   "Is something the matter, Kaveh?" Alhaitham's voice, despite its oddly low and soft nature in the morning, stabbed into his brain, prying his focus away from the stupid mug and up to Alhaitham's face. Alhaitham's brows were once again raised in question, but Kaveh could see the slightest quirk at the corners of his lips.

   After a long, blank moment, Kaveh blinked and shook his head, mumbling "No," and turning away with his—Alhaitham's—mug in his hand.

   Neither of them said another word, instead just puttering about their morning in silence as if everything else was completely usual.
