Chapter Text

•Akaashi watches from the TV in his living room, wearing a replica of his Husbands jersey which still smells like Musk and Cypress in Oak. Akaashi smiles as he sees Bokuto score a point as he energetically jumps and High Fives Hinata who was teammates with Bokuto, after the game he receives a call.. It was Bokuto.

Akaashi :

Akaashi was immediately interrupted by the other speaker

Bokuto :
𝘏𝘌𝘠 𝘏𝘌𝘠 𝘏𝘌𝘠! 𝘋𝘐𝘋 𝘠𝘖𝘜 𝘚𝘌𝘌 𝘔𝘌 𝘗𝘓𝘈𝘠? 𝘋𝘐𝘋 𝘠𝘖𝘜?

Akaashi :

The other line goes silent, Akaashi looks at the Television to see the MSBY team doing a interview but Bokuto had his phone in his ear.. He was just standing still but it was seen that he was blushing and flustered, some reporters keep trying to get his attention but his just blank out.

Akaashi :
𝘉𝘰𝘬𝘶𝘵𝘰 𝘚𝘢𝘯?

Bokuto :
𝘏𝘶𝘩, 𝘰𝘩, 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘩, 𝘜𝘩𝘮.. 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳

In the Television he covers his mouth and whispers in the phone so no one can hear him

Bokuto :

Akaashi thought this was silly but cute, ever since he asked to keep their marriage a secret his been trying his best to hide the identity of his partner.

•Akaashi was invited to meet by Kenma so their currently in his expensive cafe waiting for Kenma because he said to meet up there.. 𝑅𝑖𝑐ℎ 𝑝𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒-... he was wearing casual clothes but a large hoodie that may or may not belong to Bokuto, he looks up to see Kenma finally entered revealing.. He was just wearing headphones around his neck, baggy jeans and a large beige shirt with a Mario print in the back while also wearing a black spiderman jacket that isn't zippered up.

Kenma : Hey 'kaashi

Kenma says as he pulls a chair out before sitting down

Akaashi : Hello Kenma, how have you been? If you don't mind I've already ordered myself some coffee.

Kenma : Don't worry, I'll pay for you

Akaashi : That's really not needed-

Kenma : I invited you to this, so I should take responsibility

Akaashi stays silent as Kenma calls a waiter and ordered himself some apple pie and coffee.

Kenma : Remarks to your question, I've been doing fine

Akaashi : That's good, how's Kuroo?

Kenma : His been doing fine, his been busy though with work

Akaashi : Ah, I see

The food and coffee of Kenma arrive, Akaashi watches Kenma open his phone and text someone while eating some of the Apple Pie, Akaashi assumes it's just work. Kenma soon puts down his phone and looks directly at Akaashi who shudders a bit with the scent Kenma let go.

Kenma : Do you wanna go somewhere?

Akaashi : Oh? Sure then

They soon finish their drinks and food before paying and leaving the cafe

•Currently, Bokuto was in another region to play with his team but was starting to miss his Husband.. Also because the scent Akaashi placed on his wedding ring that bokuto always wear around his neck was starting to fade alongside the many shirts of Keiji he brought along his trip

Hinata : Bokuto San?

Bokuto snapped out of his thoughts and looked at Hinata

Bokuto : Huh? Oh .. Hey Shoyo!

Hinata : Your zoning out again during the interview

Bokuto : It's nothing.. Just..

Hinata : The scent fading?

Bokuto : How do you-

Hinata : I can smell Bokuto San, don't worry though! After this game I heard from Atsumu San that we'll get home

The look of Bokuto immediately improved, revealing Bokuto's iconic smile

Sakusa : Bokuto

Bokuto : Hey OmiOmi!-

Sakusa : Can you keep your scent to yourself, unlike you some people actually don't like having to smell the scent of others

Bokuto was stunned as Sakusa walked back to his seat, Atsumu was trying to keep a laugh while Hinata comforted Bokuto.

•At the same time Akaashi was in their shared apartment with Bokuto was in their best huddled with all the stuff he has of Bokuto that might still have his scent..

Akaashi : dammit.. Is my heat starting..?.. It was supposed to be one month from now..

Akaashi groans as his scent start to spread out

Akaashi : Bokuto.. Koutaro.. Kou..

Akaashi slightly whines as Bokuto has a shiver down his spine, they were still traveling but Bokuto can tell that Akaashi was experiencing something..

Bokuto : Can we go any faster?

Hinata : Calm down Bokuto San, were almost there..

Bokuto : I-.. Hah..

Bokuto sighs but cooperates, "as long as this makes the trip faster" he said in his head as he settles down in his seat once more.

