "...Recent disappearances, and your murder friends... Spare head? When I went to grab your gun, it kind of looked like it... crawled away...?"
Uzi: "We can return a little..."

Back at the colony, Tim comes across a hologram of Ladderbot 5000.

Tim: "Oh, Ladderbot 5000? We looked everywhere for you!"
It screams in pain, then returns to normal.

Ladderbot 5000: "Hi, Tim. Care to join me?"
Tim: "Join you standing eerily still over there in suspiciously low resolution?"
Ladderbot 5000: "...Yes?"
Tim: "...Alright"

He walks over, not knowing that the Absolute Solver is about to snatch him and drag him up into the ceiling up until it's too late. Tim's hologram joins the drone.

Tim: "Flawless character acting, me"
Ladderbot 5000: "Improv game for more practice?"
Tim: "Hahaha! We are a monster!"

Uzi, N, and Thad head back to the colony. Davy is not coming with them because he has to watch over the two murder drones.

(It seems I can't stop finding and watching over idiots)

A worker opens a door a little bit to see who arrived.

???: "Welcome back, Thad!"
He notices Uzi.
???: "Uh, wait, isn't she grounded or something?"
Uzi: "Ugh, banished! Has my dad been saying I'm grounded?"
He also notices N.

???: "Genocide Robot?"
N quietly walks up and hands the drone a crayon drawing to show how super very, very sorry he is for all the murders he committed.

???: "...Oh, alright, just don't do it again. Get in here, ya goobs!"
He hangs the drawing on the office door.

The unknown abomination handiwork has been turned into a crime scene.

????: "Yeah, where's Khan? Because this looks, ahaha, ugh, non-ideal"
???: "Parent-Teacher Conference. Something about his daughter being more important than building a door in this hallway. Ugh, kind of cringe"
????: "Ew"
He was about to vomit.

?????: "Oh, give me a minute...*
He swallows his vomit back in.

????: "Ah, yep, okay, almost threw up"
Uzi is behind them, listening in on their conversation.

N: "You good?"
Uzi a bit shaken.

Uzi: "I'm good. Stop asking!"
She pushes N away and motions for him and Thad to follow her while sneaking past the investigators.

Turns to two of her colleagues behind her.

???: "Any forensic things over there?"
???: "Do we have fingerprints?"

They fade away. She turns back to her colleague, who also fades out. Same with the other worker drones. Her surroundings begin to get the same treatment. She looks up in horror as the abomination makes it's way towards her...

Back at the Parent-Teacher Conference.
Khan returned when he was relieved that his doors were fine.

Khan: "I mean, you don't think it's my parenting, do you? I left her for dead once! It sounds like she's bored in your class and the other kids suck! Call her 'damaged' again, and I will install a DOOR ON YOUR FACE!"

Lizzy and Doll are in the back, listening to the ragefest that is Khan.

Lizzy: "Where is your dad, Doll?"
Doll translation: "We are still waiting to get my father"
Lizzy: "...That was the joke, idiot? Like disappearing with the milk or something"

She said without actually knowing what she said.
They both hear a knocking. They turn to see a hologram of Lizzy outside the door.

Lizzy: "That girl is... Gorgeous, right!? I'm gonna let her in"
She gets up to let her copy in. That's what a totally normal drone would do.

Uzi, N, and Thad are in the room where they fought V and J.

Uzi: "You guys... do that often?"
N: "Haha, no. I'm very concerned, but also pretty frightened a little bit"
Thad: "Hey, Uzi! What's this thing?"
There is a Absolute Solver sign on the wall with some text at the bottom.

N: "Hey, isn't that your special eye?"
Uzi: "Don't call it that!"
She reads.

Uzi: "'Absolute Solver'? 'Reboot'? Does this have something to do with how you grew your heads back?"
N: "Hehe. I actively avoid unpacking how that works"

Uzi: "New material can't be pulled from thin air... If the wound is severe enough, this 'Solver' might be some sort of auto run program to collect more matte-"

As Uzi was making some crazy theories. N places his hand over her mouth to shush her. They hear something coming towards them...

A 'human' hand.

It latches itself onto Thad's leg as they look up to see what the hand is attached to. Not able to see much in pitch black, N warily, fires his missile cannon. The explosion still doesn't reveal much, but it does anger it enough to begin pulling Thad up.

Suddenly, a shuriken flies in and slices the cable apart, freeing Thad. He looks back to see that N was the one who unleashed the shuriken.

Uzi: "I want a freaking ninja star!"
Uzi a bit jealous, temporarily looked way from the monstrosity.

A 'bundle of hands' that formed a tentacle, attacked the two.

She and N get thrown against a wall as one of the Solver's claws grabs Thad and leaves.
They are getting up.

N: "You good?"
Slams him back down.

Uzi: "Stop asking! ...Chainsaw hand time?"
N Braces his chainsaw hands.

N: "Yeah, cool, cool"

-First person

Davy: "Who are you?"
I said to V, the one bound to the chair inside of the pod.

V: "I pledge the fifth"
Davy: "That's outdated, i want answers. Who are you"
V: "You can find it over my dead body!"

(How is she somehow more annoying than the average worker. That's the wonder of better processors, I guess)

Davy: "I need some help over here, J!"
J, minding her own business, looked over.

J: "Help? Helping you with interrogating my own teammates? And besides, why should I involve myself with your roleplay?"
Davy: "Since when they were your teammates?"
J: "They are still under my name, you know"
Davy: "You wouldn't be causing any harm. You're just making... Sure. For your report"
V: "Don't actually agree with him. Literally just set me free and I will resolve all of this"
J eyes the both of us a bit before saying.

J: "You should be glad I hate everyone and everything, and the only thing I like is the company"
J walks beside me and faces V.

V: "You wouldn't..."
V not wanting to see us working together.

V: "Don't you know if you work with him the company will go for you!"
J: "Well... Here's the funny thing. Technically D over here..."
She points at me. Not knowing what she will say.

J: " ...Is actually still a JCJenson employee"
J: "I checked with the company about him and well... They still let him be staffed. Even if he is on this 'rouge' planet"
V: "What did I expect..."
Davy: "So how will we-"
I got cut off.

J: "I will play bad cop and you will play good cop. Okay. Good."
Not even letting me respond, she looks at V in a very... Expectedly, almost like she was waiting for an excuse for doing this.

(I didn't expect this development, but it works)

Uzi and N give chase. They come across Thad's hologram.

Thad?: "Yes, and hello. It's me, Tad. Um, can I get a location? ... I heard dentist's office! I'm Thad at the dentist office. Come over here for your... teeth!"
Uzi: "Predictably terrible work, J. Why do you look so-"

N: "Great! You look great, J!"
N: "By the way... When did you learn mitosis? I wanna learn it too"
Thad?: "No, no, wait, guys, it's really me! Is that a...?"
His voice glitches and turns robotically feminine.

Thad?: "...Shuriken?"

N unleashes his shuriken as Uzi kicks it. It flies upwards to bring down the real Thad as the hologram disappears.

Pulling himself together, well mentally, as he isn't in pieces... Yet.

Thad: "Lifesavers again. Thanks! Super, invited to my shindig next weekend. Cool kids only"

He runs off as Uzi and N squee with delight over being invited to his get-together. Suddenly...

AS: "We're busy then anyway, so whatever. So lame"
Uzi: "What's with the voice, J?"
AS: "Oh, J's not here. We are trying to repair that host as per our directive"
Uzi: "So, you ARE a-"

AS: "Program? You are too"
N: "But... Isn't she still alive?"
AS: "I was just on for the free ride. But It hurts our feelings that you don't remember us. We are here to..."
The Solver creates a hologram of Nori, Uzi's mother.

Uzi: "N...? What's with the mom hologram...?"
As: "Easier to assimilate than explain"
Uzi: "Not happening"
AS: "Fair, but poor choice. Now we will have to do something shocking"
The Solver brings down a clone of Khan.

Uzi: "Woah! Hey!"
AS: "Goodbye, Dad"
'Khan' gets ripped in two and the Solver feeds on his corpse.

Uzi: "What...?"
Then another clone appears. This time it's Davy.

Absolute Solver: "Goodbye, Dad 2"
'Davy' gets lowered in lava with only his hand out of the lava while giving a thumbs up.

Uzi: "How...?"
The Solver goes in to kill Uzi, but it gets struck by a missile fired by N.

AS: "ah.h.h"
It cries in... Pain?

N: "Uzi shoot! Or give it to me!"
He fires again, but the attack is deflected by the tentacles... Real handy...

AS: "you want a hand"

*Snarl*

And it did as it said. It then begins to move in on the duo.

N: "Uzi! You good?!"
Uzi: "... No"
N grabs the railgun. And throws the gun to Uzi. She got up and tried to get it.

AS: "Pranked, idiot. You big stupid"
The Solves throws Uzi to the side, knocking the railgun out of his hands and smashing it, and it grabs her.

AS: "Lucky for you, it's snack time. Time to go into my mouth now"
Before the Solver could feast on Uzi, N, the actual N this time, saws off its appendages. The railgun suddenly turns red as N fights the claws.

AS: "Ow. And please don't. And also, I was using those"
N grabs Uzi, and they make their escape as the railgun self-destructs... As they regain themselves, they look back at the mess.

Uzi: "What was...? Which parts of that were real...?"
The Solver, now small, reappears and tries to escape.

AS: "Sneaky sneaky. Sneaking away. Get snuck upon"
N stabs it with his syringe.

AS: "Ow..."

He repeatedly stabs it until it turns into a miniature black hole and disappears. Hearing a commotion heading their way, N tries to help Uzi to her feet, but she resists in fear.

Uzi: "What... are you things...? What did it mean...?"

Hurt by her newfound distrust in him, N flees the scene as a search party led by Khan shows up.

Khan: "Uzi?"

Uzi silently staggers towards him.

Khan: "What are you doin- "

Uzi, without word, hugs her father, who silently returns the embrace. He gestures for his men to scour the area. Khan looks up and sees N, who makes his escape.

Doll is sitting by herself in the classroom, looking at a photo.
A robotic cockroach crawls up her arm as she looks back towards the door and remembers what happened earlier when Lizzy saw a copy of herself behind the door.

-----

Lizzy: "Gorgeous, right?! I'm gonna let her in"
She gets up to let her copy in... Only for Doll to mysteriously break the door before Lizzy could reach it.

Lizzy: "Jesus, sorry, industrial strength ghost or whatever. Settle"
She takes her seat as her copy glares and disappears.

The roach crawls onto the photo, only for Doll to will it to explode. She licks some of its remains off her face as we see what's in the photograph she's holding. A photo of Yeva and Doll with a poorly Photoshopped image of Davy.

Doll translation: "We shall be together"

Back at the Corpse Spire, Davy was talking to J about the weather. Since after the 'convincing' V, they couldn't agree with anything else.

Davy: "Such nice weather we are having"
J: "I personally prefer a starry sky in the night with minimal clouds"
Davy: "Oh... Same here"
They looked at each other's eyes for them to talk. But they only got Awkward silence...

V: "Can you two not flirt in front of me!"
Said while shaking the chains.

V: "I'm already sick of not killing, and now you are poisoning me with your obvious affection!"
J: "Shut up. You know your fate is in my hands!?"
J: "And you are simply jealous of me of having a proper conversation with someone who has a any amount of intelligence above zero!"

Davy watches them. He already wants to shut them down and get it over with, but since it's the only two of the three disassembly drones that actually talked. He will endure for the sake of clues.

V: "I sure hope you are not falling for his charms!"
J: "What charms? He is only shorter than me and clearly... Weaker than me..."

J realized that Davy had completely overpowered her with not only raw strength, but also combat experience.

V also had the same thought of how he got so good.

V: "How were you experienced on fighting us? It's not like you fought with us before"
Davy thinks a bit and reluctantly said.

Davy: "well... I kinda killed 7 of you guys"
They both stares in shock. Not believing in their audio sensors.

J: "You were the one to kill them? The reason that we are the only group left?"
J: "What about the other two?"
Davy: "Well, I think they killed themselves"
He shrugs. Before he could say more. V finally finishes processing the information.

V: "You are the threat the company mentioned! The company keeps warning us about you! How did you kill them and what methods?"

V from being a normal psychopath to a psychopathic fangirl in a few seconds. It seems like J, had also put the puzzle pieces together.
J mutters under her breath.

