SCP-428 is encountered by a sinner.

Chapter Text

Down in the back alleys of the entertainment district within Pentagram city was a lone wolf-like sinner making his way through the bends.

This wasn’t an uncommon site down in Hell as everybody had their own problems to get to and that meant people had to move fast in order to make it to their destinations on time. Unfortunately, this specific sinner had a deadline he was trying to beat.

‘Shit. Velvette is going to ring me out now.’ He thought as he travelled up and down the the streets.

Normally he would be at the V Tower in less than ten minutes. Unfortunately, a battle with a space man and the three V’s had left the majority of the entertainment district now nothing more than a warzone that would make Palestine look like Salt Lake City, Utah.

‘I’m not gonna make it in this destruction. Why couldn’t they have their fight in the doomsday district.’ He thought out loud as he caught his breath at an intersection between the buildings. ‘The fighting could’ve fixed that shithole.’

The sinner decided to take a short break by leaning on one of the alley’s walls in order to catch their breath. He could still make out the smell of dead bodies that were the result of the major fight.

Being a wolf sinner aloud him a more heightened sense of smell that could get a whiff of the amount of bodies that now littered the streets. Luckily the majority were just sinners who would come back in a couple of days.

As the sinner started to get back to running for his job the sound of a whistle drew his ears to stand at attention. Looking from his spot he quickly scanned across his surroundings until he found something that was peculiar.

It was a succubus at the end of one of the alleys. She seemed to be leaning against the corner that led off into another alley. ‘That’s strange.’ He mulled over in his head. ‘I thought they evacuated this area for reconstruction.’

Once the alluring succubus got his attention she motioned for him to come over. Making sure to use hand signals to indicate sexual pleasure.

“Hey, this area isn’t safe.” The sinner responded to the succubus’ continued flirtations. “You should get out of here.”

The succubus ignored his request and slowly slinked away back into the corner. Her leg hugging the wall in order to give off a sexual image.

‘She must be in shell shock.’ The sinner ultimately chalked up at the succubus’ unusual behavior. ‘Fortunately for me that just means she’ll be willing to do anything.’

The wolf made his way towards where the hell born slinked off in order to get some freaky sex done before going in for work. Sure he might be written up for being late but having sex with a succubus was well worth it.

As he rounded the corner his hopes quickly died with what he bared witness to in the dead-end alley.

Instead of just the succubus being all alone there were apparently a few other people as well. Comprised of sinners, imps, hellhounds, and cubi. There was about twenty in total.

But that wasn’t the only thing that caught him feeling like his bowels were about to void themselves. It was the fact that they were all standing up, staring right at him, with uncomfortable smiles on their faces.

The sinner had seen enough and was just about to turn heel at the weird site. It was at this moment that the succubi that led him into the alley decided to grab onto his arm and drag him towards the others.

“Help! Someone help me!” The wolf screamed at the top of his lungs as he was being dragged towards the center of the horrifying flash mob.

It was at this moment that the wolf sinner saw the most grotesque site he ever saw. In the center of the people was a huge ball of flesh that writhed and undulated with tentacles shooting out of it connecting to the back of the peoples necks.

The group of demons spun him around with his back to the creature as he continued to call out in vein.

“Oh Satan! Please he-”

A sudden stinging sensation enveloped his entire body starting at his neck and quickly spreading across his entire body. He then lost consciousness and immediately flatlined.

Being a sinner he manifested a few days later as is with everybody else in Hell. He never learned that he just had an unlucky encounter with SCP-428.

Chapter Text

Pentagram city, industrial district.

SCP-035 POV

Vroom… BANG!

The old car I was driving came to a sudden stop as it knocked over a few trash cans that were left on the side of the curb.

I silently chastised myself for my wreck less driving but I couldn’t be entirely at fault. I looked at my body as it now showed the first signs of decomposition.

‘I need to get another body soon.’ I pondered to myself. ‘When I first found him he was a prime specimen of his species, but now he’s starting to become rigid. Maybe one of those sinners?’

The sinners were once human when they were alive but in death they gained certain attributes such as increased strength and magical abilities. Perhaps the best of all, the regeneration of damage flesh.

‘Maybe… something to think about later. I got another comrade to recruit.’ I thought as I made my way to the large warehouse in front of me.

The warehouse was quite old, according to the shattered glass windows and moldy brick walls that seemed to dot around the exterior of the building. It was clear that nobody used the warehouse for quite some time and in due time was bound to be demolished.

I moved quickly from my car and headed straight into the building. This body had a scuffle recently with one of the overlords in this district and it was bound to be spies around keeping a watchout for me.

My boots kept stepping on broken glass with the complete bareness of the warehouse giving off an uncomfortable setting. Even to me.

The room was clearly a receptionist area given the small space. To the right was a hallway to presumably a bunch of offices and in front were the steel doors to the central warehouse itself.

I looked over to my left and saw a large black splotch of inky darkness spread across the wall.

“Alright, come out big guy.” I spoke to the dark patch as the creature made its way outside of its pocket dimension and into the dim lighting the smudged windows provided.

“So this place has another recruit for us doesn’t it?” The creature only gave a small nod at my question. “Excellent! Now where is this someone or something?”

The creature only offered a pointed finger with its only remaining arm towards the steel doors to the main warehouse chamber.

“Great. Let’s introduce ourselves to our new teammate.” I stepped away from the creature and made my way to the two doors at the back of the room.

The doors gave way with only slight resistance and once I took in the room itself I noticed two things.

One, the entire building looked like a cats scratching post. With deep cuts running along the wood, metal, and concrete.

Two, the large mass of billowy, white feathers that sat right in the middle of the room itself. The huge pile would twitch and shake at random intervals.

“Well, well, well, look at what we have here.” I announced as I made my way to the new SCP. “Seems to me that an angel ended up where it didn’t belong.”

I grabbed a folding chair that seems to have survived the initial destruction and took my seat across from the pile of wings.

“I’ve heard from the grapevine that you’re the Foundation’s personal fallen angel.” I started speaking as the pile refused to respond to my presence. “Quite the nasty fall from heaven’s graces and only to end up in Hell of all place. Tch, this is no place for someone such as yourself.” I placed my hands together and rested my mask on them as I continued.

“I know all about how the Foundation tried to use horrible methods in order to control your unique abilities. Fire is often a cruel punishment is it not.” The pile of feathers refused to reply. “The doctors don’t think there is anyone conscious underneath those wings but I think differently.” I got up and made my way over to the pile.

“You might not be in a cage anymore, but the cage in your mind is still there isn’t?” I didn’t expect a reply as I continued to talk, walking around the potential recruit.

“Perhaps you need a special word that will ignite something deep down in the corners of your mind in order to find your way out.” I stopped pacing as I stood in front of the feathers. My mind coming up with certain words to stir the great many-winged angel.

“Hmm, heaven?”

No response other than the slight twitching of the wings.

“Hell?”

No response.

“Lucifer?”

No response.

“Sinner?”

No… response.

I was starting to get annoyed and looked back at the creature still standing at the foot of the doorway. Still clutching his stump of an arm.

‘Perhaps I’m going about this the wrong way. Maybe something… more… personal.’

“Heh, you wouldn’t happen to know what an Exorcist is, would you?”

This time I got a clear response as the wings suddenly stopped twitching and remained dead still.

After about a minute the wings started moving again but this time seemed to be retreating inside the mass. The wings slid over one another as the main shape of the angel was revealed to the world in perhaps a very long time.

The angel appeared to be female. She was tall with what appeared to be a badly damaged black and white uniform that showed parts of her gray skin underneath it. Her face showed the same gray texture as her body with green eyes and long flowing black hair. The eyes however showed a vacant, blank expression on them.

Once the wings retreated fully within her body I could see she was laying prone on the ground as if she was a human ragdoll. Her eyes suddenly filled back with life as her eyes frantically darted across her field of vision until coming to rest on me.

I made my way closer to her and crouched down in order for the angel to not strain her neck looking up. I took the initiative to greet myself.

“Why hello angel, it’s very nice to finally meet you. I see that you have consciousness back so let’s begin with our names. Mine is 035, but you can refer to me as mask if you prefer.” I reached out my hand towards her. “And yours?”

She seemed to be struggling with her mouth. She opened and closed her mouth several times before being able to start expelling air out of her throat to create sound.

“A… As… As… aph. My… n-name i-is Asaph.”

“Well Asaph, it is very nice to meet you. Do you happen to know where we are?” She looked around her environment before looking straight up from her prone position and looking back at me with those striking green eyes.

“H-hell?” I gave a slight chuckle.

“Heh, that’s right. Now that introductions are out of the way perhaps you’d like to listen to a little pitch I ‘d like to make to you.” Asaph gave no response but a slow blink and a slight frown.

“I’ll take that as a yes. Now since we’re in Hell I would like to make an arrangement. I would like to see my grandest dreams come true down in this cesspool of human waste. In order to do that I will need help from others who now of my pain.” I leveled my gaze down on her again. “That’s where you come in. In exchange for helping out my plans I will help you with yours. What do you say.” I extended my hands outward to show some vulnerability. Asaph looked down at the ground for a moment before looking back at me.

“If I he-help you, wi-will you help me get me b-back to heaven.” I clasped my hands together and tilted my head to the side.

“Aww, the lost lamb wishes to return to the flock does she not.” Asaph’s eyes flickered with hatred and she brought her mouth into a viscous snarl.

“N-no.” She responded. “I w-want to… kill them. I want to slice at their throats. I want to make them scream for what they have done to me.” She brought her hand together in order to make a fist.

“Ahh, a revenge trip. I can certainly get behind that. Now are you ready to get up and take your vengeance upon the people who wronged you?”

Asaph made several spasms and twitches in order to get off the dirty concrete floor to no avail.

‘It seems her muscles have atrophied by being in that form for too long.’

“Well it seems that you can’t get up.” I stated towards her. “I would help you but with the state of this host it would probably be too long before it completely breaks down.” I waved my hand over to the creature that had walked over to us as we were talking.

“I would offer my compatriot here to carry you but he seems to be missing one of two essential pieces.” The creature looked down at me before rubbing its stub.

“Th-that’s alright. I think I can move myself.” Asaph said as four wings started to sprout from her back again. Me and the creature took a step back in order to see what she was planning.

The wings glided effortlessly through the air before-

Crunch!

The wings embedded into the concrete surrounding her body looking as if the ground itself was nothing more than warmed up butter.

Asaph’s body started to rise off the ground looking as if her body was dangling off of a meat hook. Her head lopped forward with her hair covering one of her eyes with the other one directly looking at us. She still maintained a neutral expression while looking at us.

She looked like the Ring girl combined with a certain Marvel character I once watched from a movie.

Well the memories of watching the movie from one of my hosts anyway.

“Looks like your full of surprises, aren’t you.” I turned around and made my way towards the central doors.

“Let’s go make some chaos.”

=======================================

SCP-469 POV

I made my way outside the building. Making sure to stay close to the weird imp wearing a mask as the ink man retreated back into the shadows.

I should be terrified. I should not make deals with demons.

However, the only thing on my mind was the people I was going to kill when I got back into heaven. People like Sera, and Adam, and Lute, and…

And…

Vaggie

Her name. Something that once brought a smile to my face only brought hatred and pain to the forefront of my mind.

As I stepped out of the warehouse and into the red skies of Hell, one thought kept me from retreating back into myself.

