   Summary

   One thing that Natalia Wesninski has inherited from her father, Martin Hatford, is a talent for math.

   So she knows that a quart of her soul currently belongs to the devil, and that in exchange this means that her mother is not able to kill her. All she has to do is survive the millions of other things that could threaten her life, and thank her lucky stars (and the devil) that her mother isn't one of them. All she has to do is keep running. The Millport High dingoes have lost their final match, and Nina Josten is ready to ditch Arizona and move somewhere where her mother could never reach her. But a tantalising contract compromises her plans, the promise of Exy sealing the deal.
   Nina is used to having a hellish effect on the people around her due to the immortal contract shadowing over her aura, but something her father's deal with the devil can't explain the burn she feels when she's around a certain blonde goalie. Indulging in Andrea Minyard is something that could get her killed thousands of times over, but her allure is something Nina cannot resist.
