Chapter Text
Imagine an Alpha Ghost who has to welcome an Omega into 141 without sending the other Alphas into a frenzy. So he talks to Price, hoping for some advice. However, mentioning an Omega being enclosed quarters sends his Alpha Alphaa frenzy, worrying about how to protect the little Omega. While he talks to Price, you make an unexpected arrival on base.
You walk off the chopper with your bag strapped to your back. You watch different alphas run around; you look for the Alpha alpha, who is supposed to be your guide. You look for someone with a skull-shaped mask and catch the attention of a young soldier who appears to be a young alpha.
You watch him out of the corner of your eye as he eyes you like his next meal. You turn your back to him, hoping to tell him you're uninterested. Then, you check your wrist for your suppressor's patch, noting that it is barely at the halfway mark.
God, where was this Alpha?
“Hello, you seem lost,” he said. You glance at him, ignoring him, hoping he’ll leave you be…Yeah, no dice.
“Oi, I’m talking to you,” he says, grabbing your arm; you instinctively scratch at him. “You bitch”, he says before taking a swing at you; you duck under his swing, tackling him to the ground clawing at him and growling because how dare he touch you after you showed him no interest.
Causing the other soldiers to surround you, creating an unmovable barrier around you and this Alpha; you pinned him down, using what you had free, mainly your feet and elbows.
You are quickly pulled off the young alpha.
Alphaatch as another alpha grabs the younger alpha piAlpha him, you managed to get one last kick in before you are manhandled out of the space and rushed off to the med bay, great just GREAT, you’re already in deep shit, and you haven’t even officially started yet.
Chapter Text
You watched as your legs swung off the exam table. In the Med Bay, you stared at the Alpha who hauled you into the Med Bay after the scuffle with that young Alpha. You wondered if you could take him in a fight. As if he read your thoughts, he glared at you.
You shifted your eyes from the man in front of you to the Doc on the other side of the room. You pulled your legs up onto the table as you watched him gather wipes and plasters. Doc sat down on a small rolling stool, sliding across to the table.
You watch him eye your scrapes, and bruises setting out each wipe and plaster accordingly you pull away from Doc not wanting him to touch you, Doc tears open a wipe and shows you his hand with the wipe in it before he tries to touch you swipe at his hand warning him.
The Alpha growls at you, causing you to snap your head in his direction. Glaring at him, you growl in response, not backing down. Your growl scared the Doctor.
“Ok, Captian, get out,” Doc said, irritated. The ‘Captain’ looked at Doc like he had just shot his puppy. “But Doc, she just took a swipe at you,” he huffed.“Only because she’s stressed out,” Doc snapped, getting out of his seat and pushing the ‘Captain’ out of the room into the hallway.
“Is that better now?” Doc asked as he watched your omega relax just a touch. “Yeah that’s much better” " he muttered, sitting back down in front of you and taking the wipe back in his hand; you swipe at him again; Doc took a moment, trying to find a solution
“Ok, here,” he said, holding the wipes out to you. You take it and happily clean your scrapes and apply the bandages. Doc rolls away from you towards his desk, picking up a notepad and pen and rolling back to you.
“Do you have a patch?” he questioned. You showed him your right arm, turning your wrist to him. “Can I check it?” he asked. You nodded as you applied the last bandages. He gently took your arm, gently probing at the area and gently pulling at the skin.
You watch him, knowing what he is looking for: a Red rash, bruising, broken or bleeding skin. When he finds nothing, he lightly grazes over the patch, checking its battery life.
“What make and model is it,” he asked.
“Avey’s Passion, model number Ao2978356”, you rattled off; Doc let your hand go and wrote down the make and model. You took the time to look at Doc, his deep brown hair littered with grey strands, pulled back into a sleek ponytail, his white coat accentuating the pink undertone, in his reddish-brown skin, you tilt your head trying to catch a glips of his eyes.
“Isn't the Avey passion not experimental?” the ‘Captian’ asked, causing you to jump and let out a little yelp; Doc glanced up at the ‘Captian’.
“Yes, to Alphas, but it has been around for years. The company used to be underground,” Doc said, looking back down at his notepad. He watched the ‘Captain’ staring at him, analysing him.
Doc lightly taps the table, gaining your attention. You look at his hand and then at him, waiting for him to speak.
“When was the patch issued? " he asked, looking at you expectantly. "Two and a half months ago,” you say. Doc only nods, writing it down. “Ok, and when was the last testing?” Your mind blanks. Doc looks up at you.
“Eh…two days ago,” you say. Doc nods and writes it down. “Ok, who tested it?” he asked. “Ben from Neo Crop,” you state. Doc writes it down, then tears off a piece of paper and holds it out to the ‘Captian’.
The ‘Captian’ takes it “What's this?” he questions, “Their prescription”, Doc replies. The ‘Captian’ looks down and nods his head, and he starts flicking his fingers as if he were counting.
“Right, okay, come on then, little one,” he says, turning to you. You growl at him, warning him to stay away. ‘Captain’ grabs your face, applying enough force so he doesn't hurt you.
“Now you listen here you little shit, I’m the Alpha and you're the omega so fucking act like one”, he grits out; you snarl at him, not backing down. Just because he was alpha didn't mean shit.

Chapter Text
Your growl vertebrates off the walls of the med bay; Doc bounces from his seat, quick to take a stand between you and the ‘Captain.’
“Captain, stop it, would you? The constant growling is giving me a headache,” Doc said nearly enough, barking at the ‘Captain’, forcing him to take a step away from you, “Doc? ” Doc nods his head. “Yes, really, out”, Doc says, pointing out of the room. The ‘Captain’ leaves finally, but not without a warning growl at you; Doc gives one back, telling him to stop.
“Well, now, wasn’t that fun?” Doc says as he closes the door and slides the lock in place with a click. “Why I didn’t do that in the first place, I don’t know,” he says, turning back to you. He sighs, walking over to his desk and picking up the phone that lay there. “Why are you here?”
“I’m the recruit from MI5, the specialist in Bioengineering,” you say, your fingers grazing over the freshly forming bruises on your skin; Doc’s eyes go wide “Ahhh, you’re the new one for the 141,” He says as he presses buttons on the phone, you watch as Doc waits for the phone to ring out to whoever he was calling.
“Sargent, come to med-bay. I have one of yours,” Was all Doc said before he hung up the call and placed the phone on his neat desk. I thought you weren’t supposed to come until Friday,” Doc said, walking over to a tap and filling a small plastic cup with water. He then walked back to you, handing out the small plastic cup.
You took it with a slightly shaky hand, your adrenaline high now, leaving you shaky and a little unsteady “I was, but my Unit Chief wanted me gone as fast as possible,” you said, taking a small sip of water. Doc nodded his head, sitting back down in his little rolly stool “ Well seeing as I have you here might as well run the usual Bio-test and get you sorted before they put you in the field”, Doc said, as he rolled away to his desk picking up a clipboard before moving back.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There were three sharp knocks on the door to the med-bay door, your head snapping up from the sound.
“Ahh, finally, the sergeant,” Doc said, getting up and unlocking the door, revealing a 6’2 “alpha male. You eyed him, taking him in, from his mohawk to his shaved sides, to the sharp angles of his face, all the way down to the dirt that covered his hairy forearms.
Doc welcomed him, “Welcome, Johnny, how was Captain John?”
The ‘Johnny’ groaned, “God, don’t. He’s been pissy all morning, him and L.T.,” ‘Johnny’ said, his accent decidedly Scottish, you thought. Doc laughed, “Oh, I know I put him in it, and so did they,” he said, his head pointing to you, who still sat on the med-bay bed. Johnny turned his head to you.
“And you are?” Johnny asked, his gaze bouncing between you and Doc. I’m the Bioengineer Specialist,” you said. Johnny nodded, pretending he knew what you had said, and then he paused. “Wait, the Specialist?” Johnny asked. You again nodded. You weren’t supposed to be here till Friday,” Johnny said. You sighed. My Unit Chief wanted me gone. “
Johnny lifted his brow as if he didn’t believe you, but he chose not to push any further. He turned his head to Doc. “Doc, are they all good to go?” Johnny asked. Doc nodded his head. Yeah, just make sure that they come back for their Vaccinations.” Johnny nodded before turning his head back to you. “Right then, come along, Specialist,” he said, nodding his head to the door of Medbay.
You climb off the bed, walking with a small limp over to Johnny. Johnny’s eyes narrow at your small limp, but he does not ask about it. He just lets his gaze sweep over you, checking for any other injuries, before walking out of Med-Bay.
You waved bye to Doc before racing after Johnny and his long legs. “Johnny, Slow down!” you shouted as you tried to run, the limp forcing you into a weird sort of Jog. You stopped when you practically crashed into Johnny.
“Call me Sergeant, at least for now,” he said. Before continuing down the hall, you followed him through the base until he brought you to a barracks.
“I know Omegas prefer to have company of some sort, but you’re our first Omega on base since the base was first established,” Johnny said as he swung the door open, revealing an aisle with beds on either side.
Johnny walked down the aisle to the bottom, showing you two doors. He opened one, showing you a cupboard filled with extra pillows and blankets, ranging from soft to rough textures, the pillows being plush or ridged.
“We weren’t sure what you would need, so we made sure that you got everything. If anything that you need isn’t there, just let me know, and I’ll get it,” Johnny said before closing the cupboard door, turning, and opening a private communal shower and bathrooms.
“We also couldn’t risk you being around to many alphas without somewhere safe to retreat to, I also know that some omegas are super sensitive to Alphas and their pheromones, so there should be body wash, shampoo and conditioner somewhere”, Johnny said, you nod thinking that the team you’ve joined have been super considerate so far, thinking if you were hypersensitive to Alpha Peramoanes.
“I-I have a question” you say your voice coming out a little rough sounding from all the growling you had been doing, Johnny nods to you, signalling for you to ask you a question.
“I was supposed to have a guide in some Ghost mask. What happened to him?” you ask. Johnny tilts his head side to side as if thinking about how to answer.
“He is busy dealing with our Captain and the Alpha you had a small brawl with earlier. Good job, by the way; he looks rough,” Johnny says before closing the bathroom door and walking up to the barracks door.
“The rest of your things should arrive soon, so I’ll leave you to settle in,” was all Johnny said before closing the door and closing you in your new home.
Chapter Text
You walk around the barracks, nosing around the beds. You decide to choose a bed. You sit down on one of the beds, lying back, but you shift restlessly, finding the small cot rather uncomfortable. You sit up, eyeing the other beds, before getting up and pushing a bed from the left and the right together, creating a larger makeshift bed.
You lay back down on the now larger bed, hating the feeling of the metal bars digging into your back. You sit back up, walk over to the supply cupboard, pull out a blanket and more pillows, walk back over to the makeshift bed, and fix the bed, making it slightly more comfortable.
‘Why did I transfer out of the country? I could be at home in my goddamn comfortable bed and not this shithole.’ As you lay back down on the bed, you lift your arm, eyeing the Pheromone patch on your arm; you sniff at the glue. It had been itchy for the last few days, but that is what it was always like when it had been checked; this was a different kind of scratchy, deep in the skin, hitting your instinct to use your teeth.
You were about to use your teeth to scratch the itch when a knock came at the barracks door. You got up and walked over to the door. You pulled open the door to find two Alphas at the door, both of them strapped with your bags. One smiled at you, giving you a small wave.
“Hey, Newbie, I’m Gaz and this is Alejandro”
Alejandro waves at you with a brief smile; Gaz speaks again.
“Sargent said to bring you your stuff, and it’s all kind of heavy,” he says, motioning to the bags on their shoulders. You panic a little before stepping out of the way and letting them in.
“Sorry I should have said something about it,” You say as you move out the door, letting them in. Gaz quickly steps into the door; he looks around the space, you assume, sniffing the room; you eye him, your instincts not liking that an odd and new male is in your space.
You rolled your shoulders, trying to dislodge that feeling; when the feeling didn’t go, you cracked your neck trying to get rid of the feeling, but when Alejandro stepped into the room, your instincts kicked in again, really not liking it; you jump a little hearing a deep growl vibrate around the room, your eyes snapping to the two Alphas but their eyes were on you, their eyebrows raised.
“Sorry, we don’t mean to upset you. Sargent did say that you were territorial,” Alejandro said as he placed half of your bags into one of the cots. You nodded your head. You weren’t usually like this. You were just unsettled and surrounded by nothing but alphas and betas, with no security of other omegas to retreat to.
“Yeah, Sorry. I’m just not used to males in my space,” you say. Gaze nods his head, placing half of the bags down.
“Yeah, he did mention it, but I thought he was only kidding. I should know better since my Brother is an Omega,” Gaz says, sighing. He tilts his head at the makeshift bed behind you. He smiles, elbowing Alejandro and nodding to the bed.
“I take it you’re not used to being so far from home?” Gaz asks. You turn your head to bed and return to the Alphas, now suddenly embarrassed.
“No, not really. I’m used to being in a five-star hotel and having nice meals,” you say. Gaze and Alejandro's jaws drop a little.
“Damn, we’re in the wrong job,” Alejandro says, his face shifting to a look of confusion.
“Wait what did you do before us?” He asks you are about to answer when their walkie-talkies go off.
~ Crackle~
“Gaz, Alejandro briefing, alert new member”, came from their walkie-talkies; the voice made your ears hurt, forcing you to cover them, hating how it felt like the voice radiated around the room.
Gaz looked between you and Alejandro.