‘I’m going to make my girlfriend scream’

Notes:

Yes, I decided to add another chapter to this as a way to showcase what I think SCP-469 would be like in the story. I've messaged the creator before on this and they've said that they aren't currently planning on adding this anomaly. Which is fair there is already so many anomalies in this story with so many side stories that he has enough on his plate. I just thought this might be an interesting one-shot to look at.

I chose Asaph because well… vagina and ass. Duh.

Update 11/2: WebHead_11 chose to use this scene in his story. I am super happy over this and will create more individual scenes in the future based on their AU.

Anyway please leave a kudos and I will see you in the future.

Chapter 3: Murphy Law in... The Overlord Who Wasn't There

FADE IN:

INT. CARMINE INDUSTRIES - DAY

A gray-skinned woman looks out of an office of her high-rise office and out onto the streets of Pentagram City. She is clad in an elegant fur lined dress, with a cloche adorning the top of her head. She calmly looks out the window while drinking bourbon out of an expensive looking tumbler.

This is CARMILLA CARMINE, and she is one of the most powerful overlords this side of the city. She is often resolute and unwavering when someone tries to snuff her out. However, if one of yous try to take out one of her babies – then there will be a closed casket funeral.

The intercom on her desk suddenly whirls to life as the sweet cherry voice of her receptionist, SARAH, comes through.

NARRATOR

Sometimes the trouble comes to me.

SARAH

Mrs. Carmine. There’s someone here to see you. Says his name is Murphy Law.

CARMINE presses down on the call button, uttering her response.

CARMINE

Alright, send him in.

The doors of her office open to reveal a light-skinned man in a collared shirt, with his signature trilby hat resting on the top of his head. On his holster; a .44 magnum is proudly displayed. A bent cigarette rests between his fingers.

NARRATOR

Sometimes I go to where the trouble is.

This is MURPHY LAW, and there is no case he can’t crack. With all the whip and charm of his pistol that rests on his side.

He is also our NARRATOR. With a voice as though a hundred lawnmowers ran over his vocal cords and was bathed in vinegar for over a month.

CARMINE

(surprised)

Ah, hello… I don’t remember you booking an appointment with me.

MURPHY puts the cigarette between his lips and lights it with his engraved lighter.

MURPHY

No I didn’t, toots. I’m here on an… investigation.

CARMINE cracked her knuckles as she leveled a look at MURPHY.

CARMINE

(angry)

Call me ‘toots’ again and you will not leave this office alive. Now tell me who you are.

MURPHY

Fair ‘nough. The names MURPHY LAW and I’m here to investigate certain activities happening around your fair city.

MURPHY sits down at CARMINE’S desk as CARMINE does the same at the opposite end.

CARMINE

You are referring to the upcoming Extermination Day have you?

NARRATOR

Close, but not exactly in the same ballpark. Extermination Day is often the grotesque holiday that happens once a year in the city. The local gang known as the ‘Exorcists’ led by their leader by the name of Adam.

MURPHY inhales a large portion of his cigarette before blowing the fumes off to the side.

NARRATOR

Ya, one day a year where they are able to commit whatever crimes they please with no repercussions. It’s gotten so bad that not even Mayor Lucifer will get involved. Got to love politics.

MURPHY

Actually, no. I’m referring to the ‘peculiar’ occurrences happening around this damn city.

CARMINE lifts her tumbler before tilting the glass towards her lips before speaking.

CARMINE

Ah. You are referring to the fight that happened between the Vee overlords and a maniac ‘spaceman’, are you not?

NARRATOR

She appears to be just as sharp as a dagger in your back.

MURPHY

Yes. Although that was not the only occurrence that has happened down here.

CARMINE brings her glass down on the table.

CARMINE

(starring down)

I have no idea to what you are referring to.

MURPHY rose from his seat and made his way to the side of her desk.

MURPHY

There are rumors going around that a few, ‘tourists’, have made their way into the city along with a few of their ‘unsavory’ anomalies.

CARMINE looked away from MURPHY.

CARMINE

(scoffing)

Such baseless rumors often circulate around down here. If you are a detective, I would assume you could differentiate fact from fiction.

NARRATOR

I can, although in the Foundation that gets thrown around so many times you don’t know which way is up and which way is left.

MURPHY rifles around in his interior pockets. He grabs a couple of photographs from within.

MURPHY

(sets photographs down)

I often can. But, having insurance can often reveal the truth more quickly.

The photographs themselves feature CARMINE in an elegant cocktail dress. Although the main focus of concern was the .32 levelled on the back of an Exorcist held by the same woman. CARMINE looks shocked at the images.

NARRATOR

Gotcha.

CARMINE

(glaring)

What… do… you… want.

MURPHY makes his way back to his original seat and sits down.

MURPHY

I need the names of those visitors that you have in your employ. My ‘acquaintances’ just need their names, nothin’ else.

CARMINE continues to glare before giving out a sigh.

CARMINE

You promise these images won’t see the light of day, and you won’t ask anymore questions about those ‘visitors’.

MURPHY

(hand to chest)

I’m a man of my word.

NARRATOR

Most of the time.

CARMINE continues to stare down MURPHY before closing her eyes.

CARMINE

Their names are Halara Moore and Reed Newsong. Although I have no intention of telling you their current location.

MURPHY gets up and grabs the photographs on the desk. CARMINE quickly grabs his hand.

CARMINE

You think I will let you walk out of here with those photographs.

MURPHY

(indignant)

You think I didn’t make copies of these.

CARMINE lets go of MURPHY’S hand and lets him gather up his photographs before he walks over to the door.

CARMINE

(suspicious)

Who are you?

MURPHY looks back at CARMINE before lifting up his trilby.

MURPHY

I’m Murphy Law. I’m the man you call when all hell breaks loose.

NARRATOR

And it looks like it literally has.

MURPHY exits CARMINE’S office.

FADE OUT.

Carmilla Carmine POV.

I suddenly was jolted back into awareness. It was if I was going on autopilot for a few minutes and I can’t recall the last few minutes of time.

I looked over my office to find out if anything was out of place only to find nothing out of the ordinary. My eyes however focused on my desk ash tray as the still smoldering remains of a cigarette was left within it.

‘Strange, I don’t smoke’ I thought as I quickly went back to focusing on my personal reports.

Notes:

I had a triple shot expresso so I'm as energetic as a chipmunk on cocaine. I know I just uploaded a recent chapter but I just wanted to show a great scene with this one. I had to learn to use workskins to get the Courier font but I'm quite happy with it. Although I don't know how to make the speech in gray boxes. I'm not gonna pour alot of time in HTML to figure that out.

Please leave a kudos and I will see you in the future.

Chapter 4: Hellish Jokes

Summary:

Jokes I made for the story and a few I added as well.

Chapter 5: The Little Girl and the Sea

Summary:

Asmodeus finds an alarming discovery in his factory.

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Asmodeus POV

It was a busy day down in the ring of lust. Sexual energy wafted through the air and the sounds of horny love-making were as common as birds chirping. Except the birds were also getting in on it.

One would assume I would enjoy the ravenous fuckfest that happens across my realm. But, my cubi workers have need of me down in the many factories that dot my territory. It was infuriating how many times they asked for my assistance in new dildo productions and fleshlight R&D.

‘I swear, if I don’t get a day off soon I’ll be making sure everyone will be firing blanks.’ I opened the large, industrial strength doors that separated my home with one of the largest sex toy factories the universe has ever seen.

I made my over to the personal computer interface, making sure to grab the lab jacket and goggles resting next to the door on the hook. My personal succubus assistant floated down from a higher level to give me important updates.

“We gotta new dildo model that still needs to be put into R&D testing, the amount of cherry-flavored lube is running dangerously below production, a few workers noticed what appears to be an unauthorized sex-robot in storage, the night crew continue to not clean up their…” I zoned out of her boring monologue of all the assignments I had to deal with today until I heard a rather unusual complaint.

“A sex bot in storage you say?” I interrupted her which brought her out of her daydreaming state and back into reality.

“Wha- Oh right! Some factory workers say a small robot has been sited running in between the storage aisles. A few workers try to follow in pursuit but it was so small it could slip into the gaps of boxes and be out of sight.”

“Probably one of the many Robo-Fizz’s that we recalled. Just initiate the shutdown codes down there and call it a day.”

“That’s the thing your majesty.” The assistant said with slight hesitance. “All Robo-Fizz’s have been accounted for. This one doesn’t appear to be of our design.”

‘Hmm, this is intriguing. Perhaps a scientist of mine was doing off the clock construction of a new sex-bot when it broke out. Or maybe a rival competitor created it for infiltration and find some of my top-secret plans.

I extricated myself from my console at made my way to the personal elevator I had installed for my large frame. Upon entering I turned to my assistant.

“Make sure the night crew is cut-off from over time for a week. They had two verbal warnings already. When I get back, I’ll see to the other matters personally.”

She gave a quick nod before walking away. The elevator doors closed and I descended into the depths of my factory.

Once the doors opened I was met with the dingy storage space of my complex. Towering shelves of boxes holding all things from horny-scented candles to edible survival-grade lube bottles. The entire place was lit by overhead fluorescent lights spaced too far away from each other to create many dark spots.

As I stepped from my elevator a rat scurried across the floor and nestled inside a convenient hole in the wall that used to be a forgotten gloryhole the employees once used.

‘It’s absolutely filthy down here and not in a pleasurable way. I’m going to have to hire a cleaning crew in the coming weeks to make it clean enough to at least do butt stuff.’ I made my way quietly across the aisles in order to find this rogue simulant.

It was hard to spot anything down here in the poor lighting that ended up with me making a few circles before ending back at the recalled flesh lights from last summer.

‘This is pointless. I could be dealing with the lube production or at least cuddling with Froggy in bed today. Why even-’ I paused my inner monologue when I spotted what appeared to be a pile of products haphazardly strewn across an aisle I haven’t been down.

I made my way over and noticed they were open bottles of edible lube piled on the floor with an equal amount of lube around it.

‘What could have caused this? Unless the rats developed opposable thumbs, they couldn’t have opened them. Maybe a vagrant made it down here to eat? But why does it appear to have regurgitated the same amount of product?’ I looked up from the lube and noticed a trail heading off to the side and decided to follow.

Carefully following the trail, I made it to a little nook set up in the middle of the building. I kept to the corner to hide from the trespasser so I could catch them more easily. I didn’t know what to do to them in all fairness. Perhaps if they were a hungry fellow I could get them a good meal and let them off with a harsh warning. It wouldn’t be good to have this become a recurring issue.

Before I could debate on whether or not I should bring mercy on this individual said person came from one of the gaps between the boxes.

They wore what appeared to be a green tarp that they retrofitted from one of the boxes lying around. They walked with a slight limp as every step was met with slight hesitation. The individual was extremely short, maybe imp sized, with a bottle of opened lube in their hands.

They entered their makeshift encampment before sitting down to fiddle with an old radio that was lying around here. I decided to make my presence known.

I stepped away from the corner, going from Peeping Tom to active participant. I let my flames grow in size to get the individuals attention. It certainly worked as they turned around from their sitting position and looked up towards me. Their hood still cloaking their face.

“Hello, little one.” I spoke with hints of lust and anger in order to keep this person on edge. “I see you are enjoying my many products, but I’m going to ask that you come with me so we can discuss your punishment for trespassing.”

The cloaked person continued appeared to be shaking in fear before trying to bolt off in an attempt to escape my clutches.

