Chapter Text

I feel cold.

I feel odd.

I feel wet yet warm.

I feel at peace but my body feels uncomfortable, like the feeling that you get when you have a very bad cold or have the flu or something.

I feel a ruckus and vibrations around me. 

Something's happening.

I don't know what's happening but I feel something bad. I felt something move or more accurately, turned over. I felt a large shake and heard a loud crash.

I hear some noises around me as a door of sorts opens in front of me. No, not in front of me. I was in a pod of sorts and I was being let out. As the door to the pod opens the liquid spills out of the pod as I then fall out.

I open my eyes and noticed that I was in a convoy of sorts. I looked back at the pod I was in, it looked like a high-tech sleep bay you see in scifi movies but it also looks medical, like something that belongs in a hospital but it would still be out of place.

I see a pink-ish purple liquid on the floor, which I'm guessing this is the liquid I was surrounded in the pod.

"W-where am I?-HURG!" I curled my body in pain.

My body feels sick, very sick. Like the time I had covid for the first time but still it wasn't this bad. I get up despite the pain I was in and as I get up I hear shouting in the distance. I couldn't make out what they are saying but instead of feeling revealed I felt that I need to get out of there and get away from these people. I don't know why I feel this way. No I do. I need to get away from them and get to my allies-wait what? I don't remember having allies before? How do I have allies?

"HUG!" I grunt in pain. My head is starting to hurt as much as my body. I didn't dwell on the pain as I heard more shouting but a bit closer than before.

"WE NEED TO FIND THE CONVOY, EVERYONE START SEARCHING!"

I feel panic swell up in me as I start to move. I see the doors are, thankfully, opened, probably from the crash, as I ran out the convoy. I see a forest in front of me as I looked around to see the convoy, that was on its side, and see a road above it. It seems the convoy drove off the road and fell into a ditch but the odd thing was that the convoy looked burnt, like it drove through a wall of fire. I then hear some more shouting from above as I then turned to the forest and ran into it.

After sometime of running I fell over in pain and exhaustion after the adrenaline wore off.

"YAHHR!" I try to hold a scream in as I was in so much pain, especially from the running I've done.

I go over and put my body against a tree near me. I don't know why I was in so much pain. I don't know why I feel so sick but I do know why it's because of my Quirk, because of the procedure I went through. The procedure that would grant me enough power to do-WHAT! what was that! I don't know why I thought that. My head hurts even more from thinking about it. I put my right hand on my head as I feel something on my hand. I looked to my hand and noticed a gauntlet of sorts on my hand. I follow where the gauntlet connects and realize that my body is in a high-tech suit. The suit was black with purple-pink glowing lines in various places. I then noticed that I was wearing a mouth piece, which why didn't I notice that earlier? It's literally on my mouth, I guess from all the things that was happening I didn't notice it before.

I look back at my hand to double check something. I see a hole in the palm of my hand. I look at my other hand to see another hole in the palm of my other hand. Why the hell do I have holes in my hands! I was both confused and worried about the holes in my hands as I examined them. The holes aren't bleeding and aren't hurting in any way, it's like they're natural, somehow.

I grunt in pain again as I feel my cells starting to die as I, subconsciously, grabbed something from my left side. I looked at the object which looked like a needle of sorts that had pink-purple liquid inside. I don't know why I grabbed the needle but I feel I need to inject it into my body.

I stab the needle into my right arm, strangely enough the needle doesn't pierce the armor but instead the armor seemed to connect with the needle and let it through the armor, as if the needle and the armor are made to work together which I guess it makes sense since the needle came from the armor. As the pink-purple liquid starting to flow through me it stabilizes my body as the pain starts to go away but I still feel off. I drop the needle to the ground as I let out the air I was holding. I start to breathe in and out trying to calm myself.

After calming myself down I begin to look over my body. "This isn't my body. What is this?" I realized my body is different yet looks familiar, like I've seen it somewhere before.

"Who am I?"

Who am I? I don't know who I am. Memories are starting to flow through my head as I'm starting to remember. I remember being homeless yet I was with a family. I remember nearly starving to death yet eating foods that I liked. I remember having no money yet having enough money to buy what I wanted. I'm Mugen Azuma, someone who was born homeless, never even met my parents, but being born with a powerful Quirk, the power to control the weather but at the cost of slowly killing myself. But I remember a different life. Life without a Quirk, a life with family and friends and not homeless. I'm not Mugen Azuma. I'm someone else who woke up in his body.

My eyes widened as I realized something shocking. I'm in the anime My/Boku No Hero Academia. How do I know that? I'm the villain Nine from the second MHA Movie and I have his memories as if they were my own.