“Well, you heard. It's time to move on; we’ll show you the briefing room.”
Chapter Text
You walked into the briefing room, your eyes flicking around, trying to find someone who didn’t make you feel so uncomfortable. As you flicked your eyes around the room, they landed on a particular Captain, one you growled and snapped at.
Your eyes widened before you forced them to move on, finding Johnny, or Sargent, as he asked you to call him. Your eyes moved up and down him, assessing him. He was sitting beside the Captain. Sargent smiled and nodded to you before he turned his head to the Captain. You gulped before your gaze moved to a tall male who leaned on a chair, a skull mask covering his face. You flicked your eyes over him.
He had his sleeves rolled up, showing off tattoos, one that had pretty thin lines that created an intricate symbol or crest on his arm; you tilted his head, trying to figure out if it was the mark of his blood pack or his moon pack, the lines on your thigh burned in that familiar way almost as if calling out to those same markings on the Skull Alphas arms, your blood markings, making you feel the same kind of itching you felt coming from your pheromone patch.
“Newbie, do you mind moving? Or are Alejandro and I going to strain our ears for the briefing?” Gaz asked. You jumped a little at the sound of his voice.
“Shit, sorry”, You mumble, moving out the way of the door; Alejandro chuckled lightly as he waved you over to sit beside him and Gaz; they sat down on one side of the large long oak table.
You last flick your eyes around the room before sitting beside Gaz and Alejandro. You settle a little, your hands tucked under your knees, needing to put your hands somewhere they aren’t visible and where they could shake in peace. You hated for Alphas to see Omegas as weak. You remember what it was like before the laws were put in place, the world before Omegas became their person.
There was nothing but silence and stares, all pointed at you as you sat looking around the room.
A cough broke the silence, and staring, all eyes, including yours, shifted the source of the noise.
“Alright, This is technically a briefing, more of an introduction of our newest member,” The Captain said.
“I’m Captain John Price,” He says, pointing to himself. “I’m the one you snapped, growled and swatted at by the way, and I lead the 141 task force” You nod as your face flushes with embarrassment, not liking that you had made a fool out of yourself already by getting into a fight and then swatting at your Commanding officer.
John turned to the Skull mask on Johnny's far side. “That over there is Ghost or Riley as we call him, he’s my Lieutenant, he doesn’t talk much, He was supposed to be the one showing you around, but you know a few things happened before he could”, you pursed your lips together not liking being called out for getting into a fight that wasn’t even your fault, but you persevered, your eyes moving to Ghost who gave you a knowing look and a nod, you could have sworn you saw his eyes light up with a smile but who are you to assume that about someone who doesn’t talk much.
John turned to Johnny, who stood up. “You know me already, but I’m Johnny, also known as Sargent,” he said as he pointed to himself. Don’t mind them; they are just grumpy from having to fill out paperwork already. Mind you put that little Alpha through the wringer earlier?” He said, sounding impressed before he looked to Gaz.
“Hey, you already know me and Alejandro, but what is it about this fight? It’s all the guys can talk about that an Omega sent an Alpha to the ICU,” Gaz said. You turned your head, now feeling bashful and unsure how to feel being put on the spot.
Captain stands quickly. “Alright, if you don’t mind, I’ll introduce you real quick, and then you can get into specifics about yourself and the fight,” he says. You nod, glad you don’t have to introduce yourself to the large group of Alphas.
“This is Venom, yes it is a code name as I have been explicitly told not to give away their real name, they are from the MI5 base in Aberdeen, and they worked in the Bioengineering team, they orgainally came to the NBOC” Captain says, his eyes bouncing from each of his friends, he pauses before he asks “Any questions?” One hand raises, and you turn your head to find Gaz doing it.
Captain nods his head, “Hit me with it”.
“NBOC?” Gaz asks, his head tilted like a Border Collie would, his eyes filled with intelligence as he was probably trying to figure out what the acronym meant. The answer didn’t come from Captain; it came from Ghost.
“Naval Black Out Core, Think Secret Service, MI5, MI6, Seals, NBOC are the shadow operation, they destroy threats before we know about them, they take out modern-day Hitlers without anyone knowing, kind of think of them as Agents from the Movies Kingsman, fast, deadly and silent,” He says, hardly looking up from the centre of the table.
Chapter Text
You look up at your new Lieutenant, eyeing him slightly, ’How does he know what NBOC is?’ you wonder, now clocking him as a potential threat.
“Yeah? That’s me. I’m only on loan to the task force for this new threat,” you say, your hand going to the patch on your wrist, picking at the skin a little.
Gaz turned his head to you, a confused look on his face “But you’re an Omega? Isn’t there not still a law banning Omegas on ships?” He asked you to tilt your head side to side, trying to think of a way to answer.
“Yes and no. Yes, there is still a law banning us from the ships, but under special circumstances, we are given a pass, and that includes my speciality.” You say. It sounds like the most straightforward answer you could give.
Without going too far into the law of the land and the law of the nation, Gaz nods his head almost as if he is trying to dissect the answer in his head. “What IS your speciality? I was never told,” Johnny asks. Your eyes shift to him, clashing. You flick your eyes to Captain Price, unsure how much you were allowed to disclose. He only gives you a shrug.
You took that as meaning you could disclose as much as you wanted. You sigh before answering, “As Captain Price said, I’m from the Bioengineering Unit, but my speciality was Serums and Biological weapons.” You say this without divulging any other information, thinking it best to leave them in the dark a little.
Johnny nods. “So what? You created mustard gas,” he asks, tilting his head. It's a little bit more deadly, but yeah,” you say, biting your lip. Not wanting to be isolated by the team already, not many Alphas liked being outmatched by something that many deemed weaker.
Your blood had isolated you pack your whole life; you didn’t need that with people you were supposed to trust with your life.
Almost as if sensing the panic and fear, Alejandro spoke, “So about the fight? What did you do? I saw the guy. He looked like he was beaten by a pack and not one little Omega,” he said, trying to sound funny. You gave him a half smile, thankful for him breaking the tension you felt.
“What? I can’t believe that an Omega could take an Alpha,” you say, trying to sound funny, unsure if you were getting the point across. Correctly, a laugh came from beside Alejandro.
“You’ve never gotten into a fight with an Omega, have you, Alejandro?” Gaz said laughing, “Man, the stories I could tell you about my brother getting into fights with the Alphas in my blood pack are long and violent.”
You look over, smiling at Gaz, glad that at least one team member knew what an Omega was like when they got into a fight.
“Oh yeah? Like what they got little claws?” Johnny joked, which set off your instincts to want blood for the disrespect, and you rolled your shoulders, trying to shake off the feeling.
“You saw what they did to that Alpha. The state he was in—imagine the state he would be in if that was a street fight…”Gaz paused, turning to you. “Do you have a patch?” You nodded, choosing to speak.
Gaz shook his head, smiling. “Imagine the state he would be in if they weren’t medicated” Johnny eyed you before he turned to Captain Price, eyebrows raised.
“Alright get out, I have meetings to go to and people to piss off Captain Price said, you were the last one to stand, you had hardly made it to the door before Captain Price’s voice came across to you.
“Are you going to tell me why MI5 was so desperate to get rid of you?” he asked. You turned your head to see him with his arms crossed and his legs shoulder-width apart, and you shrugged. I guess you will just have to find out,” you said, looking at him. He lifted a brow at you.
“I take it, I am about to piss off the head of the NBOC,” He said, sighing, sounding truly exhausted; he rubbed his eyes before he scrubbed his hand down his face.
“Why do I always get the ones that require me to piss people off,” Captain Price said, leaning his hip against the wooden table; he sighed again, waving you off.
“Alright, Alright, let me work my magic, " he said, taking a seat at the head of the table. You walked out the door, closing it shut behind you.
Chapter Text
You walk into the hall, noting that everyone has vanished. ‘Guess they don’t get much free time,’ you think as you head in a random direction. You have somehow managed to make it to the canteen, and you take a seat at an empty table, unsure if anyone would welcome you openly.
As you got comfortable, your eyes lazily went over the crowd, and your eyes met the Alpha you had gotten into a fight with. You sighed as you forced your eyes to move, not wanting him to take you as a threat, nor did you want him to believe that you wanted to go round two on kicking his ass.
“You know, for someone who came from NBOC, you sure have shit instincts,” a voice says, making you jump, your head snapping to the end of the table where Simon sat; you roll your shoulders, trying to shift the tension in your shoulders.
“Not shit, just there are bigger threats than you,” you say, as your eyes flick to that pissy Alpha, you freeze when his eyes meet yours, and you shift them away, turning your head to Simon.
“That’s fair. You know that the Alpha you beat down is walking over,” he says as he casually pulls out his phone. You give him a panicked look before you forcibly relax your shoulders and turn to him, smiling at him.
“You are hiding behind your Commanding Officers, little breeder,” the Alpha says; the fake smile on your face drops as you disengage from the Alpha, refusing to acknowledge the slur.
“Can the little breeder not take confrontation?” he says, your shoulders tense a little as you rub a spot on the table; you were used to this; you were used to Alpha’s seeing you as shit they scrapped off their shoe.
The Alpha laughed, turning his head to the table he had come from, “Guys, come look at the little Beta-wanna-be”, he said, goading you.
You crack your neck, refusing to let him win, you refuse to let get a rise out of you, you did not want to add to your disciplinarian.
You shivered when you heard a low growl come from behind you: “Really? Jenson, you’ve already been to Med-Bay once. Do you want to make it Twice?” A voice you recognised as Gaz came from the end of the table. You looked up at him, smiling at him.
“Oh, come on Gaz, they’re an Omega, their breeding holes nothing more” The Alpha you can now identify as Jenson, a shadow grow over Jenson, “Watch how you talk to our new member, you’ve been warned once, by them and twice by Gaz, do you want to make it a third” Simon said, Jenson glared at you his eyes practically laser-like, as he shakes his head “No sir”, you turn your head pretending to rub your nose, hiding your smile.
Jenson growled as he walked away, humiliated for a second time today.
“Man, we cannot leave you alone,” Gaz said as he sat down beside you with a tray of food. In front of him, he offered you a fruit stick.
“You want one? I know Omegas have cravings for things all the time,” you nod as you take the fruit stick offered.
“Yeah, I tend to crave Ice-lollies more than anything, specifically Fabs”, Gaz nods.
“I’ll let provisions know,” Simon said, as he walked away from the table, “Is just me, or is he suspicious,” you say as you take a bite out the fruit stick; Gaz snorted beside you, trying not to choke on the fruit, “Shit don’t say that around Johnny.”
Chapter Text
“Oh yeah?” you say, lifting a brow at Gaz, and he nods. “Yeah Johnny is protective of Simon,” He says as he takes a bite of a steak. You grimace at the steak; you hear it moo as he bites into it.
You bite into your fruit stick, happily enjoying the strawberry taste. Johnny slumps down beside you, his tray clattering on the table, and you scrunch your face mentally, making your ears hurt.
“What are you two talking about?” Johnny asked as he picked up his sandwich from the smell of it, it was likely pork, your stomach grumbled, at the thought of some proper food and not shitty, nutrient packs.
Gaz speaks before you can. “Nothing. They were just asking about the training schedule.” Johnny nods his head as he bites into his sandwich. “Yeah? Well, this week's Schedule has been made, but I’ll see if I can work you into it,” he says.
Alejandro dropped down beside Gaz, groaning. “Man, I hate paperwork,” he said as he picked up his steak, which was similar to Gaz’s, practically still mooing. Gaz laughed. “Yeah? That’s what you get for betting against me at poker, let alone losing to me at strip poker.” Your head snapped up. Strip poker?
Johnny laughed when your head snapped up; he waved his hand around, some of the salad dropping out of his sandwich. “Oh yeah,, Ven, we do anything to keep ourselves entertained out here..” You raise your brows before lowering them.. Johnny takes a big bite of his sandwich, and, and Gaz nods.d “Now, why are you called Venom?” Gaz asked, Johnny groaned in agreement his mouth full of his food.
You take a slow bite of your fruit stick, thinking about how to answer.
“Why do you want to know?” you ask as you use the stick's sharp end to pick a non-existent bit of fruit in your teeth.
Gaz shrugged his shoulders as he passed you another fruit stick. You took it and took a bite out of the grape. “Because I bet there is a story behind it,” he said. You nodded your head, confirming that there was a story behind it, but you weren’t going to tell them.
“There is, but it’s classified, Captain John doesn’t know the full story,” You say, as you put the now empty stick and twirl it between your fingers. Alejandro laughed into his steak; there was another thud to the side of you.
You flicked your eyes, revealing Simon sitting down with his tray stacked higher than what you thought was normal for an alpha, but what would you know? Simon pulled out a spare plate, staking it high and placing it before you.
You stare at the plate, and a hand appears in the corner of your eye, dropping a few fruit sticks onto your plate and disappearing.
“I don’t know what you like, so there’s a bit of everything,” Simon says as he digs into his food; your brows furrow as you look up at him; alphas don’t generally look after omegas or at least not the ones you know.
You push the plate away. “I’m okay, thanks, though,” you say. Simon pauses mid-bite, giving you a side glance before taking his bite, but you feel the energy of the table shift from playful and fun to serious and almost worried. Johnny pushes the plate back to you.
“Just take a bite. You know how alphas are when an omega is in their care,” he says. You nod your head like you know what he is talking about, but your blood pack never looked after their omegas. You push around the plate, pushing the near-raw steak around the plate, not wanting it.
