Chapter Text

Blood. Everywhere he looked at there was only blood.  Why was destiny so cruel to him ? He had never done anything bad to anyone . So ,why was this happening to him . He tightly hugged the two dead bodies in his hand and cried.  Their body felt cold and lifeless.

Sky woke up sweating. That dream again . The day when his whole world felt apart . The day he lost everyone he once love . Even if it had happened 2 years ago,  he still couldn't forget those people who did that to his parents . He woke up knowing that he could fall asleep anymore.

He has graduated high school but he stopped his father studies and  started working multipe part time jobs to pay his dept . He was trying his best to pay them off but the money was never enough.  He was already tired with this life of his .

In the middle of the large hallways there were two people sitting.  One looked young while the other looked slightly older . Both if their face were emotionless and serious .

Nani let out a sight at thd lack if interaction between him and his  father. " Why did you call me here ?" He asks .

" I called you here to tell you that I am gonna hire a personal bodyguard for you."

Nani frowned alittle hearing his father's words but he knows it was pointless.  He was 27 years old . Why would he need a personal bodyguard?  But still he didn't want to have to useless argument with him again . So , he just nodded his head .

" Alright but who us gonna be my bodyguard ?" Nani asks .

" I have a person in mind . I think he will definitely agree." His father says confidently.

That was it . Now that a new bodyguard is gonna come husband every action and every step is gonna be monitored . He didn't want his freedom to go away but what can he do ?

Sky's POV

I came home when he saw that the front gate was opened.  I mentally cursed myself as I rushed inside the house . In front of me was a man who looked a little old with five men behind him . I knew they weren't the debtors but if they aren't the deptors then who are they ?

"Who are you ?" I asked them in a defensive tone.

" Don't  worry.  I am not here to hurt you or anything. I just have a job for you ." He says .

" A random stranger comes to my house and offers me a job . You think I will accept that ?" I said thinking how ridiculous it sounded.

" Listen here , kid . I will pay up all the dept you have if you work as my son's bodyguard " he says.

When he told him he would pay off all the dept I felt like I should agree . But first I need to know who he was .

I asked him" Alright I am ready to be your bodyguard but tell me who you are first? "

" I am Decha Hirunkit ." He tells his name .

Wait , isn't he the billionaire who owns like multipe companies or something.  Why does he want me to work for him , tho ? I won't pay mind to that now .

I am now the personal bodyguard of his son .

Sky's POV

"Where has my life come to ? " was the first thing I thought when I sitting in the car with a bunch of bodyguards. I left that home which still lingers those past memories . The smile , the warmth and the remains of their existence were there.

Now , I am going to start from a fresh beginning and do my job properly.  I may have lost my family but I will make sure I will protect their's.  With a fresh set of determination , I was ready for what the universe had to offer me . I took deep breathe as I look outside the window letting the cool breeze caress my face .

After a while we arrived , I saw a literal mansion infront of me . It looked very majestic  and lavish.  I was guided inside the gates but the view infront of  eyes completely not what I was expecting.  There was no sight of any trees, flowers or anything . It was just barren land and then I entered the mansion and inside it was very neat and posh . It looked really huge and glamorous but felt very empty. There were several rooms in there as I got told to get in the room upstairs to meet the "young master".

I stand infront of the room and take a deep breathe and walk inside . And let netell you as soon as I got inside the room I saw the most unreal and divine human being to everyone exist . He was wearing a sweater giving him a cozy vibe . I was staring at him until he suddenly looked at me for a while but before I could even process that he looked away. Oh god , I hope he doesn't find me creepy .

I hear him let out a cough . Shit . He does find me creepy  or am I overthinking?

" You are my bodyguard,  right ? What's your name? "He asks me with his gentle voice . How much perfect can a man be ? I mentally thought.

" I am Sky Wongravee ." I said maintaing my composure.

" Listen , I don't want you to do.low me around.  So , stay away from me at all cost.  I don't care my dad assigned you ." He says in a angry voice .

