Chapter Text

"You will heal, drink this and you will be fine" Lina was laying in bed very sick while a cleric in training gave her a healing potion. She drank the drink and sat straight. "What happened to you?" asked the cleric. "Fell" said Lina. "Okay?” He said he found it a little suspicious “the name is Felix by the way I really like your style" Lina wore a cloak that resembled that of an Illusioner. Everyone around knew her story the villager with the beautiful blue eyes she had from her mother who disappeared. She only knows her mother is an Illusioner and was born a villager and later turned into an Illager thats why Lina had all the characteristics of a villager but could sxitch to illager when she wanted. "Thank you,” said Lina. "Rest now" said Felix and walked out the door.

A few days later someone entered the library she and her father ran even though Lina was much more busy practicing archery and her Illusioner magic. "Hi Lina" said Felix "What are you doing here is someone sick?" asked Lina. It was strange because he is from the Savannah and she is from the Taiga not exactly close to each other the only reason she met Felix was because she was injured there. "No I just wanted to talk to you it took me a while to find you but luckily a lot of people knew where you were" he said. "You're lucky I'm not here that often” said Lina.

They sat down on a bench outside. "So the reason I wanted to talk to you was...I'm half illager too I drank a potion that makes me look like a complete villager I just wanted to talk to someone who maybe understood that we don't always have to be enemies the other." Said Felix. Lina smiled "This is great now I'm not alone" she said. They went out together for walks and got to know each other better and became good friends. "I met someone a half villager just like us" said Felix even though Lina's parents were both born villagers she feels like a half illager because her mother is now an illager. " who?" asked Lina, Felix started to blush "Her name is Liv, so the name is a bit like yours and she is sweet and very spontaneous and strong and smart" said Felix. "Do you like her?" asked Lina "Maybe" said Felix.

Lina also wanted to meet someone special in the future. They walked to a big pond where someone was training with an axe when Liv saw them, she walked up to Felix and gave him a hug. "Hey Felix is this Lina? nice to meet you my name is Liv I just made this axe and was testing it" she extended her hand Lina gave a hug immediately instead. "Right Felix said that you like hugs" Liv laughed.

after a while they sat at the pond on a picknick blanket “I'm going to get something" said Felix after a while and ran off. “what was he going to do?” Said Lina, Liv shrugged "So..." Started Liv "I'm not in love with Felix" said Lina "What?" asked Liv "it's just that you know,” Said Lina. Liv started to blush "that’s good" she whispered and looked away. "Here I am again" she heard in the distance there was Felix with a basket. "I baked cookies" he said with a smile together they savored the cookies. "I'm glad to meet you, you two look like good friends" said Lina "Thanks" said Liv.

A few days later Lina walked around in a woodland mansion looking for her mother this was not the first mansion she visited of course she disguised herself. As she came around a corner she ran into someone "Don't you know who I am" said a loud voice Lina fell to the ground "I'm sorry no" Lina looked up the eyes that looked stern suddenly changed "Ow sorry ma'am that wasn't how I meant it" and he held out his hand. Lina stood up without taking it. "Would you like a tour?" he asked. Lina didn't like this kind of people she ran into more of those people who were mean to everyone except her because she seemed so weak and fragile she wasn't weak or fragile at all. "No thanks,” said Lina. "My name is Eric" the evoker kissed her hand Lina pulled away immediately. "Believe me the tour will be very informative" he said. "Fine" said Lina maybe she could joke about how ugly this mansion is but during the tour she amused herself he was friendly even though Lina knew he was only doing this for her other young people seemed scared of Eric. Eric liked to show his sharp teeth to scare people. Eric's friends who were with him when Lina bumped into Eric left one seemed very sad.

After the tour Eric gave a hug and Lina couldn't refuse it felt so good she wished she could find someone like that but who was friendly to everyone. She was also so distracted that she forgot what she was here for. "Will I see you again?" asked Eric both were standing downstairs Lina was holding a book she said as an excuse she visited this mansion for a specific book and took a random book from the library. "No" replied Lina. "Why not? didn't we have fun together?" asked Eric. "You may be nice to me but not to others" and she walked out of the mansion without saying another word.

When a few months later she sat with Felix and Liv again she kept thinking about Eric and she didn't know why he is mean and laughs at people. "We are officially together" Liv said suddenly "Thats great" Lina said smiling, stood up and gave them both a hug.