“Here, I’ll trade you my pork for the steak,” Alejandro said, snatching the steak off your plate and replacing it with his pork sandwich. You flashed him a smile, grateful that he took it.
You picked it up as you spoke: “Lieutenant, who is the head of Provisionals?” Simon looked at you confused as he chewed.
“Why?” came his rough reply as he picked up his cup and took a sip. Well, I work for the Bio unit, right?” you say, looking around for a drink, your throat feeling like a dessert. Simon nods his head.
“W-Well I want to introduce a system for it, nothing major, simple colours,” You say, as you take another bite of your sandwich; a glass of water comes into view Gaz’s hand, making sure it doesn’t topple.
Chapter Text
You pick up the glass, shooting a thankful glance at Gaz. “Colours?” Simon asks. You nod your head as you take a sip of water.
“Yeah, it was something I had put in place on my ship in case any supplies were intercepted,” you say as you pick up the sandwich and bite.
“Give me an example,” Johnny demanded. You glanced at him, thinking of an example, as you chewed.
“Ok, so if purple is the colour for an emergency refill on bandages, I would send that out on the next shipment, and that would get here faster.” You say, as you thought, it truly was a lot simpler than that.
“So what? You put a colour in a shipment, and they know what to send back?” Johnny asked. You nodded, “Yeah, the colours on my ship were everywhere, literally; my Captain made sur..””
There was a hum beside you as Simon picked up his glass of water. “I’ll take you to Provisionals and see if I can get you a meeting,” he said, eyeing your plate and how little you had eaten.
“You need to eat a lot more than that if you want to keep up with us in the field or training,” he says as he stacks another large portion onto your plate.
You shrug as you nibble, not wanting to delve into why you don’t eat as you should, “Omegas don’t get that hungry”, you say; Simon’s eyes flick to Gaz, who makes a grunting sound as he rests his head, on his hands.
Simon nods slowly, and a heavy hand drops onto your shoulder, practically forcing you to jump out of your skin. A little squeak forced out as your ass reconnected with the seat, looking up to find Captain John.
“Right, ‘Mon time to drop you off, Jenson’s Captain is upset”, John says, reaching onto Simon’s plate and stealing a piece of meat.
“Our little Omega, already making waves?” Alejandro asks, laughing. Gaz laughs with him, and he whips his face before he asks, “Bigger than Johnny or?” John tilts his head side to side as he speaks. “You try and say no to a group of the biggest and strongest Alphas, who look like they bite,” he says as he shakes his shoulders, uncomfortable with being challenged.
Simon laughed, “Why did you ask for me and Johnny to come with you?” John pulled you out of your seat. “Can we discuss this on the move? I’m slightly worried that Jenson’s Team might try something.” The boys groaned as they stood up, and Johnny stuffed as much food as he could into his mouth.
When the six of you arrive at your barracks, John swings open the door and walks inside. His gaze shifts to the makeshift bed you had made earlier. He sighed as he ran his hand over the ledge of the bed.
You growled at him, a look of rage on your face. Gaz snatched John’s hand back. “Cap, Don’t touch their nest.” John looked between you and the bed. “It’s not a nest? There's no walls, no scented items,” he said, looking confused.
“For someone who looks a hundred, you sure don’t know a lot about Omegas,” You say, growling, as you push him away from your bed, “For someone who’s supposed to submit, you really rebellious” You huff at John, Gaz takes a seat on the bed across from your bed, you mimic his movement, Alejandro closes the door, you give him a warning growl, not liking being trapped in with alphas.
“Is there any need to growl and us?” Simon asked as he sat beside Gaz. “I don’t like your smell,” you said as you pushed back further onto the bed, sitting at the head of the bed.
“Johnny, open the window to elevate the scent,” Gaz says as he settles on the bed. Alejandro takes a seat on the bed.
“So, Gaz, you got a little brother?” Alejandro asks. Gaz nods his head. “Yeah, he’s nuts. He’s the one who taught me the laws and regulations around Omegas.” You scratch at your patch, the glue making your skin itchy.
Gaz turns to you with a questioning look. “You said you were patched?” You nod your head, “Why do you want to know?” Gaz shrugged. “My brother said that not all patches are safe for Omegas and can cause adverse effects”.
“Shit…How adverse are the effects?” Johnny asked, his eyes dropping to your wrist, his eye analysing the red area; you block his view with your hand.
“If you were lucky, it would kill you,” you said, climbing out of bed and walking towards the cupboard. Pulling out more blankets and pillows, you brought them back to the bed and rearranged them.
There was silence before Johnny asked, “…And if you were unlucky…” You looked at him, his face full of apprehension, waiting for the answer.
You turn your head back to your pillow, smoothing it out with your hands, feeling uncomfortable about ding patches.
“The Basements,” you say, blowing out a breath, hating that those words left your mouth. You hear Gaz inhale sharply, and you glance at him, his eyes shut in empathy or sympathy. You weren’t sure, but what you did know was that he understood.
Chapter Text
“The Basements?” Johnny asked, his eyes flicking between you and Gaz before they flicked to John and Simon. Gaz opened his eyes and shook his head. " It's best not to talk about them, Johnny,” Gaz said.
Johnny looked between you and Gaz, confused. " Why does it sound like a club or something?” Johnny said. Simon sighed as he spoke. “Johnny…It’s not...It’s not—” You cut him off.
“Before the ORAPA law existed or before OHEADA came into effect when an Omega became of age, the Government would test different types of medication on Omegas,” You say, taking a deep breath before you continue, “it often resulting in deforming the Omega or making them barren, during the testing they were, forced into aiding an Alpha’s rut.”
Johnny looked at you confused; his brows knitted together. “How did that create The Basements?” he asked; you figured he was never taught; it wasn’t like Scotland was never cruel to their Omegas but never cruel to the extent of England.
“It meant that there was no chance of a pregnancy. The Omega would still go into heat, but no pregnancy, so no responsibility and no baby to test on. So I guess there was some good that came out of it,” you say, feeling something wet coming from your hand. You look down at your patch and see that you have scratched at the glue and are bleeding—your nose crinkles at the scent.
“Shit, Gaz, go get me plaster,” Simon said as he grabbed your arm, pressing his hand to the scratches. Gaz returned with a plaster, handing it off to Simon; Simon fixes you with the plaster, “There’s a reason we don’t talk about The Basements,” Simon says.
Johnny rubbed his face. “I thought it was some underground club or something, not some sick plan.” He said, “Johnny, you’re too young to remember what life was like before the laws. I remember what it was like,” John said, patting Johnny on the shoulder.
“Yeah, I was a little too young, but I remember bits and pieces,” Simon says. Alejandro nods his head in agreement. I only know because my grandparents told me about it. The good old ‘A fair alpha is a good Alpha’, Gaz says as he walks back to his place next to Alejandro.
“So what I’m hearing is that The Government is evil and all Alphas are bad?” Johnny says he is trying to make sense, and you laugh at him. “Historically, yeah,” John makes a face of understanding. “Ok, I get the fear now.”
When Simon was finished with your arm, he pulled away, leaning his hip on the metal footboard. “So Ven, how did the NBOC allow you to Join MI5, let alone allow MI5 to loan you out to us?” Simon said, changing the subject.
Your shoulders tense, and you roll them to ease the tension. “Why? It’s nothing of major importance,” you say, fidgeting with the plaster on your arm. Venom, you gotta tell us something. Tell us something. We must trust you with our lives out here,” Gaz says.
You sigh, rubbing your face, not wanting to discuss why you were placed with MI5 and passed to the 141. Your head snaps in the direction of a growl, and your eyes meet John.
“Fuckin hell, You were given an order”, He growled; you rolled your eyes, growling back. “And we just talked about how Omegas were treated, so forgive me for not being forthcoming; you growled back; you didn’t like Joh; he was one of those Alphas who were used to Omegasobeyingy him.
Alejandro stepped in between you and John, “Alright, Captain, They asked why, and we responded,” He said, turning his head to you; you huffed as you climbed back onto your b; you crossed your arms over your chest, your eyes resting on the plaster, as you sucked your teeth.
How could you tell them without getting abandoned or getting your ass chewed out by the NBOC? You make a clicking sound from your mouth when you come to a decision.
“Oe, I was sent to the MI5 as punishment.”
Then, there was a knock at the door, followed by a loud and annoyed collective groan. “I swear by the moon that you will tell us your little secret,” Johnny said as he walked to the door and opened it a crack.
You smiled, glad for the interruption, not wishing to be isolated so soon. You were not sure if you could take another pack, icing you out. You had hardly had any time to enjoy having a pack before you were iced out.
Your nose twitched at the smell of another alpha, the hair on your skin rising and your skin prickling, when you heaAlpha’soffending Alpha’s voice. “I want your superior officer,” the voice said; Alphae, intruding alpha pushed the door, forcing his energy into your space without ever stepping foot inside; it both pissed you off and frightened you.
John tensed as he turned his head Alphae offendingAlphaa, “Why? They haven’t done anything, it was your man who stepped out of line, Captain Wells”, he said, as he slowly crept his way in front of you, shieldAlpha’s from theAlpha’ss view.
“The little breeder hurt one of my men,” Captain Wells gritted out. You cringed when he called you a breeder, the word sounding like venom to your ears.
“They only defended themselves; they have every right to do so since the OFARC was introduced in 2006,” John said, casually crossing his arms and trying to make himself appear more prominent.
Captain Wells growled, “Not on Military ground; we have rules, stat—” he was cut off by Gaz. “ORO, subsection D paragraph 2 Line three ORO allows Omegas to assert their autonomy against unwanted Alpha interactions, ensuring their safety and dignity. And encourages them to defend themselves from aggression or coercion,” he said, noAlphaking at the alpha only at you, his eyes scanning over your body.
You liked Gaz. He was a sweet, kind alpha, and he knew to check in on you in situations like this to make sure you were okay. The growl from Captain Wells snapped you back to the danger you were in.
“We have rules for a reason, so mutts like that don’t get in between us,” Captain Wells spits as he takes a step into the room. The resounding growl he received was deafening as you pulled away from the sound that seemed to be coming from the very walls you leaned against.
John raised his hand into the air before closing it into a tight fist. You could hear him grit his teeth in anger as he spoke. “This is an Omega sanctuary. Why are you trying to get inside?” he said, half growling. You peeked over his burly body to look at Captain Wells, his left hand being the only one inside your little barrack, your little den.
“Omega’s don’t aren’t rewarded with sanctuary, especially little shits like them who think it’s ok to hurt those purer than them,” he said as he lunged for you.
You were faster, lunging for him as you used your pitiful body weight against his far larger and far stronger one. It wasn’t the best fight, with you pinned under him, doing your damndest to reign in several punches, your NBOC training kicking in, as you blocked the majority of his punches.
You hear arguing and growls while you give as good as you get. It wasn’t long before you heard more arguing and growls, and the sound of flesh hitting flesh, a sound you didn’t want to hear again, not at least for some time, came crashing into your ears.
You managed to find your way on top of Captain Wells, allowing you to see two other Alphas in your space. One had Alejandro pinned to a wall while Simon was trying to pull him off, and John was pinned to the waAlpha’sintrudingAlpha’ss back to his chest while Johnny and Gaz took turns punching him; you gasped as Captain Wells grasped your throat in his tight grip; squee; squeezing panic from the sudden loss of air, your hands reaching up and clawing at his hand instead, trying to pry his fingers off your throat. You try to produce a growl, a whine, something, anything, that would get your teammate's attention, but Captain Wells was squeezing too hard.
He brought you close to his face, “Now lookie here if the big tough omega, isn’t reduced to snivelling, snotting bitch”, he spat; in your haze of panic, you clawed his face; he yelled as he let go, allowing you the chance to scramble backwards, your hand grasped your throat, it now marked from his grip.
You slide away from him, finding a spot under one of the beds sliding under it, you hear a growl and then a body hitting a wall before it slides down, you watch their legs and boots, and you yelp when a hand grabs your hair dragging you from under the bed.
You twist in their grasp, your hands trying to find purchase on something, hell you’d take a pillow if it meant putting distance between you and your attacker, Captain Wells growled as he pulled you up to his face level.
“Pathetic, really the MI5 sent you here” " he growled as he punched you, your head not giving much room to reel back from his hit.
It wasn’t long before he dragged you further along the floor as you scrambled to scratch him. He laughed as he moved towards the door. “Drop them, James,” John growled as he threw the younger to the floor.
“Why? They’re pathetic, weak even,” he said, shaking you as you clawed at his hand. Drop them, James. I won’t ask again,” John said, standing between you and the door.
Captain Wells, growls and grits his teeth as he shakes you again for a final time before he throws to John’s feet, “I don’t get why we breed with such mutts” he says as he gives you a final kick to the stomach. As he steps over you, laughing at the grunt you made, John grabs Captain Wells, hauling him over you ultimately, bringing him close to his face, “Listen here James, they didn’t do shit wrong, they defended themselves from shitbags like you” he grunted as he threw Captain Wells out.
Followed by Captain Wells's two henchmen, the curtsey of Simon and Gaz, John huffed as he turned to you, eyeing where you lay on the floor.
He rubbed his hands down his face, and as he sighed, he pinched the bridge of his nose. Then he walked over, kneeling beside you.
“Come on, let's get you up,” he says as he holds out his hands. You hesitantly take his hands as he pulls you up, brings you over to the bed, and sits you down.
