Chapter Text
Tsukasa stares at her and the man holding his younger sister. Oh, that horrible monster. That evil, evil, man. “SAKI!” The blonde child shouted, reaching his hand out for her. “SAKI!” Tears scattered down his face.
“ONI-CHAN!” His sister cried out. She kicked and screamed, hoping to get out of his grasp. Out of his grasp.
Tsukasa runs towards the two as they begin to disappear, but the man stops him, throwing a sword out in front of the child. The rain gently tapped the ground. The sound was the most irritating thing Tsukasa had ever heard.. The slash from the sword only worsened his headache from the ongoing rain. He stepped back as the weapon was aimed near him. He swallows down his confidence within seconds.
The man smiles, “Step closer and I’ll kill you right here, right now. Aha.. If you even try telling people about this after I leave, I’ll make sure you will be seen as a villain and only a villain. You’re the monster here after all.. Trying to talk back to a hero of the city?” his grin scared the life out of the boy. Tsukasa gasped, choking on his breath. He couldn’t think straight.
He’s the monster here..? But.. this guy is taking his sister away.. And for what?
Tsukasa doesn’t even move. He doesn’t blink. He doesn’t speak. He’s completely still. He’s in far too much shock to care. The rain continued to flare over his body. The droplets fell over his face as he watched the sword be drawn away.
The hero let out a small chuckle before grabbing some sort of syringe out of his pocket. He brought it up to the girl in his arm’s neck and injected it into her body. Tsukasa jumped a bit, wanting to stop him.. But he knew he couldn’t be killed. He didn’t want to embrace that pain.
But Saki….
“O-Onii..chan…” Saki sputtered before her eyes shut completely.
The man sighs, “Well, it’s certainly been fun! Catch ya’ later, kid!” he announces, walking away from the ongoing predicament.
Once the hero was too far to see Tsukasa, the blonde fell to his knees and began crying. He sobbed and pulled at his hair. “Saki..!” he hollered in a whisper. He couldn’t believe himself. He let her be taken. He let that evil man take his sister.. “S-saki..!” he continued sobbing, falling to the ground.
He laid there in the rain for a few more minutes. He was lost. So far from his thoughts. He didn’t understand. Why did they take her? The only person he had left. The only person Tsukasa understood how to love. His sister. The girl he would do anything for. Why her? She was so kind.. So caring.. She had a life ahead of her.. Why did those stupid heroes take her?!
Tsukasa bites his lip. Tightening his grip on his hair.
“Hey, are you okay?” A voice asked.
The blonde perked his head up slightly, opening his eyes. The tears of acid still fell. “..huh?” he mumbled.
There in front of him was a woman with purple hair. She had yellow eyes and a gentle smile. Although a gentle smile, Tsukasa could see she was extremely worried. She had a purple cape and the rest was black. A mask seemed to be laying right under her chin, as if she lifted it down below so Tsukasa could see her.
The child knew this woman. She was a supervillain.. Yet that seemed so difficult to believe considering how kind she looked. She had the same look his mom had when he was crying. Her name, as everyone called her, was Luna.. based on the Roman Goddess of the moon. She had the power to send those she chooses to sleep. She often used it on the heroes.
Tsukasa rubs his eyes before sitting up. He stared at her. “I..”
Luna opens her arms for him, “I saw what happened.. I came as soon as I could, dear.. I’m so sorry. That was cruel of Virtus..” Tsukasa willingly lets himself be comforted and falls into her arms, hugging Luna. She holds him tightly as he starts crying again, “It’s okay.. Shh, it’s gonna be okay.”
The boy pulls away and looks up at her which she then cupped his face, “It’s going to be alright, dear. I know it’s scary. I know.. But I promise you, I know your sister will be okay. I know she will. You have to think positively about the situation.” Luna kisses the top of his head, “let’s get you back to bed. I know you need it.” she tells him.
