Chapter 1: Ghosts in Greendale
Sabrina Spellman and her aunts, Hilda and Zelda, were at Greendale Airport watching Sabrina's Uncle Quigley board a plane for Ireland. "I'm going to miss him." Sabrina commented.
"I won't miss needing him as a legal guardian." Hilda Spellman said. As a centuries-old witch, she hated being trapped in a teenage body and having a mortal telling her how to behave.
"Hilda!" Zelda scolded her sister. While Zelda also hated the idea and wanted to go back to being an ugly witch, she was more polite about it.
"That's true and you know it, Zelda." Hilda replied and then noticed a man in an orange jumpsuit. "Oh no!"
"What happened, Aunt Hilda?" Sabrina asked. "You look like you've seen a ghost."
"Worse than that." Hilda replied, still scared. "I believe I saw John Fenton Nightingale."
Meanwhile, nearby, a family of four was waiting for their luggage after their flight from Amity Park. "Kids, aren't you excited?" The father, Jack Fenton, asked, not aware of how Danny and Jasmine Fenton felt.
"Not exactly, Dad." Danny replied.
"Why are we even here?" Jasmine "Jazz" Fenton asked.
"To investigate paranormal visions, of course." Jack replied.
"What happens if some ghost attacks Amity Park while we're here?" Danny asked.
"Danny, while your concern is admirable, I'm sure the Guys in White and the Red Huntress will take care of any ghosts that appear." Maddie reassured her son.
"If not, it will teach people to respect us." Jack said.
Back to the witches, they were leaving the airport. "Hilda, I don't know who you saw in there but it couldn't be John Fenton Nightingale." Zelda told her sister. "He was from the 17th century."
"Who is John Fenton Nightingale?" Sabrina asked.
"A witch hunter who lived a long time ago, Sabrina." Hilda replied. "To us he wasn't a threat like Tim the Witch Smeller but ghosts weren't so lucky."
"Perhaps you have seen a descendant of his, Aunt Hilda." Sabrina suggested.
"Not perhaps, Sabrina." A talking cat said as he approached the witches. "That man is a descendant of John Fenton Nightingale."
"We talk about it at home." Zelda declared and the four returned.
"Okay, Salem." Hilda said after the cat and the witches returned home. "How do you know that mortal is actually a descendant of John Fenton Nightingale instead of simply someone who looks like him?"
The cat, Salem, presented a magazine that had the Fentons on the cover. "That man is Jack Fenton, a ghost hunter who lives in Amity Park." He said. "His wife, Maddie Fenton, also hunts ghosts. They were in the magazine because their son, Danny, found out the albino gorilla at a zoo in their town is a female."
Sabrina was worried. "Do you think the Fentons came here to hunt us?" She asked.
"Not necessarily." Hilda replied. "While they and everyone else who lives in Amity Park knows that ghosts exist, there is no indication that they know or even suspect that witches exist."
"Still, it's better not to take any chances." Zelda said. "We don't know why the Fentons came to Greendale."
Meanwhile, the Fentons approached the house of one of Sabrina's former classmates. Jack knocked on the door and a man answered. "Can I help you?" he asked.
"Yes." Jack said. "We're looking for a Perry McDonald."
"What do you want with my son?" Mr. McDonald asked, understandably worried about strangers asking about his son.
"I'm Jack Fenton and Perry McDonald contacted me about some ghosts that have been seen in this town." Jack said, making Mr. McDonald pinch his nose in frustration.
"I'm sorry that my son involved you in his crazy things but every sane adult knows that ghosts don't exist." Mr. McDonald said.
"Yes there are, Dad." A boy said. "Are you Jack and Maddie Fenton? It's a pleasure to meet you."
"Perry McDonald, I presume." Maddie Fenton said.
"Yes, but my friends call me "Pi"." Pi replied.
"Perry, didn't you already cause enough trouble when you made people think an alien landed at the Spellman house?" His father asked and directed his attention back to the Fentons. "If you want to waste time looking for ghosts, that's your problem, but don't involve my son in this."
"Thank you for your time, Mr. McDonald." Jack said and the Fentons were gone.
"Can we go home now?" Danny asked.
"No, son." Jack replied with a smile. "Let's go to the place where the ghosts were seen."
Meanwhile, Sabrina was trying not to think about the Fentons when her cell phone rang. "Pi?" She asked.
"Sabrina, guess who just showed up here!" Pi happily exclaimed.
"The President?" Sabrina asked halfheartedly.
"Better than that!" Pi responded without noticing (or caring about) Sabrina's disinterest. "Jack Fenton!"
"What?" Sabrina was horrified that the ghost hunter who had become a source of concern for her family had contacted a friend of hers.
"I knew you would be impressed!" Pi commented, oblivious to the situation. "Remember my post about the ghost seen in the park? It's the reason the Fentons came to Greendale!" He was proud. "My father doesn't let me leave the house because of this, so could you go there and ask for an autograph from him and his wife for me?"
"S-sure, Pi." Sabrina hesitantly responded.
"Thank you, Sabrina. Bye." Pi said and ended the call.
"Sabrina, what happened?" Her Aunt Zelda asked.
"The Fentons came here because of a ghost Pi saw in the park." Sabrina answered.
"A ghost?" Aunt Hilda asked as she and her sister glared at Salem.
"How was I supposed to know my friend would be seen?" Salem asked.
"Well, asking for an autograph would be a good excuse to approach the Fentons." Aunt Zelda commented.
"Oh, great." Sabrina sarcastically said.
Later, the Fentons were in the park looking for ghosts. Or better said, Jack and Maddie Fenton were looking for ghosts while their children looked for excuses to leave them behind. "Not a ghost in sight." Jack declared. "For now."
"Maybe the ghost only appears at night." Danny suggested. "How about you guys come back here at night while Jazz and I relax in comfortable hotel beds?"
"Danny, I know that ghosts and other supernatural beings are usually associated with the night but they may have simply become invisible." Jack said and presented a device. "That's why I brought the Fenton Finder!"
'Uh-oh.' Danny and Jazz thought. "I'm going to find a bathroom." Danny quickly said and ran off.
"Ghost moving away." Fenton Finder said. "Turn around."
"It's the same direction Danny went!" Jack exclaimed in horror. "The ghost must be planning to attack him!"
"After him!" Maddie screamed.
"I'll help!" Jazz said and "accidentally" bumped into her parents. "Sorry."
Unbeknownst to Jazz, Danny actually needed a bathroom. "I shouldn't have drunk so much soda except it gave me an excuse." He commented to himself.
Sabrina Spellman and Salem Saberhagen were nearby looking for the Fentons. "Look, there's Danny Fenton!" Salem said.
Remembering the agreed act, Sabrina approached Danny. "Excuse me, are you Danny Fenton?" She asked, surprising Danny.
"How do you know my name?" Danny asked, surprised that a girl he'd never seen before knew.
"I'm Sabrina Spellman." Sabrina introduced herself. "My friend Pi told me that your family would be here and he asked me to get your parents' autographs."
This made Danny worried but he didn't show it. "I'll talk to them, Sabrina."
"While you're at it, could you autograph this magazine cover for me?" Sabrina asked, showing the infamous genius magazine cover.
"Ugh." Danny reluctantly responded as he autographed the cover.
"You can stand to get close enough to a gorilla to know if it's a male or a female but can't bear to see a post about it?" Sabrina asked with a giggle.
"I did not want to get that close to the gorilla, Sabrina." Danny explained. "I just wanted to earn extra credit, and despite my breakthrough, my grade only went up to a C."
"A C?" Sabrina asked in surprise. "I thought you were a genius."
"The magazine exaggerated that part." Danny grumbled.
"Danny!" They heard someone call. Looking around, they saw Jack, Maddie, and Jazz.
"Is this the bathroom, son?" Jack asked, embarrassing Danny.
"Dad, Mom, Jazz, this is Sabrina Spellman." Danny said. "She's Pi's friend and he asked her to get his autographs."
"With pleasure!" Jack happily said and then he and Maddie signed a piece of paper for Pi.
Jazz recognized the magazine Sabrina was holding. "Genius Magazine?" she asked, hating to see a reminder of her failed attempt to get people to see her mother as something other than a ghost-obsessed weirdo.
"Maddie, our son has a fan." Jack commented upon seeing the autograph Danny gave Sabrina. "Danny, get her out of here before the park ghost comes back." He then took Jazz and Maddie to another area of the park.
"I apologize for my father." Danny said.
"It's okay, Danny." Sabrina replied. "So, is there any particular place you want to see or do we say goodbye after leaving the park?"
"Do you know where I can find a good snack bar around here?" Danny asked.
"Meow." Salem said and jumped at Danny's feet.
"Whoa, kitty." Danny said.
"Sorry, Danny." Sabrina replied. "Sometimes Salem plays overprotective."
"Don't worry, Salem." He said to the cat. "I don't bite."
"Meow." Salem said, reminding himself that he should avoid speaking in the presence of mortals.
"Then I'll guide you to the snack bar." Sabrina said.
As Danny and Sabrina started walking, Salem jumped on her shoulder. "Sabrina, what do you think you're doing?" Salem whispered.
"Trying to find out what modern-day Fentons know about witches, Salem." Sabrina whispered back.
"What did you say, Sabrina?" Danny asked.
Sabrina thought quickly. "I was wondering: if ghosts exist, what about other supernatural beings?"
"As far as I know, only ghosts although some turn into dragons." Danny explained, feeling there would be no harm in saying so.
'Whether he knows about witches or not, this boy seems to have lived as interesting a magical life as mine.' Sabrina thought.
When they arrived at Sabrina's chosen place, Danny ordered an ice cream and she, inspired by his decision, ordered one for herself. "Thanks for pointing me to this place, Sabrina." Danny said.
"Thank you." An employee said.
"Anyway, I have to call Pi to tell him I got the autographs he asked for." Sabrina said.
Danny nodded and continued to eat his ice cream. After they finished, someone one of them knew showed up. "Hi, Brina."

Chapter 2: Witches
"Harvey!" Sabrina exclaimed, recognizing her friend. "How unexpected."
"I was practicing my basketball and decided to stop here." Harvey said. "Who is your friend?"
"Harvey, this is Danny Fenton." Sabrina said. "I'm showing him the city while his parents are looking for ghosts in the park."
'Did you need to mention that part?' Danny thought.
"Danny, this is Harvey Kinkle, one of my childhood friends." Sabrina said.
"Nice to meet you." Harvey said and offered a handshake. Danny decided to accept despite his experiences with Dash Baxter making him afraid of jocks.
"Likewise." Danny replied with hesitation.
"Fenton?" Harvey asked. "As in Jack and Maddie Fenton?"
"How did you hear about my parents?" Danny was shocked.
"My friend Pi told me about them." Harvey responded. "He's a fan of the supernatural."
"I know." Danny said. "It was because of him that Sabrina looked for my parents."
"He couldn't go after them himself so he asked me to get their autographs."
Two women entered the place. "Sabrina, we need to go home now." One of them said.
"Really, Aunt Zelda?" Sabrina asked.
"Don't argue, Sabrina." Aunt Hilda ordered.
"Alright, aunts." Sabrina replied. "Danny, Harvey, I'm sorry but I have to go home."
"I'm going to go back to the park and see if my parents are still there." Danny said. Harvey continued snacking.
During the way to the park, Danny saw his parents coming from the opposite direction, looking sad. "What happened?" Danny asked.
"Don't ask, little brother." Jazz said.
"We got kicked out of the park, Danny." Maddie explained with a sad expression.
"A cop said we were a couple of crazy people." Jack added. "Can you believe this, Danny?"
"I can." Danny muttered.
"Danny, how is Sabrina?" Jazz asked.
"Everything was going well until two of her aunts showed up and told her she needed to leave." Danny said, still trying to understand what happened.
"Don't worry, son." Jack tried to reassure Danny. "You'll see her again. We'll still look for the ghost."
"Weren't you and mom kicked out of the park?" Danny asked, dreading the answer.
"We'll be back at night, son." Jack said.
"Little brother, do Sabrina's aunts want to keep you away from her because they know about our parents?" Jazz asked.
"Nonsense, Jazzypants." Jack replied. "What could they have against us?"
Meanwhile, at the Spellmans' residence, Sabrina received the answer. "Is Danny Fenton half-ghost?" Sabrina was shocked. "How is that possible? I've met his parents and none of them seem to be ghosts."
"Some ghosts I know told me that an accident in Jack and Maddie Fenton's lab fused enough ectoplasm into their son's DNA to make him half-ghost, or a halfa, as some ghosts prefer to say." Salem explained.
"Be that as it may, he doesn't know of the existence of the Netherworld so he isn't subject to witch laws." Aunt Zelda explained. "If that changes, he will have to be taken to Enchantra."
"Or, if he knows we witches exist, he's hiding it very well." Aunt Hilda added.
"Anyway, Brina, don't use magic in front of him until we're sure he knows." Salem warned her.
"Understood." Sabrina replied.
That night, Danny decided to take a night flight. Knowing that the people of Greendale were not used to Danny Phantom, he became invisible during the flight. To his surprise, he spotted what appeared to be a witch flying on a broomstick. Approaching, he recognized the witch. 'Sabrina?' He thought.
"Sabrina, do you really think it's safe to fly around with the Fentons in the city?" Salem asked, surprising Danny with the fact that he can talk. "I know none of them seem to know about the existence of witches but..."
"Salem, I need to relax." Sabrina replied. "And you want to see your ghost friend one more time before he returns to the Netherworld."
'So it was a friend of the talking cat who made my parents bring me here.' Danny thought and decided to follow them.
Sabrina and Salem landed in the park and a ghost (who wasn't Danny) was waiting for them. "Sorry I'm late, Isaac." Salem said.
"I understand, Salem." Isaac replied. "And I assume this is Sabrina Spellman."
"Right." Sabrina said.
"But who's the other ghost?" Isaac asked as he pointed at the still invisible Danny Phantom.
Danny decided to make himself visible again. "I'm Danny Phantom."
"The ghost boy from Amity Park?" Sabrina asked, feigning surprise. "What are you doing so far from home at the same time as the Fentons?"
"Uh, I heard about a ghost that was seen around here and decided to investigate." Danny replied, hoping that Sabrina, Salem and Isaac would believe it was a coincidence.
"A ghost going after other ghosts?" Sabrina asked.
"I protect people from evil ghosts." Danny explained. "I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, Isaac."
"I appreciate it but I'm leaving town before Jack and Maddie Fenton find me." Isaac responded and left.
