Chapter 1: Just Another Saturday

Chapter Text

It’s been four days since the League of Villains had attacked the USJ in a failed attempt to kill All Might. And because the ring leaders, Tomura Shigaraki and Kurogiri had escaped. Efforts to search and detain them was a first priority and because of that, UA had to close the school for the rest of the week not only for Class-1A to recover from this incident, but for All Might and the teachers who were injured in the attack to recover.

But…

For Mina Ashido however, she saw this as an opportunity to help cheer up her classmates and for them to cut loose and have fun. Which is why she had invited all the girls out to go see a re-release of her favorite horror movie of all time: Aliens! Down at the local theater in Mustafu.

At least that was the plan, unfortunately the only ones who were able to come was her new bestie, Toru Hagakure, and her newest friends, Ochako Uraraka, and Tsuyu Asui. Still, even if the others couldn’t come, Mina was still excited.

“This is exactly what this day calls for! A girls day out!” Mina shouted excitedly, pumping her fist up in the air. “This movie is going to be so awesome!”

“But did you say that you’ve seen this movie a thousand times already?... Kero” Tsu asked, placing a finger to her chin.

“W-Well yeah, but this movie was released in the twentieth century and I always wanted to see this movie on the big screen!” Mina replied sheepishly, a tint of lilac appearing on her cheeks.

“I-It’s not going to be too scary, r-right?” Ochako asked nervously, as she wasn’t really a fan of scary movies, but didn’t want to be left out.

A mischievous grin appeared on Mina’s face as she brought her fingers to her lips and pretended to zip them tightly while giggling. Seeing Ochako’s face alone only made the pink girl even more excited to see this movie.

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to them, green sparks began to form in a nearby alley. The wind suddenly began to pick up as a green and yellow vortex began to open. And suddenly, a large figure came crashing through, slamming their body into the wall and creating a large hole.

Screams of terror could be heard as a large creature with dark green fur emerged from the wall. It had large paws like a lion, massive feathered wings and a long dark forest green curly hair that hung down, covering most of its face.

U A… m U s T… W a R n… All Might…” It muttered under its breath, its piercing emerald eyes looking up towards a fire escape, it immediately leapt into the air and grappled the side of the fire escape, its paws crushing the metal as it began to climb towards the roof of the building.

Once it reached the roof, it began to turn its head frantically before finally it’s gaze landed at UA High, the most prestigious hero school in the entire country.

All Might… The UsJ … I hoPe i’M nOt too late,”

Ochako and the other girls noticed the commotion of citizens running out of the building and the large creature that had appeared atop the building. She also noticed that it had a lot of green scales and long forest green hair.

“Oh, great, just what we all needed, another villain running on a rampage!” A random woman shouted in annoyance as the brunette glanced at her.

“Don’t worry about it, the heroes will catch that green freak,” A man next to the woman replied.

“Don’t even get me started on that tacky green jumpsuit he’s wearing,”

Hearing that, Ochako looked back towards the creature and noticed that he was indeed wearing a jumpsuit. A very familiar dark green jumpsuit with white accents and black elbow and knee pads as well as a red belt with pouches.

“D-Deku?!”

“WHAT?!” Mina and Toru shouted at the same time.

Kero… Ochako, that can’t be Midoriya, he’s supposed to be with Iida, Kirishima, and Kaminari today, remember?” Tsuyu reminded her, looking at the creature.

“Yeah, that thing looks nothing like him!” Toru retorted, pointing at it.

“B-But he has the same hero costume, a-and just look! He has the same hair color as Deku!” Ochako argued, pointing directly at the creature.

However, before any of them could dispute any longer, the creature leapt into the air onto another rooftop, running on all fours and leaping from rooftop to rooftop. It wasn’t long until they realized which direction the creature was running to.

“It’s headed towards UA!” Mina shouted.

“Shouldn’t we wait for the heroes to come and stop it? I don’t know what she’s thinking?” Toru asked, confused.

“Who?” Tsuyu asked.

“Ochako,” the Invisible girl replied, pointing towards the brunette who was already running as fast as she could.

“Hey! Wait for us!” Mina shouted, running after her. All she wanted today was to go out and have some fun with her new friends. Was that too much to ask for?

Well apparently it was since they were all running to school on a perfectly good Saturday. However, she did manage to take a picture of the apparent villain running away and she had to admit that maybe Ochako wasn’t entirely wrong.

“Toru, you go on ahead, I’m going to call Mr. Aizawa, let him know that a villain is heading towards UA,” Tsuyu said, pulling out her phone while the invisible girl nodded before heading off.

Meanwhile, Ochako pursued the creature as fast as her legs could carry her. She wasn’t a fool, this thing couldn’t have been her best friend, but she recognized that suit from anywhere. It was a darker green, but the red belt and pouches and black pads were just too similar, not to mention the dark, green, fluffy hair. Sure it was a lot longer, but there was no mistaking it. The resemblance between Izuku and this thing were very close, maybe it was a relative? Then why would they be heading to UA? Is this really a villain?

“Ochako! Just wait a minute!” Mina called out to her.

“B-But… T-They’re headed to UA… We… Have to keep going… what if it’s really Deku? S-Something might have happened to him,”

“Can’t you just call him?!” Mina shouted as she finally caught up to the brunette, causing her to come to a halt. Breathing heavily as she mentally facepalmed.

“That’s right I- Wait I don’t have his number!” Ochako panicked.

“Buuuut I do!”

“HOW?!”

“I just asked Iida to share it with me so I can make a group chat with everyone. Saying it was for our class when we had “school assignments” or emergencies.” She explained, giving the girl a sly grin while Ochako’s eyes narrowed slightly as she started to puff her cheeks out in annoyance at Mina suddenly having her best friend’s number before her. “Now, let’s give Midori a call~”

After a few seconds it started ringing.

“H-Hello? Who is this? ” Izuku’s voice could be heard.

“This is Ashido Midori!”

“A-A-Ashido!? H-How did you get-”

“Iida gave it to me to add you to the group chat. So be sure to save my number~”

“W-What!?” Izuku stammered as the pink girl started to giggle before Ochako swiped her phone from her hands.

“Hey!”

“D-Deku, it’s me Uraraka, we were just worried is all, and we wanted to make sure you were okay,” Ochako explained, ignoring the pouty glare coming from Mina.

“Y-Yeah… I’m fine, I’m with the guys like I told you before? D-Did something happen?”

“Uhhh…” Ochako wasn’t sure how to answer that something was running around wearing his hero costume and was heading straight to UA at this very moment.

“Hey guys! Tsuyu’s calling Aizawa about the villain heading to UA!” Toru called out to them.

“WHAT?! A Villain’s headed to UA!?!?”

“Uhhh… Nnnoooo…” Ochako lied.

Soon the sound of the phone hanging up could be heard.

“That can’t be good…”

“Can I have my phone back please?”

UA High School

It was just another day for Kendou Itsuka, the Class Rep of Class-1B. Despite the attack at the USJ and the League still out there, Itsuka was able to convince the faculty to allow her to use the training room to practice with her quirk. Normally anyone would have taken the opportunity to go out and have fun on Saturday, but after the attack on All Might & Class-1A, she wanted to take this opportunity to train harder.

With the Sports Festival taking place in three weeks, she wanted to get in extra practice. Itsuka started out with light stretches, and pushups before she moved on to combat training with the robots from the entrance exam. Taking a few deep breaths as she closed her eyes and took a fighting stance.

One of the robots immediately charged, bringing its massive arm into the air and bringing it down at full force. Her eyes opened as she effortlessly dodged to the left, before activating her quirk and backhanding the robot with her large and expanding hand, smashing the robot to pieces. A smirk began to appear on her face, while the other robots all began to open fire non-lethal rounds at the girl.

Let’s do this! Itsuka thought as she dodged the oncoming bullets while charging ahead.

Swiftly jumping side to side, as the bullets flew past her head. Two of the robots moved in to strike the girl but she quickly dived under their arms, sliding before she did a backflip into the air, grabbing their heads before crushing them with her hands and throwing their bodies into another two robots.

Eliminate Red headed girl! She has killed our precious brothers.” One of the robots declared, aiming it’s robotic tail directly at her to fire off a laser beam, but before it could, Itsuka, kicked up a piece of metal from one of the robots before doing a roundhouse kick and kicked it towards the tail, slashing it off. Immediately she started running up to it and punching it in it’s eye, shattering it to pieces.

Once the final robot had fallen onto its back, Itsuka noticed that there weren’t any more robots to fight and couldn’t help but pant as sweat dripped from her forehead. Placing her hands on the knees as she tried to catch her breath.

I gotta get stronger… Despite how annoying Monoma has been lately about crushing Class-1A… He was right about one thing… that we need to show everyone that we are also here… That we can hold our own like them. I just wish… That there is someone out there that understands that-

*BOOM!*

Kendou’s thoughts were cut off suddenly as she was blown back by the force of something crashing through the wall of the training grounds. Landing on her side, she quickly stood back up and noticed through the smoke, a pair of glowing green eyes were staring directly at her.

All Might , I MuSt FInd hIm! MuSt tEll hIm … FuTUre… USJ, trouble,”

This guy is looking for All Might?! Don’t tell me he’s a member of the league of villains! She thought, getting into a fighting pose as she activated her quirk, expanding the size of her hand as large as she could make it.

