Lenore fidgeted in her seat, boredom rained over her as Duke whispered to the group.

Duke: “Do you think they’ll announce something big today?”

Pluto shrugged, his eyes darting to the door. Eulalie doodled ominously on her notebook whilst Berenice twirled a lock of hair, boredom also taking over her.

Berenice: "who knows what those deans are planning"

Pluto: "Mm Noone can keep up with their thoughts"

Berenice: "Yup absolutely no o-"

Suddenly Annabel, Prospero, Ada, and Morella bursted through the door panting, slightly distressed.

Annabel: “You won’t believe what we heard!”

Lenore: "what's..up?"

Ada: “The deans are planning a family visit!” she exclaimed loudly

Pluto and Lenore’s heart sank. They glanced at eachother, both equally concerned for eachother.

Duke: “This could get messy,” he muttered

Eulalie looked up from her notebook, her face showing she was also quite surprised.

Eulalie: "yes it could..."

Ms Poppet: "alright, settle down!"

The comand instantly made the other 4 walk over to the misfits, taking a seat in their respected placements. Annabel obviously sat next to lenore as her hand went on top of the other girls, holding it comfortingly.

Ms Poppet: "now I did have big news but it seems as if some people ruined it."

The group of 4 nervously looked around the room, avoiding eye contact like their life depended on it (because it did).

Pluto: "so um-..what they said..it's true?"

Lenore: "I swear to God if that's true."

Ms Poppet: "yes dearests, your friends are correct. The deans are planning a "family day""

The 2 quickly groaned, wishing they hadn't asked but their groaning was cut off by a raised hand from morella.

Ms Poppet: "Yes Morella?"

Morella; "when will this visit be? Oh and how long will it last? Also how many family members!?" She rambled on

Ms Poppet: "it will be the whole day possibly longer, they'll bring most of the family you lived or are close with..and for the day, oh it just happens to be today!"

The whole room goes silent, the tension was strong as everybody sat still not saying a word

Lenore: "....can we choose who comes?"

Pluto: "Yeah..."

Ms Poppet: "Hah!. Where's the fun in that?"

She chuckled as if this were just another "fun" game. Lenore felt Annabels hand tighten around her own, she appreciated the gesture but she wa still very anxious.

Ada: "i-im sure it'll all be fine..."

Prospero: "uhm- yes! It'll be alright..."

Pluto leant down on the desk infront of him, his head resting in his own arms. Staring at the desk below him as if would pull him out of this "nightmare".

Eulalie stared at him, empathy running through her as she put her hand on his back as a comforting gesture. Not a second later her hand jerked back up as a loud slam of the doors frightened her aswell as the others.

Merry: "Oh students! Have you heard the amazing news yet~"

Lenore: "amazings very debatable.."

Mourn: "Oh cheer up would ya? At least you'll be able to see your dearest brother...theodore"

Lenores jaw clenched as her brothers name echoed through the room leaving no gaps of silence.

Annabel: "do you to ever shut up"

She asked angerly, glaring at the 2 brothers from her seat.

Merry: "Ah dear Annabel that's no way to speak to us...30 demirets"

Annabel: "Oh for God sake.." she mumbled.

Mourn: "Mm now as we were going to say-"

Merry: "Your families are here!" He said excitedly, cutting off his brothers sentence.

Duke: "ugh.."

Arguing was heard from outside. The voices were deeper, 2 men were having a dispute most likely being 2 family members due to the voices.

Merry: "oh? seems the funs already begun.."

Mourn: "Well then this is our sign to go"

They smirked, merry snapped his fingers as they disappeared leaving a cloud of black smoke which quickly cleared.

Berenice: "wimps.."

Prospro: "should we check that out?" 

Prospero asked concerned about the current going on outside the classroom.

Eulalie: "Yeah.. I'll check it out I guess"

She stood up walking over to the 2 wood doors of the class. She twisted the door knob, creaking open the door a few inches wide as she suddenly slammed the door back closed, startlingly the class.

Ada: "What was that for!?"

Berenice: "Jeez!"

Pluto: "is something wrong eula?"

Eulalie: "yes, no, i-i mean pfft yes..yea everything fine, totallyyy" she rambled out quickly

Morella: "uh huh..."

Lenore: "alright what's behind that door eula.."

Lenore walked over to the front, her hand gripped the door nob, opening the creaky door as eulalie gulped nervously. Once the 2 doors were fully opened the group stood around eulalie and lenore, catching a glance at the commotion from the hall.

Lenores eyes widened at the sight. Now understanding why the voices sounded so familiar as she stared at her brother and "father" arguing in the hall. Annabels father held back hers and another parent held back theo whilst all the families watched.

Annabel: "Ah..."

Eulalie: "I told you not to..."

Lenore: "i-..."

Lenore took a few steps forward, now standing next to a group of parents watching the argument as the others followed behind. She watched for a few seconds before she felt theodores gaze move towards her.

His eyes widened as his body tensed up.

Theodore: "Lenore.."

he said shakily as his eyes teared up. Mr vandernachts head snapped as he heard his "daughters" name.

Mr vandernacht: "you."

Lenores body tensed up as she felt two very different emotions coming from either side of the hall.

Light chuckles were heard coming from Theodore as he smiled widely. The guy behind him let go of his arms as he instantly ran over, spinning lenore into a hug.

Theodore: "you're actually here! Haha!"

Morella: "now you gotta admit, that's cute.." she whispered to Ada

Ada: "I'll admit...it's.. admirable"

Annabel: "they always did have a good bond"

Duke: "that's for sure"

Theodore: "have you grown taller? You cut your hair! You look like me haha!"

Lenore: "yeesh, don't want that happening"

Mr vandernacht: "Enough!, Ira unhand me!"

The happy reunion was harshly stopped by the rough voice. Annabels father seemed reluctantly to let go of his dear friend thaddeus .

Mr vandernacht: "Ira." He said sternly

Annabel: "father I suggest you keep him were he stands."

Ira looked over in surprise as a familiar voice popped up. There stood his daughter next to lenore and Theodore. 

Mr whitlock: "Annabel.."

Theodore: "Annabel lee! It couldn't possibly!"

He said cheerfully, he was equally as surprised as Mr Whitlock but he was also happy to see a good recognizable face 

Annabel nodded her head giving a warm smile

Annabel: "Theodore, it's good to see you"

Theodore: "dear lord it is hah! It's quite the honor to see you again Annabel"

Annabel: "hah, likewise"

Theodore inspected her (in a friendly way) but his eyes landed on a shiny ring around her finger.

Theodore: "engagement or married?" He asked with a smile

Annabel: "engaged"

Mr whitlock: "right...never made it to the wedding"

He said cautiously, his sorrowed gaze turned to lenore as theo followed it quickly connecting the dots.

Theodore: "great scott! My sisters engaged!"

The families around them watched in interest, mr vandernacht eyes widened, realizing what he meant.

Mr vandernacht: "don't tell me.."

He mumbled, anger boiling inside him whilst Mrs vandernacht stood still with no emotions.

Berenice: "now this is some crazy family shit"

Ada: "that's what I'm sayin!"

Duke: "Well it's entertaining I'll give them that"