"Danny Phantom, has anyone ever mentioned you look like Danny Fenton but with different hair and eye colors?" Sabrina asked to tease Danny.
"No." Danny said. To be honest, he was actually surprised that no one noticed it until now. He then felt his ghost sense. "Is Isaac back?"
"Not exactly, whelp." Skulker responded, revealing his presence.
"Skulker, still wanting my skin on your wall?" Danny asked with a frown.
"Ewwww." Sabrina reacted, feeling disgusted.
"Your skin will be mine, whelp." Skulker said and fired a missile.
"When pigs fly, Skulker." Danny responded, creating a shield to block the missile.
"Salem, we need to do something!" Sabrina said.
"Run for the hills, Brina." Salem replied.
"No, Salem." Sabrina said and brandished her wand. She then cast a spell that caused Skulker's armor to stop working.
Taking advantage of this, Danny sucked Skulker into a Fenton thermos. "Thanks."
"Sabrina, you shouldn't let him know that witches exist." Salem scolded the half-witch.
"Salem, I couldn't stand by while a truly evil ghost attacked him." Sabrina argued.
"Your secrets are safe with me, Sabrina." Danny reassured her.
"It's a good thing they are because if you expose us to mortals, there are several warlocks and witches more powerful than me who won't like it." Sabrina warned him.
"You can say that again, Sabrina." Another witch said as she materialized. "Danny Fenton, I am Enchantra, the queen of the Netherworld."
"Enchantra, I can explain." Sabrina said with a tone that made Danny worried. Sabrina managed to stop Skulker without any problems and was still afraid of Enchantra.
"Don't worry, Sabrina." Enchantra said. "Danny Phantom knowing about us isn't a problem in and of itself. All I want is to make sure he doesn't expose us to mortals. Who knows what they'll have done to us before we turn them into frogs."
"Is this really necessary, Your Majesty?" Danny asked.
"Aside from the most formal occasions, people can call me Enchantra." Enchantra explained. "And we worry about what mortals can do if they have the right equipment. Without your powers and the devices your parents created, what chance would you have against ghosts?"
"I understand." Danny replied.
"Excellent." Enchantra said. "My spies in the Ghost Zone told me about a goth girl who would kiss you to undo the transformation if I did that to you."
"Do you have a girlfriend?" Sabrina asked, not completely understanding why this bothered her.
"No, Sam and I are just friends." Danny replied.
"Yeah, right." Salem said but was ignored.
"Anyway, that's all until you somehow develop magical powers or want to learn more about the Netherworld." Enchantra said. "Goodbye, Danny Phantom." She disappeared.
"What do we do now?" Danny asked.
"We have two options." Sabrina said. "Either we go our separate ways or we try to get to know each other better."
"Oh, boy." Salem deadpanned.
"I think I'll go with the second option if that's okay with you." Danny commented.
"It is, Danny." Sabrina replied. "By the way, if anyone who doesn't know my secret asks how I know yours, tell them Skulker forced you to transform in front of me."
"Did you know the truth all along?" Danny asked.
"No, my aunts found out and told me after they interrupted our previous conversation." Sabrina explained. "Did you really become half-ghost in a lab accident?"
"Yes but only my sister Jazz and my friends Sam and Tucker know about it." Danny replied. "Besides the ghosts and my archenemy Vlad Masters or Vlad Plasmius as he calls his ghost half. We know each other's identities each uses this to stop the other from telling."
"Complicated." Sabrina commented.
"What about you?" Danny asked. "Pureblood, halfblood, or muggleborn?"
"This isn't Harry Potter's Wizarding World, Danny." Sabrina answered. "I'm a half-witch. Warlock father; mortal mother. I'd tell more but you'd better go back to your room before your parents become worried. Let's exchange contact number and addresses?"
The next day, the Fentons were returning to Amity Park. "Are you and Sabrina getting to know each other better?" Jack asked with a smile. "Sam's going to be jealous."
"Why, Dad?" Danny asked, not understanding what his father meant.
"Clueless." Jack, Maddie and Jazz muttered.
"Why do people keep calling me that?" Danny asked.
"Never mind." Jack replied.
After the trip back home, Danny reunited with his best friends. "Danny, did you catch the ghost?" Sam asked.
"More important than that: have you met any girls?" Tucker asked, earning a glare from Sam.
"Isaac is a nice ghost who was just minding his own business, Sam." Danny replied. "And yes, Tucker, I met a girl."
"Awesome!" Tucker exclaimed. "Is she beautiful? Does she have a sister?"
"Yes, Sabrina is beautiful." Danny replied as he showed a photo. "And no, she doesn't have a sister."
"A cousin, then?" Tucker asked, desperation evident in his voice.
"I still don't know Sabrina well enough to tell, Tucker." Danny replied.
"And maybe you're better off not knowing." Sam suggested with a frown.
"Someone is jealous." Tucker teased Sam.
"I'm glad you admit it, Tucker." Danny commented.
"Clueless." Tucker muttered while Sam laughed.
"Danny, I want to meet that Sabrina." Sam demaned, wanting to face the girl stealing her... friend.
"And I want to ask if she has any sisters or cousins." Tucker added.
"Typical Tucker." Danny commented.
"You said it, Danny." Sam agreed.
"Danny, for some reason the girls here don't see me as the smart, handsome, modest boy that I am." Tucker pleaded. "Maybe Greendale girls have better taste."
"Be careful, Danny." Sam warned her friend. "This Sabrina person might be up to some pranking like the local A-Listers."
Danny frowned. "Sam, is it so hard for you to believe that a girl could actually like me?"
"Danny, you're not judging any beauty pageant she's entering." Sam argued.
"And she probably wouldn't need that kind of help." Tucker commented and felt his friends staring at him. "Sorry."
"Tucker's nonsense aside, maybe some girls might like you but I can't help but worry after all those shallow girls who hurt you." Sam said.
"Danny, have you tried anything with Sam?" Tucker asked.
"Tucker, I expected that joke from the A-Listers, not from you." Danny commented. "But it was worth trying to make me relax."
After the conversation was over, Tucker and Sam left Fentonworks. "Tucker, you need to find out everything you can about this Sabrina." Sam demanded.
"Sam, this is so wrong." Tucker responded and Sam offered him money. "And this isn't like that time I dressed up like you so you could skip school. No amount of money will make that right."

Chapter 3: Introductions
Danny Fenton was on a video call with Sabrina Spellman. "How are things in Greendale?" Danny asked.
"The usual, Danny." Sabrina replied. "What about Amity Park?"
"A ghost attacked, as usual, but Danny Phantom saved the day." Danny said.
"Hey, your mom and I helped!" Jack protested. "At least until the traffic cop stopped us. He thinks we're a bigger threat than ghosts."
"He and pretty much everyone around us." Maddie sadly added.
Danny decided to ignore his parents. "Sabrina, my friends are about to arrive for a study session." He said. "We can use this to introduce you to them."
"I would love to but I'm going to the mall with my friends." Sabrina replied. "Bye, Danny."
"She must be scared to face Sam." Jack commented.
"Jack, how about we go out and get some fudge?" Maddie suggested.
"To the Fenton Ghost Assault Vehicle!" Jack quickly said.
After Jack and Maddie left, Sam and Tucker showed up. "So, what topic are we going to study first?" Danny asked.
"Are we really going to study?" Tucker was shocked. "I thought this was to trick your parents."
"He needs their permission to visit Sabrina in Greendale, Tucker." Sam said.
"A good enough reason for me." Tucker commented with a big smile.
"Shut up, Tucker." Sam said.
"Not only does this help me get time with Sabrina, it keeps me from being forced to spend another study session with Mr. Lancer showing me a picture of that ugly sister of his." Danny added.
"Danny, that's not a nice way to talk about her." Sam scolded her friend.
"Give Mr. Lancer a dress that matches hers and they will be twins." Danny explained.
"In this case, 'ugly' is a nice way to describe her." Tucker responded, horrified that a woman could be so ugly as to be mistaken for Mr. Lancer in a dress.
"Can we study now?" Sam asked. "Anything to forget that mental image."
After an hour of studying, Team Phantom decided to start a training session. Danny was in the middle of a loop when his ghost sense activated. "BEWARE!" A ghost in overalls said. "I am the Box Ghost, master of all things cardboard and square!"
"Boxy, don't you have anything better to do?" Danny asked, annoyed by the Box Ghost's presence.
"I need to show the other ghosts that I should be taken seriously." The Box Ghost said. "Even Sidney Poindexter earned the respect of his peers when he fought you."
"Even he is more impressive than you." Danny replied and hit the Box Ghost with an ecto-beam. Danny then took advantage of this to put him in a Fenton Thermos.
Meanwhile, at Vlad Masters' mansion, Skulker was complaining. "I'm telling you, Plasmius, there's something wrong with my armor." Skulker said.
"You mean beyond the user?" One of Vlad's ghost vultures asked.
In retaliation, Skulker shot the vulture. "Your weapons seem to work very well." Vlad commented, not believing Skulker's complaint.
"Now but not during the last time I tried to capture the whelp." Skulker said. "My armor stopped working... like it was magic."
"Or techno-geek interference." Vlad suggested.
"That kid has no influence on my armor!" Skulker shouted. "Not anymore."
"Skulker, have you seen many purple-back gorillas lately?" Vlad mischievously asked.
"Believe what you want, Plasmius, but the whelp is involved in some kind of witchcraft." Skulker said.
"Skulker, I know ghosts exist, but witches?" Vlad remained skeptical. "Maybe the goth girl discovered some magical artifact."
Back at Fentonworks, Danny's parents have returned. "Who wants fudge?" Jack asked, secretly hoping no one would take him up on the offer.
"I want it, Mr. Fenton." Tucker replied. "Thanks!"
"No." Jack said. "I mean, you're welcome, Tucker."
"I need to go home." Sam said. "Bye, Danny, Jazz, Tucker, and Mr. and Mrs. Fenton."
"Bye, Sam." The others said.
After Sam left the Fentons' house, Jack and Maddie went to the lab. "Danny, are you sure Sabrina doesn't have a sister?" Tucker asked.
"Absolutely, Tucker." Danny replied.
"In that case, I have to go too." Tucker said. "Don't forget to ask her about cousins."
"Little brother, you're really not going to ask Sabrina that, are you?" Jazz asked with a tone of concern.
"No, Jazz." He reassured his sister. "Tucker may ask her himself if I introduce them."
"Are you going to introduce them?" Jazz asked. "What did Sabrina do to deserve this?"
The next day, Sabrina and Cassandra were receiving witchcraft lessons from Mr. Snipe. "Girls, due to certain recent events, today we're going to talk about ghosts." Mr. Snipe said.
"Who cares about that?" Cassandra asked, not taking the matter seriously.
"Your Aunt Enchantra." Mr. Snipe responded. "It is at her request that I am talking about ghosts in this class."
Cassandra swallowed hard while Sabrina smiled. "I believe you two have heard of the half-ghost known as Danny Phantom." Mr. Snipe commented.
"Inviso-Bill?" Cassandra asked dismissively. "He's nothing more than a myth. It's one thing when a wizard and a mortal have a daughter together but I doubt a mortal and a ghost...
Mr. Snipe decided to interrupt Cassandra. "In reality, Danny Phantom is a mortal who was turned into a half-ghost and he is as real as you and me." He explained. "And 'Inviso-Bill' is what mortals used to call him before he announced his ghost name."
"Ghost name?" Cassandra asked, confused.
"In his mortal form, he is known as Daniel James Fenton or Danny Fenton." Mr. Snipe explained.
"Fenton, Phantom, do mortals think it's a coincidence?" Cassandra asked.
"Good question." Sabrina commented.
"Wait a minute." Cassandra said. "Fenton? As in John Fenton Nightingale?"
"Yes, Cassandra." Mr. Snipe answered. "Danny Fenton is one of his descendants."
"The Fentons came to Greendale to look for a ghost." Sabrina added.
"They'll probably come after us later!" Cassandra was worried. "Let's turn these mortals into frogs before then."
"NO!" Sabrina was horrified.
"Spellman, I know you're half mortal but you care about them too much." Cassandra said.
"Cassandra, there's no need to worry." Mr. Snipe said. "Danny is the only Fenton who knows of our existence."
"Aunt Enchantra needs to be notified!" Cassandra said.
"She already knows, Cassandra." Sabrina replied.
"You better not be lying, Sabrina." Cassandra threatened.
"Settle this after Miss Magrooney's class, girls." Mr. Snipe ordered. "Which is about to start."
Meanwhile, in Amity Park, Danny was running because Dash got another F and was trying to take it out on him. "Dash, why don't you just study more?" Danny asked.
"Studying is for nerds, Fenturd." Dash replied.
"BEWARE!" The Box Ghost appeared in front of Danny. "I am..."
"Not now, Boxy." Danny replied, rushing past the ghost. Dash did the same.
"I don't like being ignored." The Box Ghost grumbled."
To escape Dash, Danny entered the bathroom and, upon realizing that there was no one else in there, he became invisible. "Where are you, Fentonio?" Dash asked.
Danny joined his friends. "What happened, Danny?" Sam asked. "Any ghosts?"
"Dash." Danny replied and his friends nodded. "The Box Ghost showed up but Dash was the biggest problem."
"The only problem, you mean." Tucker corrected Danny.
"True." Danny conceded.
"Hey!" The Box Ghost protested. "I have feelings. And THIS!" He then showed a box labeled 'spinach'. "Feel the fury of sailors' favorite vegetable!"
"YOU MONSTER!" Tucker shouted, enraged at the idea of being force-fed spinach.
"Would you rather eat the alternatives offered by your goth friend?" The Box Ghost asked, making Tucker shut up.
"Hey." Sam protested. "My suggestions weren't that bad."
"Yes, they were." Tucker replied.
"No, they weren't." Sam said.
"How do you know about the alternative menu Sam suggested?" Danny asked. Partly because he wanted to end Tucker and Sam's arguing.
"My beloved Lunch Lady told me." The Box Ghost answered.
"Eww." Danny and his friends reacted when they remembered Box Lunch.
"What's your problem with my love life?" The Box Ghost asked in confusion.
"Never mind." Danny replied. "Just leave before I regret not putting you inside a Thermos."
"Okay." The Box Ghost said and left.
"He can be even more pathetic than Paulina." Sam commented.
"I heard that, Manson." Paulina replied.
"Your obsession with Danny Phantom is pathetic." Sam argued.
"You're jealous because you can't get anyone better than Fenton." Paulina accused Sam.