Gaz walks over and lifts your jaw letting him get a good look at your face, he tilts your head side to side, up and down, and he hums as he counts the cuts on your face and the bruises.
“Johnny—” Gaz says but is cut off by the med kit being waved in his face. Gaz sighs as he takes it, opening and tending to your wounds. After you, it’s me who has the most medical knowledge,” he says as you growl at him, wiping a scratch on your face.
“Who says I have any medical know-how?” you say, scrunching your nose and tilting your head away from the wipe. Simon laughs from behind you. “You’re from a Bio-Unit, an NBOC Bio-Unit; you have medical Knowledge,” he says.
The boys fuss over you while Gaz cleans your cuts and scrapes, Johnny gently applies creams and plasters, and Simon and Alejandro eye your exposed skin for any bruising. If they do find any bruising, they gently rub lotion onto it.
This was probably the first time you had Alpha’s need to soothe your pains. You had seen it in shows as a kid and read about it in books, but you never experienced it. It was such an odd experience to see and feel such fierce protection.
John growled as he paced, your eyes flicking to him, still not feeling safe with him. “They are going to have to move in with us,” he said; your head snapped up this time, your body becoming tense.
“Why?” you growled out to him. You knew that you weren’t safe. You had heard of the Alpha pack's love bombing and then kidnapping Omegas and turning them into breeders, but for a moment, you thought, not these Alphas, but you must have been wrong.
“Why? They’re fine here are they not?” Alejandro asked when he noticed how tense you had become at John, “Captain Wells and his team will try again and next time it won’t be him and two of his boys”, he said, his eye shifting to the window, looking outside.
You huffed out of your nose; it scrunched tight. “You think they would try and attack me here?” you ask as you watch Johnny gently stick the last plaster onto your arm, giving it a gentle rub.
Simon spoke. “I wouldn’t put it past him,” he said, sounding annoyed. You pouted as you looked around the room. So much had happened in such a few hours, and you wanted nothing but to sleep.
You huff angrily, as you run your hand over the soft fabric of the bed “I was just getting comfortable here” you mumble, wishing for nothing more than to sink under the sheets.
Johnny crouches down beside your legs, coming into your view, “Don’t worry, we’ll make sure you’re comfortable at our barracks” he says trying to soothe you, You liked Johnny he was the sweetest one next to Gaz.
Johnny stood up, offering you his hand to pull you off the bed. You begrudgingly took it, standing in front of him. Johnny and Gaz helped you pack what little you had unpacked, strapping it to their shoulders.
You had never seen a pack of Alphas move as a group, as an omega you weren’t allowed or privileged enough to know, but you always assumed it made them look weird or like a pack of wanna-be-alphas.
But the way they were so casual with how they kept you in their circle without them becoming a wall of muscle was mesmerising, Johnny held up the back of the group making sure you didn’t fall behind or was left without a friendly face.
Simon and Gaz walked to your side. Simon walked two or three feet from you as you moved close enough to act if needed but far enough away that he didn’t look like he was a part of the group. Alejandro and John took up the head of the group.
John and Alejandro walked and talked like they were in a heated debate about something, something you assumed had something to do with you, but you weren’t going to listen in on their conversation despite being nosey.
Your eyes drifted across the base, meeting a few of the soldiers dotted around it. A few of them eyed you with lust and hunger in their eyes. You wondered how long many of them had gone without seeing an omega.
but those who had a head on their shoulders avoided all types of contact with 141. Some even turned their backs, showing some submission.
When the six of you arrived at their barracks, they swung open the door, revealing a neat barracks with beds set neatly in rows. You eyed each bed, trying to figure out who belonged to which bed, not wanting to offend any of them by accidently claiming one of their beds.
“ ’Mon Ven, Me and Alejandro will push some of the beds together”, Johnny's saintly shuffling led you up the walkway. Alejandro groaned as he walked behind Johnny, “Why me? You and Gaz have a better bond”. Johnny rolled his eyes as he guided you to a bed that had a little dog tag tied to it, you tilted your head at the tags, eyeing them, they weren’t the typical grey colour you were expecting but a bright orange colour with a deep blue on the other tag.
“Johnny’s so Scottish that Irn-Bru sent him custom tags,” Simon said as he sat on his bed. Supposedly, you nodded your head in understanding.
“Simon just because you can’t get Tango to send you custom tags, doesn’t mean you get to shit on me,” Johnny said, as he and Alejandro finished pushing some beds together as they placed your bags onto the bed.
Johnny sighed as he slumped into a chair next to Simon. “How are we still without a mission?” he grumbled, tilting his head back and staring at the ceiling, his arms crossing over his chest.
“Tell me about it,” Gaz says, slouching his arms onto his thighs, his shoulders slumping forward, a bottle of water hanging between them. “I can feel my Alpha become shifty,” he says as he watches you enter the room.
“Is this not normal?” you ask as you sit beside Gaz. “Hardly. We’re usually on a mission by now,” Simon says, his knuckles going white from grabbing the arm of the chair. John sighed as he leaned against the wall of the standard room.
“Hardly, Wells may not have sway over us as a team, but he does have sway with who gets what missions and when,” John grumbled, scratching his beard. Ven, "How’s your sleep since staying in our barracks?” Johnny asked. You froze a little. 'How had you slept? Better than normal, that’s for sure,’ you shrugged.
“Fine, how have your Alphas been with an Omega in the room?” you say, deflecting away from you. It was a fair question. They took turns staying awake over the last few nights, making sure Captain Wells or any of his boys tried anything.
Simon shrugged. “I haven’t had any problems” Gaz and Johnny nodded, agreeing with them, but Alejandro pursed his lips. “It’s not a problem per se, but more of a want to smother you in my scent,” he said, flicking Gaz’s shoulder and hand out for the water bottle.
Gaz grumbled as he passed the bottle to Alejandro. You nodded your head as you tilted your head up to the ceiling. “I’ll take that over being bred any day of the week,” you said. Alejandro nodded his head. “Yeah, I’ll take it over the need to rut,” he said, shivering a little.
“So is no one going to ask why Captain Wells knew they were from MI5, or are we just going to skate past it?” Simon said, cracking his neck. The room turned silent as their eyes flicked from you to Simon and then to John, rinse and repeat.
“That is a damn fine question,” Gaz said as he now turned his full attention to John, “Do you know?” he asked; John shrugged as he preached on the arm of the couch next to Johnny, “I don’t know, Like I said he decides who gets what missions and when so maybe he got a hold of their file before I did?” John offered.
You shook your head. “No one should have been able to see my file unless I was going to be under their command”, you say, your face scrunching as you tried to think; Alejandro tilted his head side to side. “Maybe you were originally supposed to go with his team?” he said, sipping the water bottle. You nodded your head in agreement. “Possibly, but I don’t get why that would stick out, you know," you said; you wanted to know whether he had your NBOC file and your MI5 file.
You could practically hear Johnny’s teeth grate together. “I don’t like the fact he knows so much about them,” he says, his shoulder tensing. Gaz’s eyebrows lifted briefly in agreement.
You let your eyes drift around the standard room, wondering of a way to get them to stop talking about you, when Johnny’s dog tag came into your head, the bright orange and blue vivid in your head, “Johnny, how did you get what every company it was to send you custom tags” you ask quickly hoping to distract them.
The boys collectively groaned as Johnny turned to you with a shit-eating grin, “Well, Ven, it all started in Basic Training”, he said…..
You regretted ever asking Johnny about his stupid tags. As you listened to him ramble on about how he got those custom tags, you blinked slowly, trying to keep yourself awake. You had brought this torture upon yourself, and you were going to see it through.
You could hear Simon softly snoring away on the couch, his head resting on his arms. At the same time, Gaz closed his eyes, lightly banging his head off the back of the sofa. At the same time, Alejandro lightly thumped his fist on his leg while trying to be anywhere else in his head and John, the Captain, YOUR Captain, well he was, stood behind Johnny, sending you a hate-filled look that said, ‘you JUST had to ask didn’t you.’
Chapter Text
You and the boys spent the better half of two weeks on base with no mission to complete, not that you minded; it meant that you could settle in without being gone from your heaven for too long.
Which was always preferable, but you could see the tension start to wear the team out; you knew that alphas need a few things in life to be able to function: 1) have an Omega, 2) have some form of pack relation, and 3) they needed to relieve their aggression.
Now, here you were, running around the training field as you dodged every swing, kick, and punch, jumped over stray limbs, and deflected blades.
You yelp when a strong hand pulls you down to the floor, the left side of your body taking the brunt of the fall; you start kicking wildly at the hand that drags you through the slough of bodies that fought over you.
You pause mid-kick. As a whistle blows, the hand lets go before the bodies over you pull apart, letting you roll onto your back comfortably.
“Damn Venom, any need to try and break m’a wrist” came the gruff voice. You saw Simon gently rubbing his wrist from your repeated stomping. “I’d rather take their stomps over your punches” That came from Gaz rubbing his jaw.
“Alright, Alright, you little fucks, shower and hit Medbay; I don’t need Doc giving me a lecture,” John said as he helped you up, you grunted as you twisted yourself side to side, trying to relieve some pressure off your back.
The boys collectively groaned. “Oh, come on, Cap. Do we HAVE to go see Doc?” Johnny said as he threw one arm over your shoulder, leaning onto you. John only lifted a brow before Johnny grunted and pulled you towards the showers.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You sigh as you walk out of the shower, gently rubbing your face against the water. As you stumble your way to the sink, ready to brush your hair, you wipe the mirror with your towel, rubbing away the steam from the shower when you pause…
Seeing a flash of black flitter behind you, your eyes scanning the mirror and the contents of the background, all that stood behind you were lockers and not big ones either, small lockers you would find in a gym big enough to hold your essentials and nothing more.
Look yourself in the eyes. “It’s nothing. Captain Wells wouldn’t be stupid enough to try you in the bathroom,” you mutter to yourself as you gently try and dry off the ends of your hair in the towel before you hear it…
There was soft, light, and gentle breathing like they were trying hard not to be seen, but it was there, and most definitely male. You continued to dry your hair, letting your eyes lazily scan the bathroom again, trying to identify where the breathing was coming from.
When you finished with your hair, you brushed and pulled it back, letting the towel around your shoulders, before walking over to the lockers and pulling out your clothes; you quickly pulled your underwear and trousers on before you heard it…
Something dropping down, you froze a little, keeping your back to the sound, letting whoever it was think that they had the drop on you; before you reached into your locker again, reaching for your gun, you felt something hard Press into the back of your head, cold and solid.
“Put your hands up, Knot-Tease,” the voice said. You slowly raised your hands, “A-Alright, there’s no need to get violent”, you say, trying to figure out who held you at gunpoint, “I am so sick and tired of your slick holes and your rights”, he growled, as he gripped your wrists and dragged you away from the lockers.
You kick and scream, only for it to be cut off by a sharp, painful hit to the head. “Oh shut up, I want my fine first before you lose”, he says as he pulls you to the showers. You reel back from the pain as you try and turn your head up to your attacker, your NBOC Captain’s words ringing in your ears. ‘If you can’t see your face, you will likely see the next sunrise’ You barely catch a glimpse, but you make it out to be Jenson.
You try and wriggle your way out of his grip, but the attempt is followed by a swift hit to the back of your head, your vision suddenly going dark.
You gasp back into reality when cold water hits your face, your vision is blurry, and your eyes seem to be sensitive to the light as you roll away from the attacker on the cold, hard tile, only to find Jenson smiling down at you.
“Now, aren’t you a sweet little thing? I wonder what your slick hole will feel like,” he says as he drops down into a crouching position in front of you, “Hmm…I always wonder if prissy fuckers like you are even pure,” He says as he reaches his hand out towards you, only to be rewarded by you snapping your teeth at his fingers. He growled as he snapped his hand back.
He was quick to hit the button on the shower, spraying you with the same cold water that shocked you awake “Listen here, you slicker, You're going to take me like the fucker you are, and maybe, just maybe, I won’t pass you around, to my friends” he says, as he gives you a sharp kick to your stomach.
He laughed as his hands went to your wet trousers, pulling at the buttons only for him to be ripped away and a growl so loud you thought it was going shake the tiles loose.
Chapter Text
You look up to find Simon and Johnny lifting Jenson into the air, “What the fuck does this little runt think he’s doing” Johnny growled as he pinned Jenson to the hard tiled wall, while Simon dropped to his knees, pulling you in close, as he gently pulled your hair from your face.
“It’s alright, we got ya,” he said, the omega in you bristling at the touch; he shushed you, rubbing his thumbs into your cheeks, allowing you to adjust to him and his scent. “Come on, Ven,” he said, lifting you up a little to allow him to rip off his T-shirt and stuff it into your hands.
“Take deep breaths, big breaths,” Simon said as he watched you inhale his scent deeply before gently picking you up. He froze a little when you growled at him. “Simon, give them a second,” Johnny said as he punched Jenson.
Johnny pauses for a second as he watches Jenson reel from the blow; Johnny tilts his head and smiles, his voice as sweet a pie, “Their omega is losing its mind, reeling from being abused to suddenly being pulled into safe arms”, he says, as Jenson tried to growl at him. Still, he was cut off by Johnny’s fist connecting with his jaw.
Simon hummed. The only thing that showed that he had heard Johnny was that Simon had waited until you had settled a little further and lifted you to his full height as he walked out of the shower block and past the lockers before pausing at the door.
He looked down at you and then at the door before walking to the lockers. Gently placing you down on a bench, he pulled the shirt you would wear out of the locker and handed it to you.