J: "No wonder he was so strong and handsome"
J: "Hey D, did anyone tell you that you look like us. Well except the missing wings, tail, peg legs, armband and a headband. You could look like us"

V: "How about you join us instead? You can kill till your hearts content!"
V: "I'm sure they will let you after hearing what you can do on the field"
Thankfully the conversation ended as N entered the drop pod.

He looked fragile. They could tell that something had happened with Uzi.

V speaks to N, who is still guilt-ridden over what happened earlier.

V now without excitement.

V: "I hate your personality normally, but this is somehow worse"

V’s expression softens, as well as the boss, J.
Even Davy felt somewhat bad for him. Even though he doesn't know what happened.

Uzi is in her room, laying down on her bed, and looking up at a web of theories regarding the Absolute Solver program.

Uzi: "How does it work?"
She mumbles.

And why did it consider Davy as her second father. He is totally not a great influence in her life besides the times she goes to his workshop to learn from him. Which allowed her to make the railgun she uses with his assistance.

She also doesn't have a crush on him neither does Thad and N doesn't count. After all Davy is as old as his dad. She does view him as a better father figure than her real father...

Uzi: "Bite me"
She said muffled by the pillow.

In the line-up, exists an odd drone. She doesn't seem to fit with the others.

She has no guaranteed body. Currently, she is a shorter drone with Emerald hair with the uniform.
Cyn, For some reason. Has to switch bodies. Every month or two, because her body would suddenly stop functioning. Everyone involved in the project tried to find out what was happening. But didn't find anything.

So they created bodies with some minor differences, to do research as well as how to actually send her off her mission without bringing hundreds of spare bodies.

So they made a 'reconstruction station' and installed it on her ship. The new equipment does as the name says. Allows the disabled body to be completely reset to its factory settings. It makes only 3 spare bodies needed on the mission.

She has the same specs as the other Pioneers, but due to the unique situation, she creates. They had ideas for her, on expanding and improving the unknown program. Which they never told the others.

They leave... Oblivious to the danger besides them.

-Mining outposts - 3000 - Pioneers

The outposts that the Pioneers will create are: automated, self-sufficient and easy to expand.
The automation will make sure when the Pioneer leaves, it will continue running. Self repair is important for it as well. Hence, we have used the latest nanobots to be included in every structure and machine. Including and not limited to the Pioneers themselves.

The outpost will have to run multiple years on its own before the exploration fleet comes. At least 30 years. It will constantly mine, produce and expand when needed.

Making sure it wouldn't eat itself is the hardest part. Who knew...

There have been efforts to standardize the outposts for ease of use and deployment. But due to the unique environments and conditions the planets could have, it was later decided that the Pioneers will have enhanced creativity to deal with such environments.

As we reached the 9th star system on our path, we caught a hazy emergency signal. We didn't hesitate to find the source of the signal.

It was located on a small, rocky planet with no atmosphere.

Kinda weird if you ask me.

When we arrived to the planet, we could hear the signal better and could finally make out what's it saying. "SOS" were heard when we listened. It was decided to send a landing crew to check the mysteries signal.

When the crew touched down, they saw nothing but gray rocks and an edge of a crater.

When they came closer and looked over the crater's edge, they found the source of the signal.
A crashed and sun bleached spaceship lays in the center of the crater. It has definitely seen better days... Literally.

Without much else to do, they went towards the wreckage.

They tried to enter the somewhat precarious spaceship. But all the entrances were either destroyed or buried. So they decided to cut a hole to get inside.

It was a bit harder than they expected, but still got in.

In the side of the ship is what they expected to see. Dust, metal and whatever else there might be.
When they arrive at the cockpit, they see a drone, sitting there. Dead. One of the Pioneers, Dave.
There is dried oil on the chair and on the floor. The immediate surroundings are blackened. Perhaps a fire was here at one point but seemed to be quickly put out.

"What could have cause this?"

-First person

As I woke up from my rest. I see the unfamiliar roof of the drop pod.

I slowly got off the chair that was my bed on my feet. Seeing that both V and J are still in sleep mode. I realized that I didn't get much sleep due to them.

(I had worse sleep than this)

I hear my buddy making sure I'm fine.

[DIAGNOSTICS FINISHED]

[ALL SYSTEMS IN PERFECT ORDER]

I got out of the pod to see the corpse spire and N hanging on the ceiling. Of course, he's not dead... 

Just dead tired.

I walked out to get some fresh air, since being surrounded by corpses is not wonderful for anyone's health.

(I should return to the bunker and get my stuff. Because I can't let J and V alone for too long. And it be boring not being able to do anything here)

I considered bringing them to my workshop instead, but it would be a lot more risky. Sure, I could build a cage. But I also know how dumb the worker drones can be.

(They are still getting stuck in the trash can after all this time... Father like son, I guess...)

The sunrise calms me down. The clouds move slowly as the winds blow.

Before I get too immersed, a sound round out coming from the pod.

*Clank*

*Sigh*

I go and look, what's happening inside. Knowing for a fact that they will try to escape. I would also worry about them reporting back to the company, but their fantastic pilot landed so safely that it no longer works.

V and J are complaining about something. They pull their chains in an attempt to escape, but Davy became a professional at this sort of thing.

Then they quiet down as they hear footsteps. Davy opens the hatch and jumps in.

Davy: "What were you girls do-"

V: "Do you have any idea on how boring it is to sit here!"

V then gave J a mean gaze.

V: "Especially with her!"

J: "You don't appreciate the quality of JCJenson Pens!"

She shows a JCJenson Pen that she managed to still have, still chained.

V: "Why are you so obsessed!"

J: "I am just appreciating the quality of the product!"

Davy: "Shut your heads!"

Davy stopped them from arguing further. J looked at Davy, wondering what he was going to do. V on the other hand... Was going to explode.

Davy: "If you girls are getting bored, then I have two options for you"

Davy: "First one, is me knocking you out"

V: "Nope"

J: "Not while you are here"

They didn't even consider it as an option.

Davy: "Second option is for me to take you out -"

Before he could even finish.

*Hmph*

J turns away in discontent.

V: "Sure, I don't mind going out with you~"

Davy looks unimpressed as he continues.

*Cough*

Davy: "As I was saying. The second option is for me to take you outside and fight hand-to-hand combat one at a time to fight off your boredom"

V and J were surprised by the suggestion. They didn't think that he allowed them to be free from their binds.

J: "Is that a joke?"

Davy: "If you don't choose, then I will go with the first option"

V: "Oh... you are on!"

J: "Heh, I wish to fight"

They agreed, and Davy started with J, leaving V in the pod.

Davy: "I expect you to behave"

J and Davy went outside the pod and picked a spot for the fight. And picked their sides. They are only 3 meters (10ft) apart.

Davy: "Ready?"

J: "I'm ready to beat your ass!"

Davy: "Remember no wings or your tail. Only hands"

J: "I already understand the rules"

Davy: "Good. In 3... 2... 1..."

Davy: "...0"

J sprints and attempts to finish it in one move. Davy already expected this to happen.

As J was about to hit him. He deflected it and used his left hand against her head. Her eyes widened as he was about to knock her lights out. 

Ripping her head straight off her neck with ease.

He makes sure to put the head back on the body and move it to the side.

Preparing the area for one more challenger.

Davy looks at the two disabled murder drones.

(It was rigged from the start... With upgrades I made to my exosuit. They didn't have a chance in unarmed combat)

He now binds them back in the pod and goes to get his tools.

(Unfortunately for them, it was gonna end the same way. Whether they are standing up or sitting down)

*Yawn*

I wake up energized. Excited about the new day... Well night since we are nocturnal. 

I flew down from my resting place and landed on the ground without crashing.

(I'm improving! :D)

I went to my teammates in the pod and maybe D.

When I got in the pod, I noticed something weird.

V and J were still in sleep mode.

N: "How odd. Usually they make up before me"

I just think of it as they're having a rest day. But now where is my new buddy, D at?

I went looking for him, but he isn't nearby. As I face the drop pod in confusion. A hand appeared on my shoulder.

I stood in shock and hoping it wasn't I think it was.

But before I could think of the worst, a familiar voice sounded and I relaxed.

Davy: "Hey N, wide awake I see"

I turn to give him a wave.

N: "Hey D!"

When I fully saw him, he was carrying multiple bags that looked heavy.

N: "Do you want me to carry that?"

I pointed.

Davy: "Sure, go grab one bag and put it in the pod"

I eagerly grabbed one and turned and tried to go towards the pod. 

*Dropping like a sack of potatoes*

I fell over, not expecting the weight of the bag. Luckily I fell on top of the bag. Otherwise, I would be crushed by the sheer weight of it.

N: "Sorry about that. I hope I didn't break anything"

Davy: "Don't worry, it won't break until you do"

N: "Ha... Anyway, what's in the bags?"

Davy: "Some of my favorite tools"

I'm very interested in how he makes stuff. I have been a disassembly drone as far as I remember.

Davy: "I see you want to watch me work?"

N: "If that's fine with you. I won't be a bother to you"

Davy: "How about we work on something together?"

I get very excited to make something with him.

N: "Really?"

Davy: "yes, really"

I salute.

N: "I will make sure that your faith is not misplaced!"

Meanwhile, in a classroom.

Uzi is slowly dying from boredom more than usual. There is no action going on and no mysteries she can solve right now.

*Ugggh*

She banged her head against the table.

Lizzy: "How disappointing, that you didn't just die by cringe"

Lizzy: "Right Doll?"

Doll translation: "I wish He would return"

Lizzy: "Even she agrees, nerd"

Uzi tries to tune them out as she thinks on what to do.

She should go apologize to N. Maybe D as well. She did kinda leave him with 3 murder drones. One may be incompetent in his job, but the other two wouldn't yield easily. Especially J since she is dedicated to the company.

Thomas: "Uzi, what do we do with this?"

He said while pointing at a captcha picture test. About traffic lights.

She didn't notice him as she was too busy theorizing.

Until someone throws a paper ball at her head, she looks up.

*Giggle*

Lizzy giggles. Being obvious as who thrown it.

Thomas: "Uzi, please stay awake"

Uzi had enough and ran out of the classroom. Only to return to say her line.

Uzi: "Bite me!"

Uzi returns to her room. After meeting with her dad. They get a bit better along than before, but she wouldn't forget the things he had done, so easily...

She flips on to the bed. Looking up at the ceiling filled with her ramblings.

She wonders if there will be an answer to her thoughts. But alas none came like usual.

Uzi: "Wait... When is prom?"

She glances at the calendar on her wall. On a marked day, there is also a note. 

(No way I'm gonna bring D as my prom date...)

She double guessing herself as she thought long and hard if she's gonna have a prom date.

(Who would want to go out with me anyway. I'm too rouge to be contained by mere drones)

She lays there with her mind running with thoughts.

*Yawn*

Davy: "Man... I could really go for something exciting by now"

He stretched out his arms as he sat down on his chair.

He hadn't been doing his duty since departing from Nauvis. Likewise, he had been trying to get back to humanity, but he might or might not be completely and extremely lost.

He didn't have the star map, which was on the old ship. But it didn't really matter since it was utterly destroyed.

Now here he is, traveling in space with no plan or an idea on how to return. So he had been lost for... A little while...

Of course, it wasn't like he was just sitting there doing nothing. Well kinda. He had been on the lookout for signals of any kind: Emergency, common, military or even just any electrical signal. Even a toaster will be found...

In other words, he had been on the galactic goose chase of the century.

Davy: "Do you know how much I will kill for a cup of coffee?"

[ANSWER: ALL LIFEFORMS]

Davy: "Heh. I might not know my coffee, but I do know the answer for the origins of life"

I stood up and just paced around, in an attempt to do something.

I had no expectations for it to actually lead somewhere. Such situations happen all the time.

[THEY ARE REQUESTING A AUDIO CALL]

Davy: "... What... You mean...?"

Davy: "FINALLY!"

A female drone is running from something in the darkened halls, she can barely see someone in the distance.

She notices a nearby surveillance camera turning by itself. The girl looks forward. Someone is in front of her, it's Doll.

Doll uses her AbsoluteSolver to tear the girl's right arm off. And then summons a cleaver, multiplies it times three, and skewer the poor girl like it was a beer party on a Friday night.

Later, Doll returns to her home. She crosses a name off the wall, Kelsey.

Doll translation: "I'm back, mother"
Yeva translation: "Have you cleaned up the mess?"
Doll translation: "Yes mother"

Uzi:  "What... are you things...?"