“Please… HeLP, muSt FiND Teachers… must find All Might,” The creature said, slowly walking towards her as his imposing size was gradually getting smaller the closer he got to her.

Emerging from the smoke was a young man, who had long green hair, eyes that shone like emeralds, his hands were covered in green scales and he had tattered feathered wings. Not to mention the large horns he had atop of his head. She also noticed his costume was in complete tatters, the top half completely torn off, showing off his biceps, pecks. Kendou couldn’t help but gawk as her eyes landed upon the boy's abs that were showing.

Woah…

“I… I need to find… All Might… I need to warn him… I need to… help everyone…” Was the last thing he was able to say before he started to collapse in front of the girl.

Kendou didn’t even hesitate to grab the boy before he could hit the ground, she didn’t even think about it as her legs had moved on their own. Seeing the boy coming here, he must have been disoriented and confused as he had come crashing through the training facility and not the actual school. Which may or may not have been a blessing in disguise as that would have caused waaay more problems for the school.

Not that this wasn’t any better, but nobody got hurt at least.

“Ms. Kendou!” Kan-Sensei came bursting through the door, followed by Mr. Aizawa, and a few other UA staff. “Are you alright!?”

“Y-Yeah… this… guy came crashing in here, I don’t know what exactly happened to him, but he said he had to see All Might… that he needed to warn him about something,” Kendou answered, still holding the boy in her arms.

“Kendou, we- Midoriya?” Aizawa

“W-Wait you know him!?”

“Problem child here is part of my class in 1A… What happened to him?” Aizawa asked.

“We should probably get him to Recovery Girl then, make sure there aren’t any serious injuries sustained,” Kayama-Sensei suggested, taking a closer look at the boy before looking at Kendou. “Are you sure you are okay? We can have Recovery Girl check you as well if you want, Kendou?

“N-No, it’s okay… I’m fine, just- I’m more worried about Midoriya, he looks like he’s been through hell,”

“For now, let’s get him over to the medical wing… once he wakes up, we’ll find out exactly what’s going-

* Ring, Ring, Ring,*

Grunting in annoyance, Aizawa pulled out his phone and his eyes widened.

Izuku Midoriya was calling him.

What the hell is going on here?

Chapter 2: A Message From The Future

Summary:

When Izuku gets called to come to UA, he hadn't expected to make a new friend, and to learn that the mysterious new visitor was him from the future and a message that could change his fate.

Notes:

So this took me a bit longer than I would have liked, but the second chapter is done now. WOO! Anyways, I am still getting used to this site, so hopefully sometime soon I'll get use to this format. Anyways, I had an absolute blast writing this chapter, and I think I did a good job nailing all the characters, but If I did make some mistakes, feel free to leave it in the comments below.

Hopefully I can find an editor in the future.

Chapter Text

When All Might was told to meet Principle Nezu in the nurse's office immediately, he honestly wasn’t expecting to find young Midoriya there injured and… disfigured. At first he assumed the worst had happened to him. At least until Aizawa had filled him in and explained that Asui had called him to alert him of the villain making their way to UA, and the following call with Midoriya also alerting him of the villain.

Which was odd because he was right here, but considering this other Midoriya came to UA and caused a huge amount of damage to the training facility and apparently property damage beforehand.

“So what do you make of this All Might, Aizawa?” Nezu asked.

“I’m… I’m not sure what to think honestly, Young Midoriya had apparently been with his male classmates all day. However, seeing this Midoriya here… looking like this… I’m not sure what to think,” All Might answered, not taking his eyes off of the unconscious boy.

“Aizawa?”

“Hmm… It’s possible this could be an imposter meant to replace Midoriya, and something obviously went wrong. However, Kendou from Class 1B heard that he was looking for All Might and was trying to warn him about the USJ,” he answered, pinching the bridge of his nose for a moment before continuing.

“It’s possible that this could be a member from Midoriya’s family who had a mutation quirk. Maybe even got involved with the League of Villains before something clearly had gone wrong and was trying to get here to warn us about the attack. That’s the most logical reasoning I could think of as of this moment. The kid probably made a mistake and was trying to make up for it.”

Nezu nodded his head in response. “That is sound thinking of you Aizawa, and is definitely a possibility, but I advise we wait for this young man to wake up and explain himself. I have some theories of my own, but I’d like to confirm it before anything else.”

“I can always reach out to my friend Detective Tsukauchi and make sure he isn’t lying to us?” All Might suggested.

“There’s no need for that All Might,” Nezu raised his paw as he turned his gaze back to the sleeping young man. “I had already reached out to him and he has agreed to come on my behalf. Having him here to help find out if he was lying or not would be most beneficial. He’ll most likely arrive within the hour.”

“So, we just wait for him to get here?” Aizawa asked.

“It’s all we can do at the moment, gentleman, Recovery Girl said he’d most likely awake soon after some rest, but his injuries… they are quite puzzling, don’t you think?” Nezu pointed out. “One thing that stands out to me are the lacerations on his arms, if you look closely…”

“They look like they were cut open and then stitched back together.”

Hearing that made the two men sick to their stomachs at the very thought of what was done to this young man. All Might had a terrible feeling that he knew who could have been capable of this cruelty. However, that didn’t last long as a groan could be heard coming from the young man laying.

“Ugh… Ow… W-Where… Did-” he started before his eyes widened he immediately sat up. “W-WHAT HAPPENED? WASITOOLATE? DID I MAKE IT IN TIME?!”

“Woah, calm down! Take it easy kid,” All Might gestured with his hands. “You're safe, you're at UA, but we need you to calmly explain your situation to us so that we can get the whole story.”

“A-All Might…” He strained, feeling his throat tighten as tears began to fill his eyes at the sight of his old mentor sitting before him. For the skeletal man though, his eyes widened as he sat up straight and began to puff himself up to his true form.

“HAHAHA! I wasn’t expecting for you to realize who I was immediately, young man! You are indeed correct!” All Might said, boisterously posing heroically for him before he deflated immediately, coughing up blood.

Sigh… Always have to show off… You know you’re supposed to take it easy,” Aizawa groaned in annoyance.

“I could say the same to you Aizawa, considering you’re still wearing that cast,” All Might retorted.

“Gentlemen, please… We are straying off topic, let’s get back to the matter at hand. Now, would you mind explaining what happened to you, and why you are here?” Nezu asked, a smile forming on his face. “Let’s start from the beginning, shall we?”

“O-Oh…y-yes… o-oof course, I’m sorry… It’s just-I have a lot to say,”

“I understand, and I have my suspicions about who you are, but I’d like for you to confirm it for me,” Nezu said, as the greenette gulped nervously.

“I’ll… I’ll answer any questions you have, but… If it’s okay, there’s just two more people we need to wait for. What I’ll share with you, concerns the very future of Japan- No, the very world itself,”

“Oh? And who is it that we must wait for if you don’t mind me asking?”

“Well, Detective Tsukauchi… And Izuku Midoriya,”

Izuku wasn’t sure what he was expecting after his call with Aizawa-Sensei about a potential villain heading to UA, but apparently sometime afterward All Might had called him telling him that the “villain” in question had requested him specifically to be present. He wasn’t sure as to why but hearing the concern in his mentor’s voice made it clear that he was needed. For what purpose, he did not know, but maybe he could use this as an opportunity to get in some more training with All Might after the matter was settled.

He hasn’t got a full grasp of One For All yet since he was only able to control the power for a moment when he tried to use a ‘Smash’ against Shigaraki at the USJ, before it was blocked by the Nomu.

So much has happened since I made it into UA, and I honestly wasn’t expecting anything to be happening this soon- Wait, no! I should have expected something like this to happen, knowing my luck. I need to get a grasp on One For All as soon as possible. I don’t want to be a burden to anyone.

However, he wasn’t able to ponder it for very long as he was now standing outside the front gates leading into UA. He’ll have to figure it out later, all that matters right now is meeting up with the Principal and All Might. With determination, Izuku began to march right through the front doors of the school and began to make his way over to Recovery Girl’s office.

On his way there, he would soon notice a tall, beautiful girl with orange hair, teal blue eyes, wearing the same gym uniform that his homeroom teacher had given his class. Izuku couldn’t help but stare at the girl in front of him, but he wasn’t sure from which class she was a part of. If he were any other guy out there, he’d walk up to her and introduce himself, but unfortunately he wasn’t. Meaning that there was no way he was going to talk to her and it was best to just head in and pretend he didn’t see her.

And just as he was about to walk past her he noticed the look of concern on her face as she was sitting on the bench across from the Nurse’s office. He noticed how she kept tapping her foot in place with her head resting against her fists. Immediately he could tell from a glance that she was anxious and that something had clearly happened.

Izuku wanted to ask if everything was alright or if there was anything he could do to help? But that would mean talking to the orange haired beauty and it was already difficult enough to even talk to his female classmates without getting flustered.

Especially around Uraraka.

Unfortunately for him though, he can’t ignore someone who needs help. Steeling himself, he mustered up every ounce of courage he had and walked up to her.

“Um… H-Hi…” He muttered under his breath, but was loud enough for the girl to look up towards him. Seeing her eyes widen in shock. “S-Sorry i-if I’m b-bothering y-y-you… I just… noticed you looking a bit down a-and wanted to see i-if you were, okay?”

“Oh! Uh… Yeah! Sorry, just… I was a bit lost in thought at the moment, but you look a lot better now,” she replied, smiling sheepishly, while the green haired boy looked at her confused, but before he could correct her, she continued on. “Honestly, you looked like you were in pretty bad shape when you arrived, and I guess I’ve been worrying you weren’t going to wake up.”