“You need to cover, Ven,” he says, quickly pulling the shirt over his head. You roll your shoulders as you try to stand, ready to toughen this out, but you quickly sit back down when a growl comes behind you. “Let him carry you, Ven,” Johnny barked.
Simon lifted his eyes to Johnny, eyeing him. “If they're ready to walk, let them,” Simon said. Coming to your defence, Johnny shook his head as he now dragged an unconscious Jenson out of the shower block.
“They are an Omega; they need protection”, Johnny bit back. You looked at him over your shoulder. One look and you knew that his Alpha had reached its breaking point.
Simon sighed as he helped you onto your feet, his grip a little tight, causing you to snap at him. Simon pulled back, and Johnny snapped at you, forcing you to growl.
“ALRIGHT! Johnny, drag that Runt to Captain, and I’ll take Ven to Doc,” Simon shouted as he gently guided you out of the room, hardly touching you, just using his arms to herd you out. Johnny grumbled about how you should be carried, about how you should be buried in their smell.
As Simon herded you to Med Bay, he snapped, growled, and threatened those who looked at your two without having to utter a single word. When you finally arrived at Med Bay, you found Gaz and Alejandro waiting for you.
“Ven, Hey,” Gaz said as he stood from his seat in the mini waiting room, giving Alejandro, who was daydreaming, a rough shake. You watched as Alejandro snapped out of it, bounced out of his seat, and approached you. “Hey you,” he said as he opened his hands to wrap you in a hug.
But he was quickly stopped by Gaz getting in between you and Simon, growling, “That’s not a good idea right now. They need to see Doc first, and then we can barricade them in our barracks,” Gaz said as he pushed Alejandro to the side, allowing Simon to shuffle you into Med-Bay to find Doc.
You could hear Alejandro argue with Gaz about this, about you, asking if it was safe to have something like you on base while Alpha's like Jenson and Wells ran around freely.
Chapter Text
Simon gently pushes you towards one of the beds, “Simon, don’t tell me you got into another fight”, came from Doc, who sat at the desk in the corner, his back turned.
“Not this time, Doc”, Simon said as he took a seat on the plastic thing that made him look twice the size he was. Looking at Simon, Doc glanced over his shoulder before his eyes lazily followed to the bed where you sat.
“I saw you a mere two weeks ago. Don’t tell me you got into it with someone,” Doc asked as he picked up a notepad and pen. Simon sighed and moved to sit on the edge of the small plastic chair.
“Remember I told you about Captain Wells and Jenson?” Simon said, watching you take a deep inhale of his shirt. Doc hummed as he walked over. “Vaguely,” he said, sitting on the same rollie stool you had been introduced to weeks ago.
Simon watched you jump when he growled, “He attacked them in the showers; he-” he snarled, which caused you to snarl back, the omega instinct reacting to him. Doc held his hands between you, Silencing Simon and soothing you simultaneously.
Doc turned his head to you. “Did he touch you?” he asked as he crossed his left leg over his right; you shook your head as you sniffed Simon’s shirt like it was a drug.
Doc nodded as he wrote on his notepad, “I assume you have gone and reported this,” Doc asked, his eyes flicking to Simon, who nodded. "Johnny is taking Jenson to Captian’s office right now.” He gritted out, still not liking that you were attacked under his watch.
Doc nodded as he pushed his way to his desk, picking up a report, a pen, and a clipboard before sliding back and handing it to Simon. “Write what happened,” he said, sighing. Doc turned to you. "Now you,” he tilted his head as he eyed you, marking down onto the chart, his eyes flicking between you and his charts.
Doc then sat the clipboard down to the side as he stretched his hand to you. “Let me see the damage,” he said, waiting patiently for you to give him your hand. You eyed him before hesitantly giving him your hand.
Doc hummed as he checked it over. “No scratches, no bites, and no cuts,” he said, bringing his other hand up to lightly touch your skin, pressing his eyes and scanning your face for a reaction. “No bruising currently,” he said, gently putting your hand down and picking his pen and clipboard back up, noting his observations.
“I take that is your Shirt?” Doc asked, his eyes turning to Simon, who nodded. Doc sighed, shaking your head. “I wish your Alphas would stop doing that,” he said as he moved closer to you, tilting his head again and eyeing the side of your head.
“Why?" came Simon’s rough reply. Doc rolled away before he answered, “They had just gone through something traumatic, sexual in nature, I imagine,” Doc said. Simon made a low grumbling sound, begrudgingly agreeing with him, “I still don’t get it, Doc,” Simon said, sliding the report sheet onto the bed beside you.
“Omegas tend to become attached to the first Alpha smell after a traumatic experience,” Doc said, picking up gloves and a small bag and sliding back. “You think I would hurt them?” Simon barked, lunging for Doc.
Doc just slid away. “Luitenant Riley, is there any need to jump to such violence?” he said, sounding bored. Simon stood from his chair, growling as he moved behind you. Your head whipped to find Simon. “Calm down; he’s just struggling with his Alpha,” Doc said, calling your attention to him.
He slid back to you, picking up the report sheet, his eyes scanning it before picking up his clipboard. You watched his eyes flick between the report sheet and his clipboard. “Lieutenant Riley says that he and Sargent MacTavish found you on the floor,” Doc said.
You nodded as you pulled your legs closer, your omega instincts whispering to you, asking to bathe in the significant mean alpha’s smell and bury yourself in his scent.
Doc sighed as he put the clipboard back down, rolled back to you, gave you a gentle smile, pulled a little torch from the pocket in his uniform, and clicked it on in your eyes. “Follow my finger,” he said as he lifted his hand and moved his finger from side to side.
“Good, it doesn’t seem like there is a concussion, but I would like for you and the rest of the 141 to remain grounded for a week or two,” Doc said as he clicked his little torch off before returning it to his pocket again. Simon growled, “We’ve been grounded for two weeks; we don’t need to be grounded for another two.” Doc only turned his head to Simon, lifting a brow.
“I frankly don’t care. You have an omega now, and the whole team needs to care for them,” Doc said. You huffed a little, your omega feeling like it could care for itself and not need to be cared for by a whole team of Alphas.
Chapter Text
Over the short time you had been in Med Bay, you watched each team member fill in. First, Johnny had to be seen by one of the nurses to stitch up his hand. Then came Gaz, carrying a mounting load of fuzzy blankets and a few of his shirts.
Then came Alejandro, who was carrying a tray of food. From what you could see, fruit sticks were taking over most of the tray. Then came John, who wore a look of anger—no scratch, a look of rage. He was amongst the first to approach you.
“Hey Ven, are you ready to return to our barracks?” he asked, despite his anger. He spoke in the gentlest voice he could muster, trying his best not to frighten or scare you further than you already felt.
You gave him a once-over before gently moving down the bed to him. “Yeah, a nap sounds good right now,” you said, hearing a few sounds of agreement from the other boys as John gave you the space to stand up before herding you to the door.
Now John was fuming, it wasn’t often that he got to this level of anger anymore, at least not before the OLs were put into place, but here he was guiding a hurt omega back to his barracks, and there wasn’t a damn thing he could do about it.
…Well, he could do something about it, but it would get him dishonourably discharged, as would the rest of his task force, who would follow suit. He knew he wouldn’t have to ask either, maybe because they would think his discharge was unjust or because they felt what had happened to the Omega was unjust. He wasn’t sure.
It was all he could think about was Jenson attacking you while you were alone and vulnerable, with none of his men around, none of them within earshot of the sounds of your yells and screams that frighten him…ok, less him more of the Alpha in him, who seemed to grow overly attached to you.
He pulled his lips back in a silent snarl while he pushed the door open to the barracks, letting you waltz your way inside. John watched as Gaz helped you pick out some PJs, socks, and slippers before guiding you to the shared shower block. He watched you pause at the door and jump a little when a shout came, and then came the snarling.
Heads snapped in the direction, only to find Johnny holding up a bathroom bag. “Ven’ Don’t forget these,” he said as he approached the pair, holding it out to you. They all watched as you slowly took the bag with a little crescent moon on it.
John watched as you smiled at Johnny. He watched as that smile didn’t reach your eyes. He had noticed that when he first met you, he had seen that your first instinct wasn’t to take off…ok, it was a little, but you had picked a fight (an unintentional one) with an alpha on day one. He wondered if that came from your training or if that was something that had followed you from the outside world.
“It’s al’ight little moon. You can shower. None of us will look, and no one will get in” That came from Simon, who was standing against the door of the barracks, his head tilted to the side. John let his eyes flick over before finding you…right he hadn’t thought about you being hesitant about entering the room alone, although it was dumb thinking you weren’t afraid. John watched as you nodded hesitantly before walking into the showers, only after Gaz had ensured there were no threats or dangers.
Once you were safely inside, Gaz closed the door and pressed his back against it while Alejandro and Simon converged at the walls, their backs facing Gaz while they waited for you to come out. He watched as Johnny made his way to the beds, taking some of the pillows and blankets, pulling them out and neatly tucking them down, the same with the pillows.
“Cap’you gonna stand there and watch, or are you gonna help?” Johnny asked as he walked to his bed and storage, pulling out a few T-shirts before returning them and dumping them into the bed. He paused as he lifted his head, looking at John with a look of worry on his face. “Should I give them a few more of my shirts?” John shrugged. “How would I know? I’ve never taken an omega permanently,” John said as he walked to his bed and storage, pulling out a few jumpers and socks before returning to the bed that has become a makeshift nest for you.
John walked out and motioned to the beds. “I would suggest giving something to the cause”, John said with a tilt of his head. Alejandro was the first of the three to shift on his feet. “Only if you take my place” " he said, his head turning to catch sight of Gaz leaning on the door with his arms crossed, looking every part of a SAS operative that he was.
John nodded his head as he took Alejandro’s place, and he clapped his shoulder. “Don’t worry, son. They’ll be alright here with us.”
The only thing that John got was a grunt of acknowledgement as Alejandro walked to his bed and storage, taking his turn in pulling out his shirts “Lord Johnny, did you cum in sheets” That had most of the team turning their heads to pair.

Notes:
A little content warning: there is a brief masturbation scene with Simon (Could I call it masturbation?), so there is mention of cock and a knot, so just be wary, as well as a brief mention of being licked.
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
Simon was about ready to bang his head off a wall. It was hard enough to live with other Alphas, but it was entirely another when he was shoved into a small, tight space with Alphas and a little Omega slowly driving him up a wall.
There had been a few incidents that he had returned from training the newbies where he found you in a cuddle pile with Kyle and Johnny, not to forget that stupid smell you released when you were overly excited,
But the incident that landed him in the barracks bathroom, well, that incident was you running around in his shirt and pouting to John about how Kyle and Johnny were being mean and by mean, you meant that they kept licking lines up your neck when you were in the standard room. What got him was you whining, putting both hands on John’s shoulder, and looking up at him with big pouty eyes; that is what had him legging it to the bathroom. Now here he was cock in hand, trying to rub one out.
Trying so hard to cum again, he must have been on his second or third orgasm, and it was starting to burn, but only in the right kind of way; he gritted his teeth as his hand ran down his shaft, hitting what would be his knot if he could sink into the pretty thing that wonders the barracks.
He used his free hand to bite into it as he tried to stifle a snarl; his hips naturally joined the fray as they began to twitch and thrust to meet his hand, Simon had barely known you for less than two months, and here he was trying to stifle his bloody moans and orgasms, he had entered inter phases like this when each new member of the team joined the last one being Johnny, and he thought that sucked…
His thoughts were cut short as another blinding orgasm came and went, his cum covering the stall door as his hips kept spasming. His breath was harsh and fast, like he had been running a marathon; he grunted when a knock came, “Si, when your done rubbing one out Cap wants to see us” Simon rolled his eyes; of course, Johnny knew that fucker always knew.
You groaned as you sunk into your seat in the conference room, cracking your neck a little, trying to get rid of that stiff neck you seemed to be chronically developing over the months of sleep.
But the cracking seemed to do little as you tried stretching it out. You watched as John and Alejandro walked into the room together, John carrying a stack of papers and Alejandro carrying papers that had him struggling to see over the top. You watched as he dropped them onto the table.
“Remind me to never carry shit for you again,” Alejandro said as he stretched his arms over his head, His back letting off audible pops. “Alejandro, if that is what your back sounds like after carrying paper, I would get that checked,” John said, chuckling a little, as he settled down in a chair. Not before long, Simon, Johnny, and Kyle filled in, taking their respective seats around the room.
Kyle files out with the rest of the team, each mopping and grumbling about the next mission they had finally received. It was a shit one but a mission all the same. He looked down at the file he had in hand, “You coming to the barracks?” you asked, shifting from one foot to the other. He shook his head. “Nah, got too much to do”, he said, waving You and Johnny off to the barracks; he headed to John’s office, hoping to talk with the man.
Once he had arrived, he settled into what had become his usual leather seat in the office. He flipped open the file, really reading through it rather than a cursory glance.
He was startled awake when he heard three sharp knocks on John’s desk. Looking up, I only find the man himself sitting at it and smiling, “Kyle, what is it?” John asked as he leaned back in his chair, “I…It’s nothing, Captain…have you discovered anything about Venom?” Kyle asked, not really what he wanted to ask, but he felt slightly too on the spot to think of much else
John shook his head. “No, nothing yet; I have even got Laswell looking into it, and she’s even coming up empty”, he said as he pulled out one of the five cigars that lay in the top desk draw, Kyle’s brows furrowed, sitting up his chair “Laswell is coming up empty handed?” he said sounding almost in disbelief, John nodded his head “Yeah so whoever Venom is and who they represent clearly don’t want us to know much about them” he said lighting his cigar and taking a puff.