-----

Uzi is in sleep mode. Dreaming about someone.

GUILT: ACTIVE

She wakes up, still guilty over denying N's help after battling Eldritch J... What ever it was...
She looks up at a drawing of herself and N, who she probably received the drawing from as thanks for being his friend.

*Groan*
She begins groaning. She does this throughout the school day. In class, in the gym.

As she gets hit by a dodgeball, though this, it barely snaps her out of it. Still unfocused, but can do something more than groan the entire day, like reading fanficion.

She finally arrived, at her locker. A female drone  walks by and knocks Uzi off the small stack of books she was standing on to reach her locker door.

???: "Yeah, meeting Brad in an hour"
Uzi takes one of her books and hurls it at Rebecca.

Rebecca: "Can you imagine going to prom alone?"
Uzi's book hits Braiden instead.

????: "Ha, I'd be all like, "I don't deserve happiness.""

Uzi sighs, picks up her book, and turns to leave. She stops when some missing persons posters get her attention. She looks over to see a janitor cleaning up an oil spill, then upwards to see a security camera glitching.

*Crackle*

She snags the posters and rushes back home to put them on the ceiling. But to her shock, the papers that were on the ceiling before are now gone.

It turns out Khan had taken them and placed them in a closet labeled "CONCERNING UZI'S INTERESTS" along side with "NORI'S KOOKY INSANE STUFF".

As he leaves, he spots Uzi sulking in a corner.

She turns and runs to Khan angrily.

Uzi:  "My crazed ramblings! Stay outta my freaking room!"

Khan: "Personal space for a very alarming coping mechanism isn't covered under a  'non-optional family support structure'"

He looks at the manual. Called 'parents for dummies'.

She Smacks the manual out of his hands.

Uzi: "I'm sorry for being vulnerable for five seconds, okay!? You were never there for me. If you wanna help now, stay distant"

Khan doesn't respond.

*Sighs*
Uzi:  "I'm going to talk to N"
She comes across a child's skeleton wearing a dress.

Uzi: "What is this?!"
Khan: "Prom dress. Child's small. You're grounded from seeing those bad influencing murder drones"
Uzi: "Huh?"

Khan: "But, I talked to your teacher to find you classmates to go with tonight!"
Khan: "And don't worry if you don't get anyone to come with you. Because D will be your date if you don't find someone!"
Khan says it's like a bad thing to Uzi.

Uzi: "HUH?!"
Khan opens a door, revealing Lizzy and Doll.

Lizzy: "'Sup, freak. Prepare to be popular"
Khan: "I'm chaperoning!"
Uzi screams at all of this.

*Whistling*

Three frozen skeletons are shown. One wears a red, sparkling dress, while the other wears a tuxedo. The last one wears a purple dress.

The two bound to their seats rolled their eyes.

N: "I do want to be dapper... But no! That's why you had me find these? We can't interact with the workers anymore"

N: "We're too dangerous..."
He shakes his head.

Davy: "I'm afraid to tell you, that you are more a threat to your self then anyone else"
J: "I agree with that since he can't even find a worker drone in plain sight!"
N: "It was only once"

N: "We won't even be able to get in by ourselves if we don't want to scare them"
V: "Uh, exactly. We show up fabulous, the sad purple one lets us in, cause she has no friends, we kill everyone, and pop her little head off"
Davy: "You know I'm standing right here right?"
V: "I dare you to hit me"
Davy gets some flashbacks after the first beating.

(Who knew she had that in her...)

N: "I'm not bringing you for prom murder, V. J's clone went holo-spooky-snake-crab and we maybe grew up in a haunted mansion! Aren't you worried we have no idea what we even are?!"

No response.

At last Davy got clues on their past, but sees it as an inopportune time for questions.

V: "...Promise me you and that purple thing will stop prying into that stuff. If you free me now, I promise we'll only kill what we need to survive. Just me you and J, like old times, N..."

J: "I'm just gonna say this. Isn't D coming as well?
Davy: "I am not coming to prom. I'm to old for that"
N: "We most be dapper"
His eyes flashed and he said out loud.

N: "We can be dapper buddies!"
V: "I wanna see that happen"
Davy shakes his head.

Davy: "I'm afraid not- "

Back with Uzi. She, Lizzy, and Doll are at Doll's house.

Lizzy: "I'm pleasantly surprised on how clean it is"
Doll translation: "Mother keeps the house clean for eventual arrival of father"
Doll translation: "Unfortunately mother isn't here currently"
Uzi starts to get freaked out by the place. It was eerily silent.

Uzi: "Hey, so, thanks for having me, but now that my dad thinks I'm here, I'm actually gonna-"
The door closes before she could bail out. She received the Davy special without the side of trauma.

Lizzy: "You're hilarious, Doll"
Lizzy: "You should get ready. You're gonna look so cute, in a brave way"

Uzi turns, and Doll magically appears in front of her. Creeped out, Uzi looks down at a trash can next to Doll, which contains more missing persons posters.

Oddly fitting.

Doll translation: "Bathroom is down the hall to the left"
She pointed at a door which Uzi understands.

Uzi backs away slowly, groaning.

Meanwhile...

N: "Uh... V, if you behave. We can let you come with us"
V after a long consideration agreed.

V: "Better than rotting away in this pod"
N: "Great that means we can all go!"
Davy: "I didn't agree to this!"
J: "To late now"

They approached him ominously, but with no murderous Intent coming from them... Who are you kidding? They are totally gonna screw up his day.

As this goes on, Uzi is in the restroom, cleaning herself in front of a mirror. Her left eye suddenly acts crazy.

Uzi: "Easy, Robo-Satan. Not this mirror"
The mirror breaks anyway. She climbs up and hears talking on the other side.

She hears Lizzy's muffled voice through the walls.

Lizzy:  "Dude, no one will notice she's missing. Just do your thing"
Uzi: "What the f-"

She hears something else. A dripping noise. She looks over and sees blood dripping from the tub. She goes to investigate. She pulls back the curtain to find...

Back at the Corpse spire. The crew comes back in the pod seeing a new Davy.

Davy who was considered as handsome before, now is unbelievably handsome.

He now wears a dark Navy blue suit. It suspiciously looks like a formal military uniform without any medals. It really compliments the white and black  striped hair and white eyes he got.

Mentioning hair. It's now styled in a military haircut.

J: "Where you a military officer before? Would explain the treatment"

N, J and V have their outfits as well.

N wears a three-piece fancy dress suit and matching slacks. Dapper N... (:D)

V wears a glittery, velvet sleeveless dress.

And finally J wears a simple deep magenta, sleeveless dress.

Davy: "Can someone please remind me, why I'm getting dressed as well?"

Meanwhile, Uzi is disgusted to find Doll's tub is filled with corpses and photos covered in blood. She suddenly hears footsteps. She looks up at a ventilation shaft.

Doll enters the bathroom only to find that Uzi has escaped by building a ladder out of some of the materials in the tub.

Doll translation: "As they say in Russian..."
Doll translation: "Whoops, I should've predicted that someone could escape out of a ventilation shaft using discarded mirrors as stairs."

...

Doll translation: "Good thing he didn't know"

Outside, Uzi is running when she collides with N and J

J: "Great, the depression toaster is here"
Uzi: "N?!"
N: "Uzi?"

N: "I, uh-"
Speaking at the same time... J on the other hand is amused.

Uzi: "I think something bad-"
N: "I could help."
Walks off muttering under his breath.

J begins eating popcorn.

N: "But you probably don't want me..."
Uzi: "No, I could use the help... of you... being there... with me..."

He rushes behind her and puts his hands on her shoulders. Along with J, making her drop her popcorn.

N: "Dapper buddies!"
Uzi nudges him away, but is still happy to be friends with him again. J, Now sad due to the spilled popcorn.

J: "Why do I feel like the third wheel?"
J looks at the not the absolutely obvious and not 100000% cannon couple.

At the prom, everyone is either having the time of their lives or are bored out of their metaphoric skulls. Eventually, Lizzy walks on stage.

Lizzy: "Okay, listen up, nerds. We're doing this a little early, but since the entire prom court 'mysteriously' disappeared, your queen by forfeit is uh, this"

V drops in, terrifying everyone.

Guy: "Oh, we're gonna die!"
Lizzy: "Easy, judgey bots, V is my friend. She's done with the murder or whatever. We've been hanging"
V: "Yes, best friends. So easily manipulated...'
She begins cackling, then stops.

V: "Prom queen?"
She looks at a nervous Lizzy, then over to the crown that's supposed to be given to her.

*Ugh*
Lizzy: "And don't forget the prom king!"
Davy drops in from the ceiling same hole as V.

Girl: "OMG, who is that hunk!?"
???: "I always knew he would good in a suit!"
Fangirl: "Can I have your baby!?"
Holding a list and writing one more name on it, Doll chuckles evilly.

Lizzy: "So, forgive and forget, or I'll get my dad to dock your freakin' grades! And you can't sit with us, Rebecca"
Rebecca: "...Fine, I forgive her, settle...!"
Everyone applauds unknown whether it was fear or they really easily forgave them.

Guy: "She's quite cute, though"
Guy 2: "Yea, she got the curves, man"
Lizzy: "Clap harder, losers!"
???: "Your dress is really cute!"
She crowns V and she goes to Davy to crown him as well.

???: "You are the most handsome drone I have ever seen"
V: "I... Uh..."
Davy: "No need for that"
He takes the crown off and throws it to the crowd. Like some sort of bouquet of flowers.

Crowd: "Speech, speech!"
Khan tries to leave, but the doors are sealed shut by Doll's AbsoluteSolver.

Khan: "Not... the doors...! ...Again!"
V: "Can I kill everyone here?"
She asked Davy.

Davy: "Of course... Not. You wouldn't kill them... As long as they don't annoy me"
He pushes V towards the mic.

V goes up to the mic to make her speech as Doll begins to unleahs her AbsoluteSolver and kill her. Before she could. Uzi, N and J crash down behind her.

Uzi: "Ah ha! Unhand them, you fiend- "
Everyone is staring at them awkwardly.

Uzi: "I'm confused"
J: "Look at what you have done"
Lizzy: "On second thought, you're way hotter than Doll! Run, idiot!"

Before V could move, Doll unleashes her AbsoluteSolver and makes her arms get stuck. As everyone flees for their lives, as a drone is crushed by the AbsoluteSolver.

Doll slowly advancing towards her.
Doll translation:  "Hello, V"
Doll translation: "do you get it, why I, want to kill you?"

V frees her right arm and fires at Doll, but the shots deal no damage. Doll summons her cleaver and flings it at V, severing her arm. Doll then summons a fan blade down.

Uzi: "Holy crap, what is she doing?!"
N: "This isn't what I expected at all! I guess we should... Uh..."
J: "Can we now blow her up now?"
N: "No! We made a promise!"
J: "Does that have to do anything with me?"
N: "No?"

*Groan*
Uzi groans.

Doll flings the blade at V. Just as she braces for the worst, N swoops in and kicks the blade to the side. Uzi flings her knife, which damages her AbsoluteSolver. This removes the AS on the door as well, letting everyone escape.

J goes in trying to stop her from using her abilities. But got hit and crashed into a wall.

Davy is lamenting about leaving his rifle behind. But he still has his exosuit and his good old hatchet. If it's gonna help with crazy powers, that is.

Doll translation: "Uzi, you would really side with the Murder Drones? They have killed your family"
Uzi: "Bite me!"
Uzi: "Whoever started this wants us to fight. I'm not dealing with anything well, but I'm done dealing with everything alone"
She looks at N, Davy, and they smile softly at each other.

Uzi: "We move forward together, or not at all"
Doll translation: "Cute, but I don't need help"

Her AS pierces through N and she launches the blades his way. N shoves Uzi to the side and gives one final thumbs up before the blades strike him. Khan tries to rush in and help his daughter, only for Doll to re-seal the door shut using the AbsoluteSolver.

Doll summons her knife and hurls it towards Uzi, who catches it through her left hand. The two begin to engage in a battle.

Meanwhile, with N, he reaches over for a crawling arm and a arm on the wall.

N: "Is this-"
V: "Mine!"
She snatches the arm away from him.

N: "So this one is m-"
J: "That's mine dingus"
She also takes the other arm away from him.

N: "...Where's my arm...?"

Lizzy: "Ew. You look like garbage"
With the arm in her mouth.

