Chapter Text

Spyro was looking around with stealth elf. There had been a report of a crash of some kind on this island but so far they'd found no sign of anything or anyone having been on the island. A rustle in bushes caused Spyro to turn around and step towards the bush, as he got closer a small feathered tail followed by a body came out. The small, Kitten?, came out of the bush fully it was pulling what looked like a peice of a ship, he didn't know what it was.

"Hello?" Spyro says, causing the small thing to jump and turn to look at him, it tenses then relaxes a bit "are you apart of the ship that crashed?" It stares at him confused and before it answers the ship part pushes into it and another small bird cat thing pushes it further before noticing him and stopping "there are tw-"

"Spyro did you find anything yet" stealth elf calls out before walking around the corner and stopping when she sees the small creatures.

"I found these little guys and whatever there trying to move" Spyro says

"Well that means at least someone survived," stealth elf crouches down to the little things "do you two little guys need some help?"

They look at each other before one of them turns back and nods at her. Stealth elf reaches down and picks up the piece of what she assumes was a ship.

"Follow" one of the small feathered creatures says as it flaps its wings and flys just In Front of Spyro and stealth elf. They follow them until they land, right next to a third the three small birds rub against each other

stealth elf crouches down again
"where do you little things want this?" She asks holding the piece out. The third one comes up and sniffs it before opening it's beak and making a loud squeaking sound. The sound of flapping feathers are heard before a much larger version of the small things they've been communicating with spears next to them.

"You found it" it said, voice sounding like a proud parents

"Um, who are you?" Spyro asks, they turn there head at him curiously and is about to say something but elf elbows Spyro

"Please excuse my friend, my name is stealth elf and this is Spyro we found your these little guys trying to carry this somewhere" elf says as she motions towards the Children and holds out the piece. A minute passes before anyone else says anything

"My name is sonic boom, thank you for helping my children" she says.

" We're here to investigate a reported crash of a ship. Where you one of the crew of the ship that crashed?" Elf asks

"Ah yes you could say that, everyone on the ship is fine, we simply have to find some of the broken parts and put the ship back together" sonic boom says "may I have that part?" She asks. Elf holds out the piece and she takes it.

“Do you and the rest of the crew need any help?” Stealth elf asks “we could help you fix your ship”

“No no it’s ok we have more than enough hands on deck to fix our ship, thank you for helping my children. We must be going now please have a nice day” sonic boom picks up the part , turns and leads her children back the way she came.

“She was nice” Spyro said “but we should go back and tell the others”

Stealth elf nods and they both turn and leave back to the academy.

Chapter Text

Spyro and stealth elf walk into the grand library. Eruptor, pop fiz and jet-vac where sitting and talking with eon.

"Did you guys find anything?" Stealth elf asks and they all turn to face them

"Not much honestly just a bit of debris, what about you two find anything interesting?" Eruptor replies. Spyro comes closer and sits down Infront of them

"We found these small little bird things and there mum, they where collecting stuff, she said they where apart of the crew of the ship that crashed." Spyro explains. Jet-vac stares at him before asking

"Are you sure you stayed in your search area"

"Uh yeah why wouldn't I" pop fiz stares at him

"Well I thought I saw you around our search area, it looked like your tail atleast" pop fiz says. stealth elf steps forward.

"Spyro was with me the entire time, we stuck to our search area." She says. Everyone stares at each other before turning to eon. Silents sinks in before Spyro asks

"Could there be another dragon?" he steps closer "could they of been on the ship that crashed" eon stares at Spyro before signhing

"I think there is a chance it could be another dragon but it could also of been nothing." Spyro lowers his head a bit, eon sighs, "but it couldn't hurt to try and find out what it was, you should all go and search for it tommorow for now go home and sleep." The Skylanders nod and head home to wait for the next day to start a big search.

Chapter Text

Sonic boom walked back onto the dread-yacht, everyone was attempting to put the ship back together. She walks up to cali and drops the part next to her.

"Cali, we found a peice of the ship" Cali turns and looks at her before reaching down and grabbing the peice and examining it.

"Well Flynn will be happy, you managed to find another peice of the music box" Cali puts it back down before addressing sonic boom again. "I know it's getting late but do you think you could make another trip to search for more"

"I'm afraid I can't, I need to set a meeting with the rest of the Skylanders I've found some information about where we are" sonic boom replies as she herds her children towards a cabin. "And if you see any of the others tell them to avoid Persephone's cabin" Cali nods as sonic boom leaves. 

Cali goes back to fixing the ship until the sound of wet feet come closer to her, she turns around. Gill grunt and trigger happy both pushing a part of the engine. Cali smiles 

"You found the engine block!" Gill grunt smiles at her.