I feel myself start to shake from the shock as I try and process what's happening. I'm in MHA, I'm Nine, I'm.. I'm...I'M!

*Breathe in.*

*Breathe out.*

"Calm down me. Calm down." I say to myself trying to calm down. I successfully calm down and start to think.

'I'm Nine no Mugen Azuma.' An idea just hit me as I looked down at my hands. 'Can I?'

I activate one of my Quirks, Scanning. I feel something 'warming' up within me as I feel energy in my eyes form. My vision changes to infrared-like sight as I see three colors in my hands and throughout my body. One color is red, that's Weather Manipulation, one green, that's the copy of All For One, and one yellow, that's Scanning, which is glowing brighter than the other colors but I guess that's due to the Quirk being active.

Scanning is telling me what's going on in my body. 'My Quirks are fighting each other.' The copy of All For One is trying to take in Weather Manipulation but it's fighting off the copy and that's causing my condition to worsen.

I deactivate Scanning and get off the tree I was on and start walking towards where my allies are at.

I finally can see my allies on a hill and a vehicle behind them with the lights on. I can see them discussing something amongst themselves, probably me. As I was walking towards them they finally see me.

"Mugen!" Shouted Chimera "Glad you finally made it."

Chimera, his real name is Chojuro Kon. His Quirk Chimera makes him look animalistic with traits of different animals. Chojuro retains his humanoid figure, he has blue fur, a wolf-like head, hands, and feet resembling an eagle's talons, and a long reptilian tail. He wears a brown trench coat over a blue dress shirt and jeans fastened with a belt and often has a cigar in his mouth. He styles his dark hair into dreadlocks. I remember Mugen found him running from heroes that didn't like Mutants and saved him. Chimera joined him after that and is very loyal to me.

"We were starting to think you were captured by the heroes or didn't make it." Said Mummy as I walked up to them.

Mummy, his real name is Hoyo Makihara, is a tall, lanky man with pale orange eyes that are baggy and slant forward and straight gray hair. Hoyo wears numerous burgundy-colored bandages, which wrap around every part of his body except his hands and eyes. Over his bandages, he wears a dark gray combat vest, light gray skin-tight pants with beige knee guards, and a set of black fingerless gloves. He wears grey dress shoes with dark detailing and a brown garter belt holding numerous pouches held up by a belt. Hoyo also has a small sword on his left shoulder. The bandages works well with his Quirk, Mummification, which allows Hoyo to manipulate the red bandages he's wrapped in to ensnare inanimate objects that get caught in them and turning them into humanoid red mummies that he can control at will and make them fight for him. I remember saving him from some mid-ranking heroes sometime ago.

"Mugen are you alright? I was so worried about you." Said Slice as she looks over me a bit.

Slice, her real name Kiruka Hasaki, is a young woman with fair skin, blue eyes that slope inwards, and noticeably full, glossy lips. She also possesses straight, shiny red hair with chin-length bangs that partially obscure her right eye, the back part reaching down to her thighs while two front strands are long enough to reach past her feet. She wears it tied together at the ends down her back, the two longer strands left to fall to her knees before looping back up behind her. Kiruka wears a pale purple blouse with frilled cuffs; the collar upturned, and a pearl string necklace of a similar color. Over this is a short, navy blue dress with a collar so low it dips down to her waist and a thick brown belt that's fastened in 3 places around her waist. She also wears dark red gloves and frilled, thigh-high socks of a purple color, a pair of black boots with knee-high protrusions worn over the top, and two bands of red binding them to her calves around the back. Kiruka had a black choker with a small red circle in the center and a black domino mask over her eyes. Her Quirk, Slice, allows Kiruka to move, harden, and sharpen her own hair. She is able to use her hair as blades as well as fire off individual strands of it like needles. I remember finding her alone in her messy apartment and when I was in hiding for a bit. I helped her out and she joined Mugen soon after that.

"I'm fine. The procedure was a success. I got a copy of the All For One Quirk and including Weather Manipulation and a new Quirk I got called Scanning, I can steal seven other Quirks." The group got excited when they heard that.

"But it made my condition worse." The group's mood dampened when I said that. "WHAT! The procedure was supposed to help but it made it worse!" Said Chimera angrily. 

I held my hand up to calm them "Don't worry I've already found a Quirk that can help me. It's called Cell Activation, a boy named Katsuma Shimano has it and he's on Nabu Island." That got the group somewhat excited again.

"But isn't Nabu Island far away? And how did you know about Cell Activation? You said before that there was nothing that can help you?" Asked Mummy.