"Sam already went to a dance with me." Tucker protested.
"What part of 'better than Fenton' didn't you understand?" Paulina arrogantly asked.
"Sam, you were right." Tucker said. "Paulina really is a witch."
"The Wicked Witch of the West, Tucker." Danny said. "Be specific or other witches might be offended."
"You losers aren't worth my time." Paulina said and walked away.
"Yeah, we're worth more than that." Sam commented.
After that conversation, Danny went home. After informing his parents, he went to his room to do his homework. As soon as he finished, his phone rang. "Sabrina?"
"Hi, Danny." Sabrina said. "Did I call at a bad time?"
"No, Sabrina." Danny replied. "I just finished my homework."
"Danny, do you have any plans for this Saturday?" Sabrina asked.
"No, Sabrina." Danny replied.
"In that case, if you decide to come visit me, my aunts would like to meet you." Sabrina said. "They're worried about you know what."
'Aunts instead of parents?' Danny thought. 'Does she have her own Voldemort and was it bad taste of me to make a Harry Potter reference?' "I'll see what my parents have to say about me going to Greendale again."
"Thanks, Danny." Sabrina replied with a smile.
Afterwards, Danny told his parents the news. "Wow, Sabrina really likes you." Jack commented. "Maybe we should invite her to have lunch with us one of these days."
"I'll think about it." Danny said, secretly worried that his parents would make a bad impression with the witches.
Later, Danny talked to his friends about it. "Aunts instead of parents?" Tucker asked. "Is she an orphan?"
"I don't know and I don't feel comfortable asking." Danny replied.
"Fair enough." Sam commented.
"Anyway, if Sabrina has aunts, chances are she has cousins." Tucker said. "Don't forget to check it out."
"Tucker." Sam scolded her friend.
"She might have male cousins as well." Tucker said.
"That's not the point, Tucker." Sam replied. "This Sabrina character could be bad news."
"You think that about every girl who approaches Danny." Tucker said. "No wonder people expected you to become a couple."
"Tucker, do you really believe there are people who think Sam wants more than friendship with me?" Danny asked, still oblivious to the goth's feelings.
"Clueless." Tucker and Sam muttered.
"Anyway, Sabrina and her aunts have a cat." Danny told them. "Do you think it would be a good idea if I brought him food?"
"Danny, do you even know what kind of food that cat eats?" Sam asked.
"Good point, Sam." Danny conceded.
Unbeknownst to Danny, Vlad Masters also had plans for Greendale. "So Daniel has a girlfriend in that city." He said. "Interesting."

Chapter 4: Return to Greendale
Danny Fenton was about to get on a train to Greendale. "Danny, wouldn't you rather I give you a ride?" Jack asked. "I'll be there in a minute!"
"No need to worry, Dad." Danny replied. The ghost boy would rather face Pariah Dark alone than go anywhere with his father at the wheel.
"Ghost!" Jazz shouted, wanting to end this awkward moment.
"Where?" Jack asked as Danny got on the train.
"My mistake, Dad." Jazz said. "I'm sorry."
"Don't worry, Jazzypants." Jack said, trying to comfort his daughter. "We look for one on the way home."
"Hooray." Jazz sarcastically replied.
"I knew you would like it!" Jack exclaimed, not realizing how she really felt.
Later, Danny arrived in Greendale. Sabrina was waiting for him at the station. "Hi, Danny." The half-witch said. "Did you have a good trip?"
"Yes, Sabrina." Danny replied. "Did you have to wait a long time?"
"No, Danny." Sabrina replied.
"Danny, my aunts gave me money for the taxi." Sabrina said.
One taxi ride later, Danny was formally introduced to Sabrina's aunts. "Nice to meet you, Miss Hilda and Miss Zelda." Danny said.
"You can call me Aunt Hilda, Danny." Hilda Spellman responded.
"And me from Aunt Zelda." Zelda Spellman added.
"Edward, they're here!" Hilda said, surprising Sabrina.
"Daddy!" Sabrina exclaimed with joy.
Danny was confused. If Sabrina has a father, why does she live with aunts? Said father noticed his presence. "You must be Danny Fenton." Edward said.
"Y-Yes, Mr. Spellman." Danny responded in fear. Who knew what he would be turned into if he said the wrong word?
"Don't be nervous, Danny." Edward said.
Salem then approached Edward. "So, has the Witches' Council said anything about my situation?"
"No sentence reduction for you, Salem." Edward said. "You will remain a cat for as long as possible and I hope this serves as a lesson to you for trying to take over the world when you return to being a warlock."
"Is he a warlock who tried to take over the world?" Danny asked, shocked by this.
"Sorry, Danny." Edward said. "I thought you already knew that."
"I can't use spells while I'm an animal, Danny." Salem said casually. "Don't worry."
Despite this, they sat at the table. "Fantastic appetizers." Danny commented.
"Thanks, Danny." Zelda commented.
"Danny, what are your plans for the future?" Edward asked. As gentle as he sounded, Danny couldn't help but feel more cornered than when fighting ghosts.
"I plan to be an astronaut, Mr. Spellman." Danny replied.
"I am a High Warlock." Edward said. "I have influence on the Witches' Council even if it doesn't reach the level of my Uncle Zamboni yet."
"Who?" Danny asked.
"The oldest living Spellman and therefore someone we should feel honored to welcome whenever he decides to visit us." Edward explained.
"It's easy for him to say that." Hilda whispered to Zelda.
"I heard that, Hilda." Edward said.
"And I stand by it." Hilda replied.
"Don't say that, Hilda!" Salem desperately asked. "Uncle Zamboni might find out and that might lessen the chances of him deciding to use his influence to shorten my punishment."
"Your chances were never very good and we shouldn't discuss that in front of a visitor." Zelda said as she gestured to Danny.
"I'm sorry about what happened, Danny." Sabrina said after dinner.
"Okay but, can I ask you a question?" Danny asked.
"You already did it but you can do another one." Sabrina joked.
"If your father is still a part of your life, why do you live with your aunts?" Danny asked. "I'm sorry if you don't feel comfortable telling me."
"I don't feel but you have the right to know." Sabrina replied. "The Witches' Council doesn't like warlocks and mortals getting married. To punish my parents after I was born, the Council forced them to divorce and give custody of me to relatives."
"Do you think they would do the same to us?" Danny asked, worried about the idea of being forcibly removed from his future children.
"Don't worry, Danny." Edward said. "Being half-ghost makes you supernatural enough to be accepted by the Council while you're still mortal enough that they won't mess around if you end up marrying another mortal."
"What a relief." Danny commented.
"One more thing." Edward added. "The Witches' Council allows every supernatural being the right to reveal the existence of the Netherworld to a mortal outside the family."
Danny smiled when he heard that. "I can tell my sister Jazz and one of my friends." He stopped to think. "I don't know whether to tell Tucker or Sam. Sabrina, if I tell one of them, will you tell the other?"
"I'm sorry, Danny, but I've already used my right to tell a mortal with my friend Chloe Flan."
"Okay, I can ask Jazz for advice." Danny commented.
"Danny, now that that's out of the way, there's a dance at my school in two weeks." Sabrina said. "Do you want to go with me?"
"Yes, Sabrina." Danny replied. "I'm going to talk to my parents."
"Responsible boy." Edward said with an approving tone.
After that, Danny and the Spellmans went to the bus station. Danny was about to kiss Sabrina goodbye when her father stopped her. "Don't give me a reason to turn you into a frog."
"Dad." Sabrina groaned.
Danny kissed Sabrina's cheek. "Just so you know, Danny, if you're turned into a frog, Sabrina can undo it by kissing you." Aunt Hilda said.
"Don't tell him that." Edward said to Hilda.
"Seeing them like this reminds me of you with Sabrina's mom." Hilda commented.
"I wasn't that sappy." Edward protested.
"Yes you were, brother." Zelda replied.
Back at Fentonworks, Danny told an edited version of his experience. "You met your girlfriend's father and survived?" Jack asked in awe. "That's my boy!"
"Thank you, dad." Danny replied.
"Son, what threats did he make to you?" Jack asked. "They could be useful if Jazz brings in another bad boy like that Johnny guy."
Despite the permission, Danny wasn't ready to tell his parents about Sabrina being a witch on her father's side. "Nothing that beats the threat of the Fenton Anti-Creep Stick." He lied.
"Danny, you talked about Sabrina's father." Maddie pointed out. "What about her mother?"
"I didn't know her, Mom." Danny replied. "Sabrina's parents are divorced."
'If Sabrina's mother is anything like Alicia, Mr. Spellman must be celebrating.' Jack thought but was smart enough to keep quiet for a change.
After getting an excuse, Danny had a private conversation with his sister. "Spit it out, little brother." Jazz said. "What's the matter?"
"Sabrina's family confided in me a secret and said I can tell mine but I'd rather tell it just to you." Danny replied.
"Are they ghosts?" Jazz asked, wondering why there was so much secrecy.
"The truth is a little more complicated." Danny stated. "Sabrina is a half-witch."
"Little brother, it's not cool to call a girl a witch." Jazz scolded her brother. "And what do you mean 'half'?"
"The same way Severus Snape is a half-blood, Jazz." Danny explained.
"So, Sabrina's father is a muggle and her mother is a witch?" Jazz asked, trying to digest the fact that witches exist.
"No, her father is a wizard, or 'warlock' as they prefer to be called; and her mother is a mortal, as the real-life magical community prefers to say." Danny replied.
"So, Sabrina and her father will obviate anyone outside the family that we tell the secret to?" Jazz asked.
"In fact, Enchantra, the Queen of the Netherworld, said that humans who know the secret without permission will be turned into frogs, Jazz." Danny replied.
"No kidding, little brother." Jazz said, starting to doubt Danny.
"I'm serious, Jazz." Danny said. "We can only know because I'm half-ghost."
"Does Sabrina know about this?" Jazz was worried. She knew Danny would never joke about that.
"Yes, Jazz." Danny replied.
"At least there will be no entrapment." Jazz commented.
"Either way, I am authorized to reveal Sabrina's secret to a mortal outside the family." Danny said. "Who do you think I should tell? Tucker or Sam?"
"Tucker!" Jazz responded without blinking.
"Aren't you afraid he'll spill the beans?" Danny asked, surprised at how quickly she answered his question.
"I'd rather take that risk than put up with Sam's reaction." Jazz explained.
"Why?" Danny asked.
"You're clueless." Jazz said and refused to provide further explanation.
Some time later, Tucker was called to a private meeting with Danny and Jazz. "Tucker, you might be wondering why we called you here." Danny commented.
"It must have something to do with Sabrina since you asked me not to let Sam know." Tucker responded.
"He's smart." Jazz whispered.
"Don't freak out, Tucker, but witches exist." Danny said.
Tucker was slow to react. "Danny, I know ghosts exist but witches?"
"I'm serious, Tucker." Danny said.
"No, that's Harry Potter's godfather." Tucker responded.
"Sabrina is a half-witch, Tucker." Danny said. "Warlock father, mortal mother. The real life equivalent of a half-blood."
"Are we going to be obliviated or something?" Tucker asked, still doubting.
"The laws of the Netherworld say I can tell my family, I'm only telling Jazz because I haven't told my parents my secret yet, and a friend." Danny replied. "And I chose you."
"And what happens if we tell someone without authorization?" Tucker asked.
"We and people without authorization will be turned into frogs." Danny replied.
"I want to meet Sabrina and see some witchcraft demonstration." Tucker demanded.
"I'll talk to her, Tucker." Danny replied.
"I'll see you later." Tucker said and walked away.
"Jazz, do you think I made the right choice telling Tucker instead of Sam?" Danny asked.
"I'm sure, little brother." His sister responded.
Later, Danny called Sabrina. "Sabrina, remember the secret you trusted me with?" he asked.
"Yes, Danny." Sabrina replied.
"Of the people you authorized me to tell, I chose my sister Jazz and my friend Tucker." Danny explained.
"Okay, Danny." Sabrina replied. "I will notify Enchantra."
"There's more." Danny said. "Tucker wants to see a magic demonstration."
"Well, Tucker already knows about witches being real and he's allowed to keep that knowledge so it's no problem." Sabrina replied.
"So is it okay if we come visit you next Saturday?" Danny asked.
"Yes, Danny." Sabrina replied.

Chapter 5: A Goth Suspects
Summary:
Sam decides to investigate Sabrina
Chapter Text
Chapter 5: A Goth Suspects
Danny was doing his homework when Sam Manson barged her way inside. "Daniel James Fenton, what's the meaning of what I heard?"
"What did you hear, Sam?" Danny asked, fearing her answer.
"Tucker is going with you to Greendale." Sam said, frowning at the idea.
"Yes, Sam." Danny replied. "What's wrong with that?"
"Why him and not me?" Sam asked, wanting to confront Sabrina.
"Sam, do you really think your parents would allow you?" Danny asked, hoping it'd appease her.
"You can persuade them like you did when I wanted to go to the gothapalooza, Danny." Sam suggested.
"Sam, this isn't a big event." Danny replied. "I'm just introducing a friend to my girlfriend."
"Danny, don't you find it suspicious a girl who's beautiful enough to be a cheerleader is interested on you?" Sam asked.
"Sam, comments like these are what makes people joke about you wanting more than friendship with me." Danny scolded his goth friend.
"Danny, you're so clueless." Sam muttered.
"Why do people keep saying that?" Danny asked in confusion.
The next day, Sam was trying to convince Tucker to spy on Sabrina. "I'll give you twenty dollars." She pleaded.
"No." Tucker replied.
"Fifty dollars!" Sam insisted.
"No." Tucker continued to refuse.
"Tucker, you must really want to meet one of Sabrina's sisters or cousins." Sam commented, disgusted by Tucker's attitude.
"Yes." Tucker agreed to avoid telling Sam about Sabrina being a witch.
"Whatever." Sam said and walked away.
Frustrated, the goth went home, where her parents were smiling more than usual. "Sammy!" They said.
"What do you want?" Sam knew her parents wouldn't smile like that unless they wanted something from her.
"Sam, do you remember the Stones?" Jeremy asked.
"The Rolling Stones?" Sam sarcastically asked.
"The Stones are one of the richest families in California, Samantha." Pamela replied. "They're coming to Amity Park on business and your father and I invited them to dinner with us. They can increase our standing with the local country club."
Sam was about to tell her parents what she thought of their plans when an idea occurred to her. "These Stones are from Greendale, right?" She asked, having a vague memory of having heard of them before.