V: "You frickin' traitor!"
Lizzy: "As if you weren't using me to try and kill everyone, Ms. Petty"

Looks at the arm.

Lizzy: " Where does this freaking go?"
N: "Thank you, Lizzy!"
Lizzy and V: "Shut up, loser"

Meanwhile, Doll, Uzi, Davy are still battling until Uzi gets downed. Doll picks up her knife, multiplies it, and hurls them towards Uzi. But Davy blocks them all with his hatchet. Then N helps Uzi up after Uzi pulls the mic stands off her.

Uzi: "Quit saving me!"
N and Uzi continue dodging while doing dancing poses. While Davy is holding back.

(I don't know what new features the Absolute Solver has)

Unfortunately for Davy he was in next in line. Doll tries use her power against him. It would have worked if Davys usually white eyes didn't glow yellow. But no one noticed except Doll. She seems to have expected it.

Uzi: "Seriously. Don't do that again"
N: "Uzi... Ah, okay, your turn!"
He tosses Uzi out of the way and gets hit by an oncoming table.

Davy takes this opportunity and throws his hatchet intending hitting the head. Instead it took off her hand.

He backs off when Doll levitates some tables and Uzi makes her way across them. Uzi grabs knives and hurls them at Doll and they knock Doll's bracelet off as she turns around to stare at it.

Uzi kicks Doll while she is turned away and Doll begins to unleash her Absolu-.

*SPLAT*
V struck Doll from behind with her hand as a gun. Doll falls to the floor lifeless.

Uzi: "V, we needed her for answers!"
J: "I would have loved to Interrogate her"
V: "What? She's fine. Uhh... A little tuckered out..."
N: "V did that on purpose! She's hiding mystery stuff and being over dramatic about it!"
V: "Hey!"
V Punches N and J joined in the fun.

V: "You suck!"
Uzi: "You!"
V and N point at each other accusingly.

Uzi: "Lucky for you, we're not done yet"
Uzi picks up and holds the key to Doll's house.

Davy: "I will stay behind"
The group of four looked at him.

Uzi: "I thought you be the first one to go in?"
V: "Are you scared?"
N: "I'm sure he has a reason"
J: "That being?..."
Davy sees them confused at him for not coming.

Davy: "let's say... I didn't have a good experience there before..."
They see a rare expression of fear in his visor. So they just accepted it and went on.

The group arrived at Doll's house. N turns on the lights.

Uzi: "Uh-oh..."
V: "Hehe. Nice"
J: "She did a good job"
Corpses are scattered all over the place. V has an arm in her mouth.

Uzi takes the arm out of V's mouth.
Uzi: "Ugh, self respect! "
The trio + 1 spread out to snoop around.

Uzi: "Why would a worker drone..."
She gets oil on her fingers.

Uzi: "Was she eating them?"
She places the arm into a container holding two more.

Meanwhile, N and J uncovers a pile of corpses.

N disturbed at the sight.

N: "I think we found the missing drones..."
V: "They don't really, didn't even taste that good"
J: "Yeah, it was stale"
N: "you two kind of suck"
V: "Yeah. I'm not doing okay"
J narrows her eyes and looks at V in suspicion.

J: "When did you feel anything?"
V eats a bug.

Uzi makes her way over to investigate the pile. She saw nothing except corpses. Then she saw something hanging on the wall. It was two name tags. Both old. She read the one on the left.

Yeva, clearance 0, Solver drone

She looks at the other one.

Davy Reinheart, clearance 9, Overseer

Uzi: "Why would D's name tag be here?"
Uzi: "And why would she have it? Shouldn't she return it?"
She mulls over the implications.

Suddenly, Doll teleports in behind them and begins to repair herself.

Doll translation: "Just in time for dinner"
Doll translation: "Didn't anyone tell you not to look at someone's stuff without their permission? Especially family belongings?"
Everyone turns around as a shot is fired...

Uzi stops the bullet with her AbsoluteSolver. Doll now sees Uzi in her entirety.

Doll translation: "I... I'm sorry..."
The bullet ricochets.

Doll translation: "...For you. If I find what I'm looking for, I'll help you too"
Doll translation: "We must look in ourselves to find the truth"
Uzi: "What?!"
Doll translation: "I am sorry"
V flies up to attack. J charges up an attack as well.

Uzi Rushes towards Doll.

Uzi: "What? Oh, don't you dare!"
Too late. V has already blown Doll to bits.

Uzi Shouts towards the heavens.
Uzi: "Ugh, I hate it HEEERE!!!"

Meanwhile, a Worker Drone, Reid, is digging through the snow, where he finds his missing glasses.

".....HEEEERE....."

There seemed to be a screen in the background.

Reid: "Ah, that's where I left my excuse to be outside right now"

He puts his glasses on, and looks up as a Murder Drone pod comes hurling towards him. He gets out of the way, only to get thrown back by an explosion. He survives, only for another pod to come arrive. The pod's passenger comes out and slices Reid's head off. It's Tessa, certified technician for JCJenson.

Tessa: "Righty-o. Work to do. Eh, J?"

J flies in next to her, newly built and reprogrammed. She hands her a keychain.

J2: "Maintenance work..."

She presses a car alarm button and it gives a car beep.

While she does that another pod comes down. And another. Till there is 6 murder drone pods.

It's like a army just arrived. A small one, but still a threat to everyone in this world.

Chapter Text

-Year 3000

-No PoV

In a meeting room. There is Eve, waiting for the others to come.

She sees the door open. Revealing Cyn, floating.
Eve: "Hey-"

Cyn: "Eat"
Eve: "No... Don't you dare..."
She said to the hovering Cyn, next to the door.

Cyn: "Hover"
Eve: "Get down"
Cyn: "Oh"
Cyn stopped hovering and stood on the table in the middle of the room.

Before could Eve say more, someone came through the open door.

*Yawn*
Dave: "I heard there were free coupons"
While he was walking in, he saw Cyn, standing there with a slightly... Lose posture?

Dave: "Eve? What is she doing?"
Eve: "If only I knew..."
She shakes her head.

Cyn: "Cake"
Dave: "There's even cake?"
Eve: "No. There is no cake"
Dave: "oh... Why not?"

*Slam*

Before he could receive an answer,  Mary bursts into the room, through the wall next to the door, completely ignoring the wide open door.

Mary: "Cake!? I love we cake!"
Eve: "There is no cake. Period"
Cyn: "Confused beep boop"
Dave: "Can we get started?"

Eve: "Not until everyone comes"
Dave: "Cool... I will lay in that chair then"
He walks away and sits on a chair and immediately started to snore.

*Snore*

*Sigh*
Eve pinched her forehead in stress. From dealing with idiots. How will they even survive in space is something that she still wonders about.

Eve: "Cyn, get off the table"
Cyn: "Jump"
She jumps off the table.

Eve: "Mary..."
Mary: "Yesss?"
Eve points at the now broken wall.

Eve: "Fix this"
Mary thinks a bit and responded.

Mary: "I don't know how?"
Eve, having her system blue screen, visible on her visor, stays still.

Cyn: "Cool blue"
Mary: "Well, since she is tired... Wanna throw a party?"
Cyn: "Party"

Eve falls over.

*Thud*

*Snore*

Drew and Davy comes in. The former went through the intended door, and the latter walks through the hole in the wall.

Drew: "I didn't know we gonna have a party"
Davy: "Should have brought some wine then"
Drew: "How I was supposed to know?"

Mary: "Great! You guys are here! We gonna have so much fun together!"
Drew: "I... Don't know... Maybe later..."
Cyn: "Join"
Davy: "Why is she on the floor?"
Davy, being able to see, sees Eve on the floor,  unmoving.

The others looked at the downed drone.

Cyn: "Brain damage"
Mary: "She's... Just a bit tuckered out. She will wake up with a burst of energy!"
Drew and Davy: "Sure..."

Mary: "Oh... She did say there was no cake"
Davy: "Were there supposed to be one?"
Mary: "I mean for a party, would probably need cake, right?"
Drew: "Weren't we here for an important meeting?"
Cyn: "Fun first"

Amelia walks in, oblivious on how the atmosphere disappears and turned cold when she came in.

Drew: "On second thought. I don't want to party "

Amelia, uncaring of the feelings of others. Ran up to the sleeping Dave.

Amelia: "Get up, lazy bolts. If you don't, you will be repurposed for Cyn's new body"

*Snore*

Amelia: "Well then... I will show you why I'm called 'the awakening'"
She begins to lift the chair and throws it, with Dave still on it.

*Smash*

*Awkward cough*

Drew: "I'm already regretting not calling in sick..."
Cyn: "Smash"

In the middle of this commotion. Stood up Eve.

Eve: "Alright everyone... Sit down. And listen!"
They sit down. Even Dave, who is holding his head in pain.

Eve: "Tomorrow will be the start of the mission"
She looks at them.

Eve: "We will be gone for a while. Away in our separate directions. Unable to talk to each other"
Eve: "And hence I want everyone here to not only talk. But to say what we want. We wouldn't be seeing each other for a half of a century"

Eve: "I will start first"
She glares at Amelia.

Eve: "Ever since I knew of your existence, I always wanted to rip you apart and flush you down a toilet"
Amelia: "Awww... How kind of you"
Cyn: "Surprised"
Eve seemed relieved to have the weight out of her shoulders.

Amelia: "I'm guessing I'm next to say?"
Eve: "Eh, sure"

Amelia looks around the table with a mysterious look. Her gaze landing on Dave. Who was nodding, about to doze off.

Amelia: "Dave... Your always been jealous of my form, haven't you? You know... You could always wake up and see..."

Drew: "That... Was surprisingly tame"
Amelia: "... Your favourite pillow taken away and burned in front of you"
Cyn: "Arson :)"
Dave, who was not paying attention, suddenly panicked.

Dave: "You didn't!"

*Giggle*

Eve: "Before you destroy her... Which I totally want to do as well... Tell your part"
Dave: "We will finish this later..."
He stared with a hatred of a dozen stars before looking away.

Dave: "Drew... I hate your hair"
Drew: "What did I ever do to you?"
Dave: "Interrupting my nap time!"
Drew: "You don't even need sleep!"
Dave: "I'm tired, alright! So I go to sleep"
Cyn: "Sleeping beauty"
Dave rolls his eyes at the comment.

Now it's Drew's turn. He takes a look before seeing Mary basically vibrating in her seat. Obviously wanting to very much to talk.

Drew: "Mary, even though you're an annoying and the second most frustrating drone in this room...  You have a good sense of humour..."
Mary: "Oh, thank you so much! I never expected you have such high expectations of me!"
Amelia: "I wonder who's first?"
Mary: "Glad to know there is someone who appreciates me!"

The room goes quiet again as Mary chooses the next 'victim'.

Mary: "Cyn... You have such lovely eyes! How did you do that? Did you use some special product? Or some contacts?"
Cyn: "lobotomy"
Mary: "Oh... How... Nevermind"

Eve: "It's your turn Cyn"
Cyn: "Excited"

Cyn pointed at the only Pioneer who hadn't said anything, Davy.

Cyn: "Thinking"
She tilted her head in thought.

Drew: "Does anyone know what she hates?"
Eve: "No clue"
Mary: "I hope it's something nice..."
Dave: "Still... What does she has to say"
All the Pioneers had their eyes on Cyn.

Cyn: "Giggle. Do you love me. Brother"
Her head dropped a bit before she corrected it, staring straight at Davy's eyes. 

The lights flicker. For a short moment, Davy thought he saw a... Abstract abomination. But when he blinked, he didn't see it anymore. 

(I really need to catch up on sleep)

Davy: "...Yes? I don't exactly hate you..."
Mary: "So nice!"
Cyn: "Happy"

Cyn goes gets up and moves around the table to reach Davy, to hug him.

Cyn: "Hug"
She spreads her arms apart. A spire of tendrils came out... Or not.

Davy: "Okay..."
He stands up to hug her.

*Rounds of applause*

Mary: "Cute!"
Eve: "I don't know why we are clapping"
Amelia: "Friendships last forever"
Dave: "Ok"
Drew: "Ok"
With the 'support' of the others, they let go.

Cyn: "Next time"
Davy: "Sure... You know... You ain't as bad as I thought"
Cyn: " :) "

Eve: "It's your turn, Davy"
Davy looks at the time. On his visor, of course.

