In Los Angeles, CA
At one of the warehouses.
Inside of the warehouse.
(Someone getting beaten up on by a murder suspect that The LAPD have been looking for and this suspect just happens to be someone whose the main suspect in the 2011 Ghostface killing sprees. And this one person is obsessed up with Sidney Reed-Prescott and their victim being the good friend that his is refusing to tell them where Sidney and Kirby are.)
Kincaid: Where the hell are they Buchanan?
Mark: I don't know.
(He punches him again sending his head to the side and Mark laughs at him.)
Mark: You can beat on me as much as you want.
Kincaid: Okay.
Mark: You're never going to get me to tell where Sidney and Kirby are.
(Kincaid laughs at him.)
Kincaid: Not even to protect your District Attorney friend? What's her name Maggie?
(Mark looks at him and laughs.)
Mark: You're really gonna try use Mickey Haller's wife against me. Wow. You must really be desperate to find Sidney and Kirby.
(Kincaid punches him again sending Mark's head to the side as he grabs one of the tools he has and stabs Mark in his leg getting him to scream out in pain then he pulls the knife out and pushes down onto his leg getting him to whine alittle in pain.)
Kincaid: Now where the hell are Sidney and Kirby Reed?
Mark: I don't know.
Kincaid: And if you did?
Mark: I'd never tell you.
(Then he gets punched again sending his head to the side.)
Mark: Gees what is it with you and the punching?
Kincaid: I could always draw my blood.
(Mark looks at him as he stabs him shoulder getting him scream out in pain again then he pulls the knife out of his shoulder and then puts it into his side getting him to lean over in pain from the latest Stab wound. Then he twists it getting him to wince.)
Mark: Ahh.
Kincaid: Tell me where they are.
Mark: I've are ready told you I don't know.
Kincaid: I know you're lying.
Mark: Maybe I am. Maybe I'm not.
(He Stabs Mark again in his stomach getting him to whimper In pain and he continues on with this.)
Meanwhile.
Outside of the Warehouse.
(Will and his team along with the LAPD. As they pull up Will quickly gets out of the Hummer and rushes towards the warehouse.)
Kirby: Sawyer!
Will: My bestfriend is in there I'm not waiting one more fucken second.
(Kirby laughs at him along with Trevor who rushes off towards the warehouse along with his men and the police behind them.)
Inside of the warehouse.
(They can hear Mark getting beaten up on and rush towards him.)
Over by Mark.
(They've got him out of the chair and are beating on him hearing people coming he looks at them and then he hears gun fire going off around him and seeing all of Kincaid's men going down and sees him run off.)
Mark: Trev Kincaid just ran off.
(Both him and Kirby run off after Kincaid to try and stop him from getting away from them.)
Outside.
(Kincaid's getting to his car as he gets thrown into it and hits face on it sending him back to the ground he turns to see who it is and gets annoyed as he kicks him in the face knocking him unconscious once he's out he looks down at the man on the ground annoyed.)
Mickey: Bastard.
Back inside.
(The gun fire stops and Will rushes to his friends side.)
Will: Mark!
(Mark's lying there badly beaten and bleeding.)
Mark: Ow.
(He looks at him and laughs.)
Mark: Will he was trying to get me to tell him where Sidney is.
Will: Did you?
Mark: No.
Will: Okay.
Mark: He tried to use Maggie against me.
(Will looks off annoyed as he looks at Wallace who looks like he wants to kill his former partner.)
Jay: Shit.
(They notice the Paramedics arrive to take Mark over to the hospital.)
Minutes later.
(The Paramedics rush Mark into the hospital as a doctor rushes up to Them and starts looking Mark over as she's looking him over he comes too and looks at them.)
Mark: Where am I?
Doctor: You're in the hospital.
(Mark nods his head at her as he passes out again.)
Doctor: Let's get him into Truama. And then into the OR.
(They rush Mark into the first room and start looking him over.)
Out in the waiting room.
(All of Mark's friends are sitting there waiting for news on Mark. As their waiting Dewey and Gale rush into the waiting room followed by Sidney and Maggie.)
Sidney: Kirby!
(She looks up at her wife and rushes over to her as she gets to her she hugs her as Mickey rushes over to his and she hugs him getting him to bury his face into her neck.)
Maggie: He's gonna be okay.
Mickey: I know.
(She kisses his head then pulls away from him as he kisses her getting to smile in it then he pulls away from her.)
Maggie: Hey.
Mickey: It was Kincaid.
(She looks at him and then to Sidney who looks off annoyed.)
Sidney: Shit.
Maggie: Yeah.
Hours later.
In the waiting room.
(All of Mark's friends are still sitting there waiting for news on Mark as the doctor walks out and over to them.)
Doctor: Family for Mark Buchanan.
(Sidney stands up and walks over to her and laughs when she sees who it is and laughs.)
Sidney: Sarah!
(She looks at her and laughs.)
Sarah: Sidney Prescott! Or is it Reed now?
Sidney: It's actually Reed-Prescott.
Sarah: Oh wow.
Sidney: Yeah. Anyway. How is he?
Sarah: He lost lost a lot of blood due to his Stab wounds the beating he took.
Sidney: Shit.
Sarah: But he did make it through his surgery he makes it the next twenty-four hours I believe he'll make a full recovery.
Sidney: Okay. Can we see him?
Sarah: He's in recovery right now. When we get him into a room. We'll come out get you.
Sidney: Okay thank you.
Sarah: You're welcome. But he did say something before I put him under.
Sidney: What he say?
Sarah: He wanted to know how Trevie's tree wife is doing?
(Sidney looks at her and then looks over at Trevor who has his head down as they start laughing.)
Jill: Yeah babe. How is your tree wife doing?
