Chapter Text

It was a nice early summer day in Diamond City, and Wario was planning a end of June celebration to celebrate a successful quarter.

"Hmm....I think I should go outside," Wario muttered. "It's nice and sunny outside."

So, Wario called Mona on his iPhone 12(Mona owned the latest model). "Hey Mona," Wario greeted. "I need to come up with something fun. We had a successful quarter 2 and now the weather is looking beautiful outside. What should I do?"

"Hey,Wario,"Mona greeted on her iPhone. "I think we should have a day at the beach,it would be a lot of fun."

"Day at the beach?" Wario said. "That sounds like fun!"

The next day, Wario gathered everyone(except Mike) into the conference room "Since we've had a successful quarter 2, I decided that we should have a day at the beach!"

The whole workforce cheered in excitement. "A beach day sounds like a lot of fun," Penny said.

"Now remember, there's a buddy system, so stay with your buddy," Wario answered.

The list was as follows:

Wario and Mona
Penny and Ashley
Jimmy T and Dr.Crygor
18-Volt and 9-Volt
Dribble and Spitz
Kat and Ana
Orbulon and 5-Volt

Young cricket couldn't get a buddy since there were an odd number of people.

Everyone got their swimsuits, and rode to Diamond Beach to get to the beach. Then the fun starts.

Wario, in yellow swim trunks, put down a chair for him and Mona to share. Mona,in a red bikini,decided to grab a drink of water(she wasn't old enough to drink alcohol,19 or older only!).

"Hey,Wario," Mona said. "I think we should collect some seashells. Those are always super cool."

"What?" Wario responded. "That's so lame."

"That's not nice!" Mona shouted. "Besides, you might like it."

"Alright, fine," Wario groaned. "I'll join you."

Wario and Mona were collecting seashells on the beach, but it wasn't super fun for Wario.

"Can we just eat some food?" Wario had asked.

"No,you have to stay with me," Mona complained. "It's YOUR own rule!"

Mona had found 10 seashells, Wario, 1.

"Now can we please just hurry up?" Wario moaned. "I wish I had something to eat."

"Wario,lunch isn't until noon,and it's 9:15 in the morning," Mona groaned.

After Mona(and Wario, who wasn't on board) collected as many seashells as they could find,they showed everyone their collection.

And then it was time for lunch.

Penny and Ashley were an unlikely buddy pairing, but it was what it was. Penny was clad in a pink bikini and Ashley in a black one piece(her parents won't allow her to wear a bikini).

"Hey,uh,Ashley," Penny asked. "What do you want to do?"

"Make a sandcastle,"Ashley droned. "It's what I do best."

And so, Penny made a simple sandcastle. It was destroyed by Ashley's magic.

"Hey, you can't do that!" Penny shouted.

"Uh,I can," Ashley warned. "Do it again."

Penny made another simple sandcastle, and Ashley's magic destroyed it,again.

"Stop!" Penny cried.

"I was only doing that to show you what a real sandcastle looks like," Ashley droned.

"What does this 'real sandcastle' look like?" Penny asked.

"I'll show you," Ashley grinned. She used her magic to build an extremely large sandcastle, one that could rival any professional sandcastle.

"Wow!" Penny exclaimed. "This is amazing!"

"Told you so," Ashley droned.

After spending 2.25 hours in the sandcastle, it was time for lunch.