•Bokuto and his team manages to reach the next and last region they're going to play in for the season, Bokuto gets a call from his husband but wasn't able to notice.. Back at their apartment Akaashi was groaning as the heat and the desire.. Grows more, he has no other choice and decides to call Kenma.

..𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨..𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨..

Kenma : Akaashi?-

Akaashi : Kenma..

Kenma is immediately alerted after hearing the voice of Akaashi

Kenma : Akaashi? Are you okay? What's wrong, don't
tell me that..

Akaashi : My heat came early and-.. It really hurts
this time Kenma..

•Usually , Omega's can deal with their heat alone but when their marked it's more optional to have it with their partner, so when their partner is gone it's quite painful for the Omega to deal with it

Kenma : stay right there Akaashi.. I'll get there soon

Akaashi could hear a faint voice from the phone.. Huh.. Is that Kuroo?.. Akaashi doesn't care much before losing conscious...

•Akaashi wakes up to a calming.. Sweet scent..
"Is that Vanilla and Lavender?.." As akaashi Akaashi opens his eyes he sees a silver haired man sitting down in a nearby chair, he was talking with a pudding hair guy.. Akaashi knew that the Pudding hair was definitely Kenma but the silver hair?..

? : Thank God your awake.. Are you okay?

Akaashi looks around the room.."where's Koutaro?.. " as he unconsciously gives out worried and scared pheromones around the room which was now going against the calm vanilla and lavender scent from earlier.

Kenma : Akaashi?.. Calm down-.. It's just me and Sugawara San

'Sugawara?' Akaashi thought.. Oh.. That's the Omega 3rd year from Karasuno.. What's he doing in Tokyo?

Akaashi : Ah-.. I see

He looks at the silver hair now understanding it was Sugawara.. Suga smiled as he let's out a bit more of his calming scent.. Akaashi looks at Kenma who was wearing a white shirt, blue zipper jacket that has a hood which is wrapped around his waist, brown jorts, and his iconic headset he always wear. While Suga was wearing a long sleeved white collar shirt, a dark blue cardigan, and blue pants.. While Akaashi? Was a mess covered in his husbands clothes that were losing his scent already

•Bokuto encountered a police in work Daichi Sawamura

Daichi: Oh? Bokuto? Funny meeting you here

Hinata : Hi Daichi San!

Daichi : Hey there Hinata, and for your question, I've been doing fine.. Actually he was called by Kenma today

Hinata : Kenma? Why'd he call suga San?

Daichi : I'm not sure, but he said it was urgent

Bokuto : Man, I wanted to meet Sugawara again!!

Daichi : Hahaha, maybe next time

•Soon MSBY won their last game of the season, Bokuto was drinking with the others but had a weird feeling the whole 3days that something was wrong.. He checked his messages to see multiple missed calls from Akaashi

Koutarou <3 :
𝘈𝘨𝘢𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘪𝘪𝘪𝘪𝘪𝘪????? 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥?

It took 20mins for Akaashi to respond.. Which was odd-

Keiji ♡ :
𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵...

Koutarou <3 :
𝘞𝘥𝘺𝘮? 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘰 𝘪𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦!

Bokuto decides to head back to the hotel room first, he excuses himself and goes.. Soon he arrives and calls Akaashi back

..𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨..𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨..𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨..

Akaashi : Koutarou?..

Bokuto smiled, he loved being called by his first name by his one and only Keiji

Bokuto : Hey there Keiji

Bokuto managed to say in a quieter tone than usual

Bokuto : are you about to sleep there? I love you... And
I'll be home soon

Akaashi : Mhm.. Kou.. Hurry please

Bokuto : Huh? What's wrong 'kaashi?

Bokuto felt off after hearing the response of Akaashi..

Akaashi : It's nothing.. Just.. Hurry?..

Bokuto : I'll go as fast as I can love.. Wait for me

Akaashi faintly smiles.. They soon ended up doing a sleep call together... Both Akaashi and Bokuto soon wake up to feel the wind blowing on their faces.. They just wish to be with each other faster..

•Bokuto wakes up to see Akaashi by the door.. "Akaashi? What are you doing with luggage-".. " I'm done with you Bokuto, let's get a divorce, and may we never see each other ever again" .. Bokuto's heart drops as he watches Akaashi remove and drop the very ring he used to marry him on the ground before leaving..

? : ...-uto San?.. Bok... San... Bokuto San!

Bokuto wakes up to see a orange hair looking at him with concern.. He looks up and realizes it was just a dream

Bokuto : Ah-.. Sorry..

Hinata : It's alright.. Are you okay? Your pheromones smelled like you were distressed..

Atsumu : Yer alright Bokkun?

Atsumu suddenly came up to him as the bus stopped, Bokuto looks up and nervously chuckles

Bokuto : It's fine!-.. It was just a dream so no worries!!