Tsukasa nods slowly, standing up. She does as well. “I..I live over there..” He mumbles, pointing to a faint yellow house. His throat was still sore from crying and screaming.
The woman smiles once again, softly taking his hand and walking him over to his house, “What a lovely house. I’m sure your family takes very good care of the flowers. They look amazing~!” She compliments the gardening. “You know, they remind me of my son. He’s constantly playing in the dirt and trying to grow flowers. It’s really admirable of him..”
“H..he sounds lovely.” Tsukasa hums, his tears drying on his face. He still didn’t understand how this woman was a supervillain. She was far too kind.
The two of them reach the front door. Luna, now with a mask on, puts her hand in the air and then knocks on the door. It was rather late out, so she wasn’t sure if anybody would even answer..
After a few more knocks, the door opened and there appeared a very tired looking woman with light pink hair. She yawns before looking at the two individuals. Firstly, she recognizes her son, and then she recognizes the supervillain holding his hand. She gasps, “Ts-Tsukasa..! What are you doing here with—?!”
Tsukasa shakes his head, “Mom! Don’t worry! She’s kind..!” he quickly stammered, “S..Saki.. She’s…” he started.
Luna pats his head, “It’s alright, I’m not here to harm anyone. I found your son crying on the street. Your daughter was taken by Virtus, the hero.” she explains.
The boy’s mother froze, tears coming to her eyes. “I-.. I thought it was some sort of prank mail.. I-..!” she immediately covered her mouth.
Luna let go of Tsukasa’s hand and then hugged his mother. “It’s alright.. Please don’t blame yourself.” she told her, “I’m sure she’s going to be okay. I know it.”
Tsukasa hugs his mother as well. “I tried to stop him, mom..” he explains.
“It’s– I.. It’s okay, Tsukasa.. It’s okay..” His mother cried out. She sniffled before pulling away from Luna. “th.. Thank you for helping my son. I appreciate it.” she says.
The villain nods with a gentle smile, “No problem, miss. I hope everything turns out okay. Never give up, okay?”
“Mhm…” Tsukasa’s mother says, a hurt smile on her face, “G..goodnight now.” She heads inside, Tsukasa following her, then waves. Luna does as well and soon enough, the door is shut.
It was completely dark now. The house had no lights on. Nothing. Just now, the moment settled into Tsukasa’s chest. His sister was gone. He might not ever see her again.
Saki Tenma was gone.
— ten years later
Tsukasa yawns, stretching his arms out. He looks up at the boy at his desk, rambling about a new show idea. That boy was Rui Kamishiro, Tsukasa’s director as well as best friend. He had purple hair with two blue streaks and yellow eyes. His smile was kind and his interactions were very well-mannered…. Sometimes. There were definitely moments where Rui was a complete mess. Not in a mental-health way, but in a chaos type-way.
You see, Rui had a thing for bringing explosives and fireworks to school. He would also bring Tsukasa alongside him in such moments. It led to the school having no boring days. Many students appreciated the fun while others got annoyed with it. Either way, the duo never stopped.
Except Tsukasa who joined the disciplinary committee to stop Rui and his shenanigans. It has yet to succeed..
“Tsukasa, are you listening?” Rui popped the question, interrupting the star’s thoughts.
The latter perked up, “huh? Oh– yeah! Totally!..” he was in fact not listening.
Rui just chuckles, “geez, you’re terrible at lying..” he teased, “anyway, as I was saying, I won’t be able to hangout after school today like we planned. My mother unfortunately messaged me earlier telling me I have to go get groceries for the house. It was our deal since I forced her not to make me eat vegetables for dinner the other night.” he explained.
Tsukasa sighs, “ahh, it’s fine! Actually, why don’t I join you?! I have nothing better to do, so I might as well!” he introduces.
The director shakes his head, “I would rather do it alone. I’m sorry, Tsukasa.. I’m not exactly in the mood to talk to people today. Too overwhelmed, you know?” he says, hoping not to sound mean.