"Do you want it anywhere specific?" He asks 

"No, not right now, we'll move it later when the ship is a little bit more structurally sound" gill grunt nods "oh also sonic boom told me to tell you to avoid Persephone's cabin, also she is going to set a meeting soon" 

"If it's a meeting then we should go to the games room and kick everyone else out" Spyro says as he lands down near the others. "I brought a peice of the music box," he says sliding over the peice to Cali. Before Cali can say anything else Spyro, gill grunt and trigger happy all headed off towards the games room.

"Ok now that everyone is back were gonna get started, I was out and found two Skylanders," sonic boom says "while this may seem normal the problem is they looked and sounded exactly like Spyro and stealth elf." 

"Like exactly exactly like us?" Stealth elf says from her place on the sky stones table.

"Yes" sonic boom replies "but they weren't you, they where both two small to be"

"Ok so that's just more evidence for this being an alternative dimension" Spyro says. "Tree rex, Ninjini, as the two oldest Skylanders here currently do you have any ideas on what to do?" The two giants look to each other before addressing the group.

"We continue to fix the ship and asses the area and Skylanders who live here" Ninjini says

"Then if it's safe we find a portal master and get them to help us get home" tree rex continues "if everyone agrees that is" silence fills the room for a moment before sounds of agreement fill the cabin. 

"Alright then everyone rest tommorow we continue our search for parts of the ship" Spyro says before everyone departs

Chapter Text

The next day, the sun rising over all of Skylands. Spyro was sitting outside the house waiting for the others so they could start the search for another dragon, if it really was that.

"Come on let's go" he says when the others all come out

"Spyro its still early we have all day to search" eruptor replied 

"I know but what if it disappears before we can ask it any questions?" He looks at the others "besides arnt you all a little curious too?" The others nod and they all head back to where pop fiz had seen the dragon tail.

They explored around the area finding small bits of scrap metal, some disturbed plant life a couple footprints until pop fiz called everyone over to him.

"Look what I found," he said pointing to marks on the floor. Stealth elf crouched down.

"Looks like someone pushed a really heavy thing, I bet if we follow these marks we might find the other dragon." She said before standing back up. They all looked at each other before Spyro ran ahead and called back at them

"Then what are we waiting for let's go!" So the four followed the tracks along. After a while of walking they came to a large clearing. There was even more pieces of scrap around the clearing and some of the trees on the perimeter had small holes in them that looked like they'd hit the trees hard and fast. 

"This place is weird" eruptor said

"Yeah, and what's with the puddles" Spyro added "it hasn't rained recently, has it?" He asked, everyone shook there heads. Suddenly a fireball flys at them, elf moves out of the way just before it hits her.

"What the heck was that!?" she asks, but before any of the other can answer her a stream of fire come out and separates them into groups of two. They follow the fire back to its source and see a dark feathered creature with bright orange at the tip of all its feathers, it almost apeard to be glowing. The stream of fire stops and the thing stares at them, they all stare back.

"Um hi there I'm sorry are we intruding on your home?" Eruptor asks, instead of a reply the thing disappears before reappearing behind them and shooting more fire out of its beek. The four young Skylanders just managed to move out of the way of the blast.

"You know I think this guy wants to fight" Spyro says, the others all nod as they all get into attack stances. Stealth elf runs and manages to hit the bird with one of her knives. In return it hits pop fiz with a fire ball sending him back a little bit. They all continue to attack, until a ball of magma lands right on Spyro's tail, he recoils in pain as the new thing steps out. The four young Skylanders stare for a moment before pop fiz asks 

"Eruptor i-is that you!?!" 

"It's not me me" he replies, before anyone can say anything more the two dark creatures continue there attack eventually driving the young Skylanders up against a particularly large tree. Just before either being can atack again they get hit by a ball of fire that knocks them back, shortly after a purple blur rams into them at top speed, the bird falls back before seemingly evaporating

"One down one to go" the stranger says turning all their attention onto the dark Eruptor. "Come and get me you knockoff" the dark Eruptor runs and shoots more magma at the purple dragon, the four young Skylanders watch as he takes it down with relative ease. 

"Woah" eruptor says, the figure stiffens suddenly remembering the reason he came down there in the first place

"Who are you?" Spyro asks excitement and awe in his voice the larger dragon turns to him still silent. "Where did you come from? What's your name?" Spyro asks 

"Woah Spyro calm down a minute" stealth elf says "let the guy reply before you ask more questions." The larger dragon regains his composure and takes a breathe before saying 

"Id love to answer your question but I can't not without lunch atleast" he says, the younger Skylanders looks between each other then back at the larger dragon

"That can be arranged"