Is she talking about the USJ? But that can’t be right, I think I would have definitely recalled a beautiful girl like her waiting for me in the nurse's office. Izuku thought to himself as it was the only thing that would have made sense to the green haired teen.

“Oh, shit! Sorry I forgot to introduce myself, I’m Itsuka Kendou, Class-1B in the Hero Course,” she extended her hand out towards him and gave him a smile that made his heart skip a beat.

“I-Izuku M-Midoriya… N-Nice to meet you, I-I’m f-frrom C-Class-1A,” Izuku stuttered, shakingly reaching out to grab her hand with his own as his face started to feel his cheek’s reddened.

“Hey, you okay dude? No need to be nervous, I don’t bite,”

“S-Sorry, just… a little nervous… I’m not the best when it c-comes to m-making friends,” he answered.

“Well I guess that makes sense, but you don’t need to be shy around me okay? We’re both trying to be heroes right?” She asked, her grin and confidence started to make Izuku smile back.

“R-Right!”

“Good, consider me a friend then! Oh yeah, by the way, what happened to the whole horns, tail and feathers?” she asked, gesturing to pretty much all of him which only made him more confused.

“H-Huh?”

“Your quirk I mean? When you came crashing in earlier today, you had horns, and- Oh yeah, actually you were taller too, weren’t you?”

“K-Kendou, I think you must have made a mistake, I’m not-” However, before he could finish, the door to Recovery Girl’s office opened and out came Aizawa-Sensei.

“Ah, Midoriya, it’s about time you got here, we’ve been waiting. Our… guest has been expecting you,” Aizawa said bluntly, before his gaze fell on Itsuka. “Kendou, you can head home now since the situation is under control.”

“W-wait, I thought- But he’s- I- what?!”

“I’m sure Midoriya will be happy to explain everything to you afterwards, but I think it’s best that you head home for today,” Aizawa stated.

“Okay, well I’ll see you around Midoriya…” Kendou waved, standing up from the bench and started making her way down the hall before turning around the corner out of view as the green haired boy waved goodbye, his face beet red.

“Enough being lovestruck already, we don’t have time for that,” Aizawa said bluntly, causing Izuku’s face to burst as red as a tomato, steam coming out of his ears.

“W-WHAT!? I-I I just- I mean- I only-”

“Jokes aside, I am serious that you need to come inside,”

Shaking his head, Izuku followed the pro hero inside and was soon greeted by the sight of All Might, Principal Nezu, Detective Tsukauchi who he had met a few days ago, and even Midnight-sensei, Vlad-sensei and Present Mic-sensei. However, his eyes landed on a new yet very familiar face.

The young man sitting up on the bed looked back at him and gave a sheepish grin, one that he was all too familiar with. It was like he was looking in a mirror except the young man looked a little older than him, but he also had other notable features that made him very different from him. His hair was longer than his and he had horns atop of his head and green scales, and feathers covering his arms. He had a large scaly tail poking out from under the covers and his eyes were very similar to his own, but they had speckles of red in them and the pupils were sharp and pointed instead of being round.

“Perfect timing Midoriya, now that everyone is here, we can begin this meeting. Now, would you like to introduce yourself to everyone here?”

“Yeah, so just full disclosure… this will be… difficult to believe, but it’s the truth. My name… is Izuku Midoriya, and I’m from the future,” The young man answered, his head rubbing the back of his head.

Izuku felt his jaw drop when his (future self?) admitted that. He could feel the awkwardness in the air as everyone looked at him skeptically. Not that it surprised him since what he told them was physically impossible since Izuku is standing right here and despite the similarities, he’s pretty sure that he doesn’t have a quirk that gives him scales, horns, and a tail.

At least until the detective finally spoke. “He’s actually… telling the truth!?”

“WHAT!?” Present Mic, and Midnight both shouted.

“Young Midoriya…” All Might muttered, clenching his hands tightly on his lap as he looked back at his protege, and his future counterpart.

“As I suspected,” Nezu said, standing up from his seat and hopping down. Making his way to the center of the room.

“Waitwaitwait! How’d you know?”

“Well I thought it was fairly obvious considering Mr. Midoriya’s background alone would be enough. Izuku Midoriya as far as we know is an only child and there hasn’t been any other medical records of other relatives that the Midoriya’s are in contact with. Cloning is also out considering his appearance alone would mark him down as a failure considering the abnormalities on his body.”

“I have also asked Recovery Girl to take a swab of his blood and run a DNA test on him.” Nezu explained, turning his gaze towards the old heroine.

“From the results we were able to gather, his blood, despite it being altered, is one hundred percent Izuku Midoriya’s as bizarre as that is. The blood results don’t lie,” Recovery Girl answered.

“All things considered, I needed to confirm my suspicions which is why I had asked the detective to come,” Nezu added.

“My quirk allows me to be able to tell if someone is lying, and even though this sounds unbelievable, he’s indeed telling the truth,” Tsukauchi stated.

“Well that does explain why there are two Midoriya’s here currently,” Midnight said, as she pondered the situation.

Aizawa groaned in annoyance as he looked at both Izuku’s. This was going to be a really long day wasn’t it? It’s bad enough that he’s still recovering from the attack at the USJ, but now he has to deal with this. On a Saturday of all days.

“So, if that’s the case… It would explain why you were trying to warn All Might about the attack, but unfortunately you are four days late. The ring leaders of the League of Villains escaped.” Aizawa explained, an explanation that caused Future Izuku’s eyes to furrow as his hands clenched tightly into fists.

“No… This… This wasn’t supposed to go this way… Damnit!” he snarled.

“W-Wait a minute,” Izuku paused, trying to think about what he wanted to ask his future self. There were so many questions that needed to be answered. “I’m s-sorry, I’m just trying to wrap my head around all of this, so… you are me?”

“Yes, I’m you and believe me when I say that I wouldn’t have come here if I didn’t have a choice,” Future Izuku answered.

“Which begs the question… Why did you come from the future?” Nezu asked, getting straight to the point.

With a deep sigh and heavy heart, Future Izuku sat up straight in his bed and began to tell his story.

“There’s a lot that happens in the future, and before I tell you,” His gaze soon fell onto the number one hero in the whole world and the one who would succeed him in his place someday. “I’m sorry… but in order for everyone to understand what’s at stake, I need to tell them about your quirk…I need to tell them about One For All… I hope you’ll forgive me-”

“No! None of that! I know… it’s difficult to come clean after all this time, but if the fate of the world depends on it. You have my full permission to tell everyone in this room,” All Might said.

“H-He’s right…I know it’s important to keep it all a secret, but if it means keeping everyone safe, then it’s definitely better to tell everyone, in this room I mean,” Izuku answered.

“Thank you… And before I tell everyone everything, this will be your last chance to leave,” Future Izuku stated, but seeing as no one, not even his younger self who had a look of determination on his face.

“It all began during my last year at Aldera, when I was attacked by a villain and was rescued by All Might” Future Izuku began to tell them everything about One For All as a whole and how it was passed down from one user to another until it eventually made it to All Might and than his past self and what he had to do to earn that power.

Aizawa didn’t look too pleased with All Might when he brought up how he was given the quirk on the day of the exam. If he had known prior about Izuku’s situation, he would have never targeted him on the first day of class.

“You really do plan to be a problem child, Midoriya? At this rate, my hair will turn gray before I’m in my forties.” Aizawa stated bluntly before glaring at the skeletal man. “As for you, don’t you think you should have told me about Izuku and how he had only received his quirk recently?”

“I’m sorry, but we needed to keep One For All a secret for not only the safety of others but Izuku’s safety as well,” All Might tried to explain, but it seemed to only make the shaggy haired man more furious at him.

“Now, now, let’s not get off topic, please continue Midoriya,” Nezu said.

“Right… Well, after I got into UA, and everyone found out All Might was a teacher here, well… you already know what happened at the USJ, but it’s what happened afterwards.” Future Izuku sighed, while Tsukauchi continued to write down everything he was saying.

“It happened sometime after the Sports Festival, where Iida, Todoroki and I would have a run in with the Hero Killer: Stain, and how he was captured.”

“Oh, and were you by any chance looking for the Hero Killer?” Nezu asked.

“It wasn’t me who went after him, it was Iida… because his brother, Ingenium was attacked and was crippled.” the older greenette explained, while Midnight, and Aizawa grimaced at the thought of Tensei, their friend getting hurt.

“I only went after him because I was worried, Hosu was in complete chaos when more of those Nomus were sent out-”

“Hold on for a moment Young Midoriya, are you telling us that there are more like Nomu?” All Might asked, already having a terrible feeling about where this was going.

“The Nomu, from what I know at least, used to be people and even though they weren’t as strong as the one from the USJ, they were still wreaking havoc and a lot of the pros couldn’t handle them on their own. All I know is that they were all stuffed with several quirks and experimented on…”

“By who?” Vlad asked.

“This doctor named Kyudai Garaki, and… and All For One,” Future Izuku shook in his place, clenching the covers of the bed he laid in as he recalled that horrible feeling of dread and death that came from All For One.

