Chapter Text

NightMare Moon’s slitted eye’s shrunk at the sight of the Draconequus shedding its Unicorn disguise like a Changeling. All the other ponies around them gasped in surprise and fear as the monster of chaos snaped its claw and NightMare Moon felt herself enveloped by its magic and powerless to escape. “Where is she!” It hissed at her menacingly drawing her muzzle to muzzle with a snarl. “Where is who?” NightMare Moon replied in fear forgetting herself. “The Princess, tyrant! Where is she, NOW!” The Enterty slamming the dark alicorn to the ground.  “The Sun. She’s on the Sun!”

“How do we get her back!?” At that question NightMare Moon came to her sensers realising this Draconequus wasn’t the same as Discord. A wicked grin replaced the fear on her face and she began to laugh uproariously. “You don’t know how to, do you?” Then NightMare Moon took advantage of the Chimera's hesitation blasting her in the chest with a spell before turning to mist and darting out the door. “Twilight!” A baby Dragon exclaimed as he rushed out of the crowd towards the downed Draconequus.

The other ponies in the room looked confused and looked about to bolt before the guards there calmed everypony before somepony got hurt. Twilight got up and dusted herself off. “I’m fine spike, we’ve got to find out where she is going.” Twilight snapped her claw and they were teleported back to the library. Feeling Spike sway next her Twilight caught him before he could fall over, the Chimera placed Spike in his basket and tucked him in as he started to doze off.

He was just a baby dragon after all and Spike had been up all night. Twilight looked out the window to the night sky outside then to her claw wondering if she could move the moon, the Draconequus had never tried moving any of the celestial bodys before, if there was any time to find out if she could, Now would be the time.

Raising her claw Twilight drew in a deep breath and felt the world loom over her and snaped her claw. Magic Sparked between the two digits Twilight having to grab her wrist with her other claw as pain shot up her arm, a cyclone of magic swirled around her until the spell was complete! For a brief few moments, it was day again before it was back to night once more. Twilight collapsed to ground panting, trying to catch her breath.

Rainbow Dash was about to barge into the library to confront the monster that had been parading itself around town as a fake unicorn when suddenly a storm surrounded the library and the windows started to shoot out light! Night became day and then returned to night. “Hang on their suger cube, you don’t want be barge'en on no magic critter that can take on somepony as dang strong to wrangle with somepony like there Nightmare.”

Applejack had finally caught up the rainbow speedster 3 other ponies following behind. “Maybe we just need to approach with some manners, she was looking for the princess, maybe she’s on our side.” Rarity said knocking on the door. “ooo, oh, didn’t you also notice that the guards didn’t react at all, it’s like they know her.” Pinky enthused. Thay all waited a second to see if anypony or anything would answer the door. “Maybe there’s nopony home?” Flutter Shy Shakely said. Rarity knocked again before AppleJack pushed the door open. “Oh, hi there, the library is not open at the moment, he he he.” (Thump.) There laying on the floor was the creature they had seen at town hall. It was a lot more intimidating when it had Nightmare Moon in its clutches.

Twilight could feel that her energy was slowly coming back. She needed another way to defeat Nightmare Moon if she could so easily escape and she wasn’t going try and wrestle with the night and day, not if Nightmare Moon could so easily change it back with so little effort. Then Twilight remembered something that she was studying. “Elements,” the Chimera muttered to herself. Twilight ignored the ponies that where in her door and quickly got to her feet not caring if the town thought that she was a monster, she had more important thing to do, like save her mentor a pony who wouldn’t judge her for what she was.

Twilight snaped her claws once again trying to cast a search spell the Draconequus wincing at the pain rolling up her arm as a few books fell off their shelves the other ponies in the room flinching at the use of Twilights magic. “I’ve never seen no magic like that there before,” Applejack whispered into Rarity’s ear having been the most travelled out of the five of them. “Elements, elements, elements,” Twilight repeated over and over looking through the books by claw. “Neither have I deer,” replied Rarity.

“The Elements of Harmony, a reffence guide,” announced Pinky. “How did you find that!?” Twilight shouted her wide slitted eyes spooking the others. “It was under Eeee,” Pinky singsong’ed. “Umm, Twilight… You’re still Twilight, aren’t you?” asked Flutter Shy timidly. The Chimera lifted her nose out of the book. “Yes, I am still Twilight Sparkle?” replying with a raised brow. “Then what are you and why were you pretending to be a unicorn!?” Shouted Rainbow getting in her face. “First of all, I’m a Draconequus and second, the reason I was unicorn so wouldn’t be treated how I’m being now.” Twilight growled back showing her sharp teeth, Rainbow Dash backing off with wide eye’s.

“What a Draconequus?” Asked Pinky Pie with a tilt of the head. The Chimera losing her aggression answered, “As far as I know a Draconequus is a physical embodiment or spirit of an element, a little bit like what I am hoping to find in this book. The only Draconequus that I know to have existed was Discord the Spirit of Chaos which the royal pony sisters defeated with vary Elements I’m looking for.”
Rarity pointed to a description in the book, “it says here that last known location of the Elements of Harmony are in the castle of the royal pony sisters located in…” “The Everfree forest!” They said together, now standing outside said forest.

“Weee, lets go.” Enthused Pinky starting to bound into the dreaded woods like it was a game, “Not so fast,” then with a snap she was back to where she was standing. “Awww.”
“Look I really appreciate the offer but I’d rather do this on my own.” Twilight said not wanting others to come in harms way. “No can do sugar cube, we ain’t letting any friend of ours go into that creepy place alone.” Applejack said warming the Draconequus hart that they thought her as a friend. “Not that I don’t think you can’t handle it yourself if don’t mind,” Flutter Shy said shyly. “we’re sticking to you like caramel on a cany apple.” “Especially if there’s cany apples in there." "..." "What, those things are good.” Pinky said drooling at the idea.

Twilight was asking about the Everfree when the cliff below them gave out! Flutter Shy and Rainbow already in the air started flying and dived down catching Rarity and Pinky, Applejack sliding down the cliffside then grabbing a root with her teeth to stop her descent. Worried one of her new friends was going to get hurt Twilight offered her help to get down to the ground. “Don’t worry I got this,” The orange mare said though her teeth, letting go of root to slide to edge of the rockface before leaping from ledge to ledge to get down.