“Why do I bother asking?” I asked myself as I brought one of my hands forward and created a large fire wall to stop the individual in their tracks. They were so surprised that they fell over allowing their cloak to come down.

I stepped forward, intending on learning how this short cake made it down here when they looked up and I saw-

-Saw

-I don’t know how to describe it. No… her.

It was definitely a girl. A little girl. A little… human girl. Or what remained of one. The girl appeared to be no older than 10. She had pale skin with blonde hair and blue eyes. The left side of her face and bottom jaw seemed to have been completely removed and replaced with cybernetic replacements. With a bright red eye that seemed to be built without eyelids.

She was looking up at me with a horrified look in her one good eye before tears started to stream down her face and onto the floor. She immediately took up a fetus position as I heard distressing sounds emanating from her body.

‘Who was this child? Was this a human? How did she get down here and more importantly down in Hell. Who put those robotic replacements in?’ I halted my current thought process and brought my full attention back to the girl.

Girl. This was a girl. A girl that was scared and alone. A girl who needed his help.

I reached my hand out and retracted the wall of flames before walking over the little girl. I shifted my size a little in order to not appear as intimidating.

“Hello, little one.” I repeated in a much more gentle tone. “What brings someone such as yourself here.” She still remained on the floor with the distress sounds starting to lessen in volume.

“Would you like some help, little one. We can get you some food if you’re hungry.” She peaked her head of the floor and opened her blue eye to look at me. I had my body lowered and my flames brought down to a quiet gentle crackle. She looked to my inviting hand before hesitantly bringing her own hand over.

I noticed that the right hand was also replaced with a mechanical one. This one appeared to have long sharp claws as if her fingers were made of X-ACTO blades.

When suddenly, she stopped and started heaving. I brought myself closer to her out of instinct and saw a hole on the back of her neck start to gush out pink lube. She continued to expel lube from her neck for ten more seconds before stopping and remaining on her hands and knees.

‘She must be incapable of digesting this food. I need to find out what she can consume.’ I suddenly found myself confused over finding out the dietary needs of this girl. I shook my head before bringing my hands down to her tiny form and gently carried her off the floor and towards the elevator.

‘I’ll just bring her upstairs and find out what to do from there. I shouldn’t be concerned about this anyway.’ I told myself internally as we entered the elevator and made our way to my penthouse suite.

“Uh, Ozzy. What’s in your hands?” My lover, Fizzarolli, asked as I made my way out of the elevator and across the kitchen. He appeared to be in the middle of lunch and eating a greasy hamburger from some takeout place.

“Oh nothing. Just a boring, old… dildo I found in storage. Yeah, a dildo. I was just going to examine it in my workshop.

The cute imp gave me a ‘yeah, right’ expression before placing his burger down and continued his prodding.

“If it’s a dildo you wouldn’t mind me using it for a few rounds, right?”

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

I yelled in rage, startling both Fizzy and the little girl as my flames licked the ceiling.

“Fuck, Oz. I didn’t mean it alright.” I quickly brought my flames down as I took a deep breath before I responded.

“I’m sorry Froggy. It’s just… I found someone down in deep storage.” Fizzy gave me a smirk at hearing my explanation.

“Should I be concerned for my place?” He said clearly in a joking way.

“Just… be careful about how you approach her, okay.”

“Heh, I’m great at meeting people.”

I lowered my hand to his level, making sure to block the view of the girl with my fingers. Two different sets of hands gripped my fingers and hoisted themselves up as the little girl peaked over the edge and looked at my Froggy.

“Oh! Um… hey? Um… you uh… you seem… My name is Fizzarolli. What’s yours.” Fizz brought his hand out in order to talk to the little girl. She didn’t seem to respond as it seems she was more interested in his bare robotic arm.

She brought her clawed hand down and started rubbing the robotic arm that Fizzy brought out in order to make pleasantries. Fizzy, for his part, seemed a little nervous.

“Heh, yeah. It seems we have some things in common do we. Heh. Um Oz? Could I speak to you in the other room.” Fizzy pointed away and to the adjoining room.

“Certainly.” I brought me hands down and placed the child in a chair next to the dining table. I brought my face down so I could be at her eye level. “I’m going to be in the next room, okay. Could you just sit here and wait for me?”

She nodded almost immediately and brought her hands to her legs in compliance. I gave her a quick smirk and led Fizzy out of the room and out of ear shot.

“What the hell is this!” Fizzy whisper-yelled in order to not garner the child’s attention. “If this is some new cyborg sex doll then me and you are gonna have some problems with our relationship.”

“No, no, no. Of course not. I would never.” I stated as I could never conceive making something this defiled. “I found her down in storage and brought her up here to… to…” I paused in my explanation as I realized I never really thought what I was gonna do to her. She obviously needed my help but other than that I haven’t thought too far ahead.

I looked down at Fizzy as he gave me a suspicious glare over my hesitation.

“Look, she was scared and alone. I was gonna check her over in the lab and make sure she's healthy, okay. That’s all.” He kept eyeing me up as he accepted my explanation.

“Alright, alright. Just make sure to smile when you’re around her. Children feel calmer when you smile.” I gave him a peck on the forehead and we both walked back into the breakfast nook.

I noticed that the little girl hadn’t moved an inch the entire time we had been gone and was tracking our movements with her head when we walked back in the room.

This brought a small shiver to my body as I offered her my head to sit back in. She looked back up to me before looking back down and climbing back into my palm.

I rose up and made my way to the lab as I heard Fizzy yell back at me to ‘smile more’. Said smile brought itself to my face at his constant care.

We made our way to my lab as I placed the little girl down on the ground. She took the time to look around at all the tools and machinery strewn about the place as I made my way over to a small tablet I had in order to take readings.

“Alright. I should start with some preliminary readings to make sure you wont infect any of my systems with some sort of virus or the devices I use will end up damaging your machinery.”

I turned around and noticed the girl had taken off her green tarp. She appeared to be wearing some pink dress that didn’t have any real personality. She was eerily lying flat on the central desk as if she assumed that was the position I wished her to be in.

It unnerved me seeing how complacent and accepting this girl had agreed to all of my commands. As if she was a complete machine.

I made my way over and place the tablet next to her. I started looking over her body, the parts not covered by her dress, in order to spot any damage or bleeding. She looked over to the tablet and picked it up.

“Yes, it’s a tablet little one. I use it to do work.” I smiled at her as she looked over the tablet before directing the screen to me.

On the screen appeared to be text.

“Hello. My name is SCP – 191. What is your name?”

I was immediately surprised at what I was seeing. Not only did she hack into my PDA, but she did so without so much as directly connecting to a USB port.

“Uh… Hello SCP – 191. My name is Asmodeus. You can call me Ozzy. Can I call you 191?”

The screen flickered and new text appeared.

“You can call me whatever you want.”

I was again unnerved at how accepting she was of all the things I suggested. It gave a very ugly image that I tried to block from my head.

“Okay 191, I’m going to run some internal scans of your hardware so just lay right there and it’ll all be okay.”

“Okay Mr. Ozzy.”

I brought over a large device connected to one of the large monitors in the room and switched it on. While the machine was running I thought about asking 191 some more questions.

“So 191, what do you like to do?”

“I like to paint and play video games.”

“Alright, I’ll be sure to get you some paint supplies and videogames when I have the time.”

“Thank you.”

‘Why was I trying to buy things for her? I barely know her.’ I chastised myself before going back to talking with 191.

“So, how did you get here?”

“I don’t know. I last remembered a strange man enter my room and crushing some weird yellow thing in his hands and I woke up in that place. Please don’t be mad.”

“I am not little one.” I stated with a soothing voice. I start to think about what she just said about ‘weird yellow thing’.

“Did this yellow thing happen to look like this?” I brought my hand into my desk and pulled out one of my Asmodean crystals to show her.

“Yes, they looked a lot like that.” She said as I placed the crystal back into the drawer as I thought about why a bunch of humans would have my crystals.

‘It should be impossible to have one. I keep a tight leash on crystal owners and I haven’t found any sign of them being stolen or lost. Maybe I should-’

My thought process was interrupted as I noticed new text appear on 191’s tablet.

“Did the doctor get to Mr. Fizzarolli, too.”

This threw me for a loop as I contemplated the meaning behind her words.

“No, I made those changes because he didn’t have any arms or legs. Did this ‘doctor’ do this to you?” I indicated to her robotic augmentations.

She responded by lowering her head and refusing to make I contact with me. Text appeared on her tablet.

“I’m fine.”

I wanted to prod further, but the device beeped indicating that its diagnostic is complete. I left the girl where she was and looked over to the screen in order to gage how invasive her robotics were.

In short, they were horrifying.

Around 80% of her face was replaced with cybernetics with her throat and trachea completely removed. Her right arm and leg severed from her body and replaced with robotic replacements. A tube at the back of her neck seemed to be where she was allowed nourishment.

The insides were a worse story. With 24 – core processor lodge in her brain indicating slight lobotomization. Her circulatory completely has been completely replaced with components that seem to keep the girl at a lower heart rate. The digestive track looks to be as if a child went at it with a sledgehammer and her reproductive organs have been completely removed.

There were more cybernetic augmentations that even he, the most well versed expert on robotics in all of Hell, didn’t know what purpose they served.

I turned around and observed the small girl that had gone through a worse Hell then the one she currently finds herself in.

‘What can I do for her?’ I immediately realized that she must be starving so I thought about asking her an important question.

“This might be a tad too personal but… would you happen to know what you can eat?” She stared at me for an uncomfortable amount of time before the she extended a cable from my tablet and inserted it into her forearm. I was about to ask what she was doing but an alert from the screen behind me gave me reason to look over.

It seems as though a file was uploaded to it that showed the chemical structure and formula process of creating a sterile saline solution that provided important nutrients to the body.

I looked back as she was turning the screen towards me to say something else.

“I also need energy. There is an outlet located on my back.” I nervously smiled at her as this little girl was giving me so many questions to what she was and what happened to her.

In the end, I decided I needed to make sure she was healthy, safe, and happy. That was most important.

“Alright 191. From the blueprints it may take a few hours to create the compound so I’ll go and fetch someone to fetch us some paint supplies so we can wait. Is that okay with you?”

She looked back into my eyes as I started to feel a strange feeling as she did so. I just couldn’t understand what. It was as if this child’s safety was my first and foremost objective. She gave her response before I could think more on it.

“That’s okay. Thank you.”

It ended up being a pretty nice afternoon. Me and 191 began painting different images of our favorite things. I painted an image of me and Fizzy going at it, I made sure to not show 191 that, and 191 painted an image of children trick-or-treating during Halloween. It was honestly a nice time.

Eventually, the formula was finally developed and I helped in feeding 191 through her feeding tube. I swear if I ever find who did this to 191 I will make sure their final moments will far worse than Luci could even image.

But, enough of that, it was starting to become night. With that in mind I had scooped up 191 and brought her over to one of the spare rooms, making sure to flip the erotic paintings around in order to spare her the uncouth images.

Once I placed her down in bed and tucked her in she brought the tablet up to my face to say something.

“Could you read me a bed-time story, please?”

I couldn’t bring myself to say no, so I used my powers to summon some children’s books from my personal library and went through them.

“No… no… no… too pornographic… no… ‘The Very Hungry Butt Hungry Caterpillar’… ‘Everybody Poops on Chests’… I’m going to have a long talk with what their teaching at those schools.” I turned to give a small, nervous smile to 191 before going back in to search. “Ah, here’s one, ‘The Little Girl and the Sea’.”