However, before he could go on, All Might suddenly stood up from his seat, knocking over his chair as his eyes widened. Part of him wanted to believe that it was all a lie. He had suspected it when Tsukauchi explained everything about Nomu, and that he was created with the purpose to kill him, but hearing it from his own successor’s mouth, it was hard to believe considering he crushed his skull with his own fist. No one could have survived that.

“All For One?” Izuku muttered under his breath, confused as to who that was since he’s never heard of him before.

“All For One, was the reason why One For All exists in the first place. He was a cruel, sadistic criminal mastermind that ruled the criminal underworld with an iron fist. Unlike the quirk One For All, his quirk allowed him to steal and bestow other people's quirks, and he’s been doing it for the past few centuries,” Future Izuku explained.

“Young Midoriya, remember the day I showed you this scar?”

“Y-yeah I remember, but what- W-Wait, you mean he’s the one who-”

“Yes, and knowing that he’s alive and out there lurking in the shadows, I plan to finish what those before me had started and put an end to this once and for all,” All Might said, placing his hands on the younger Izuku’s shoulders. “All you need to do is focus on surpassing me and forging a bright future for the rest of the world.”

“I will All Might!” Izuku replied, but not before realizing something as he turned his gaze towards his future self. “W-Wait… so… is he the reason why you- I m-m-mean I ended up like this ?”

“Not from him… Believe it or not… he’s the least of our problems… Tomura Shigaraki is the one we have to worry about. All For One in my time at least was defeated by All Might in Kamino and was locked away in Tartarus,” Future Izuku answered.

“And who might I ask… did this to you?” Nezu interjected, his black, calculating eyes narrowed, already having a suspicion as to who is responsible.

“I… He…” Future Izuku started, but the words quickly died in his throat as he looked down at his hands. It was hard as images began to flash in his head of the cruel doctor and Shigaraki standing over him and the sounds… the sounds.

*RRRRRRRIP*

*TEARRRRRR*

“Midoriya… Midoriya?” Aizawa snapped his fingers, gaining the older teen’s attention. “Are you alright?”

“S-Sorry, I just… It’s difficult for me to say since all it… reminds me is my time chained to that table… The doctor was ripping and tearing me apart… while… quirks… were shoved inside of me… They were trying to turn me into one of the Nomu’s… but I don’t know if it was the embers of One For All or if it was my will alone… but I managed to stay me and… escaped.” Future Izuku explained.

“Hold on a second, embers?” Present Mic asked.

“What do you mean embers? Young Midoriya… please don’t tell me-” All Might asked.

“This is one of the reasons why I came back to the past… In my future, One For All was stolen from me, by Shigaraki in the Jaku district. Next year, at the start of our second semester at UA… War will break out between the heroes and the Meta Liberation Army that had fallen under Shigaraki & the League’s control.”

“And even though we had the advantage… what we weren’t expecting was for Shigaraki to have All For One’s quirk… and… he… he took One For All from me.” he explained, his eyes narrowing, his teeth gritting as he recalled that day and how his emotions had clouded his judgment.

“No…” All Might uttered.

Tch… Damn villains…” Kan-sensei growled.

“It’s as I feared… I take it that’s the main reason why you traveled back in time? To prevent One For All from being stolen?” Nezu asked.

“No… It’s one of the reasons for sure, but that isn’t the main reason… I… I can only say that society fell to Shigaraki and Japan was decimated, reduced to ruins and a shadow of its former self.  Japan became a playground for villains and a struggle for survival for civilians with only a few of us heroes fighting the Liberation Army.”

“What about the other nations, or heroes across the globe? Surely they would have come to our aide if things were truly as bad as you claim them to be?” Midnight asked.

“I thought so too, but when I escaped from their clutches, I ended up joining my classmates… at least those who were left… and they told me that Star & Stripes was killed and that was when we learned that no one was coming to help us… We were on our own,” Future Izuku answered.

“So, you came back in time to change the future, correct?” Aizawa asked, as Future Izuku nodded in response. “And I take it you aren’t going to tell us what exactly happened to each of us are you?”

“Sorry… but I can’t… It’s just too much… I can fill you in on certain events, but everyone’s deaths… I can’t, it’s just too painful to recall and some of you, I’m not even sure how you died, ” Aizawa sighed in response.

“You really are a problem child.”

“Sorry…” he said, looking down.

“So… What is your plan?” The young man’s head lifted up towards the tired man, who looked at him with a serious but concerned look on his face. “You told us this information for a reason, meaning you have a plan or at the very least an idea of what needs to be done?”

“Y-Yeah I do…”A smile began forming on Izuku’s future counterpart, which in turn made him smile since he hadn’t seen him smile even once since he had arrived in the room.

*Creak*

“It’s going to take a bit to explain everything that needs to be done, but there is one small detail that I’d like to address first, if you all don’t mind?” Future Izuku asked, turning his gaze towards his younger self. Mouthing the words “Open the door” quietly, while pointing towards the door.

Izuku wasn’t sure as to why, but seeing as everyone in the room had nodded, giving him the okay, he swiftly opened the door and Kendou had stumbled into the room, giving everyone a sheepish grin. “Uh, this… this isn’t the restroom… I must have… taken a wrong turn…”

“K-Kendou?!” Izuku stuttered confused.

“Kendou, I thought I told you to go home,” Aizawa sighed. “How much did you hear?”

“And please don’t lie, I can tell with my quirk if you are lying or not,” Tsukauchi stated as his eyes narrowed.

“N-Nothing much, just that Midoriya sitting on the bed is from the future, and how he’s come to prevent a lot of horrible things from happening, and about the guys who attacked the USJ and how there’s this villain named All For One who made a quirk called One For All and how it was passed down to All Might and how it was eventually given to Midoriya… But… yeah not much,” Itsuka answered, feeling completely tense as everyone stared at her. “I know I shouldn’t have eavesdropped, but I just wanted to know if Midoriya was okay, the one on the bed I mean, since this Midoriya next to me was in the hall talking to me earlier. I thought, maybe he was his younger brother,”

“Please, I promise I won’t tell a single soul, just… Please don’t expel me?” Kendou pleaded, clasping her hands together and closing her eyes tightly.

“I-I don’t think you should expel her,!” Izuku shouted suddenly. “S-She had good intentions, a-and I think we c-can trust her!”

Izuku wasn’t going to allow this nice girl to be expelled when she’s also trying to be a hero like him. It would go against everything he worked towards and considering she said she wanted to be friends with him, he’d be a pretty bad friend if he didn’t at least try to help her out.

“Ohhh~ Is this the start of a high school romance?~” Midnight cooed as the young teen’s faces turned bright red in response.

“How bothersome,” Aizawa uttered, annoyed.

“Miss. Kendou, there’s no need for you to worry… I believe I have an excellent solution that’ll be beneficial to Midoriya’s growth and our visitor’s plan quite nicely,” Nezu said, a smile forming on his lips as his gaze turned towards Future Izuku who had a similar smile on his face.

“If you’re thinking what I’m thinking, this will actually help a lot,”

“W-What’s happening?” Izuku & Itsuka both asked, they’re faces still a bit red.

“Oh, don’t worry, Ms. Kendou, I have the perfect assignment for you,” Nezu said.

Two Days Later

With school back in session, Izuku had a lot to process after the insanity that occurred on Saturday, but at least some good came out of it in the form of a new friend. Although, seeing the look on her face would say otherwise as Kendou walked beside him to his class.

“I’m really, really, really, sorry that Principal Nezu transferred you to my class,” Izuku apologized for the umpteenth time as the red head gave a light chuckle.

“It’s fine… you don’t have to keep apologizing, Midoriya, it’s my fault for listening in on what was supposed to be a private meeting between you & your brother, and the faculty,” Itsuka answered, giving a defeated sigh. “Honestly, but things could be worse, at least I’m not in the same class with Monoma anymore, he can be a bit of a prick at times.”

“Well, you’ll definitely get along with everyone in my class, and at least you won’t have to worry about Mineta since he’s going to be in your class from now on,”

“I’m getting a bad feeling… what did he do?”

“H-He’s a… uh… he’s a pervert… Which is probably why, future me-Oof!” Suddenly cut off with an elbow nailing him on the side of his arm and a glaring ‘did you seriously forget’ look from the red head. “I-I mean b-brother… S-Sorry…”

“Dude, I get it… this is a lot , but you seriously need to work on your acting skills, because there is a lot riding on this you know?” Kendou reminded him, and he knew that she was right.

“Y-Your right, it’s just… I suck at lying, and how I even managed to keep All Might’s secret is a miracle, but adding all of this time travel stuff, and having to keep it a secret from all of my friends is hard,” Izuku explained, already feeling overwhelmed with guilt.

“Hey, you aren’t in this alone anymore, you have the teachers and me now, so don’t sweat it mop head, the least I can do is help you out,” Kendou smiled, rubbing his head playfully before realizing his hair was very fluffy and soft. It wasn’t long before they were entering the classroom, and were suddenly greeted by a cheerful, bubbly, brunette.

“Hey, Deku! Good Morning!” Ochako called out to him, running up behind him. “Hey, we didn’t hear back from you on Saturday. Where were you?”

“Oh, well… I a-actually… made a n-new friend,” Izuku gestured to Kendou, who smiled.

“I’m Kendou Itsuka, I was in Class- 1B, but I was transferred to your class, because… supposedly, I was originally supposed to be in Class- 1A,” she explained to the short brunette as she extended her hand out.

“O-oh, it’s nice to meet you,” Ochako, reached out and shook Kendou’s hands. “S-So h-how did you two meet?”