Rainbow was boesting about how her and Flutter Shy caught her friends when they were Attacked by an angry manticore. 4 of Twilights friends began to fight the Everfree predator the other Chimera herself raising a claw ready to conger rope to bind the beast when Flutter Shy jumped on her arm. “Wait,” The Draconequus raising an eyebrow. “Wait,” the yellow Pegasus said again trying to get her friends attention. “Wait!” She finally yelled braking up the brawl. To everyponys surprise Flutter Shy subdued the manticore with words before it rolled onto its back and the yellow mare pulled a thorn out of its paw. On the way to the castle, they passed disfigured trees and an upset sea serpent who was very kind, Rarity trading some of her tail to calm him down, when they finally reached their destination.

Nightmare Moon had been watching and trying to influence the ponies to leave but didn't try anything too big less that Draconequus catch her again while weaving a stronger spell, she had barely escaped last time they fought, seeing the Chimera repair the long fallen bridge with nothing but a snap the dark mare knew it was only a matter of time before they reached her. Nightmare squeezed her brain for a way to defeat a monster that had plagued them over 1000 years ago. And neether did Nightmare think when she had gone ageist her sister so long ago that herself would be facing an enemy that would require the vary Elements that she had separated herself from that had put her on the moon in the first place.
Then Nightmare had an idea, an awful idea, a wonderful awful idea.

“The Elements of Harmony, we found them,” announced Twilight. The Elements were sphere stones in lined with a gemstone each of Twilights friends drawn to a stone that resonated with them, each pony pulling one the stones off its pedestal holding them out to the Draconequus. “Theres only five where is the sixth?” Pinky pointed out. “The book said, when the five are present, a spark will cause the sixth Element to be revealed.” Answered the Chimera snaping her claw to levitate them over to herself and nothing happened... Twilight was confused snaping her claw again and again. “Huh, that’s weird?” The Chimera trying her magic on an old brick it levitating into her palm with no trouble. Uproarious laughter echoed through the hall “What’s wrong, chaos beast can’t get the Elements to work for you,” Nightmare mocked putting all the ponies on guard. “Come out so I can put a hoof between your eye’s or you just a coward show yourself,” Rainbow shouted jabbing at the air in a boxer’s stance.

“Oh, I shale Foal,” retorted the night alicorn. A tornado of blue mist came through the opening in the ceiling, the dark alicorn appearing inside. Rainbow charged only to be sucked up the turbulence Nightmare Moon moronicly laughed at her boldness. Twilight was about to snap her claw to catch the black mare when said alicorn interrupted her. “I wouldn’t do that if I where you fool, not when I have your so called friends hostage.” Entrapping the other 4 mares in the room all wile Nightmare cackled. “Anything happens to me will happen to them.”
“Twilight don’t worry about us, just defeat Nightmare! … Preferably before I puke!” Shouted Rainbow her voice dipping in out as she span around. “You’ve got all of Equestria to save sugar cube! Shouted Applejack. “No, I’m not going to lose anypony else!” Twilight shouted back snapping her claw one last time. “Twilight what are you doing!?” Shouted Rarity as the Draconequus began to glow. “I know how to power the Element’s!”
“How? You don’t have the sixth, What are trying at fool, you know your magic can’t affect the Elements,” Nightmare said narrowing her eye’s. “I may not able to use the Elements, but they can, Pinky Pie, Laughter, Flutter Shy, Kindness, Applejack, Honesty, Rainbow Dash, Loalty and Rarity is Generosity,” cried the Chimera in pain. Nightmare realised what the Draconequus was doing when the eye’s of the other mares began to glow. “That spell will kill, you would sacrifice yourself for these worthless foals,” Nightmare said in panic. “Yes,” replied Twilight. “Twilight don’t!” Flutter Shy cried. “Let me be the magic that bonds you together, goodbye my friends,” Twilight said before being hit by the five Elements, a rainbow beam arcing up before coming back down striking Nightmare Moon! “Nooo!”

“Ugh, my head,” Rainbow said rubbing her head. “Everypony okay?” asked Applejack. “Where’s Twilight?” Flutter Shy cried. “What’s this?” Pinky asked picking up a purple star like gem. “Look, you’ve got a necklace and that gem is like the one in yours,” Rarity said. “You’ve got one too,” Pinky said. “We all do,” Applejack said. “I’m betten that one would been Twi’s,”
They all then noticed there where two new ponies amongst them. It was the Princess and she was talking to a smaller younger blue alicorn. The young one out of the two gave the Princess a hug before the Alabaster Mare approached the other ponies, the smaller mares bowing. “I thank you the bearers of Harmony for releasing me, but I must ask but there are only five of you here. Where is the sixth bearer?” asked the Princess. “Our friend, she, sniff, she sacrificed herself to save us and, and save you,” Applejack replied, failing to hold back tears in front of her Princess. “This is all we have left of her,” Pinky said, sadness emanating from the pink pony as she held out the Element of magic to the Alabaster Alicorn.
“I see, I think I know how to resolve this,” The Princess said levitating the element. “Now my little ponies gather around and think of your friend, close your eyes and wish she was here once again.” Confused they all obeyed their Princess. “Ask your friend to wake up, wake from her slumber.”
“Please Twilight, please wake up,” Flutter Shy chanted. “Do be a dear darling and wake up for us, we all are so vary worried for you,” chanted Rarity. “Come on Sparkle it’s time to get up, I don’t want you to miss my next race,” Rainbow chanted. “Mmm, five more minutes pleas Spike,” mumbled the Element. “Keep it up girls it’s a working, rise and shine sugar cube, you don’t want breakfast to go cold, do ya,” chanted Applejack. “Wakey, wakey, eggs on bakey, your missing the party,” Pinky chanted. Celestia leaned over close to the Element and whispered to it as if it was a pony’s ear. “Now Twilight Sparkel if you don’t get up, you’re going to be tardy.”
“Ack, I can’t be Tardy!” And with a flash the Draconequus appeared smacking her head against Celestia’s chin. “Ow… Princess!” Shouted Twilight before bowing.

Celestia winced and rubbed her chin before gently giggling. "Raise your head my dear student, for if it was not for you and your friends I would not have been reunited with my sister." The older alicorn pulling in the younger into a hug.