'Well...shit. I didn't expect him to ask me that. I got to think of something quick.'

"I overheard the doctor talking about a boy with a cellar healing Quirk while I was going through the procedure and while yes Nabu Island is far away but we can get a boat to get there and before we go we'll gather some quirks." That answer seemed to calm Mummy.

I turn around to the city behind us. I activate Scanning and see various 'heat' signatures and colors in the city. "Our time will come, my friends. It will come soon."

All For One Copy: Allows the user to take the Quirks of others through the holes in the palm of the users hands. The user can use the Quirks they have taken or give those Quirks to others. The user can steal nine other Quirks.

Chimera: Grants the user the characteristics of various animals, enhancing these traits and allowing the user to even enlarge them to monstrous proportions. This results in a tremendous boost in strength and durability through the animal trait's function.

The user's main and permanent form seems to be a blue werewolf. The user can also gain the characteristics of birds, lizards, and even a dragon, as seen when they expel fire from their mouth; the fire can also be shot in the form of a large beam of energy.

POV Kyudai Garaki

I was sitting, thinking, in my lab about the news I had just received.

I scowled in both anger and frustration.

My latest experiment, number 9#, had escaped due to some heroes interfering with the transport. How did the heroes even find out about him!? And what's worse that the heroes had captured the villains that were taking the transport to one of my labs. That could lead back to me and my master, which wouldn't be good.

I got up from my chair and started to walk around my lab, it always calms my nerves if I were to walk around a bit in my lab with all of my creations. As I walk down a hallway to my main storage of Quirks I have collected over the years, I think back to number 9#.

Number 9# or subject Mugen Azuma, was a special case. He has the power to control the weather, a god-like Quirk and if I could, I would have given it to my master but due to the Quirks cellar deterioration and my master's condition I couldn't give him it sadly, I know the master would have liked to have that Quirk. Mugen Azuma was one of those might makes right fellows which makes sense given his Quirk but I personally think he's crazy and a fool.

I stopped over some tubes with special chips inside that housed Quirks. Rivet Stab, Radio Waves, Super Regeneration, Air Cannon, Springlike Limbs, and many more Quirks that I've either copied or taken from various people or were given by my Master, All For One. Copying Quirks is something I'm proud of creating but sadly takes a while to copy said Quirks and the copies are much weaker than the original.

I then thought back to my master or specifically his Quirk, All For One a power to steal the Quirks other individuals, use those said stolen Quirks, or give those Quirks to other people. A very fascinating power.

The reason I gave number 9# a copy of my master's Quirk is because I was curious about something and I guess trail run for when I transfer my master's original Quirk to his 'successor' Tomura Shigaraki and to take over his body, which I hope he doesn't get that brats vocabulary when he takes him over that would be difficult to handle. I was curious how a copy of my master's Quirk would handle in another body and it worked, it worked! I made it that number 9# can steal up to nine other Quirks and that's not including his original Quirk, Weather Manipulation, and a newer Quirk I gave him called Scanning.

'To have number 9# escape is unsettling to say the least but how did he get out? It's not like he can tip the heroes where was going...but his file did say he had allies.... Damnit!' I cursed mentally. 'His allies must have tipped the heroes off of where he was going!'

I then calm myself down 'He won't live long, the procedure made his condition worse and there's no Quirk that can save him. I would say he would last a month at most.'

I put my hands on one of the Quirked chips and thought 'This is for my Master, my Savor, MY GOD!'

POV ???

Where am I?

I was in void of sorts. I can't really see anything in the far distance and I can't turn to look around. It was like I was stuck in place, being unable to move or talk but only to see.

I then hear someone shouting in the distance, I can't make out the voice but for some reason it was familiar.

I tried to turn my head to the voice but to no avail. I did it again but it didn't work. I did it again and I moved a bit! I did again and I moved a bit more than before. I did one more time and as I was about to see who the voice belonged to but a bright light appeared and enveloped me.

"Huh was that?" I say as I was beginning to wake up.

"Mugen! Are you alright?" Asked Slice who was sitting next to me. Slice started to check me over.

"Yes I'm fine but what happened?" All I could remember was saying to my allies that our time would come and then darkness.

"After you were done talking you suddenly just fell over but thankfully Chimera caught you just in time and we are currently on the move."

I think on what's going on and see that I'm in a moving van of sorts or more accurately a truck mixed with a van. I was laying down on the ground with a thin mattress with a pillow and a thin blanket on me. Next to me was Slice, who was sitting on the ground. I also see a window with a black tent on it that prevents you to see on either side, like the ones you see in limos, and I'm guessing Chimera, who's probably driving as well, and Mummy behind the window.

