Chapter Text

Adam blinked, him and Jonah got into another argument and know he is alone, again. He turns on the flash light on his phone and walked around the house, at least he might be able to pay for a bus ride home, if that still happens. For what felt like hours Adam walked around the empty house until he found a door that seemed to be locked. Adam opened the door, to his surprise the door was unlocked, that was the mistake. He walked into the room and waved his phone around until he felt a weird feeling that he only feels when someone or something that could hurt him was close. He looked up but froze in place, who stud in front of him was Gabriel. Adam tried to get away from him but Gabriel grabbed onto his arm and started dragging Adam out of the house. Adam tried to get away from Gabriel but couldn't get away. Soon after Gabriel stopped walking but still held onto Adam's arm, Adam looked over only to see Alt.Jonah, that monster attempted to ruin his life and wouldn't stop until he was dead. Out of nowhere Gabriel pushed Adam over to Alt.Jonah who grabbed onto one of his arms and tied it onto a wooden pole. He froze again, Gabriel pulled out a lighter and set the pole on fire, burning Adam's whole hand and a small part of his arm. Adam let out a pained screech as he tried to get away from the fire, but his hand was tied up and wouldn't let go. Soon after Gabriel and Alt.Jonah walked away leaving Adam to hopefully die.

Jonah driven down to the house that they knew Adam was in, they couldn't leave him again. They suddenly heard screeches from the woods that sounded like Adam which made them pull over fast. They immediately got out of the car and followed the screeches to where they found Adam, who looked like he was attacked by multible alternates all at once. Jonah immediately ran over to him and saw that Adam's hand was tied to the burning wooden pole. They grabbed a water bottle from their back pack and poured the water over the fire quickly. As soon as the fire was out they untied Adam's hand from the pole, god the burns where bad. "This is bad." Jonah said, their voice shaking. Adam just kept on crying. They helped their boyfriend to the car where they got into the drivers seat, to hell with not being able to drive, Adam was hurt and needed to be home. They ignored the speed limit, almost being pulled over five times as they rushed Adam home. As soon as they got home Sarah stud outside. "What happened?" She asked. "Adam was burned badly." Said Jonah while trying not to cry themself. Sarah quickly brought Adam inside while Jonah sat down outside, trying not to cry but failing, this was all their fault. Soon after though they fell asleep forcing Sarah to drag they inside.

Chapter Text

Adam was back in the forest again, his hand tied up to the wooden pole. Alt.Jonah set the pole on fire, burning Adam's hand and a small part of his arm, but instead of Gabriel and Alt.Jonah leaving, they stayed. "This is your fault." Sneered Alt.Jonah. "This and Jonah's death, all because of your stubbornness!" Adam was crying as he tried to get away. "You are lucky that this is all we done to you, we could have killed you if we wanted!" Said Gabriel clearly pleased with what he and Alt.Jonah did. "Stop! Please! I'm sorry it's all my fault because! Now please let me go!" Cried out Adam. Alt.Jonah walked over to the young alternate and pushed him over, quickly snapping one of his legs in halt. Adam screeched in pain as Alt.Jonah snapped his other leg in half. Alt.Jonah and Gabriel walked away but not before Alt.Jonah broke Adam's arm, leaving him to die in the forest.

Adam opened his eyes, it was just a nightmare, but that didn't stop him from starting to cry. Tears rolled down his face as he buried his face into his hand, why must his nightmares be this bad. He felt a hand rubbing his back and when he looked over he saw Jonah, this was embarrassing. Jonah gave Adam an understanding look, clearly understanding how he felt. Adam clasped into Jonah's arms, sobbing uncontrollably as Jonah tried to comfort him. Adam started falling asleep which calmed him down a bit, but he was still really upset. Finally after a few more minutes Adam fell asleep fully, luckily having a better dream.

Chapter Text

Jonah and Adam where sitting on the couch, watching a random tv show that was on it.but when there was a sudden knock on the door. "Tag you're it!" Said Adam as he tapped Jonah on the shoulder, it was kinda a tradition to do that when someone was knocking on the door. Jonah got up and looked over to see Adam smirking which made them laugh, which also made Adam laugh. Jonah walked over to the door while still laughing and opened it. "Hi, what did I miss?" Asked Evelin. "Oh nothing, also thanks for coming over, can you stay here for at least a hour?" Asked Jonah. Evelin looked confused but nodded. "Okay thanks." Said Jonah as they left and drove away. "Where is Jonah going?" Asked Adam. "To be honest, I have no idea." Said Evelin. "What happened to your hand?" Adam looked away, trying to fight back tears. "Sorry, I didn't mean to say that." Apologized Evelin. "It's okay, you didn't know what happened that night." Said Adam in a shaky voice.

