For You Have Fallen

Summary:

Irritated is what the Fallen King could think. Year after year, titan after titan. TDS still won. He did everything to change that. He changed his army, he even awakened, multiple times. And still lost. It irritates him to his core. The Commander always knew how to counter. Every single time. He needed to eliminate him, but that was easier said than done. However, from a suggestion from a fellow boss, Commander will fall just like all those who opposed him. And a new army will rise, deadlier from the last.

Can the non-infected TDS members counter them, or will they all fall just like their leader.

(If you seen this on wattpad, then this is the ship verion)

Notes:

Void Reaver is the big boss of all the non-even towers

Also Also, NFK = Nuclear Fallen King (I'm not typing his name out fully and repeatedly)

Chapter 1: His Plan

Chapter Text

The Fallen King stormed into his castle, throwing his sword and shield away from him. "THOSE DAMN TOWERS!" He yelled. He had lost again, even though the towers triggered his awakened form. Commander had still countered it. The memories came flooding back. He fell, glaring at at the Commander with all the hatred in his soul, as the towers began to cheer his demise. His servants cowered away in fear, not wanting to be the target of his violent outrage. "I-No-WE THREW EVERYTHING AT THEM AND STILL LOST!" He shrieked.

"King Fallen," The enraged king looked to see one of his heroes being pushed forward by the others. "Speak," The King demanded. "My king, your brother, Nuclear, is here." The Fallen Hero said. He looked up to see his brother and Nuclear Monster. "Lost again?" NFK asked with his arm crossed. "Why are you here?" Fallen King asked. "I just came to say hello," NFK chuckled. Fallen King rolled his eyes, "And you brought the bull..." Nuclear Monster glared, "Did I have to come with you?" "I don't trust you alone with him and he prefers me." NFK replied. "He prefers you?" Nuclear Monster grunted, "He looks like me when he's at full power, what gave you that assumption." Fallen King looked confused and looked around. "Who are you two talking about?" Fallen King asked. NFK began to smile, "That's why I wanted to come over," He said, "Besides, did you notice that their Accelerator is gone?" Fallen King thought about it. "It's hard to tell with bullet and rockets shooting into me." Fallen King said. NFK walked closer and Fallen King noticed to see a tower on NFK shoulder. They looked infected like the rest of them but something was different. They were wearing a yellow hazmat suit that is torn at the ends, black shoes and belt. They were holding a green plasma gun being connected to canister filled with caution tapes and nuclear waste. "Is that-" NFK answered his brother's question before he could finish, "Yep, it's Accelerator, just been altered to work for me." "I call him Nuclear Accelerator." "Is he even in there?" Fallen King asked. "Yes," Nuclear Accelerator said, shocking the King, "A lot of titans ask that..." His voice seemed soft and hollow. He never knew what that man sounded like but he could tell it's nothing like he would normally.

"How and Why is he like this?" Fallen King asked. "Some special radiation we made," NFK smirked. "More like I made," Nuclear Monster sneered, "You know that you just swooped in the moment I was finished with him." "You wanted to show me your pet?" Fallen King asked. NFK was taken aback. "Don't call him 'my pet' he's one of my soldiers," NFK sneered. "You coddle him and treat him as such," Nuclear Monster scoffed. "I do not and I was involved with his transformation just as you were." NFK retorted. "Whatever you say you touch starved moron." Nuclear Monster scoffed. "Anyways I wanted to tell you that you could do it too!" NFK chuckled. "Really, and who else can do this other than you two?" Fallen King asked. "Umbra, Gunslinger, me and Nuclear Monster, and Vox the Fox." NFK explained, "Vox doesn't really know how to do this considering he's just a kid but everyone else knows what they're doing." "But how can I do it?" Fallen King asked. "Your crystals," NFK said, "Try it out with one of your prisoners." "If you insist," Fallen King said, "You! Bring me a tower prisoner." He pointed at a Fallen Hero. It nodded and walked off. "Why do you assume my crystals is the key to doing this?" Fallen King asked. "Well, have your fallens ever infected anyone with your crystals?" NFK asked. "No, never, it's always through a bite." Fallen king shrugged. "Infect one of your prisoners with a crystal and the results will be different." NFK insisted. Fallen King wanted to ask his brother what made him think that but he knew that the crystals the fallen had were anything but normal. He never really tried that before. So it intrigued him.

