Beam's P.O.V.
I was having a peaceful lunch by myself until an annoying engineering guy approached my table. He sat down across from me like he owned the place and stole my drink. I looked at him annoyed before rolling my eyes.
"Asshole you better buy me another one." I said.
"I've had a really bad day and I'm so freaking tired have mercy on me." He replied finishing my drink.
"It's not my fault they picked you as the head hazer. Besides you accepted to do it so deal with it." I replied.
"I don't mind doing it. But there's this kid who's so damn difficult to deal with. Seriously I want to beat him up. He has made all the freshmen rally behind him in support of every stupid thing that he does." He said frustrated.
"Well, if I remember correctly, you were that annoying kid when you were a freshman." I said, letting out a chuckle, and he glared at me.
"God bless Arthit's heart for having to deal with me. But seriously this kid is even worse." He said frustrated.
"I have to meet this kid, then he sounds awesome. I mean, worse than you screaming in front of all the freshmen and hazers that you were going to make Arthit your wife was epic. You are saying this kid is worse than you? I need to see it with my own eyes." I said, and he glared at me.
"BEAM!" He said frustrated.
"Oh, my dear brother Kongpob you know what they say Karma is a bitch." I replied calmly and he rolled his eyes.
"Yeah well, this bitch is dragging you too because guess what? I talked with your Dean today and he agreed to let me recruit some medical students to assist during Sotus and I can personally choose them. Guess who I chose dear brother." Said Kong smirking.
"You didn't." I said not believing him.
"Oh, but I did. I came to tell you that you are the head of the medical team. I told my boys to set up a tent for you. These kids are about to be punished thanks to that brat so you will have lots of patients. Tell your friends we need about five people. Ah, you also start today. You just have to show up we will set everything else." Said Kong with a smug look on his face.
"You idiot! Out of all the people here you had to choose me! I'm telling Arthit to punish you for being mean to me." I said proud of my idea.
"Jokes on you he already knows and he didn't pity you!" He said and I gasped.
"Ah, you both are traitors." I said rolling my eyes.
"Well, I'll see you later!" He said standing up and leaving. I picked up my things too before heading to class. I used my charm while talking with two of my classmates who agreed to volunteer at the Sotus meeting. When I was done informing them I walked to Phana and Kit who had arrived.
"If you have plans for the evening cancel them." I said and they both looked at me confused.
"What? Why?" Asked Kit.
"Kong talked to the Dean and he let him recruit people to help during Sotus and that idiot just passed down the task to me. I need two more people I already recruited two girls so with you two we make five." I explained.
"Come on seriously! Just use your charm on another couple of girls. They will surely say yes." Whined Phana.
"Shut it Phana I helped you in the moon competition without complaining. Before you start whining too Kit let me remind you I helped you a lot with Ming." I said crossing my arms.
"I wasn't going to refuse." Said Kit putting his arms up in surrender.
"Fine, I'll take Wayo to sushi after Sotus then." Whined Pha again.
When class was over we made our way to the engineering faculty. The activities were outdoors so we walked into the field. At least Kong was true to his word and a really big tent was set up in the corner. I walked to it and noticed it had everything we needed. I nodded feeling satisfied. A girl came and explained everything we needed to know. Now we were sitting down waiting for the activity to begin. Soon we heard the shouts and I stepped outside to see. Kong looked so cool yelling at the freshmen. I couldn't spot the supposedly nothing but trouble freshman yet. Just as I was about to go inside again Kong started to shout.
"You again! Don't you know how to follow simple rules? Forth Jaturapoom stand up." Screamed Kong and suddenly one of the freshmen stood up. He instantly caught my attention. He had a bad-boy look. He looked so cool standing up in the middle of all his classmates.
"I just don't think is fair all that you are doing. You seem to be punishing us and making us do stupid stuff for nothing." Said the guy calmly.
"You think we are just doing this to make fun of you. This has a purpose as we told you before. We are not asking you to do anything impossible. In my time it was worse than this. So be grateful and do what you are told or I am going to ban you from the activity."
"I don't want that. Just be a little more considerate the girls here are already getting tired. We also have a test tomorrow so some of us would prefer to be studying." He replied and Kong seemed to be really mad that he was talking back.
"If you followed orders you'd already be out of here. Now stop wasting my time and let's proceed." Said Kong and I was impressed. That kid stood up to Kong without a care in the world. I kept watching the activities and now Kongpob was punishing them. Having this many people was unnecessary. The freshmen only came to take a break from the hazers mostly none needed medical help. I couldn't even understand why but they were doing push-ups together. Suddenly a commotion started but I couldn't see anything. Soon I saw that Forth kid walking towards the tent carrying a girl. I quickly went inside waiting for them. It didn't take long for them to reach. He sat down the girl on a chair who was crying.