Slice then handed me a phone and I responded with a curious look. Seeing my bewildered look Slice explained "You said that you wanted to gather some Quirks before we go to Nabu Island so I decided to look for some heroes with Quirks that you might be interested in."

I nodded and then looked at what was on the phone. It was a list of various heroes that were currently in Japan and there were quite a few interesting Quirks on there. There wasn't a whole lot of info on the hero's Quirks but that makes sense due to the risk of villains learning about the hero's weakness.

I see some familiar Quirks nine had used during the movie Bullet Laser, Air Wall, and Hydra. Bullet Laser and Air Wall I might get and Hydra might be useful but I can get better Quirks than that.

I stopped at a name that surprised me, Captain Celebrity. A high ranking American Hero in Japan. I don't know much about Captain Celebrity since I didn't read Vigilantes but heard it was good though. I do know what his Quirk is Flight. Given the name, Flight allows the user to levitate and fly at high speeds but not everyone knows that this Quirk also grants the user an aerodynamic barrier that covers them and protects them from heat, cold, and physical harm (I think the barrier is what grants the user flight but I'm not sure). The user can even control how much of what or whom the barrier protects. The barrier also grants them super strength that's close to All Mights.

I really want that Quirk, it's so useful and it would replace Air Wall due to it having better protection and having great mobility with super strength on top of that. Getting the Quirk would be difficult... unless I were to get a mental Quirk of sorts to attack him with.

Hmm...but mind-base Quirks are difficult to find and finding a powerful one would be very hard. So many things can go wrong.

I glanced at the date for a moment before stopping, blinking, and then looking back at the date to make sure I didn't read it wrong. The date (and what my memories were telling me now) is four months before the entrance exam at U.A....This changes a lot of things.

'I must be in a different timeline from canon.' I realized. Well...shit due it being a different timeline the meta-knowledge would be probably useless and that can fuck me up in the long run. Nine in the original timeline had taken the procedure before the Training Camp Arc and awoken before the final war against the Paranormal Liberation Front begins but in this timeline Nine had gained allies before the start of the anime and had taken the procedure around, if my memory is correct, the slug villain attack happened.

A thought then crossed my mind 'Why don't I take Cell Activation?'

Why don't I take Cell Activation? There's really nothing stopping me from taking it (there's no heroes stationed at Nabu Island, it was also stated in the movie and my memories also tell me that) but knowing how this world works, somehow a hero would suddenly appear and stop me from taking Cell Activation. It could be a random hero that we haven't seen in any series, a villain we haven't seen, somehow class 1A, Izuku Midoriya, All Might, or god forbid Stars and Strips.

I need more power before taking Cell Activation, just in case. I then remember someone, a pro hero named Compass Kid. Compass Kid's Quirk, Pointer, allowed him to point in the direction of people, places and things that he was looking for. In order to use his Quirk, Compass Kid needed to spin in place before his limbs pointed toward what he needed to find. A very useful Quirk but sadly he died to number 6 but doesn't Compass Kid have kids?

I marked Captain Celebrity and some other Quirks that can be useful and looked up Compass Kid. The stuff I found on Compass Kid was just about his death and that he was a great hero and it was tragic and such. I did find some information on his kids and it's quite sad. The oldest kid, a girl, had a Quirk like his. Her Quirk is named Pointer, out of respect for her father but the Quirk is so much more powerful than Pointer actually was. From what I can gather Pointer, will show the user where the thing they are looking for with no limit to the range. That Quirk would make things a whole lot easier in the long-run but the sad thing is that the girl, Hōkō Hario has stage four cancer in her lungs and is going to die soon. She is currently at a Hosu Hospital.

'Damm she's only 14 too.' I thought sadly before shaking my head 'No, I can't think about that, I've got a job to do.' I looked up where Hosu Hospital is at and marked it as our next location. I hand the phone back to Slice as she looks it over and then pulls back the window and hands to Chimera who nodded and put the phone down as he started to drive in the direction of the hospital as then Slice closes the window.

Slice sits back down next to me. "Slice wake me up for when we get there." She nods as I lay back down and close my eyes as I quickly fell asleep on the thin mattress.

Bullet Laser: Allows the user to fire purple-colored lasers from their fingertips, which they could fire both as direct blasts, as well as curve said beams straight from their fingers. These lasers were strong enough to easily pierce through flesh, as well as destroy an entire house and large boulders. They could also explode upon contact.

