Chapter Text

Yamato and Kakeru recently moved into a small home, it’s not much but it’s a good start. They decided to move in together after they graduated. Kakeru is expected at some point in his life once he moves up the corporate ladder to find and marry a fellow alpha, preferably a woman so they could start a family or settle for an omega, he wanted to spend the rest of his life with person that he loves so to him it doesn't feel like he’s settling for Yamato. 

 They thought about getting an apartment at first but after giving it some thought they realized that it wouldn't be best for them and that they need a little space to call their own. 

 “Where should I put this?” Kakeru asked, holding a box containing a rice cooker that his mother gave him. They could get some good use out of it. “Just put it over there for now” he replied.

They have a decent amount of counter space for a small home, so they'll end up having it somewhere on top of it until they figure out where they're actually going to put it. Unfortunately, they're not getting suppressants until the next month, so they have to stick by each other when their heat or rut starts. 

They ended up having a small gathering later on with Kakeru’s mother and younger brother and Yamada’s younger sister as a form of housewarming to ease themselves into their new home a little more.

It was kind of nice getting their families together. Maybe they could come over again somewhere in the future but for now they're happy that they're here. 

Chapter Text

The very next day Yamato got up early to make something for himself as well as Kakeru.

There was some food leftover from last night so he might as well use some of it. 

He woke up a little later and quickly got up to check what was going on. 

Yamada was too busy to notice Kakeru walking into the kitchen.

“Morning” he said in a rather groggy tone, Yamada sort of jumped a little and turned around slightly.

“Uhh..morning”. Kakeru slowly dragged his feet as he was about to make a couple cups of coffee, one for him and one for Yamato. He senses a slight scent on him; however, he’ll just focus on making coffee and let him finish making some breakfast. Yamato smells some kind of scent coming from Kakeru but he would rather not say anything.

 Despite neither of them being marked they're both starting to go through preheat and pre-rut, but it wasn't really that obvious to either of them. 

Breakfast was mostly quiet, but Yamato didn't really mind.

Kakeru seems to be more awake, however he's still half asleep.

They haven't started working yet so they have some time to spend with each other until then.

“What do you want to do?” Yamato asked, Kakeru shrugged trying to finish his breakfast.

Maybe they could just go for a walk around and see where it goes from there.

As they were walking around the streets weren't as busy which was a good thing since they didn't want a random alpha or omega to show up and possibly stop them in their tracks.