After the announcement she went to go do archery in the woods for a while to cool her head until she heard a sound it couldn't be Felix because he was with his girlfriend when she turned around she saw a half illager with the same color as a villager Ren couldn't be it because he would never look so scared as soon the person saw that she saw him he was gone. "Wait!" shouted Lina and ran after him. "Sorry I'm not your enemy I didn't mean to disturb you" he looked scared. "No worries I didn't think that you were a bad guy what's your name?" asked Lina "Vince" he said. "Hey Vince, my name is Lina". Since then, Lina Felix and Vince were a group of friends even though Vince had little self-confidence. 

They were walking in the forest when they saw 3 illagers in the distance quickly Felix gave Vince a drink to disguise himself completely as illager Lina did too. "Lina" said one of the evoker it was Eric "I was looking for you" he said. “By the way I didn't introduce you to my friends the Vindicator is Fred and the evoker is Kass.” Vince looked very scared "This is Vince and Felix and I would like not to talk to you" said Lina "Why not I'm not as mean as you think " said Eric. Lina looked angry. "Can you leave us alone for a minute?" asked Eric to his friends Fred nodded and left with Kass. Eric stepped towards Vince Lina wanted to intervene "You must be Vince" said Eric and extended his hand to Vince and smiled "Yes" whispered Vince Lina didn't expect him to be friendly toward Vince was it because she was there? Maybe he's not so mean after all?

Things went better than expected since then Lina visited Eric occasionally Felix didn't think this was such a good idea Lina knew best why Felix didn't like Eric and she should think the same but she can't get him out of her mind. In the few days and months, she visited him she did see change between him and other residents they got less afraid of him he even stood up for the weak who were also just as shocked as Lina. But the question was did he do it for him or just for her? Because if he doesn't want it himself, he's not going to keep this up for long. She loved how he hugs her and how they bake together and other little things and how kind and polite he was to her.

In the forest they held hands "I am glad there are no Villagers here they are so irritating and weak" said Eric he smiled for a moment and looked Lina deep in the eyes "Lina I am really trying to change towards other illagers" he said Lina looked away for a moment after Eric said that. Then he kissed Lina on the cheek and hugged her Lina blushed. "I don't know if I should believe you" said Lina maybe he could change towards other illagers but what would he think about her if he knew she was a villager?

The days after she was still thinking about their relationship "maybe I should forget about him" thought Lina but she loves how he treats her she can't help but fall in love with him but she will never admit it and never say it, but can anyone really change? Maybe she should just do what Felix says and never see him again but she couldn't stop visiting him and wanting to be more than friends with him even though she knew that was wrong.

Felix a half villager half illager was training in the forest he was trying to summon his fangs his father was once an evoker so he can do this too. But it didn't work out very well. He just decided to walk around a bit from the savannah where he trained to a nice green plain full of flowers there, he saw a nice pond and decided to rest a bit. "What are you doing here?" Felix startled awake and unknowingly he used his Fangs a shriek sounded as he turned around he hoped it wasn't an enemy but then again what would a villager think of a half villager or a zombie? What he noticed was that zombies didn't attack him except drowned. Then he made eye contact it was a half villager just like him he had gray skin and eyebrows of a villager. "I'm sorry" Felix said and went to help the Toolsmith so he was dressed anyway. Fortunately, he always has bandages with him and healing potions for emergencies.

"It's okay" said the person it wasn't a he but a she, she had a soft voice or was it a he after all? Felix didn't want to be wrong. "Does it hurt?" asked Felix when he had bound the wound "This is healing potion drink a little it helps" said Felix, Felix sometimes reacts badly to potions so almost never drinks it he uses it only in emergencies just like his villager father which is a little ironic since he is a cleric who makes potions. "I'm fine believe me my twin brother also accidentally shot an arrow at me the name is Liv and yours?" she extended her hand. Liv was clearly a she and she was beautiful also she was wearing a rose purple belt and shoes which matched her nicely and purple was Felix color of clothes so it combined nicely. "That doesn't mean I should have attacked without knowing to whom" Felix said as Liv took a sip of the potion. "You probably don't have much control over your powers, do you?" asked Liv. "Yeah" said Felix. "You know I don't want to scare you but I am very strong it took me a while to control my powers without hurting anyone". Said Liv so she understood Felix a little.