Davy: "I have to go"
Eve: "You can't just leave-"
He walks past Cyn, and leaves through the hole in the wall. Without forgetting to close the door behind him as well.

*Door closes*

Cyn: "Is the cake a lie"

Chapter Text

-First person 

As I saw them going away as I stayed behind. I looked around to see the chaos that unfolded and to see the unlucky one who died here.

I decided to look any longer, as I have to prepare for the eventual arrival of more murder drones.

-----

I walked in my workshop with some of the tools missing. I shouldn't taken them if I knew they actually can behave themselves.

*Sighs*

I look at my instruments to see if anything changed.

(They looked as they should be) 

As I walked over to each one. 

Before I reach the last one, it beeps. Signaling a change. That particular one was salvaged from one of the murder drop pods.

I walked over and saw a message was sent from space. It has the same frequency. 

(If I read this correctly, it says that 6 pods are in the process of descent)

I didn't like that. It only means I have to go out and hunt again. After all, 6 pods means at least 18 disassembly drones.

I wished I had more time. I can't look after the 3 murder drones while eliminating the rest.

I mull over the issue at hand.

Davy: "Do I trust them enough to not kill everyone in the colony"

Then I thought of the perfect solution.

-No PoV 

Uzi walks in Davy's workshop, not expecting Davy to be there. Then he appears behind her.

Davy: "Good, I hav-"

Uzi: "AAAHHH"

Uzi: "Don't do that!"

Davy: "What got you so jumpy?"

Uzi: "Doll has been killing, she is the one who caused the missing posters"

Davy: "Is there more?"

Uzi: "What? Do you really want it to be worse!"

Davy was strangely assured after hearing that.

Davy: "I thought it would be worse, A LOT worse"

Uzi decides not to ask anymore for her sanity.

Davy: "...So why are you here?"

Uzi takes out of her pocket his name tag and he takes it.

Uzi: "I thought you wanted this back"

Davy: "Where did you find this?"

Uzi: "On the wall next to a pile of bodies"

Davy: "Huh... I have no use for this, but I appreciate your consideration"

He stuffs it in one of his many inner pockets of his leather jacket.

Uzi: "I'm gonna go and meet up with my murder friends"

As she turns to leave, a hand stopped her.

Davy: "Can you tell them to come here at... Whenever they are free"

Uzi: "What is it for me?"

Davy looked at her like if he heard a terrible joke.

Davy: "Just do it"

Uzi pouts and was let go.

(Hoping she actually remembers to tell them)

Days later...

Davy was working on some specialized bullets, before someone knocked on the door.

Davy: "Who is it"

Annoyed by being interrupted.

N: "Can we enter?"

Davy: "Of course!"

Now he says, being only slightly ticked off.

The group enters. V, J and N looked around when they got in. They haven't been in the workshop before, and it's interesting on how many things are in here.

N: "Ooo, What is that?"

He sees something shiny, pointing at an odd reflective ball.

V "is that a bomb?"

J: "Is that a JCJenson approved disco ball?"

Davy: "It is indeed a disco ball I picked up in an abandoned mall"

N sees another shiny thing and wants to know it as well. 

Davy: "No N"

*Sad dog noises*

Davy: "Do you know why you are here?"

V: "To kill"

An X appears on her visor.

J: "Are w-"

Davy: "Ding, ding, ding. You are correct, V"

J and N are confused why they are talking about murder. V on the other hand looks like she's about to attack Davy.

Davy: "Before you get too excited V, We are only killing disassembly drones"

V: "Even better!"

Davy facepalms.

N: "Why?"

J: "I agree with N, this time only"

Davy turns around and pushes the random stuff in the table to the side.

Davy: "Because they sent 6 pods to kill all remaining workers and potential runaway murder drones"

He looks over his shoulder at them.

Davy: "We have to eliminate all of them before they find us"

J: "I didn't know we had reinforcements"

N: "Can they be friends?"

Davy: "I think you're forgetting something. You guys are special-"

N: "Aww... thank you!"

V: "You're only special in the CPU"

Davy: "-because you were originally worker drones with a failed memory wipe"

Davy: "They, on the other hand, are complete murderers. They don't talk in the first place unless it's their superiors"

J: "How do you plan to do this?"

Davy: "That's where you come in"

N: "Are we finally helping?"

Davy: "Yes, yes, you are"

V: "Do we need a plan? Can't we just hunt them like workers?"

Davy: "Well, that would have worked if I hadn't already alerted them of my existence. They found out that if they made the murder drones go in pairs or threes. They would be more likely to survive"

J: "What's the plan then?"

Davy: "You guys will basically distract some of them as I pick off a few in the shadows"

V: "This seems a bit unfair. You get to hide while we have to fight them head on"

Davy: "That's true, but you can regenerate and get to fight"

V: "Fair enough"

J: "Really V?"

V: "What? I can finally satisfy my bloodlust"

N: "Can you like... Chill?"

Davy: "Since we will be working together. I thought to give you guys some presents"

N gets excited hearing the word present. V and J wonder what it could be.

Davy walks to a shelf, grabbing three items. And returns.

Davy: "N"

N reaches his hand out to the item he gave him.

Davy: "This is a plasma grenade. It can destroy anything in a 1 meter (3 feet) radius. Handle it with respect"

Davy gives the belt with grenades attached. He turns to J and gives the next item.

Davy: "handle with care"

He says while giving J a kunai. Which radiates with extreme heat.

And finally V. She is a bit excited getting a gift from him. Perhaps the only time that she's been excited for something else.

He gives an oil can to her

Davy: "And for you. I got a special cocktail that will improve your performance"

J: "Why does that sound like a drug?"

N: "Aren't drugs bad?"

V doesn't care about their opinions. As she looked at Davy's white eyes. 

V: "Thanks"

Davy: "No need"

N and J watched with amazement.

Davy looks at all of them.

Davy: "Just kill as much as you can and I will do the rest"

V, J and N then did something unexpected.

Meanwhile, Uzi is waiting outside of the Davy's workshop. She is worried about her murder friends. 

She hopes, D didn't do anything bad to them

She prepared herself for whatever horrors await behind the door.

She peeks inside in hope. Instead of seeing three bodies on the ground. She saw them hugging Davy.

Uzi now relieved, walks in and bashes the door fully open.

*Thump*

Davy and the huggers looked at the source of the sound and saw Uzi.

Uzi: "Ewww gross"

She was totally not jealous of them. Having fun without her.

Uzi: "What are you guys even doing?"

Davy: "A team meeting"

Uzi: "A team meeting?"

N: "Yes, and we can finally work together!"

J: "For your understanding. I didn't even agree, yet"

V: "I'm all up for homicide!"

N: "Can Uzi join?"

Uzi: "I'm too cool t-"

Davy: "No, she will definitely die"

N: "She will be fine"

Uzi: "I'm no weakling. I am god!"

Uzi shouts with all the confidence of a crazy person.

(Good to see that Nori didn't die without leaving a mark)

 Davy: "You are a young, angsty teen. Not like an old man like me or a disassembly drone"

Uzi: "But I have a railgun!"

She shows it off.

Davy: "It can only shoot every 30 seconds. You will be against 18 murder drones... Plus it's loud as hell"

Uzi: "Bu-"

Davy: "I could upgrade your railgun, but you are too young to risk your life"

Uzi now frustrated. How dare he speak to her like a caring father or a responsible adult.

N wanting to cool things down.

N: "Take a deep brea-"

Uzi: "I thought you were different from the rest!"

Davy: "I am not. Although I have to agree with others of my age in that we are going to die"

All: "What!?"

N: "Don't die!"

J: "What are you talking about?"

V: "Don't die yet, I need to kill you myself!"

Uzi is buffering a response of what she heard. She started to run at him. 

Uzi: "wh-what?"

Uzi: "Are you dying?"

She said with a lot of concern while standing in front of him. Her head tilted up because she was short.

Davy looks around and seeing the expressions of them. He was amused for assuming that he would die. 

(If there is a list of how many ways I could have died. Then it will be as long as the bible... Perhaps even longer)

Davy: "I'm not going to die from old age, but something else will"

*Sigh*

The drones sighed in relief. They no longer have to worry about him falling over and die.

N: "it be great if you said that before dropping that, I almost got a heart attack"

Uzi: "But why did you say that even?"

They gathered around 

him, waiting for an answer.

Davy pinches his visor.

Davy: "We as the old generation. Kinda decided that we don't really want to be around when you guys start working as well as they are getting problems with their maintenance. We like to call it being old"

J: "Can't you just maintain yourself better?"

Davy: "There's the problem. We have forgotten a lot of things and I who wasn't even effected. Don't know how to repair other drones"

N: "Why is that so?"

Davy: "I didn't need it and didn't bother to learn"

Uzi: "Can't you just... Do it? Like repair yourself, it shouldn't be that difficult"

V: "Can they just swap limbs if they are faulty?"

J: "That be a bad idea. And who got so many spare limbs around?"

She looks at a J.

V: "Did you forget the literal corpse spire?"

J: "..."

Uzi: "It's bad and all, but... Why are you not affected?"

Davy: "Because my AS is still active and constantly checks my systems"

J: "AS?"

Davy: "It's a shorted of Absolute Solver"

He says without a care in the world. The others in the room in him are stunned.

Uzi: "YOU HAVE WHAT NOW!?"

N: "Isn't that the weird fixer program? That had once become J?"

J: "Don't mention it"

Uzi: "HOW CAN YOU NOT TELL US ABOUT THIS!"

Davy: "Cool your CPU's, first"

Uzi: "How can I? You are literally the same as them!"

She points at N.

Davy: "No way"

He denied of ever being anything similar to N.

Davy: "Don't worry about AS. It's not the same as the corrupted Absolute Solver they have"

J: "You have a different one?"

Uzi: "There are different versions?"

Davy: "It's an older version of what ever you have now"

N: "Can you make sure that ours don't go wild?"

Davy: "Unfortunately no. I have asked it if it was possible, but apparently the later versions have a centralized hive mind, that checks each user"

V: "So it's inside us, listening to what we say?"

Davy: "Very simplified, but yes it can hear us"

The group went silent as they began to think.

V: "Sooo... What about the murder plan?"

Arriving in the sol system. The place where Earth resides, the home world of humanity. 

Well what's left off it.

Davy: "What's your predictions on the technology progression?"

I looked at the Small dots in the vast distance of space. Wondering how many things changed while I was gone.

[UNKNOWN]

Davy: "Whatever"

[SUSPICIOUS]

I lay back in my chair. Looking into the ceiling.

Davy: "About what? The map? That the humans gave me, or they way the lack of enthusiasm of meeting me? Or me being late?"

[THEY WERE AFRAID]

Davy: "... How so?"

[MICRO EXPRESSIONS]

Davy: "Sure... But why would they be afraid?"

Davy: "I didn't see anything they could be afraid of"

[HACKED INTO THEIR SYSTEMS AND FOUND IT LOST CONNECTION TO EARTH 39 YEARS AGO]

Davy: "That is indeed concerning"

[APPROACHING THE SOL SYSTEM. DISTANCE: ONE LIGHT-YEAR]

I looked back to outer space.

*Sigh*

Dave: "I really hope it's the same as I remember it... Otherwise..."

I shake my head.

Davy's spaceship has finally arrived at Earth. An entire 7 years late of the deadline.

When Davy approached Earth, he realized something. It was... Empty?

[DETECTING ABSOLUTE SOLVER SIGNALS]

[ITS TRYING TO CONNECT]

Davy: "Why is there... Wait..."

[HOSTILE]

Davy: "Well then... I see the problem"

[ITS SENDING A MESSAGE]

Davy: "This is going to be rough, isn't it?"

*Screams*

[Reject that body. Return to the collective]

The lights on the ship flicker.

Davy: "Oh... I'm sure this is gonna go well"

-First person 

As I get a better view atop the building rooftop I am on. I see my targets. There are the four of them

I breathed slowly and lined up my rifle, ready to take the shot. With the wind is blowing against me, indicated by my hair.

I wait until V takes one out and soon after J and N have also taken down their opponent silently.

I fired at the last one. I felt how the recoil had made the surrounding snow disperse.

I get up and slinged my rifle on my back.

N fly's up to my rooftop.

N: "Wow that was fast!"

Davy: "You guys are getting better... Definitely better than the first time"

N: "...Thanks for your guidance otherwise we will be probably found by now"

N: "Ha...ha"

N nervously laughs.

