Chapter Text
Percy POV
One moment, in my bed,
The next, well, still in my bed, but in my bed at school, from 10 years ago, back to the day my math teacher tried to kill me. This will be fun.
I was in my room, scrolling through the internet on my phone, then I blink, and I'm suddenly waking up in my dorm room at Yancey, 2 feet shorter and 10 years younger than I was a second ago.
Looking around confused, I noticed I still seemed to have my phone with me, and the stuff that had been in my pockets except for riptide which basically counted up to the 50 bucks in my wallet and some junk. Looking up at the room I notice the date on the calendar, the same day of the field trip that started everything, with the same year marked in the corner, 2010. Looking over to the mirror, I see myself. The same scrawny, skinny 12 year old I had been, not a single scar or muscle on me. Getting up I see Grover getting school supplies together in a backpack. Except he was a kid too.
What is going on!? How am I here?! What happened? As I tried to figure out what had happened to have sent me back to this day, Grover must have sensed my confusion cause he turned around.
"Oh hey Percy! You alright? You look kinda startled?"
"Oh, uh yeah, I'm alright, just had a weird dream."
Getting ready I mentally went over what was going on, I was somehow in the past, all the way back to the day I first met the Greek world. I still had what I had had with me, but my phone and camp necklace had appeared in my pocket, and I didn't have riptide. If I still have my stuff, then I'm not fully stranded, I just have to figure this all out. It seems like Grover doesn't remember anything, so I have to assume that I'm alone in this. First thing I need to do is see what the situation is, and try not . Not wanting Grover to think something was wrong I hurried but and went with him to class, turns out, knowing what the words say does not make it any easier to read.
When the bell rang Grover ran off to get lunch like his life depended on it. Slowly following I eat lunch before we board the bus to the field trip of doom.
While on the bus Nancy repeated her trick, throwing bits of her peanut butter and ketchup sandwich at us from behind. "Behold! The food of evil people!" I whisper to grover who gave a half hearted chuckle at my comment.
"Why do I even have to do this, I already know it's going to end badly." I signed to Grover. "Come on Percy, it can't be that bad! I'm sure it will be fine, you just need to keep your head down! You can't give miss Dodds a reason to get you in trouble! She has it out for you! "Grover replied, trying to help, not knowing