"What happened?" I asked crouching down but the girl didn't answer. I looked at Forth hoping he would explain.
"She somehow twisted her ankle and fell. She started crying when I tried to get her to stand up." Said the guy looking at me straight in the eye. He seemed so concerned. I nodded turning my attention to the girl's ankle.
"May I?" I asked gesturing to her ankle and she nodded. I moved her feet around a bit and she hissed in pain. I noticed it was a bit red.
"She just sprained her ankle. Pha bring her some ice to put on it. Let's see if it starts swelling up." I said. Forth didn't return to the activity just stayed with us in the tent. Ten minutes later Kong arrived.
"I already dismissed them. Is she ok?" Asked Kong worriedly and I nodded.
"Just a sprained ankle." I said and he nodded. I let Kong talk with the girl. Since the activity was over Pha and Kit quickly took the opportunity to leave. I rolled my eyes walking outside the tent for a second so Kong could have a chat with the girl in private. Soon Forth joined me standing beside me.
"You study in engineering too?" He asked curiously and I shook my head.
"No, I'm a medical student." I said and he nodded.
"Oh ok, well I'm Forth." He said introducing himself.
"I'm Beam." I replied.
"Beam I like that name. It suits you." He said and I nodded not saying anything else. At that moment Kongpob got out of the tent with the girl in a wheelchair.
"I'm taking her home thanks for your help, Beam. See you at dinner." Said Kongpob and I nodded watching them leave before going back inside the tent to pick up my things. To my surprise Forth followed me.
"Are you hurt too or something?" I asked grabbing my bag.
"No, but I have a question." He stated and I raised an eyebrow looking at him.
"Ok ask away then." I said.
"Are you Kongpob's boyfriend?" He asked curiously and I laughed.
"Eww no what makes you think that." I said starting to walk to my car.
"He said see you at dinner plus you two seem to be close." He said and I nodded.
"Fair point, anyway not that it's any of your business." I said pausing to look at Forth who was eagerly waiting for my answer. "Kongpob is my older brother." I said and he seemed shocked.
"Wait seriously?" He asked clearly amazed and I nodded.
"Wow, I would've never guessed that. You two are so different! He seems like a devil and you look like an angel." He said and I laughed.
"Yeah don't be fooled though. He's actually more of a softy than I am. Except when he's annoying me and making me come to the Sotus meeting against my will." I said annoyed.
"You should get back at him then." Said Forth and I nodded.
"Oh, I will. I still have an hour before I need to be at his house for dinner so I will come up with something." I said finally reaching my car. I turned to look at Forth who followed me all the way here.
"It was nice meeting you Beam. I wish you were the head hazer instead of Kongpob. I wouldn't mind being punished by you." Said Forth and I laughed. Suddenly an idea came to my mind.
"Forth do you have dinner plans?" I said and he looked at me confused for a second before he realized what I was hinting at and looked at me surprised.
"Do you want me to die?" He replied and I laughed.
"Come on I won't let him do anything to you! I'll do whatever you want!" I said already forming a plan in my head. Forth seemed to be thinking about it.
"I'd be willing to do it on one condition. You can't say no because I know for a fact that Kong is going to try to kill me." He said and I nodded.
"Sure whatever but you better call him Kongpob not Kong or you will be dead even faster for disrespecting him." I said and he nodded.
"Ok, then I'll do it if you agree to go on a date with me." He said and I was shocked. I contemplated it for a second before agreeing. It's just one date I can do that. Beside Kong's face when he sees who Forth coming to dinner with me is going to be priceless.
"Deal." I said and Forth smirked.

Beam's P.O.V.
I went to my dorm room to change and I told Forth to do the same. I am picking him up at his dorm. I took a quick shower before getting dressed. When I was done I headed to Forth's dorm. Once I was there I texted for him to come down. He did after a while. He was dressing casually in some jeans and a black band t-shirt. He looked nice. Typical bad boy look. He got in the car and smiled at me.
"I better not be dead at the end of the night. Or I'll come to you as a ghost and grab your feet." He said and I laughed.
"Well let's hope you make it out alive then." I said backing off before driving away. Kongs and Arthit's apartment was close by so we made it there in a couple of minutes.
"I already want to see Kong's face when you walk in with me." I said grinning. This is going to be epic. I got out of the car and Forth followed me. I let ourselves in since the door was open. I walked to the kitchen where Arthit was finishing the food.
"I'm here." I said when I walked in and Arthit turned to look at me.
"Beam! You're finally here." He said giving me a hug.
"I brought a friend I hope that's not a problem." I said and he smiled.
"Not at all the more the merrier. Hi, I'm Arthit." He introduced himself giving a handshake to Forth.