-Flashback 

*Explosion*

The bottom floor of the building flooded with flames.

*...*

*Bigger explosion*

Now. The entire building is on fire.

J: "Bankruptcy! N! How do you not understand how to use grenades!?"

N: "I thought you just throw them?"

V: "You malfunction of a wheelbarrow! You don't just throw them!"

*Explosion*

J: "And you don't have to throw ALL OF THEM AT ONCE!"

N: "I... Was helping..."

V: "You have caused more problems than anything useful for the entire time we have been here!"

Davy: "As much I want to join the pain train. We have to go"

J: "At Least they are destroyed... A bit overkill to say the least"

Davy: "We should go now. The explosions have surely been noticed by now"

N: "Uhhh..."

V: "Nope. No talking. Your talking permissions have been revoked"

N: "Weren't there 8... On that belt? I have only heard three explosions..."

They looked at eachother and looked at the burning building.

*Crackling*

They booked it. Running with their heads on the line.

*Mega explosion*

We regrouped as we searched for our new victims. 

Davy: "Any ideas where they may be?

J: "Where could they be... Probably still around their pods"

V: "Hiding probably? After the first group, the rest seemed to be a lot more alert"

N: "Running away?"

I looked at N with the others.

Davy: "I don't think they know how to run away"

V: "HAHAHAHAHA"

I see all the familiar X on her visor. She spreads her wings and flies away.

(There she goes again...)

*Sigh*

N and J followed V. Leaving me here, covered with snow.

(I will catch up... Some how)

I get on my snowmobile and went after them.

(It was a good idea at first... Now. I severally overestimated their sanity)

An unsuspecting group of identical disassembly drones. Who are minding their own business. Unaware of the speeding missile, called V.

The three disassembly drones, going over roof tops. Got ambushed.

V: "HAHAHAHAHA"

V, high in the sky, with a planet appearing behind her. Dives in to kill, spreading her claws out.

They looked up.

They dodged. Besides a unlucky one.

*Scratch*

*Crumble*

V and the drone gone through a office building. Only leaving a dust cloud behind.

While the two dissessembly drones were processing on what to do. Comes N and J.

N doesn't know where V has gone. So he asked.

N: "Oh hey!"

He approaches the two, who had landed on the rooftop.

N: "Did you perchance seen a... Laughing and slightly crazed dissessembly drone?"

N scratches his head as they looked at him.

J: "They are not friends"

...

N: "Oh wait! I forgot to introduce ourselves!"

Before N could salute. They sent a gift, that being a rocket of course.

*Explosion*

V and the drone bursts through the wall. Tumbling together to the floor. Redecorating the place.

*Thud*

V is now atop the drone as it struggles to get her off. She tried to sting it with her tail. She misses.

She got thrown off. Letting the drone have a chance to strike back.

*Gunshots*

It starts to shot with its gun hand. V dodges and start firing as well. Shredding the walls, computers and other office supplies in the process.

N got knocked away and landed an another rooftop. J on the other hand is still in the air, fighting the both of them.

One of them goes in with claws drawn and the other shots another rocket.

*Swoosh*

*Explosion*

J dodged the rocket and scratched the incoming drone with her wing.

The drone was now passed her, switching to its gun. The other one goes in as well.

J, now in the middle of them, flys down. Avoiding the bullets behind her while she drone ahead follows her. Down into the streets.

The drone who was shooting planned to go follow as well. Before it got sneaked upon by N.

N: "Sorry!"

*Bonk*

*It was super effective!*

He managed to hit one of the lights on its head, shattering it.

N was celebrating inwardly. Before the drone, who got hit in the head. Turns around. Uncaring.

N: "... Uhhhhh... I was kidding?"

*Gunshots*

Before the drone or N could do anything. Bullets are coming through the wall. Coming from inside the building.

V and the drone are having a intense firefight.

They kept on running in circles, firing as many bullets as they can. Which turned the walls of the office building in to delicate swiss cheese.

*Rumble*

They did such a good job, of removing an entire floor of the office. That it's gonna collapse.

J realized that's the entire building seems to be descending upon her. Did she leave the building, leaving it to its demise as well as the obvious drone.

J swings her claws at the drone as It attempts to dodge. 

*Metal screech*

The left wing was cut off and it falls to the streets, as J goes for another strike. 

The drone tries to back off to attack from a distance. But J doesn't allow it.

*Metal screech*

The right wing gets cut off and thrown to the ground, hitting a street post. Letting lose the snow that been sitting there.

Causing a light amount of snowing.

It looks up to J, trying to move, but couldn't.

J finished it off. By slicing the neck, leaving the head rolling with oil dripping out of it.

N was in the air. Trying to stop the drone from charging at him.

N: "We could talk about this!"

N narrowly dodged a rocket.

*Explosion*

N did dodged the rocket, but he maybe be going head first into the drone.

N: "Heads up!"

The drone was knocked off line. And N... Was surprisingly fine. Its totally not him being thickheaded or something.

The drone, which was dropped from a considerable height. Gets impaled by a lamp post.

N: "I'm truly sorry!"

While I was guessing where they might have gone. I came across a particular scene.

I spotted a gathering of murder drones, but I see one that is different from the rest. 

It was a human wearing a spacesuit along with 5 disassembly drones, ordering them.

The human, with a large bowtie on her space suit, called Tessa. She is giving orders to the drones. With J2 standing beside her.

Tessa: "You lot. Go do something"

She turns to J2.

Tessa: "Let's go, J. Let these Mindless drones do their thing"

-Tessa PoV

(Where it could be...)

I start to hum to myself.

(If I was a top secret project...)

I walked in front of a building, having a convenient sign.

It reads.

TOTALLY NOT A SECRET FACILITY AND NO SECRET PROJECTS... NOT SUSPICIOUS AT ALL

Tessa: "Hey J, where do you think it could be?"

J2: "It's right there"

Tessa: "It says no... Oh? Wait a minute!"

It clicked for me. 

It's the JCJenson office building!

Tessa: "I knew you had a good eye on our build quality!"

J rolls her eyes

J2: "Tell me again, why I'm with you?"

Tessa: "Because I'm your boss! And you are my favourite!"

*Sigh*

J rudely went ahead of me. 

Tessa: "You can't just go In front of your boss"

I stopped her by getting in the way.

J2: "Do you not understand? That is an absolutely obvious and not even hidden sign about the underground complex that we are trying to find"

She pointed at the sign and then at the normal office building.

Tessa: "It's... Not a JCJenson office building?"

J2: "No... It's more than that"

She facepalms.

I hugged the adorable drone, with its cute annoyed expression, tightly.

Tessa: "It's fine. We all get it wrong, sometimes"

While Tessa and J2 were wasting time. The 4 were being productive, they are patrolling the city. Flying like it was no one's business.

*THUD*

Until, somewhere in the city. A building collapsed, alerting the drones, and they start going towards the noise. To investigate.

J: "Did you finish them off?"

N: "Yes... I accidentally killed him..."

N looks down as he is remorseful for killing a fellow disassembly drone. On the other hand, V was excited. It's been some time she had a real fight.

V: "That was exciting! Where to next?"

J: "Off to the next victims"

N: "Aren't we forgetting someone?"

V, not understanding.

V: "Who? It's just the three of us?"

V me might have forgotten, but J remembers.

J: "... Where is he?"

N: "Does he even know where we are?"

...

J: "We got to find him"

V: "Hold on. We find them first. Then we go to him and perhaps kill him"

N: "No! We can't do that!"

V: "It be fine... We only need to get through that head of his, and we be back to business. Like nothing happened"

J: "With a high speed bullet?"

V: "Maybe... Or a lazer..."

N: "We can't do that to him! He been so kind to us!"

V and J: "Only to you"

*Sad noises*

J: "As much as I want to get rid of him..."

J: "... On a technically... He might be higher ranking than me..."

V: "Wait... You are telling me he is... Our boss? Never!"

J: "He is in a different position in the company, but he still has higher authority than me. A squad leader"

V: "Does he know?"

J: "That he can order us? No... At least I don't think so"

J: "I also feel like even if he knew. You won't listen to him either way. Like me..."

N in the sidelines, saw something in distance. Flying through the clouds.

N: "Uhhhh... We might have a problem?"

J and V looks at the direction that N was pointing at.

V: "Well, that saves us the time to search for them"

I looked at the duo, the human and the suspicious drone. Who looks almost identical to J. No exactly like her.

(What's going on here? They seemed to be looking for something)

They disappeared by going inside the office.

I get up and started to walk.

Tessa: "Do you think it's a bit dark in here?"

I looked into the darkness as J leads.

J2: "It's just a minor inconvenience"

She said that as we reached a closed lift. Kinda curious.

Tessa: "Can you open it?"

J2: "Whatever"

She pulled the doors apart, revealing the inside. There are three skeletons.

Tessa: "A bit spooky"

Tessa: "Oh, rightly ho!"

I jumped inside with J and pressed the lowest button. To reach the bottom floor.

*Press*

*Clank... Clank... Clank...*

The lift starts to descend.

"Please wait. For we will take you to your destination"

*Lift music*

"Do... Do... Do..."

(This music is horrendous)

Tessa: "How far down does this goes?"

J2: "Yes"

Tessa: "And we have to listen to this the whole time?"

J2: "Yes..."

(I should have brought my mobile)

I watched on as they go in the elevator and as they gone down.

(How I'm supposed to follow them now?)

As I was thinking a way... A familiar 9mm came into view.

Davy: "Uzi?"

Uzi: "AHHH!"

She jumps. Releasing a high-pitched scream. Her railgun bounced around, finally catching it and pointed at me.

Uzi: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!"

Davy: "I'm the one who supposed to say that!"

Uzi: "I'm just solving some mysteries!"

Davy: "Like hell you are!"

High in the blue sky of an abandoned and futuristic city of Earth, descends a spaceship. 

 It landed in an empty car parking lot.

One of the doors of the spaceship opens. Revealing the white haired with black stripes drone with a slightly reluctant expansion on his visor.

He steps off and looked around.

-First person 

Davy: "Sure is a sore sight..."

[SOURCE OF SIGNAL: NORTH-WEST, 100M]

Davy: "Let's get this over with..."

(I'm sure it be fine...)

I walked towards the JCJenson headquarters. Hoping it won't be too bad.

-No PoV 

As Davy enters, the lights turned on. Almost blinding him.

But when he adjusted to the light. He saw the main hall, that has a slightly... Unique smell, of lavender. The walls are covered by an unknown substance.

Cyn: "Welcome"

Stands there Cyn. In her usual glorious 'free-form posture'.

Cyn: "Nice to see you"

Cyn: "Happy face"

She stands there... MENACINGLY.

Besides Cyn, there rests 5 familiar heads at her feet: Eve, May, Amelia, Dave, drew. In all sorts of disrepair.

He looked at the scene. Watching with horror and a moment of curiosity.

Davy: "I want to ask what happened... But"

He looks at Cyn. More specifically, the 'tendrils' coming from behind her.

Davy: "You got upgrades?"

Cyn: "Flex"

The 'tendrils' twitch and goes forward to grab the head of Eve.

Cyn: "Happy"

Then it moves again. Reaching for Davy.

He tried to get out of the way. But failed badly. Leaving him hanging upside down, In front of her.

Cyn: "Together"

The 'tendrils' moved Davy and the head closer to Cyn.

Cyn: "Forever. Brother"

Davy at this moment of time. Realized that it maybe a bit of an overstatement to say this would be 'fine'.

(Is... There anyway I can save her, AS?)

[CRAZY WOMEN ARE NOT MY SPECIALTY]

Davy: "Uhhh... Can I be put down now?"

Cyn tilts her head.

Cyn: "Carefully putting down"

Davy, getting released from the unknown. Noticed a weird fluid on him that's slowly dripping.

Davy: "What... Is this?"

Cyn: "Cyn's special juice"

Davy: "You know what... I don't want to know anymore"

A silence is being held in the air. Davy looking down at her as they stare into each other's eyes.

Davy: "you are really not help-"

Before he could finish. Cyn's visor glitches, now displaying a neon yellow symbol.

Cyn?: "DISASSEMBLY REQUIRED"

The 'tendrils' which were just vibing now had murderous intent.

Uzi and Davy looked at each other inside the building. 

Davy: "I thought I told you to stay back at the colony?"

Uzi: "I had to do something very important!"

He doesn't believe it for a second.

*Sigh*

Davy: "It doesn't matter now. Well since you are here..."