"Yes!" Pamela happily responded. "I'm glad you paid attention when I talk about people who might be better friends than that trash you hang out with."
"Don't talk about my friends like that!" Sam demanded.
Eventually, Danny and Tucker went to Greendale. "Tucker, remember not to talk about you-know-what until we're alone with the Spellmans." Danny said.
"Keep cool, Danny." Tucker replied, still not believing that Sabrina was a witch.
Arriving at Sabrina's house, Danny and Tucker were greeted by her and her aunts. "It's good to see you again, Danny." Aunt Zelda commented.
"The pleasure is mine." Danny replied.
Aunt Hilda conjured up a slice of ham and Tucker prepared to eat it. "Turn that into a vegetable." Danny whispered.
To Tucker's horror, the ham he was eating turned into spinach. "Nooooooooooooo! Why? You are an evil witch! I believe it but bring my meat back! I beg you!"
"That Tucker is the most pathetic mortal I have ever seen and I have lived for centuries." Aunt Hilda commented.
As much as he wanted to, Danny couldn't blame Hilda for having that opinion about Tucker. "Anyway, Tucker, do you now believe that witches exist?" Danny asked.
"Yes." Tucker replied as he had an idea. "Sabrina, over at Casper High there are some bullies who make things difficult for Danny and I. How about you turn them into frogs?"
"Tucker!" Danny scolded is friend.
"Do you have any idea how many mortals we would have turned into toads if the Witches' Council accepted that as justification?" Aunt Zelda asked.
'My respect for this Witches' Council has just increased.' Danny thought.
"Can't we make an exception?" Tucker asked, still wanting to get rid of the bullies. "How will the Witches Council know?"
"Don't underestimate them." Sabrina replied. "Or becoming a frog might be the least of your problems."
'Somehow, I still think I made the right choice by telling him the secret instead of telling Sam.' Danny thought.
"Sabrina, are you going to some magic school or something?" Tucker asked.
"There's one hidden in the mortal school she goes to." Aunt Hilda replied.
"And does she have an owl?" Tucker asked, still thinking that magic works like it does in the Harry Potter books.
"We're not in a Harry Potter book." Sabrina replied. "If magic worked on them like it does in real life, Ron Weasley would have been able to turn Scabbers yellow and Gilderoy Lockhart would have been able to stop those pixies."
"And it's not possible for a witch or warlock to have mortal parents." Aunt Zelda added, refusing to use Potterverse terminology.
"Okay, okay." Tucker said. "Look, at my school there's a mean girl named Paulina, who Sam likes to call the Wicked Witch of the West. Is she a real witch?"
"I have no idea." Sabrina replied.
"Believe me." Aunt Zelda said. "If a witch lived in Amity Park, Hilda and I would know."
"That's actually a relief." Danny said, fearing what Paulina would do to get her hands on "her ghost boy" if she could do magic.
"Sabrina, now that I no longer doubt that you are a witch, I need to know: do you have any sisters or cousins?" Tucker asked.
"No, Tucker." Sabrina replied.
Tucker then directed his attention to her aunts. "Girls, anything I can do to rectify this situation?"
Danny slapped his forehead in frustration. "Tucker!"
"In my case, you can introduce me to some guy who is as handsome as you think you are." Aunt Hilda replied. "But he has to be an adult, no matter how young I appear to be."
"See you in 4 years." Tucker replied.
"The most pathetic indeed." Aunt Hilda commented.
"What's next?" Tucker asked. "Can this flea-ridden cat talk?"
"Be careful who you call flea-ridden." Salem ordered, scaring Tucker.
"What's next?" Tucker asked. "Do I win the lottery?"
"If only it were that easy." Salem commented.
Meanwhile, in Amity Park, the Mansons were entertaining the Stones. "And then?" Pamela asked with a forced smile. "How was Paris?"
"It was wonderful, Pamela!" Mrs. Stone promptly responded. "We went to that new bistro that's popular."
"That place that was founded by a guy whose previous restaurant was closed down for being infested with rats?" Sam asked.
"Samantha." Jeremy scolded his daughter.
"I'm sure the rats were a setup by the sous-chef who tried to take over the old restaurant." Mr. Stone said. "The food at the bistro was delicious."
"Gem, you're from Greendale, California, right?" Sam asked.
"Yes." Gem replied, wondering what Sam was getting at.
"In that case, do you know a girl named Sabrina Spellman?" Sam asked, making Gem drop her fork.
"How do you know Spellman?" Gem asked angrily.
"A friend of mine knows her but Sabrina Spellman and I have never been introduced." Sam explained, happy to know that Gem not only knew Sabrina but also hated her.
"That friend is a boy, I presume." Gem said with a mischievous smile.
"Sam, forget it." Pamela ordered but was ignored.
"Yes." Sam said. "So what?"
"You want more than friendship with him, right?" Gem asked.
"No, I'm just worried about him." Sam said but that didn't convince Gem.
"Anyway, Spellman and I were classmates until we graduated from middle school." Gem said.
"Tell me more." Sam asked, hoping to get some dirt on Sabrina.
Back in Greendale, Danny and Tucker said goodbye to the Spellmans and went to the bus station to return to Amity Park. "Remember, Tucker." Danny said. "No telling Sam."
"Don't worry, Danny." Tucker replied. "But if the witches change their minds about Sam knowing the truth, ask them to turn her food into meat." Tucker asked.
Danny rolled his eyes.
Eventually, the Stones left the Manson mansion. "Samantha Manson, your mother and I are very disappointed in you." Jeremy scolded his daughter.
"You were the ones who wanted me to be friends with the Stone girl." Sam argued.
"To boost our social standing, not to get ammunition against your crush's girlfriend." Pamela Manson responded.
"Danny is just my friend and I care about him." Sam lied.
"Not even Gem Stone falls for it and she barely knows you." Jeremy Manson said.
"You two have your reasons for befriending the Stones and I have mine." Sam said. "What's the matter?"
"The problem is, the Fenton kid isn't worth using the Stones, Sammy." Her mother answered.
"Yes, he is." Sam insisted.
When Danny returned to Fentonworks, his parents were relieved. "Danny, did Tucker say or do anything to disgust Sabrina?" Jack asked.
"Surprisingly not, Dad." Danny replied.
"It still would have been better than if I had taken Sam." Maddie commented.
"Why do you think that, Mom?" Danny asked.
"Clueless." Maddie muttered.
Meanwhile, Sam called Tucker. "Did you discover anything bad about Sabrina?" The goth asked.
"No, and I wouldn't tell even if I found out." Tucker replied. "Accept that Danny loves someone other than you."
"You too, Tucker?" Sam asked.
"Sam, everyone but Danny knows you like him." Tucker stated. "You could have confessed your feelings to him but it's too late now."
"Tucker, for all we know, Sabrina could be working for Vlad or planning to make Danny a pig party pig." Sam said.
"Sam, you're turning into a female Vlad." Tucker commented in disgust.
"Don't ever say something like that again." Sam demanded. "I'm just worried like you and Danny were when I was spending time with that creep Gregory."
"We weren't that bad, were we?" Tucker asked.
"Yes, you were." Sam replied. "And neither of you had a crush on me."
"No comments but I'm still not going to help with Sabrina." Tucker replied.
Meanwhile, in her office, Enchantra was reviewing some documents when a guard appeared. "Your Majesty, I'm sorry to interrupt but a prisoner has escaped." He said.
"Who?" She asked worriedly.
"Tim the Witch Smeller." The guard responded.
"How?" Enchantra couldn't understand. "With or without the typical warlock longevity, he is essentially a mortal and no longer had access to his witch hunter equipment."
"He took advantage while we were distracted by a commotion, Your Majesty." The guard explained.
"Send word to Hilda, Zelda, and Sabrina Spellman." Enchantra ordered. "Given the circumstances of the last few times he was captured, it is likely that he plans to take revenge on them."
"Understood." The guard said.
"As if I didn't already have enough problems with Cassandra wanting me to use my power to favor her." Enchantra muttered.
"Speak of the devil." Enchantra said and decided to materialize at her niece's house. "Aunt Enchantra?" Cassandra asked, not expecting her aunt to show up.
"Cassandra, I came here to warn you." Enchantra said. "Tim the Witch Smeller escaped from prison."
"Big deal." Cassandra sarcastically said. "What can a mortal like him do?"
"Don't underestimate him." Enchantra ordered and showed a portrait of Tim. "If you see him around, stay away from him and notify the authorities as soon as you can."
"Yes, Aunt Enchantra." Cassandra responded, deciding this was no time to argue.

Chapter 6: A Hop with a Smeller
Once again, Danny Fenton went to Greendale, California to meet Sabrina. "Thank you for inviting me, Sabrina." Danny said and then noticed how uneasy she looked. "What's wrong, Sabrina? You seem worried."
"Danny, you don't know the half of it." Sabrina replied. "Tim the Witch Smeller escaped."
"Who?" Danny asked, having never heard of Tim the Witch Smeller before.
"A warlock who doesn't have magical powers and, because of that, was bullied by other warlocks and witches while growing up." Sabrina answered. "After studying under Leonardo Da Vinci, he developed anti-magic equipment and started hunting the whole magical community in retaliation."
"Even those who never bullied him before?" Danny asked. He could understand that Tim character wanting revenge on those who bullied him but going after others just for having the same powers didn't sit well with the halfa.
"Hi, Spellman." A new voice interrupted them. "Is that the Danny Fenton I've heard about?"
Sabrina sighed. "Yes, Cassandra. That's Danny Fenton. Danny, this is Enchantra's niece Cassandra."
Danny was surprised. He knew there were witches who looked like normal humans but he didn't expect there'd be any among Enchantra's relatives. "No need to be impressed, Phantom." Cassandra commented.
"What did you call me?" Danny asked, worried that a girl he never met before knew his secret.
"With you knowing about the Netherworld, Aunt Enchantra decided it was time to let us know about you." Cassandra explained.
"Did she tell you about Tim the Witch Smeller?" Danny asked.
"Who cares? He looks like a total geek." Cassandra replied while showing a picture of Tim.
"A geek-looking guy like that manages to be feared by witches?" Danny asked, not understanding why they would feel anything other than disgust at being near a dork.
"Don't underestimate him." Sabrina warned Danny and Cassandra. "His devices make him a serious threat. Especially the spell scrambler."
"Wasn't it destroyed?" Cassandra asked, still underestimating Tim.
"He built that one, he can build another one, Cassandra." Sabrina pointed out.
"There's something I don't understand." Danny commented. "Why is he called 'witch smeller'?"
"He uses an aardvark to sniff out witches and warlocks." Sabrina explained.
"Oooookay." Danny was weirded out but decided he didn't want to know anymore.
"Anyway, I came here to tell you I'm going to the hop with Harvey Kinkle." Cassandra said. "Jealous?"
"No, why would I?" Sabrina asked.
"Don't you and Harvey have some history together?" Cassandra asked.
"Harvey and I are just childhood friends, Cassandra." Sabrina replied. "Don't mind her, Danny."
"Don't worry, Sabrina." Danny reassured his girlfriend. "I have a female best friend and quite a few classmates have made jokes about us being lovebirds."
"Thank you, Danny." Sabrina replied.
"By the way, does Harvey know about you and Cassandra being..." Danny asked.
"No, he doesn't." Sabrina answered.
"I'll tell him after the wedding." Cassandra said. "If we get to that point."
"Was it like that with your parents, Sabrina?" Danny asked.
"I don't know." Sabrina replied. "I can't believe I never asked her when she found out."
Unbeknownst to them, Tim the Witch Smeller was spying on them. "Elton, are you sure that girl with Sabrina Spellman is also a witch?" Tim asked his aardvark. "She could be a mortal with a magical object like that boy from last time."
Elton nodded. "I'll check that later." Tim commented. "What about that boy?"
Elton shrugged. "You don't know what you feel about him?" Tim asked. "Nevermind. We'll find out more about him."
As a guest of the Spellmans, Danny was welcome in their home but Hilda and Zelda were very clear about the rules. "Respect our privacy." Aunt Zelda said.
"Yes, Miss Hilda." Danny replied.
"We're only tolerating you because your powers make you an asset against Tim the Witch Smeller." Salem commented.
"Don't give us a reason to turn you into a frog." Zelda ordered.
After settling into a guest room, Danny called Jazz. "How are you, little brother?" She asked. "Is love steady like magic?"
"Very funny, Jazz." Danny sarcastically replied. "Anyway, remember mom and dad talking about an ancestor of ours who lived in Salem during the time of the witch hunts?"
"John Fenton Nightingale, right?" Jazz asked.
"Yeah." Danny confirmed. "Will you please bring him up in a conversation with our parents and ask about other witch hunters from John's time?"
"I'll talk to them but you'll owe me, little brother." Jazz replied.
After the conversation was over, Danny joined the Spellmans in the living room. "Danny, I appreciate you joining us." Aunt Zelda said. "As a safety measure, Hilda and I have decided that Sabrina cannot be left unattended while outside the block."
"Understood." Danny replied. "That being said, can Sabrina and I go to the ice cream shop?"
"Only if it's the one near here." Aunt Zelda firmly said. "And don't take your time."
"Zelda, they're teenagers." Aunt Hilda tried to be flexible.
"Another reason to want them to come back soon." Zelda argued.
"Danny and I will abide by this rule, Aunt Zelda.
"And pigs will fly." Salem commented.
"Salem!" Sabrina scolded him.
"Pardon my skepticism, Brina, but I don't need to be a warlock to know a teenage boy and a teenage girl are a recipe for disaster even without adding Tim the Witch Smeller." Salem stated.
Meanwhile, Tim the Witch Smeller was celebrating his latest triumph. He had captured Cassandra. "Get me out of here!" she demanded. "Do you know who my aunt is?"
"Another disgusting witch like you," Tim replied.
"She is Enchantra, Queen of the Netherworld, and she will come after you to rescue me." Cassandra declared.
"Then you will serve as bait." Tim declared.
"What's going on?" Harvey asked.
Tim had a chance to respond, Skulker appeared in front of him. "What do you want, ghost?" Tim asked.
"My name is Skulker and I want your help in capturing the half-ghost with the blonde witch." Skulker said.
"Half-ghost, huh?" Tim pondered. "He'll be no match for my... blood blossoms!"
Later, at the ice cream shop, Danny and Sabrina were having fun when Skulker appeared, scaring everyone else into leaving. "Skulker, have you forgotten what happened the last time you attacked me in this town?" Danny asked, counting on Sabrina.