"Wow! You are the famous head hazer! Nice to meet you I'm Forth Jaturapoom. I'm in my first year of engineering." Said Forth introducing himself and I could see how his facial expressions changed to surprise before he laughed.
"I've heard a lot about you actually." He said before turning to look at me sternly. "Beam what did you do!" He said and I shrugged.
"You said I'm always welcome to invite a date to our weekly dinner." I said and he shook his head.
"I'm so freaking hungry today. Arthit babe is the food do..." started to say Kongpob walking into the kitchen before he was too shocked to continue. He had a surprise look on his face before it turned sour. "What the hell kind of joke is this!" Said Kong and I laughed while Forth gulped beside me.
"I brought a guest to dinner." I said the grin never leaving my face.
"Beam Baramee living room now!" Said Kong furious and I complied walking away.
"Make yourself at home Forth. I'll be right back. Arthit take care of him." I said looking at Arthit who nodded with a smile on his face.
"So Forth sit down I'm almost done with the food. What engineering course are you majoring in?" I managed to hear Arthit say before Kong dragged me away.
"The hell do you think you are doing bringing that brat here!" He said mad.
"I like him." I said and Kong now looked furious about to walk back in but I stopped him. "Not in that way! He just seems fun to have around." I continued quickly.
"Stop playing with me Beam! I have to deal with that brat every day and now you bring him here!" Said Kong trying not to raise his voice.
"That's no way to talk about your freshman mister head hazer." I said and he glared at me.
"Ah you are a brat too I should've expected it to be honest." He said crossing his arms.
"That's what you get for making me help you during Sotus. Besides I see nothing wrong with him. He's just like you who stands up for what he believes in. But he's a much more fun version and actually has the looks to back him up." I said and Kong smacked me in the head.
"Just shut up and let's go eat. Also, stop doing stupid shit to make me mad!" He said walking away and I followed him. We walked to the kitchen where Arthit and Forth were talking animatedly.
"Wow P'Kongpop I don't know why you don't like me! You were worse than me! Saying you wanted to make Arthit your wife! That's why you are the legendary hazers couple. There are so many rumors about you two but the real story is even better than the rumors." Forth said excitedly. I sat beside him and Kong sat across from me beside Arthit.
"Yeah don't tell anybody I didn't want the freshmen to know the story." Said Kong glaring at Arthit who smiled sheepishly. "Also it's not that I don't like you, you just make my job harder." Said Kongpob and Forth nodded.
"It's not my intention though. But I can't help it." Said Forth.
"It's ok let's just forget about it and have a nice meal." Said Kong and I was surprised that he was acting so mature. We all started eating and the conversation kept flowing smoothly. We were all talking and laughing sharing stories while we ate. By the end of the night, I could tell Kong and Forth were on good terms. They kind of understood each other better now. Once we were done it was time for me and Forth to leave. We've already been here for a couple of hours. I gave a hug to both Arthit and Kong.
"See you next week Arthit. I will sadly see you tomorrow Kong." I said when I pulled back and Kong smacked me in the head.
"Thank you for having me P'Arthit." Said Forth politely and Arthit smiled.
"You're welcome to come with Beam anytime."
"P'Kongpob thanks for not killing me." Said Forth and I laughed.
"Ah, you are really a brat." Said Kong rolling his eyes while Forth grinned. "Here I thought I liked you a bit better." Said Kong and we all laughed. "I'll see you both tomorrow. Forth try not to bring that much trouble you give me headaches." Said Kong and we all laughed again. After that, we finally left getting in my car.
"Well, that went better than we expected!" I said happily.
"Yeah, it did, P'Kongpobs face when he saw me was really priceless. I really thought I was dead at that moment. But he was nice afterward. I wasn't expecting that but I had fun. Thank you Beam." He said.
"Hey why do you call Arthit and Kong P' but not me? I'm older than you too!" I said realizing he's been doing it all night."
"Because if I call you P' you'll only think of me as a kid! I don't want that. I want you to think of me as your future boyfriend." He said and I was so surprised I slammed my foot on the brakes.
"Forth!" I said turning to glare at him. "You can't say stuff like that while I'm driving! Do you want me to crash!" I raised my voice a little and he looked guilty.
"Sorry, I didn't know you were going to react like that!" He said and I calmed down before I kept driving.
"Stop saying nonsense we met each other only a couple of hours ago how can you say you like me." I said focusing on driving.
"Love at first sight." He said confidently and I laughed.
"That's not real." I said parking in front of his dorm.
"Oh, but it is! I felt it the first time I saw you while walking into that tent. Anyway, thanks for today I have fun. Also, you owe me a date. I'll text you the details later." He said getting out of my car and I watched him walk away. Before entering the building he turned back to wave goodbye. I drove off after that. What did I get myself into? I thought.

