Chapter Text
Heather knew who she wanted to murder, she just wasn't sure which one. So, she decided both.
The assassin inched her way into the living room, to find Katie sleeping on the sofa, Sadie next to her.
Meanwhile, Alejandro was in the bedroom, not sure who he wanted to kill. He ultimately decided on Sierra, for no real reason.
On the bed, 4 people were sleeping, Courtney, Gwen, Sierra, and, Duncan, who was snuggled close to Courtney. Sierra was on the edge of the bed, looking like she was about to fall off.
Alejandro stabbed Sierra in the chest. He smirked, proud of his work.
"That would be a sight to wake up to," Alejandro said under his breath. He decided to try to hide the body somewhere, picking it up and bringing it outside the bedroom.
He placed the body down in the closet.
Heather decided to get more creative.
Heather laid Sadie's dead body out on the table and separated her head from her body with her knife, doing the same to Sadie's limbs.
Alejandro walked over to Heather, observing what she was doing, before giving her a confused look. Heather shrugged.
Heather had done nothing with Katie, leaving her just where she was murdered, a surprise for the people that slept in the living room to wake up to.
Alejandro and Heather rushed back into their room, hoping to catch some sleep, knowing that morning is coming soon.
That night, Izzy had joined in on the murder.
Though she was a ghost, she managed to take Gwen's soul, for revenge.
Morning, with the blizzard still on outside, made everyone much more scared.
They had thought they had gotten rid of the murderer. But instead they awoke that morning with 3 new dead bodys to add to the pile of carnage.
Make that 4, they found another dead body in the closet.
There was 5 left.
Noah,
Courtney,
Alejandro,
Heather,
And Duncan,
one being a killer among them... or two.
Everyone gathered in the living room.
Noah wanted to leave, very badly. He wanted the storm to just be over, so he could sprint out the door.
Courtney was suspicious of Heather, she showed no emotion to the 4 deaths.
Alejandro was a good actor, and he managed to look scared, by clinging to Heather. And Heather, she was just expressionless.
Inside, Alejandro felt as if he was safe, but not his Amor. He had a fear that Heather would get shoved out into the blizzard.
No, that's impossible. Duncan is here, Alejandro just needs to talk with him. But first, Alejandro went to discuss who they were voting with Heather.
Alejandro brought Heather to the corner, thankfully no one even noticed their quick conversation.
"Who are we voting?" Alejandro whispered.
"Courtney." Heather told him, like she already knew. Really, she didn't know who to choose between Noah and Courtney, so she choose one randomly.
"Okay,"
"Pssht, Noah," Said Courtney, walking over to Noah, who was sitting in the corner, far away from Heather and Alejandro.
"What?"
"I'm voting Heather, wanna vote with me?"
Noah thought of reasons for Heather to be the murderer, he found many. "Sure,"
"Great!" Exclaimed Courtney. "I'll try to get Duncan to vote with us."
Courtney walked over to Duncan, who was in the kitchen area.
"Hey princess,"
Courtney blushed at the nickname, she hated it, but loved it at the same time.
"Hi. I was wondering if you could vote for Heather?" Courtney asked, trying to ignore the greeting.
"Why?" Duncan asked, afraid.
If he didn't vote with Courtney, it would put a target on his back. So, without thinking completely, he said "Sure, princess, anything for you."
All this time, Duncan had been worried about betrayal from Heather and Alejandro, only to be the one to betray them.
He had a itching fear in his gut, but he shrugged it off. Anything for Courtney.
Everyone voted.
Noah, Courtney, and Duncan voted for Heather, meaning the majority.
"NOO! IT'S NOT ME!" Heather shouted as she was being shoved out the door, Alejandro not helping the other 3.
"Mi amor!" Alejandro cried, on the break of tears.
Heather got shoved out into the cold winter storm, left to freeze. Alejandro fell to the ground, crying.
"Well we finally got rid of the murderer!" Said Courtney, ignoring Alejandro on the floor.
Duncan looked down at Alejandro in fear, Alejandro not seeing his glance.
Noah felt that he had made a good decision, though he did feel a bit bad for Alejandro, who didn't think that Heather was the murderer, and was clearly upset about it.
Alejandro looked up at Duncan, with anger in his eyes. Nor Courtney or Noah noticed, they were to busy celebrating.
More fear built up in Duncan's chest, he had so much regret. No regret for Heather's life, he just feared for his own life.
That night, Duncan couldn't sleep. He couldn't tell Noah and Courtney, they would be mad at him for not speaking up.
Noah and Courtney were already asleep, while Alejandro was preparing for revenge, and crying about Heather at the same time.