The Fallen Hero brought in a civilian tower prisoner, some one ordinary so it won't be such a big deal if what NFK said was false. The civilian begged for mercy. Nuclear Accelerator motioned wanting to help but NFK swayed him not to. "Bring me one of my crystals," Fallen King demanded. A Fallen Hero quickly nodded and ran off. Then swiftly coming back with one of the fallen crystals. "What now?" Fallen King asked. "Uh, stab them with it?" Nuclear Monster suggested. The Fallen King thought about it for a second and shrugged, "You heard him, stab them." The Fallen Hero stabbed the civilian with the fallen crystal without hesitation, ignoring their cries for mercy. Then it happened, the civilian's body began to transform. Their skin became black, their hair became a dark blue, and their eyes turned blue. It was a slow and painful transformation but it turned them into a fallen. "Huh, wasn't expecting it to be that easy," Fallen King said surprised, "Who are you?" The Fallen civilian didn't answer. "Who are you?" The Fallen King asked more sternly. "Whatever you wish to address me as my king," The fallen civilian said. The King smirked at the reply. "Well brother, you might want to send a message to Void Reaver," Fallen King smirked, "I have a plan that will put an end to TDS." "Ooo, this is going to get interesting." NFK smirked.

~The Next Day~

Fallen King was sitting at a table in his dinning room, waiting for his visitor to arrive. He heard the door opened. "My King, the Void Reaver is here." His Fallen Hero announced. Void Reaver walked in and took a seat. "Ah Void Reaver, it's my pleasure to have you arrive so soon," Fallen King said. "Get straight to the point," Void Reaver said, "What do you want?" "Ah right, remember that ability that Nuclear Fallen King has." Fallen King said. "Which one?" Void Reaver asked. "Right, the tower transformation one." Fallen King explained, "Like him, I have it by trying it on my prisoners." "Interesting, I assume you have a plan." Void Reaver grinned. Fallen King smiled, "Of course I do." "We need to do that again, the 50 wave." "My brother has their accelerator and that tower is important to our defeat. Since he's no longer working with them, we can hit them where it hurts and then we send out one of our soldiers to get the Commander and turn him into one of my fallens. I can then slowly turn the rest of his army into fallens." Void Reaver smirked, "I like idea, I'll notify Grave Digger and Molten Boss." "We must prepare for our final battle."

Chapter 2: Time To Go Hardcore

Summary:

This is kinda short lol

Chapter Text

Commander felt off after the battle with the Fallen King, that look in his eyes had pure hatred. It felt like it pierced through him. It wasn't helping that two of his towers went missing. Cowboy and Accelerator. Cowboy left to Badlands for a day and never came back. Accelerator went to Polluted Wasteland for a mission and also never came back. It was bad. He sat down in his office, trying to think about other things until he heard a door open. He looked up to see DJ. The man looked worried and he was holding a plate of food. "You don't haven't left your room in a while," DJ said with a hint of concern. Commander sighed, "Both of them are gone, and I've gotten a call about the Void Reaver." DJ's eyes widen. "We've gotten data that he's coming in a few days..." Commander explained, "We need to train extra hard for this battle." "Go tell everyone that we need to have a meeting at 3pm." DJ nodded and walked over and put the plate of food on Commander's desk. "Alrighty, Comm, but you should probably take a breather," DJ said, "We don't need you to stress yourself out, man." DJ was right. Ever since the disappearance of Cowboy and Accelerator, he's been on edge for weeks. He's been way more strict with everything. He has every right to be this way, but Commander refuses to acknowledge that it wasn't helping him mentally. "Call me if you need to talk, alright?" DJ said while leaving the office. "Alright." Commander replied.

DJ walked down the hallway into the lobby, where most of the towers were at. "Listen up, we have a meeting a 3pm, and it's really important," DJ announced. Ranger shot up from the couch and walked over. "Did they find Cowboy?" He asked with a tiny sparkle of hope in his eyes. "He didn't say," DJ said, "You should probably just wait." Ranger frowned but probably knew the answer. He wasn't coming back...

3pm-Meeting

The tower were chatting about what could be so important. Was it any info on their fellow missing towers? Those type of questions were in the minds of everyone but it was interrupted when Commander entered the room. "Greeting everyone, listen up because this is serious," Commander began to explain, "Today we have info on the Void Reaver," That name tensed everyone up, especially all of the hardcore towers. They've all had some sort of altercation with him in the past, turning them into what they are now. If he's mentioned, it's never good. "He's attacking soon," Commander continued, "We need to prepare now even if Accelerator and Cowboy aren't here." "Without either of them, fighting them will be extremely difficult." "But I do believe with enough training we can do." "Do you all understand?" Everyone answered in a various of yeses and/or nods.

~At Wrecked Battlefield~

Everyone was getting into place, waiting for the battle to start.