"Powers worth the price, turn that ghost into ice." Sabrina tried to cast a spell but a familiar (to Sabrina) device prevented the spell from working. "How do you have a spell scrambler?" She asked in horror.
"I made someone named Tim an offer he couldn't refuse." Skulker replied. "And the scrambler wasn't the only thing I got from him in our 'deal'." He added as he fired a missile at Danny, who was surprised to see blood blossoms coming out of it.
"How?" Danny asked.
"The more it surprised me that somebody still had these things nowadays, my armor still protected me." Skulker proudly declared.
"What are those things?" Sabrina asked, seeing that they were somehow hurting Danny.
"Blood, ugh, blossoms," Danny replied in pain. "They, ugh, weaken ghosts."
Thinking quickly, Sabrina ran to the supply closet. "Good thing she got away," Skulker commented. "I would have been bored if the spell scrambler had made things too easy."
"Too easy, too hard, ugh" Danny managed to say. "You're never, ugh, satisfied."
"I will be when I hang your skin on my wall." Skulker replied.
"Ewww." Danny reacted as usual.
Suddenly, Sabrina returned with a vacuum cleaner. "Say goodbye to blood blossoms." She said as she vacuumed Danny's weakness.
Furious, Skulker fired at the vacuum cleaner. Fortunately, Danny took advantage of the distraction to fire a beam at the spell scrambler. "Powers worth the price, turn that ghost into ice." Sabrina's spell worked this time.
"I'll take him back to the Ghost Zone." Danny said.
"No!" Sabrina exclaimed. "We need him to tell where Tim the Witch Smeller is hiding."
Sabrina's decision turned out to be the right one since Tim had captured Cassandra and Harvey. Enchantra came personally to thank Sabrina and Danny. "Don't worry about Harvey Kinkle." The Queen said. "We'll erase any and all memories he has of this incident."
"What'll happen to Tim and Skulker?" Danny asked.
"Tim will be returned to solitary confinement and Skulker will be placed in a cell with an anti-ghost enchantment, Danny." Enchantra replied.
"I'm glad to hear that." Danny commented.
"And what about you, Cassandra," Enchantra said. "I hope you've learned your lesson about underestimating enemies."
"Yes, Aunt Enchantra," Cassandra said with a hint of annoyance.
Seeing Enchantra scold her niece like that made Danny understand that witches weren't that different from humans. He eventually returned home. "Jazz, did our parents mention anything about other witch hunters from John Fenton Nightingale's time?" He asked his sister.
"Just some tale about a silly sounding guy called Tim the Witch Smeller." Jazz answered. "What?"
"Jazz, I have a lot to tell you." Danny replied and explained about Tim's true background and abilities.
"Little brother, let me check if I got this right." Jazz said. "Tim the Witch Smeller is still alive and, other than having a warlock's longevity, is essentially a squib?"
"Yes." Danny answered.
"And he met Leonardo Da Vinci and learned how to develop weapons that make him a credible threat to magical people?" Jazz asked, still finding it hard to believe a guy with a name like that could be feared by witches who could easily defeat Skulker.
"Yeah, even I find that hard to believe and I'm used to ghosts." Danny commented.
"Little brother, I have only one request for you." Jazz stated. "If I'm ever turned into a frog, don't let Tucker use it as an excuse to kiss me."
"Request noted, Jazz." Danny replied.
"So, how was the hop?" Jazz asked, wanting to change the subject.
"Sabrina and I had a good time but it was rather uneventful in comparison to the troubles caused by Tim and Skulker." Danny answered.
"I wonder how Tucker will react to this." Jazz said.
"He'll probably want to know more about Cassandra." Danny commented.
"No arguing there, little brother." Jazz agreed.
Danny later met Tucer and learned he was right. "Does Cassandra have a boyfriend?" Tucker asked.
"She went to the hop with their school's basketball team star but I don't know if they're that steady." Danny answered.
"Is this basketball star a jerk like Dash?" Tucker asked.
"He's nicer than Dash, Tucker." Danny answered.
"One can be that and still be a jerk." Tucker argued.
"True but I have yet to see him being a jerk." Danny conceded.
"If he isn't, we should transfer." Tucker suggested.
"Tempting idea, Tucker, but somebody must protect Amity Park from ghosts." Danny sadly replied.
"Stupid ghosts." Tucker grumbled. "Being the reason we can't run away from Dash."
"Life's unfair, Tuck." Danny commented.
"You have no right to say that, Danny." Tucker complained. "Not while you have a girlfriend and I don't."
"For as long as we have to endure Dash, the both of us have that right." Danny argued.
"Anyway, are you sure you don't know any available witches?" Tucker asked.
"Yes, Tucker, I'm sure." Danny answered.
"In that case, is Hilda still waiting for me?" Tucker asked, shocking Danny.
"I'm not dignifying that question with an answer." Danny replied.
"Danny, I cannot count on a girl to wait four whole years even if it's for me." Tucker pleaded.
"We didn't discuss Hilda Spellman's love life." Danny stated. "And, back to the school transfer issue, I still don't know anything about Greendale's other jocks to be sure none of them is a jerk."
"Bummer." Tucker replied.

Ember is trying to get Vlad's help.

Chapter 7: A Girlfriend to the Rescue
"Honestly, Ms. McLain." Vlad said. "I don't know what's harder to believe: you being Skulker's girlfriend; or witches being real and keeping him captive."
"If ghosts can be real, why not witches?" Ember asked. "And besides, for all his flaws, at least he's not obsessed with another guy's wife."
"Burn." The leader of the ghost vultures said.
"Silence!" Vlad commanded and shot an ecto-beam at the vulture.
"Anyway, I need your help against dipstick and his witch girlfriend." Ember stated.
"Is Daniel finally dating Samantha?" Vlad asked with a smirk.
"That goth?" Ember scoffed. "I mean a literal witch."
"Should I be worried about this girlfriend of Daniel's turning me into a frog?" Vlad jokingly asked.
"It'd increase your chances of being kissed by a girl." Ember snarked.
"I hope she brings mouthwash." Another ghost vulture whispered.
"I need your help in rescuing Skulker." Ember said.
Vlad thought it over. "I could overshadow a witch into turning Jack Fenton into something so disgusting Maddie wouldn't want around."
"Another you?" The third ghost vulture asked. Enraged, Vlad shot an ecto-beam at him. "Totally worth it." The vulture commented.
'Plasmius will probably bite more than he can chew but I still can use the distraction.' Ember thought.
Meanwhile, the Fentons were having a conversation of their own. "Danny, you should invite Sabrina over." Jack said. "You already visited her."
"What if she's afraid of coming here?" Danny asked. He really didn't want Sabrina meeting his parents again.
"Tell her your father and I will protect her from any ghosts." Maddie answered.
"Don't worry, little brother." Jazz said. "If Tucker didn't weird her out, our parents have no chance."
"You're right, Jazz." Danny agreed, remembering how Tucker had taken an interest in Hilda.
"Why does it seem like Tucker did something weirder than we're used to?" Jack asked Maddie.
"I don't think we want to know, Jack." Maddie replied apprehensively.
"Me neither." Jack said.
After this conversation, Danny called Sabrina. "What do you say, Sabrina?" Danny asked.
"My aunts are still worried that your parents are hunting witches in addition to hunting ghosts, but I'll try to convince them." Sabrina replied.
"Oooookay." Danny said.
Days later, Sabrina was in Amity Park. "Remember, Danny, people in Amity Park might know that ghosts exist but I'm not ready to let them know the same applies to witches." Sabrina said. "So don't expect me to openly use my powers against them."
Someone then approached the happy couple. "What's a cute girl like you doing with a loser like him?"
"Beat it, Dash." Danny ordered.
"Fenton, if you know what's best for you, you'll..." Dash was saying until he tripped on his shoelaces.
"Learn how to tie your shoes." Sabrina said as she pulled Danny away. "Is that one of the bullies you and Tucker wanted me to turn into frogs?" She asked Danny.
"Yes." Danny answered. "Did you..."
"What that Dash and the Witches' Council don't know won't hurt them." She answered. "Or us."
"I like the way you think, Sabrina." Danny commented.
After escaping from Dash, Danny and Sabrina went to Fentonworks. "Good to see you again, Sabrina." Jack said.
"Likewise, Mr. and Mrs. Fenton." Sabrina replied.
"Sabrina, do you and Danny want cookies?" Maddie offered.
"Yes, Mom. Thank you." Danny replied as he took a cookie.
"Thank you, Mrs. Fenton." Sabrina added as she took another cookie.
Suddenly, they heard the doorbell. "Are we expecting another visitor?" Jazz asked.
"No." Jack replied and the other Fentons agreed with him. He went to check and it was Sam. "Is Sabrina there?" The goth girl asked.
"Sabrina, this is my other best friend Sam Manson." Danny made the introductions. "Sam, this is my girlfriend Sabrina Spellman." He said, not knowing how Sam felt hearing Danny describe her that way.
"Nice to meet you, Sam." Sabrina said, trying to be polite.
"I've heard about you from a mutual friend," Sam commented. "Gem Stone."
"Ugh." Sabrina reacted. "Gem isn't exactly a friend of mine. And you must be rich for Gem to consider you her friend."
'I won't deny that Gem gave me that impression,' Sam thought. "I don't like to talk about it, but yes." She admitted it.
"Who's Gem?" Danny asked in confusion.
"A former classmate of mine." Sabrina answered. "She's a spoiled brat who thinks her family's money places her above other people."
"True, it does sound like the impression I had of her." Sam conceded. 'And it explains why my parents wanted me to befriend her.' She mentally added.
"Then why did you bring her up, Sam?" Danny asked.
"No special reason." Sam quickly lied.
"Sam, you'd better not be here to interfere with Danny and Sabrina." Jazz scolded the goth.
"Jazz, why do you think she'd do that?" Danny asked, still oblivious to Sam's feelings.
"Little brother, you're so clueless." Jazz commented and their parents nodded.
"Danny, how about you show me more of Amity Park while Sam and Jazz chat?" Sabrina suggested.
"Good idea, Sabrina." Danny replied.
Danny took Sabrina to the mall. Their first stop was the food court, where they had lunch. "That was a good meal," Sabrina commented. "Now what?"
"Do you like arcade games, Sabrina?" Danny asked. The two of them played a racing game. "Ha!" She exclaimed. "I win!"
"We paid for three races, Sabrina." Danny pointed out.
Two races later, Sabrina was happy for her overall victory. "One out of three wasn't bad." Danny said.
As they left the game place, they chanced upon Tucker. "Hi, guys." Tucker said.
"Nice to see you, Tuck." Danny replied.
"Better you than Dash." Sabrina commented.
"Oh, you met him?" Tucker asked and then whispered. "Did you turn him into a frog?"
"You already know how I feel about it." Sabrina answered.
"No harm in asking." Tucker shrugged.
"You wouldn't be so sure about that if you'd asked the Witches' Council, Tucker," Sabrina commented.
"I'd rather not know," Tucker replied.
"Wise decision." Sabrina agreed.
"Well, I don't want to ruin your date any further." Tucker said. "Bye."
"So what do we do now?" Danny asked.
Sabrina noticed a famliar wisp coming from his mouth. "Now you go ghost." She said.
"BEWARE!" The ghost said as he phased his way from the floor. "I am the Box Ghost, master of all thi..." He then took a look at Sabrina. "Aaaaaaaahhhhhhh! That's the witch Skulker warned us ghosts about!" He screamed and flew away.
"I hope all ghosts are that afraid of you." Danny commented.
"Not if one of them decides to tell the mortals about me." Sabrina whispered.
"Who'd take the Box Ghost seriously?" Danny dismissively asked.
Meanwhile, at Fentonworks, Sam was trying to get Danny's family to tell more about Sabrina. "For the last time, Sam, we find nothing wrong with that Sabrina girl." Maddie stated, tired of Sam's desire for Danny.
"Mrs. Fenton, don't you find odd that a beautiful girl likes Danny?" Sam asked.
"More beautiful than you, you mean." Jack said.
Their conversation was interrupted by the Box Ghost. "Hurry! Send me back to the Ghost Zone before that witch catches me!" He pleaded.
"Which witch?" Maddie asked and quickly regretted using those two words together.
"The one dating your son!" The Box Ghost screamed.
"Danny's not dating Paulina." Sam protested.
"Not her." The Box Ghost said. "A literal witch. I'm talking about the blonde dating him. Sabrina Spellman!"
"Nonsense." Jack replied with a frown. "Just because 'spell' is part of her name it doesn't mean she's a witch. What comes next: suspecting Danny Fenton and Danny Phantom are the same because of the name similarities?"
"Just send me back, please." The Box Ghost said.
"Whatever." Jack shrugged and led the ghost to the portal.
"Could you believe that ghost?" Maddie asked. "Expecting us to think witches are real."
"I might as well check John Fenton Nightingale's notes." Jack commented.
"Good idea, Mr. Fenton." Sam agreed, hoping it'd distract them from figuring out Danny's secret.
Meanwhile, back at the mall, Danny and Sabrina stopped in front of a shop where Danny intended to buy a game. He was about to enter when he heard his phone ring. "Sam?"
"Danny, you probably won't believe it but the Box Ghost showed up at your home and told some story about your girlfriend being a witch and not the kind I say Paulina is." Sam said.
"Really?" Danny asked, trying to sound convincing. "Where would he get that idea?"
"Maybe he thinks Sabrina is Gem Stone's friend." Sam suggested.
"Or Paulina's." Danny joked, partly for the joke and partly to keep Sam from knowing the truth.
"Probably." Sam agreed.
After that phone conversation, Danny spoke to Sabrina. "What happens now that Sam knows the truth?"
"Well, she didn't believe him so it's probably no harm done." Sabrina replied.
Danny was worried about the 'probably' but decided not to say anything.
Their conversation was interrupted when Sabrina's cell phone rang. "Aunt Zelda?"
"Sabrina, is Danny with you?" Zelda Spellman asked urgently. "I need to talk to him!"
Sabrina handed the phone to Danny. "Is there a problem?"
"Danny, does the name Ember McLain mean anything to you?" Zelda asked.
"She's one of my ghost enemies, Zelda." Danny replied, worried that someone would ask about Ember.
"That's what I feared," Zelda commented. "Ember McLain is going to be performing in the Netherworld, and I don't think it's a coincidence that it's happening so soon after Skulker's capture."
"I feel the same way," Danny replied.