"Hay! You know what this calls for... A party!" Pinky enthused, the earth pony throwing confetti into the air.

Chapter Text

Twilight scratched at the stone now embedded in her chest. It looked like her and her Element where unsepretabl now.
"I don't think that their is coming off any time soon sugar cube." Applejack said halling a barrel of apples on her back. She'd had made a bet with her brother that she could hall more apples then him with her friends, but it felt like cheating when her newest friend could just snap her claws and summon barrels of apples out of nowhere. 

"I'm really glad you decided to stay with us Twi, me n the girls would have missed ya." "Well other than with my family, Ponyville is the only other place I feel like I fit in." The Draconequus replied. Spike was snarfing down some apples on the Chimera's back when suddenly it looked like he was starting to choke thumping his. Twilight dropped him and thumped his back with a claw to clear his airway.

"Spike I've told you many times to pace yourself wile eating." Twilight said in a panic. Spikes cheeks puffed up until he belched and in a puff of flame a letter appeared. "Shoot and here I thought dragon's spat just flame not paper." Applejack said.

"Oh the princess flame mails me through Spike," Replied the Draconequus. "Go on Spike, what does it say?" "Here ye here ye, her grand royal highness is pleased to announce the Grand Galloping Gala in Canterlot we invite Twilight Sparkle and one guest." Spike read aloud.

"The Gala," Applejack shouted in amazement.  "Bleh, not the Gala." The Chimera said in descust. Spike berped and two tickets appeared. "What wrong with the Gala sugar cube, I thought everypony wanted to go to the Gala." Twilight rubbed her forhead with a claw. "Princess Celestia makes me go every year, and the ponies that attend that party are the meanest around. Thay don't like me, because thay see me as a freak. The only reason why the Princess wants me there is because it's so boring she's hoping that I will cause an insadent to happen."  She replied making quote marks with her claws.

"I'm a guess'n you lost your bit before at one of these Galas before? Shame and here I was hoping you might take me, it be good for bisness." Asked Applejack. Spike waved a claw under his chin in warning. "You're not missing much and last time Twilight lost it she turned the ponies there into Ice sculptures and let them melt." Spike stated.

Twilight coffed at Applejack's look of horror. "Their ok now, thay turned back when the magic wore off, and Spike that only happened the second time I had to go." "I'm guessing thay let things lie after that? The Earth Pony asked. "No, they just went back to how was like nothing happened, ah I hate the Gala!" Twilight said with rage, lightning arking between her horns.

"Shesh Twi, don't let me get on your bad side. I don't think I want find myself on a bad day on the end of your snaps, only to find myself inside out." Applejack said only to see a tear run down Twilights cheek. "Oh I'm sorry sugar cube, now I've gone and let my mouth run away from me." 

"I just don't want you girls to be afraid of me too," Twilight sniffed. Applejack hugged the upset Draconequus. "I ain't going nowhere sugar cube," she comforted her friend.

A snoring Rainbow Dash suddenly fell out one of Applejack apple trees and got up looking kind of drowsy. Twilight giggled at the Pegasus's dishevelled mane. "Did somepony say Gala tickets?" She slere'd.

Chapter Text

It had gone around town that Ponyville's newest resident had tickets to Gala, only to learn it was likely to end in tears and a mix mach of body shapes. "So, why don't you just tell the princess you don't want go?" Pinky asked.

"Pinky is right you know deer, you are your own mare you know," Rarity agreed, but her eyes crossed after she realized what she just said.  "Umm, thats not right,  Chimera, no, ugh, what's the polite term for female Draconequus?" Asked the unicorn.

"I just don't want to disappoint the Princess," Twilight answered, her wings drooping. "Then we just have to go with you and endure the pain along side you, even if we end up as cheese crackers on a platter." Rainbow said, faining courage. Twilight started to shed tears again, but at least they were happy one's, because she knew that she had her friends to support her. 

A quick letter to the princess and thay all now had tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala.

After a couple of days thay had found that Applejack had overworked herself after her brother had gotten hurt, and had forgotten that she had friends to help her in her time of need. A quick reminder, some elbow grece and a bit of magic and the problem was solved.

Few more days after that and a new guest had shown up in town. Gilda landed at the front door of her old flight buddy's home. The griffon accidentally poot a hole in the cloud door after knocking too hard.

A red eye peeped through the new hole in the door and an audible gasp was heard and the door opened. "Gilda it's been ages, how are you?" Rainbow Dash enthused.  "You know, been around, not much," Gilda replied, a little down. The griffon had come by because life at home wasn't too hot and she knew one pony that could cheer her up. "So what have you been doing, I herd that new night princess was a thing, you didn't get your muzzle stuck in that did you?" She asked.

"Well..." Rainbow replied, tapping her hooves together nervously. "Dash!" "Well..." "Come on Dash it's me." "Ok, ok, ok, I was involved, but I didn't get into trouble or anything." "What did you do Dash?" "Well I'm kinda of a, nashnale hero now, for, ahem, you know, saving a princess." The Pegasus spat out quickly.

"Bah ha ha harrr, how'd you manage that?" The Griffon chuckled. "Look I went into the Everfree with some friends, found some magic artefacts, shot out some rainbows and boom, new princess." The Rainbow mare gestured wildly.

Gilda blinked, "you went into the Everfree, that's kinda banging." The griffon approved. "Gah, look at the time, and you've flown all this way. Let's get a bed set up for you, I want to do some flight practice tomorrow." Dash said.

The griffon yawned," your right, it is getting late... Hay Dash you still going for the wonderbolts?" She asked as she helped her friend roll out a mattress.

"Yawn, you bet I am but I've still got some way to go," the Pegasus replied.  "I better hit the hay or I'll be sharing a bed with you, right Gill." "Right Dash, g night," "night," Rainbow said before turning off the lights.

The next day Gilda was pissed. Some pink mare had come barging on her and her friends time and now she needed to blow off some steam, so the griffon disighted to peruse the market. That's when she saw something that she had never seen before.