Quirk Type:Emitter

Air Wall: Lets the user create circular shields made of compressed air from their hands in order to shield themselves. These barriers are strong enough to withstand powerful attacks. The barriers can be layered for greater protection, and the user also has the ability to create a dome barrier around themselves to guard against attacks coming from different areas. The user can also use the shield to blast people away or fire powerful bursts of pressurized air able to knock down and even stun the opponent.

Hydra: Allows the user to summon gigantic sea snake-like creatures from their back that they can control at will. The creatures are large enough to crush a person in their jaws. The user can also use two snakes to lift themselves in the air.

Cell Activation: Allows its user to activate the cells in their body or another person's body through touch. This increases regeneration, recovery time, and can even improve physical condition.

Rivet Stab: Allows its user to generate black tendrils that have red prominent cracked lines that extend from the users' fingers, although they can also emerge from other parts of the body such as the spine. The user can decide whether or not the Quirk can cause harm.

Quirk Type:Transformation

Radio Waves: Allows the user to emit an electromagnetic pulse of radio waves to disrupt electrical appliances and cause communicators to malfunction. The Quirk can also be used to transmit waveforms through an induced current, allowing for communication. Besides disruption of electronic appliances, Radio Waves' waves are capable of exerting strong forces, allowing them to parry strong attacks or push enemies back with ease.

Quirk Type:Emitter

Super Regeneration: Gives the user the ability to regenerate any sort of injuries on their body, such as missing limbs, at incredible speeds. The Quirk cannot heal injuries that have already been cauterized by the time the Quirk is received or activated. The Regeneration can also be nullified if the user is beaten by their opponent faster than the Quirk can heal them.

Quirk Type:Transformation

Air Cannon: Allows the user to release a devastating shockwave of air pressure from the palm of their hands. The shockwave can manifest in different forms, depending on the motion the user's arms follow when releasing it. The blast's shape can range from a straight, concentrated air shot to a wide, crescent-shaped air blade.

Quirk Type:Emitter

Springlike Limbs: Allows the user to store and release force by coiling their muscles, akin to a coil spring.

Quirk Type:Transformation

All For One: Allows the user to steal Quirks from anyone they touch for personal use or transfer the stolen Quirks to anyone. It also allows the user to wield several Quirks simultaneously. Giving and taking away Quirks is done through touch, through a hole in the palm of the user's hand, once it receives contact.

Quirk Type:Emitter

Flight: Allows the user to levitate and fly at high speeds. The Quirk covers the user and whatever they are in contact with inside an aerodynamic barrier that protects from heat, cold, and physical harm. The user can control how much of what or whom the barrier protects. The aerodynamic barrier also grants the user superhuman strength that's close to All Might's strength.

Quirk Type:Emitter

Pointer (Compass Kid): Allowed the user to point in the direction of people, places and things that they were looking for. In order to use their Quirk, the user needed to spin in place before their limbs pointed toward what they needed to find.

Pointer (Hōkō Hario): Allows the user to find anything they are looking for with no limit to the range.

Slice had woken me up when we got to Hosu Hospital. Hosu Hospital is a big building and from what I can gather, a very decent hospital. Me and my allies were currently hiding in an alley where we parked our truck at. "How are we going to get in Mugen?" Asked Mummy, his arms crossed. Chimera and Slice were beside him waiting for me to answer. 'How are we going to get in?' I thought.

I can't just walk or any of my crew either because of two things, one: my crew are notoriously known A-Rank villains and they would be instantly recognized on the spot, while two: I can't go in because I would stand out like a sore thumb, even though I wouldn't be recognized, due to my suit covering most of my body and a bit of my face (though they could probably recognize me from eyes and hair but you would have to be looking for those or have met me before).

As I was thinking I saw a hospital worker was near the building on the phone with someone. 'Huh, how convenient.'

"Guys I have an idea."

POV 3rd Person
The nurse was currently talking to someone on his phone. "Yeah I know. Yes mom I know to get your meds please stop asking me....yeah yeah."

The nurse starts to get frustrated as he pinches the brim of his nose "Mom...Ok mom I'll get it, please stop talking to me....Alright I love you. Bye." The nurse then hung up the phone and looks at his phone. "Geez that woman needs to realize when I'm at work don't talk to me."

As the nurse was about to put his phone away a red cloth wrapped around his hand and phone "Huh!? What the f-" The red cloth suddenly pulled the nurse with a strong force and fast speeds "Woah!" The nurse was being pulled into a nearby alleyway.

The nurse landed on the hard pavement. "Oof! What was th-" before the nurse can finish his question he was punched in the face by a large, furry hand, knocking him out cold.

POV ???

"That worked." Said Chimera as he looked down at the unconscious nurse.