Kyle rubbed a hand down his face as his other hand tapped away on the file. “What about this mission, though? Couldn’t it be done by some low-level recruits?” Kyle asked, tilting his head to the side.
John took a drag before he smoked. “Probably, but they want it done as quickly as possible and with little to no life loss”, John said, tilting his head back and blowing the smoke into the air, “But surely we could be doing something useful and not this”, Kyle said, as he lifted the folder to John.
John lifted one of his hands, showing mock surrender. “Sure there is, but none of it is going to us, so we take what we are given, and we will be grateful for it”, John said, blowing another plume of smoke into the room, “And I give you permission to repeat that to the rest of the boys and only that part Kyle,” He said, Kyle rolled his eyes as he stood “Yeah, yeah, be grateful for what you're given, don’t worry I’ll tell ‘em” he said as he headed out the door.

I'm sorry if the smutty (Masturbation?) Scene is awful. I'm still trying to get comfortable with writing sex scenes.
Chapter Text
You bounced into the vehicle Garage, your bags strapped to your shoulders, as you made your way to Johnny, leaning against the door of the Jeep. He flipped through some of the paperwork, his eyes flicking up to find yours.
“What are you doing, Sargent?” you asked, leaning beside him. Johnny flipped another page before he spoke. “Checking some intel before we go,” he said, flipping the folder shut before opening the door to the Jeep and tucking it into a metal box.
“This is a retrieval mission, isn’t it?” you ask, stuffing your bags into the boot; he nods. “Yeah, something to do with research," he says, waving his hand at Kyle, who gives you a brief nod before sliding his bags into the boot.
“Johnny you know you can’t talking about the mission in public”, Gaz said, thumping Johnny on the shoulder. Johnny rolled his eyes as he opened the door, allowing the three of you time to slide in. Kyle and Johnny are talking about the seats facing away from the front.
You slide to the far wall, up against the open window. “You know I hate that we only have one way of getting in and out, “ you mumble, pressing your head to the window. Kyle hummed as he settled into his seat.
“Tell me about it,” he said before turning to look at you. "Have you had a chance to go to your lab yet?” he asked, trying to stifle a yawn. You shook your head. “Not yet. With everything that is happening, I figure it’s not been the most important thing,” you say, a yawn taking over your face.
Johnny smiled as he tilted his head back into the headrest. “I would get on that. Cap is such a stickler for being where you’re supposed to be,” he said as the doors to the front opened, and Simon and John slid in. “What was that about me being a stickler?” John said as he slammed the door shut, forcing Johnny to bolt upright. “N-Nothing, Cap!”
John turned to look at the trio in the back, humming a little. “Sssuuurrreee” was all he said before turning back around and facing Simon. “You got what you need?” he asked, only getting a nod. He started up the engine. “I swear to god Kyle, if you need to pish, go now because I’m not stopping till the mission is over,” he said, shooting Kyle a glare. Kyle waved him off.
“Cap just hit it. I’m ready to get going,” Kyle says as he clutches the seat. You had caught that little movement. ‘What the’ was all you could think before you were nearly launched into Kyle's lap.
Chapter Text
Kyle huffed as he dodged a fist that came from behind him. It clenched tight. “Pass these out, Gaz,” Simon said, barely giving Kyle the time to catch whatever it was in his hand before his hand disappeared as quickly as it came.
Once Kyle had caught the items, he looked at them, finding them little black ear pieces. “Oh man why have they given us the shitty ones” he mutters as he passes them out to you and Johnny; you look at him confused as you slip your bud in, listening to it crackle into a frequency.
“That’s shite,” Johnny said as he put his in. You watched as he winced as the frequency hit his ears “Och Cap’ is there any need for the freq,” he asked as he pulled at his ear, trying to lessen the irritation from the frequency.
“Captain Wells is holding the good stuff hostage until we either trade Ven or we get rid of Ven, and since I don’t believe in caving to tyrants or trading flesh for goods, we’re stuck with this,” John said as he drove. The boys grumbled, clearly a little annoyed at Wells.
“Where is Alejandro?” you ask, as you pull any strands of hair that may have got trapped between your ear and the piece; Johnny and Kyle went silent, their eyes flicking between themselves and then you, before they slightly turned their heads to look at Simon and John over their shoulder.
“He was having medical issues, so he’s back at the base while it gets investigated further, but don’t worry; he’s handling the coms and the camera,” Simon said. You nodded your head before your earpiece cracked, and Alejandro’s voice came over. “Is a sweet omega missing me?” he asked, his voice sounding rough and out of breath.
“Hardly just making sure you weren’t dead or anything”, came Simon’s rough reply; you watched as John and Kyle tried to hide their smiles and choked laughs with their hands as they fiddled with their gear.
“What is this mission about Cap? I know it’s mostly recon.” you ask as you slide to the edge of your seat. “It’s simple, Venom. There is some research that was stolen, and we are to recover it and destroy it if we can,” John said as the vehicle made a sharp turn.
“Do we know what we are looking for?” Johnny asked, turning his head to the front. “Not as of right now. We will receive more information once we reach base,” Simon responded.
“Base? I thought this was going to be a quick mission,” you said, as you watched Kyle play with his uniform, “Like I said Captain Wells won’t give us good missions”, John said; as the vehicle came to a stop, Johnny and Kyle grumble as the climb out of the car, “Great we get shitty cots and we got an omega to care for” Kyle muttered.
“Hey! " you called back. “I take offence to that," you shouted. “Sorry, Ven. It was hard enough to keep you safe with Alpha, we knew, let alone ones who have gone months without contact from outside their moon pack,” Kyle said as he walked to the boot of the vehicle.
You grumbled as you followed him. “So? There was no need to pick on my status,” you said as you helped pull out bags. You jumped a little when John’s hand clasped your shoulder. “He’s right, Venom. We gotta keep a tighter reign on you now,” he said as he picked up his bag. You grumbled at the mention of being on a tighter reign. They talk as if you were free-roaming in the first place.
The five of you make your way into the small base. You eye a few of the tents that are dotted around the small area, feeling like thousands of eyes have found their way to and are devouring you at every opportunity. You turn your head to a tent furthest away from the lot only to see a flash of…well, something dart back inside of the tent. You shift your shoulders a little.
Feeling uneasy was common for an omega, especially around alphas they didn’t know, nor were they a part of their packs. But this was abnormal. It looked as though the place was deserted. Johnny pulled you closer to him, wrapping an arm over your shoulder, almost like he could sense your discomfort and your worry. Then again, he probably could. He was one of two who were the most attentive to you.
As the group marched deeper into the base, Kyle pulled up beside John, whispering something to him before turning his head to you, Simon and Johnny. John nodded as he came to a stop, turning to you, his voice barely above a whisper. “You got something to hide your scent?” he asked, his hands digging into your pockets. “I’m wearing my patch does that cover-” you were cut off by Kyle, his voice a little strained “No, you still smell like an omega an un-rutted omega but still an omega,” he said, as he dropped his bag and pulled out a shirt from his bag and tossing it at you.
You snatched it, pulling it close, trying desperately to resist the urge to swim in his smell. “Wrap that around your waist under your shirt quick,” he said as he fixed his bag back onto his shoulders. You quickly followed his instructions, tying the shirt around your waist and pulling your shirt back down. “I don’t think—” Johnny began to say before he was cut off by a much deeper and growlier voice.
“Captain John Price and his little team of misfits I never thought I would see you on one of my bases after what happened last time”, the voice had said; you looked up to find a tall, skinny man who appeared to be in his late, thirties if not early forties, the hair slowly greying from it’s natural brown, skin mottled from different tans, as well as a few bruises some looking a little fresher than the others, “Sargent Evans, When did they let you out of nomads?” John asked as he walked closer to the man.
Chapter Text
Sargent Evans laughed as he walked closer. "A little while ago, Price, when did they promote you to Captain?" he called back. Price smiled as he approached the older Alpha. "A while back, Sargent."
Sargent Evens met him halfway, smiling and holding his hand to John. John laughed as he shook the sergeant's hand. "Now, do you have a spare tent for my team?" Sargent Evans nodded, waving to the team behind John and leading them to a sizeable sand-covered Tent. "I think I have something for your boys," he said.
As the six of you head to the tent, you feel a million eyes stare into your soul or, better yet, into your skin like the first piece of meat they had seen from a cold and harsh winter. As if sensing your discomfort, Simon lightly pushes you closer to the group's centre, allowing himself to trail behind the rest.
Once the rest of the team had been shuffled into the large tent, you were met with walls of screens, varying soldiers sitting with headphones, watching lines of codes or symbols streaming across the screens. You watched the lines on the screen, your scientific brain going haywire with confusion. Johnny had nudged your shoulder when you had stalled behind a particular Soldier who had begun to take note of you and your smell.
Once you had picked up your pace again to join the rest of the team, John awaited you at the tent's exit. He held it open for you, leaning in. "Don't linger too long; we don't know this pack well enough," he whispered low, a warning to stick close by. You nodded, not wanting to stick out further than you already had.
"Everything Okay, Price?" Sargent Evans yelled, his eyes trailing between you and John. John only lifted his hand, shouting, "Aye, Sargent, just keeping my stragglers close!" You watched as Sargent Evans nodded and continued to lead the team away from the large tent to one that was big and round and, indeed, had seen better days.
Sargent Evans paused in front of the flaps of this tent, waiting for the rest of the team to group back together "You're lucky that the one with the accent called ahead, letting me know you were coming, or else you would be facing the sand storm on your own" he said, as You and John met with the back of the group, John only rolled his eyes "Aye, Aye Sargent are you gonna let us get in and settled or make us sweat our balls off" he said pushing to the front of the group, The Sargent only lifted a brow before holding open the flap letting the team walk past him, you had figured that it was some security thing.
You yelped when your arm was grabbed, pulling you to a dead stop in front of the sergeant, whose eyes grew almost pitch black, his eyes scanning over you before flicking over to the team. "You're allowing an omega into my grounds?" he questioned as he pulled you a little closer; you growled, not liking the movement of being pulled by a ragdoll. John was quick to step in closer, his hands you.p "They're a part of our team on loan; we're not to harm a singular hair on their head," he said, as he gently tried to pry The Sargent's fingers off your arm; you had far less patience for the gentle prying as you tried ripping your arm out of his grip "You still brought one here, around my men?" He growled back, getting close and personal with John's face.
John didn't move, only stared into the Alpaha's eyes. "Leo, if you can't trust your men…" he had said, his voice trailing off, leaving the exact connotation in the air, which seemed only to piss off Evan even more "Don't disrespect my men, John; I didn't bring an unmated omega to a stranger pack grounds" he growled back, John by this point had managed to get Leo's fingers off your arm gently pulling you away from the Alpha "Leo my whole team outranks you, leave it be" John says his voice becoming lower, as you make your way to Kyle and Simon.
Kyle met you with open arms and a smile as he pulled you into his safety. Johnny and Simon, Leo growled, baring his teeth, which in turn forced you to bare your teeth and growl back at him; your omega not liking that some lower ranking officer was threatening it, your growled had set off a chain of other growls that reverberated from the few soldiers that had come to see what the commotion was about, John lifted his hand high into the air calling the attention of everyone.
"ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT! I know everyone is on edge, but there is no need, Leo. If you could just direct us to our corner, we'll get set up and rest," John said, his eyes fixed on the still huffy and bared Alpha. Leo snapped his jaw a little as he moved to face further into the tent. John grabbed his arm much in the same fashion Leo had grabbed yours.
"No, Leo. Tell us, and I'll guide my pack," he said, pulling Leo back to face him. If looks could kill, John would be six feet under by now. Leo grunted as he pointed and explained which part the team would stay in for now. John only nodded before guiding the team from behind, keeping a tight rein on the back of his shirt.
Once you had made it to the back of the tent, a stone's throw away from the rest of the unknown alphas, John pulled the team in for a huddle. "Now listen here. There are a lot of unknown entities here, but there are few we can trust. Am I clear?" John whispers
"Aye Cap"
"Yes, Sir"
"Always"

Chapter Text
Simon helped Kyle push the beds together, trying to keep the pack together. "Ven, I know this isn't the most ideal, but it'll have to do," Johnny said, wrapping his arm over your shoulder, his eyes flicking behind him to the Alpha's. "Yeah, I know. I want it over as quickly as possible," you whispered, your eyes following John around the room, watching as he pulled some of the blankets together using safety pins to make a larger makeshift blanket.
Simon huffed as he fluffed up some of the flatter pillows. "It's at least we're not sleeping on the floor," he said. Kyle hummed as he pulled his bag off, dumping it onto the bed, and zipped it open. "Yeah, but I need to check on the bloody dust devil," he grumbled as he pulled out a laptop.
You look at him, confused. "Dust devil?" you ask, turning your head to him. Johnny hums. "Aye, Dust Devil," he says in an obvious way. You turn your head to Simon, waiting for him to further expand on this obvious thing, but he shrugs as if it were also obvious. You hear a chuckle, your head turning to John.
"Yes, a dust devil. I'm sure you've come across some at some point," John says, nodding to Kyle, sitting on the bed having kicked off his boots, sitting in a basket, hunched over, eyes glued to his screen. You could only imagine as wave after wave of new information flew across his screen.