Bokuto tries to do one of his iconic smiles but realizes there was this odd calm scent overlapping his own a round the air.

Bokuto : What's that scent??

Hinata : Oh, Sak-

Atsumu interrupted Hinata before he can finish

Atsumu : Omi kun didn't wanna start smellin like someone else's scent so he started to release his own

Bokuto listened and nodded

Bokuto : Oh.. 

Hinata : Don't worry Bokuto San! Were almost back anyway!! 

Bokuto immediately smiles in the thought of seeing Akaashi once more.. He suddenly gets a call from his bro Kuroo

Everyone else looks at Bokuto who just screamed

Hinata : Bokuto San?.. Akaashi San got his heat early!? 

Sakusa makes Hinata sit down and not intervene, it isn't their problem so he shouldn't speak while Bokuto was still on the phone

Back at Tokyo Kuroo looks down at his phone, he was confused about the fact Bokuto had no idea about Akaashi's recent heat.. He knocks on the door and Kenma opens the door

Kenma: Thanks for bringing this.. 

Kuroo: Don't worry, anything for you kitten

Kenma blushes as Kuroo kisses his cheek.. Inside the bedroom was Akaashi who was covered in the clothes of Bokuto that barely has his scent.. Back outside, Kenma let's Kuroo inside 

Kuroo: What's this smell?-

Kenma: Suga San came here earlier to help.. He released some calming pheromones and checked on Akaashi before heading off to work.. 

Kuroo: Ah.. Okay, well Bokuto said his coming soon..

Kenma nods and starts talking the groceries out and places them in their designated place

Kuroo: Kitten

Kenma: huh? 

Kuroo: .. How come Bokuto wasn't aware that Akaashi was in his heat? 

Kenma: ... I don't know

.

Bokuto: I can't believe.. His going

through all this alone.. 

Bokuto was panicking.. Sakusa groans as he has to release more of his calming scent to try and help ease Bokuto but.. They all know its useless..

Atsumu: Calm down Bokkun, it's not yer fault, ya didn't know.. 

Bokuto: I-Im supposed to know! 

He growled as Atsumu moved away a bit in fear..

Bokuto: I'M HIS MATE, I SHOULD KNOW

Sakusa: Shit.. 

The scent of Bokuto becomes more heavy, overlapping the scent of Sakusa.. Hinata whimpers as he tries to not participate in this.. Meian and Shion do their best to keep Bokuto calm.. Bokuto growls as Atsumu start to feel dizzy.. Suddenly a loud "Thud" was heard.. Atsumu fainted.. Everyone starts to yell for the bus to stop as Bokuto stares.. Sakusa rushes and helps atsumu in a better position while releasing his scent.. Shit.. shit shit shit shit shit.. Bokuto thought.. He looks at his unconscious teammate and friend.. "Is this because of me.. Wha-...." He looks at atsumu..

In their apartment, Akaashi felt odd.. As if there's something wrong.. "Bokuto.. What's happening.."

•Bokuto looks down at his unconscious teammate.. Sakusa holds him as he tries his best to release calming pheromones.. He can't hear anything.. Just ringing...ring.. Ring. Ring. Ring..

Hinata: Bokuto San!-

Hinata tries his best to make Bokuto calm down alongside Meian, Bokuto just keeps on releasing distressed pheromones.. 

Meian: bokuto!-

Bokuto can't hear.. "What happened to Akaashi".. " whys TsumTsum on the ground".. "What's this smell".. Bokuto thinks to himself as the bus rushes to a hospital instead where they were supposed to go

As they reached the hospital, Bokuto gets lead to a room where he can calm down.. Hinata enters and sits down beside Bokuto who's currently curled up under a table

Hinata: Bokuto San?.. 

Bokuto: .. Yes? 

Hinata: Are.. You okay?.. This.. You

aren't usually like this-.. Is there something

wrong?.. Is this about Akaashi San-

Bokuto whimpers at the thought of Akaashi

Hinata: Oh.. So it is about Akaashi San.. 

Bokuto: It's.. It's just that, I can't believe he wouldn't tell me that his in heat!-.. I.. I just feel like he can't trust me.. 

Hinata: If Akaashi San did that, there must be a good explanation.. 

Bokuto: ... How's.. How's TsumTsum?

Hinata: Atsumu San?.. Oh, his fine.. His resting and Kiyoomi San is with him inside his room

Bokuto: ... That's good

Hinata: let's go out? You wanna see Atsumu San right? 

Bokuto: .... 

Bokuto looks up and sees Hinata smiling while releasing a bit of his own calming pheromones.. This is what Akaashi would do whenever he was sad back in high school.. What ever did go wrong.. Bokuto slowly gets up from the table and smiles

As they walk to the recovery room in the hospital bokuto looks at Hinata

Bokuto: Hinata.. 