“Well, you see, I actually-”

“Move out of the way, Deku!” An Ashen blonde boy shoved his way past Izuku, glaring at him and the extras that stupidly hung out with him.

“Hey, what’s your problem, you asshole!” Kendou shouted.

“Hah!? Who the fuck are you Ponytail?”

“Kendou Itsuka, your new classmate, douchebag,”

Bakugou started to growl in anger as his hands began to crackle and pop mini explosions to try and intimidate the red head. “You wanna go, you bitch!”

“BAKUGOU, THAT IS NO WAY TO YELL AT A FELLOW UA STUDENT!” Iida shouted, entering the room.

“SHUT UP FOUR-EYES!”

“Alright, that’s enough everyone, get to your seats… Aizawa-sensei will be here in a minute and you know how he is,” A deep yet familiar voice spoke and when everyone turned and were greeted by a young man who had long, curly green hair tied into a ponytail, wearing the same UA uniform like them. “Hello everyone, I’m Midoriya Amano, I’m the new T.A helping Aizawa-sensei for the rest of the year.”

Chapter 3: Oh No... The New Teacher's Assistant is Hot!?

Chapter Text

When Ochako got to UA, she was expecting to see her best friend, Izuku Midoriya and make sure he was alright, but she never expected him to walk into the classroom with some new girl beside him. She also wasn’t expecting to hear him call her his new best friend( never said this) . Ochako wasn’t quite familiar with this feeling, but seeing Izuku with Kendou, a girl that he literally only met not too long ago was getting along with him so well only made this ugly feeling inside her grow.

Kendou Itsuka wasn’t necessarily bad, in fact, she could tell that she was genuinely a nice person, especially since she was currently standing up to Bakugou of all people for him.

“Hey, what’s your problem, you asshole!” Kendou shouted at the ashen blonde.

“Hah?! Who the fuck are you, Ponytail?”

“Kendou Itsuka, your new classmate, douchebag,” Ochako honestly couldn’t believe how calm she was when she said that. The confidence in her voice and how she stood up to him without an ounce of fear.

It was kinda hot… Waitwhat ?!

The ashen blonde was suddenly turning bright red in the face as his hands began to crackle and pop miniature explosions in an attempt to try and intimidate her. “You wanna go, you bitch!”

Seeing Izuku’s face turn pale as he looked like he wanted to jump in Kendou’s place, but the red head wouldn’t back down at all as she merely rolled her eyes at him. Ochako couldn’t help but see this new girl in a light as she wished she was half as brave as she was. However, before anything could happen, Iida Tenya entered the classroom.

“BAKUGOU, THAT IS NO WAY TO YELL AT A FELLOW UA STUDENT!” Iida shouted, chopping his hands into the air.

“SHUT UP FOUR-EYES!” Bakugou snarled.

“Alright, that’s enough everyone, get to your seats… Aizawa-sensei will be here in a minute and you know how he is,” A deep yet a somewhat familiar voice spoke and when Ochako turned back to the source of the voice, she was greeted by a young man who had long, curly green hair tied into a ponytail, longhorns atop of his head, and green scales on his hands and a long tail. He was wearing the same UA uniform like everyone else. Ochako wouldn’t admit this to anyone, but she liked what she was seeing.

“Hello everyone, I’m Midoriya Amano, I’m the new T.A helping Aizawa-sensei for the rest of the year. I hope that we’ll all be able to get along with one another,” He said, smiling at each and everyone of them. It was a gentle smile, very similar to her Izuku’s and those eyes, they were very similar to his, but they were slitted and had speckles of red in them. Ochako felt like if she stared directly into them for too long, they could swallow her whole.

Wait a second, he said his last name was Midoriya?!

However, before she could say anything, Ashido was suddenly leaping out of her seat and pointing at Izuku accusatorily “Midori! Why didn’t you tell us that you had an older brother!”

“O-Oh, w-well… y-you see I just-”

“What.The.Fuck!” Everyone’s attention was suddenly on Bakugou who was fuming, his teeth gnashing together as his hands began to shake. “What the hell is going on!?”

“K-Kacchan… L-Listen-”

“DAMN IT DEKU! WHO THE FUCK IS THIS GUY!? I KNOW FOR A FACT YOU DON’T HAVE A DAMN SIBLING!”

“Actually, he does… Bakugou… You know about our dad right? Hisashi Midoriya and how he’s a sleaze ball, right?” Future Izuku spoke, standing between the two boys, looking down at the ashen blonde. “He left for work in America and that was where he met my mother, and well… apparently he’s been sleeping around with a lot of women. Well apparently Izuku here is my half-brother, but I don’t like that word. He’s my brother and as long as I’m here at UA, you better behave yourself, the last thing you want to do is have Aizawa expel you, right?”

Bakugou wanted so badly to yell at this guy in front of him, call him a liar and a fraud, but everything he did say about his dad was true. He’s heard the old hag complain about him before with auntie Inko before. So not only did he now have to deal with Deku, but an older, and more infuriating version of him. Not wanting to get into trouble, he instead just scoffed and marched back to his seat with his hands in his pockets as he plopped down.

“Good choice,” Future Izuku said, coughing as he adjusted his tie. “Anyway, Aizawa-sensei will be here soon, and I figured I’d get introductions out of the way early.”

So Future Izuku bowed his head, and Ochako couldn’t help but feel her cheeks reddened as she took her seat. Despite the awkward introduction, no thanks to Bakugou being an ass about it. She couldn’t help but imagine that if this was how Izuku’s brother looked now, she could only imagine how charming and handsome Izuku would be in a few years.

“So Manly!” Kirishima shouted, grinning at the older Midoriya. “I didn’t think Midoribro had an older brother!”

“Agreed, but life is full of surprises regardless,” Tokoyami added.

And apparently some of the girls thought the same as they looked back and forth between the two Midoriyas.

There are two Midoris!? One is cute and the other is hot! Oooh this is going to be so much fun~ Mina thought mischievously, swooning as she didn’t quite realize that she was staring at the older Midoriya.

Yaoyorozu Momo, Class-1A’s vice president couldn’t help but feel her cheeks suddenly heat up as her eyes were glued to the exotic young specimen of a man standing before the class. They really do look alike… They even have the same diamond freckles on their faces… why was it hot all of a sudden—

The sound of the door clicking took everyone out of their trance, as Mr. Aizawa had entered the room, still wearing a cast around his arm wrapped up against him. Seeing everyone in their seats was a nice surprise to see already knowing who was responsible as his eyes fell on Future Izuku.

“Good Morning, Aizawa-sensei, glad to see that you are looking a lot better, Kero,” Tsuyu pointed out.

“The old lady was a bit rough with her treatment,” Aizawa stated. “However, my wellbeing is irrelevant at the moment… As you may have already figured out, we’ll be having two new students in this class from here on. There was a mixup with the placement of students in each class, so I expect you all to get along with her from here on out. Secondly, despite my refusal, The Principal thought it was in my best interest to have a TA in class to assist me,”

“I’ve never really been one for introductions, but the two of you, go ahead and introduce yourselves properly. It doesn’t really matter to me, just be sure to wake me ten minutes before the bell, and not a minute before,” Aizawa added, pulling his sleeping bag from under his desk and slipping inside of it as he laid down in the corner.  “I’ll leave the announcements to you Midoriya,”

He never changes even after everything I told him huh? Future Izuku thought to himself. “ Ahem… Well, since introductions are in order, would you care to start us off?”

“S-Sure Midoriya-san,” Itsuka stuttered, her cheeks a little red as she composed herself. “My name is Itsuka Kendou, and my quirk is “Big Fist” it allows me to enlarge both of my hands to a gigantic size. It’s a pleasure to meet you all, I’ll be in your care,”

“Thank you Kendou, you can take your seat behind Izuku. Now I’ve already introduced myself, but I suppose a proper introduction is in order. My name is Midoriya Amano, I am the new teacher’s assistant and my quirk is called “Chimera”, giving me the ability to transform into a large beast,” Future Izuku introduced himself, bowing his head for a moment.

Tch !” Bakugou scoffed, his arms folded as he turned his head away in annoyance.

“So what year are you in?” Mina asked suddenly, her hand raised high in the air.

“O-Oh… Uh… I’m in m-my third year, but I needed the extra curricular for college when I graduate,” The older Midoriya answered awkwardly, he wasn’t expecting that question so suddenly and so soon no less.

I’m so glad, Yaoyorozu and Kacchan came up with my backstory, but I wasn’t expecting questions like this so soon. I gotta keep it together, the last thing I need right now is to accidentally reveal anything to anyone else.

“Anyways,” Future Izuku continued. “For the next three weeks, all of you will be pushing yourselves to the absolute limit in preparations for the Sports Festival,”

“Uhm… Are you sure that’s a good idea?” Tsuyu asked. “I mean, UA was attacked by villains recently,”

“Well, originally, they were going to continue with the Sports Festival as planned in a week, but Nezu felt it was best to push back the festival for another three weeks. That gives everyone time to train,” Future Izuku answered, his gaze falling on his younger self. “Use this time wisely to push yourselves, because you’ll need to give everything you’ve got when it begins.”