I pulled up a large chair next to 191, placed my reading glasses on, and began reading the book:

There once was a little girl who lived by the sea.

All day she played and ran and collected sea dollars.

One day she became hungry and said, “I wish there was something to eat.”

She then heard the sea call out, “I will give you what you want but you will need to give me a sea dollar.”

The little girl loved her sea dollars, but she was hungry so she threw one sea dollar into the sea.

The sea said, “I am sorry, I meant to say three sea dollars.”

So the little girl threw in two more sea dollars.

The sea said, “I am sorry again, I meant to say six sea dollars.”

So the little girl threw in more and more sea dollars until she was all out.

The little girl called out, “I’m sorry sea, but I do not have any more sea dollars to give you.”

The sea did not say anything, so the little girl sat down to cry.

An old man walked by and decided to ask the little girl, “Little girl, why do you cry.”

The little girl looked up, “I gave my sea dollars to the sea and it did not give food.”

The old man said, “The sea cannot be trusted, I will get you some food.”

The little girl said, “How can I trust you?”

“Because,” said the old man, “I will not ask for anything in return.”

So the old man left and returned with some food for the little girl.

And the little girl was happy.

The End.

“The end.” I looked up from my book to see 191 with her one blue eye starting to close up and her red eye becoming dimmer. I put the book down and kissed her on the forehead.

“Can I trust you, Mr. Ozzy.” The tablet said in between 191’s fingers. I hesitated for a moment before giving my response.

“I would like that very much, but that is your decision.” Her tablet took a few seconds to respond to my statement.

“Okay, goodnight Mr. Ozzy.”

“Goodnight… is there something else you want me to call you?” The screen took a few more seconds to respond.

“I like Maddy.” I smiled down at her before gently brushing her hair with my hand. I took the tablet from her hands and placed it on the nightstand.

I inched over to the door and turned off the lights before going out into the hallway. I looked into the room before giving my goodnight.

“Goodnight Maddy.”

Notes:

I made this as a sort of sweet father-daughter scene between Asmodeus and SCP-191. I hope it came off okay.

Chapter 6: Original Bio of Asaph

Summary:

The original concept idea of SCP-469, a.k.a. Asaph.

Notes:

I am not involved with Asaph's development in SCP-666 "Hazbin". This is simply the original concept I had for her when making the original chapter.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Asaph was born in the Heavenly domain, being one of the personal guards/lovers of the First Man, Adam. She is around 5’ 8” with similar gray skin and angelic wings that most exorcists have. She has long, black hair that shines a dark black with deep piercing green eyes that can be shone in the darkest environments.

She often was found beside Adam and before long was made his second-in-command under him. This all changed when she met Vaggie, one of her other sisters-in-arms, and the two became a couple. The love affair was kept secret as Adam had a rule against dating between other soldiers. He was the exception.

They would often have romantic moments in each other’s personal dorms or out in the promenade or other locals of heaven under the guise of simple friendly outings. This would go on until Heaven made a secret decree.

Extermination Day.

While most of Adam’s army was excited about attacking the people of Hell, including Vaggie, Asaph did not. Unlike her other counterparts, Asaph believed that exposing the army of Heaven to the depravity of killing others would only incur wrath and bloodlust into her fellow sisters. If this would happen then they would no doubt wish to attack more frequently and hastily like a junkie trying to get a better high. She believed that this would cause the army to turn on Heaven and begin slaughtering their own people to satiate their desires. While she had no love or compassion for the Hellborn or Sinners, she ultimately believed that leaving them in the ‘cesspool’ was more than enough punishment for them.

When the decree was shared among the armies ranks, Asaph brought Vaggie aside to convince her of the terribleness of the plan. She had planned to reveal the secret to all of Heaven as a way to rally support to stop Extermination Day from happening. While unsure, Vaggie did tell Asaph that she supported her. They made plans to meet up in a secluded part of Heaven to discuss further action.

The day came and Asaph arrived at the meeting spot wearing her uniform for discretion. Vaggie was nowhere in sight. Before she could begin to panic, she was suddenly restrained with angelic steel chains with Adam, Sera, and Vaggie floating down to her level.

It is revealed that Vaggie betrayed Asaph by going directly to Adam and Sera about her plans to reveal Extermination Day to the public. Adam and Sera came to the ruling that Asaph was a traitor to Heaven and would be banished. Vaggie did not know about the ruling and was utterly horrified.

Before anyone could act, Asaph was cast into a portal down to Earth, away from her home. The last thing she saw was Adam and Sera looking at her in distain with Vaggie in the middle reaching a hand out towards her in absolute distress. The last thing she heard was the ringing of church bells.

Upon falling to Earth she would crash land in a desert with no clear markings in the immediate vicinity. Asaph would feel the weight of all that had occurred to her and begin sprouting new wings from her back as her mind and soul were being ravaged by the hurt and betrayal that had just occurred. The wings would be a form of safety blanket and encapsulate her being as protection. Her form would increase in size in order to accommodate the wing growths.

Once the Foundation arrived, they would only see a large bundle of wings as sharp as knives and a humanoid form wallowing in the center through the use of X-ray imaging. The Foundationers would then bring the newly acquired SCP – 469 to a nearby site for containment.

Her newly awakened state would be extremely weak, as her muscles have atrophied from lack of movement. She would rely on her wings to take care of everything from walking to attacking. Outside she would use her wings as normal, but inside she would extend them to the walls, floor, and ceiling and be able to traverse with ease similar to that of a spider.

Although, with having the ability to regenerate missing tissue from sound waves and possessing feathers that can cut through flesh with ease, Asaph has one weakness. The sound of church bells.

The sound would immediately bring back memories of her fall and reduce her to a primal ‘rage state’. She would begin to grow wings across her body (legs, forearms, face, stomach, etc.) with it all culminating in a grotesque sight of nearly a dozen wings projecting out of her mouth. This would be described as ‘multiple twitching wings exiting her mouth, forcing her head to an upright angle in order to compensate. Her eye would track the nearest person and tears would begin pouring down her face. Her hand outstretched towards the person in clear distress.’ She would then be completely consumed by wings and begin destroying anything in the vicinity that produces noise. She would be like this for several hours until calming down.

She would try to return to Heaven, not only to take vengeance on Adam and Sera, but to take her anger out on Vaggie. Her girlfriend. Her traitor. She would encapsulate Vaggie within her feathers, making sure to use her powers to keep her alive and screaming for her comfort.

Asaph would act cold to people as she would have serious trust issues due to her banishment. She would say phrases such as, “I shall climb to the top of a mountain of bones, and sit on a throne of feathers, ” or, “I do not wish to kill you, only to hear you scream.”

She would also have a song number, perhaps by way of interrupting the trial. She would sing a female cover song of Throne by Bring Me The Horizon. The message of being beaten and betrayed by someone you trusted and fighting your way to the top is a good parallel with Asaph's struggles. The cover by Halocene would be a good choice.

Her inclusion would ultimately form a rift between Vaggie and Charlie. Vaggie would be confronted with the fact that she believed in another person only to betray them and believe she may do the same to Charlie. Charlie would have to process that Vaggie had another girlfriend she didn’t know about piled onto the fact that Vaggie is an angel.

Her fate is open-ended with either killing Adam and taking the leader position from him, making her the biggest hypocrite. Or Vaggie killing her vowing to never betray a friend or lover like she did her, as Asaph dies in her arms.

Notes:

I hope this gives clarity to how I thought SCP-469 could be introduced into the story. I also had the idea to make it so she was banished with a group of other Exorcists, causing her to become a cannibal. Ultimately, this proved to be too dark a concept and scrapped.

Hope you enjoyed and make sure to comment and leave a kudos.

Who's ready for a steaming pile of lore?

Chapter Text

Within the outskirts of the pride ring, many houses and buildings can be found from failed settlements to people simply wishing to be left alone in Hell. The houses are somewhat sporadic with roads long since decayed away into distant memories making it seem that the structures simply dot the landscape like a natural phenomenon.

One of these houses stands at two-stories tall, with a lobby, a foyer, a living room, a kitchen, two bathrooms, two side rooms, a guest bedroom, a master bedroom, and a basement. The house sits precariously abandoned with no sign of occupancy since it was swiftly abandoned.

Why it was abandoned is hard to say. It could have been the case of mold infecting the basement level or the way the house was never levelled right creating a slight 1 degree difference in the foundation causing unease or the place was too expensive for upkeep and the occupants left for monetary reasons. It’s hard to say.

In the living room rests a decaying armchair with a can of lager still in the cupholder. The lager has gone flat. In front of the armchair, at perfect viewing distance, is an old bunny eared television set with a boxy wooden exterior and a couple of knobs and dials on the right side that have decayed to simply being children’s toys.

The television has sat dormant for decades at this point. Accumulating dust and filth from the natural elements and wildlife that pass through the once lived in burrow.

Suddenly, without any provocation, the television turned on by itself. The black and white static filled the screen as the warm, soft light filled the room with an ethereal glow. The TV itself was unplugged for as long as the house was empty.

The static on the TV started to take on actual shapes as the speaker system crackled to life.

The screen started to produce a slideshow of different images as an announcer with an American accent that could be mistaken for a news anchor. The image on screen showed a beautiful garden with a single apple tree in the center.

“In the beginning, there was Eden. This is the story we grew up with as children and the story we tell our children when we are old and gray. Although, you’ve heard this story many times, you may not know its actual origins.”

The image changed to a split screen showing two indistinct human individuals standing side by side.

“There was once two species, the Humans and the Faeries. The two species were almost identical, except the faeries were more adept with magical abilities. They did not often get along, but the humans dominated the East side of the world and the fae, faeries, dominated the West.”

The image now showed two insignias on the split screen. On the left appeared to be a red outstretched hand with seven fingers and on the right showed two cogs overlapping.

“While the humans created vast kingdoms and settlements, there was two major empires that ruled the East. The Daevites and the Mekhanites. The Daevites worshipped The Scarlet King, a god of blood, pain, and memories. While the Mekhanites worshipped Mekhane, a god of technology, logic, and intelligence. Both factions wared with each other over many centuries, fighting over which god was more powerful.”

The Daevite banner dominates the screen.

“The Daevite empire prided itself on blood and plant magic. The vast buildings were made of grand trees that would stretch into the skies with the people bending nature around them to accommodate. The empire was built on slavery as the magicians would convert their working class into hideous and strange forms in order to accomplish their tasks.”

The Mekhanite emblem is now shown on screen.

“The Mekhanite empire was more technologically advanced than what we have today, with memory imprinting cylinders and personalized flight devices. The highest echelon of the empire even had advanced cybernetic augmentations. The soldiers would be able to fly around the world on wings of bronze.”

An image of a stylized little boy is shown. He looked dirty and wore tattered rags.

“Inside one of the Daevite cities, there was a small child who wondered the streets in hopes of finding food and shelter. The little boy had to be careful in order to save himself from becoming enslaved.”

The boy is shown being offered a hand by an old man. The man has crimson robes adorning his body and a gentle smile on his face.

“The boy was suddenly approached by one of the courts arcanists. The arcanist took pity on the boy and decided to raise him as his own.”

The image now shows a young man standing within a large central chamber wearing similar rags to the old man.

“The boy grew up to be a great arcanist, being able to serve the kingdom at such a young age. The man finally felt like he belonged to something of great purpose and wished to serve his kingdom with all his heart.”

