Hello and welcome to our Settphel Hualian AU!
This is a collaborative work between Lulu (aphelionaphelia) and myself (Admiral Anarchy), where we take turns writing a loose and fast retelling of Heaven Official's Blessing with a League of Legends spin. It's not required to have prior knowledge, but it is encouraged.
Some things to keep in mind;
1) This is not a 1 to 1 retelling! Not everything in TGCF will be written, a few plotlines have been cut, and some new twists added.
2) This is mostly going to comprise of vignettes of variable length. The word count will fluctuate, some may be split into parts. It'll be a surprise~
3) Updates will be sporadic and generally unscheduled. We'll update the fic summary with recent additions as they come (so be sure to bookmark or subscribe)
4) Lulu and I are different, beautiful people, and even though we are consulting with each other heavily, there will be inconsistencies. Style, word choice, you name it. Pretend as though you have two different narrators who are in cahoots to tell you a story.
Some world building background info;
Aphelios- our Xie Lian, once the twin Prince of the Rakkor, ascended as the god of the moon alongside his twin goddess of the night. He walks the earth for 800 years as a fallen god of death, using his own blood as weapons, slaying undead, exorcising ghosts, etc until he ascends again.
Sett- our Hua Cheng, now known as Moon Coveting Beast King, or the Red King. He is a calamity level ghost, ruling over a city of undead and spirits, and is renowned for his violent streak and legendary greed. Some say he challenged Heaven itself for a chance to have the moon for himself.
Rakkor- an ancient land along the ridges of Mt Targon, it fell to a schism and eventual civil war between Lunari and Solari 800 years ago.
The Heavens- ruled by the Heavenly Emperor Viego and home to all gods and goddesses, locked in a fight against ghosts and the undead. Alune, Aphelios' twin of night, works here as our Ling Wen, a goddess who does secretarial/bureaucratic work, along with many others.