"Oh, how interesting, a griffon, what brings you up to these parts?" It asked. "Urr," Gilda didn't know what say, to be honest with herself she felt threatened. And that made her angry. "Oh, sorry, let me introduce myself, my name is Twilight Sparkle, you've probably never seen someone like me before, unless you've been to the Canterlot garden. I'm a Draconequus."

"Urr, go away, leave me alone!" The griffon shouted before flying off. It shocked the Chimera that she'd just been yelled at, maybe it it had been some time since Twilight have had a negative interaction. "Rude," said the Draconequus before going about her day.

Pinky wasn't a mean pony, she was the sort pony that solved her problems with a party and thing usually sorted themselves out. But this new party she was going to throw, she was going to let Dashy set all the pranks and it would be up to the guest of honour to decide if she was a true friend or not.

Chapter Text

"I'm sorry Dash that you're old friend, wasn't the way you remembered her." Soothed Twilight patting the Pegasus's back. "Yeah but, she was so mean and rude, especially to you, I'm surprised you didn't do anything to her Twilight?" Asked Rainbow.

"Why would I? just because I have all powerful magic doesn't mean I have to use it." Answered the Chimera with a shrug. 

The next day a wagon rolled into town and a mare with a star spangled hat and cloack started to set up a stage for some sort of performance. "Come one,  Come all, come and witness the amazing magic of the great and powerful Trixie!" She announced, with a puff of smoke the star spangled mare appeared on stage. Trixie had travelled all around Equestria and had seen many types of audiences, fans and hecklers a like, from angry dragon's to thieving dimond dogs, zebras and griffins. Trixie even once had seen undisguised Changeling, but there was one creature in her audience today that she'd only ever seen a statue of'v in the Canterlot garden when she was in the princess magic school. A Draconequus, a being that willed reality to its whim, or that's what the plack said under a statue of Discord, a villain the pony sisters had defeat long ago.

Trixie wondered if it was an old mares tale or something to worry about. Nightmare Moon was a wives tale and she'd had come back. But both villains had been defeated in past. Trixie had heard  tales of the princess keeping a Draconequus cub up in the palece so this may be the same one, or maybe this one was just a traveller of the tribe that hasn't been seen long since the days of Discord. Trixie just hoped that this one wouldn’t heckle her, just like the orange earth pony that was now in her face.

"Oh, come on Twilight, you got to show that bragger who's boss," Spike begged. "I said no, Spike, that mare out there is just a performer, I'll admit she was a little mean about it, but I would be cranky too if my friend's heckled me at my job." The Chimera said crossing her arms. Spike blowed smoke out of his nostrils before stomping out. Twilight just shook her head and turned back to her book, Trixie had boasted about an Ursa major in her show, and Twilight wanted to find out more about the beast.

The blue unicorn was packing up for the night and despite having some hecklers, she'd had a pretty good event. Trixie was thinking maybe she could stay in town a couple more night's before moving onto the next town when somepony was banging at her door. "Trixie! Trixie! Trixie!" It was those two annoying fan colt's from yesterday.

"What did Trixie say about not being disterbed!" The mare said. "Umm, we have a tiny problem," said the short colt. "Actuality it's a big  one," the taller said. "Why can't this wait until morning?!" Then a loud roar was heard in the distance and a giant star formed blue bear came crashing out from the Everfree forest, trampling trees in its rampage. Trixie screamed and her and the two colt's started to run, narrowling evading the beasts massive paw as it crushed Trixie's home!

Spike had come to warn Twilight about the Ursa that had just entered town when they both heard the destruction coming from outside as the ground shook! Teleporting close to the sound the draconequus and drake found two colt's trying to incorudge the out of town show mare to defeat the monster. "I can't. I made it up to make myself look better," Trixie explained. "Made it up!" Shouted the colt's. The Ursa now loomed over them about to attack when Spike poked Twilight with an elbow to get her to step in. "Fine, I'll handle it," the Chimera eye rolled. With a snap of a claw the Ursa shrunk down to size of a cat and now looked quite worried as the very ponies it was chasing now towered over the small bear. The Ursa let out a sound like a frightened bear cub and as it attempted to run back into the Everfree Twilight grabbed it by the scruff of the neck, holding the animal like a bedraggled kitten.

"Now now little one, can't have you running off into danger like this. Your mother would be very upset if anything happened to you." Twilight said as the bear let out another wimper. "Mother!" Every other pony shouted in unison, making the cub cry again at the noise. "Shhh, it's just a baby," shushed the Chimera as she cradled the Ursa, rocking it back and forth to incorudge it to go to sleep. "That's just a baby!" Trixie exclaimed, everypony around her shushing her again. "I was so intrigued by Trixie's story I did some research of myself and found that this isn't an Ursa major, but a minor," Twilight explained. " he kinda looks cute this way," Fluttershy said. " wait if that's a Ursa minor, then what's a Ursa major like?" Dreaded Spike. "Well if you want to know, you can come with me when I return this little guy," the draconequus said evilly.

Chapter Text

It took some time before Twilight to find the Ursa Minor's mother, the the Major happy to be reunited with her cub, but by the time the Draconequus got back the show mare was gorn. Before running off Trixie had boastedly vowed to revenge against Twilights friends to out show them, saying, "That monster won't always around to protect you!" Before deploying a smoke bomb and running off. The silly unicorn leaving all her belongings behind.

A few days later Spike berped up a letter from the princess about a dragon that was clouding up the sky with their smoke. The Princess also wanted the Chimera to take her friends and at least and try and talk to the dragon without out resorting to violence.

"Violence? Why would I ever be violent. Spike your a dragon, I'm not violent am I?" Twilight asked tilting her head and the letter sideways, infecting the parchment like it was hiding something from her. Spke chuckled quietly with a little fear. "Umm, I don’t know Twi, you did turn that pony into a book for a week after you learned he damaged said book." The Draconequus sent her assistant a stink eye, Spike puffing up his cheeks and looking away as he shifted his eyes between Twilight and the wall.

The Chimera let out a puff of air as her mood shifted. "You're probably right Spike. Maybe I am a little violent. The princess did say to bring my friend's so maybe they can help." "Oh FlutterShy is the kindest pony I know, I bet she would be perfect this task." Said the drake.