"And what is your name?" she asked. "Felix" he said. Felix is normally very calm but now he feels a little different. "Well Felix follow me" with a strong force he took Felix's arm, and she guided him to a cottage. "Let's get your powers under control" she said. "Who is that?" a half Illager half Villager walked up he looked angry and had light brown skin. "This is my new friend Felix, Felix this is Ren my twin brother don't worry he won't hurt anyone" she said. Looking at them side by side they looked somewhat alike despite the different color and eyebrows. "You trust people way too fast, and did he make those wound?" Ren pointed to the bandage on her leg. "It was accidental just like that arrow that accidentally ended up in my leg" Liv said. Ren looked guilty for a moment and then back to angry and walked away. "See he's super sweet" said Liv Felix thought otherwise.

Since then, Felix visited Liv often and vice versa Felix could control his powers better and Liv seemed happier and more bubbly. They also started to get closer to each other occasionally a hug or a kiss on the cheek spending a lot of time outside practicing and visiting places. Ren didn't like it while Lina a friend of Felix was very happy for them.

A few months later they were sitting together on a beach looking at each other "So am I going to do it or you?" Asked Liv. "What do you mean?" asked Felix and Liv kissed Felix and Felix gave in. "I wonder how Ren is going to react when he hears I have a boyfriend now" Felix laughed she might love him but her twin brother always comes first which Felix didn't mind at all.
Ren was secretly happy for her sister to found someone.

Vince a half Vindicator and half villager, Felix a half Evoker half villager and Lina a half Illusioner and half villager were walking in a dark Forrest. Vince looked briefly at Felix and Lina they were having a conversation that Vince didn't follow he didn't feel at home in the group, but they are the only ones he was friends with. They were on their way to Felix's girlfriend Liv when they got to their house somewhere secluded Liv walked right up to Felix and hugged Felix. Liv's twin brother was there too you wouldn't think it Liv is sweet and talks to Vince but Ren all he did was look angry and stay away from them as much as possible. Felix and Liv sat down under a tree somewhere with Liv. Vince sat alone again he was too afraid to say anything to interrupt the conversation. Vince looked ahead there wasn't much to be seen just a few trees.

Then he heard a noise next to him and looked up Ren was looking at him with an angry face. "Am I doing something wrong?" asked Vince "No" said Ren and sat down on the side of the tree. There was a long silence. "So how did you meet Felix and Lina?" asked Ren which was very strange. Ren was the son of a Toolsmith and a Pillager you wouldn't think he was part villager. "I was walking somewhere in the woods I didn't have a potion so it was visible I wasn't fully villager then I saw Lina training with her bow and arrow in the woods after a while she noticed me and I walked away but she stopped me and started talking to me then she introduced me to Felix and they came to see me sometimes we have a secret club with half villagers and half villagers." When Vince ended his story there was silence for a moment "Lina is half illager?" asked ren. Vince understood the question since Lina seems to be completely a villager. "Lina's mother was born a villager and transformed to illager, Lina can go back and forth from illager to villager without a potion don't ask how I don't know myself." Replied Vince. Another long pause "Liv is way too energetic" said Ren suddenly and got up and walked towards his house. Vince had questions in his head why did Ren suddenly start talking to him? Is he not as mean as he thought? He has a heart? He was actually ... quite friendly Vince thought. And since then Vince thought a lot about that moment the day someone besides his parents had a real conversation with him without feeling unwelcome. This is also the day he fell in love with Ren.

The next few days were strange again Vince tried to talk to Ren but Ren was bitter and acted as if the conversation had never happened. "Did I do something wrong?" asked Vince and Ren just walked away. "Don't take it personally that's how he is I don't understand why you are trying to talk to him" Felix put a hand on Vince's shoulder. They didn't know about that conversation maybe he was thinking wrong about Ren. Another day Ren and Liv visited Felix at his home close to an amethyst church where Felix's father worked. They were discussing what permanent place they could meet. "How about the luch cave?" suggested Lina "Maybe a little too dark,” said Liv. "A clearing in a forest?" suggested Felix "It is already getting closer but many places in a forest are similar" said Lina "How about the big pond?" asked Vince everyone looked at him it was strange he spoke. "Bad idea" said Ren "I don't think it's a bad idea the big pond close to our house is a nice idea,” said Liv. "No I don't want those people close to our house" said Ren loudly banging on the table and walking away. "What’s up with him?" asked Lina "No idea lately he's been a little angrier than usual". Vince looked down why can he only say wrong things.