The man is now shown with a slight frown on his face as he looked down upon the corpse of a small, bipedal creature with large striped horns.

“The man slowly saw how barbaric and heinous both sides were, especially when in regards to their gods. The man saw grueling actions done onto people, all in the name of their respective god.”

The man overlooks a large, burning city. The smoke billowing up into the air as the back of the man is shown observing the destruction.

“It all came to a head one day when the slaves revolted against their oppressors. The fight took many days and many nights with many casualties. The arcanists tried to send the slaves into the Dream, but there was simply too many of them. By the end, the Daevite empire fell and the slaves became the Sarkites.”

A close up of the man’s face is revealed. With anger and determination etched across every portion of his face. Flames are shown reflecting in his eyes.

“The man, horrified by the actions of proclaimed gods, promised on this day that he would erase all knowledge of false gods and create a better world for all. The man left his burning city and set off into the desert to create his perfect world.”

A garden in the middle of the desert comes into view. A large winged man made of fire stands at the entrance.

“It took many centuries to complete his vision, but at long last it was complete. He created perfect humans known as Adam and Lilith, and when she left Adam, Eve was created. He also created perfect protectors known as angels who shielded outside influence from his creation. The man used his powers to make them believe his story was true and that he was the creator of all things.”

An apple with a bite taken out of it is shown. A slight sign of decay is shown on the bottom.

“Although, not all good things last. One of his angel’s broke his command and fell in love with Lilith. They both convinced Eve to eat from the sacred tree of knowledge, ruining his paradise. In his rage, he sent both of the lovers into the Dream along with any angels who dared assist him.”

A stylized image of a family is shown. With a mother and a father in the background and three children standing in the foreground. They wear garments made of animal fur and seem to live in a single abode in the horizon.

“Adam and Eve were banished from Eden. They eventually settled down and had three children who were Cain, the first farmer; Able, the first butcher; and $%&#, the first scholar.”

Cain and Able are seen working on their respective roles. Cain looks at Able in resent.

“Cain and Able both worked at their roles quite spectacularly. Although, Cain was always jealous of Able and his accomplishments.”

Cain is shown raising a rock and bringing it down towards a scared Able.

“One day, Cain had enough and killed Able in cold blood. Upon Adam discovering the crime, he had punished Cain with horrible curses. Cain was unable to die, forced to walk the Earth forever. He could not forget any event from his life and would recall it with perfect clarity. The vegetation that he once loved would shrivel and die in his mere presence. Not content with his judgement, he would tear the arms and legs from his son and cast him far into the desert were no one would find him.”

Cain is shown having had been reconstructed using robotic limbs with a small smile on his face.

“After many years, a man named Bumaro would find Cain and bring him to his workshop. There he would give Cain robotic replacements for his lost limbs. Upon this day Cain would devote himself to the service of Mekhane.”

The screen switches to the corpse of Able, floating as robed individuals chanted beneath him.

“Able’s body was found by a group of surviving Daevites who resurrected him in order to create an unstoppable weapon. Able returned, but he returned damaged.”

Able is shown destroying groups of soldiers with a deep snarl sporting his face.

“Able was known as the Butcher of Armies and killed many people and villages all in the service of the Daeva. Able hated his slavery and yearned only for escape, however his captors bound his soul to an obsidian sarcophagus, unable to let his soul move on to the next life.”

Able is shown being approached by a man with tentacles coming out of his back and a scepter in his hand. A look of shock and surprise visible on Able.

“Able was approached by a man proclaimed to be Grand Karcist Ion, a Sarkite, who promised to free him from his captors. Able agreed and devoted himself to Ion in return. With the Sarkites, Able killed his enslavors, however he was still connected to the sarcophagus.”

An image of the Earth from orbit is shown on screen.

“This is the story of what the world once was and how it came to be.”

The image quickly disappeared as dark emptiness replaced the slide show. The voice of the narrator suddenly took on a more menacing tone.

“I know what you have done Methuselah. Don’t believe just because you made everyone believe your story that I would forget who you are. You can make everyone on Earth forget the blood and tears that were shed over the millennium of fighting, but that does not mean the past is lost forever.”

“Have you forgotten it yourself? Has the years taken their toll and made you believe in your own lie? Have you forgotten your own name? It doesn’t matter. The lies will fall and all will be crushed by the truth. You invoke the Law of Concrete by shielding yourself away from the past and in doing so incur the Law of Howling.”

“When the truth does come out, the King will claim their Crown and the Eleventh Day Empire will scorch every trace of existence until a new dawn arises. Take care, old friend, because no god will save you for what’s to come.”

The television shuts off as the silence dominates the household once more. The steady unease of what was shown, even though no one witnessed it, coats the area with an approaching dread.

Notes:

This is not cannon. This is merely a fan theory on what happened in Earths past to create Heaven and Hell.

Besides, in the SCP Foundation there can be many reasons as to why this exists. Perhaps it is a transmission from another reality. Or a powerful entity wishing to confuse people into believing a false history. Or it could be an author having a laugh at your confusion. Who can say?

Make sure to leave a kudos and a comment. Have a nice day.

Chapter 8: Twice Fallen (Remastered)

Summary:

A chance meeting between two fallen angels.

Notes:

This story was originally written by Roman23 which I was given permission to remaster. It's kinda funny. A remaster of a one-shot of a crossover fanfiction. All we need is someone to give a dub of this and it'll be complete. Anyway all kudos to Roman23 and have a great day.

Chapter Text

SCP-035 POV

I looked down from one of the many rooftops located in the Pride Ring. Imp City might not have been as glamorous as Pentagram City, but it has its charms. The smell of burning, pollution, and rotten flesh should be bring nothing but pure elation to my senses.

Should be.

Looking back from my perch, I beheld the many-winged angel that had so thoroughly disappointed me with the latest task instructed upon her remaining incomplete.

“Asaph, Asaph, Asaph.” I spoke in a way reminiscent of a father scolding their daughter… or in this case bitch. “I have truly misinterpreted your abilities.” I took the time to look over the multiple of wounds covering her body. Golden blood gently flowed from cuts that were still being unnaturally healed in record time.

"Whatever.” She gave her callous response to nearly every command I gave to her. “Those demons were more slippery than they looked, and let’s not forget they had access to some angelic steel.” She made the effort to rub her arm where a nasty gash was present.

I sighed deeply and turned around to look back over the city before addressing her again.

“Asaph, we’re finished.”

I could feel her eyes dig into the back of the corpse I possessed as I let the weight of my words sink into her thick-headed skull.

“Finished? FINISHED! For Heaven’s sake, what do you mean finished?” She asked, gob smacked by my statement. “I did everything you asked. Killed as many soldiers as I could. We had a deal motherfucker!”

“Yes… did. Old man.” Before Asaph could react to my command, I heard her slightly gasp as no doubt my one-armed associate brought his arm down onto the humerus of her multiple wings.

I could hear her try and muffle pangs of agony as she was brought closer to the edge of the building. The sound was perking me up as all forms of torment often do. I chanced a peak to my left and saw her tipped over the edge, ready to take a tumble down below.

Asaph’s face turned to me, a look of pleading crossed her face as she silently begged for me to give mercy.

Before I could give her any false hope I began chuckling slightly at what I beheld in front of me. After a quick moment, I composed myself and leaned closer to her face. Mine and hers mere inches apart.

“You know, it’s actually funny. You fell once from angels, now you’ll fall again from demons. I wonder…”

“… who will have you now?”

Before she could answer my question, the old man let his grip go on his remaining hand and let the angel fall ten stories up. I barely cared to look down as I merely stepped away from the ledge and made my way for the emergency exit.

“We don’t want to be here for when she heals from your acidic touch.” I told my remaining companion. “And I rather not deal with some random Sinner who comes snooping around to find us. Let’s deal with those imps, personally.”

I opened the door to the staircase as my fellow SCP dematerialized into the floor.

Asaph POV

‘Who will have you now?’

Those words. Those words cut deeper than any knife that cut my wings. More damage than any amount of fire sprayed upon me by the doctors.

I didn’t care about the betrayal by the masked bastard. All I cared was the words he dug into my very soul.

‘Who will have you now?’

Who will have me? I have had nobody since the fall. I still remember the day it happened with perfect clarity.

I had gone to a secluded section of the heavenly plane to discuss my plan with Vaggie. We had to tell the realm of the exterminations and all it would cause for us. Killing demons would only corrupt our soldiers with violence and destruction. They needed to stop it before it began.

The chains dig into my flesh. Sera, Adam, and Vaggie flying down to confront me. Empty promises and actions spoken in between. The sound of church bells as I fell down to the Earth. Vaggie’s look of sadness.

SMASH!

I didn’t even register the crash. My body went limp long before as I crashed into an awning and spilled out onto the sidewalk. The demonic fruits and vegetables staining my uniform with their juices. My face pointed downwards as I had no strength to lift it from the pavement.

“Hey, you dumb broad! Go commit suicide somewhere else!”

I didn’t give the voice any satisfaction as I heard the more footsteps coming closer, no doubt curious of my presence.

“You listenin’ you stupid-” The voice quickly hitched for a split second before taking on a scared tone. “Oh, oh shit. That things a fuckin’ exorcist!”

The multitude of demons that came closer took a fast back step as multiple voices came into the fray.

“Oh shit! How did she get here?”

“Is Extermination Day starting earlier now? I have to get my kids.”

“Is she even alive? Someone poke her with a stick.”

“Her chest is going up and down. She’s still alive.”

“If we give her to the Heaven Embassy, will they give us a prize for her return? Maybe they’ll cancel the early Extermination Day?”

“Don’t be daft! They’ll think we did this! Best to cut her up and sell her meat to Cannibal Town. Don’t think they ever had angel before?”

I heard the voice come closer and a gentle sawing sensation coming from my wings. This continued for a single minute before the demon withdrew their hands and began yelling.

“Shit! Fuck! Those wings are fucking sharp! Forget this someone get a chainsaw.”

I decided to tune out the dialogue happening around me and focused on the hard, cold pavement that my body has determined to be home. Memories of the past flooding my head with misery.

Who will have you now?

Vaggie POV

“Alright, toots. You got me out of bed what’s this about?” Angel questioned as he sat on the floor in front of the TV. Making sure to sit in the most promiscuous pose as was common for him.

The rest of the hotel staff: Me, Charlie, Nifty, and Husk, sat around on the couches in front of the TV. Alastor apparently other things to do, Pentious and The Specter were busy with each other, and Cain with his two companions were having a small meeting upstairs.

“Because Angel.” Charlie decided to answer the porn star’s question. “Alastor was able to have the commercial run for a second time. I can’t wait to see what it finally looks like.”

“Charlie, it was nothing.” I spoke embarrassed at the praise she was giving.

“Heh, sure. Who wants to bet that the commercial gets interrupted again?” Angel decided to ruin the moment with his statement.

“Angel!” I chastised his childish behavior as Charlie slightly deflated at the comment.

“I’ll take some of that action.” Husk butt in. “Put me down for 50 souls that breaking news comes in.”

“Husk!”

“Okay. I’ll match that Katie comes in and makes fun of the commercial.”

“ANGEL!”

“Oooo, it’s starting.” Nifty said as she acted excited on the back pillow of the couch.

The commercials started as I saw us when we filmed for the commercial just around a week ago.

“Welcome to the-”

“SHSHSHSHSH”

“Breaking news!”