After gathering her friends,  Twilight stood at the bottom of the mountain that the dragon was sleeping in. "Everypony ready?" Asked the Chimera. "Yes," 4 answered. "...no..." whispered a yellow pegasus. Everyone turned their heads to her. "What's that FlutterShy?" Asked Twilight. "-I'm not ready,-" "Come on Shy Shy, what's the hold up I'm ready to throw a dragon..." Everyone looks at the pink earth mare oddly until she finished her sentence. "A Party!" Pinky shouted, making FlutterShy faint in fear.

The draconequus just shook her head before snaping a claw and a purple bubble appeared around the six of them. "Woh Twilight, I thought that we were goin to climb the mountain when you brought us said here." Applejack stated as the bubble started to rise like an elevator. 

Half way up the mountain FlutterShy woke up with an, "epp," as she saw how high they were rising above the ground. 

If you're reading this then I'm sorry but I couldn't wait any more. I wanted to get this out of my head as soon as possible.
I probably should have written all the in-between but didn't. So sorry.

On the back to the library after the warning about blue flowers from the strange zebra, Zecora, Twilight, started to feel dizzy and had trouble standing up right. When Spike saw her nearly fall over, he started to worry. "Woh, Twilight are you ok?" The Dragon asked. "I think I'll be ok Spike, just a little sleepy." Replied the Chimera. "Ok, if you say so, but call me if something happens, ok." "Ok, thanks Spike," Twilight said as she got into bed.

The next morning Spike was awoken by, bubbles? His eyes widened when saw things were in chaos! Each time a bubble would pop something crazy would happen, the furniture started running, fruit would change into different animals and back some times a mix of both, and the changes weren't jest his surroundings it effected him too! From dragon to pony, from plant to rock, from food to item, from male to female! "Spike, hic, help!" Twilight screamed from upstairs, running up the stairs and opening the door he found Twilight and She had, the hiccups? Each hiccup lead to streams of multicoloured bubbles coming out her nose and mouth changing everything but her around her. "Oh Spike! Hic, not you too," the Draconequus worried. For a brief second Spike found himself a plate of wobbly jelly and then an eggplant tree as another couple of bubbles popped next to him. All the bubbles flowing out the doors and windows causing who knows what mayhem around outside.

That morning when the Princess of Equestria raised the sun her jaw dropped at the sight of Ponyville. Celestia quickly teleported down to the castle gardens to make sure that her nightmares hadn't come true, to her shock she was only half right as a crack in Discords statue had just formed as the world around her started to change around her it got bigger. Fuzzy, Upside-down, Heavy and Slow. But if Discord was not free, The Alicorn thought to herself, who? "Oh no, Twilight!"

Discords statue prison finally brakes open in front of the Sun princess, Celestia’s eyes shrinking as one of her fears came true.  Discord grew and stretched as fireworks went off around him. "Aaaaah!" Crack! "Oi! Who knew a thousand years will give you such a crick in the neck!" Discord shouted. "Hang on a second," said the chaotic Chimera as he hang Celestia on a nearby flag pole by her royal julry. The draconequus pulled his head off, "Woh, woh," screamed Discord as he span his head around in the air before smacking it down back onto his neck! "Man does it feel good to be out of there! I'm telling ya it's nice to be back ladies and gentlemen.  Helo, hi. Oh princess it's you, what, did you miss me?" 

Then the chimera looked around in confusion as he snapped his claw and a calendar appeared and Discord flipped through it. "Wait, something  is wrong?" He said before throwing the calendar over his shoulder, the calendar explodeding somewhere off in the maze as the draconequus lifted  his furr on his wrist like a sleeve to reveal a watch. "I feel like I'm too early?" He said as he stared at the ticking hands. "Oh well," he shrugged. "I'm here now, lets have some fun," Discord said before sniffing the air, "oh Tia, you naughty girl," the chimera slapped his cheeks, "is that chaos magic I smell," Discord sniffed the air once again like it was fine wine. "It looks like I'm not the only draconequus in Equestria any more." "Discord stop! Wait!" Yelled Celestia as she reached out to stop the chimera. Discord then pulled an umbrella out from a fist before opening it above his head. "Toodle-oo Tia, I'm off to meet this miststeryos draconequus your trying to hide from me," the chimera said as he started to spin like a clock away.

Twilight sighed in releaf as her hiccups subsided as she soaked in Zecora's herbal barth. "Next time you see me, will be no joke, for chaos is no hokes," said the shaken zebra. The draconequus awkwardly giggled, "yeah, thanks Zecora, but why did my magic have no affect on my friend's?" Asked the chimera. "You're friend's where immune, because chaos had them too," Zecora answered. "So poisen joke uses chaos magic? but I'm a draconequus shouldn't I be immune too?" Asked Twilight. "That would be true, if it didn't dubbble your power too," the zebra replied.

"Oh because I mostly use normal magic my body wasn't use to the boost, so it spilled out my body... And into... The rest of Equestria... he he, oops."

Discord crashed into the ground in Ponyville, leaving a cartoon cut out of him and his umbrella in the earth. The sound of an mechanical lift could be heard from the hole in ground as the chimera was lifted out of it as he brushed the dust off himself. Discord admired the chaos that had been caused around him in amazement. "My, my, me, I feel like me and this draconequus are going to the best of friends." He said to himself. Then with a blink of an eye and a puff of a purple clouds, everyone and every thing was returned to normal. "Bleh, why'd they change it back? I liked it the other way."

Twilight was apologising to everypony around her for the chaos that she had caused when a drop of rain splashed on her muzzle. A few more drops came down before it started to rain. "Hay, we didn't have rain scheduled for today?" Stated Rainbow Dash as looked up into the rain. The clouds and rain didn't look right. The drops were brown and the clouds were pink. Pinky Pie licked the suspicious sticky liquid off her nose. "It's chocolate milk!" She shouted in joy before opening her her mouth to catch as much of the sweet rain as the earth pony could. Applejack gave Twilight the stink eye. "I'd thought you'd fix that," the farmer said. "It's not me who's doing this," defended the draconequus. "Well, could you fix it darling, this rain is ruining my main!" Rarity wined. Before the chimera could snap her claw. Pinky jumped on her arm to stop her. "No keep it this way, free chocolate milk is the best!" "I'm sorry Pinky but I'm in enough trouble as it is," said Twilight as she shook her head before shaking the excitable mare off her arm. 

