   The first man, Jason Todd, does so out of love, hatching a plan to send 'anonymous' love letters to Dick confessing his feelings, trying to fulfill a romantic fantasy of Dick's.
   The other man, a stranger to them both, has malice in his desire - Dick will be his to own, at any means necessary.