"Unfortunately, we can't just do anything to her without catching her breaking Netherworld laws," Zelda stated. "Your help would still be appreciated, though."
"I'd be happy to help," Danny replied.
Meanwhile, at the Manson Mansion, Jeremy Manson was making an announcement. "Good news! I've bought a vacation home in Greendale! This will give us an excuse to get closer to the Stones, and if that doesn't work out, we can earn some extra income by renting the house out!"
"Hooray." Sam said sarcastically.
"At least the rent will make this not a complete waste of time and money," Ida commented.
"You never had any faith in my business acumen, Mother," Jeremy complained.
"You never gave me a reason to." She replied.
"You'll eat your words when our friendship with the Stones increases our status at the country club," Jeremy declared.
"We'll be on Mars before that happens, Jeremy." Ida replied.
"Good one, Grandma!" Sam exclaimed in approval.
Meanwhile, in the Netherworld, Ember was practicing. "Ember, are you sure Skulker is worth this?" Kitty asked. "You could have a better boyfriend. Or be alone."
"That advice goes for you too, Kitty." Penelope Spectra commented.
"Stay out of it." Johnny 13 ordered.
"You're not the boss of me." Spectra replied.
"Please remember that we're here to free the Skulker." Ember pleaded.
"That's why you're here." Kitty corrected her. "I'm here because I wanted to see a new environment."
"I'm here for Kitty." Johnny 13 added.
"And I'm here to see if I can hurt the Phantom." Spectra said.
"This is going to be a long night." Ember muttered.

Chapter 8: A Scary Show
Summary:
Ember performs at the Netherworld.
Chapter Text
Chapter 8: A Scary Show
At Tucker's house, Danny told him about Ember McLain's upcoming concert. "No wonder Queen Enchantra wants your help." The techno-geek commented. "I'm scared that Ember could control people who could easily turn us into frogs."
"No kidding." Danny replied. "After seeing how easily Sabrina dealt with Skulker, I don't like the idea of Ember controlling people equally if not more powerful than her either."
"Danny, could this convince Enchantra to let Sam know about the Netherworld?" Tucker suggested.
"Good idea, but I'll ask Sabrina first," Danny said.
Days later, Danny was back at Greendale. "Tucker would have come but he didn't have an excuse for his parents." He commented to Sabrina.
"After the last time he was here, I'm honestly relieved." Sabrina replied. "Sorry, Danny."
"It's okay, Sabrina." Danny said. He couldn't blame her after how he flirted with her aunt.
Suddenly, a limousine pulled up to them. A window rolled down and Sabrina saw a familiar face. "Gem?" Sabrina asked, surprised to see an old classmate.
"Hi, Spellman." Gem said with a smirk. "Long time no see. Who's the other loser?"
'I barely know this girl and I'm already sure she's just as bad as Paulina.' Danny thought. "We're not losers."
"Keep telling yourself this." Gem replied. "I'd ask your name but you're not worth it. Bye."
"Ugh, she makes the A-Listers seem nice." Danny commented.
"Really?" Sabrina asked while thinking of Dash.
"Barely." Danny conceded.
"Fair enough." Sabrina commented with a smile.
Meanwhile, in another part of town, the Mansons were unpacking their bags. "Hurry up, Sammykins," Her mother ordered. "We need to be ready for the Stones."
"Mom, we haven't even sent out the invitations yet," Sam argued. "Are they really worth the trouble?"
"Of course they are, Sam," Jeremy Manson replied as if his daughter were stupid for asking.
"More than your loser friends, at least," Pamela Manson added.
"Don't call them that." Sam was angry.
"Samantha, don't talk to your mother like that." Jeremy scolded his daughter.
"I'm going for a walk." Sam muttered.
"Go to the mall and buy new clothes." Pamela replied. "Preferably something I would wear if I were your age."
"Not even if they were the last clothes in the world!" Sam said and left the house before her parents could respond.
"We allowed her to spend too much time with your mother." Pamela told her husband.
"It was either that or spend more time with Samantha and endure her whining, Pamela." Jeremy replied.
"I suppose I could've taken her to more tea parties and more country club events." Pamela suggested.
As Sam walked as far as possible from her parents' Greendale home, she spotted Danny and Sabrina and hid herself so they wouldn't notice her. As she saw them enter a place she recognized as a school, she decided to go after them.
Oblivious to the fact Sam was following them, Sabrina was leading Danny to a secret room. Fortunately, before Sam could see any signs of witchcraft, someone spotted her. "What are you doing here, young lady?" The man asked. "I know you're not a student here."
"I'm new in town, Sir." Sam replied. "I'm here to enroll."
"In that case, come to my office to fill in the paperwork." The man ordered with a polite smile. "I'm Mr. Snipe. What's your name?"
Meanwhile, Sabrina led Danny to a magical classroom. "Should I have brought an owl?" He jokingly asked.
"This is no Harry Potter book, young man." The response came from a woman Danny would described as an obese version of Coach Tetslaff if not for the fact he was just as scared of her than he was of the actual Coach Tetslaff. "Spellman, is this Danny Fenton?"
"Yes, Ms. Magrooney." Sabrina fearfully answered.
"Nice to meet you, Ms. Magrooney." Danny said, trying to be polite.
"Were you followed?" Ms. Magrooney asked while pointing an accusing finger at Danny.
"N-No, ma'am." Danny answered.
"Tell that to Mr. Snipe." Cassandra said as she entered the classroom. "I've just seen him escorting a goth girl into his office."
"Sam?" Danny asked in horror.
"You have a lot to explain, Phantom." Ms. Magrooney firmly stated.
Danny and the three witches ran into Mr. Snipe's office. "Sam?" Danny asked, shocked to see her.
"Sam?" Mr. Snipe asked in confusion. "This girl told me her name was Paulina Sanchez."
"She lied, Mr. Snipe." Sabrina mentioned. "Her name is Samantha Manson."
"It's Sam!" Sam shouted angrily, confirming Sabrina's statement.
"So you admit you lied to me, young lady?" Mr. Snipe asked.
"Oops." Sam sheepishly said.
"Miss Manson, I'm going to call your parents." Mr. Snipe declared.
"Not so fast, Mr. Snipe." Ms. Magrooney said. "I'm afraid she believed the Box Ghost."
"What does he have to do with this?" Sam asked, surprised that he had been brought up in the conversation.
"He told you about me being a witch, Sam," Sabrina said. "Ms. Magrooney thinks you believed him and came here because of it."
"Are you crazy?" Sam asked. "I know ghosts exist, but witches?"
"After what you just pulled, we can't be sure you don't believe it anymore." Mr. Snipe said. "We'll have to notify Enchantra."
"Is he a warlock too?" Danny asked. "Are all the teachers at this school magicals too?"
"Just Ms. Magrooney and Mr. Snipe, Danny." Sabrina replied.
"This is a joke, right?" Sam asked. "What are you going to do? Turn me into a frog?"
"That's a possibility," Mr. Snipe casually replied.
"This prank has gone on long enough," Sam complained. "Either call my parents or let me go."
Enchantra materialized in the office. "The choice is mine, Manson."
"Who are you?" Sam asked as she recovered from her shock.
"I am delighted to introduce you to my Aunt Enchantra, Queen of the Netherworld." Cassandra said with a smile that reminded Sam of Paulina.
"Thank you, Cassandra," Enchantra said. "I'll take it from here."
Before Sam could blink, everyone was transported from Mr. Snipe's room to a place that looked like a medieval village but with supernatural beings.
"Okay, now I believe you." Sam commented.
"Under normal circumstances, I would turn you into a frog and Danny Phantom would have a hard time convincing me to change my mind, but since we're worried about Ember McLain, I can make an exception and let you know about us." Enchantra declared.
"Ember?" Sam asked.
"She's planning on putting on a show in the Netherworld." Danny explained.
"So why doesn't she just turn Ember into a ghost frog?" Sam asked as she looked at Enchantra.
"I can't do that unless she broke the laws of the Netherworld." Enchantra replied. "Putting a spell on a ghost as a form of self-defense or defending others is one thing, but I'm not going to punish someone just because I think they're going to do something wrong."
"Danny and I can tell you about the times she caused trouble in Amity Park," Sam said.
"The Ghost Zone isn't part of the Netherworld." Enchantra explained. "While what she did to mortals warrants caution, it's not our jurisdiction."
"Tucker could help," Sam suggested. "We could let him know about the magical world."
"He already knows," Sabrina said. "Every supernatural being can reveal the Netherworld to family and up to one mortal friend."
"And you chose Tucker?" Sam asked, offended.
"Jazz's idea!" Danny quickly replied.
"Have you told your family?" Sam asked.
"Only Jazz," Danny said. "I haven't even told my parents that I'm half-ghost yet."
"Fair enough." Sam muttered. "Anyway, I'm willing to help since I don't like the idea of Ember controlling witches.
They (except for Ms. Magrooney and Mr. Snipe) went to the Netherworld. "I can't believe I'm seeing the Netherworld in person!" Sam happily exclaimed. "It's like a dream come true."
"A dream that will turn into a nightmare if Ember wins." Danny pointed out.
"We're all worried that Ember plans to hypnotize everyone here, but could this just be a distraction while someone rescues Skulker?" Sabrina asked.
"No, Sabrina." Danny dismissed it. "He may have friends among my enemies but it's not like any of them care all that much about him."
"Maybe he has a ghost girlfriend." Sabrina suggested.
"He claims to have a girlfriend but I don't take that seriously, Sabrina." Danny replied. "He also claims to be the greatest hunter in the Ghost Zone."
"Danny, did you happen to bring Fenton Phones with you?" Sam asked.
"A pair for me and one for Sabrina," Danny replied. "I didn't expect you to come."
"What are Fenton Phones?" Enchantra asked.
"They're devices that filter out spectral noise and people who use them can communicate among themselves, Queen Enchantra." Danny answered.
"It makes sense for you to keep one pair, but the other should be given to someone more powerful than a half-witch." Cassandra arrogantly suggested.
"I'll take them." Enchantra said.
"Half-witch?" Sam asked.
"My father is a warlock and my mother is a mortal." Sabrina explained and Sam decided it wasn't time to ask any more questions.
"Stll somewhat better than being a mortal like you, Manson." Cassandra commented, confirming Sam's belief that's what Paulina would be had the latter been a literal witch.
A motorcycle was just heard and Johnny 13 and Kitty revealed themselves. "What's a cutie like you doing in a place like this?" Johnny asked.
"I'm here for Ember's show." Cassandra replied while blushing.
"I was talking to that blonde." Johnny stated while pointing at Sabrina, making Cassandra frown.
"I'm Danny's girlfriend." Sabrina said.
"And Kitty was yours the last time I checked." Danny pointed out.
"So what?" Johnny dismissively asked.
Enraged, Cassandra turned him into a frog. "Good job, Cassandra." Sam said, while the goth didn't like the witch version of Paulina but she hated Johnny even more.
"Will he stay like this forever?" Kitty asked, afraid of what the witches would do to her.
"You can turn him back by kissing him." Enchantra explained.
"I'll do it once I'm reassured he's learned his lesson." Kitty commented.
"He'll stay like this forever." Danny whispered to Sabrina.
"A thought just came to my mind." Cassandra commented. "What are you going to tell your parents about not being with them during the night of the show?" She asked Sam.
"I'll sneak out." Sam replied.
That night, Danny, Sabrina and Sam were watching Ember's show, unaware that her allies were about to break Skulker out of prison. "You took your time to kiss me." Johnny 13 complained to Kitty.
"Be glad you were needed for the plan or you'd still be a frog." Kitty replied.
Penelope Spectra's assistant Bertrand took the form of a panther and scared the guards, allowing her, Johnny, and Kitty to free the Skulker. Meanwhile, Vlad Plasmius was freeing another prisoner. "Timothy the Witch Smeller, I presume." The fruitloop said.
"I go by Tim but you're otherwise correct." Tim the Witch Smeller replied.
"Either way, I believe we have a lot to discuss." Vlad stated.
Back at the show, Sabrina figured out mind control wasn't the plan. "It's a catchy song but I don't feel any spells." The half-witch commented.
"Me neither." Cassandra added.
"As relieved as I am that Ember isn't controlling the minds of people who might turn others into frogs, I still worry about what she might be up to." Sam said.
"Maybe she just wants to become rich and famous in the Netherworld." Cassandra suggested. "Encore! Encore!"

Chapter 9: The Terror Team
Summary:
Tim the Witch Smeller teams up with ghosts.
Chapter Text
Chapter 9: The Terror Team
At a secret chamber inside Vlad's mansion, the fruitloop was discussing things with his newest ally. "As you can see, Tim, my enemy Daniel Phantom is dating the witch known as Sabrina Spellman and you can help me to negate the edge she gives him." Plasmius said.
"Mr. Plasmius, the more I'd love to eliminate witches like the Spellmans, I no longer have a spell scrambler or the means to make a new one." Tim the Witch Smeller replied.
"I can assist you with that part, Timothy." Vlad stated with a malicious smile.
Meanwhile, at the Manson Mansion, Danny, Tucker, and Sam were talking about the Netherworld. "So Sam is now also allowed to know about the Witches?" Tucker asked and the others nodded.
"And now Skulker and Tim the Witch Smeller are on the loose again." Danny added.
"I still think that name is funny," Tucker commented.
"Why don't the witches turn him into a frog?" Sam suggested.
"Maybe they think he'd look better as a frog," Tucker joked.
"Honestly, I don't see why the witches take him seriously." Sam commented.
"He can make a device that scrambles spells, Sam." Danny explained. "My enemies need it to negate the edge Sabrina has against them."
"Danny, as your friend and ally, I have a very important question to ask you." Tucker said solemnly. "Is this Cassandra girl available?"
"Tucker, didn't you hear us say that Cassandra is basically Paulina as a literal witch?" Sam asked with a frown.
"Which means she's pretty." Tucker replied, and began to salivate.
"Tucker, the biggest problem is what my enemies will do to Sabrina." Danny tried to adjust Tucker's sense of priorities.
"True," Sam added. As much as she resented Sabrina for her involvement with Danny, the goth didn't want any harm to come to her.
"Before Sabrina's Dad decides to blame you for your enemies going after her." Tucker commented.
"Tucker, as much as I love Sabrina, there are things more important than earning her father's approval." Danny sternly said.
"Yes." Tucker agreed. "Her Aunts' approval. Especially Aunt Hilda's."
"What's so special about this Aunt Hilda?" Sam asked in spite of fearing the answer.
"She looks young enough for Tucker to avoid minding the age gap." Danny answered.