With a Snaping of a claw the clouds and rain poofed out of existence. "Aww nuts," Pinky said before someone complained behind them. "Now why did you do that for? It's so boring now, a little cotton candy hert nopony." Twilight and her five friends span around to see... Another draconequus!

Chapter Text

Dun dun dunnn! Played an orchestra of ponies behind the second chimera. "Umm, who, umm, are you?" Asked a frightened FlutterShy. "I am!... Discord!" He said in an A pose with a cape, as he looked to his side, trying to look awesome. Twilights eyes shrunk in fear when she heard his name. "Bah, ha ha ha, ok Twilight, cut it out, we don't need to see your wieard fantasy of a boyfriend." The blue pegasus laughed. Discord antler snapped like a claw in annoyince and Rainbow Dash was now a fly buzzing around before landing on Applejack's nose, the earth pony crossing her eyes as she staired at her friend. Twilight didn't know if her own magic would work against an ancient enemy that terrorised Equestria long ago but the chimera was going to try anyway. Snaping her claw the draconequus was relieved when Dash turned back into a pony.

Unfortunately for Applejack the pegasus had been standing on her muzzle,  so Rainbow was now laid out atop the other mare. 

"Tut, tut, tut, there are just no games with you are there. What happened to all that chaos you were throwing around before? It's like I hardly know," Discord said coily, waveing a paper fan in his as he gave the other chimera bedroom eye’s.

"Twilight darling, do you know anything about this ruffian, he's awfully rude." Asked Rarity. The chaotic draconequus popped out of the unicorns main and slithered around her neck and up to the mares ear and whispered loud enough for everyone to hear. "What's rude is no introducing  yourself and talking about  little old me like I can't hear you." Rarity screamed and shook around to dislodge the shrunken chaos critter. "He's in my main! Get him off get him get him off!" The other draconequus reached into her friends main only to pull out a rather floppy pool noodle.

"Pfff, you should see the look on your face," Discord laughed, wrapping an arm around Twilight. "Now my dear, this has been very entertaining, but I would-, Owch!" The draconequus pulled away quickly wavering his arm that had been wrapped around the other chimera frantically after he knowtest it was starting to smoulder. "Now you didn't need to be that mean-, wait, what's that on you chest," Discord retorokly asked as he pulled out a magnifying glass. Twilight backed up as the draconequus inspected her too close for comfort, the chimera eye increased by the lens.

"Ah ha, I thought something was off, that's an element of harmony! Ouch, I've got to stop doing that," said Discord poking the gem with a claw burning his finger when he touched it. "Ah, no fair, I had a whole song and dace I was going to play, there was even going to be a riddle. Oh well chaos be as it is, unpredictable." The draconequus shrugged with an iconic smile.

"Can somepony darn explain to me who this fella is?" Applejack asked after she got Rainbow off her. "Discord is the spirit of chaos, he's a draconequus like me, he's meant be more dangerous then Nightmare Moon, the princesses turned him to stone long ago with the Elements of Harmony, but I seem to counter him just fine for some reason." Answered Twilight. "Oh, bravo,bravo, someone has been doing their homework." Discord clapped with different sound effects. 

"So we just need get the Elements and zap him back into an lawn ornament," Rainbow Dash said ponding a hoof into her others frog. "Gasp! You would reimprison me, but I've barely caused any chaos, no thanks to your lovely friend here," flirted the chimera. "We've barely had any fun, I haven't meet one of my own kind before, don't you want to get to know each other, I know I do," Discord said as he flutterd his eyelashes at Twilight. 

"We also can't get rid of him Twilight, endless cotton candy and chocolate milk, remember," Pinky Pie shouted jumping up and down wavering her forelegs in front of the draconequus to defend him. "Pinky I can do all that, we don't need him for that," explained the other chimera. "Oh yeah, I forgot, fire when ready," the pink earth mare said, bouncing back in line with her friends.

"Come on, a little chaos didn't hurt nopony," Discord said snaping a claw a nearby house being turned upside down. "My cabbages! Twilight!" Somepony shouted from inside, said draconequus giving the other a glare before snaping her claw flipping the house back upright. "He he, oopsy," said the chaotic chimera. Twilight's eye twitched before she teleported to lundge at Discord and grabbing the other draconequus by the scruff of his neck. When the Chimera's fur began to burn under her grasp, Discord let out an "eep," before he poofed into a bat and began to flutter off.

"Discord, get back here!" Shouted the other draconequus as she flew after him. "Hay, if I only knew all it took to get a pretty girl to chase after you was to annoy her, I would do it more often," said the chaotic chimera as he dodged and teleported away.

As FlutterShy, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Pinky watch the two disappear over the horizon of the Everfree as they fought, princess Celestia carage landed in town. The Alicorn quickly disembarked and galloped over to the other five mares. "Are you all alright my little ponies? Where's Twilight?!" She asked in panic. "I think Twilights got this princess," Rainbow replied as they saw the light of explosion off in the distance, as they herd the sound echo a few seconds later.

...

Discord and Twilight found themselves panting in a clearing in the Everfree that they had made during their tussle. "You done?" Asked a shaky Discord. He was hiding behind a scorched metal sheald, rubber ducky in hand raised and ready to throw at the other draconequus if she was going to keep attacking him. "Not, if, you're , going, to, keep, causing, chaos." Twilight panted back. "And I keep wondering why you don't? What are you Tia's pet?" Discord questioned, relaxing as the other chimera was back to just talking. "I'm her student, blender brain, and I use regular magic, chaos is still new to me," Twilight awkwardly blushing, thinking about when she was under the effects of the poisen joke. Discord laughed, slapping his belly as he floated. "Ah, ha ha harr, oh, so young. No wonder you're thinking like a pony, sun butt is gorn an brainwashed you, ah, ha ha harr."

"No she hasn't!" Twilight stomped her foot, the draconequus grabbed the other's tail and pulled him back to the ground. "And I think like a pony, because I was one!" Shouted Twilight. "Hay Hay Hay, watch the fur, that Element that you're fused with keeps burning me," panicked Discord trying to put out his smoking tail. "Maybe it wouldn't, if you didn't keep trying to turn Equestria into your personal chaotic playground!" scolded the other chimera. "Ok then, I'll stop trying to conker Equestria, if you go out on a date with me?" Asked Discord, a fancy dining table appearing in between them with a timber wolf waiter dressed in a tuxedo holding what Twilight guessed was a bottle of wine.