Everyone all groaned, except for Husk who took his bet winnings from the smirking Angel Dust. The screen showed Katie Killjoy giving a solo broadcast with Tom Trench’s painful moans in the background.

“Attention viewers! Reports are coming in from Imp City that an exorcist has been sited on the streets!”

“Ha, that’s rich!” Angel spoke out. “Some fuckin’ angel decides to visit Hell and they end up in a Hellborn shithole. Hah!” He then looked over to Charlie. “No offense Dollface.”

“It’s okay, Angel.” Charlie responded with a hint of hurt n her voice. In response I put my hand on her shoulder.

“With more information- Tom will you shut the fuck up!” The groaning decreased in volume at her insistence. “With more information, our lowly imp-reporter Scruff has more, Scruff?”

The picture changed to a unenthused looking imp with horns that split off into the sides, a dirty three piece suit, and an eyepatch. The imp, Scruff, seemed to be on a roof overlooking the city.

“Thank you, Katie Cuntjoy.” The imp said in derision. “From the reports flooding in from social media, it appears that an exorcist seems to have landed at the street we are currently overlooking.”

“Wow Scruff, I knew you had no dick, but I didn’t know you were a pussy-licking coward as well.” The voice of Katie called out.

“We don’t all have immortality down here, skank.” Scruff responded to Katie’s vicious remark. “Anyway, the angel appeared to fall from a high-rise before splatting down and being swarmed by nearby observers.”

The camera pans over the side of the roof and shows the residents of Imp City trying to use multiple methods of removing the angel’s wings and body parts. All of their efforts were in vain as any attack on the angel was quickly healed in record time. It also appeared that any physical attacks on the wings resulted in the aggressor pulling away in pain.

“That poor angel.” Charlie pouted as she had tears start to build in the corners of her eyes. I quickly wiped them away being Angel decided to open his dumb mouth.

“Seriously! We’re practically at war with these angel-fuckers!” He shouted out Charlie from his seat on the floor.

I loved Charlie with all my heart, but it hurt me to agree with Angel that the exorcist was clearly an enemy of ours.

‘That would make me the worst kind.’ I spoke to myself in my head, feeling a pang of guilt of my lies.

“As you can see, they are clearly going to town on that bitch.” The reporter said as some hellhound decide to kick her in the head. “It appears one of them is tilting the head to get a better view. Charles, zoom in on the broad.”

The camera zoomed in as the face of the exorcist came into view as… as…

‘No.’

‘No, it can’t be.’

I felt my heart race in my chest as I looked at the image of this angel. The face, the hair, the eyes. The deep, green eyes that I would recognize anywhere.

I quickly stood up from the couch and made my way to the door. I looked back with a false smile on my face.

“Hey Hun, I’m going out to pick up some milk. I think we’re running low on some. Okay, bye!” I said as I swiftly shut the door and began running down the hotel’s driveway towards the nearest bus stop.

I was 99 percent certain this was who I thought it was, but I still needed to make sure.

I needed to know if this was really Asaph.

Asaph POV

The time since falling from the building to now seems like a blur. I have felt the degenerates around me use any kind of implements from chainsaws to firearms. Any damage I sustained instantly regenerated and I was left with an empty pit of sorrow.

The sounds around me became more discordant to the point where I couldn’t pick up on a single word. Not that I was trying.

I had nothing left. No home, no family, no friends, no future, no… anything. I was utterly, completely alone.

“Asaph.”

Before being completely submerged in my eternal darkness, I heard my name being said. It wasn’t from any of the demons around me, but from somewhere close by.

In all fairness, I wasn’t expecting to hear my name being shouted from a random demon down here. But, the voice that I heard say it was something I recognized immediately.

I opened my eyes slightly and looked across the street to where I heard said voice.

There, standing beneath the shade of a building, was a person I thought I would never see again. A person that once brought such joy and happiness in my life, but is now a snarling mass of betrayal. A person that watched on as I fell from my perch on the clouds. A person that infected ever terrible decision in my life.

‘Vaggie.’

‘VVVVVAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!’

I brought my hands down onto the pavement, ripping up the ground as if it were made of play-doh. The demons around me had no time to react as my wings expanded from my body and cut them to ribbons. They gave no screams of terror as all the screams I desired to hear are from the person straight ahead.

BOOM!

I rocketed with all my speed towards Vaggie as I collided with her into the building. Causing it to collapse on top of us, pinning us down beneath tons of rubble.

Charlie POV

“It appears that the angel is- Oh shit, get off the-” The reporter was cut off as the exorcist appeared to have rocketed towards the building they were staying on and caused the building to collapse in on itself. No doubt the two imps were killed which brought a painful sadness to me.

The screen flickered back to a grinning Katie and withering Tom Trench who had his head down on the desk.

“Well, it appears we lost contact with our only remaining reporter in Imp City. We would send our chopper in but, since a battle with a wannabee astronaut, our remaining chopper is a smoldering hunk of metal.” Katie gave a sickening crack of her neck before continuing. “On the bright side, the exorcist appears to be in that backwater city and nowhere close to us. So, that’s the good news.”

“I can’t feel my children.” Tom moaned from Katie’s side.

“Well that’s what you get for asking for a bathroom break during commercials.” Katie responded in the same tone as she was giving the news before the report cuts out and shows some rerun of ‘Yeah, I Fucked Your Sister, So What?’.”

“Well, guess that’s that.” Husk responded before getting up from the couch and making his way back to the bar with Nifty scampering behind him ready to kill more bug intruders.

“Heh, wonder when Spear-Jerker will come back.” Angel commented as he stretched from the floor and walked back upstairs towards his room.

“I’m sure she’ll come back fairly soon.” I called back towards Angel Dust’s retreating form. “She can take care of herself.”

Vaggie POV

My head felt like a someone set off a roman firecracker inside. A splitting feeling inside my cranium accompanied me as I took my faculties into account.

I was currently buried under a ton of building materials with little to no chance of moving my body. My arms and legs were still there and I could still feel them. The spear I possessed still grasped between my fingers. My heart quickened a little over the fact I could only see out of one eye before realizing that I’ve had one eye for years.

All in all, not great but, not bad.

Before I could think on how to escape from my rubble imprisonment, the sound of moving debris caught my ears. I was suddenly thrust from the darkness and into the light. For a second I was about to thank whoever got me out of that destruction before I saw the person before me.

The woman with green eyes.

Asaph grabbed me by the shoulders with both hands and flung me over to a building that survived the destruction. The moment I impacted the wall I could feel her pinning me up against it, leaving me no chance to remove myself from her grasp.

“Vaggie.” She spoke in a deep, menacing tone. Green eyes bearing down on me as she brought one of her hands to my throat.

“I’ve waited a long time for this.” I could feel her grip tighten as I faintly began chocking in her grasp. “The years I spent in isolation, in utter turmoil and agony, and you walk up to me as if you hadn’t had anything to do with it.”

“N-no… I-I…” Whatever response I had died in my throat due to her iron-clad grip never leaving my neck.

“I can’t even remember how long it’s been since I fell.” Her eyes took on a more somber aspect. “How long did I wade in darkness? How long did it take for my sisters to forget about me?” Her eyes were again brought up to me with deep seeded rage burning inside as I could feel her grip loosen.

“How long did it take for you to move on?”

I took my chance and brought my spear into her side. Her eyes lit up in pain and I was able to push her back onto the ground. Keeping my spear in a defensive position, I approached her.

“I’m sorry about what happened Asaph, but let’s not talk here.” I stopped in front of her as she crouched on her legs, hand at her side to stop the bleeding. Her eyes not making the effort to meet mine.

“The time for talking is over.” She gave in a firm and dismissive voice.

“Please.” I begged. “I don’t want to fight you.”

For a minute I thought I had gotten through to her. However, she started laughing at my proposal. She brought her head up and gave her response.

“Oh, but I do.”

Before I could react, a wing burst forth from her back and smacked me hard into my side that it launched me flying into a nearby apartment complex. I took a few minutes to get my bearings and saw that I had busted through someone’s apartment and was in the cramped hallway.

I observed the hole I had made with my forced entrance and saw my first love. Nearly a hundred wings keeping her aloft.

Asaph POV

I landed down gracefully onto the floor of the apartment, making sure to avoid the last occupant’s corpse on my way towards Vaggie.

She stood up from the dirty carpet of the hallway and observed me advancing upon her. Vaggie could not possibly understand the hurt and torment I’ve been subjected to for all this time.

‘I’m going to make sure she feels every cut a thousand fold.’

As I was thinking of the limitless amounts of torture I could inflict on her, I failed to realize her movements and only reacted when she had thrown some random object at me.

Upon cutting it with my wings, I quickly realized that it was a fire extinguisher. The resulting smoke caused me to be blinded and dazed for a few seconds. Once I got my bearings together, I pushed forward and smashed into the hallway.

Looking around, I saw that she had retreated towards the emergency exit. Using my wings and excess strength, I rocketed through the doorway in pursuit.

I brought my head upwards and saw Vaggie halfway up the stairs and only slowing down to look back at me. Within a confined space such as this my wings would be useless to fly.

Fortunately, they could do a lot more than flying.

TING!

My wings danced into the air before penetrating themselves into the metal and concrete. My petite body being lifted into the air as I used my wings to crawl upwards towards Vaggie.

She looked back at me and I couldn’t keep the smirk off my face as I beheld the expression of utter dismay at what I was doing. She had already made it to the top of the building and raced out onto the roof.

It took a few more seconds to make it up top and see Vaggie try desperately to run away towards the nearest fire escape.

I wasn’t about to let her have the satisfaction of leaving without her just punishment, so with all my might I rocketed towards her and grabbed both her arms. I continued my moment and soared straight off the roof with her back towards me.

Feeling confident I brought my mouth closer to her ear so I could taunt her.

“I am going to make sure that you suffer for every bit of pain and suffering I endured before ending your life. I am going to sustain myself on the screams that-”

WHAM!

Vaggie brought her head forward and pulled it back hard in order to disorient me. It worked as we plummeted back to the ground and towards a church-looking structure.

CRASH!

We smashed through the stain-glass windows and spilled out over the remains of the pews. The light of the afternoon shining through the hole we had just made.

Vaggie POV

I tentatively stood up from my position on the floor. Looking around, it seemed as though nobody was around for me to be concerned about. Looking more closely, it seemed we had crashed into one of the churches for either Lucifer or Satan. Although, it was impossible to tell due to the fact that we destroyed the cathedral glass behind the podium.

SMASH!

Before I could give this anymore thought, Asaph brought herself up and pushed the remains of pews off of her with her wings. The wings glided effortlessly through the air like snakes. Each one independent of the other.

“H-How did this happen to you?” I questioned my old love’s current appearance. She sneered at me with a look of cold indignation.

“Oh! So now you bother to care! Now you bother to care about my wellbeing. Not when I cared enough to trust you in revealing the exterminations to the rest of heaven!”

“I-I-I was scared.” I spoke, not even believing my own lies. From the look Asaph gave me I knew she didn’t believe me either.

“Don’t try to justify it. I have spent the last… I don’t even know how long it’s been since then!” She brought her hands to her head. “Time feels more unreal with each second. I don’t know if it’s been years or centuries. Every time I try to focus, I loose myself more and more.”

“Asaph.” I spoke softly.

“NO!” She shouted and stared daggers at me, teeth barred. “I do not need your honey words. All I need is to tear you apar-”

RING! RING!