The other day they were at the pond what was to be the new location Ren was there too but said nothing. They were talking about fighting and their weapons. "My bow has a new spell" said Lina "Which one then?" asked Liv. "Punch II" she replied. "Cool you know I just forged a sword and I'm going to put a spell on it,” said Liv. Vince could not join in much despite being strong he did not like weapons he was a fisherman this was much more fun sitting by a pond and sitting quietly. But despite that he had purchased a new axe to chop wood. "My crossbow has fast charging" Ren said. Vince also now wanted to say something "I have- " but he was interrupted. "Since when do you have a weapon? There's nothing you can talk about so stay out of the conversation,” said Ren. Vince was shocked and felt the tears welling up and walked away home to his pond there he sat alone fishing. "That really went too far Ren he already has low self-confidence we should support him as a friend and not scare him away" said Liv the other two also looked very upset and stood somewhere else far from Ren.

When Vince was fishing alone a few days later he still thought back to what Ren said. His parents tried to comfort him but it didn't really help they told him to forget what Ren said but what if he was right? That he was too much to the group. Then he heard someone coming up to him probably Felix or Lina they tried to talk to him yesterday, but Vince refused but it was Ren he sat down next to Vince and said nothing Vince didn't feel comfortable. After an hour Ren was gone again without a word.

A day later Vince was crying in the woods at the place where Ren first talked to Vince. After a few minutes Ren was suddenly there and sat down on the left side of the tree why was Ren here? Vince tried to stop crying. It was quiet again "Sorry" Ren suddenly said, got up and left. And Vince was alone again when he got up to go home, he saw a red rose lying where Ren was sitting a few minutes ago with a card that said 'for Vince from me'. Vince took the rose home and put it in a flowerpot. Would Ren feel guilty about what he did. At Ren's house, Ren sat in his bed staring and daydreaming about Vince and him together by the river at sunset.

Chapter Text

"Talk to him" said Liv "No thanks" said Ren it was another boring day, but not for long because Felix came over "Why don't you go see him while I'm here having fun with Felix,” said Liv. Ren stood up "And why would I want to see him?" said Ren in a louder voice, Liv pulled out Vince's Photo and showed it "I found this under your bed you even drew a heart on it, and this is not the first photo" she said, it was quiet for a moment "at least try to be friends" said Liv, Ren crossed his arms and started to blush "I don't like him" he said for the hundreds time, he took the photo out of Liv's hands and went to his room. 'Stubborn' thought Liv, even though not many people liked him, Liv thought he has a good heart and it's her twin. Just for fun Liv hung a big picture of Vince on the wall in front of the couch.

Then there was a knock on the door, it wasn't her parents they were gone for a week, she opened the door and Felix stepped in "euh.... what's the meaning of this?" he asked pointing at the picture. "I Am just teasing Ren" she said. "Isn't he going to get mad" he asked, "maybe but he would just hide the picture somewhere" she said "I don't know what you're trying here nothing would ever happen they don't fit together either Vince deserved better" said Felix "Just wait" said Liv. There was silence for a moment "I have with me what you asked for" laughed Felix "Really?" Liv gave Felix a kiss and looked at the bottle he had brought "Which one?" she asked, "Number II" and Liv nodded. As they sat outside Liv saw that Ren sat down in the seat in the living and smiled secretly to herself. She stood in front of the anvil with her hammer in her hand and a diamond sword on it "With this potion of strength II, the forging should go much faster,” said Liv. "May I?" asked Felix and Liv nodded. He threw the splash potion at her, and Liv felt much stronger, she hit the sword with her hammer and there was a big BONK. "euh..." after Liv recovered from the loud sound for a moment, she saw that the anvil was almost as good as broken into 2 she looked at Felix who was also very startled "What's going on?" Ren came out and looked at Liv "everything okay nothing broken?" said Ren of course he was worried "Just a bad idea nothing wrong with us" said Felix when Ren looked at the Anvil and back at Liv he sighed "You broke another one?" and Liv laughed "Yeah it happens a little more often hey maybe we should just try a strength potion I" she said "No!" shouted Ren and Felix in chorus "look now you guys agree again with each other" said Liv. "Anyway, it's dangerous" said Felix and Ren nodded "Okay we'll clean it up" she said ‘back to the old Toolsmith techniques’ she thought. "I'll be gone for a while and when I come back, I hope everything is clean" said Ren, he looked a little nervous. He gave Liv a hug and left. "Did he just give you a hug?" asked Felix "He does that a lot" she said and smiled and watched Ren disappear she did have an idea what he was up to from the look on his blushing face.

Vince sat on a trunk looking sad the day before he had trouble talking to people again and fishing didn't really help with relaxing and then there was Ren, Vince shook his head ‘he's only making it worse don't think about him’ het thought. After a while he saw Ren walking towards him and sit on the other side of the trunk. He did that often usually he said nothing or the occasional stupid comment to make Vince feel bad. It was silence for a while Vince was curious what he was going to do next. Vince heard a big sigh from Ren and Ren got up and walked over to Vince and stood in front of him.