Hinata: Yes bokuto San? 

Bokuto: I-.. Thank you, for earlier

Hinata: No worries!.. 

Bokuto chuckles and ruffles Hinata's hair

Bokuto: That's my disciple!! 

. 

As they reach the door to the recovery room, Bokuto hesistates.. 

Hinata: Bokuto San? 

Bokuto: Huh? Oh, yeah.. 

Hinata: don't worry! Atsumu San is alright now! He understands why this happened

Bokuto hesistates before opening the door.. There on the left side 3rd bed, was Atsumu who was being forced to eat by a Angry but also concerned Sakusa.. Atsumu and Sakusa looks at the tall man who just entered, alongside the small boy beside him.. Before bokuto could talk Atsumu smiles 

Atsumu: Bokkun! Yer okay now? 

Before Atsumu could continue, Bokuto starts to tear up , it wasn't that surprising though

Bokuto : I-Im sorry..

Atsumu: No worries!-

Bokuto: I'm really sorry!-.. If it wasnt for me then you wouldn't have fainted!.. It's my fault., I'm sorry.. I'm sorry.. I'm sorry-

The pheromones of Bokuto slowly go heavier but soon recover as he sees Atsumu chuckle and saying "it's fine" before Bokuto just hugs and cries a bit..

With Akaashi he was currently doing something.. Private-.. So his alone in his room, Kenma has been helping Akaashi while his heat is going on.. He heard that Bokuto felt "heart broken" in the words of Kuroo so he wasn't sure what Akaashi feels right now. He knocks on the door before he hears something.. Inopropriate, so Kenma immediately backs away, flustered.

Later, Kenma opens the door to see Akaashi in bed, asleep, tired.. Kenma puts a blanket ontop of Akaashi as he slept peacefully. Kenma wasn't really the best at taking care of others but maybe it's just his instincts as an Omega. Before Kenma leaves the room he hears Akaashi say Bokuto's name while he slept, "sleep well Akaashi", Kenma said as he leaves the room and closes the door

Akaashi Keiji, he was the beloved 2nd year setter and vice captain of Fukurodani who then persued the career path of an editor for a shōnen manga magazine. He soon was marked and married to the pro volleyball player Bokuto Koutaro who also played for the Japan VNL against Argentina, Akaashi knew the effects that might happen if their too far away but he didn't care, as long as they were together it would be fine.. That's what he thought of

Right now, Kenma is enduring the urge to go outside and leave but he knew that he couldn't just leave his friend alone, atleast in the current state he is in. Akaashi is currently doing something private that most Omega's do during their heat when their not marked or their partner isnt available, Kenma sighs and continues to scroll down his Instagram until he lands on a image of him and Kuroo, it was when Kuroo was about to leave for college and Kenma might or might not teared up saying he didn't care.

After a bit, Akaashi came outside his room which smelled like his pheromones. He goes out and sees Kenma taking some fast food from a person outside, most likely a delivery driver, before closing the door and making eye contact with him

Kenma : You wanna eat some lunch?

As both Akaashi and Kenma ate lunch, they talked a bit 

Akaashi : I heard you recently got engaged to Kuroo

Kenma: Oh, yeah, it was embarrassing a bit..

Akaashi: How so? 

Kenma: He did it during a reunion with the team.. Can't believe they got Yaku San to participate.. 

Akaashi: That's nice

Kenma: ... How are you doing now? 

Akaashi: I've been fine, my heat is almost over anyway.. 

Kenma: Just.. Tell me if you need anything

Akaashi: ... Thank you Kenma

Kenma: Your welcome

Kenma said he had to grab some things from his shared apartment with Kuroo, it's also because Kuroo was out of town for work. So Akaashi was currently alone. His been doing everything he can to keep his mind away from bokuto and his heat but he does the occasional.. 'Thing' because he can't stand it. 

He soon received a phone call from the one and only Bokuto Koutaro

Ring ring.. Ring ring

Akaashi📱:Bokuto san? 

Bokuto📱: Hey hey hey! Hi Agaashi!!! How are you?? I miss you 🥺💞

Akaashi📱: I'm.. doing fine, I miss you too 

Bokuto📱: Watcha doin? 

Akaashi 📱: I'm just reading a book is all.. 

Bokuto📱: oh okay! Well I'm going to be home tomorrow morning! 

Akaashi 📱: Really? Okay, stay safe

Bokuto 📱: You too ❤❤ LOVE YOUUUUU

Akaashi 📱: Love you too Kou

Bokuto 📱: *fan girl screaming*

Call ended

Akaashi was happy that his husband would arrive soon tomorrow, he smiles as he lays down before falling asleep