"Gaz?" you ask, his name a question but not the one you had asked for. He lifted his head just briefly to show that he had heard your silent question, his eyes just briefly meeting yours, before he returned to his screen as he rapidly typed and clicked.
"A dust Devil is new tech. It messes with our systems, leaving us often out of range and without backup," he says. You nod, understanding but unsure whether this is a real weather thing or a device. "It's a device about six or seven feet tall and can span hundreds of miles, leaving us in the dark zone," Kyle says, answering your question before you could even ask.
"Right…I assume there's one near here?" you ask, now actually understanding what a 'Dust Devil' was; you hear a noise of contemplation. "Aye and naw, There's aon oot here, but the enemies have aon tae," Johnny says, and you nod your head, pretending you understood anything that came out of his mouth.
John chuckled as he appeared at your side, holding his duffle bag. "What he means is, the enemies have one too," he says, translating Johnny. You make an awed face, nodding. "RRRiiiggghhhttt," you say, watching as Johnny's nose dives into the bed, sighing as his shoulders deflate into the bed. Simon kicks Johnny's feet, which hang off the bed. "OI! Watch it!" he gruffs.
You watch as John sits his duffle down on the bed, rifling through it. He pulls out a few of his shirts and rubs them up the side of the bedding before promptly dropping them on the floor and dragging them across the floor, creating a visual space where the 141's space started.
"That should keep the boys away," John said, picking up his shirt and shaking it, letting all the dust and dirt fall. Kyle grumbled. "I hope I'm not expected to do that," he said, his eye flicking between his computer screen and John. Simon whacked Kyle upside the head. "We'ave an Omega now," he said, pointing to you.
"Ven, you got anything for a TN?" John asked, his eyes turning back to you. You pursed your lips together as you thought…"I don't know…maybe?" you said, as you turned to your bag, conveniently in Simon's hands, holding it for you as you rifled through it. You pulled out a small silver case and gently placed it on the bed as you continued to rifle through your bag.
The boys watched as you pulled out a short cylinder tube, gently placing it on the bed beside the Silver case. You pulled two files, a notebook, and a pen before you found your clothes neatly rolled up at the bottom of the bag. You pulled out a shirt in victory, waving it a little. "I knew it was down there somewhere," you said, holding it out to Simon.
You had expected Simon to take the shirt you held out to him. You waved it to gather his attention, but you looked up at him when it didn't come. His eyes weren't on you like they usually were, or at least what it felt like. They were stuck on something behind you or more than one thing. Your face scrunched in confusion when you looked over your shoulder.
Your face paled only a little. "Lutenient, they're empty," you said, quickly grabbing the silver case and tube and stuffing them back into your bag. You quickly stuffed the files you had pulled out into your bag. "Why do you have them?" he asked, his voice low and threatening.
You had honestly forgotten they were in there, the case holders, you mean..you had forgotten you had put them in there, intending to take them to the lab and had gotten severely sidetracked by…well…everything…
"I forgot. I can only imagine that I'm allowed to be sidetracked given what's happened," you say, taking your bag from him. Quickly closing the bag, you seal it tight and stuff it under the bed.
Simon only squinted his eyes at you as he slowly nodded and agreed. "Of course, footie", he said, flicking from your toes to your head before walking away…
Your shoulders deflated slightly as you looked down at your feet…You could only hope none of the boys figured out how to open the lock, or else they would know.
You lied.

Chapter Text
It had been days since most of the team had seen any resemblance of daylight, most of them inside the tent, giving either you or one of the boys a chance to sleep. It was during one of these night watches that Simon approached John.
"Cap?" Simon asked as he walked closer to his captain. John only nodded his head, the only indication that he had heard Simon. "How much do we know about venom?" Simon asked; he wasn't one to argue or complain when given an order from his captain… but this recruit felt somewhat off as if something was happening that he didn't know about.
John sighed as he turned his head to Simon. "Why?" was all John had asked. Simon knew that John wouldn't ask if something felt off or wrong; he would just shrug his shoulders. "Som'it'in wrong," he said, his eyes flickering from the bed, where Kyle, Johnny, and you slept somewhat peacefully.
John shrugged his shoulders, mimicking Simon, something that Simon hated most in the world. "You mean the cases?" John asked, his eyes flitting down under the bed to the bag that you had shoved there earlier. "Yes" was all Simon said, his head turning back out to the rest of the tent, eyes watching and waiting for something.
"Sounds like they told the truth," John said as he stretched, trying to move the stiffness from his shoulders. Simon followed suit, stretching before falling back into formation. John sighed, his hand on Simon's shoulder. "What do you think they've done?" John asked.
Simon cracked his neck, unsure how to answer John's question. "Dunn'o somfins off," he said, his head forward, body straight, waiting, bracing for what was to come, his conditioning kicking in. "I can't put my finger on it, somfins off," he said, again repeating his belief. John sighed, knowing that even if Simon couldn't put his finger on it, he was usually right.
"What do you want us to do?" John asked.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You woke with a groan, rubbing your eyes as you sat up in bed, your vision somewhat bleary. Once you managed to pry open your eyes, you found that Johnny and Kyle were no longer in bed. You sat up confused, looking around to find the pair's familiar bodies.
"Cap, you can't be serious?" You overheard Gaz whisper. "I'm not talking abandonment," Captain whispered back. You turned around, looking for them, your brows drawing together, unable to spot them in your little side of the tent. "Jus'be careful on wha' you say," Simon had whispered.
You watched as Simon pulled back a flap in the tent, revealing John, Kyle, and Johnny, a set of screens dimly lighting the background behind them, lines of code flickering up the screens. Kyle was the first to break the silence. "Ven! Did you sleep well?" he asked, as he walked past Simon, coming to stand at the end of the bed.
Your eyes flicked up and then down, analysing him. 'I'm not safe,' you thought, as you nodded your head, smiling up at him. "Yeah, I slept fine," you said. Kyle smiled as he tapped the bed. "'Mon' I have somethin to show you," he said, turning on his heel and heading back past Simon and into the little area that was cordoned off.
You pulled the tangled blankets from your legs, climbing out of the bed and sauntering after him. You continued to rub at your eyes as you walked past Simon, your free eye watching his boots, watching… waiting for him to move in and grab you… but when you safely made it past him and he didn't move an inch, you relaxed your shoulders, letting them drop a little.
You yawned once you'd made it to the screens, watching as Kyle took a seat, pressing buttons on a keyboard, his eyes flicking across the screen, reading the lines of code. "You can read that?" you asked, barely being able to remember how to create code, let alone read it. Kyle shrugged his shoulders as he glanced over at you. "Some of it," he said, before nodding to a seat beside him.
You took it, sitting beside him and watching as he observed the code. "Anything specific we're looking for?" you asked; your free hand finding a small divot on the metal table. "Anything unusual," John said. You pursed your lips as you nodded. "Have you found anything?" you asked, really beginning to hate how it seemed they were all in the loop and you weren't.
You watched as Johnny faltered a little in his movements before he returned to his usual smiles and laughter "Naw, naw, havnae found anythin' " he said, as he left the little closed-off area and returned with a small metal square, you slowly nodded your head, as you turned back to the code "You have got to stop stealing their shit" You heard John say before a thwack is heard, you turn just in time to see Johnny look over to John with nothing but hurt and betrayal in his eyes.
"Cap!" was all he said, before he returned to his task of setting the table he had stolen from the outside alpha, you jumped when Kyle shot out from his seat, his hands up in triumph "FUCK YES!" he shouted laughing, you look at him confused and a little frightened.
An automated voice came through the speakers of the computer, "20, 1, 19, 11, 6, 15, 18, 3, 5, 1, 4, 1" was forced out, Kyle smiled as he turned to John "Fuck me, that was annoying" he said, as he sat back down into his seat, you looked at him still confused John sighed, as he rubbed at his face "Atta boy" was all he said before he left your little closed off area.
"What's happened," you ask, your head turning to Simon "Alejandro is calling out for us" was all he said, a look of happiness you thought before following John out.
Chapter Text
You huffed as you followed after John, your omega still annoyed that it had been disturbed from its slumber. You cracked your neck side to side, tension beginning to creep back into your body. Something you hadn't noticed had slowly dissipated when you met the 141.
"So…" John began to say, his eyes trained on the flap that sectioned off the little space you and the rest of the 141 called your own. Your eyes flicked to him, giving him a once-over. You felt that familiar warning ringing the same sound your commander had beaten into you.
"Yes, Captian?" you question figuring it would be easier to play dumb, you watched as John crossed his arms over his chest, his eyes flicking back to you and then the flap, "The NBOC," he said, slowly as if trying not to frighten a small animal, you squint your eyes at him unsure where he was going with this, you nodded your head "Yeah?" you ask shoving your hands into your pockets.
"What did you do exactly?" he asked, you tilted your head…this isn't how you thought he would ask, you thought it would be in some blackout base, in some interrogation room, with blood and pliers somehow involved or maybe it would be the answer to a bomb that was close to going off.
You straightened back, "What do you mean sir?" John looked at you, this time half turning to you "You know what I mean, you weren't just a Biological engineer" he said, "Were you?" You took a deep breath swallowing harshly "I was just a Biological Engineer sir"
Johnny shuffled out behind you heading to the bed and pulling his bag out from underneath "Cap, please say they have some form cleaning building or something" he grumbled John turned to look at Johnny "They do it's not much" he said, nodding his head past the curtain "If you go you're taking Venom too" he said, Johnny's shoulders dropped.
"Aye, Aye captain," He said, as he pulled out his cleaning kit, Johnny turned to you offering his bag to you "I'mma need you to hold my shit while I carry your shite" he grumbled as he reached his hand down looking for your bag "I'll grab my stuff," You said gently guiding him away from your bag. Johnny only nodded as he moved to stand next to John.
You huff pulling the bag out, taking your small washing bag, before kicking your bed back under the bed, hearing it slide next to the other bags, "Hurry, I wan't a fuckin wash" Johnny grumbled as he walked past the little flap, you hurried after him some dust getting kicked up from your boots.
"Oi, mind the dust" you heard someone shout, by the time you had made it outside the tent, Johnny was already miles ahead of you, his shoulders slumped, his head down, as she stomped his way to the shitty shower tents, though you assumed they where better than wet wipes and water bottle bird baths.
Johnny and you walk in silence as you arrive at the tent. Johnny had made you wait outside while he went in and checked the tent, securing it before he let you in. When he waved you in after throwing a half-naked Alpha out, you looked at him. Something was off. You had figured it was the mission. Being away from his home base for the last week, Johnny grumbled as he dumped his stuff on a bathroom counter.
You gulped unsure what to do, where you were supposed to say something, despite the jokes and the smilies and the sweet moments you and the rest of 141 were strangers, all pack interactions were forced by circumstances, by Alpha and Omega instinct nothing was of choice or free will, you looked down at your wash bag suddenly feeling a little guilty, for something you nor they could control.
"WHAT!" Johnny snapped his whole body tense, you jumped looking up at him for the first time in several months you were placed in front of a raging Alpha one that you had not suspected would snap and eat you like you were prey, but just as quickly as your body recoiled it tensed, teeth bared and snarling.
That little Omeaga voice inside your head growled, 'How dare he!' Johnny mimicked your stature, shoulders hunched, teeth bared. You snarled at him as a sign of warning as you circled your way to the exit, needing out fast. Johnny mimicked each step, seeming to become more and more beast-like the longer you stayed.
Once you had made it to the exit, you gently backed out of it, letting the flap cut the eye contact both of you held. As soon as you were no longer in a battle of wills, you ran as fast as you could back to the tent's side. Kyle was the first to find you, with a look of worry on his face as he stood from the bed. The next was Simon, and then John, who looked just as worried as Kyle.
"W-What happened," Kyle asked, as he pointed to the bed his eyes already looking you over for injuries, "Whe'rs Johnny?" Simon asked as he darted to the flap lifting it expecting Johnny to come in blooded or bruised, "Comn Ven, what happened" John asked kneeling in front of you as you tried to catch your breath.
"J—Johnny's….Johnny's gone fearal" you whispered as sunk to your knees a little hoping. praying. Something else had to be going on. And not that fucking disease.
There was a beat of silence that followed those words before all hell broke loose…
Chapter Text
You don't think that you have ever seen the boys move so quickly, Kyle was at your side checking you over, and Simo had vanished, John shortly following after him, you assumed to put Johnny down, you could hear panicked voices and yelling as you heaved "It'll be fine, your fine" Kyle whispers as he lifts your arms, as he guides you to the bed sitting you down, before he continued his checks.
Kyle began to untie your boots "I have to check, your feet" he said, you blinked at him, and he looked up at you pausing "Ven did you hear me?" he asked tapping your boot you blinked at him again, he sounded so far away, "Shit" was the first and last words you heard before your vision went black.
Kyle sprinted away from the bed, out of the corner they had called home for the last few weeks, he found a random soldier pointing and barking commands, as he returned to you as quickly as he left, being gentle as he pulled your legs up and swings you onto the bed properly lying you down.
He sat down beside you, his hands finding your hair and pulling your hair from your face "We got you, We got you Ven" he said as he turned to your boots untying them, and pulling them from your feet, he sighed when you say that the bottom of your socks where a dark green, that looked heavy.
When he touched them he found that his fingers turned light pink, "Damnit, Ven, You gotta tell us when you in pain" he said, as he tugged your trousers up your legs pulled off your socks, folded them together and put them to the side, it wasn't long later until a medical arrived, bag in hand as he kneels down beside you.