Immediately, Izuku knew that look his future self was giving him. It was going to be a long three weeks of hellish training to master One For All. He knew he needed to get better with it, and this was the perfect opportunity to truly get a grasp on it. Izuku couldn’t pass up this chance to get better. However, what if he couldn’t get it? What if his future self thinks he can’t do it? What if he decided that he was a lost cause? What if-

“Hey, Iz- Midoriya? Are you okay?” Itsuka whispered, lightly tapping his shoulder, gaining the greenette’s attention.

“O-Oh… Y-Yeah, j-just n-n-nervous is all…”

“Hmm… I don’t think that’s it, come on, what’s up?” Itsuka asked, wanting to help her new classmate.

“W-Well… I just… I have horrible control with my quirk and I’m… n-not the best at f-fighting,” Izuku replied, feeling ashamed to admit that to his new friend and she’d abandon him, but before he could even dwell on those negative thoughts, he was soon met with a flick to his forehead from the red headed girl.

“I can already tell from the look on your face that you think that I’m thinking something negative about your quirk, or something like that, right?” Itsuka asked quietly, while Izuku gave a weak nod in response. With a deep sigh, she leaned in closer and whispered. “I’m going to help you with your quirk, you have nothing to be ashamed about, okay?”

Izuku couldn’t help but feel his face turn several shades of red from how close she was to his ear and unbeknownst to him, he wasn’t the only one who noticed how close she was to him. Ochako began to get that same uncomfortable feeling in her chest again as her eyes narrowed at the red head beauty sitting behind her best friend.

Meanwhile, Mina couldn’t help but grin at the potential romance that was brewing between Kendou and Midoriya, but at the same time, she had this feeling of tightness in her chest that was aching at the sight of them. She wasn’t quite familiar with it, but she decided to ignore it for the exciting new romance drama happening before her eyes.

However, while Mina and Ochako were deep in thought, Momo couldn’t help but blush at the sight of the two teens whispering to each other like in her school romance novels. Oh how she wished she could experience such a thing herself, now feeling a little bit envious of Kendou getting close with Midoriya. Even though she hardly interacted with the greenette, she knew that despite how shy and introverted he was, she could tell that he was a gentleman, unlike Mineta, who was thankfully transferred to another class.

While all of this was going on, Future Izuku was looking at the time on his phone and figured it was time to wake up the sleeping Aizawa as class was going to end soon. Quietly walking towards the sleeping man and bending down, he gently nudged him awake with his hand.

“Aizawa-sensei, class will be ending in ten minutes…” Future Izuku said.

“Hmm… Alright, I suggest you all head to morning class with Midnight,” Aizawa muttered, slipping out of his bag. “Make sure you all push yourselves these next few weeks. Remember that the Sports Festival will be streamed nationwide. So do your best, ”

“Yes Aizawa-sensei!” The class said in unison.

As Izuku began to pack his things for their next class, he started to remember the conversation he had with his future self and the UA Staff on Saturday.

“I’m Midoriya’s what now?!” Kendou asked, confused by Nezu’s new assignment.

“As of now, you’ll be Mr. Midoriya’s bodyguard starting today,” Nezu replied, smiling as the two teens looked at each other and back to him with confused looks on their faces.

“I-I d-don’t think t-that’s n-n-n-necessary sir,” Izuku stuttered, waving his hands in refusal. It was already bad enough that most of the UA staff were in on the secret of One For All, but having Kendou involved in anyway would be dangerous and he didn’t want that kind of burden placed on her. “I-I’m s-sure if we ask her n-nicely… she won’t say anything a-and as long as we don’t bring it up-”

“Now hold on a second. What are you implying here?” Kendou asked, her eyes glaring at the green haired boy.

“I-I just don’t want a-anyone to get hurt… I’m not implying anything!” Izuku panicked, not wanting to cause a misunderstanding.

“Izuku, I don’t think you understand what’s happening here,” Future Izuku stated, standing up from the gurney he laid in. “Kendou already knows everything about One For All and the future that I at least shared, and considering I didn’t really have anyone aside from All Might and Bakugou to confide in and help. I pretty much had to figure everything out on my own and because I stupidly decided to fight on my own… I lost One For All, and everyone I cared about got hurt.”

“I-If that’s true then wouldn’t it be better to just keep it between us and the staff here that way-”

“It’s because I kept it a secret that everyone I cared about got hurt… All For One and Shigaraki knew exactly how to hurt me. They went after my friends, everyone… If I had told at least my closest friends… maybe they’d still be alive… maybe they could have helped me with One For All and I could have gotten stronger with them by my side.” Future Izuku sighed with deep regret in his eyes as he continued.

“Believe me when I say that I understand where you are coming from, because I’ve been there ! I’m you after all,”

Izuku tried hard to find some way to argue, but considering who he was talking to, it was difficult to come up with a counterpoint to his own argument. It was already difficult enough trying to keep One For All a secret, but with his own future self time traveling and making things more complicated, he didn’t know what to do at this point.

“You should listen to yourself, my boy, One For All may have been my quirk, but it is now yours to wield and you can choose who to entrust this secret to,” All Might added, not giving the boy the chance to find an excuse. “I believe that young Kendou may be able to help you along your journey… Someone you can talk to that is closer to your age. We’re not telling you to tell the whole school, but if there are people you can trust to keep One For All a secret, then it’s ultimately up to you.”

Seeing the looks on all of the teachers' faces and All Might’s words resonating with him, he couldn’t help but feel tears well up in his eyes as he nodded his head in agreement. Meanwhile, Itsuka sat there in her seat in silence as she took the time to really let everything settle in as she went over everything in her head.

So, All Might actually looks like this most of the time, because of the injury he got to his stomach and he passed his quirk down to Midoriya… Which he’s still trying to learn how to control… but not only that, his future self traveled back in time to stop something horrible from happening in the future. I may not be the strongest student here at UA, but I know I can help him out and if we work together… Maybe we can both get stronger.

With new resolve in her heart and determination, Itsuka had made up her mind to help Izuku get stronger and change the future. Standing up from her chair, she walked over to the greenette and placed a hand on his shoulder. When his head turned, she saw that he still had some tears forming in his eyes and she got a good look at how his eyes were shining like green emeralds and came to a singular conclusion.

Shit! He’s adorable!

“L-Listen Midoriya and listen well! I’m going to do everything in my power to help you change the future. I may not know everything about you, but I really do want to help in any way that I can!” Kendou said, her face slightly red, but was still filled with determination. Something that Izuku knew all too well and he had a distinct feeling that there was no arguing with her.

“O-Okay… I’ll trust you…”

“If you can help this knucklehead from ending up in my office too often would be very much appreciated, deary,” Recovery Girl stated, causing the young boy’s face to turn red in embarrassment while Itsuka started to giggle.

“Now that we got that all out of the way, we are going to need details of everything that has occurred in your time.,” Nezu interrupted, getting them back on track.

“Be as detailed as possible, the more info you can give us will help us come up with a strategy to actually stop the league and their benefactors,” Aizawa added.

“Right, I already told you about Hosu and the Hero Killer, and I may have skipped a few things, but I should start with my encounter with Shigaraki at the Mall,” Future Izuku then began to tell everyone about what came after.

From his encounter at the mall with Shigaraki to the Summer training camp and how the secret location was leaked by someone and how they had gone after Bakugou and how UA’s reputation was dragged through the mud for failing to protect their students, much to Nezu’s regret and disappointment. From there, he explained how he and his friends went out of there way to rescue Bakugou from the league while All Might and the other heroes were planning to rescue him and capture the League of Villains at the same time, which inevitably lead to All For One finally coming of the shadows to fight All Might.

In a final clash, their fight ended with the greatest villain behind bars and the greatest hero retiring, and passing on the torch to Future Izuku and due to All Might’s retirement the crime rate began to rise as villains started to come out of the woodwork and this was where he began to tell everyone about Eri and her quirk… and what she had endured at the hands of the Yakuza Boss, Kai Chisaki, known as the villain Overhaul.

His younger self felt sick to his stomach when he told him about what he did to her and what he’s currently doing to her even now.

“This Eri… And her quirk Rewind… Is that what you used to travel back in time?” Nezu asked.

“She’s the reason why I’m here… The truth is… I wasn’t supposed to be here by myself… Eri was supposed to be here with me, but during the jump, we got separated… I-I don’t know where she is or if she’s even in this time period,” Future Izuku strained, feeling anger at himself for not hanging onto her. “I wouldn’t be here without her help, and she’s already been through so much. I-”

“Midoriya, you don’t have to worry,” Aizawa said. “We’ll help find her… both the future and the present Eri’s.”

“T-Thank you…”

“I know this is a lot, but we need you to keep going,” Detective Tsukauchi said.

“Right…”

Continuing with how Overhaul was using Eri’s quirk to make bullets to erase quirks, made everyone’s stomach churn in disgust at the type of monster Chisaki was. It was somewhat a relief when he told them that he had defeated him with the help of Eri’s quirk and how his hands were removed by Shigaraki. However, Sir Nighteye, All Might’s former sidekick died in the hospital. Seeing the grimace look on the Number One Hero was all he needed to know that he had regrets and this was the time to change that and reach out to his former sidekick.

Future Izuku explained that One For All had begun to evolve and how he’d eventually unlock six additional quirks and that those quirks could be what they need to defeat Shigaraki, but he never had the chance to unlock all of them when he told them about the War against the Paranormal Liberation Army.

“Now… Everything I’ve told you up until this point has been important, but nothing is more important than this… The War against the Paranormal Liberation Front, and Shigaraki’s rise to becoming the most powerful villain the world has ever seen.”