Jonah pulled in to the animal shelter, surprisingly no one was in there except for the animals. They snuck through the open window because apparently the shelter owner is stupid. As soon as they got in they made went over to the room with the dogs, opening it and walking in. Their eyes landed on a black German Shepherd named Ada. Jonah put the collar and the leash that they stole from a store going down to the shelter on the dog and quickly took Ada out side and into the van.

Evelin and Adam where watching a movie when a knock on the door startled them. Evelin got up and opened the door. "Jonah, why do you have a dog?" Asked Evelin. "A random animal shelter." Said Jonah. "How much was she?" Asked Evelin. "Free." Replied Jonah sounding proud of themself. "How?!" Asked Evelin now sounding more confused than annoyed. Jonah just stared at Evelin with a smile on their face. "Why." Asked Evelin. "I don't know, me and Adam wanted one and well, I stole one." Said Jonah while unhooking the leash. "Jonah, no, just no." Said Evelin. Jonah just rolled their eyes and walked over to Adam who seemed excited about the new dog.

The wind howled as a branch tapped on the window. Adam stared at a wall, he refused to sleep because of his nightmare. They have all been the same, every single one. Adam got out of bed going to get water, as he walked down the stairs the house got colder. Soon he got into the kitchen but he froze when he saw that the door was open, someone or something broke in. "Well, who do we have here?" Asked a voice that made Adam panic, it was Alt.Jonah. Adam desperately looked for at least something to protect himself but panicked more when he saw Alt.Jonah holding a knife. "Well, we can do this the easy way or the hard way." Said Alt.Jonah pointing the knife at Adam. Adam backed away, tears starting to appear. "No! Please! Stay away!" Pleaded Adam. Alt.Jonah smiled and lunged at Adam, swinging the knife at him, but Adam dogged but hit his head on the wall and fell onto the floor. "Please no! HELP!" cried out Adam as Alt.Jonah put the the knife at Adam's throat. "Shut the fuck up you bitch." Snapped Alt.Jonah. Pain shot through Adam's burned hand as the knife stabbed it.Suddenly Jonah stud behind Alt.Jonah, they where holding the cast iron pan that for some reason Jonah needed to have. "Maybe next time you leave him alone." Said Jonah as they hit Alt.Jonah with the pan, quickly dragging him out side. As soon as Alt.Jonah was far away from the house Jonah looked over at Adam and froze. "Your hand." Whispered Jonah. Adam looked down at his hand, blood oozed from the stab would in his hand. Out of no where Adam passed out.

Chapter Text

Jonah laid in bed with Adam, they felt like someone or something was in the house. They were gonna try to go to bed until a loud noise came from down stairs, now they needed to check that out. They got out of the room closing the door behind them and walked down stairs. They snuck into the kitchen, trying not to make noise, they froze when they saw Alt.Jonah. "Well what do we have here." Said Gabriel, walking over to Jonah, he looked a bit taller that Adam which was weird. "What do you Monsters want from Adam this time?" Jonah asked, sounding angry. "Oh we are just here to finish what we started, so if you want to see the light of day I suggest you leave the house." Threatened Alt.Jonah while give Jonah a sly smile. "Oh so now you're brave to threaten me? You acted like you could take even the most powerful being in the hole universe when you assaulted Adam, and now you're scared, I know what you did to Adam, every single thing." Said Jonah angrily. "You treated Adam like he was just a toy you and your 'god' could play with and destroy, you raped Adam multible times, you even tried to drown him!" Alt.Jonah at this point started to back away, clearly surprised and terrified by how angered it got Jonah. "You even make my life miserable, seeing Adam suffer was bad enough but now you're trying to kill him and you think I will save just stand by!" Snapped Jonah. Before Jonah could say anything else they heard Adam call out their name. They turned around, glaring daggers at the alternate as they went back into the hallway. Jonah took a couple of deep breaths, they didn't want to scare Adam. When they got into the room Adam looked over at them happily and made room for them to lay down. "Where were you?" Asked Adam. "I heard a noise and went to check on it." Said Jonah, but at that point, Adam was asleep.

So, I might not work on this for a while since of school and wanting to work on some Eddsworld stories that need to be finished. Until then, I won't work on any Mandela Catalogue stories.

So, I'm giving up on finishing this story for know, there is a small chance I will make a chapter 8 but for know, this story is complete. If you liked this story, I suggest reading The Truth (or something like that) 💜