The star nods, understanding exactly what Rui meant. The thing is, Rui is autistic, or somewhere along that spectrum. He often had days where he wouldn’t have the ability to talk much or really at all. Sometimes he would get so overwhelmed with everything from other days that just on that day, he didn’t feel like dealing with people. Seeing that today was one of those days, Tsukasa knew since Rui already had to force himself to school despite being that uncomfortable, it was best to accept that.
Though, one thing that was bothering him about this was that Rui had seemed perfectly fine earlier! He was smiling and even conducted one of his weird experiments with a firework earlier! He was talking a lot during lunch too.
Maybe he was masking it? Tsukasa thought.
“That’s fine! I completely understand! Don’t worry about it, okay? If you need some time to yourself, please get some! I wouldn’t want our director to get uncomfortable, no? It would be so very un-star-like of me to let you be uncomfortable..!” Tsukasa announced.
Rui smiles, “Thank you.. I appreciate it a lot. We can hang out soon to make up for it!” he hugs Tsukasa before beginning to walk away, “Bye!”
Before the blonde knew it, Rui was gone from his previous spot and out the door. It made him a bit sad to see Rui, the man he loved so very much, to be gone so soon.. But it was fine! Nothing to worry about! Definitely not like he felt heartbroken when his crush had to cancel them hanging out! The day they were hanging out alone where Tsukasa was actually going to confess his love to the boy.
God dammit, Tsukasa..
He slaps his hand over his face, feeling rather embarrassed. He had planned out a whole confession to tell Rui. He stayed up all night trying to rehearse it. He treated it like a script for a show..
And it was all gone to waste. Tsukasa would probably never have the confidence he did for today ever again. He groans in frustration. This seriously was the worst day ever.
It wasn’t even just because of Rui not hanging out with him. Today, August Eighth, was a horrible day because exactly ten years ago, his younger sister, Saki Tenma, got kidnapped by a hero named Virtus.
The day was terrifying. He was sitting crying in the rain after seeing a hero he used to love take his sister away. Ever since then, he has favored villains. He loved the supervillains, especially Luna since she helped him that day, comforting him.
He had been one of the only people in the city to know what she looked like behind the mask. He felt really special. It was a shame he slowly forgot what she looked like. That’s just what trauma does to people. It forces your brain to block out anything it can from a traumatic day.
Another sad thing that happened was Luna disappearing from the public. Nobody knew where she went. People speculated that she got sick and had to quit doing what she did because it would risk her life, but Tsukasa didn’t want to believe it.
Something that did shock everyone though, was her very own son stepping up and taking over the villain life she had. He wore an outfit similar to her. A purple cape, a black jacket, a tinted purple shirt, and black boots. His pants matched the shirt, but a belt with mechanical tools sat on his waist. What was over the cape was robotic arms that made him look like a mechanical octopus. They worked as if he could control them however he wanted. There were four on each side. He also wore the same mask as his mother.
His hair was purple with two blue streaks. It was always tied up, and he also wore makeup so it was hard to tell what he would look like as an ordinary citizen. The makeup was regular eyeshadow over his eyes, which was purple, and red eyeliner. He wore contacts as well that were bright purple. All of that combined sort of made him unrecognizable.
He had a spike in popularity. A lot of the media never see heroes and villains as real people, so some of his fans ended up dying their hair to look like him. While Tsukasa was a fan of his, he never went that far.. His best friend Rui however, was very different to Tsukasa and in fact did dye his hair the same as vulcans. He even wore red eyeliner.
The supervillain’s name was Vulcan. While already being mysterious enough, nobody knew what his superpower was. It was obvious he had one, because how else would he be so good at being a supervillain? He was just really sneaky with it. Some people thought he was just able to make robots come to life, but that just didn’t seem right because robotics are man-made. Usually powers are born from things that were natural. Man-made things typically never related to a power unless the universe had actually adapted to it. The very few times powers were related to man-made was with Minerva, a hero, who had the power to use her guitar to control people for thirty minutes or less and Almira, a hero, who could reverse time. Almira’s was sort of natural, but could also be considered man-made since time was technically invented by humans. They decided how long hours, minutes, and seconds were. They decided hours were sixty minutes and that a day consisted of twenty-four hours due to the rotation of the Earth.