'Geez, I hope Chimera didn't hit him too hard.' I thought. 'But then again Chimera does know how to pull his punches.'

"Good work Chimera and you too Mummy." I say as I said that Mummy and Chimera became happy for helping me. I look over the unconscious nurse and found a roll of bandages, medical gloves and masks, and some personal items on him.

After taking all of the nurse's personal belongings and other stuff he has and putting them on the ground nearby I got a bit curious and activated Scanning and saw a yellowish color.

'Hmmm. A healing Quirk, not very strong nor is it useful.' From what Scanning is telling me, the nurse's Quirk is a healing Quirk of sorts and can only heal small injuries, not really helpful in the long run, plus I do plan on getting a better healing Quirk in the future.

I deactivate Scanning and started to take the nurse's clothes albeit leaving him in his underwear. After removing his clothes I put them on and I was now wearing white shoes, scrubs, medical gloves, and have a medical mask over my....mask? Or would it be called a mouthpiece? Anyways I then used the medical bandages to wrap around anything that shows my suit, which was a lot. (Even put them on my tubes on my back!) Which I got help from Slice and Mummy to put on the medical bandages.

"Slice hand me a hair bungee." Slice hands me a hair bungee and I used it to wrap my long white hair into a bun.

"Mugen what are you going to do?" Asked Slice as she was both curious and worried.

"I'm going to sneak into the back and get the Quirk I need and get out of there quickly." I answered as I grabbed the nurse's id that was on the ground with the rest of his stuff.

"But what if someone sees you. You're not exactly subtle." Mummy question and that was a pretty good question....that I have an equally good answer.

"While I can say appearance is due to my Quirk and I need to have bandages on to help me with my Quirk." 'And hope no one sees me.'

...

"Mugen... that's...um...I don't know what to say...." Mummy couldn't find the right words for my awesome plan and the same goes for the others too.

"Anyways if something were to happen I can send a distress signal on one of the burner phones we have." That answer seemed to calm their nerves down a bit.

As I was about to leave I was stopped by a gruff voice. "Mugen what do we do with him." Said Chimera as he nudges his head towards the unconscious and tied up nurse.

'Do we kill him? No, he's just a nurse and not really a big threat to us. Even if he wakes up he won't be able to call any heroes for help.' "You three keep an eye on him and watch out for any heroes and warn me if there is any trouble." Chimera and the others nod in agreement as I then accepted a spare burner phone from Slice.

I turned from them and walked towards the back of the hospital and used the nurse's id to unlock the door. I open the door and walk in the Hospital as I let the door close behind me.

I was currently walking down a hallway with various rooms around me. 'Where is she?' It's been about ten minutes and I can't find where she's at and the information I got online didn't tell me where her room was. 'Dammit this is starting to get annoying.' I thought irritated with how much time I'm wasting since a hero could show up anytime and screw me out of getting a very useful and needed Quirk. I can't use Scanning since I need to see the person to read their Quirk (which is ironic considering I'm trying to get a Quirk that would negate that problem). After another minute or two a thought went through my mind, 'Maybe I can ask for directions?'

I start to walk towards the nearest person I see, which happened to be a guy who looked to be the janitor of the hospital. "Hey can you help me? I'm lost and I need to find a room."

"Sure I ca-" The guy was saying as he turned to look at me and stopped mid sentence when he saw me. A minute later the guy is looking at me, he ain't scared but curious as if he was trying to remember something or someone.

"Hey." I said snapping the guy out of whatever trance he was in. "Huh? Oh sorry, it's just, it's like I've seen you somewhere before but I can't put my finger on it. Have we met before?"

I start to sweat a little. 'Oh shit! I can't have him find me out.' "N-no *ahem*. No I don't think we have met before and I'm a new doctor that just transferred here and I need to find a patient's room." I say as I hope that he doesn't recognize who I am.

"Hmmm..." The guy said thinking hard about something as I sweat even more.

"Ok." The guy shrugged as I was about say few but caught myself from doing it out loud. "What room do you need?"

"I need to find Hōkō Hario, I need to speak with her." That caught the guy by surprise "Compass Kid's daughter? Why do you want to speak with her?" He asked.

"I need to talk to her before she passes and see to her will."

"Hmm.... Ok, she's on the second floor in room 209. Poor kid, was going to be a hero like her dad then got cancer before she could even try." I nod and walked towards a nearby stairwell and walked up to the second floor. It took me a few minutes but I eventually found room 209.

I walked up to the door and grabbed the handle as I let out some breath, mentally preparing myself for what I'm about to do.

