    Summary

When his life feels like it’s held together by borrowed time and bad choices, Will Graham decides to go back to art. Never in his life he imagined that change would come in the shape of a graceful mute boy and mirrorless eyes.

Hannibal knew that W.G., William Graham, born in 1976, was a creature of habit, he took his two cups of coffee at five in the afternoon, just when the clientele was waning, so he could have the corner table beside the power outlet. Hannibal drove an hour and a half to model for money he did not need, for prey he didn’t have to make any effort to catch, in the end, it's for the performance of it all. He slipped into the role of Will’s boy, who looked him in the eyes when most people avoided him and the widespread radius of awkwardness he brought with him. That’s what Hannibal needs him to see.

...More like, Hannibal Lecter is a part-time model for a life drawing class when he isn't back at Hopkins, and Will Graham is the former detective that always clung too fast, too deeply.

Title from Adrianne Lenker's "terminal paradise", from the album abbyskiss.