"But-" I was gonna say something but he cut me off with a glare. I couldn't anything but nod my head . If I am gonna stay away from him , why did his dad ask me to protect him ? But oh well , what can I do ? He looks so scary and he also sounds  angry and mean . I had no idea my life would end up to this.

The door opened revealing another cold man , his dad , he came into the room as he looks at the both of us . I must kept my hands to the side trying to act professional.

" Nani , this is your new bodyguard from now on and he will be around you at all time . Right, Sky ?" His dad asked me with his usual authorative voice in which I nodded .

Great . Now , Mr.Nani will beat the crap out of my ears.  I sighed seeing those two father and son have internal debates between eachother . But between their fight , why am I the scapegoat? Then , they finished their  internal battle and Mr.Decha asked me to follow him .

He took me to his office and gave me the the necessary instructions about my job here . It doesn't reaction.ly sound bad except tge job requires me to keep check on his activities at his own company which is pretty weird as he is already an adult.  I also found out that he has anthophobia,  a fear of flowers.  How can anyone be afraid of flowers ? I asked to myself .

After the discussion , I was introduced to my room . It was not that big nor too small and a bed between the white walls . There was bed smoothly wrapped with a cotton bedsheet and next to it was a nightstand . I start to unpack all my things.  I took a shower and kayednon my bed rewinding about the events that happened today .

Among all the memories , a single memory lingered more deeply. The memory of him , my new boss and the man I need to protect . I shouldn't think about him too much but I can't help it . He's just so - I don't know what to say.  I am at lost of words for.  Fuck , what am I thinking.  He's my boss and I am his servant . I should be delusional.  I scolded myself as I slowly drift into sleep thinking about my scary boss.

Chapter Text

Roses.

A flower as beautiful as it sounds but if one gets too close it's throne starts to hurt . Deep inside Nani knew that those thoughts were not about the flower itself but someone .

A field filled with roses as they slowly start to wither away ; the only thing that remains is the throns . The throns slowly wrapping around the body making every inch of the body sting .

The throns started to burn all over as the eyes of despair wondr around finding a pond . The eyes glistens but the spark quickly fades as daffodils starts to grow out . Oh, how innocent and pretty they looked but not to fool with it's naive appearance. They slowly poison the land they grew from .He felt his breathe slowly being uneven and the thrkns wrapped around his body be even more tighter .

Nani quickly woke up sweating from that dream . He gets up from his bed and goes outside from his room. He walked down the stairs as he froze there when he saw a unknown person longer in the darkness. His guard was high as he slowly walk towards him . Nani was about to throw a punch at the person but before that the person grabbed both of his hands.

Feeling a sense of panic , he let out a scream but only a muffled sound came as a hand on his mouth stooped the noise . And the last thing he knew , he was pinned at the wall . He took a closer look on who it was and it was none other than his "bodyguard ". He stared into Sky's eyes which still sparkel in the dark room . Nani felt like he was gonna get melted into his gaze .

He was seeing all his features so closely.  Those sparky eyes shining brighter than stars , his nose sculpted by the Greek gods themselves and his lips looking as kissable as always . Wait , did be just say kiss . He quickly brush that off thinking ir as a mere thought.

As for sky , he was on cloud nine.  Getting to hold the person infront of him was a blessing . He didn't know why he felt such a connection towards him but he just let things flow . He couldn't tear away from the gaze .  Not this time.

Nani pushed his hands away from his mouth breaking the tension between them . He glared at the man but in return he just a soft and gentle smile  from him . He gulped a little feeling the distance between them shorten.  He tried to free his hand but the other man's grip was way to strong.  He turned his head to the side avoiding eye contact.

" Let my hand go already " he shouted quietly. After saying that,  Sky quickly retrieved his hands . He gives him a nervous smile as he bows at him and leaves quickly .

Nani ran to his room and locked the door with a thud. He clenched his chest which was beating abnormally . His mind kept wandering back and remembering the scene in the kitchen . The way Sky's hand engulfed his mouth and how he held him. He closed his eyes trying to forget the incident that just happened .