"I should've known." Sam commented in disgust.
"But she still insists in only dating other adults so I said I'll see her in 4 years." Tucker said. "Unless, of course, another girl shows up and becomes my girlfriend."
"Fat chance of that happening." Sam muttered. "Anyway, I can only think of one enemy thinking of using Tim the Witch Smeller's help and breaking him out of prison for it."
"Technus?" Tucker asked.
"Okay, two but I'm still thinking of the other one." Sam conceded.
Meanwhile, back at Vlad's mansion, Tim the Witch Smeller was showing the ghosts the designs for his spell scrambler. "Mr. Plasmius, are you sure you can provide me with the means to make new spell scramblers?" The witch hunter asked.
"Yes, Timothy." Vlad answered with a smile.
"It's Tim." Tim corrected his sponsor.
Days later, Danny was readying himself for another trip to Greendale. "Danny, why doesn't Sabrina come to Amity Park again?" Jack asked.
"Her family is concerned about ghost attacks, Dad." Danny answered and it was technically true since the ghosts in questions teamed up with Tim the Witch Smeller.
"I can't blame them." Jack commented.
"Anyway, son, just enjoy your date." Maddie said.
"And, if you want to make her family feel it safe to be in Amity Park, tell them about my latest invention." Jack eagerly added. "It..." An explosion from the lab interrupted the conversation. "Uh, never mind."
Danny eventually arrived at the Spellman's residence but became worried as he found nobody there. "Hello?" He asked. "Sabrina? Hilda? Zelda? Salem?"
"Danny?" Salem eventually responded. "I'm glad it's you! Tim the Witch Smeller and a bunch of ghosts came here and too Brina and her Aunts!"
"What were those ghosts like?" Danny asked.
"Their leader looked like a vampire." Salem answered, reminding Danny of Plasmius. "One of the others was a punk biker who flirted with Hilda in spite of his own girlfriend being in the room. What a jerk."
"Johnny and Kitty." Danny whispered.
"Anyway, we've gotta rescue them." Salem said, worried about the Spellmans.
"Where did the ghosts take them?" Danny asked.
Salem thought about it before answering. "There are so many witches and warlocks the witch hunters, even with spell scramblers, cannot just barge into the Netherworld and capture everyone in sight. They must imprison the captured ones somewhere until the few left can be conquered. I'd first try the house where Tim the Witch Smeller kept his victims when he was first caught."
"Good idea!" Danny exclaimed. "Lead the way."
Salem turned out to be right as he and Danny saw the latter's enemies taking more captured witches to Tim's former hideout. "What do we do?" Salem asked.
"Leave it to me!" Danny replied and turned himself invisible and intangible. Once inside the house, he used ghostly beams to destroy the spell scramblers. By the time the villains were aware of what was happening, Danny was already done.
"Whelp, you might have foiled Plasmius' plans but I'm finally going to hang your pelt on my wall." Skulker declared.
"No, you won't." Ms. Magrooney replied as she and Mr. Snipe entered the place. The two magicals used their spells to stop the ghosts except for Plasmius, who flew away.
"What do we do about the fruitloop?" Sam asked.
"If you mean Plasmius, I'll see to it that he's captured as soon as he's caught in a place with no spell scramblers or mortal witnesses." Enchantra declared. "No one attacks one of my citizens and gets away with it."
Later on, Vlad was back at his mansion, where he had several spell scramblers set just in case the witches tried to capture him. I should have known it was a bad idea." Vlad moaned. "Fortunately my anti-ghost security will keep Daniel from destroying the spell scramblers that keep the witches from coming after me."
"I thought his face and personality were enough to keep any women from approaching him." One of his ghost vultures whispered to another one.
"I heard that." Vlad said.
Meanwhile, at Fentonworks, Team Phantom was discussing ways to get around Vlad's spell scramblers. "Can't you just hack your way into controlling them?" Danny asked Tucker.
"It's not as easy as TV makes it seem, Danny." Tucker explained. "They must be connected to the Internet or at least some sort of remote control."
"Are you saying there's nothing you can do?" Sam asked.
"Technically, I could start an electromagnetic pulse and inutilize the spell scramblers." Tucker answered. "It's too risky to try a second time so, if we try this, we'd better make sure there are enough wizards and warlocks ready to arrest Vlad."
"I'll talk to Sabrina about it." Danny replied and took out a crystal ball.
"Really?" Tucker asked, not believing what he was seeing. "I know she's a witch but this isn't the Middle Ages anymore. Doesn't she have a cell phone?"
"Cell phones can be hacked, Tucker," Danny explained. "If the same can be done with crystal balls, I doubt Vlad and the Guys in White know how."
Tucker hesitated before replying. "I withdraw my objection."
Danny tried to call Sabrina but it was Salem who answered. "Hi, Danny." The warlock turned cat said.
"Hi, Salem." Danny answered. "Can I talk to Sabrina?"
"She's not home right now," Salem explained. "Can I take a message?"
Danny explained the plan to capture Vlad. "This is serious," Salem commented. "I'll talk to Hilda and Zelda, and Enchantra will probably call in Detectives Hutsky and Starch."
The name sounded slightly familiar to Tucker. "Did you just say Starsky..."
"Hutsky and Starch." Salem corrected the techno geek.
"Anyway, just call us once a schedule is ready on your end, okay?" Danny asked.
"Yes, Danny." Salem replied and the magical call ended.
"Tucker, who's Starsky?" Sam asked.
"Oh, he's a protagonist of a TV show my Dad used to watch." Tucker answered.
The next Saturday, Vlad was trying to enjoy his day when suddenly all electronic devices at his mansion stopped working. "Butter biscuits!" The fruitoop exclaimed. "What coud be worse?"
Two warlocks then materialized in front of him. "Vlad Masters, we're Detectives Hutsky and Starch." One of them said. "You're under arrest for crimes against the Netherworld."
"You'll have to catch me first." Vlad declared and tried to go ghost but Enchantra stopped him with a spell.
Next Monday, there was a news report about Mayor Masters' disappearance. "V-Man, where are you?" Jack desperately asked.
"Two days ago, an electromagnetic pulse disabled all electronics at Mayor Masters' mansion and nobody has seen him ever since." The Deputy Mayor announced. "At first, the authorities assumed he was abducted by terrorists but, since there were no signs of forced entry, it's now believed he was abducted by ghosts."
"They'll pay for it!" Jack furiously declared.
"To locate our Mayor, I've decided to call the best ghost hunters ever." The Deputy Mayor said.
"We're on our way." Jack said while glancing at Maddie.
"The Guys in White." The Deputy Mayor said as some Guys in White appeared on-screen.
"Don't worry, V-Man!" Jack said. "I won't let you pay for your deputy's mistake!"
"Did the witches turn him into a frog, little brother?" Jazz asked Danny.
"No, he's just in an enchanted prison he cannot escape from without outside help, Jazz." Danny answered.
"So, are we free from your enemies?" Jazz asked.
"Only those who were involved in this magical mess." Danny clarified.
"Does that mean we still have to worry about the Crate Creep?" Jazz asked.
"He's the Box Ghost and there's no need to worry about him." Danny replied.
Enraged, the Box Ghost came through the Fenton Portal. "Hey, I have feelings!"
"Whatever." Danny said and the Box Ghost left.
"I see a lot of extra time in your future." Jazz commented.
"Yeah." Danny agreed. "More time to date, study, and hang out with friends."
"Preferably study." Jazz commented and Danny didn't dignify it with an answer.
"Kids!" Jack called. "Your mother and I will look for V-Man! If we're not back on time for dinner, eat an emergency ham!"
"Do we have enough cash for bail, Jazz?" Danny asked his sister after their parents left.
"Only if I sell my car, little brother." Jazz answered.
"Are you in favor of ordering a pizza?" Danny asked.
"I thought of that before you did." Jazz answered.
"The usual flavor?" Danny asked.
"Sure, little brother." Jazz replied.
"What are we going to tell Dad when he asks why we didn't eat the emergency ham?" Danny asked.
"That we didn't want to eat it." Jazz replied, not bothering to make up an excuse.
"Okay." Danny commented. He also didn't feel like mincing words when discussing the emergency ham.

Chapter 10: A Day Without the Fruitloop
Danny Fenton was ready to enjoy a day without Vlad Plasmius. "Son, I know you're about to go on a date with Sabrina but how can you be so happy when Vlad is in danger?" Jack asked.
"Jack, he's too young to be involved in this." Maddie intervened. "Let him have fun now that Sabrina finally feels it's safe to visit Amity Park."
"Anyway, your mom and I are going to look for my friend." Jack said. "If we don't make it back in time for dinner, that means we haven't found him yet."
'Or that you've been arrested again.' Danny thought.
"Mom, Dad, good luck." Jazz said, feigning sincerity.
"Thanks, Jazzypants!" Jack exclaimed.
"If they keep going like that, I'll tell them my secret and Vlad's just to make them stop." Danny commented after his parents left.
"That seems like a good idea right now, little brother." Jazz nodded.
"Unfortunately." Danny sadly stated.
"Are you going to tell them Sabrina's secret as well?" Jazz asked. "We already have permission from her and her fellow witches."
"Not yet, Jazz." Danny answered. "For now I'm just readying myself for my date."
Once he was done, he flew to a bus station to wait for Sabrina. Fortunately, it wasn't a long wait.
"Good to see you again, Danny!" Sabrina exclaimed.
"The feeling is mutual, Sabrina." Danny replied.
"So, where are we going?" Sabrina asked.
"We're going to watch a movie and then another walk through the mall." Danny suggested.
Upon arriving there, Danny and Sabrina saw some A-Listers. "Dash, you weren't kidding." Kwan commented. "Fenton is dating a girl too beautiful for him."
"Any girl more beautiful than the goth would fit the description but I see your point, Dash." A girl said.
"Paulina, don't you have anything better to do?" Danny asked with a frown.
"Buy clothes, buy make-up, buy Danny Phantom merchandise, trick nerds into doing my homework..." Danny and Sabrina decided to ignore her at this point.
"Let's leave." Danny suggested and Sabrina nodded.
"Where do you think you're going?" Dash asked as he grabbed Danny.
"What do you think you're doing?" A security guard asked.
"Uh, nothing." Dash quickly answered as he let Danny go.
"I'll keep an eye on you." The guard told Dash as he motioned for Danny and Sabrina to walk away.
"Just seeing the faces of the bullies when the guard caught them made this the best date I ever had." Danny commented with a smile.
"I thought my presence would make this the best date you've ever had." Sabrina teased Danny.
"This isn't our only date and what happened with the bullies was the tie-breaker, Sabrina." Danny explained and they went to see a movie.
"I doubt spies are like the ones we saw in the movie." Sabrina commented after the end.
"Maybe that's what spies want us to think." Danny commented. 'Wow, I guess I spent too much time with my dad.' He thought.
"Danny, how about playing a game?" Sabrina suggested.
"I hope you like racing." Danny replied.
Five racing games later (Sabrina won 3x2), Sabrina was ready to go back to Greendale. "It was a fun date but I have to go home." She said.
"I'll walk you to the bus station." Danny offered.
"Danny, you're such a gentleman." Sabrina appreciated the offer.
At the bus station, Sabrina and Danny exchanged a goodbye kiss before she entered the bus. "Tucker will be so jealous." Danny commented.
After Danny went back home, he called his friends. "She kissed you?" Tucker was upset. "That's so unfair! Why can't I get a girl to kiss me? I'm as beautiful as I'm modest!"
"True." Sam snarked.
"Hey." Tucker protested upon realizing what Sam meant.
"Have I told you about how the mall guard caught the A-Listers?" Danny asked and, as soon as his friends nodded, told everything. "The second best part of the date. Loses only to the kiss."
"True." Tucker agreed. "So, any news on Hilda? Or Cassandra?"
"Tucker, you do remember the real age gap between you and Hilda, right?" Danny asked out of concern.
"For as long as she looks young and beautiful enough, I don't." Tucker answered. "The age gap between Sabrina's parents didn't bother them."
"Sabrina's Mom was already an adult by the time she and Mr. Spellman met, I hope." Danny said.
"What about the fact Cassandra is basically who Paulina would be if she were a literal witch?" Sam asked.
"She's still a beautiful teenage girl, Sam." Tucker replied. "What else could I want?"
"Someone who likes you for you, Tucker." Sam answered.
"Introduce me to someone like that and I'll forget about Hilda, Cassandra, and even Paulina." Tucker said in defiance.
"Easier said than done." Sam muttered.
"I'm not sure what to feel about this "victory"." Tucker commented.
"Anyway, I've got homework to do and I'd better start doing it before something interrupts me." Danny said and then felt his ghost sense.
"BEWARE!" The Box Ghost said. "I am..."
"We all know that, Boxy." Danny interrupted the ghost. "Go away or I'll suck you into a thermos."
"Beware." The Box Ghost said as he left.
"As I was saying, I'd better start doing my homework before a ghost more threatening than the Box Ghost interrupts me." Danny said.
30 minutes after the conversation ended, Danny finished the homework. His sister Jazz then showed up. "Little brother, Mom and Dad were arrested... again." She said.
"If looking for that fruitloop is leading to that, I must take a drastic measure." Danny somberly stated.
"Danny, you're not going to reveal Sabrina's secret to our parents, are you?" Jazz asked in worry.
"No, Jazz, I won't reveal her secret." Danny replied.
"Then what..." Jazz then realized. "Oh, no."
"Oh yes, Jazz." Danny stated. "I will tell them I'm Danny Phantom and that Vlad Masters is the Wisconsin Ghost."
"Wisconsin Ghost, and you think I come up with lame names for ghosts." Jazz comment.
"I still do." Danny replied, teasing his sister.
"Very funny, little brother." Jazz sarcastically replied. "Anyway, I'm going to the police station to see if I can bail Mom and Dad out. Meanwhile, I suggest you use this time to discuss with your friends the plan of revealng your secret to our parents."
After Jazz left, Danny accepted her suggestion and called Tucker and Sam. "Danny, what happened?" Sam asked.
"Sam, Tucker, I'm afraid I must tell my parents the truth." Danny sadly informed them.
"Don't do it, Danny!" Tucker yelled. "I know the witches gave you permission, but what if they changed their minds?"
"I wasn't talking about them, Tucker," Danny explained.
"Danny, have you forgotten why you erased their memories the last time they found out the truth?" Sam asked. "Not that the decision made much sense to me in the first place since they accepted you."