Many scientists came forth when the topic of Almira’s power being manmade or natural that time technically doesn’t exist and is just an illusion that humans came up with, which proceeded to exist for years to come. Almira and Minerva also revealed they both were sisters. Which led people to think maybe they were tested in a lab? But that’s far too unrealistic.
Tsukasa sighs. He needed to get home. The sun was already setting, which meant he had at least stayed after school for an hour. He quickly gets to his feet and makes his way to the classroom door.
His heart hurt a ton. He knew why, he just hated the feeling, which led him to not admit the reason. He missed his sister and he wanted to confess to Rui. If he confessed to Rui, he would be able to forget what happened to Saki and be happy for the day.
But that didn’t happen, so now he has to suffer.
The blonde frowns. Maybe I should just find another distraction. I wonder if Toya is free?
As he walks through the hallway, he pulls out his phone and immediately texts his friend who he sees as a younger brother, Toya Aoyagi! Toya was really kind and unfortunately suffered in a household where his father prioritized music over Toya’s well-being. Tsukasa made the decision to take on the role of being Toya’s older brother since his siblings were horrible to him. Ever since the two met, they had relied on each other. Toya also helped Tsukasa forget about Saki’s disappearance too..
—
TOYA!! (best brother EVER)
TOYA! ARE YOU FEREE?
FREE*
I WAS SUPPOSED TO HANGOUT WITH RUI TODAY BUT HE CACNELED ON ME!!!! AND I NEED A DISTRACTION BECAUSE OF WHAT DAY IT IS. IF UR BUSY THATS FINE I WAS JSUT WODNERING!
Oh! Tsukasa! :D
I’m free. Akito had an after school club to go to.
I’m at Weekend Garage if you’d like to meet up!
WONDERUFL! ILL MEET U THERE!
Tsukasa didn’t even try fixing his spelling mistakes at this point. He was such a quick typer, it was just expected from him to mess up. Toya especially agreed with that since he had known the blonde for so long. There was a time where Tsukasa typed a whole sentence just for it to be complete gibberish. His phone died right after that too, so he didn’t even know the group chat he sent it in spent an entirety of an hour trying to decode his strange message. When he charged his phone and found the messages, he let out a laugh. The group chat was with his theater troupe who knew him better than anyone, so they ended up finding the answer.
The message without translation was:
ROI TDSD NE STEHR AWS PRSATCES TSDJY
The message with translation was:
RUI TOLD ME THERE WAS PRACTICE TODAY
It was a very fun time. Rui and Emu put their detective skills to work while Nene looked up decoders online.
Now with a happy memory in mind, Tsukasa smiles and begins making his way out of the school. Toya wasn’t too far from the school, so he should be able to get there in the next ten to twenty minutes.
He remembered being told about Weekend Garage. It was the place Toya and his group practiced and performed. They had a goal of surpassing RAD WEEKEND or something. It was a legendary performance done years ago that nobody could ever beat. Last Tsukasa heard though, Toya and his group did surpass it. It was a bit sad Tsukasa couldn’t attend. He was busy with practice with the New Moon theater troupe.
He heard it was a lot of fun though, so he certainly would have loved to be there.
-
After around fifteen minutes, Tsukasa arrived at Weekend Garage. He walked in and found Toya sitting at a table. Also sat there was An, a girl from his school. She seemed rather happy as her face was flushed pink.
The blonde walks over there and waves. Both Toya and An see him, resulting in them waving back at him. He sits down in the only other empty chair. “Welcome, Tenma-senpai!” An greeted.
“Hahaha, thank you!” He boasted with his loud voice, “I had no idea this street was here!”