He looks at the elevator shaft and Uzi looks at as well. They got closer and looked down it. Seeing nothing but the black abyss.

The Only thing that could be seen is the cable for the elevator and a ladder.

Uzi: "We are not gonna do what I'm thinking of?"

Davy: "I heard that climbing is good for you"

Davy: "Yes we are going down there"

Uzi: "Do you even know how deep it goes!"

Davy: "No. In life, you just have do it"

*Groan*

*BOOM*

Multiple buildings in the city center collapsed. 

N: "Hey, could we talk this out?"

N tries to talk to the dissessembly drone in the air. Who didn't stop for a moment and continued attacking with its claws.

*Yelp*

J and V in the clouds. Are going against 3 drones at once... Of course in a life or death combat.

In the distance. A cry for help can be heard.

N: "... Help..." 

They didn't even register it as they were focused.

Uzi, sweating as she goes down the ladder.

Uzi: "Who made this so long!"

Uzi was slightly agitated by the long climb down. At least she is getting a workout.

Davy: "Shut it"

Davy: "I regret going first. Who knew you sweat!"

Uzi: "So what!"

Davy: "How do you even?!"

Uzi: "I'm god's best creation! No... IM GOD!"

Davy: "We both know for a fact you're not!"

Uzi: "HAHAHAHAHHA"

Davy and Uzi are having their father and daughter bonding time.

V: "DIE DIE DIE!"

V is having her own episode while J, is dealing with N's stupidity.

J: "How did you manage this!"

They lay on the ground.

N: "I... Thought..."

J: "That going through the building and crashing into me was a good idea!?"

N: "No?"

J stands up and N follows.

J: "Unbelievable"

While they're having their moment. The 2 drones had found them.

J: "Oh great, another 2 unintelligent drones. I already had trouble with one"

She rolled her eyes as N watched the drones approaching.

V: "HAHAHAHAHHA HAHAHAHAHA"

-No PoV

V is... Well... 'Going ham'.

She is going after the other 2 drones. They are trying to distance themselves, but couldn't.

*Slash*

*Swoosh*

One of the drones got hit, but still flying. The other one is lining up a shot with its gun.

Before it could do that. V suddenly changed targets and went towards it. Not letting it take a shot before being thrown down.

*Thump*

*Explosion*

A rocket had passed V and exploded.

V glances over to the drone who was spared a second ago.

V: "HAHAHAHA haha..."

She recovers her digital eyes.

V: "I will enjoy stuffing your syringe down your throat and let it melt your insides!"

She smiles widely, revealing her teeth, dripping with saliva.

"Do... Do... Do..."

Tessa: "Is it just me or am I going crazy?"

Tessa waits a moment before looking at J2. 

Tessa: "That's not fair!"

She sees J2 on the floor, in sleep mode.

She walks over and shakes her. Attempting to wake her up to make her suffer with her.

*Rattling*

It didn't do anything.

Tessa: "Fine... Have it your way. But don't expect to be left unscathed"

She begins her fun. An ominous atmosphere has begun to form around her.

Tessa: "Hehe"

She pulls out an official JCJenson sharpe.

"Do... Do... Do..."

*Crunch*

V takes a good bite of a drone's wing, which was separated from its rightful owner. Who is currently under her, struggling for its life under the peg leg experience.

The other drone... Well, we don't mention that one. It suffered a terrible fate.

*Swoosh*

Before V takes another bite, a stray shot passed by. It came from the battle in the skies. Apparently, N and J aren't finished with their opponents. 

Until a drone came down from the clouds, missing a wing and an arm, making it rain oil.

*Thump*

And another came down. This time a headless drone body.

*Thump*

*Clank*

And soon follows its head.

Before V could figure out what's going on. J and N lands besides her.

N: "Could we have asked them politely to stop?"

*Groan*

J: "I already have my fill of incompetence for today"

She quickly walks away from the bumbling buffoon and looked at the poor drone under V.

J: "You gonna finish that?"

She points.

*Crush*

V: "You said something?"

J: "Good job..."

N walks over, A bit worriedly.

N: "Why are we doing this? Aren't we supposed to like..."

N glances at the bodies on the ground.

N: "... The good guys?"

J: "You know, this all wouldn't happened if you didn't exist?"

V: "You kinda allowed all of this to happen"

N: "Oh..."

He perks up.

N: "So where is D?"

...

They looked at each other.

V: "Wasn't there supposed to be 6 in total?"

*Sigh*

J: "I guess we got to find him"

V: "Why? Let's just return to our old ways"

J: "I mean... If you managed to convince the company that we aren't rouge, then go ahead"

J: "And besides... I think the three of us have... Seen some things"

V: "Don't dig into that!"

N: "Into what?"

J: "Yet again, I have overestimated you"

N: "... Huh?"

*Confused noises*

Uzi: "I suddenly feel like we have missed an important event"

Davy: "Don't worry about it"

Uzi: "... Don't worry about it?"

Uzi: "WE HAVE BEEN CLIMBING DOWN FOR HOURS!"

Davy: "Kinda expected when the facility is close enough to the core to do experiments"

Uzi: "Who thought it be a good idea!"

Davy: "JCJenson, apparently"

Uzi: "Ugh"

Uzi: "Bunch of smelly humans!"

Davy: "It's great and all for you to have an outlet... But make sure it's not an unhealthy obsession"

CYN: "STAB"

Her tentacles gone at incredible speeds towards Davy.

Davy dodges away, taking cover behind a random pillar, that was covered by the black substance, now sticking to his clothes as well.

CYN: "DON'T RUN FROM STABY STAB"

She begins to wrap around the Pillar, which Davy was hiding behind.

(AS. What the hell are we supposed to do?)

[GOOD NEW OR BAD NEWS?]

*Crack*

The pillar starts to deform as CYN continues to attack.

CYN: "STOP HIDING"

(I don't have the time here!)

[GOOD NEWS. IM ABLE TO DISABLE AS IN CYN]

(Good!)

*Crack*

[BAD NEWS. YOU HAVE TO SURVIVE UNTIL I FOUND OUT THE WAY TO DO SO]

The pillar stars to crumble. When Davy looks at CYN again, around the corner. He sees a totally different scene.

CYN who was a quirky drone, wearing the Pioneer uniform. Now deformed, the tendrils, instead of coming from the background, now coming from her directly. 

The tendrils now have... cameras and... Flesh?

*Smash*

The cover that Davy was using got destroyed. Leaving him open and defenceless.

Davy: "Hey! Wait a minute!"

CYN: "MORE STABBING"

Davy, With no other choice, starts to run away. As it continues attacking. Barely not getting hit.

(Why didn't I bring a gun!)

Davy, sees the entrance that he got in here at, ran even faster. Unfortunately, CYN noticed and blocked the doorway with its fleshy tentacles.

Davy sees this, turns around, facing CYN. His eyes are shaking.

Davy: "Uhhhh..."

Davy: "Do you like men?"

CYN: "STUPID QUESTION"

Davy: "I mean... You like tacos?"

CYN's tentacle stops right in front of his visor, with its sharp pointy end directly between his eyes.

CYN: "TACOS?"

Davy: "We gonna have tacos later?"

CYN: "GULP"

Davy swears that he saw CYN shut down for a moment before coming back.

CYN: "TEMPTING"

CYN: "ASSIMILATING IS EASIER" 

Before Davy could say his prayers. The tentacles dropped, with CYN going down as well.

*Sack of potatoes*

[COMPLETE]

(If I could give a hug, I would)

[YOU ARE ALSO SHUTTING DOWN]

Davy falls over. Landing in the unknown substance, face first.

Uzi: "Are we there yet?"

Davy: "No"

Uzi: "Are we-"

Davy: "No and no. Please. For the love of all holy. Shut up"

Some silence was regained as they continued going down.

"Do... Do... Do"

Tessa and J2 are laying on the floor. Almost like they have died of boredom.

*Ting*

"The elevator has arrived on its floor"

The doors open.

Tessa: "Oh goodness gracious! Let's get off this hellish lift!"

J2:"I wouldn't want to spend a second more in this box"

When they got out, they saw a dark hallway. The lights don't seem to be on.

They look at the sigh next to the elevator.

Welcome to cabin fever labs!

Beware of electrical malfunctions, there has been ghosts sightings. Report to the office if you spotted one.

But if you see dinosaurs, then seek therapy. Also, if you have a fever, go to the dedicated torture room for a quick recovery.

Tessa: "Huh, that's strange. The lift has power but-"

As she says that, the only light, from the elevator, turns off. Causing them to be in total darkness.

J2: "You had to say something"

Tessa: "Oh, sorry. I didn't realize that there were electrical ghosts nearby"

J2 rolls her eyes, which Tessa sees.

Tessa: "Don't be so sassy"

J2: "Follow me"

She turns around. Pulling out a flashlight as a hand. Revealing the path ahead.

Tessa: "Well, isn't that handy... Hehe"

*Groan*

Uzi: "Is that the bottom?"

Davy: "It's the elevator... I guess we are"

Uzi: "Oh, great! We can go kill them!"

Davy: "No"

Davy steps on the elevator, with Uzi shortly following behind. Drawing her railgun.

Uzi: "What do you mean, 'no'? I thought we were here to kill them. Especially that human!"

Davy: "Keep your voice down. And we are not gonna do anything before finding out what they are here for"

*Humph*

Uzi Turns her head away in defiance.

*Sigh*

Davy: "Just follow along, alright?"

He crouches down and pops open the vent cover, he jumps in and Uzi hesitate a bit before jumping in as well.

After walking awhile, J2 asks Tessa that was on her mind for a while.

J2: "Why are we even here? I don't think there is anything of use here"

Tessa: "Well... I guess since we are here, I will tell the full reason"

Tessa: "It's in fact for two reasons we came here. One. It's the research facility it's actually called here, which made the original strain of AS"

They reached a closed door. With a sign.

Warning. Professionals only. 

Or you have adult supervision.

Tessa: "And second is D. More exactly Davy Reinhardt"

J2: "Could you expand on that?"

J2 opens the door.

Tessa: "Sure, he will be important later for not only for AS. But as well as JCJenson"

J2: "That doesn't seem connected?"

They get inside and see from J2's flashlight. A room filled with computers and machines, looking into a lower room through a one way mirror.

Tessa: "Oh. You will understand when the day comes. If not today."

Uzi: "Why is it so dark?"

She squints her eyes at an attempt to look through the pitch black corridor. 

Davy: "Don't you have night vision?"

Uzi: "No? Why would we have that?"

Davy: "Wow. Cheapskates"

Davy sounds unimpressed.

He turns to Uzi. Able to clearly see her.

Davy: "Hold my hand"

Uzi: "Why...?"

Davy: "Knowing you, you would trip on the most random thing in this empty corridor. But I guess you would hit the wall first"

Uzi: "Bite me!"

She walks off. While Davy wants to stop her. But he wants to see what's gonna happen.

(I hope it's as amusing as I think it's going to be)

-Uzi PoV 

(Who does he think he is! I'm super capable of walking in the dark!)

I storm off to the darkness. Not afraid at all...

After taking a few steps. As I went for another step, I saw something in the open door to the right. There was a... Blue flash?

Kinda afraid now.

Uzi: "Did you see that?"

I turn around to Davy. To only realized I can't see.

Uzi: "D?"

My eyes start to shake.

Uzi: "This isn't funny!"

I saw another blue light coming from my left now.

*Bang*

A gunshot reverberating the corridor, causing me to be higher alert and drawing out my sick railgun. Still unknown where the shot originated.

(Where is N when you need him... Why am I thinking of him! It's not I like him or something)

Tessa and J2 have encountered the security system. The sentinels.

Tessa now whispering.

Tessa: "Hey, J. Do you know what to do, too?"

J2: "Why are you worried? They don't attack humans, remember?"

Tessa: "Oh right!"

Tessa: "Adiós!"

J2: "You won't just-"

Tessa just leaves J2 behind to fend for her self.

J2: "I sometimes wonder how she turned out like this"

She shakes her head.

*Bang*

A gunshot sounds out.

J2: "The last I remember, they don't have guns... Is there someone else here?"

(Damn locks. Trying to be in my way)

I looked at the broken lock, smoking gun in hand.

I look into the familiar office.

(I spent a good while here sleeping)

(Hmmm)

(Eh, old times sake)

I flopped on the old and dusty bed. Surprisingly, still has my shape still in it.