“The events of Hosu, the summer training camp, Kamino Ward, and Jaku Hospital. These are known as “Paradox Points in Time” key events in time that have impacted society and our history going forward.” Future Izuku began to explain. “Everything I’ve told you, every one of these events are tied to our history in time. From what Hatsume and Mo-Yaoyorozu told me, changing these moments can stop a whole chain of events leading up to my confrontation with Shigaraki.”

“If we can stop Shigaraki, before the start of the second year… We can prevent the deaths of so many innocent people,”

“This has been quite informative… Which is all the more reason for Mr. Midoriya to have an escort with him during school hours. So in order for things not to seem too suspicious, we’ll be moving Miss Kendou from Class 1-B to Class 1-A and say that there was a mistake in the class organizing system.” Nezu explained, earning an exasperated groan from Kan-sensei.

“What! Now hold on a damn second! Why are you poaching one of my students and putting them in Eraser’s class!?” Kan shouted in anger.

“Now, don’t you worry Vlad, we’ll be swapping students from both classes so the number remains even. Eraser, can you tell me who has the closest seat to Mr. Midoriya?” Nezu now looking at the shaggy haired man.

“Bakugou Katsuki sits in front of him, Mineta Minoru sits right behind him and Sero Hanata sits right next to him,” Aizawa replied.

Nezu began to stroke his chin as he thought for a moment about the best course of action to take. “I believe that Mineta Minoru will be the perfect candidate to switch places with Miss Kendou.”

“What!? You can’t honestly expect to put that troublemaker into my class!”

“Why not? I believe it would be beneficial to his growth into becoming a full fledged hero if he were in a class that could better tame him. If anyone can control him without any issues, then you are the best suited for the job. Also if I recall correctly, you mentioned that there is a student who is quite religious, am I wrong?” The chimera asked the blood hero, who scoffed irritatedly, but nodded his head in response.

“Shiozaki Ibara, she’s a smart girl, if not a little too wound up with her religion, but she’s a good kid.”

“Excellent! Then I see no issues with switching these two students immediately~” Nezu said cheerfully as he clapped his paws together. “Now, I suggest you & Miss Kendou head home Mr. Midoriya, it is getting quite late and I’d hate for your families to start worrying about you. As for you, Midoriya, I believe you are going to need an alias while you are here, and I’d like to go over some immediate plans going forward.”

“Oh! I can actually save you the trouble of forging an alias and history for me sir. Nezu and Kacchan in my time, already forged a new identity for me, while I am here,” Future Izuku replied immediately, pulling out a wallet and unfolded it, to reveal his new id-card and hero license that revealed…

Amano Midoriya,

Age 17, Date of Birth: August 4th 2X12

Hero Name: The Chimera Hero: Viridian

Quirk: Chimera

“Good to know that I’m still around to help in the future,” Nezu replied, smiling as he looked at the craftsmanship of his future self’s work.

“W-Well… T-That’s good…” Izuku replied, his eyes soon narrowed as he realized something. “W-Wait… it says that you kept mine-your- our last name the same, why?”

“Bakugou suggested that actually, since our dad was in America sleeping around, it would be best to keep the last name and pose as your half brother who came here for extra credit for college, and it would be believable.” Future Izuku explained.

“He suggested it?”

“Yep, and the reason why is because of him… He’s the only one here at UA that knows you the best, and he’ll know that you're lying, so he came up with this backstory himself, with Nezu filling in the blanks and adding additional information. Yaoyorozu and Bakugou pretty much had to spend the last few weeks getting me to memorize everything, while working on my ability to keep a straight face,” he replied.

“Oh, that makes sense I guess,” Izuku said, still unsure if that is the best course of action.

“I get it, you don’t want to lie to anyone, it isn’t who you are, but right now, we need to keep things quiet for a little while, you can tell those you trust about One For All, but if the wrong people find out that time travel is possible, could lead to dire consequences.” Future Izuku emphasized the importance of the secrecy of his visit from the future. “Kendou will make sure to hammer this into you, right?”

“R-Right… I said I will do everything I can to help,”

“Good, now with that out of the way, you two should probably get home now, you guys have a lot to think about,” Future Izuku said, giving the two first years a smile as he ushered them out of the nurses office.

“Hey Midoriya! You okay?” Kirishima called out to him, snapping him out of his deep thoughts. Realizing that he was in the locker room changing into his gym uniform for heroics with All Might.

“H-Huh!? O-Oh, sorry! I guess I zoned out for a second, what were you saying?”

“He was saying that it was pretty cool that your brother was going to be helping out in class from now on. I mean, honestly, I’m not surprised you were zoning out, since your big brother pretty much came to school out of the blue, but he looks like a cool guy!” Kaminari complimented, unaware that he was complimenting his future self, but Izuku kept that to himself.

“I must say, I too wasn’t expecting you to have a brother, but judging from your reaction from class, you didn’t seem too surprised.” Iida pointed out as he finished putting on his uniform.

Izuku started to feel a little nervous as his fellow men all had their eyes on him, excluding Bakugou, who had already slipped into his gym uniform and left. “W-Well, that’s because I met him on Saturday… A-And it was… shocking… I honestly don’t know what to feel really,”

“Well, I’m sure you’ll get used to each other soon, after all, he came all the way here right?” Kirishima suggested, grinning at the greenette.

“We all better get out to the field, we don’t want to keep All Might waiting for us,” Iida reminded them, already going ahead as Izuku and the others followed.

By the time he got outside, he had expected to be meeting All Might and the others, but what he wasn’t expecting when he got out there was seeing Bakugou, suddenly pinned to the ground face first with Kendou crouching over him, her foot pinning his right hand while she had his left hand up and twisted, aiming it in the opposite direction.

“Take it back!”

“Get off me! You stupid bitch!”

What the hell happened?!

Notes:

This surprisingly took a little longer than I expected, but I did it! I think I did a good job explaining key events that occurred while also keeping some things... secret until later on. I will reveal everything in due time, so do you all worry. I hope you all enjoy this chapter, because I am just getting started. :) Have a lovely day everyone!

Chapter 4: To Get Angry For A Friend

Summary:

Bakugou recalls everything that has happened ever since he arrived at UA. and he decides that it's about time to put the new girl in her place and prove to Itsuka and everyone else that he's the next number one hero. Or at least that's what he thought was going to happen.

Notes:

I hope you all enjoy this chapter, it took a lot longer than I thought it would, but I think it turned out pretty well, despite the length of this chapter.

Chapter Text

Katsuki Bakugou was destined to become the next number one, the greatest hero the world has ever seen. Every single extra was just a mere stepping stone on his path to greatness. He had worked hard over the years, crafting his perfect back story, planning to be the only person from his crappy middle school to make it into UA High. Up until his final year, everything had been going great. Nobody had dared to challenge him until his final year of middle school.

However, that was all ruined by the greatest shit stain known on this side of the planet. Izuku Midoriya, better known as Deku because of how useless he is, ended up taking the UA High entrance exam and getting into the hero course. If that wasn't bad enough, Deku had humiliated him during their first training exercise. For years, Izuku had been getting in his way, and somehow, he now had an older brother that was doing the same thing!

Midoriya Amano, Deku’s older half ass brother apparently from what he explained. As much as he wanted to deny that he was lying, his story about coming from a different mother after being cheated on made a lot of sense considering how the old hag told him about Deku’s dad being a cheating scumbag. He hadn’t interacted with him much, but he could already tell he was going to be just as irritating as Deku, if not more so. This guy had the balls to threaten him!? That was unacceptable, but he couldn’t do anything since he was the hobo’s assistant.

He’ll put up with him for now, at least until the hobo decides to send his useless ass packing. What he needs to do is get ready for All Might’s class and show the new extra that he’s the top dog of this class. As Katsuki slipped into his gym uniform, he immediately made his way out to the field for his heroics class with All Might. Whatever they were going to do, he was going to crush every single one of them.

Which brings up the next pain in the ass currently, the new girl that had switched places with the perverted midget. Kendou Itsuka, some random extra who was from Class-1B. She had some nerve to insult him! HIM?! The next number one hero who was destined to surpass All Might. She should be bowing down to him and begging for forgiveness, but no what really pissed him off the most were her eyes. Those damn teal eyes that glared at him when she stood up to him only made his blood boil with rage. No one except for his mother had ever looked at him like that and got away with it.

He won’t deny that she had some guts, which he could respect, but it didn’t change the fact that she was hanging around with Deku of all people was really starting to piss him off. He was just a piece of shit that didn’t belong in the hero course, and yet he couldn’t understand why she was sticking around him? She was new to their class, so she obviously didn’t know who was at the top and who was at the bottom, but he’ll show her her place. Maybe once she realizes how worthless Deku was, she’d leave his sorry ass.

As he waited for All Might to show up, he saw the extras coming out. Not that they really mattered to him anyways. However, when he saw her come out with the rest of the girls right behind her, he couldn’t help but sneer at her as he listened in on whatever stupid conversation they were having.

“So you were the president of Class B?” Mina asked, smiling cheerfully. “That’s so cool!”

“Hehe… All I really did was knock out Monoma when he kept going on and on about how our class was superior when he was supposed to give a speech about why he should be the class rep, and the rest is history,” Kendou explained sheepishly.

“Well… I for one think you're awesome! The way you stood up to Bakugou was so awesome! The look on his face was priceless!” Mina gave her a thumbs up with a wink, causing the taller girl to blush a bit while rubbing the back of her head. Bakugou made a mental note to get back at the pink idiot in the future.