Vince looked Ren straight in the eyes, both were blushing 'Why must he have such beautiful eyes blue and green beautiful combination' thought Ren, Vince thought about the same but instead of Blue green just green. “Close your eyes,” said Ren. Vince didn't really want to listen to him, but he didn't want to get in trouble either, so he did as ask. 'Would he hurt me?’ thought Vince. 'Ren was scary but he would never hurt anyone who didn't do anything to him right?' thought Vince. Then Vince felt Ren’s' hand on his chin and brought Vince’s head a little higher and then everything went black for a moment ... and fireworks, Ren kissed him? It ended as quickly as it started and before Vince knew it Ren was walking away "This never happened don’t you dare tell anyone and especially my sister" and he walked away. Vince was shocked for a moment and looked to the ground "does he feel something for me or is he playing with my emotions?" thought Vince. Anyway, he smiled for a moment maybe this day wasn't so bad. An hour later he was still sitting on the stump thinking about Ren.

Ren went inside his house "How was it?" asked Liv. Ren looked at her "did Felix leave?" he asked "Euh yes?" she said "good, you left everything good too and replaced the Anvil" he said Usually when the Anvil breaks, they reuse the materials to make a new one. "Don't change the subject now,” said Liv. Ren turned very red and looked down "It had gone well" he said. "Did you finally catch up with him?" she asked. "No" said Ren and walked back to his room and closed the door. Liv looked confused for a moment ‘then what did he do? Oh well at least it was something positive and a step closer to friendship or something more?’ she thought. She had felt for a moment what Ren was feeling and she doubted if that was her feelings for Felix at that moment or it was Ren’s feelings for Vince. Anyway, it was a good day for both of the twins.

Ren sat in his room on his bed looking straight ahead with a smile on his face something that doesn't happen often... 'I wish the moment was longer' thought Ren.

Chapter Text

Ren was walking in the woods close to Vince's house this was no accident, then he heard a voice 'you are sweet and cute Ren felt a strange feeling inside it wasn't jealousy, right? The last time it was a little embarrassing. He walked towards Vince wanting to see Vince's new boyfriend. He heard Vince laugh, which was very happy, he has found someone who makes him happy. When he looked from behind a tree, he was shocked for a moment there was Vince sitting in the grass with a wolf on his lap. “You are so soft do you like me to pet yes” and he laughed again. Vince had to blush 'I wasn't jealous at all' he thought. But he thought it was very cute what he saw now. Then he felt something on his leg.

Vince was petting the dog then he heard growling and looked to his left there was a little puppy of the wolf and was pulling on someone's pants “hey stay off” there was Ren. "Why are you always around?" Asked Vince that took a lot of effort for him to say he was a little scared of Ren after all. “No reason” and Ren turned around. It was a silence between him then Vince got an idea. " wait a minute" he said. "Why should I?" Said Ren. Vince took the wolf and put it on Ren's lap after he sat down then Vince took the paw of the wolf and pen and paper, he brought with him actually its inventory of the fish he caught but oh well. He doodled the dog's paw and wrote his name on it. "Here" said Vince and handed the paper to Ren. "What should I do with that it's not even that pretty" he said and stood up and walked away. Vince looked down and was very sad then he heard Ren come back and gave him a kiss on Vince's cheek. Vince looked at him but of course Ren walked away immediately. “Well, this time he didn't say ‘this never happened'” Vince thought but still he was surprised what Ren was doing to him especially with Vince's heart. ‘is he bad or good?’

Meanwhile at Ren's he walked in and straight to his room 'hoy Ren' said Liv who was sitting down to write "nice day?" She asked. " No" and he walked into his room. 'Probably did with that smile on your face that can only come from Vince' Liv thought smiling. As Ren lay on his bed, he took a long stare at the drawing with a blushing face and put the drawing with the rest of Vince's pictures "eat" Liv opened the door "can't you knock?" Said Ren "I can if I want to oh what is that…" Liv took the drawing "ow how cute he put his name there himself" she said Ren chuckled slightly. "Put it away then we will eat our parent are sitting at the table too,” said Liv. Liv understood she shouldn't tease him further they were feeling each other out. Ren put the drawing away and left his room to prepare to eat.

And Vince had to re-inventory his fish "it was worth it" he thought.
