Gunmax looked up from his phone to see a squealing Drill Boy jumping on his couch, and a completely zonked out Bishop on the armchair. The green-haired 21 year old slammed his forehead onto the kitchen counter, wondering what he’s gotten himself into.
At least he hadn’t made any pot brownies recently, McCrane would kill him if he got his little brother hooked on the stuff. Not to mention Duke…. Gunmax suddenly lamented the lack of alcohol in his apartment, and very briefly considered calling Deckard for help. He liked kids, right? Yeah, no, he wanted to see 2025, thank you very much.
“Gunmax, it’s gonna drop soon!” Dillan began to run around, waking John in the process, the blue-eyed, platinum-haired 15 year old jerking awake at his friend’s shout. The Southern boy sighed heavily before snatching a can of Cola from the pile on the countertop for courage and walked over to join the two younger boys on the couch.
Notes:
From the one of the last chapters, I realized that Japanese people do not generally have middle names, so Deckard is half Japanese, half American, but raised in Japan.
On the matter of this chapter, kids are just drawn to Deckard, and teens are drawn to Gunmax, whether he likes it or not. Also, introducing John Bishop! The rest of the Scotland Yard Braves will make an appearance soon.

But yes, the Harry Potter books are sold in Japan, and the covers are really cool.
I see Deckard as a mix between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, since he's brave (obviously, he is the Brave Detective), but also the sweetest best boi of the entire show. Take of that what you will.