“Yeah, it was pretty badass of you to stand up for Midoriya,” Kyoka added.

“Y-Yeah, well he’s a good guy and Bakugou is an asshole for trying to pick on him,” Kendou started to explain, frustrating the ashen blonde as he listened. “Honestly it really started to piss me off when he called him Deku,”

“O-Oh… H-How come?” Ochako asked, feeling nervous for some reason.

“Well, when I talked to Midoriya, he mentioned that the name was an insult, saying that it meant “Useless” and it’s the furthest thing from the truth. He’s a good guy who’ll be a great hero someday,” Itsuka answered, unaware the shorter brunette had become stiff all of a sudden as the other girls all looked surprised. Bakugou on the other hand wanted to vomit at the crap that was coming out of her mouth.

Yet, why did everything she said start to resonate with him?

He didn’t like it one bit.

“That’s what the name means?!” Kyoka asked.

“As if Bakugou wasn’t vexing enough already, and the fact that he’s been- it’s just- I should have noticed something was wrong. I’m a terrible vice president,” Momo scolded herself, rubbing her arm.

“That jerk!” Hagakure shouted.

Itsuka realized that she was suddenly bringing the mood down when she really should be trying to get along with her new classmates. “S-Sorry girls, I wasn’t trying to make everyone upset or start a manhunt. I just… Midoriya is a good guy, and even though we barely know each other, I’m glad I can call him my friend,”

“Wow… I guess I wasn’t wrong when I said you were a badass,” Kyoka said.

“Yeah, I think you're a really nice person,” Tsuyu added, placing a finger to her chin as she smiled.

“Me too!” Ochako blurted out suddenly, feeling her cheeks redden more. “I-I mean I think you're pretty cool for defending D-Midoriya… I really should be more like you,”

“Oh geez… I appreciate the praise, but you don’t have to feel like that Ochako, I’m sure you would have done the same thing,” Itsuka commented, smiling at the shorter girl.

“We should probably start warming up ladies until All Might gets here, the last thing we’d want is to strain ourselves without properly stretching,” Momo suggested, walking ahead of the group with Kyoka following behind.

“Yeah, I should probably start stretching my legs, kero,” Tsuyu said, following behind them, while Mina and Toru followed behind them, leaving Itsuka and Ochako alone with each other.

“Soooo… If you want we can do our stretches together if you’d like?” Itsuka asked, awkwardly.

“Yeah, sure, I don’t-”

“Oui!” Bakugou shouted, cutting off the brunette as his eyes locked onto Itsuka. “You and I aren’t done! You’re gonna take back what you called me this morning!”

“Sure, after you apologize to Midoriya,” Itsuka stated bluntly, placing her hands on her hips.

“Fuck that! You’re going to take back what you said now or else!” Bakugou threatened, the palms of his hands began to glow as small sparks began to pop and crackle.

“Did you already forget Midoriya-senpai’s warning to you this morning? You really want to get yourself into trouble?” Itsuka glared back at him, wondering what the ashen blonde was thinking.

“Do you think you're better than me!? You can pretend all you want that you belong here, but you don’t! You’re just a Class B reject that only got into this class by mistake! You didn’t face villains like the rest of us did!” he shouted, stepping closer to the red head. Itsuka was reminded that she wasn’t there at the USJ attack. She didn’t face villains like they did, even though they were never supposed to in the first place. She wanted to rebut that, but no words came out.

Clenching her fists in frustration, she held herself back from decking the explosive pomeranian. Even though Bakugou was an asshole, somehow, his words were resonating with her. She hasn’t proven to anyone that she belongs in this class, or shown anyone that she can hold her own against villains like Class A did. Even Mineta helped from what Izuku had told her, and he was known as a perverted coward.

Maybe… He’s right…

“Got nothing to say!? Ha! Maybe now, you’ll start taking things seriously, and stop hanging out with that weakling, Deku-” Bakugou was suddenly cut off when Ochako stood between him and Itsuka..

“Leave her alone Bakugou!” shouted Ochako.

“Fuck off, round face! This is between me and her, and I don’t need your weak ass getting in my way!” Bakugou growled.

Ochako didn’t know why she was standing up for Itsuka when she had just met her this morning. She really didn’t want to like her and it also didn’t help that she had been with Izuku for half the day, leaving her out. However, after spending some time with her and getting to know her, she came to understand why Izuku was spending time with her. Itsuka Kendou was one of the coolest girls she had ever met and even if what Bakugou said was true about her not facing villains, she could tell that Itsuka is trying her absolute best and that she really did belong here.

“Ochako… just forget it, he’s not worth it,” Itsuka said, placing a hand on the shorter girl’s shoulder. “We’re not going to stoop down to his level,”

Not wanting to argue anymore, Ochako nodded and began to walk away with Itsuka following right behind her. However, the explosive pomeranian wasn’t going to let them go so easily. Especially after she said he wasn’t worth it.

“You fucking bitch! Don’t turn your backs on me! You think you can look down on me like that worthless Deku!?” Katsuki shouted, this time though, Itsuka stopped when she heard that name again.

Turning back to face the ashen blonde, her eyes glared daggers as her hands clenched tightly into fist. Seeing him smirk at her, she knew that he was trying to get a rise out of her and pull her into a fight. She knew this, but hearing that damn name only made the anger inside boil more.

“You keep calling Midoriya that name… Why?”

“Hah!? What does Deku have to do with this!?” Katsuki’s eyes narrowed at the mere mention of the greenette.

“Answer. Now.” Itsuka demanded, walking up to the ashen blonde.

“Why the hell should I answer you!? Deku is nothing but a worthless piece of shit! A fucking pebble! Why would anyone care about a useless- ” Katsuki answered, and what happened next, caught even him off guard when he was suddenly in the air for a moment before his face was planted straight to the ground forcefully by the red head.

Having heard enough, Itsuka had grabbed the ashen blonde by the collar of his shirt and threw him over her shoulder and slammed him as hard as she could while pinning him down. Using her foot to hold his right arm down while she grabbed hold of his left arm and gripped it tightly while aiming it in the other direction, twisting it.

“GRRRRAH! GET OFF OF ME!” Katsuki screamed out in pain and anger.

“Not until you take back what you said about Midoriya!” Itsuka grunted, holding the ashen blonde down as she tightened her hold on his arm.

“LIKE HELL I WILL-AHH! FUCK!”

Itsuka’s glare hardened as she started to bend his arm backwards. Unaware of her new classmates looking at the conflict in horror as Bakugou struggled to get out of her hold, wanting to use his quirk to blast her, but doing so would cause his arm to break if he went at full blast due to the position it was currently in. No one, not even Yaoyorozu tried to intervene as she was too stunned by the sudden fight that broke out. The ashen blonde tried to use his legs to push himself up, but Itsuka had a tight hold on him and wasn’t letting up.

“K-Kendou!?” Ochako uttered out.

“Take it back!” Itsuka shouted in anger.

“GET OFF ME! YOU STUPID BITCH!”

“Kendou! Get off of Bakugou this instant!” Iida said, arriving on the scene with Izuku coming up right behind him.

“KEN DOU !” A deep voice bellowed, snapping the red head out of her anger as she looked up to find Future Izuku arriving on the scene, his form towering over everyone, as he walked up to the two students that were on the ground. His wings flared out as his eyes turned a deep crimson red. “ Ge t o ff h-H Im N O w!”

Not wanting to anger the chimera, she immediately let go of Katsuki’s arms and immediately got off of him. Once she did though, Bakugou immediately got to his feet and snarled in anger. Future Izuku, began to revert back into his normal state as his wings folded and returned inside him. “Ahhh… I hate transforming… hurts every time… What happened here?”

“I-”

“She fucking attacked me is what happened!” Katsuki shouted.

“And you’re telling me you didn’t do anything wrong at all to provoke her?” Future Izuku asked, raising a brow as he folded his arms. Bakugou however could only scoff in annoyance as he held his tongue.

With a sigh, Future Izuku shook his head as he pinched the bridge of his nose. Even if he wanted to, he couldn’t exactly give punishments since he wasn’t a home room teacher or an actual teacher. He should have expected the ashen blonde to pick on Kendou since she was new to their class, but stupidly he thought his warning early was enough. “Both of you… I’ll be reporting this to Aizawa-sensei after class. All Might will be here soon, so for now I’ll be separating you two until he gets here.”

Despite wanting to explain herself to him, the look in the older Midoriya’s eyes told her that she shouldn’t protest. Not wanting to anger the chimera further, she walked over to Izuku’s & Ochako’s side with her head hung low.

I guess I should have expected this to happen. At least younger me looks a bit relieved that I stepped in, but I’ll really have to talk to him when it’s just the two of us. He thought to himself, unaware of the looks he was receiving from some of the girls with one thought going through their minds.

He’s the villain we saw that day!? Mina, Ochako, Tsuyu, & Toru all thought as they had recalled that day.

Notes:

So I want you all to know that this is the very first-time travel story I have ever written so bear with me for the time being. I can't promise that I'll post constantly, but I can promise you that each chapter will be worth the wait.

This will be a poly story as this story will have a heavy focus on romance. Despite it focusing on changing important events, I can tell you that this story will be one to remember my friends.

Also do point out if I made any mistakes and I am always happy to take suggestions.