Toya nods, “It’s a really nice street. Everyone is extremely kind.”
“Mhm! I grew up here actually!” An says, “So enjoy your time! Ah, are you thirsty or hungry? I could go ask my dad to fix you up something!”
Tsukasa hesitates, “..Hmm, if it’s not much trouble, I’d love it if you did.”
“Alright! I’ll go ask him!” she stammers, standing up and rushing behind the counter.
This left Toya and Tsukasa together. To be honest, Tsukasa didn’t know what to talk about. He thought it would defeat the whole purpose of talking about Saki, since he came here to distract himself from that.. Then to talk about his crush on Rui would be even worse because some random person could overhear him and tell Rui himself! It was a dead end.. Then, suddenly, an idea pops into his head. “Ooh, Toya! Did you hear about that fight between Okami and Mercury?”
Okami was a supervillain with blue and gray split hair. He had a masquerade mask to hide his identity. He also had a black trench coat made of leather. His shirt was a dark blue with a strap that went right across his chest. He wore black pants and dark blue boots. He also had gloves on that would protect his hands. He had the power to manipulate water. If he wore gloves, he was preventing himself from doing such. The gloves were waterproof.
Mercury was also a supervillain. He had orange hair and green eyes. He also wore a masquerade mask to hide his identity. His outfit had a torn-up scarf. The undershirt was a very dark orange and the overshirt was a see-through black. His pants were black and he wore dark orange shoes. His superpower was super-speed. He could run extremely fast.
Both of them were a duo, never seen without each other. They were partners in crime as some would call them. It was a rather unfortunate title as it was proven they only stole items from stores to give to the homeless. Heroes never really messed with them because of that. Many people considered them vigilantes as they went against the law to help those in need.
Mercury would use his speed to steal items and give them to the homeless while Okami would make it rain or use any nearby water to distract people. They were a great duo.
Unfortunately, just the other night, the two of them got into a pretty heated argument that resulted in Mercury almost drowning. “I did.. Apparently they argued so badly Mercury tried to strangle Okami, right..? Which resulted in Okami defending himself by forcing water down Mercury’s mouth.” Toya says.
Tsukasa nods, “Mhm! I saw it on the news. It looked pretty intense. I’ve never seen them argue before! Knowing there’s people behind those masks really makes me wonder if they’re both okay..”
The younger brother nods in agreement, “Yeah.. I hope they’re both fine. Especially Mercury..” his voice seemed to drift off, “Uh.. anyway, I’m assuming you saw the news about Virtus?”
Tsukasa’s heart dropped right into his stomach when he heard that name. Virtus..
…
Tsukasa stares at her and the man holding his younger sister. Oh, that horrible monster. That evil, evil, man. “SAKI!” The blonde child shouted, reaching his hand out for her. “SAKI!” Tears scattered down his face.
“ONI-CHAN!” His sister cried out. She kicked and screamed, hoping to get out of his grasp. Out of his grasp.
…
“What about him? I haven’t heard anything as of recently.” He mutters, crossing his arms and leaning back in the chair. He couldn’t help but wonder what could have possibly happened to the man Tsukasa hated the most.
Toya stares at him, “Apparently, he got infected with some kind of disease.. One that put him in bed for the next two weeks.” he explains.
..A disease?
“Huh.. Karma really does exist.. Is it deadly?” the star questioned.
The split-dye haired boy shrugs, “The doctors aren’t sure. From what they can see, it looks like someone with a superpower gave him the disease.”
“A superpower that can spread sickness..?! That’s like the complete opposite from mine!” Tsukasa hollers in complete shock. This is the first time he’s heard of someone having such power. He never expected to find the power that was the opposite to his.
See, Tsukasa has a superpower like some people. Of course, it’s rare to have been born with one, which is why there are supervillains and heroes. Tsukasa got lucky and was born with a healing power. His sister was too. You see, Tsukasa rarely used his power unless it was a major injury. Obviously, there were times where his body would self-heal, but that wasn’t under his control. Saki, however, would use her power quite often. Whenever one of her friends got hurt, she would heal them in an instant. Many people in the public witnessed her do this..