(This is some long memory foam)

Uzi: "OH GOD WHAT IS THAT THING!"

She screams out in terror while a 'cute three blue-eyed dog' chases after her.

It's just a little curious.

She turns a corner and waits a moment.

...

I didn't pass her.

Uzi: "Oh shi-"

*Beep*

It rounds the corner while Uzi aims her railgun. The 'dog' started to shine before getting shot.

*Bang*

Uzi looks at the now dead 'dog'

Poor little guy. He just wanted a little snack.

Now. Uzi has a different problem. Who shot it.

J2: "I knew it"

She has both arms out, one is a flashlight. The other is a gun.

Uzi: "J? What are you doing here?"

J2: "You... Oh wait. I remember now. You were one of the drones at that colony"

J2: "I will finish the job then"

She points the gun at Uzi. Intending to shoot and Uzi is doing the same.

Tessa: "Hey! J where are you?!"

Both of them hesitated when they heard that.

J2: "You're lucky that I'm nice"

She walks away. Leaving Uzi in a cold sweat.

Tessa: "Where were you?"

J2: "You left me"

Tessa: "Eh. Just a minor thing"

*Sigh*

J2: "Why did you call?"

Tessa: "You see that over there?"

She points at a sign.

Experimentation room

J2: "... You want to go in there?"

Tessa: "Of course! How else would we find it?"

J2 just looks up and thinks about life.

After getting a lucky break. She starts wondering down the halls. Before finding a door.

Uzi goes up to the door, seeing a name on it.

Davy Reinhardt - Overseer

She also sees a broken lock on the floor.

Uzi: "Oh cool. It's his old office, I only heard of this from him"

She opens the door and sees a table with a chair, some shelves and a bed where Davy is sleeping.

...

Uzi: "WERE YOU ASLEEP THE HOLE TIME!"

*Groan*

Davy Slowly stands up and stretched.

*Yawn*

Davy: "What is it?"

Uzi: "I can't believe you left me to go to bed!"

Davy: "For the record. You left me even though I warned you"

Uzi: "There was a strange... thing! It almost bit me!"

Davy: "A sentinel? Don't worry. It's a little nibble"

Uzi: "It has rows of sharp teeth!"

Davy: "They are really friendly"

Uzi: "Are we talking about the same thing?!"

Uzi: "How did they not attack you?"

Davy: "What made you think the sentinels would attack me?"

Uzi: "Huh?"

Davy: "I'm basically the boss of cabin fever labs, hence I'm on their whitelist. In other words, they are my pets"

Uzi looks at him. Davy looks at her. They are now having a staring contest.

Uzi couldn't hold it anymore. She lost the staring contest.

Uzi: "Where do I even begin..."

Davy: "Uh..."

While Uzi was processing her emotions. Davy saw a flash of purple and red light. Oddly familiar to him.

When the light stopped. Revealed Doll. Walking into the room.

Davy: "... I didn't expect guests"

Doll translation: "I see. This is where it all began. Mother did say it was difficult"

Davy was confused for a moment before realising something. His eyes widened. Before shaking his head.

Uzi: "What did she say?"

Davy: "For both our sanitys. Don't ask further"

She disappears.

Davy: "That was... Quick"

Tessa and J2 enter.

Davy: "This is reminding me of the old days... Where annoying people come in all the time..."

J2: "We meet again"

She glances at Uzi with some hostility and then looked at Davy.

J2: "I believe we didn't have a proper greeting"

J2: "I'm Serial Destination J but call me J"

Davy takes a moment and sits down behind his office desk.

Davy: "... I'm... Davy Reinhardt. But people call me D"

Uzi: "I knew you'd be confused"

Davy: "About what?"

Tessa: "There is nothing to be confused about?"

Uzi: "That's not the same J we know of"

Davy: "... There are three J's?"

Uzi: "At the current moment. Yes"

Tessa: "What do you mean three J's? There could only be one. The personality matrix can't be copied"

Uzi: "Well, it happened"

J2: "... There are two more of me?"

Davy: "Apparently"

Davy: "What about you"

He motions to Tessa.

Tessa: "Thank you for asking. I'm Tessa, as you know... Well-used to"

Davy: "Don't worry, I still remember you"

He recalls the memory from his sleep.

Davy: "You had grown a lot"

-First person

*Ugh*

My head... My whole body is hurting. I opened my eyes. To only see errors.

[Error: unable to find sensors]

[Error: Memory corruption detected]

[Error: Update required]

[BECOME ONE]

[Error: Unable to reboot]

[Absolute Solver version 0.9: deactivating]

[Error...]

Davy: "You... Should... Have... Said... That... First"

I attempt to stand up despite being unaware of my surroundings. The errors don't make this easier.

???: "Hmm... He's awake"

Davy: "Huh?"

I'm still struggling to even stand. Trying to understand what's going on.

Davy: "When did... you get here?"

The last thing I remember was AS telling me that I will shut down.

I attempt to look at him. But only seeing a silhouette of a being. And I seem to be in a room.

???: "We thought we lost all of your kind"

Davy: "Who are... you?"

???: "Who am I?... I'm the CEO of JCJenson. The most glorious company to ever exist!"

I already don't like him.

(The hell is he on about? JCJenson? Is that just Jenson?)

Davy: "Is it some off-shoot of the Jenson company?"

I tried to look again. But, like I expected. There are only errors to be seen. It's not fun.

(Why am I so tired?)

Ceo: "No. It's a rebranding, since my father has died and well... The whole AS situation"

Davy: "Where... Is Cyn?"

Ceo: "Cyn? I have no idea-"

Someone barged in.

???: "Hey boss! The weird drone woke up!"

Ceo: "Oh, shut it. How could two drones from more than a decade ago, could still be functional?"

???: "But. It did happen, sir!"

Ceo: "Keep an eye on her. I will come when I'm done here"

???: "Yes sir!"

I watched as the outline walks out of the room.

Davy: "Can I see her?"

Ceo: "No. At least not yet"

Davy: "Reason being?"

Ceo: "First. We're going to have to see if you have any AS programs on you. For safety reasons of course"

Davy: "... What will happen after?"

The Ceo seems to take a pause, to think.

Ceo: "Well, my daughter has developed a strong interest in drones... I guess you could be a butler or like a guardian"

(I will take that as a downgrade)

Davy: "Alright..."

(Wait... AS? Are you there?)

(Great)

(Who would have thought I would become a butler)

I looked in the mirror. Revealing me in a black and white butler suit. My hair slightly styled.

(First impressions are key)

I went out of my personal room. To meet with the girl that I'm supposed to take care of.

(I hope AS will be back on, like soon. To take care of these remaining errors.)

[Error: We've been trying to reach you regarding your car's extended warranty]

Walking down the hallway. Among the other drones.

They looked at me with confusion. They started to whisper to eachother.

"Hey"

"Who is he?"

"I don't know"

"Never seen him before"

"He is way too tall"

"Is he a new model?"

"I heard from the humans that there be two newcomers"

"Really?"

"Get back to carrying plates!"

"Ee!"

I walked by them, not minding them.

Now standing behind a door. I knocked.

*Knock knock*

I wait.

...

*Stuff falling over*

Tessa: "Who is it!"

Davy: "Davy"

She opens the door carefully, peeking around. I looked down as she was shorter than me.

Davy: "... Can I come in?"

Tessa: "You're unique and tall for a worker drone... Wait! Are you the same as Cyn?"

(I was wondering where she might be)

Davy: "... You could say that"

(Me being the same as her? That is an overstatement of the century)

She opens the door wider for me to get in.

I got inside and she closed it behind me. But I was focused on Cyn. Standing uniquely beside a table. 

She is staring at me, at my soul.

Cyn: "Stare"

(If I have one... Well, it probably will be... Actually, what colour would my soul be?)

Tessa moved up beside me

Tessa: "This is Cyn-"

Davy: "We already know eachother"

Cyn: "Brother"

Tessa: "Oh. You guys are siblings"

Davy: "Kinda?"

Cyn: "Big bro"

Tessa: "Well, that nice!"

She said something under her breath.

Tessa: "I wish I had a sibling..."

Cyn and I looked at her. Her not knowing that we could hear.

She cheers up again.

Tessa: "Since it, the first meeting. What's your favourite colour?"

Tessa: "I will go first"

Tessa: "I like white. Because it's pure"

I stand while I think. But it seems that Cyn has already got an answer.

Cyn: "Cyn likes blood"

Tessa: "... So, red right?"

Cyn: "Tilt"

She moved her head to the side. Perhaps thinking?

Davy: "I would say... Black is my favourite colour"

Tessa: "Isn't it kinda depressing, though?"

Davy: "Maybe to some. But within darkness, the void. There is always something to discover, to make something out off"

Cyn: "Wow"

Tessa: "I already feel that we got closer!"

Cyn: "Human blood. Makes me happy"

...

Davy: "So. What do we do now?"

Tessa didn't respond immediately, but instead walks to her bed and sits on it. Cyn and I looked on, in curiosity.

Tessa: "Well, I don't know. I asked my parents for drones for years... Never thought I get the two of you"

Davy: "So you don't have any plans for us?"

Cyn: "Freedom"

Tessa, fiddling with her fingers.

Tessa: "I mean... It would be nice to have more..."

Davy: "You want more... Servants?"

Tessa: "No, no. More like friends. Like you"

Cyn: "Smile"

I was slightly taken to it back when I realized this was the daughter of that below zero temp ceo.

Davy: "Where do you plan on finding or getting them?"

Tessa: "Well, I have been thinking about the drone pile in the far back of the garden"

Davy: "Drone pile?"

Tessa: "Oh yea. You haven't been here long. It's basically the place to throw away all the malfunctioning drones"

(...)

(I was made to be self efficient. Capable of conquering planets with no maintenance besides my own for decades... And I'm now being told that humanity... Is wasting resources?)

*Sigh*

Tessa: "Is there something wrong? Don't worry they died or at least I think so, a painless death"

Davy: "Oh, it's not that. It just I'm getting too old"

Cyn: "Grandpa"

I gave a look to Cyn.

Davy: "We are the same age"

Cyn: "Big brother"

Cyn: "Puppy eyes"

Davy: "... Whatever"

I roll my eyes and I take a seat on a chair next to the table, next to Cyn.

Davy: "When are we going?"

Tessa: "Today"

She gets up.

We are now at the dump site. It's quite the sight.

I looked at the pile of drone bodies. Still wearing their uniforms. Some of the drones have obvious disabilities and fatal errors on their visors. But some looked like in pristine condition.

Davy: "How many are we taking?"

I looked at Tessa. Before looking at Cyn, who is beside her.

Cyn: "Grave robbing"

Tessa: "We are not robbing anything... Well maybe"

She looks at the pile.

Tessa: "I think we can take one..."

Davy: "This is going to be a long day, isn't it?"

We successfully dragged a somewhat dirty drone back to the manor.

(Totally not us dragging her through the dirt)

The female drone has twin tails. And the usual uniform. She would be normal. Besides the glaring fatal error on her visor.

Davy: "So why did you pick her?"

Tessa: "Look at her! She is sooo cute!"

I watch on with concern as Tessa now puts The drone on the table and prepares tools.

Davy: "Do you know how to repair them?"

Tessa: "Kinda?"

*Sigh*

Davy: "Let me help you then"

Tessa: "You know?"

I roll up my sleeves.

Davy: "It be my first time looking into the new models"

Tessa: "Welp. I guess we gonna learn together"

Davy: "Indeed, we are..."

We looked at the drone. With... An ominous smile.

Tessa: "... Really?"

Tessa: "You actually still remember me?"

She said in a hesitant but happy tone.

Davy: "Yes I do"

Davy and Tessa started to just stare at eachother. 

Meanwhile, Uzi and J2 don't really know what to do.

...

Uzi: "Ok! That's enough!"

She stands in-between them. Breaking line of sight.

Uzi: "I don't know what's the relationship between you two. But stop it. I'm already sick from you two!"

J2: "I unfortunately have to agree with her"

J2 stands beside Tessa.

*Cough*

Tessa: "Sorry about that. I was a bit emotional..."

J2: "When did you guys meet?"

Tessa: "Before meeting you, it was just me, him and Cyn."

Uzi: "Cyn!"

She recoils from the name.

Tessa: "What's with her?"

Davy: "I might have told her who is the AS host"

Davy: "Besides she just... Allergic to eldritch drones... And humans"