The question had through Twilight for a loop, the other draconequus had been flirting with her the whole time, but was he serious, this had to be a joke. "No way, you're messing with me. Once my friend's have the rest of the Elements your going back to being stone!" 

"Oh, you hurt an poor old draconequus heart," Discord said, desterblingly holding up the said beating organ up in front of him. "What is he to do when the apple of his eye rejects him." The chimera's tears being literally apples. Twilight was not having it and marched around the table angry towards the other draconequus. "That's it Mr, I've had it with you and your nonsense, your comming back with me to Ponyville to sort out this whole mess!" 

"But I don't want to," Discord wined. They both didn't knowtest as Twilight started dragging the other chimera that he wasn't being burnt by her grasp.

...

Princess Celestia and the other five Elements approaching the edge of the Everfree when Twilight came marching out with Discord in toe the draconequus covered in sticks, mud and leaves, looking bruised and batted. Everypony looked dumbfounded when Twilight tossed the other chimera in the middle of all them, butt in the air, looking vary defeated. "Good, I see that everypony has their Element," Twilight said, dusting off her claws. "Dame Twilight, I don’t even think we need the Elements to to defeat this guy, you've kinda already done it," said Rainbow Dash.  All the ponies except the princess were wearing their Elements, but none of made a move to activate them. "Oh please, he's just pretending," remarked the chimera before kicking the other one. Discord let out an "oohf," before standing up and dusting himself off, all the muck, bruises and grime coming off. "Alright alright, you lady's got me, oh hi Celey, got any band aids," the draconequus joked. 

"Discord, last you were free you caused havoc among my little ponies, but you still have the chance to amend your ways, will you not learn to set aside your disharmony and learn the meaning of friendship like my student?" Celestia asked. "What!" Everyone shouted. "You can't mean you're highness, you're giving this ruffian a second chance?" Rarity cried.

"We've already felt what it's like to have Twi loses control, no offence sauger cube, but we don't need dang second chimera doin it willingly with abandon," complained Applejack, the other ponies and Twilight agreed.

"Settle down my little ponies, I know you don't trust Discord but most of the damage he has done was in the past, would you blame Twilight for her past mistakes?" Everypony shook their hands at Celestia’s words, Twilight looking rather embarrassed with her encounter with the poisen joke before Discord arrived. Said draconequus cleared his throat to get the princess attention. "If I may, I would like a quick  private moment with her highness," the chimera asked. "It's alright my little ponies, friendship is a two way street after all, it would only be fair to hear him out," stated the alicorn after everyone was giving Discord the death glear. The draconequus approached Celestia and started whispering in her ear vigorously the alabaster mare replying with short answers. "Only if it doesn't hurt my little ponies." "You, what!" Discord covered her muzzle after the alicorn's shouted before he continued to whisper in her ear. "Oh, are you shore." The draconequus blushed.  "Oh, ok then, I think you want to talk to my neace then, ok my little ponies," Celestia said, shifting to talking with everyone.  "Me and Discord have come to an agreement, he will come and visit you all from time to time and both Discord and yourselves will report to me on how your relationship is progressing."

"So, is he staying with us?" Pinky asked. "I will stay with anyone that will have me, why are any of you offering?" Replied Discord, expecting to get rejected. "He can, st, stay, wi, with me, that's is if he doesn't mind," stuttered FlutterShy, her legs quaking.

Chapter Text

FlutterShy soon found that the draconequus that she had let into her home wasn't a monster and more like one of her animals with their instincts let off their leash. The Chimera didn't know boundaries like nopony had taught him, just expecting everypony around him to get his jokes or understand his chaos like it was art.

The best way the pegasus found to deal with Discord was to be calm and politely explain to him why her animals didn't like his antics.

"Discord I know you don't like Angel, but there is no need to treat him that way," softly scolded FlutterShy as the rabbit tried to hop straight after the draconequus mixed his body up like a pricasso peace.

"Well the little bugger was being rude," the chimera replied glaring at the rabbit.

Somepony started knocking on FlutterShy's door startling the pegasus. "Now who could that be, you didn't say you were expecting any guests, now did you dear FlutterShy?" Gleefully clapped Discord.

"Umm, no, I didn't," the mare answered walking over to the door hesadent to open it. The draconequus teleported around the rim of the door and opened it with his tail to reveal a very stern guard on the other side. 

The armoured stallion step inside before clearing his throat. "Announcing her majesty princess Mi Amore Cadenza," he bellowed. 

The guard stepped aside and a pink alicorn step inside the cottage only to find a yellow pegasus who had fainted on the floor from shock. 

... 

Inside the village of Ponyville another guard was about to knock on the door to the local library only to be pushed aside by his captain. "It's alright DawnBright I've got this," the armoured unicorn said. 

"But sir, there is a monster inside and a future prince of Equestria shouldn't risk his own safety," the guard argued.

"Hay, mind your tung sargent, that so called monster in there just happens to be my little sister!" Remanded the senior stallion. 

The armoured pegasus blinked. "Just following protocol sir,"  DawnBright replied bashfuly, rubbing the back of his helmet after being scolded. 

"Theres no need to worry anyway, after all I survived growing up with her," stated the captain of the guard. 

Another draconequus herd a knocking at her own door and teleported over to it to see who it was. 

Opening the door Twilight gasped squealed with glee and picked up the armoured unicorn in front of her door in a hug and pulled him inside. "Shining Armor! Oh its so good to see you BBBFF," shouted the chimera as they spun around. 

"Good to see you too, LSBFF," replied the stallion as he was put down, the other guards entered the library as the two siblings started talking to each other. 

"Oh, haven't seen you for a month, so what have you been doing in your spare time, you know, other than being captain of the guard," Asked the draconequus snaping a table and chairs into existence with a tea set layed out on top. 

"I see your magic has improved once again," Shining stated impressed with the power of his sisters summoning ability. 

"Well, me and my friends recently had an incident with a patch of poisen joke and I learned a thing or two," the chimera answered. 

"What's poisen joke?" Questioned the unicorn.