The main reason Virtus kidnapped Saki was so the heroes could have a healer who wouldn’t die fast. She was seven, making her the perfect target. She wouldn’t die at that age unless due to some sort of crazy disaster. The way Tsukasa knew that was the reason was because his mother was sent a letter talking about how Saki was likely to be their next target. She thought it was a prank from teenagers, so she ignored it. Never did she expect it to be true.
“I know it is.. Nobody’s ever seen a person with the power to give someone a sickness, so it’s quite worrying. People are speculating that Vulcan did it, considering nobody knows what his power is.” Toya claims, “I personally don’t think that’s his power though. If it was, a whole epidemic would have occurred.”
Tsukasa nods in agreement. “Yeah..”
As the two continued talking, eventually An came over with three dishes and three drinks. She set down the drinks first then did the food. Tsukasa had french toast. Toya had a few cookies and An had ice cream. Three very different foods for three very different people.. Toya had coffee, Tsukasa had water, and An had lemonade.
The girl decided to join in on the other’s conversation, resulting in them all talking about their favorite heroes and villains. An seemed to be more on the heroes side than villains side.
After a little while, Tsukasa eventually had decided he needed to head home. It was getting dark, and he really didn’t want to worry his parents. Especially on a day like this. So, he stood up, waved his goodbyes and left.
All he had to do was find his way home…
–
Tsukasa sighs, making his way down a rather creepy road. He didn’t recognize it, but his phone was saying he was getting close to his house. It had been at least an hour since he had left Weekend Garage. He was getting worried that maybe the map on his phone was incorrect or outdated.
He continued walking, an uncomfortable feeling setting down into his chest. He gulps, still walking. From what he could see, there was an eerie alley way up ahead. That alone made his skin crawl.
It’s just a road. No need to be scared! You’re a star, Tsukasa!
The boy slowed his pace down due to his fear. Walking down places like this was never fun. The killer-clown sightings back in 2016 still freaked him the fuck out. He remembers hearing about those and bawling his eyes out that he was next.
As he made it near the alleyway, a sudden noise of a gunshot was heard. He immediately shrieked, ducking his head down. He stared up and found two people practically dancing up on a building. One of them was colored with green while the other had purple. It was hard to distinguish who they were, but he could definitely confirm they were a villain and hero.
The one with green continued shooting at the purple, while the purple miraculously dodged, using robotic arms..? To move quickly across the floor. The robotic arms meant one thing, and one thing only.
Up there was Vulcan, fighting a hero.
Tsukasa quietly squealed in excitement. He loved Vulcan! He was his favorite supervillain! He was just so cool and interesting. Tsukasa could never get tired of him! It was the one villain both he and Rui talked about the most! Rui was like a superfan, considering all the troubles he went through such as dying his hair.. Tsukasa was just an average fan, but he would for sure still fangirl if he met Vulcan!
Suddenly another gunshot and then. . Plop!
He froze. Slowly, Tsukasa starts turning around, soon enough facing the dark, scary, and definitely filled with killer-clowns from 2016, alleyway. He takes another gulp. The sound had come from over there. He just didn’t know what exactly caused it.
Tsukasa didn’t see Vulcan nor the hero either. It made him a little concerned.
Carefully, he begins walking towards the alleyway. His feet say yes while his head stammers no. He was trying so hard to be brave, but he was still terrified. He crept up to the dark alley. He had a feeling that felt worse than anything. One made of fear that was enough to make him vomit.
He entered the alley and it was there he found a freshly shot body with purple hair and a mask. Tsukasa shrieked, the vomit from earlier definitely coming up now. He gags, turns to the side, and throws up. It was everything he ate earlier. Fear was one thing.. Seeing a corpse of his favorite supervillain was just about another that could make him puke like this.