Beam's P.O.V.
I was at the tent again waiting for The Sotus activity to start today. It was only Kit and I since yesterday we didn't have many people come in. I was playing on my phone when someone entered the tent. I looked up to see Forth.
"Hi, Beam." He said and I smiled.
"Hey, Forth what are you doing here? Are you hurt?" I said looking him up and down in search of any injuries. He shook his no a smile on his face.
"I just wanted to stop by to see you before Sotus starts. It was a great decision, seeing you already made my day better." He said and I rolled my eyes.
"Ok, cheese ball get going before you make Kong mad." I said standing up and gently pushing him outside. I couldn't help but smile though.
I wasn't very interested in watching Kongpob yell at the freshmen so I mostly stayed inside the tent where it was cool and I was basically wasting my time on my phone sitting down. But then the yells started to get louder so Kit and I stepped outside to see what the commotion was all about. There I instantly noticed Forth standing up again in the middle of the crowd. I shook my head I really thought he was going to try and be civilized today.
"Ah, you brat again. Do you like being punished or something?" Said Kongpob.
"It was a mistake it could've happened to any of us." Said Forth.
"Then she could've said so why does it have to be you standing up fighting for everyone." Screamed Kong.
"I was just helping her." Said Forth and I sighed he should've stayed quiet.
"She needs to learn how to stand up for herself. You aren't always going to be there for her. I bet you don't even know her that well. So next time just sit quietly like the rest of them. I'm trying to teach you guys a lesson here." Said Kongpob.
"I disagree, I can't just sit by if I can do something about it." Said Forth confidently. Damn, he's fearless. I noticed Kong's patience was running low by his gestures.
"Forth Jaturapoom you are suspended from today's activities leave now." Said Kongpob having enough of Forth.
"But..." started to say Forth but Kong put a hand up shutting him.
"It's final." He said.
"Fine then I'm leaving." Said Forth walking away. What surprised me the most was that all the freshmen started standing up and following Forth. Damn, he surely has them on his side. He's their leader no questions asked.
"What the hell do you think all think you're doing." Screamed Kong and his face was all red. Forth's going to give him a heart attack soon. Forth stopped and all of them did the same.
"I guess they are all on my side? You wanted unity? There you have it." Said Forth and I couldn't help but laugh. If Kong wasn't about to explode from anger I would've clapped. But I don't want to die young. "Let me come back or we all leave." Said Forth and Kong ran a hand through his face.
"Fine get everyone back to their spots." He said and Forth complied. Kong said a few things before dismissing them all. They all started leaving and suddenly Kong appeared in the tent.
"That kid is going to be the death of me." He said throwing himself in the seat beside me and I laughed.
"I freaking love him! That was spectacular! Did you see how they were all going to leave with him? I wanted to clap so badly." I said and Kong glared at me.
"Love you too Doc." I heard someone say and I looked up to see Forth at the entrance of the tent.
"Aish you brat come here! First, you make my life hell and now you're hitting on my brother. I'm going to kill you." Said Kong chasing Forth who was running for his life.
"Beam babe I'll text you the details of our date gotta run for my life now." Screamed Forth running away. I shook my head. I wonder if he really wants Kongpob to kill him. Because it sure seems like it. After a while, he returned. I looked at him curiously.
"Don't look at me like that I couldn't do anything to him. That brat got to his bike faster than the flash." Said Kong annoyed.
"You should just get him on your side and all your problems would be resolved. They already named him their leader. They will follow him so you need to get him to follow you." I said and Kong seemed lost in thought for a second.
"Beam you are a genius! I already know how I'm going to do it. Today I am really really glad you are my brother." He said and I raised an eyebrow.
"Explain yourself right now. I smell trouble and I don't like it." I said and he smiled evilly.
"Well, my dear brother I realized that brat has a weakness after all. He seems to be into you. So that's my way in! I'll give him information on how to court you and help him get you as a boyfriend and in return he will keep the freshmen civilized." He said smirking proudly and I smacked him in the head.
"You are just going to throw me to him. My own brother selling me like this. Unbelievable I won't accept it." I said crossing my arms against my chest.
"Oh please you walked right into that one on your own. I heard you agreed to let him take you on a date if he came to the dinner with you. You basically gave yourself to him already I am just going to help him make his life a little bit easier. It's only a matter of time before you become his wife since you agreed to the date." He said and I gasped.
"Wait wait wait! Who told you I'm the wife? He could be the wife!" I said getting mad and Kong laughed.
"Trust me you're going to be the wife I know that. Just one look at him and you would know. Don't tell me you were thinking differently." He said raising an eyebrow and I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever I am nobody's wife. I am single! This conversation it's pointless. I'm going home see you." I said grabbing my things before leaving feeling embarrassed.
