"Can I look now?" Verosika giggled, clutching onto Sallie's arms. Sallie hummed, her hands still covering her girlfriend's eyes.
"Not yet, Sikie…" she drawled out, leading Verosika on. After a bit of walking, Sallie uncovered Verosika's eyes, revealing the city of Envy to her. She hadn't been to Envy in a long while, and was shocked to see the tall towers, the SinSnow everywhere. Envy tended to copy Earth cycles a lot, explaining the faux snow.
"Sal!!" Verosika squealed, jumping into her girlfriend's arms. Luckily, Sallie caught her, twirling her around.
"I planned us a WHOLE day of fun-- first, I got us trip around the city on--"
"OOU--!" Verosika yelped, leaning back unconsciously, as two HellHorses pulled up besides the two.
"Oh, here they are!"
"...what do you mean by that?"
"Well, I rented out a horse buggy for a trip round that the city!"
Verosika glared at her, even though she found it hard to be mad at Sallie. "You got a… a horse buggy.. when you KNOW I'm afraid of horses??"
"Oh, Ver.. come on now! We.. we could use this as a bonding thing? Maybe even get over your fears a bit! Besides, the buggy driver is gonna be in between us and the horses, we ain't gettin hurt none!"
Said driver-- a green, slimish looking Sinner-- growled at them. "You coming or not?"
Sal turned to him, teeth bared. "You shut the Hell up now, or they ain't gonna find your body." With that, she turned back to Verosika. "Please, sugar..?"
Verosika sighed, taking Sal's hand. "Fine."
The two climbed into the buggy, and the Slime Dinner turned to the two. "Hot cocoa?"
"Thought you'd never ask." Sallie took two cups, handing one to Verosika. "To us!"
"To us indeed, love."