His throat burned with an acid aftertaste and he felt dizzy. Tsukasa frowns, wiping his mouth with his sleeve. He turns back to stare at Vulcan, who seemed to be breathing.. Just unconscious. Relief settled back into him quickly.
Tsukasa walks towards the body and crouches down. Like he said, he wasn’t dead.. He was just unconscious. Though, Vulcan did have a gun-shot wound right in his stomach. He was lucky to have been shot there rather than the chest.
The blonde sighs. He had three options here.
- He could leave Vulcan here and forget this ever happened.
- He could heal Vulcan, like any nice person would.
- He could turn Vulcan in.
Tsukasa would never do the third one. Especially since he loves Vulcan. If he turns him in, what about the life the villain had behind the mask? Would it just be ruined? Not to mention, if he turns him in, Rui and Tsukasa would have nothing to talk about other than shows. He probably wouldn’t do the first one either. That’s just cruel! Leaving him there to die?!
.and of course the second option is left..
With a frustrated breath, Tsukasa leans down and lifts up the part of Vulcan’s shirt where the wound could be located. He then lowers his hands down onto the bleeding injury and puts his hands over it. As he did this, his fingers twitched, a bright gold flowing out of them. The sparks grew onto the blood and seemed to mix into it. With that occurring, the wound slowly began to stitch itself up because of the odd mixture.
The star smiled with success, pulling that part of Vulcan’s shirt down. He stands up pridefully before making his way out of the alley. He heard some shuffling, but chose to ignore it… at least he tried to ignore it.
It was hard to ignore when the shuffling came from a supervillain who almost in an instant got to his feet, grabbed you and tossed you upside down, holding you in the air using his robotic arms. Tsukasa screamed out of fear.
This was it. He was going to die. He was going to die by the hands of his favorite supervillain.
Vulcan stares at the blonde right in the eyes, “Who are you?” He snaps.
Tsukasa gulps down once again, his breath ceasing to exist. “Ts..Tsukasa Tenma!”
The supervillain huffs, “What happened and why are you here with me?” he questioned in a rather concerned, yet rude, voice.
Being very star-like, Tsukasa smiles, “I, Tsukasa Tenma, found you here after getting shot by another hero! I also healed you!” he said with pure confidence. It was better to act with pride than fear.
Vulcan, taken aback by this behavior, drops the boy straight onto the concrete. Tsukasa lets out a small ‘EEK!’ before falling to the floor and bumping his head. He sits up and places his right hand where it hurts, “Ow..! What was that for?!” he hollered.
The villain looks at him with dead eyes. He didn’t look real. “Tonight never happened.” Vulcan says, walking over to Tsukasa.
The blonde shakes his head, “Woah woah woah! Hold on..!” he hops to his feet, “I healed THE Vulcan, and you expect me to just forget?!” he cries out, “geez! I’d expect a thank you!”
Vulcan looks to his side before sighing, “..My apologies.. I appreciate you saving me. It means a lot. Thank you.” he says. To Tsukasa, it felt weird being apologized to by a supervillain. It was rather strange to him.
“No problem! I-..I’m actually a rather big fan of you.. My friend, Rui, is a much bigger fan than I am though..! He even dyed his hair to look like you!” Tsukasa exclaimed, “...I wish he was here for this! He’d be so stoked!”
The purple haired man chuckles, which makes Tsukasa question things a bit. “I don’t get why you’re idolizing a murderer.. But thank you I suppose.” Vulcan says, “ah, and speaking of friends, I don’t suggest telling them about our little interaction…”
Tsukasa hesitates, but then nods.. He knew Vulcan wouldn’t find him, so it wouldn’t hurt to tell Rui just a little bit.. Right?
“I’ll see you around.” Vulcan muttered before running off.
Tsukasa really couldn’t believe this. Tsukasa Tenma met Vulcan. Tsukasa Tenma healed Vulcan.. Ooh, even though Vulcan said not to, he so has to tell Rui!