(I'm not writing all of that so skip to wave 50)

All he could here was bullets shooting through. However, what happened in wave 48 is still in the back of Commander's mind. When the Fallen King was defeated, he looked smug as he and disappeared. It's like he knew this would happen, it's like he wanted this to happen. He shook his head, they were finally doing it, facing the Void Reaver with out the help of Accelerator. Commander knew it could be done, yes, but they had to be careful or all that training was for nothing. The army waited for the Void Reaver to walk out of there but silence, only hearing DJ's music. DJ's booth was quite close to Commander so he didn't need to radio him. "Uhh, is he coming?" DJ asked. "Be alert," Commander said, "He's trying to catch us off guard." Everyone's weapons were still drawn, waiting for him to appear. Well he did, just not alone. Somehow, after Fallen Kings defeat, he awakened. This was not supposed to happen. "FOCUS ON THE REAVER!" Commander yelled. He'd have to find out what to do next and quickly. 'Damn it, damn it, damn it!' Those words on repeat in Commander's mind. Luckily, they were slowly taking down Void's health. Good but base health was a major concern. At low health, Void Reaver would throw his sword and once that's done, everyone is on edge. That major event came quickly, leading to the Void Reaver to fall and slowly disappear. "Great," Commander sighed in relief to then switching to his usually yell, "FOCUS ON THE AWAKENED KING NOW!". They were chipping at his health but he kept on stomping and stomping. Even held up his shield multiple times. It's like he was timing it too. Whenever Commander would yell, he would either stomp, stunning everyone that wasn't a cliff tower or had no stun immunity, or blocking all of the bullets and missiles with his shield. At least he was at low health now. Then, Fallen King did it. As much as he didn't want, he did it. He threw his sword at the base. It was such a strong throw that it lead to an explosion. A lost to the towers, now, it's dangerous. Why is losing so dangerous? The zombies no longer have to stay on track, they can directly attack the towers. Everyone knew that, it was quiet. The calm before the storm. The TDS army lost the battle, in Fallen King's Awakened form no less. The Fallen King roared in an attack, rushing his fallens at the towers.

Commander was one of the many who were the close to the king. Running away and calling for the tanks to fire at will to stall them until they could escape. Only for him to be tripped by a Soul Boss, spraining his ankle, and getting dragged by an Unknown. "HELP HELP!" He yelled, trying to search for his gun. He heard a gun fire repeatedly at the Unknown. He look up to see DJ with his pistol. "LET GO OF HIM!" He yelled. Even though it didn't die, Commander could get out of it's grasp. DJ ran up and grabbed him, helping him stand up. Commander winced in pain. "COMMANDER'S DOWN!" DJ called. Some towers who heard him, signaled that to others. Only to have fallens rush in and attack. The gun wielding towers focused on the fallen and melee towers went passed the fallens and headed towards Commander and DJ. Brawler jumped and repeatedly punched the unknown. Warden ran up to the two and shielded them. He started to lead them to a humvee. Fallen King got irritated with what was happening and stomped on the ground, stunning everyone except Medic, Brawler, Gladiator, and Warden. Luckily, Medic was able to heal everyone. However, all of the tanks and humvees got destroyed. "Don't worry," Commander said, "I should be able to call a caravan to get us out of here." He reached for his walkie talkie, only it for to be missing. "Damn it..." He muttered under his breath. "Commander, what now?" Warden asked. Before he could say something, a Vindicator rushed in and aimed at the three. It was about to throw it's hammer before Warden stunned it. A light began to appear in front of the three. They looked up to Pursuit leading them away. Fallen King was getting even more irritated. "Send in my flying fallens." Fallen King ordered.

Back with DJ, Commander, and Warden, the three were following the guiding light from Pursuit. "WATCH OUT!" Warden responded by turning around and trying to hit a Fallen Seraph. "What in the..." DJ muttered. He and Commander looked to see multiple Fallen Seraphs about to strike them. Pursuit began to fire at them and signaled to all flight detection towers to fire. With bullets and the smell of bloodshed in the air, DJ looked for any empty space to get Commander to safety. With adrenalin in his veins, he found a spot. A destroyed plane, far away from all the chaos. "Warden, do you think you could get us over there?" DJ asked, pointing to the rusty plane. Warden looked at the path to get there and nodded. "Okay, this is gonna be quick so hold on to Commander." Warden promised. DJ picked up Commander and put him an army carry. "DJ? What are you doing?" Commander asked, very much shocked at what he was doing. "I'm getting you to safety!" DJ claimed, "You gotta trust me on this!" "Okay, do what you need to do." Commander said. Warden got a nod from DJ and to two rushed up the hill. Dodging all of the Fallen Seraphs that swept down. "Pursuit is landing!" DJ yelled, "We have to hurry!" The two ran through the dead grass to the rusty plane. Waiting for Pursuit to land, DJ put Commander on the grass. "What about everyone else?" Commander asked, not wanting to leave any of his men, and women, behind. "Pursuit told everyone what's happening," Warden explained, "Once we leave, so will everyone else." "Good, we need to find out what to do about this..." Commander muttered.