"I haven't forgotten, but I'm afraid the only way to get my parents to stop looking for Vlad is to tell him his secret, which makes it necessary to tell him mine." Danny stated.
"You're right." Sam conceded.
"Good luck, buddy." Tucker said solemnly.
Two hours later, Danny's parents and sister returned. "I can't believe they revoked my license." Jack complained.
"I can't believe it took them this long." Jazz muttered.
"What was that?" Jack asked.
"Uh, Dad, Danny has something to say." Jazz said, not wanting to answer her father's question.
"What's up, son?" Jack asked.
"Dad, remember when I activated the Ghost Portal?" Danny asked.
"Yes, Danny." Jack answered but he and Maddie were becoming worried about where the conversation would lead to.
"Mom, Dad, sorry for not telling me before, but the portal did something to me back then." Danny stated.
"What happened?" Maddie asked with fear.
Danny hesitated but he let two white rings turn him into Danny Phantom. "How could this be?" Jack asked.
"The same way the proto-portal turned Vlad Masters into Vlad Plasmius or, as you and Mom call him, the Wisconsin Ghost." Danny answered since revealing Vlad's secret was exactly what he revealed his own for.
"Why didn't he tell us?" Jack asked. "Why didn't you?"
"Because I was afraid you and Mom would dissect me." Danny explained.
"Danny, why did you think we would do that?" Jack asked and then thought it over. "I mean, besides those times your mother and I talked about dissecting ghosts."
"Danny, sorry if we scared you but how did you keep it a secret from us?" Maddie asked.
"And from your sister and your friends?" Jack added.
"I found out some time before the C.A.T. tests and Tucker and Sam knew from the beginning." Jazz replied.
"Are you saying Tucker Foley actually kept a secret?" Jack asked, shocked at it.
"Yeah, it surprises me as much as it surprises you, Dad." Jazz commented.
As if on cue, Tucker and Sam arrived at Fentonworks. "Danny, are you alright?" Tucker asked.
"Yes, Tucker." Danny answered. "My parents accepted me."
"What else did you tell, Danny?" Sam asked.
"I told them about Vlad Masters being the Wisconsin Ghost, Sam." Danny answered.
"Wisconsin Ghost?" Sam asked, not recalling that name.
"That's how Danny's parents call Plasmius, Sam." Tucker reminded the goth.
"Just as original as calling Danny "Inviso-Bill"." Sam muttered.
"The names were catchy." Jack protested. "If not for the fact I didn't believe humans can have ghost powers, the name "Danny Phantom" would've been a giveaway."
"The problem is deciding whatever we tell Sabrina the truth or not." Maddie stated and then noticed the teenagers' faces. "She already knows, doesn't she?"
"Sorry, Mom." Danny replied.
"So many people knew and we failed to notice?" Jack asked. "What kind of parents are we?"
"The kind with a clueless son." Tucker joked.
"Young boy, this is no time for jokes." Maddie scolded the techno geek.
"Yeah." Jack agreed. "We still have to find out what my former friend is planning that requires this kind of hiding."
Danny felt uneasy. "Actually, Dad, he was captured by some supernatural enemies." He explained.
"Alright but if he comes back, we'll report him even if it means exposing you." Maddie firmly said. "And we need to run tests for side effects of your ghostly powers."
"Sure but no tearing me apart molecule by molecule." Danny replied.
"We had it coming." Jack conceded.
"Once you're done with the tests, how about giving me ghost powers?" Tucker asked. "With Danny having Sabrina, Paulina will need another ghost boy."
"Tucker, you're just as shallow as she is." Sam commented.
"And you don't even have the looks to make up for it." Jack added.
"Hey." Tucker protested.
"Why else do you think Danny chose "Paulina Fenton" as a computer passcode?" Jack asked.
"Fair enough." Jack heard from everyone in the room but Tucker.
"Hey, I'm as beautiful as I'm modest." Tucker protested.
"No arguing there." Jack said.
"Thank you, Mr. Fenton." Tucker replied and then understood what Jack meant. "Hey."

Chapter 11: Period of Adjustment
Summary:
Jack and Maddie are adjusting to the fact their son is a half-ghost.
Chapter Text
Chapter 11: Period of Adjustment
Jack and Maddie Fenton were giving their son checkups when Tucker and Sam showed up. "They're not hurting you, are they?" Sam asked.
"Nothing more than necessary, Sam," Danny replied.
"So, when can I become Tucker Phantom?" Tucker eagerly asked.
"I'm sorry, Tucker, but we still can't be sure that trying to recreate the accident that gave Danny his powers wouldn't turn you into a full ghost," Maddie replied.
"Great." Sam grumbled. She wished she had ghost powers too.
"You're already scary enough as it is." Jack said.
"True." Tucker agreed and, upon realizing what he said, became worried Sam would retaliate.
"Sam, you're not trying to become half-ghost just to have a chance with Danny, are you?" Maddie asked.
"Mrs. Fenton, I want powers to help protect Amity Park." She replied. Sam might be subconsciously trying something with Danny, but that's not the only reason.
"Maddie and I won't take that chance with a minor without parental consent." Jack stated.
"Anyway, Danny, everything's fine with you." Maddie said.
"Good." Danny commented. "I don't wanna miss my date with Sabrina. It'll be on the Netherworld."
"Don't forget to put up a good word with Hilda or Cassandra for me, Danny." Tucker asked.
"Isn't Hilda Sabrina's aunt?" Maddie asked.
"She looks young enough for it not to be a trouble for me, Mrs. Fenton." Tucker answered.
"She still made a point that whoever she dates must be an adult." Danny reminded his friend.
"Are you sure she didn't make it up to avoid Tucker?" Jack asked, making the techno geek frown.
"Yes, I am." Danny answered.
"Thank you, Danny." Tucker said.
"She probably would make it up if she needed to." Sam grumbled.
"And who's Cassandra?" Jack asked.
"One of Sabrina's classmates, Dad." Danny truthfully answered without mentioning all "classes" the two girls attend.
"How good are his chances with Cassandra?" Maddie asked.
"As good as his chances with Paulina." Sam commented.
"You'd better mean it as a compliment." Tucker said with a frown.
"In your dreams, Tucker." Sam replied and then added. "And her nightmares."
"Danny, once you're back, how about we do some practice sessions together?" Jack eagerly asked. "And then we can go hunt ghosts together? You can be my sidekick!"
"I'll do the training, Dad." Danny replied, refusing to reply to his 'sidekick' request.
"Okay, son." Jack replied while Danny flew away.
Tucker then turned his attention to Jazz. "So, there's a new movie I want to watch this Saturday. How about we..."
"Sorry, Tucker." Jasmine quickly replied. "I must attend a seminar about how to come up with excuses to dodge annoying people."
"You'll need it." Tucker snarked.
"This time I agree with you." Sam replied. "Anyway, let's go home."
"Later on, Danny arrived at the Spellmans' house. "Hi, Danny." Sabrina said. "What's new?"
"I told my secret to my parents." Danny answered, shocking his girlfriend.
"Did they take it well?" Sabrina asked out of concern.
"Yes." Danny answered. "Dad's even trying to make me his sidekick."
"A superpowered sidekick to a non-powered human?" Sabrina asked with a giggle. "Is that even a thing?"
"Well, Kim Possible's sidekick can't use his mystical monkey powers at will but technically they count." Danny argued.
"That's open for debate." Sabrina argued back. "But please come in."
Inside, Danny was greeted by Salem, Hilda and Zelda. "By the way, Aunt Hilda, Tucker asked me..."
"No!" She quickly replied.
"Fair enough." Danny commented.
"Danny, we made some snacks." Aunt Zelda said.
"I hope you like bat wings and dragon scales." Salem joked and Danny felt disgusted.
"Salem!" Sabrina scolded her feline companion.
"Come on, 'Brina." Salem pleaded. "You should've seen his face. It was hilarious!"
"That reminds me that I know a ghost dog I should bring with me the next time I come here." Danny replied.
"Hilarious." Salem sarcastically said.
After the pleasantries, Danny and Sabrina went to the Netherworld for their date. "Sabrina, you know this place better than I do." Danny commented. "Where do we go?"
Following Sabrina's suggestion, they went to a place with booths where they could buy snacks. "Do they have similar stuff at the Ghost Zone, Danny?" Sabrina asked.
"I don't know." Danny answered. "I don't even know if ghosts need to eat."
"To be honest, I haven't thought about it either." Sabrina acknowledged.
Suddenly, Cassandra showed up in front of them. "Spellman, Fenton, I'm glad I found you." The metaphorical and literal witch said. "Aunt Enchantra wants to see you."
"Are we in trouble?" Danny asked out of fear Cassandra was setting them up.
"I don't know, but from the look on Aunt Enchantra's face, I'd say so." Cassandra replied, then looked at Sabrina. "What have you been up to, Spellman?"
"Nothing, but we'll get to the bottom of this," Sabrina said, and the three of them headed to Enchantra's castle.
"Danny, Sabrina, I'm glad you came," Enchantra commented.
"To what do we owe the honor of being in your presence?" Danny asked with a tone of fear.
"Tell me, Danny Phantom, besides you and Vlad Plasmius, how many other half-ghosts are there?" Enchantra asked with an expression that made Danny decide it was best to be completely honest with his answer.
"I refused to become Plasmius's son so many times that he decided to clone me," Danny replied. "As far as I know, the only clone still in existence is a girl named Danielle who prefers to be called 'Dani with an I'. Other than that, there aren't any other half-ghosts I've even heard of."
This shocked Sabrina. "You have a clone that isn't your gender?" she asked. "Weird."
'The worst part is that I'm not surprised a witch finds this weird.' Danny thought.
"Some goblins found someone matching that description, and it looks like she needs help," Enchantra said.
"What did they do to her?" Danny asked with a frown, no longer caring if Enchantra was offended.
"It's not that kind of help, Phantom," Enchantra replied.
"Then what hapened?" Danny asked, a little calmer.
"The goblins aren't sure themselves but they said something about green ooze coming out of her body." Enchantra said and Danny's reaction suggested it was serious.
"I need to see her right now!" Danny pleaded.
Enchantra conjured a magical door that led to the goblins' homeland. "Follow me." She ordered.
"Do I have to, Aunt?" Cassandra asked and the glare Enchantra gave her was a clear 'yes'. "Fine." She grumbled.
All of them went to a castle and saw Dani Phantom at a bed. She was oozing ectoplasm. "I thought the ecto-dejecto had ended it!" Danny exclaimed.
"Excuse me, what is this Ecto-dejecto you speak of?" a goblin asked.
"A serum my parents created to weaken ghosts but instead makes them stronger." Danny replied.
"And how are the other ghosts who used this serum?" the goblin asked.
"Actually, the only other ghost I've seen the serum used on hasn't been heard from since then." Danny explained.
"So you never knew how long the effects lasted?" Enchantra asked.
"I never stopped to consider the possibility that the effects might be temporary," Danny admitted, acknowledging that he should have been concerned.
"Is there more ecto-dejecto?" Sabrina asked.
"I'm going to have to reveal another secret to my parents." Danny said sadly.
"It's a good thing you already have permission to tell them our secret as well, Danny." Enchantra commented.
"True." Danny agreed, fearing his parents might want to see Dani. "I'll go see them." He flew back home. "Son, what happened?" Jack asked, realizing he wouldn't be back so soon without a good reason.
"I need some Ecto-Dejecto, please!" Danny said.
Jack and Maddie instead drew their weapons. "Danny, if you're facing a more powerful enemy than usual, we can help." Maddie said. "Our analysis of Ecto-Dejecto suggests it's basically a performance-enhancing drug that loses effectiveness over time."
"Actually, there's another reason I need Ecto-Dejecto." Danny replied and reluctantly told his parents about his female clone.
"When I thought I knew how far my former friend's insanity went..." Jack grumbled.
"We can help but this 'Danielle' you speak of had better come here for further analysis." Maddie stated. "She does need a more permanent solution."
"Yes, Mom." Danny said. After being given some Ecto-Dejecto, he returned to the Netherworld and re-stabilized his 'cousin'. "Thank you, cuz." Dani said.
"Dani, my parents said you'll need a more permanent solution and want you to see them." Danny replied.
"Okay, then." She said.
"Danny, did you tell them about the fact I'm a half-witch?" Sabrina asked her boyfriend.
"No." Danny said and then looked at Dani.
"Don't worry, cuz." The ghost girl said. "Her secret is safe with me."
"Technically we can tell my parents but I'm not sure it's a good idea." Danny commented. "I just told them mine."
"Thank you, Dani." Sabrina said.
"You're welcome." Dani replied. "I see my cousin prefers an actual witch over someone who just likes dark clothes."
"Sam and I are just friends, Dani." Danny replied.
"You're so clueless." Dani said.
The two half-ghosts then flew to Fentonworks. "I see you followed my advice." Maddie commented upon seeing Dani.
For the next two hours, Jack and Maddie ran several tests on their son's female clone. "It was as we feared." Jack somberly declared. "It's just a matter of time until Ecto-Dejecto stops working on her."
"We'll try to develop a more permanent solution but we can't promise any results." Maddie added.
"Mom, Dad, it's all I can ask." Danny sadly replied.
Later on, Danny was telling his friends about Dani. "Danny, couldn't the witches use some sort of magical spell to stabilize her?" Sam asked.
"During our flight to Amity Park, Dani explained that magic can't solve everything and everything they'd consider trying would be too experimental to be tried as anything other than a last recourse, Sam." Danny answered.
"Do they have anything to make me irresistible?" Tucker asked.
"Tucker, this is not the time for this and they're witches, not miracle workers." Danny replied.
"If not for the fact this was a reference to Disney's Hercules, I'd be angry." Tucker commented.
"Little brother, when did you plan to tell me we had a little sister?" Jazz asked.
"I haven't thought about it, Jazz." Danny answered.
"That hurts, little brother." Jazz commented. "I thought I were a trusted sidekick just like Tucker and Sam."
"Hey!" Sam protested. "We're not sidekicks. We're partners."
"And I'm too handsome to be a sidekick." Tucker added.
"Keep telling yourself that, Tucker." Jazz replied.
"If I had a dime for every time he does that." Danny commented.
"Little brother, do witches really fly on broomsticks?" Jazz asked. "What's wrong with flying carpets?"
"I don't know but I might ask Sabrina during our next date." Danny replied.
"If they use flying carpets, I can show Hilda or Cassandra a whole new world." Tucker said.
"Now I want to see a whole new world of barf bags." Sam muttered.