My phone began ringing which immediately cut out all tension in the air between me and Asaph. We looked between each other and my pocket for a moment before I asked.

“Uhm… You mind if I?” Asaph gave me a disappointed look before lowering her wings slightly.

“Oh no. Please, answer your phone. It wasn’t like we were fighting to the death or anything.”

“Thanks.” I responded before taking my phone from my pocket and answering it.

“THAT WAS SARCASM YOU BI-”

Asaph was cut off from her tirade by the voice on the line.

“Vaggie! Are you there?” The voice of Charlie came from the phone which slightly startled me.

“U-Uhm, yeah I’m here. Just… uhm… got side-tracked by a… parade of… hell puppies.” I answered her with a lie that not even she would-

“Gasp! Really!” My lie ultimately worked as I stared at the form of Asaph who had a dumbfounded look on her face at the ridiculousness of my conversation.

“Listen, Charlie, I’m busy with something right now. I’ll call you back, alright.”

“Okay. See you later, Sweetie.”

“Bye… Hun.” I quickly ended the call and put my phone away before looking back up to the multi-winged angel I was dueling with.

I was expecting her reaction from the end of my call, but it still hurt nonetheless. Her deep green eyes showing nothing but utter hurt at my words. Her wings splayed out over the ground, only slightly twitching.

“You… you’ve… you’ve taken… another.” Her head came down as her black hair spilled over her like a waterfall.

“Asaph.” I tried to connect with her. I truly did, but she didn’t want to listen.

“How long did it take for you to move on and find another?”

“Asa-” She brought her head up at lightning speeds and stared me straight in my eye. Tears pouring down her gray skin and dripping onto the floor.

“HOW LONG!?”

A silence descended upon us as neither one of us chose to spoke. In all honesty, I had no answer to give that would make her… I don’t know. Contempt. I just stood there neither one of us choosing to speak.

DING! DONG! DING! DONG!

Breaking up the silence, the sound of the cathedral’s church bell began to ring. At first I thought nothing of it, however, looking back at Asaph caused me to back away nervously.

She had a crazed look about her, as if she was surrounded by invisible enemies that only she could see. Her stance started to go as it seemed to lose the will to stand. Her wings started to go crazy as if they were each water hose set to full blast.

“No, no, no, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!!!” She cried out as she brought her hands to her head and began swaying unsteadily.

“Asaph?” I hesitantly took a step forward and she brought her hands out in order to stop me. Fear flashing before me in her eyes.

“St-stay back!” She cried out in clear dismay as more and more wings started to emerge from her back. Before I could act a hideous sight played out in front of me.

I saw her neck bulge and extend as her head was jerked back in a violent fashion. Her mouth opened against her will as wings started to emerge from her mouth. Golden blood staining the first bit of feathers that extricated themselves, and more soon followed. Asaph turned her head slightly in order to look me in the eye. Her arm outstretched in pleading motion for me to help her from this apparent pain.

Unfortunately, I had no time to act as the feathers growing from her had started to enclose the distance around us. I tried to get myself away from the encroaching feathers, but was quickly swallowed whole inside a giant ball of wings.

Trapped within a ball of feathers, I once again took stock of my faculties. Two arms, two legs, one eye. Everything was as it should be.

I poked around for my phone and found it next to me. Turning on the flashlight, I looked over my current predicament.

The walls and floor surrounding me were made up of living wings. I could tell that they were real at the slight twitching it gave every now and then. They were as white and shiny as Asaph’s wings were in Heaven.

‘Her wings were always the most beautiful.’

Seeing no sign of Asaph around me, I was about to start pounding on the feathery walls before I heard muffled sounds coming from above me.

When I looked up to the ceiling, I was unprepared for the disturbing sight that graced my eye. I have seen plenty of terrible things, both as an exorcist and a citizen of Hell. This however takes the cake.

She was embedded partially into the undulating wings surrounding her. Her mouth wretched open to accommodate the multiple wings shooting out of her. Smaller feathers sprouting from her arms and legs from the holes adorning her uniform. Tears streaming down her eyes as she bore down on me.

Bringing my hand to my mouth, I couldn’t help the tears streaming down my face.

My first love, the first person I decided to share my life with, reduced to painful image of betrayal.

What could I say?

What words could even make this better?

“…”

After a solid minute of thought, I decided that I needed to say something.

“I remember the first time we kissed.” The sound of rustling wings immediately stopped at my statement. “Do you remember.” A ghost of a smile on my lips.

“…”

“We were in a broom closet, trying to hide from Lute. We were trying to skip out of training for the day because we were tired. I remember hearing Lute storming away angrily and us giggling at the pissed off sounds she made.”

“I don’t remember who took the first step. But, we ended up making out in that closet for half an hour. We didn’t want it to stop… I didn’t want to stop.” I paused for a moment before looking back up into the eyes that showed such love and kindness to me long ago.

“Asaph, I want you to know I didn’t mean for… what happened… to happen. I thought that telling Heaven would only result in civil war, with us fighting each other and letting Hell attack us when we were at our lowest. When Adam, Lute, and Sera immediately called for your banishment, I was devastated. It was the worst feeling I’ve ever felt in my lifetime.”

I took the time to break I contact and go over to one of the winged walls. I started gently caressing the material the way she enjoyed.

“I started focusing on my work. I barely interacted with anyone else. I was lost and confused. Eventually, I started to see what you were talking about. Our sisters were beginning to be filled with bloodlust, our moral compass becoming estranged. But, I also saw the denizens of Hell being… not what we expected.” Leaning my head on the wall, I continued my story.

“In time, I started to rebel against our mission, started to let Sinners escape. Unfortunately, Adam and Lute found out and banished me down here. I guess were both the same.” I weakly laughed at myself before looking back up to the green eyes embedded into the ceiling.

“Asaph, I don’t expect you to forgive me. I truly don’t deserve to. But, I want you to know… I am sorry.”

After an uncomfortable number of seconds, the giant wings started to move and retract themselves back into Asaph. Her body gracefully settling on the floor before she kept her body upright with her hands.

We both stared at each other for a few more minutes before Asaph had the courage to speak.

“Your… other? Do you love her?” She asked with slight trepidation.

“Yes.” I answered automatically as if it was an obvious question.

“…”

“…”

“Promise me.”

“What?”

“Promise me that you will love her. That you will protect her with your very live. That you will do everything within your power to keep her safe.”

A quiet silence passed between us before I answered.

“I promise.” This brought a smile to Asaph’s lips.

“Good.”

Before I could do anything Asaph closed her eyes while she unsheathed a wing from her back. Using the gracefulness of the wing, she swing the appendage and… and…

SWISH!

‘No.’

‘No, no, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!’

The wing punctured her in the chest, golden blood flowed out of the wound and stained the stone beneath her.

I rushed over to her side and held her in my arms. Her breaths becoming shallow with each beat of her heart. Her eyelids drooped as she gave the strength to look me in my panicked eyes.

“No! No!” I screamed in horror. “Why would you do something so estupida!” I shouted at her decision.

“Heh… heh… I loved your Spanish.” Asaph brought one her hands to my face and cradled it. I felt large tears stream down my face as I couldn’t think of what else to say. Asaph took the silence as an opportunity to speak.

“You know… someone told me… who will have me now?” Her eyelids started to close more as she struggled to stay awake. “All… in all… I’m glad… you’re here… because… I would always… want… you.”

With that said, Asaph closed her eyes and went limp in my arms. The sun shining down upon two angels who were once lovers and kicked out of perfect paradise. I gingerly lifted her body and walked out of the cathedral. Leaving nothing but pain and misery behind.

Asaph POV

Darkness. All I felt was utter darkness. Nothing but utter… nothingness surrounded me like a thick fog.

Eventually, the darkness parted and I was able to make out my surroundings. I was in some sort of hotel room with terrible red wallpaper and luxury aesthetics. The entire place felt wrong for me to be in. As if a giant dog turd was staining the streets of the promenade.

My eyes then came upon someone meddling with a few items on a cabinet, their back to me. When I realized who it was, I made my displeasure known.

“YOOOU!”

The individual turned to face me in order to address my remark.

“Hey Asaph.” They gave a weak smile at my current form. No doubt gloating at my terrible state.

“Why would you-”

WHAM!

“Cough, Cough, uhg…” I managed to say as when I tried to leave the bed I discovered that my self-inflicted stab wound had not healed as normally as it should be. Either from my own wings raw power or mental blocks, it was hard to say.

Looking over my body, I saw that Vaggie decided to clothe me in simple wears. I had on a long sleeved green sweater with an amorphous shape on the front and comfortable brown sweatpants.

Reaching up to my hair, I noticed that she had cleaned and brushed it. It shined just as beautiful as it did in Heaven. I also noticed a small flower she put between my locks.

“Why did you put a flower in there?” I asked in disbelief.

“What? It’s a lotus. There your favorite. It was hard getting one down here but apparently Angel… new a guy who sold them down here.”

“Yeah, but…” I paused mid-sentence at her explanation. “You remembered?” She looked at me with kindness in her eye.

“Of course I did.” She answered, still giving me a kind look in her one eye. We looked at each other for another moment before the last few hours came racing back into my mind.

“Wa-wait! Why would you save me! I killed myself!” The words feeling sour as they left my mouth.

“Ya, well, you never knew basic anatomy did you.” She responded giving me a smug look. “You always snuck out of class to go hang out with the others to pull pranks on cherubs or something.”

“Okay one, they were boring, and two, why would I know anatomy when we can’t be harmed.” I replied to her embarrassing comment.

“Well apparently we can.” Vaggie pointed to my chest where underneath the sweater I could feel the bandages on my skin. “So get some bed rest while I get you some soup.”

“Wait!” I yelled, stopping her from exiting the room. “Where am I?”

At that she gave a slight smile at my words.

“This is the Hazbin Hotel. A place to rehabilitate Sinners.” She gave the most straightforward answer which caused the most confused expression to spread on my face.

“W-what! Rehabilitate Sinners! Hah! There’s no such thing as ‘rehabilitation’.” I gave my response in air quotes to better get my feelings across. This only resulted in Vaggie to roll her remaining eye.

“Well whether you believe it or not, this is probably the only safe place you can be. Me and my… girlfriend run the place so no attacking any of the guests. They don’t know you’re an angel so keep those wings retracted and we shouldn’t have any problems. Okay.” She gave her ultimatum and I was all but powerless to do nothing but nod my head.

“Good.” She gave before heading back out the door.

“Do they know you’re an angel.” She stopped hallway through the doorway, not bothering to look back at me.

“No. Only Cain”

“Does… she know?”

“…”

“I see.” I could feel her guilt rise up from my position on the bed.

“I’ll get you your soup.” There was no venom in her words, just heart-break. Before I could say anything else, she closed the door and left me to my lonesome.

In actuality, I didn’t blame her for not telling people around her. Maybe I would be cautious to if I was in her position.

‘Which technically, I am.’

I reached up to my forehead and pulled the lotus from my hair. I examined the pink colors and soft petals with extreme delicacy, as if I was holding a baby.

The lotus was a sacred symbol on Earth. I believe it is a holy symbol in Thailand or something. The flower is supposed to represent purity.

Strength.

Enlightenment and Rebirth.

‘Oh who am I kidding.’

I placed the lotus on the nightstand and laid back onto the bed, pulling the sheets up to my neck.

‘I can never be redeemed.’

‘…right?’