I cracked the door open and saw no one inside so I opened the door the rest of the way and to see a heart breaking sight. I saw a young girl, who looked about 14, with short blonde hair, wearing hospital garments, and has various medical devices connected to her, presumably to keep her alive.

I go into the room and close the door behind me as I then lock said door. I start to walk towards the sleeping Hōkō Hario. 'Am I about to do this? To steal a sick girl's Quirk? But I need to do this, I need her Quirk.' When I'm just over her I raise my hand and reach for her face as the hole in my hand glows a green color as I activate the copy of All For One to steal Hōkō Hario's Quirk. At any moment I would steal her Quirk. In just a second I would have a Quirk that would help me out greatly in the long-run. Any second no- "Dad?"

A weak, young voice stopped my train of thought as I see Hōkō Hario wide wake with my hand just above her head, inches away from touching her and taking her Quirk. I pull my hand back as I deactivate the copy of All For One as the hole in my hand stops glowing green.

"D-dad? I-is that you?" Asked the weak, Hōkō Hario as she looks at me in eyes, her blue eyes filled with the mixture of exhaustion, sadness, and hope.

'She thinks I'm her dad.' She's hallucinating, probably due to the cancer in her lungs affecting her breathing, which is causing the oxygen not going to her brain properly. Guilt starting to fill my chest as I look into her eyes.

I then got an idea. 'Should I do that?' I continue to look into her blue eyes. 'Am I really going to do this?' I mentally sigh, 'I'm really going to do this.'

"Yes, honey it's dad. I'm here." The gir-Hōkō's blue eyes widened as hope and happiness filled them. "Dad." Hōkō would have probably jumped and hugged me if she wasn't so sick. I grabbed a nearby chair, scooted it up, and sat down in the chair.

Hōkō looked so happy as the guilt began to build up within me. Why am I doing this? Why don't I take her Quirk? But I can't. I can't take a sick girl's Quirk, that would make me as bad as All For One. At least I should do this for her before taking her Quirk. Hōkō deserves that much.

"Dad." Her voice takes me out of my thoughts, "D-did I make y-you proud?" Hōkō asks with a desperate and longing look in her eyes. This...This is breaking my heart. "Y-yes you did honey. You made daddy proud." I answer with a slight waiver in my voice at the beginning, this is starting to affect more than I thought.

Hōkō smiled a bit and her sickly, pale face lit up when I said that. "D-dad. I wanted to be a h-hero l-like you." I smile softly at her under my two layered mask as I respond "You are a hero, Hōkō. Just like your dad."

Hōkō smiled more. "Did I save them dad? Did I s-save t-them fr-om t-them bad hero?" Hōkō asks with wheezes in her words now.

I was confused but I didn't show it. 'A bad hero? I didn't see any reports about a hero and Hōkō, unless....' I didn't dwell on that thought any longer as I need to talk to Hōkō right now. "You did Hōkō. You saved them from the bad hero."

The light in Hōkō's eyes start to dim, "That's g-good."

"T-thanks dad for e-everything." I get up from my chair and hug Hōkō as the light starts to fade more from her eyes. "Dad~" I then feel Hōkō slump in my arms as the heart monitor starts beeping rapidly, both signaling that Hōkō Hario is dead.

I let go of her to see her lifeless eyes staring back at me. I then closed her eyes, with two of my fingers, to give her (and me) a sense of peace. I then feel wetness on both of my cheeks. 'I've been crying.' I realized. I was crying over a girl that wasn't even my own daughter and yet....here I was crying over her, a girl I couldn't help even if I tried.

I didn't have the power to help her. 'And yet, isn't it your goal to get power?' a thought crossed my mind. 'No, yes, maybe, I don't know! I don't even know what my goal is!'

I then realized 'I don't even know what my goal is.' What is my goal? I know I'm not Izuku or All Might going around saving people like a superhero but I'm not a dick like All For One or Overhaul (though Overhaul is less evil than AFO). I don't want to be a hero, yet I don't want to be a villain that hurts people for fun. I want to help people, to change the world for the better, society for the better but in this society, in this world, people only care for Quirks, power, or/and status. It sickens me how this world is run. People with Mutant-Type Quirks are treated as monsters, people with 'Villain-like' Quirks are treated like their evil, then there are the people with usless Quirks or don't even have a Quirk at all are treated like there is nothing, a waste of space. Nine saw such instances when was on the streets (one of my allies is a Mutant Quirk user after all). No wonder there are people like Shigaraki out there wanting to destroy society, it SUCKS!