Fallen King watched them from afar, and calling upon his Fallen Angels. "When my king?" One of them asked. "Each of you, carry a soul and order them to attack those two." Fallen King commanded, "Make sure they do not hurt the Commander." "Yes my king," A fallen angel said. The fallen angels grabbed souls, making them also invisible. Flying towards the three towers at the plane. There were set backs. Engineer, Sniper, Mercenary Base's Rifleman, Crook Boss and his goons all noticed and fired at will. Engineer radioed Pursuit's Pilot about her findings. Leading missiles to be fired their way. The Fallen Angels attempted to dodge it but some were still hit, dropping the souls on the ground. However, a few Fallen Angels and Souls got close.

"What's the pilot shooting at?" DJ asked. "I would say something flying but I don't see anything," Warden said. Commander looked closely to see the rebar sticking out of something. "The hiddens can fly!" Commander blurted out, "Warden be on the look out!" The three were on edge, waiting for something to come and strike them. Warden was looking for anything that moved considering he was the only one with hidden detection. Then he saw a soul running towards him. "You two have to leave here," Warden said, "A Soul is coming my way and there will probably be more." DJ picked up Commander in an army carry and ran away. "There's a tank we can hide out at, okay?" DJ reassured Commander. "You know a lot about this place," Commander said. "Well since I'm not the one shooting anything, it gets boring," DJ chuckled, "Besides, anything is better to look at than zombie guts." That received a chuckle in response from Commander. However, the two plunged into silence as DJ ran towards the tank.

Finally arriving at the destroyed vehicle, DJ was finally tired. "I'm surprised you ran all the way here with out taking a single break." Commander smirked, "I guess my training did help you all along." "Haha very funny," DJ replied and placed Commander by the tank. He sat up and leaned on it, with DJ now joining him. "DJ, can I ask you something?" Commander said. "Sure, what is it Comm?" DJ replied. Commander sighed and adjusted himself, "You said you've been looking around the map the whole time since you were board..." "Did you notice how the Fallen King looked when he was defeated?" DJ raised an eyebrow but thought about it for a second. "I mean, I did see him smirk at you," DJ said, "Thought it was weird how he just looked at you instead of all of us..." "I just assumed he was being all high and mighty considering this all happened." A shiver went down Commander's spine. "DJ, you said he smirked at me, right, no one else." Commander said, with a hint of worry in his voice. "Yeah he-oh no..." DJ said but then realized on what was going on, "Comm, did you notice anything different when that Unknown attacked you?" Commander didn't answer but the horrified look on his face said it all. "They didn't kill me outright DJ," Commander said with horror, "They didn't try to kill me, they tried to capture me." It explains everything now, the way how all of the zombies were acting towards them instead of the feral monsters that they are. "I know how they act DJ," Commander said, "They're acting like this because of an order." "An order from the Fallen King?" DJ asked. Commander nodded, "I don't know why he's after me, considering if he wanted me dead, that unknown that dragged me would have done it." Then Commander started panicking. He expects the various titans that the TDS army has faced to want him dead but not captured. It does not paint a pretty picture if that's what the King is doing. "Don't worry Comm," DJ said and he put his hand on Commander's shoulder, "I promise to get you out of here, okay?" (Top 10 words said before disaster) Commander mumbled out and "okay...". DJ began to rummage in his pockets to see if his radio was in there. "Damn..." He murmured. "DJ your radio!" Commander pointed out his radio away from the tank. "It must've fell out while I was running..." The was then crushed by an invisible force.

The two knew what was happening. A hidden had found them. "DJ, you think you can still run?" Commander asked with worry. "I've rested enough," DJ said whiled standing up. He was about to pick up Commander, but was shoved aside. "DJ!" Commander yelled as he was getting grabbed by Fallen Angels. DJ got up as he still had Commander's gun with him. "Commander!" DJ yelled in response, attempting to aim at the flying fallens. Only to be grabbed again but by multiple hiddens. "NO NO NO!" He screamed, trying to get out of their grasp. He watched as Commander was lifted by the Fallen Angels and taken to the Awakened Fallen King. DJ was let go by the hiddens as he watched someone close to him be taken...

Commander tried to get out of the Fallen Angels' grasp but one look down made him stop. He looked back up to see where they were taking him closer to the Awakened Fallen King. He looked to see the King had the same smirk when they defeated him. He opens his hand and signals his Fallen Angels to drop Commander in his hand. Commander falls into the Awakened Fallen King's palm. The King does a battle cry to retreat as then all of his army stops fighting and starts running away from the Towers. He walks off with his Fallen Angels and Seraph leading the way.

TDS had lost their Commander and the Fallen Army gained a new one.