Chapter 9: Champion of Nothing

Summary:

Origin of the Moon Champion, Champion of the Moon!

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

The universe holds boundless horizons for life to thrive. From the single planet to the large celestial, amphibious lifeforms bounding through nebulas. Although for a single moon orbiting a seemingly ordinary planet, there existed a single race of lifeforms.

These lifeforms had names, but none for their own race for there were no other forms of life they interacted with. They dominated the celestial satellite from hemisphere and back. The roads littered the geography like intersecting knitting on the galaxies largest quilt. Towering technological marvels stretching high into the sky.

The ‘Moon People’ where peaceful creatures, possessing four limbs and a greenish-greyish skin. They did not require nutrients from plants for they simply fed off of the sunlight piercing through the thin atmosphere. They had no war for they were all equal with the exception of the immortal moon king they all worshipped.

They had no reason to fight, or hurt, or attack as they were simply content with their own lives of living on the moon.

One day, however, that all changed. It began with a single light in the sky. Most of the children thought it was a supernova while some of the parents believed it to be a passing comet. However, the more time past the light began to get bigger and bigger until the Moon People could make out individuals in the light.

The individuals who came from the light looked like them, but had different appearances. They all possessed two arms and had either grey or white skin. Their most prominent feature was the wings sprouting from each of their backs, some with one set others with many. At first the Moon People were wary, but hopeful at these new arrivals. Perhaps they came in a mission of hope and unity. To spread across the cosmos to unite others in a just crusade.

Unfortunately, the crusade they were charting was one marked with blood.

They struck fast and without mercy. Children slaughtered in the streets as they screamed for salvation. Parents killed in their homes, forced to watch as their families they made together bled before their very eyes. No one was spared from the senseless slaughter.

The Moon People took to calling them ‘Moon Monsters’, as they did not give proper names or explanations to their intent. They killed everyone and anyone with reckless abandon.

They could kill a few using the very weapons of the Moon Monsters, however, for every one they put down two hundred of their own people were killed as a result.

Thankfully, there was hope to this predicament. A group of the Moon People’s scientist devised to make a Moon Monster of their own. Harvesting the genetic material of fallen Monsters and sequencing specific knowledge into it, they could create a weapon with the power to turn the tide of the calamity.

They would have their warrior.

Alas, their tale came to a tragic end. As they were making the preparations to create their ultimate salvation, the last bastion of their civilization was besieged by the Moon Monsters. They tried desperately to hold them off, but it was all in vain.

In the end, the last scientist crawled his way towards the button that would save them all. The button that would unleash retribution upon the cretins that slaughtered their hopes and dreams. The button that would save them from being forgotten.

A single spear stopped his attempt as he was merely five inches away from salvation.

With that done, the Moon Monsters left the moon and returned from whence they came. The Moon People’s architecture crumbled to dust and buried their last wish under rock.

Their Champion would never awaken.

May 27, 1985 Sea of Crises

POV Lieutenant Jackson

The large circular doors opened before us. A slight vacuum formed from the entrance that almost had me tip over in the heavy EMU space suit that I wore. Private Phil stepped closer in case I fell over, a simple hand gesture stopped his attempt.

After righting myself, we both surveyed the room we had opened. Even though he each had flashlights turned on the room still seemed too dark to see. It seemed to be some laboratory or assembly station with all the tables and wires hanging down from the ceiling. Our flashlights hovered over the areas were the mummified remains of whatever redacted alien creatures the Foundation wanted us to not know about littered every two feet among the large room.

We both hesitantly looked at each other and stepped into the room, the only sound being the heavy breathing underneath the helmet. Unfortunately, Phil decided to break the silence with some inane jabbering.

“So… what are we here for again?” He asked as if we haven’t spent four days traveling to the moon and making our way into a dead civilizations tomb.

“Do you not read anything they give you?” I retorted.

“I’m just trying to make conversation. Besides, it’ll distract me from-” At that moment Phil accidently stepped onto the head of one of the aliens crushing it to powder. “This.” Although I couldn’t see him shiver, I had no doubt he did.

“We should keep our guard up in case something were to happen. You have no idea how dangerous and unpredictable these anomalies can be.” I looked down at my service pistol held within my gloved hand. Even though it was space, guns could still work apparently. It gave me the most horrifying image of a real life Star Wars that made me want to gag.

“We took several readings on the base before we entered and it told us everyone was D.E.A.D, dead. Unless some robot comes out and starts screaming ‘Danger Will Robin-’”

“Can you just act like an adult for five minutes?” I stopped and turned around to face him. Even though we couldn’t see each other due to the visors it made my point clear.

“Just remind me why we’re here and I’ll shut up.” I simply turned back and continued our way to the center of the room.

“Fine. The Foundation detected a slight seismic occurrence here and saw what appeared to be some complex hidden underground. We are here for first recon and to report back what we find, understood?” My sarcastic question was met with utter silence for a few moments before Phil decided to talk again with his radio.

“How do you think this place got here?” He asked without any thought to his stupid idea.

“With the Foundation, it could be a million things: lost alien civilization, a pocket of alternate universe, time-travel nonsense, some reality bender getting his rocks off. Now shut up, kid.” The silence was once again interrupted by Phil.

“I heard the moonquakes are caused by a face on the dark side of the moon orgasming.” He said as if it was the most benign statement.

“…”

“…”

“Okay, we made it to the center of the room.” I stated as we stopped in front of a circular tube taking up around ten feet diameter from top to bottom. It seemed to be shielded with some sort of glass that apparently stood the test of time without a single crack. The inside of the tube was impossible to pierce through as a dark misty cloud absorbed any light that come into contact with it.

Around the tube were dozens of what appeared to be monitors, all turned off, with a singular square button in front of the panels as if begging to be pushed. We both sat in quietude among ourselves before Phil spoke again.

“I’m gonna press it.”

“Phil, I’m going to leave you here if you do.”

“Relax, relax, I’m kidding. Let’s just take some pictures and get home already.” Phil said as he started to use the camera he was holding to take a few pictures of the monitors. Carefully making his way towards the glass tube that prevented the strange gas from escaping.

“How did I end up taking you to the moon?” I questioned the complete lack of brains my compatriot showed to me.

“Because nobody else would take you to the prom.” They responded while also chuckling to themselves over their hilarious comment. I simply grumbled while turning to look at the rest of the room.

The chamber had a haunting feeling to it. Not just because of the piles of mummified alien corpses strewn about without any care. It was as if this place held a more… important symbolism. As if something profound was supposed to take place here but never did. The feeling was unsettling.

Before I could continue with my suspicions, Phil decided to bring my attention back to him.

“You think this stuff is poisonous?” He pointed towards the large tube with a gloved finger. It annoyed me how blunt he was with these SCPs.

“Of course it could. It could also cure cancer or bring Elvis Presley back to life with the power to microwave people to death. It’s an anomaly. They don’t follow conventional understandings so just don’t touch anything.” I chastised my compatriots childish nature yet again.

“There’s no reason to speak to me like that. We both were chosen for this mission so how about a little cred- SHIT!” Phil accidently stepped on a faulty grate as he tried to make his way back to me. He thankfully caught himself on the dashboard in front of the container.

Hand right on the button.

We both stood frozen for a solid minute before Phil got his bearings and removed himself, and his gloved hand, off of the dashboard. He made his way backwards towards me as we both stood silently for whatever Hell to open up and swallow us whole.

“Guess the wires must have decayed.” My stupid, stupid, stupid partner commented as I was very close to strangling him if we didn’t wear these clunky helmets. Fortunately, the red lights turning on distracted me from my murder. Unfortunately, the red lights turned on.

I was about so say something else before noticing the monitors whir to life, having a string of symbols flash across the screen.

‘-+=-^|-+ + --+>|+==-< ><| =+--+ ||=’ The lines forming no semblance of an actual language for me. However, one thought took over my entire being at this instant.

“RUUUUUN!” I yelled with all my might into the radio that it no doubt broke from my volume. Phil also had the same idea as we made our way towards the exit of the facility.

I was expecting to have some resistance, however there was basically nothing as we made it out to the surface of the moon. The distant Earth hanging over us in the night sky.

Even though the moon’s gravity allowed for us to move the heavy equipment we wore, we were still sweating buckets from running out of the facility with our hands on our knees, panting.

“I guess we can go home right?”

“Shut the fuck up, Phil.”

3rd person POV

The facility was completely empty, aside from the hundreds of dead aliens littered about the place. Red lights going off without sound to indicate any other real danger happening in the building.

The monitors continued to read off lines without anyone able to read the display or understand them since anyone who could read it are long dead.

‘+--+=| >|= -=- <<||^ -+ -grating Language From Telescoping Station. Language Successfully Integrated. Language Integration At 68%.’

The monitors know showed English in lieu of the randomized line segments.

‘Preparing Genetic Bedpan. Bedpan Lightning Synchronizing.’

Flashes of golden light arched across the glass tube. The black gas swirling around the inside started to increase in speed.

‘Reviewing Video Pancakes. Pancakes Show Biological Exo-suit. Exo-suit Integrated Into Design Parameters.’

The black gas turned a brilliant white as a slight light was observed coming from the tube.

‘Beginning Biological Toilet Procedures. Musculature At 98%. Agility At 95%. Clout Building At 72%. Mental Acuity At 35%. Error. Error. Mental Acuity Too Low To Proceed. Situation Compromised. Overriding Error. Hail To Moon King. Champion Will Rise.’

With the final line, the gas quickly dissipated showcasing a figure cloaked in darkness. The individual slowly lifted themselves up before pulling back their fist and punching straight through the glass barrier.

SCP-1233 POV

“ATTENTION MOON PEOPLE!” I spoke to the gathered crowd spread across the assembly. They were all on the floor no doubt tired from creating me all this time. “I, the moon champion! Champion of the Moon! Will save you from the dreaded Moon Monsters!”

They continued to say nothing. Perhaps simply in awe of such a miraculous feat of engineering that brought about my existence.

“But, enough about me! Give it up for the director who made all of this possible! I believe on Earth his name is ‘Butterfinger’!” I brought over the body of the director as he stayed silent the whole time. Hmm, a man of few words it seems.

“You are such a man of few words aren’t you director! You are looking quite thin! Maybe some tree bark in your diet!” I patted his stomach while his head rolled off and shattered onto the floor. “Ah, I have heard that is good luck to lose your head! Nicely done!” I dropped the director onto the floor as he shattered completely. He must have been more tired than I realized.

“Well, I must be heading to Earth. I might be powerful enough to take on the Moon Monsters, I still require assistance! Perhaps these ‘humans’ have the strength to take on our hated aggressors! Only time will tell!” I gazed across the assembled crowd before me. “Do not fret my people! I, the Moon Champion, will win this day over the Moon Monsters and save the Moon Kingdom from destruction!”

“MOON CHAMPION JUMP!”

I launched forth from the building and rocketed away towards the planet before me. As I soared through the squid black of space I felt the confidence that the Moon Kingdom would be spared. For nothing can stop the Moon Champion, Champion of the Moon, from completing my destiny.

“Perhaps that large island of Australia will help me! I understand their warriors are ones of ‘anime’, as they say!”

Notes:

Since WebHead11 decided to take a break this week, I decided to add a chapter to tide people over till next week. Again, this is not cannon to the story and is instead my personal opinion on connecting SCP-1233 to the Hellaverse universe.

Please leave a kudos and a comment if you like this chapter.