"It's a blue flower we walked through in the Everfree after meeting a new friend of ours, if you see it whatever you do don't touch it, if you or your guards get covered in it's pollen then come to me or Zecora. Anyway, you didn't answer my question," Twilight said after explaining about a certain pranksteris flower. 

"Well umm, you see, I've meet a special somepony, and I've proposed to her," said the stallion bashfuly, rubbing the back of his head with a hoof. "What!" The draconequus shouted the library jumping into the sky before coming back down. 

"Who is she, what did she say?" The chimera feverishly questioned wrapping around her brother like a snake.

"Twilight, too tight!" Weezed Shining. 

"Oh, sorry," 

"She said yes," gasped the unicorn after his sister let him go and apologised. 

"No way, how did you meet, whens the wedding, I still don't know her name!" The draconequus cried in frustration pulling on her horns. 

"I think you know her," chuckled the stallion. 

... 

"So your the princess of love that Tia told me about," Discord stated drinking a spoon. 

The alicorn had found herself transformed into a tea cup sitting on a table that was the mare that had passed out earlier. They were in some kind of relm that warped and shifted the princess unable to tell up from down.

Celestia had warned Cadenza that around the spirit of chaos that things could get topsy-turvy but after babysitting another little draconequus the princess didn't think it could get this bizarre.

"Umm, yes?" Answered the cup as chocolate milk was poured into her.

"Ah, good, so oh princess of love how does one, such as I woo the heart that, I desire?" Asked the chimera. 

Cadenza ended up blowing bubbles in the the flavoured milk when she tried to reply.

"Oopsy, sorry about that," Discord apologised piking up the transformed cup and tossing her over his shoulder and Cadenza smashed on a black floor in a dark blank space,  a jarring transition from the crazy colourful space. 

The chocolate milk that was spilled became a chair and the broken ceramic was put back together in the shape of a mare sitting on the chair, the alicorn now padding herself down after being broken into pieces. 

"You were saying," announced the draconequus restarting the convention.

The princess shook her head from the vertigo her mind was going through. To Cadenza's eye’s as she looked at the chimera she found that he was indeed had fallen in love with someone, the alicorn knowing who. 

"You want to know more about Twilight, don't you," the mare started. 

"Oh, that's no fair, old Celey told you didn't she," replied Discord crossing his arms. "Yes, I do, she's the only other one of my tribe I've meet in my long life, and for some reason she's the only one out of my reach," the draconequus pouted. 

The Alicorn giggled seeing the child inside the chimera that not many ponies could probably see. "Love takes time Discord, from what I can see is that Twilight doesn't know your affections yet, just hang around don't cause too much trouble and treat her nicely and she will catch on eventually," explained the mare playing Cupid. 

"Easy for you to say when your not the spirit of chaos," the draconequus said as he melt into a puddle in depression. 

The princess sighed in frustration knowing this relationship was going to be a tough one to tackle. 

Then the chimera sprung up and became a light bulb! "I know, I can ask her how she uses her magic and teach her how to use it properly!" Shouted Discord before exploding. 

Cadenza suddenly found himself sitting on a carpet in the middle  of the cottage she originally arrived at. 

"Umm, y your highness, umm, I I think Discord transformed y your guards into animals," a shy awkward voice said. 

The alicorn turned and the yellow pegasus from before "eeped" when her gaze washed over the other mare. "You're names FlutterShy, right?" Questioned the princess as she titled her head in curiosity. 

"Umm eer, yes, your your magisty," the pegasus answered bowing as politely as possible as she trembled.

"You're one of Twilights friends aren't you, can you show me where she lives if it isn't too much trouble, I'm afraid I have a feeling my fiancé and his sister are about to be rudely interrupted." Asked Cadenza with a gentle smile trying to imitate Celestia to calm the frightened mare. 

... 

"Discord!" Twilight screamed in anger as she lit on fire.

"Yes dear," replied the spirit of chaos blinking with his version of cute eyes at the other draconequus. 

"Out, NOW!" The chimera bellowed with a blast of fire from her maw torching Discord.

"Got it dear," answered the spirit of chaos, clearly getting the message after being singed. The draconequus ash blew out the open door before it was slammed behind him. 

"So that was Discord, the history books paint him much scarier then that," Shining Armor stated, his words calmed his sister down and the vortex of fire winked out. 

"Sorry you had to see me like that BBBFF, but he interrupted our time together, anyway you still haven't told me who this pony is your marrying," said Twilight snaping away the damage done to her library. 

"I think I'll leave that to be a surprise until the wedding, but I'll leave you a hint, you don’t know her by this name but her full formal name is Mi Amore and I am sure you will be happy to see her again, anyway we were here because of Discord and if he just popped in then I better check on her," the stallion said as he put his helmet back on. 

"Wait, shes here and she was talking to Discord of all creatures, why?!" Shouted the chimera.

"The princess sent us, apparently the draconequus wanted some advice and my fiancée was the best mare for the job, I don’t agree with her take on it but love isn't my talent, anyway before I leave can you organise our wedding and be my best draconequus, I don’t think the other one would set a good impression," the unicorn joked. 

Twilight laughed. "Oh Shining, I would be honoured to but when are you holding it?" Asked the chimera.

"In a couple of months, the princess will send you the details when we're getting started, now I better get going,  see you at the wedding LSBFF, " the stallion said one hoof out the door. 

"I wouldn't miss it for the world, BBBFF," replied the draconequus before her brother left. 

... 

FlutterShy was leading the alicorn to her friends home when the spotted Discord levitating backwards with his butt in the air and dragging his head looking vary defeated. 

"There he is, dame it, I knew he butted into Twilight and Shining's time," Cadenza said as she approached the chimera the yellow pegasus following her. 

"Oh my, he is looking rather down," said the other mare as she trotted after the draconequus. "Umm, Discord, are you feeling well?" FlutterShy asked. 

"She kicked me out with out even hearing what I had to say," explained the chimera depressly as he parked his butt on a park bench. 

"Well Twilight was talking to her brother at the time, thay haven't seen each other in a while, so having you interrupt that wouldn't make her very happy," the princess pointed out. 

Then a unicorn guard with more ornate armor was countering towards them before coming to a sliding hult.