Alejandro trusted him, enough for Alejandro to believe that Duncan wouldn't basically murder his amor. He would've never had murdered Duncan, until now that is.
He crept out of the bedroom, where him, Courtney, and Noah were sleeping. He found Duncan in the living room, sitting on the sofa, curled up in the blanket Courtney brought.
Just as Duncan saw Alejandro, he collapsed onto the bed. "N-No, you don't have to do this."
Seeing Duncan again, all Alejandro's emotions came running back to him, and a tear left his eye. He still didn't say a word as he crept up to Duncan.
"No- Please," Duncan pleaded, knowing what Alejandro wanted. "I'm sorry."
Alejandro pulled out his knife from his pocket, showing it to Duncan, still silent.
Duncan tried to get away, leading him to fall off of the sofa. Alejandro stomped on his foot, to hold him on the floor, causing him to groan in pain. Duncan didn't have quite enough energy to scream.
Duncan looked up at Alejandro, begging with his eyes for forgiveness. Alejandro returned with a angry frown, having a mix of emotions built up.
Without saying anything for a long time, Alejandro finally spoke up, whilst Duncan stayed silent. "Long. Live. The king." And Alejandro finished his sentence by stabbing Duncan in the chest.
Duncan, even though he didn't have it in him, in pain, he let out a piercing scream before laying dead on the floor. Duncan's scream alerted both Noah and Courtney who were asleep. Alejandro put the bloodstained knife back in his pocket.
"What's going on?!" Asked Courtney, hearing Duncan's scream. Courtney gasped, seeing Duncan dead on the floor.
Noah was shocked, he had thought they had voted out the murderer, so did Courtney.
Alejandro looked at them, showing no fear. He didn't even bother to take out his knife again.
"I-" Courtney couldn't get a word out.
Suddenly, something came over Noah, and he pushed Alejandro on the floor.
Alejandro hurried to get up before taking his knife out once again, ready to strike.
Courtney successfully saved Noah from having the same fate as Duncan. They were currently trying to shove Alejandro out the door.
"FUCK ALL OF YOU!" Alejandro screamed, the knife in his hand.
Before Courtney could shut the door on him, Alejandro struck Noah in the arm with his knife. Noah winced in pain before Courtney could finally shut the door and lock it.
Noah fell to the ground and groaned.
"Are you okay?" Courtney asked Noah. "Where did you get hit?"
"Arm..." Noah repiled, his heart beating fast.
Courtney glanced at his arm, shocked at how big the cut was. Courtney ran into the bedroom to grab her medicine kit, leaving Noah on the ground by the door.
"Here!" Courtney rushed to put a bandage around Noah's arm.
Noah put his back against the door whilst Courtney mended his wound. He thought about everything that he went through the past few days. It could've all been avoided if he made it home on time.
"I hope the storm ends soon." Noah repeated after everyone.
"You're not alone," Courtney sighed, continuing to wrap Noah's arm.
There was silence for awhile until Courtney spoke up again. "There, I'm done." She packed the rest of the bandage back into her medicine kit.
"I'm starving," Said Noah, who had not eaten in days.
"Yeah," Courtney sighed again. "Me too."
Another night went by, and by the morning, the days long snow storm had finally stopped.
"Finally!" Courtney blasted open the door. Noah followed after her.
There was still a bit of snow on the ground, and it was still cold, but Courtney and Noah felt free for the first time in days.
"I forgot which way is home... Eh, I'll figure it out." Said Noah. "Nice meeting you Courtney," He waved goodbye and started walking left.
Noah hoped that he was going the right way.
"Bye," Courtney waved back.
Both parties went their separate ways, never seeing eachother again.
Meanwhile, in the afterlife, Alejandro and Heather reunited.
All of the ghosts could go anywhere they wanted in the world, Katie and Sadie had already left, along with Duncan. Izzy, on the otherhand, said that she would stay and haunt the abandoned house.
Alejandro and Heather were just about to leave.
"I kind of like being a ghost, except for the fact that I can't feel your soft skin anymore." Alejandro told Heather.
"Yeah." Heather ignored what Alejandro had said. "Let's go!" Heather floated off in a certain direction.
"Wait!" Alejandro followed her.
"Bye Izzy!" Heather shouted to Izzy.
"Bye!"
Noah felt like he was about to collapse.
He was so thirsty, so hungry, but he had to make it home. Thankfully, he had walked in the right direction.
Noah saw his house for the first time in days, a small cabin in the woods where he lived with his Mom, Dad, and little sister.
He opened the door to find his mother, crying while his dad comforted her. His sister was nowhere to be seen.
They suddenly noticed Noah.
Noah awkwardly grinned. "Hi, I'm home."