The night came to an end and the sun spread it's light awakening everyone in the mansion. Sky woke up pretty early since it was his official first day . He quickly did his mourning routine and wore a suit . He realized he had to wear the tie bit he didn't know how to . He tried for a few times but he gave up and went downstairs.

The halls were empty and noone was seen but the kitchen was bustling with sound of the stove and different utensils. He went to the kitchen as he saw a middle aged lady cutting some tomatoes in the counter . She noticed his presence. She turned back and gave him a sweet smile to which he returned back with another smile.

She greeted him with a good morning . Her voice was as sweet as her smile . He also greeted her back when suddenly the lady let out a small laugh . She signals towards his messed up tie as he scratches his nape feeling embarrassed. She comes forward and fixes the messed up tie . Sky froze at that action but smiles feeling a sense of warmth at the action .

"Do you need any help?" He asked . She nods as she points at the vegetables left to be cut . One by one everyone started gathering and Mr hirunkit and Nani also reached the dining table .  The food was also ready to be served so Sky took the foods in a tray and went to serve the food .

On the way of bringing the food , his eyes met with Nani's but it didn't last long since Nani quickly turned to the other side .

" Is he mad at me ?" Sky thought .

He served the food on the table and was about to leave when Nani's dad stopped him .

" Sky , you know that you are my son's bodyguard so you have to be with him each and every second . So I thought if you could be his personal assistant too." Mr. Hirunkit says .

" Yes sir." Sky nods his head knowing that his son must be planning his assassination by now .

Nani put his spoon down ." I don't have an appetite." He says as he walks upstairs.

" What a great start ." Sky thinks and he also goes to eat .

After a while , Nani comes down wearing a silk shirt which compliments his skin and pants that hugs his waist perfectly. Sky's jaw dropped looking at the divine angle infront of him .

" Let's go." Nani says as he takes his bag .

Sky nods his head as they leave the mansion . Sky opens the door for Nani and he sits in the driver's seat . After they both sit in the car, he drove to the office . The drive was filed with awkward silence . Finally they reached the office .

As soon as they entered the office ,everyone started to greet them . Sky also greeted them back with a warm smile which made Nani  glare at him .

Nani's office was in the fourth floor so they took the elevator . After that silent ride ,they reached the office . The office was simple yet elegant with no flowers or anything similar in sight and right next to that was an office for the assistant.

" Do you want anything, sir?" Sky asks as he was infromed by the previous assistant that he always drinks a black coffee in the morning.

"No , I don't want anything" he replied coldly .

Sky let's out a sigh but nods his head and continues his work but after sometime he sees Nani constantly frowning . He let's out a grin at Nani's stubborness . He goes out of his cabinet and orders two black coffees.

He brings the coffee and place one in his desk . " I know you don't want anything but I accidentally bought two ." Sky says as he leaves from there . Nani stares at the cup and a smile creeps through his face . Inside  cabinet Sky takes a small sip of the coffee , his face scrunches up due o how bitter it was . " So bitter ." He mumbles .

Both of them start to work as time passed by with a blink of an eye. It was how eleven pm and everyone has left . Sky was also preparing to leave when he saw Nani sleeping peacefully in his chair . He let's out a chuckle at the latter one's action .

He tries to wake him up but Nani just mumbled in his breathe . Sky felt his smile growing . He removed his coat and cover Nani . Sky then gently lifts Nani up making sure he doesn't disturb him . He then walks towards the exit carrying Nani's bag .

Sky places him carefully in the back seat as he drives themselves to the mansion. Once reaching the mansion Nani was still not awake so Sky just decide to carry him to his room . He then reaches the room and softly lays him to the bed . Sky was about to leave to his room when he felt a grip on his wrist .

" Don't go." Nani whispers in his sleep .

Sky's stomach was making backflips at this action . He tries to free himself but deep inside he didn't want to leave him too . Nani pulls him catching Sky off guard as he falls on top of him . Nani hugs him closely feeling the warmth of his body . He snuggles more wanting the warmth to last forever. Sky just gave up as he softly places him hands over Nani's waist and hug him to sleep.

" Maybe,this isn't that bad ."he said.