"Damn, I thought we got lucky," the medic said, as she pulled up your eyelids shining light in them, the medic looked to Kyle "What's their name?" she asks as she shakes your shoulders, "Venom," Kyle said, quickly as he watches the medic shake your shoulders "Venom, Venom," she says in each ear trying to get a sound from you.
Kyle watched as the medic pressed on your nails and when you didn't respond she grunted as a small group of other medics arrived with a gurney with them "We have no verbal response, Eyes reactive, breathing fine" The group of medics moved Kyle to the side as they surround you, Kyle watches as the medics move you onto the gurney.
"We take them to the tent —" The first medics were barking an order when you began to shake and seize "Well, shit!" was all that was said as they began running the group moving a top speed as they began running out of your tent and out into the open the unsecured and unprotected open, that had Kyle scrambling for his gun.
He sprinted after the medics as he ran, he collided with John, the pair of them hitting the ground "SHIT! KYL—" was all John could say before Kyle was back on his feet, as he returns to his sprinting speeds "IT'S VEN" he shouts, glancing over his shoulder as he slowly closes the distance between him and the medics.
Kyle didn't hear much else other than a "FUCK!" and pounding footsteps follow after him, but they sound louder and far more desperate than his.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was torture, it truly was as John sat staring at you his eyes watching your chest rise and fall, damn it, truly damn it, he thought Johnny was safe, he thought Johnny had time before he was to join Alejandro in the rooms, he rubbed his hand down his face his phone vibrated on the side table.
He didn't think about when he picked up the call barking a "WHAT!" whatever poor sod who was on the other side was unlucky to get a hold of him "Cap we've arrived back" was all Simon said, John blinked once then twice before he pinched his nose.
"And Johnny?" he asked, his eyes finding that stupid monitor that beeped telling him you were still alive "Mostly fine," Simon said, John could hear snarling and growling from the phone before a bang and whimpering "They better not be hurting him," he says, rubbing at his forehead "No, No, that would just be a fifty-third attempt at a nap," Simon said.
John really hated this, like actually really hated it he thought for a moment shit was going great but, as always shit meet a fan, "What did Doc say?" he asked tilting his head back and staring at the shitty medic tent "Doc reckons he's fine, just that he pushed a little too much" Simon says before growling could be heard again "WOULD YO—" Was that was heard before Simon came back to call "Cap, gotta run, he's doing that thing" he says hanging up before John could say anything.
John tossed his phone back onto the side table, grunting a little, he was planning his next steps, he had already planned the how and when, but now he had more than half of his team out of commission and the other half were either tending or escorting said team, he leaned forward in his chair, rubbing his temples "How am I going to explain this to Kate" he said.
"You won't," A voice said at the door, John turned his head to look finding Kate leaning against a pole close to the entrance "I take it you heard?" John asked Kate nodded her head as she walked in, "Oh yeah, I heard" she said, as she picked up the medical chart that sat at the foot of your bed "They're asking how their operative is doing" Kate said, John only folded in further into himself great just picking great now he has a third party to worry about "What did you say?" he asked.
Kate shrugged a shoulder "As far I knew they were fine and away on a mission uncontactable" she said, as she flicked through the folder, John nodded, 'that sounded great but what happens when they want to see them?' John thought, "What are you going to tell them," he asked, Kate pursed her lips as she put the folder back "I haven't decided yet, figured we want to try and wake them up before I told them" she muttered, as she walked over to John.
"They won't tell me much," he said lifting his hands up, trying to ward her off, there wasn't much that Joh could keep from Kate and this was certainly one of them, Kate's shoulders dropped "I know, I know, but you have no idea how many randoms dressed in black have been all over the base since yous left," she says.
"Aye?" John questions turning his head to Kate, Kate could only nod her head "They even started to show up at my house" she said rubbing her eyes, her mask cracking and revealing, a weary mother and wife, "The kids?" John asked, Kate waved her hand "Their fine, a little frighten but fine They're just fine" she said, as she perched on the arm of the chair.

Chapter Text
Simon only sighed in relief as Johnny was thrown into one of the rooms, the door slamming shut behind him, the bolt locking in place "Fucking finally" he said Alejandro humed the sound almost animalistic "I know, he's worse than normal" he said, as he scratched at his cuffs, growling. "You think because of Ven?" Alejandro asked, Simon nodded, "We knew it was going to cause chaos but not this quickly", he said.
Alejandro huffed "Yeah? well it's just our luck" he said as he pressed his face into a cool cloth "I heard that Venom got sick" Alejandro said, Simon rolled his shoulders his alpha snarling at the thought of one of its own was harmed in some way, "Yeah, they're laid up in a bed in medbay," he said. Alejandro hummed as he walked to the door, rapping on it, "You thin—"
"No I don't think it will hold, never seen him like this", Simon said, as Johnny clawed at the door, growling and snarling, his instincts going wild on the other side of the door. "But we need to do something", Simon said as he made his way to Alejandro, his hand pressing against the cool metal.
Alejandro nodded, laughing a little "Yeah, I'm not willing to be his personal cum dump" Simon knew Alejandro was joking but he wasn't wrong about two things, one it couldn't be him and two Johnny need to cum quickly, Simon growled as he rubbed his hands down his face, scrubbing at his jaw.
"Tell Cap, I'm helping Johnny," He said as he opened the door and walked inside.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You groaned as you opened your eyes, it felt like a semi had hit you, you blinked your eyes open, the room was dark and cool helping the hot feeling you could feel settling into your skin, cooling the sweat that rolled down your face "Good to see your awake Agent" a voice said, you turned your head trying to find who the voice belonged to.
Your eyes squinted "Don't bother trying to figure where I am, focus on your healing", they said. Your eyes track around the darkness. The voice laughed, "You know the Captain, is doing his best to convince us your well" The voice said, You could hear them move around at the foot of your bed "And well you know the team, they don't believe in strangers" You squint your eyes, you were barely able to make out an outline.
"Now the question remains, do I tell them?" they said, you could almost hear them purse their lips ", Or do you go from an emblisim?" Your eyes widened, you knew who this was now, "Y-Y-You k-ill m-ee" Your voice was hoarse and weak, it was sore and painful, they laughed before speaking "Y-Y-You k-ill m-ee, how the mighty have fallen", they said.
They sighed as they leaned over the foot of your bed, allowing you to see their face a little better "Unfortunately, I have to let you live", they sounded disappointed. "Guess I have to tell them, you're fine", they said, grabbing your face.
"It will be your only mercy"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You spent the next several days recovering, and the team doted after you. You had just come back from a blood test to find Johnny, who looked a little worse for wear "Ven!" he said, smiling. You smiled back as you walked into your room. Johnny loitered in the doorway "You coming or what?" you asked as you settled on your bed.
"When do you get out?" he asked as she stepped into the room. You shrugged, "Don't know, but I don't think it's long now", you said, pulling a throw pillow Kyle had given you over your stomach. Johnny nodded, "I see, the boys have spoiled you rotten" you nod "Yeah, Kyle's brother made the cover" you said lifting the pillow, Johnny hummed, you knew he felt off, you knew it wasn't his fault, "…Glad to see you're better" you said.
Johnny rubbed his face "Yeah…Doc recs it was a combo of you, rut and stress", he says. You nod, "Yeah when Cap said you were better and coming round, I figured it wasn't anything to do with the disease", you said, pursing your lips, you watched as Johnny moved around the room, fumbling a little, you knew he felt guilty over what happened the scare he gave you and the rest of the team.
"You know…" Johnny began, You put your hand up, 'I know," you said, as a knock came at your door. You both turned to find Kyle and Alejandro peeking around the door "Not disturbing you, are we?" Alejandro asked. You smile and shake your head "No, no, come in", you said, waving them in. The pair came in carrying a box "I swear my brother thinks you're dying", Kyle said as he put the box on the bed.
You shrugged, "I like it, it's nice to have someone, do this" you say, your eyes widen as you realise what you said "I'M SO SORRY—" Alejandro and Kyle laugh "Funny you say that, his brother said you would that way" Alejandro said, waving his hand as if he was waving way your apology, you glance at Kyle, who only nodded and smiled "Yeah, he did, he was worried you were being 'Drowned in Alphaness'" he said using qoatations "Whatever that means" he said.
You smiled "I haven't hear from Cap or Simon in a few days" you say as you sort through the box finding random little things mostly soft and squishy, Johnny sighed "Yeah they're back at base beating of the NBOC with a stick" he said muttering, your hand paused a little when it was moving things around the box "Oh? they've been asking for me?" you ask.
"Yeah, they've been asking about you a lot." Alejandro said, looking at you, "And it feels like they know more than they're letting on" Kyle said, looking out the window, you knew it was only a matter of time before the NBOC came looking, but you never thought they would send out Him.
"…Well I am only out on loan", you said.
Chapter Text
John huffed as he rubbed a hand down his face "I understand that you want to see them but they are away on a mission", he said "Caption John if they are not in front of me in the next 12 hours," the women on the screen said "You need to understand that will be difficult" the women's face grew dark, John knew that look it was a look he was well familiar with.
"We understand how difficult it is not knowing where your agent is—" Simon began, but she growled, "You will get them in front of this screen or so help me, you will never see the light of day again", she said her shoulders squared off, "Miss—" John began before she began "I told you to address me as Agent" she said.
John sighed, "Yes, sorry I forgot" Simon huffed as he stood beside his captain; this call had been going on for hours, her demanding that they produce Venom now, and the pair of them swearing that Venom was away on a mission. Simon turned to the crew that was sitting at the consoles below. He would place a hefty bet that they were enjoying Price getting his head ripped off by a high-ranked Omega.
"Lieutenant Riley, I asked you a question," the woman snarled. Simon jumped at her voice, his eyes snapped to the screen "Apologies, I was elsewhere", he said. "Clearly, I will be there in the morning, and I best see my agent when I land", she barked "Ma'am, Agent Bells, their—" John had begun, but the call was cut. The last screenshot was of Agent Bells face scowling at them.
"DAMN IT!, DAMN IT!, DAMN IT!" John shouted, as he swiped his hands across the table that was in front of him, sending cups, pens, pencils and papers across the room "FUCKING DAMN!" he continued as he turned away from the screen, he sat on the edge of the table, as he pulled his hair, he huffed out of his nose.
"We need Venom out of the fucking ward and back outside," John muttered, rapping his fist on the table. "Price, they're not ready, they're at least another week or two out," Simon said. John's face dropped, showing the weary older man that he was "Times up," he whispered.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He watched from his scope in his birds nest, "Yeah, yeah, I can see them", he said, as he fixed the phone to his ear "It's fun watching them run around like pups", he chuckled, he moved his scope down as he followed John pointing to a vehicle "Yeah, I think he's going to send them away"
He flicked his scope to Simon, who was throwing bags into the vehicle, "No I really think they're sending them off somewhere" he sighed "Yeah, Yeah, I'll keep my eye on them, it's what you sent me out here for" he said "I know keep a low profile, no unessassery shooting", he hung up the phone.
"Yeah, Just not the team members, you never said about them", he whispered as he flicked his scope again, the crosshair directly following your movements as you were helped across the base "Never said anything about an accident", he muttered.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You huffed as you were escorted off base "Will someone fucking tell me where we are going?" you ask, as you stick your head in front of the two front seats "Not now we're a little busy" Simon said pushing your face back "Watch your head, You can't be seen the now"
You huff as you're pulled inside the back of the vehicle "What is it with Alpha's and pushing?" you grumble, as Kyle and Alejandro pull to sit between them, you cross your arms over your chest, still very grumpy at the fact that you're allowed to hide in a nest to recover.
"Not that we push a lot, you just don't sit still" Alejandro said patting your head, both his and Kyle's backs where to the to very tiny slither of windows that was the only source of light inside the already small and cramped vehicle "That still doesn't answer my question" you said, your jaw starting to tick "And as we said we'll explain when we get there" John said, you could see his hands grip the steering wheel so tightly they become white.
You grumble as you pout, sinking between the two boys, "Still you won't say anything," you grumble. Kyle snickers and pats your thigh "All in due time, Ven, all in due time" he said tilting his head back, you could hear it thunk against the window.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You sat and burned holes into the back of Simon's head rest "I can feel your glares" he said, turning to look at you "You wouldn't if you told me what was happening?" you said, crossing your arms over your body, Simon sighed rubbing his hand down his face.
"I know it's frustrating not knowing but right now ignorance is bliss" he said, looking to Kyle and Alejandro for support, Kyle jumped in nodding his head "Yeah, right now it's best you don't know" he said, your huffed nodding your head as if you agreed.
"It has something to do with the NBOC doesn't it?" you said, the way Simon turned back around in his seat gave you all your answers "Great, their being asses, who did you speak to?" you ask, Simon refused to turn round and the glare you give Kyle and Alejandro has them raising their hands in innoccence.
"Johnny?" you ask, despite the one word, it asked a very simple question 'If you know tell me?', Johnny who had yet to utter a singular word finally opening his mouth "I don't know, it's classified, I don't think Cap or LT were to even know about it" he said, as he gripped the wheel.
You pursed your lips again nodding, that was a fact, you know Alpha's had a hard time lying after a rut, "Agent Bell" you said, it was a name, a name you hadn't seen or uttered in close to year, but it was a powerful one, one you didn't want to see or hear outside the NBOC, You watched as Simon bristled against the mention of her name.
"I fucking knew it"