Nine, Mugen Azuma, wanted to cure his condition to use his Quirk, Weather Manipulation, to its fullest power without any drawbacks, to destroy society and then build it back up to where everyone in his world can rule but I know that won't work. It would take more than destroying a couple of cites just to remake society, you need people that would follow you and help you in need, the resources to build said society, etc.

I clenched my fist as I looked at the recently deceased body of Hōkō Hario and the memories of my allies flashed through my mind. The things I've been doing have been reactionary, mostly trying to survive, but now I know what my goal is. I will destroy society and build a new one but not like Mugen was, not like Tomura tried in canon (or will attempt to do in the future) but in my way, I will get power, get more allies, cure my condition, get resources, and rebuild society in my image, a world where no one is mocked for looking different, for having weak or no power, a world where people won't constantly rely on their Quirks. That's my goal now. The goal is to change the world for the better no matter the cost. Like they say in the MCU, Whatever It Takes.

...'And I'm taking too long.' I realized. At any minute now someone could come in here and see me and that would be bad. But hey, at least I know what my goal is now.

I wipe away any left over tears as I grabbed Hōkō's head and activeate my copy of All For One. Green energy came off Hōkō's dead body and is going into me (like how All For One is shown taking Quirks or like Nine did in the second MHA Movie), after a moment the green energy dissipated as I felt the Quirk 'slots' itself into my body. I then deactivate All For One as I let go of Hōkō's head and walked towards the locked door. I unlocked the door, opened it, and walked outside and closed the door behind me as I walk down the hallway to the stairwell and while I was walking I heard shouting from behind me and multiple foot steps running in, what I presume, Hōkō's room.

'There's not a lot of people here.' I thought as I walked down the stairwell, down the hallway, and out of the same back door I came through earlier. I walk towards and then down the alley way where my allies are at and to see....

"What the fuck." I say out loud as I see a very comical scene right in front of me. I see Mummy is pinned to the wall by sharp hair pieces (probably Slice), Slice on Chimera's back, and Chimera has the nurse from earlier (he also has a black eye now which I guess that was from earlier) by his underwear, essentially giving him, by the looks of it, a painful wedgie. They all stopped what they were doing and looked at me with wide-eyed expressions. The nurse then tries to get out of Chimera's grasp when everyone was distracted by me showing up but that caused Chimera to snap out of the shock.

"No you don't!" Chimera punches the nurse in the face (probably giving him another black eye) and knocking him out cold as Chimera let him go and let him fall down on to the pavement, hard. Slice then helps Mummy off the wall and makes sure he's fine. "What happened while I was gone?"

"Well you took a while so we started to play games, mostly Truth or Dare but it got out of control." Answered Chimera.

"Got. Out. Of. Control? How did Truth or Dare get out of control?"

Mummy then responded "About ten minutes in, I asked Slice Truth but she wouldn't reply to what it was and when I did Dare instead, she wouldn't do it and we got into an argument and we'll, I got stuck to the wall."

"Ok but how did the nurse nearly escape?"

"Well after I stuck Mummy to the wall, the nurse happened to wake up and somehow got out of his bonds but not his gag thankfully but then tried to escape without us knowing but Chimera saw him trying to escape. Me and Chimera then chased him all around the alley and it lasted about two to three minutes I think, and when we finally caught him you showed up." Slice answered sheepishly.

I took a moment to process what I just heard.

I sighed and rubbed my temples "Ok, fine. Y'all are lucky a hero didn't show up, that would have caused more problems than what it's worth." I then start removing my hospital clothes, now leaving me in my super suit and putting said clothes next to the knocked out nurse.

"Let's go." I said as I start walking towards the truck. My allies started to follow after me. "Hey, Mugen why did you take so long? It was about 20 minutes since you left." Asked Mummy. I stopped walking and thought for a moment and then responded "It took me a bit to find the room." Mummy looked off put by my answer but seemed to let it go as I continued to walk.

As I was about to get into the truck I remembered something "Hey Mummy, what was the Truth and Dare you asked Slice?"

Everyone stopped when I said that. Mummy didn't answer my question as Slice glared at him while Chimera smirked knowingly.

"I uh nothing, it was a stupid Truth and Dare." said Mummy as he was sweating bullets by Slice's glare.

"Hmmm...Ok." I shrugged as I didn't think that was important to know. Mummy looked relieved after I said that as Slice stopped glaring at him while Chimera shook his head back and forth with the knowing smirk still on his face.

We get in the truck, me and Slice in the back, Chimera in the driver's seat, and Mummy in the passenger's seat. "Where to Mugen?" My eyes glowed an orange color as I activate my new Quirk "To find someone with a mind Quirk."