(Trevor looks at her as Kirby Olivia and Robbie fall over laughing at his face.)
Trevor: You all suck.
(They continue to laugh until Sarah walks off.)
Sidney: Did he hit on you too?
Sarah: No. Should I be worried?
Sidney: No. If he does it's just because he thinks you're a gorgeous woman.
Sarah: Good to know.
(They start laughing as Sidney's still laughing at brother in law/cousin in law.)
Trevor: It's not funny.
Jill: It really is babe.
(Trevor looks at his wife and then off pouting which only makes them laugh even more at him.)
Jill: You're so cute when you pout.
Trevor: I know.
(She smacks him getting him to laugh at her.)
Later that day.
In Mark's hospital room.
(He's still alseep after coming out of surgery. As he's sleeping Sarah walks in and over to hid machines while looking them over Mark starts coming too and turns to look at the woman next to him.)
Mark: Hi.
(She looks at him and smiles.)
Sarah: Hi. How you doing?
Mark: I'm okay. I hurt a little right around my stomach.
(She puts the clipboard down then grabs some gloves and puts them on. Once the gloves are on she moves blanket and looks under his gown and looks at his wounds.)
Mark: Has anyone ever told you that you're a very beautiful woman?
(Sarah looks at him and laughs.)
Sarah: My ex did once.
Mark: Bastard.
(They start laughing then calm down.)
Sarah: Yeah he really was. Anyway. Your wounds look to be okay. You might of just pulled them a little in your sleep.
Mark: Okay. You're a gorgeous lady.
(Sarah laughs at him.)
Sarah: Thank you.
Mark: You're welcome.
(She smiles at him as they continue to talk and while Mark flirts with her getting her to laugh. Over the next couple of weeks that Mark's been in the hospital recovering he continues to flirt with Sarah who tries to keep from laughing and tells him that she doesn't date her patients. Which got Mark to nod his head at her.)
Mark: Okay.
Sarah: But you are cute.
Mark: Why thank you.
Sarah: You're welcome.
(They both continued to talk until she walked out of the room. To go and continue on with her rounds.)
Acouple weeks later.
In Mark's soon to be old room.
(He's finishing getting ready to go and sleep in his own bed as one of his friends walks into the room.)
Will: Hey.
Mark: Hey.
Will: I was just out there talking with your girlfriend.
(Mark looks at him and laughs.)
Mark: She's not my girlfriend.
Will: But you have a crush on her?
Mark: I do not.
(Will looks at him and laughs.)
Mark: Okay. So I do have a crush on her so what? She's are ready told me she doesn't date patients.
Will: You do realize that once you walk out that door. She's no longer your doctor and you're no longer her patient.
(Mark looks at him and laughs.)
Mark: True.
(Then the woman herself walks into the room and over to him.)
Mark: Am I good to go?
(Sarah looks at him and nods her head at him.)
Sarah: You are. Just sign here.
(She points to where she wants him to sign. Feeling Mark so close to her Sarah smiles at him as he finishes filling out what she wanted him to. He hands her a piece of paper and she opens it then starts laughing.)
Sarah: Wow.
Mark: Sorry.
Sarah: No. It's fine.
Mark: Just in case you wanna get some coffee sometime.
Sarah: Okay.
Mark: Are right. I'll see ya.
Sarah: Yes you will.
(He smiles at her as they both walk off to take him home. As he walks out with his pain meds. Sarah looks at his number and smiles as she pulls her phone out and calls it.)
Outside of the hospital.
(Mark and Will are walking towards his car.)
Will: Nothing like just handing her your phone number.
Mark: I couldn't help it. She's pretty.
(As they get to his car Mark leans on it.)
Mark: She's different.
(Will looks at him confused.)
Will: What?
Mark: Sarah she's different from my last two girlfriends. Don't get me wrong. I loved Sidney a lot. She made me happy. So did Raven until fucken Kincaid killed her.
(Will looks at him and feels bad for him.)
Mark: Sarah's I don't know.
Will: Mark!
Mark: I really like her man. It's not because she's my ex girlfriend's double it's not that.
Will: your face lights up alot more when she's around.
Mark: Yeah. She's someone I could actually see myself settling down with.
(Will laughs at him.)
Will: Well then you should go back in there and ask her out in person.
Mark: I think I'll do that.
(He goes to walk back into the hospital when his phone goes off he grabs it out to see who it is.)
Will: Who is it?
Mark: I don't know.
(He answers the phone.)
Mark: Hello!
Sarah: Just checking.
(Mark laughs on the other end.)
Mark: It's my real number.
Sarah: I know that.
(Mark continues up to the hospital talking to her as Will laughs at him.)
Back inside.
In Mark's old room.
(Sarah's still on the phone with Mark talking and joking around with him. As he walks up to the door and knocks on it getting her to turn and look at him.)
Sarah: Hey.
Mark: Hey.
(He hangs up and walks over to her. As he gets to her she grabs him in and kisses him as their kissing Mark smiles in it then she pulls away from him.)
Mark: That was a really good kiss.
Sarah: Thank you. Once you're completely healed maybe you'll see what I look like under all of these clothes.
Mark: I can't wait.
Sarah: Neither can I.
Mark: Just one question.
Sarah: What's that?
Mark: Will you go out with me sometime?
Sarah: Yes. When?
Mark: What time you off?
Sarah: I'm going on lunch soon.
Mark: Lunch it is.
(She smiles at him again as their kissing Mark deepens it then she pulls away from him as his phone goes off. He grabs it out to see who it is. Seeing the number he looks at Sarah. Confused but answers it.)
Mark: Hello!
Kincaid: Do you really think you and your new girlfriend are safe?
(Mark hearing his voice turns towards the window and sees a red dot on Sarah's back.)
Mark: No.
