Poems, pine trees, a switchblade, diners, late night conversations, old motels, gay panic, books, the open road, an old convertible, dancing, one Chilean actor, cigarettes, and passion. All these things combine to create one unforgettable road trip.

    ON HIATUS (Writer’s block)

    EXCERPT:
Jack comes back to the table and his hair is very clearly fiddled with. Pedro can easily tell he did himself up a bit in the mirror, which he finds endearing—and that guy was right, Jack looks way better with his hair pushed back. He also had a grey armband around his right elbow. It added a certain style to his outfit, but for some reason, the older man neglected to mention the new accessory.
"Trying to impress me, kid?" Pedro raises a bushy eyebrow. His fingers tap on the table.
"Hardly." The boy replies. He sits back down, correctly this time, however.
"Y'know I usually hate attitude, but yours is new," the older man takes a sip of his Coke. "You know, you look good with your hair pushed back like that."
"Yeah I do, that's why I did it."
